Beautiful and very accesible for families to enjoy. There are good stores but not too many however, it’s a great place to walk outside in a safe environment. Good places to eat specially for a quick coffee break.
Eileen V — Google review
Beautiful and clean area with plenty of great restaurants and shops. The atmosphere is lively but still relaxed. Parking is easy — there are several garages nearby, and it’s well organized. Perfect spot for a walk, shopping, or dinner out.
Gerald L — Google review
Great place to live. Has everything: shopping, dining, grocery, drinks, parks, entertainment, hospital, hair salons, etc. It’s clean, safe, walkable, has a metro stop, and is along the W&OD trail.

I love Reston. Walkable with multiple high quality restaurants - hard to decide between them. Always something going on in the square.
Petra B — Google review
Very nice town center. I have been coming here for years. There is plenty of parking in the garages. A wide variety of restaurants to dessert places and retail as well. Located right off the exit this is a safe place to bring children as well. They block off the roads and there’s plenty of policeman around.
Khoi N — Google review
Visited on a Friday afternoon. Free 1 hour parking. Reasonable parking prices for the garages. Quieter than expected for a city-like area, like not too many cars or people out and about. Pretty and clean--you can tell it's newer construction. Very walkable with plenty of eats and shopping. Nice place to visit for the area.
Mary — Google review
I’ve been a frequent visitor to Reston Town Center for years, and it always delivers something new each time. It’s become the heart of modern Reston, with its lively mix of shops, restaurants, and gathering spots. Every visit feels different—sometimes it’s a quick coffee, other times a long evening with friends. 🛍 Shopping & Dining One of the biggest draws for me is the variety of shopping and dining. From big names to smaller, unique spots, there’s always something to explore. The dining scene is strong—you can do anything from a casual bite to a full night out. I’ve had plenty of great meals here, and it keeps me coming back. 🎭 Evenings & Events RTC works well for dinners and evenings out, but it’s not a late-night party destination. The energy comes more from its restaurants, wine bars, and seasonal events—like concerts, festivals, and even ice skating in the winter—than from traditional nightlife. It’s lively enough without ever feeling overwhelming. 🚶 Walkability & Atmosphere The setting is clean, safe, and very walkable. I like being able to stroll the plazas, grab a seat outside, and just enjoy the vibe. Even when it gets crowded—especially on weekends or event nights—it’s more energetic than chaotic. 🏞 History & Changing Vibe What’s interesting to me is how much RTC reflects Reston’s shift over the years. Back in the day, Reston had a more non-commercial, community-centered vibe—quiet lakes, trails, and green spaces defined it. Town Center changed that, creating a bustling, urban energy in the middle of the suburbs. For me, both versions of Reston are cool in their own way. It was cool then, and it’s still cool now. ✨ Overall Experience As someone who visits often, I can say that Reston Town Center never disappoints. Whether I’m here for shopping, dining, a community event, or just a casual walk, it works for every mood. RTC has become a landmark in its own right, a symbol of how Reston has grown while still keeping its community spirit alive.

Tapas restaurant
Wine bar
Barcelona Wine Bar is a charming Spanish eatery located in Reston Town Center, offering a blend of rustic and elegant ambiance. Situated near Town Square Park and adjacent to its sister restaurant, bartaco, this high-end establishment serves up traditional Spanish small plates and an extensive selection of wines.
It's been a long while since we've visited Barcelona Wine Bar in Reston Town Center. We were pleased with our server Angie, who provided excellent service and was knowledgeable about the dishes. At 12noon on Memorial Day the restaurant wasn't busy so Angie was able to provide lots of attention & attend to our drinks & food. All 5 tapas came out quite quickly & we opted for hot instead of cold tapas. The tapas didn't come out hot but was tasty. We ordered broccolini 🥦 , eggplant 🍆 caponata, cauliflower tapas as well as octopus 🐙 and dates wrapped with bacon 🥓. Thanks Angie we will be back 😋

I’ve taken friends, family, and dates here and it’s the perfect spot for all of them! With a wide variety of wine to choose from you’ll definitely find something you’ll like! The large plate options take about 30-40 minutes to prepare so order those first if you do! Otherwise the tapas are plenty and come out quickly in less than 10 minutes.
Huy — Google review
Came here for a lunch date with my husband, and while I’ll admit everything was absolutely delicious, I’m personally not a huge fan of tapas-style dining. Yes, we ordered 10+ dishes for just the two of us and yes, we eventually got full — but I’m the type of person who, if something tastes amazing, I want a full portion to really satisfy my inner foodie binge. Small plates leave me a little frustrated. That said, the flavors were spot on across the board. Each dish was well-prepared and tasty, and I can see why people love this place, especially if you enjoy pairing tapas with wine. Service was fine — not bad, not fantastic. Waiting 5–10 minutes for drink refills got a bit annoying, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Would I go back? Probably if friends suggested it. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you like wine and enjoy the tapas experience. For me personally, since I don’t drink and prefer larger portions, it’s not exactly my style — but still a solid and enjoyable spot.
Ann S — Google review
I love sitting at this bar and ordering a bunch of small plates. My favorites are the papas bravas and the potato pie thing but all the cheese and charcuterie was delish too. I haven’t had a bad bartender here yet! I’ve prob been 5 times in the last year. The atmosphere is cool, the hooks under the bar for coats and purses are amazing, eating outside with my dog was very nice too. 10s across the board for me:)

From the moment I stepped into Barcelona, it felt like a celebration! The place was buzzing with energy, the music and décor created such a festive vibe, and I instantly felt like I was part of something special. The staff were not just friendly—they made the whole night fun, almost like they were hosts at a party. The laughter, the clinking glasses, and the cheerful atmosphere made it one of the most memorable nights I’ve had in a long time. The food and drinks only added to the excitement—everything was delicious, colorful, and full of flavor. Every plate that arrived at the table felt like a little event of its own. Honestly, I had the best time of my life here. If you’re looking for more than just a meal—if you want an experience that feels festive, joyful, and unforgettable—Barcelona is the place to be!

I had an incredible experience thanks to our server Josue. From the moment we were seated, they were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. It’s rare to come across someone so professional and passionate about their work-our experience was made memorable because of their amazing service. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing food! They all taste great. A little bit pricey for small plates but you get what you pay for.

Eat up with some friends for dinner one evening to eat some tapas. We had a reservation for prompt seating. The place was packed and loud. I personally am not a fan of the loudness due to bad acoustics that could be solved with proper treatments. The crowd is good to show the place has high demand. The food was very good and we enjoyed a great meal for the evening. If it was quieter I would go back otherwise I will enjoy tapas when I get back to Barcelona Spain later this year.

We always have a fantastic experience at Ted’s Bulletin! The food is consistently delicious, and we never skip ordering a side of their incredible French toast — it’s a must-try! Our server, Oslin, was wonderful — professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our meal. Highly recommend visiting, especially if you’re in the mood for comfort food done right. Don’t miss the French toast!

Ted's Bulletin at Reston Town Center is a fantastic dining spot that showcases modern American fare. Its prime corner placement sets this location apart, allowing plenty of natural light to fill the main dining area through the large street-facing windows. Breakfast here is not just a meal; it's an invigorating experience that energizes my day. The food is consistently cooked to perfection and packed with flavor, and I've noticed an impressive upgrade in their dishes since my last visit, featuring fresher and healthier ingredients. The excellent service complements the inviting atmosphere, perfectly capturing a classic old charm.

Ted’s Bulletin in Reston is absolutely wonderful! The outdoor seating is beautifully decorated with flowers, creating such a charming and inviting atmosphere. The service is outstanding — very friendly and incredibly fast. The coffee is excellent, the portions are huge, and everything tastes fresh and flavorful. I especially loved the steak and cheese and the Norwegian Benedict — both were perfect. The kids’ meal was fantastic as well, which made the whole family happy. This location really stands out with its warm atmosphere, delicious food, and top-notch service. Highly recommended

I always like Ted’s Bulletin, their salads are light and healthy, and the portions are big. This time I ordered the Lobster Cobb Salad, which was a big portion of green mix salad, half an avocado, and two deviled eggs, which was very nutritious. I am afraid of salads that are too salty, but this lobster salad was great and completely in line with the healthy principle. Highly recommended.

I came to Ted's Bulletin for the first time last year. The quality of the food and atmosphere of the restaurant was incredible. Ted's Bulletin is now a staple for me. Whenever I travel to Reston, VA I always make sure to stop by Ted's before I travel back home. Just came back to Ted's this morning for breakfast. The peach Bellini is my absolute favorite. Last year I got the Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes. They were amazing!.

Came in during happy hour and was seated right away. I chose a bar seat and was helped by Mike who gave great suggestions and was so helpful. The service from Mike and others made the already great food even better! From the starter to the French onion burger, and topping it off with the best dessert I’ve ever had, 10/10 excellent experience as an outsider from the West Coast!! Thank you!

This place have outdoor and indoor area, look cozy inside and out but I sit outside as the lovely weather on the day. It was not too busy when I was there ( the photos were taken late after dinner time, so they have people in the restaurant before I took the photos ) pretty much after everyone almost left. I was not hungry but just wanted to try some of their food so I only ordered starter and it was gorgeous then more drinks afterwards. Staff are friendly, good experience for me. And I love their hot chocolate it was not in the photos uploaded as I was enjoying too much and down it quickly!

Clyde's of Reston is a well-established local chain that offers a traditional setting to enjoy classic American cuisine and cocktails. Situated near an ice rink, the restaurant boasts a beautiful location in Reston Town Center with well-maintained surroundings. Visitors praise the courteous staff who adhere to Covid-19 protocols diligently. It has become a favorite dining spot in the DMV area, with recommendations to start with salads followed by main dishes.
One of the busiest place in Reston. Good food - quality as well as the portion is huge. They have nice collection of wines and cocktails. Beers are also available. We tried the deviled eggs and fried calamari for appetizers, Shrimp and Chorizo orzo and Pan Fried Salmon as Entrees. Sandwiches are good too. Reserve your table in advance.

Very cool little spot. The food was delicious! I had the Cuban burrito and the mix of flavors was amazing. Good quality meat as well. The people I was with had different sandwiches and they also said they were excellent. The service was friendly and it looks like they might play music in the evenings because they had a cool stage set up. I hope to go again soon.

5 star atmosphere. 5 star service. 4.5 star food. All of the Clyde's I've been to are fantastic, and this one is no different. Situated in an upscale Reston shopping center, there are plenty shops and restaurants to entertain you. This restaurant has a fun, nautical themed atmosphere. The food is very good. I had the firebird chicken sandwich. They offer a full service bar with handcrafted cocktails. Expect to pay $30ish per person with cocktails.

My family and I had visited Clyde’s of Reston this past holiday season and we had a fabulous time! The location of the restaurant was beautiful! Especially being right next to the ice rink! The surrounding of the restaurant is beautiful too! The finest in the NoVa area! We loved how the Reston Town Center has managed to upkeep the surroundings I’m it’s prestigious condition. The workers at Clyde’s were courteous and they did followed through with their Covid19 protocols and they were excellent servants! It will be soo disappointing to see the Clyde’s Restaurant close! I have grown up here in the NoVa areas at the Fairfax County region and the Clyde’s at Reston is the BEST I have ever experienced! That meal outing at the Clyde’s at Reston served as a memorable family dinner outing for my family & I! Even though this pandemic the Clyde’s of Reston is the best at NoVa area!

Ruth's Chris Steak House is an upscale steakhouse chain that offers sizzling, butter-topped beef in an elegant setting. Some of their popular dishes include the Petite Filet, Cowboy Ribeye, and Lobster Mac & Cheese. The restaurant is known for providing the finest USDA prime beef and exceptional service. Guests have praised the sweet potato casserole and recommend trying the prix fixe menu for a variety of options.
My partner and I went here tonight for a three-course meal for $55 and had a delicious and satisfying meal. My partner and I both ordered the Steak House Salad and Salmon & Shrimp. We ordered creamed spinach for me and garlic mashed potatoes for my partner, and finished with classic cheesecake for dessert. The salad was incredibly satisfying, and the salmon and shrimp were perfectly grilled, fresh, and delicious. The cheesecake at the end was truly amazing. Each dish was generously portioned, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

This place seemed very nice, and I was excited to enjoy a good steak. However, I was a bit disappointed in the flavor of it. Unfortunately, it was a bit dry, and although it was cooked to my liking, it seemed a bit overcooked around the outside. I'm huge into cocktails, and I was intrigued by the drink known as "Prisoner Sour" - which has makers mark 46 topped with a but of wine floating, see picture attached. When I read this, i imagined a whiskey sour woth wine and some high mesh foam like any whiskey sour has, but it has none. And it was a terrible drink. Luckily, they weren't allowed to pay for it. Normally, I say nothing and drink away, but I couldn't, and then I just had a regular manhattan that was much better but also nothing special. To my side dishes, they were good, I ordered some cheesy dish that just tasted like mac n cheese it was ok, and then a baked potatoe that after mulching in all the ingredients it tasted very well. But to go to a somewhat fancy location, it was far too expensive to have about the potatoes. I think for the price, the food was lacking over all. The drinks were lacking too. However, it was a large selection of wines. This might be the selling point here, I'm not a huge wine person, but I do enjoy it from time to time. If you're going here, then I would take the opportunity to indulge in a good wine, I would eat a more fatty steak as those tend to have more flavore than the lean cuts. Cheers

Nice stop for happy hour prior to a flight at Dulles. They weren’t busy was able to sit at the bar and get happy hour pricing. Super quick service and friendly bartenders. Definitely recommend if you need a quick spot to stop for a decent meal prior to a flight. I had the seared ahi tuna which was fresh, the sauce they laid it in was delicious. I also had the steak sandwich. It was filet cooked to order and a side of crispy fries. And a slight dirty dirty martini to wash it down and blue cheese stuffed olives of course.

Paul was absolutely amazing. Trusted him to pair a wine with my ribeye and he nailed it. Top tier service from Paul and also dealt with my shenanigans with good spirits. Food was AMAZING! Great time. Great food. Amazing waiter. Paul for the win!

Food was excellent., hats off to the kitchen. But, the front of the house needs work. The service and ambiance are akin to an average hotel restaurant. College age guys dropping the F bomb and talking trash about other customers is not my idea of good service or etiquette. I don’t like them dropping a napkin over my hands unannounced either. Blaring music and plain/low-end decor is not a mood. RC does not stack up to the other proper steakhouses out there, especially when you’re spending the same amount of money for the experience. Choose Morton’s, The Palm, or Capital Grill.

The steak I had was good, as were the sides. Unfortunately, they were out of the corn, so we didn't get to try that. The creme brule we got at the end was delicious, so overall we had a good time. We were in a larger group, and it took a while for the food to come.

Our meal, service and attention to detail were truly 5 stars. Jack provided excellent service, a dining room manager came to our table quite often to make sure we were okay and a nice lady employee stopped by to speak to us because our 1 year son got her attention. She said he was so cute and she told us of her 3 year old child. It was nice talking to her. Jack had our Caesar salad and the kids chicken split in the kitchen and brought out the Caesar salad in separate bowls for my wife and I and brought out the kids chicken on separate plates for our daughters. Our daughters loved the chicken,n French fries and ketchup and ate it all. The Caesar salad was amazing. Jack asked could he bring out the kids chicken plates early, we said yes, and he brought their plates early as requested. I had blackened salmon and shrimp, gave the shrimp to my wife and she ate it up. My wife ordered New York strip steak, baked potato, sweet potato casserole and brussel sprouts. She ate what she could and boxed up the remaining so we could take it home and eat later for leftovers. She enjoyed the meal. Jack had ice cream and chocolate syrup brought out for our daughters. They enjoyed it. Bathroom was nice as well. Scheduled reservation via Google and open table. Used an email coupon and Google Pay to pay the bill. Saturday evening, paid for street parking.

I had not been to Ruth Chris in years. My husband and I had an impromptu dinner there last night and had a really great time. The food was amazing and Jack and Michael were so great!! Having been on the restaurant business for yrs, no matter how good the food is, the service is key to the experience. I was a touch grumpy coming in but Jacks kindness, warm smile and incredible ability to "read the room" turned my whole night around. Michael was in training but I could tell he was going to be really great also! We def will not stay away for so long this time and will be sure to make sure Jack or Michael are working. Also--- make sure the ask for Jack's famous Espresso Martini!

Came here for date night for the first time and wow, this place is legit. The tacos were delicious and super filling, and the rice bowls were fresh and packed with flavor. The drinks are absolutely perfect for this summer heat. I also loved the rustic vibe, cozy, laid-back, and really inviting. What really stood out was how the managers took time to chat with everyone, making the whole experience feel extra special. We’ll definitely be back!

The tacos were amazing—bursting with flavor. While the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price, the taste definitely delivered. Our order took a little while, and for a group of four, it came out in a somewhat scattered way, which left us a bit confused. Thankfully, the manager on duty was outstanding and quickly cleared things up. Overall, we had a great time. The experience was truly enjoyable.

Happy hour prices were great! Service was friendly and open. The food and drinks were AMAZING. I got the chicken verde, crispy shrimp, and ahi tuna tacos with equites and a key lime pie for dessert. It was all good. I also got a lime mojito which was perfect. As soon as I sat down I was given water and a menu. I was able to order 2 minutes later, and received my food and drink 5 minutes later. I loved my experience here. Will definitely be coming back!

Came here recently for date night with my husband and had a great evening! All of our food & drinks came out great! We have been coming here for years and absolutely love the food, service, & overall environment! The only thing I wish is that the Mexican street corn came with more crema and chili seasoning, other than that everything was delicious. The fried plantains are something we get every time we visit. The white sauce that comes with the plantains is out of this world and amazing on the tacos as well. The new summer duo of the Lobster and Ribeye tacos is insanely delicious and something I hope they continue to have!

Sushi restaurant
Obi Sushi Japanese Bistro is a restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet with a wide selection of sushi, traditional dishes, and sake. They are known for their delicious bento boxes which are priced at around $15 and provide a generous portion size. The bento boxes include tasty tempora shrimp and/or veggies, signature rolls, rice, protein options, salad, and a flavorful miso soup. The restaurant also has a diverse range of fresh sushi rolls available.
Open late and not far from our hotel. Good selection, comfortable atmosphere. We enjoyed a nice dinner. Mushroom miso was an exciting find for my boyfriend.

I had better sashimi here from my previous visits. Today it was not as good. However they have delicious ramen today
Stacy T — Google review
The service was great, and sushi was pretty good. I sat at the sushi bar and was served quickly. The food tasted fresh, but wasn't thrilled with the spicy tuna in one of my rolls.
Dustin S — Google review
Just one of the best bento boxes you can find! It's about $15, yet very well worth it. It's actually quite a large portion size and well balanced with delicious tempora shrimp and/or veggies, signature rolls, rice, protein of choice, salad, and of course, a SUPER flavorful miso soup. They have a great variety of fresh sushi rolls as well. But really, if you're coming for lunch, get one of their bento boxes.. you'll love it!
Derek C — Google review
I went during a not very busy time and also not during their buffet and enjoyed it. Somewhat small portions and lukewarm food, but the sushi was great.
Broke H — Google review
Don't bother. I would not say this is the worst sushi place I have been to. But it is not worth going to. The menus and objects on the table were very dirty. The food was pretty bad and our drinks remained empty until our check was put on the table. No one bothered to fill our drinks or remove unused plates. There was 1 other couple in the restaurant with about 3 front of house staff. No excuse for such poor service. If you are going to eat in the town-center just avoid Obi Sushi.
Nicholas R — Google review
Been going there for years. The sushi is better quality than any other sushi place in the area (and we've tried them all.) No idea why places in, Vienna for example, have higher ratings when the sushi cuts there are clearly less fresh and frankly thinner that Obi Sushi. Oh and just to be clear, we're picky. If there is one thing my wife and I don't like at Obi, it is the sweet items on the menu could be less sweet - like the dressing on the side salads that come with entree orders.
Daniel K — Google review
First off, the red wine (Blackwood?) was spectacular and the fish was fresh and actually melted in my mouth. Order the chef special. You won’t be disappointed. This Sushi restaurant is as good as it gets. It also helped that the ambiance was quiet and romantic. Beside the windowsill is our table permanently awaiting us.

PokeHub is a compact, casual eatery located at 11990 Market St Ste C, Reston, VA 20190. It offers a build-your-own poke bowl concept with an array of toppings, fish options, rice varieties, and sauces to choose from. The restaurant has garnered popularity for its fresh fish and generous portions. Customers particularly appreciate the diverse range of free toppings available such as seaweed, crunchy onions, and tortilla chips.
Great place for takeout! We love the Fairfax location much more, though. They have fountain drinks, more food options, and you can eat from a big bowl when dining in instead of a takeout container. They have better music, and there isn’t an alarm bell going off anytime an online order comes in.
Reid M — Google review
PokeHub is solid! Pretty standard poke place with options like tuna or salmon, or a fancy smoked eel box (which I'll have you try next time). There's chicken for the kids as well. Everything was fresh and tasty, and I finished off my bowl. I would say that while the bowl was generous, it seemed to be mostly rice, whereas I've been in other states, some with no ocean access at all, and had much larger portions of fish. That's my only complaint
Benjamin B — Google review
Meh. Rather soulless. Food was decent so I won't write it off completely. The dining area was visibly dirty and didn't feel welcoming (cameras, stacks of unopened drink packages). Server was friendly. Overall needs improvement.
G — Google review
One of the best tasting Poke bowls I've ever had. All the ingredients were fresh, and the selection of toppings was excellent. I would eat here frequently if I lived in the area.
Eddie H — Google review
The PokeHub in Reston is a legit poke restaurant. This is my favorite poke place in northern Virginia. The fish is fresh and they provide healthy portions in each of their bowls. I love their sauces, especially the Ponzu and Spicy Mayo. Additionally they have lots of free toppings including seaweed, crunchy onions, and crunchy tortilla chips which are all free. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some fresh Poke.
Jim L — Google review
Spicy ahí tuna' flavor was good. Tuna was minced, served with a ice cream scoop, did not look appealing. Suggestion on tortilla chips topping did not fit a Poke dish. Customer service was not great either.
Eddie C — Google review
Other than the atmosphere, food and services was great. I tried salmon and salad with sesame sea weed and loved it.
Clint E — Google review
A good poke place if u are looking for a fast meal, but the quality of the fish doesn’t justify the price. Paying over 15$ for a poke bowl and having to throw half the fish away because it smells weird is not great. I’m hoping that the bad salmon was just a fluke the one time I was there. But the place looks nice and clean and the staff were very helpful.

Founding Farmers Reston Station is a cooperative-grower-owned restaurant that offers American farm-to-table cuisine in a rustic setting. With multiple locations, including one near the Reston-Weihle Metro Stop, this spot prides itself on its seasonal ingredients and house-made breads. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes, such as Shrimp and Crab Fettucine and Southern Fried Chicken.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Founding Farmers in Reston is a must-visit! The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The meatloaf with string beans, mashed potatoes, and rich mushroom gravy was next-level and easily one of the best meatloaves I’ve ever had. The scallops with risotto were also a great pick, perfectly cooked and full of depth. The ambience, the decor, and the service were all top-tier. I’ll definitely be coming back this month to try more dishes this place was all that!

I visited this place some time ago, but the experience was memorable enough that I wanted to share it now. It had such a lively and modern atmosphere! The high ceilings with exposed industrial design, combined with warm lighting and stylish decor, gave the restaurant a trendy yet comfortable vibe. It felt casual enough for a coffee or brunch with friends, but also energetic enough for a fun dinner outing. The food was fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. Each dish was well-presented—from the vibrant salads to the hearty mains and perfectly brewed coffee. The portions were generous, and everything tasted balanced and satisfying. The latte was smooth and creamy, while the black coffee had a bold, rich flavor that paired beautifully with the meal. Service was quick and attentive despite the restaurant being quite busy, which made the dining experience even better. Even though some time has passed since my visit, I still remember it as a great spot for both food and atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good flavors and a buzzing, modern setting.

Stanley and Lyndsey were awesome servers. The food is hot and fresh and tastes better than most chain restaurant buffets. I take my parents here every time they're in town. It's the Farm life atmosphere and cooking that draws you in and the friendly staff just makes the experience that much better! AAA+++

This was our first time at Founding Farmers and we loved it. We were a group of 4 and got seated very quickly. Our server, Darryl, was great and took very good care of us. The atmosphere was fun and festive. We were there for Sunday Brunch and the food was a wide variety and very tasty. All in all it was a great brunch experience. It was just a bit on the pricey side, but not all that bad.

My date and I have been coming to Founding Farmers regularly over the past couple of weeks, and every visit is made better thanks to Alyssa and John behind the bar. They always greet us warmly, make thoughtful recommendations on all the Happy Hour specials, and their attentiveness really stands out. Both are personable, professional, and make you feel like a valued guest every time. The consistency of their service keeps us coming back. Huge shoutout to Alyssa and John for creating such a great experience at the bar!

I ordered the carrot cake and it blew me away! It was super moist, soft, and full of flavor in every bite. The sweetness of the carrots blended perfectly with the warm spices, making it so comforting and delicious. Honestly, I couldn’t stop eating it—it’s the kind of cake you immediately want another slice of. Truly one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had!

Wonderful authentic southern american comfort food! Perfect location with parking validation and a metro stop attached to the shopping center. Our server, Michael, was so friendly and helpful; the menu was extensive and very easy to order from. Have been here several times and will definitely come back- a great destination pre/post flight.

When I asked a friend where to eat in the area, Founding Farmers was top of the list for their brunch, with the warning to eat nothing before and plan not to eat for at least a day after, because you will be stuffed with the delicious food. And it was true! The brunch buffet had so many good things, from fried chicken to bacon on a stick to sticky sweet cinnamon rolls and soft serve ice cream and eggs and more, so many choices. Highly recommend coming and enjoying everything, and can't wait to come back

Red's Table is a charming eatery that offers picturesque lake views and a blend of rustic and contemporary design elements. Situated in the South Lakes Plaza, right next to Cafesano, this restaurant serves up an American menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. Whether you stop by for a Happy Hour drink in the early afternoon or indulge in lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch, Red's Table has something delicious to offer.
We hosted a Bridal Shower in the private room and couldn't be more pleased! Our guests were greeted with sparkling wine by our private server, Bailey. The room was set up and ready for us when we arrived to decorate. We were able to bring in our own flowers and balloon arch. The guests ordered straight from the menu which ensured everyone got just what they'd like! It was a breeze to work with Ryan setting up the date, time, etc. We will be back to enjoy a meal and a view of Lake Thoreau.

We are locals & frequent Red's Table. I had the strawberry salad & added shrimp. My friend had the sweet potatoes salad & added chicken. Both dishes were delicious as expected at this restaurant. We had ice teas. It lovely weather & we enjoyed the patio seating. Lake Thoreau was showcasing wonderful flora & fauna. Luckily the gas powered trimmers in the neighboring condo complex were out near the end of our lunch (noise of course out of the control of the restaurant). Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was the dessert 🍨 we shared. The strawberry 🍓 bread pudding which sounded nice however it was discombobulated in execution. This dessert came out covered with whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate sauce with a cherry on top. Looked like a kids experimented with it. The remaining third was the bread pudding with some strawberries we think. Suggestion to emphasis the strawberry theme - have a strawberry on top on the whipped cream instead of a cherry & strawberry instead of chocolate sauce. Anyway, it was weird 😵

We went here after our monthly community outreach event and it was a great treat for our good works! The service, and food were both good. The staff was friendly as we kept them on their toes by asking crazy questions like if the chicken & waffles were vegan and if they had a to go box that would fit the tea kettle for me to take home!lol I was a little hesitant about the lemon and ricotta in the waffles but hands down some of the best waffles that I've ever had. In fact, I got an extra order to go! The rest of my party order margarita and martini flights and they could barely finish them. I think a couple did not as they were feeling them right away! So, shout out to good alcohol content in their drinks and this serves as warming for light weight drinkers lol Check them out!

Great location and friendly service, but food was underwhelming. We went there for brunch to celebrate a birthday and sat outside on the patio. The view was really good and the weather was nice. The server was really friendly and nice. We got coffee to start off with, but it was cold—even after asking for hot coffee during the refill. For appetizers, we got goat cheese fritters and they were really good. In the main course, among other things, we got the Spring Onion Fonduta pasta and a mushroom oats burger. The pasta was really bad—no taste at all and hard to even eat. The burger was ok—good patty but nothing else in the burger in terms of sauce or add-ons. The fries with the burger were not crunchy and had no seasoning. The banana split was ok. The place was really nice. I just wish the food was good too.

A Dream Wedding Celebration at Red Table! My husband and I recently had the immense pleasure of hosting our intimate wedding ceremony and reception (around 25 guests) at Red Table, one of our absolute favorite date night spots – and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect day! From the very beginning, coordinating with the owner and restaurant management team was an absolute breeze. They were incredibly welcoming and offered heartfelt congratulations and encouragement right away, clearly outlining the simple steps involved in planning our event. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality extended to all of our guests. Every single person commented on how warm and welcoming the entire Red Table team was, making them feel truly celebrated and well-cared for. And of course, the food was, as always, exceptional! The buffet offered generous portions and was incredibly well-priced. We honestly cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Red Table. They transformed our special day into a truly unforgettable celebration. We are so grateful for their outstanding service and delicious food, and we eagerly look forward to utilizing their wonderful venue again for future milestone occasions – perhaps a baby shower in the not-too-distant future! If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, outstanding hospitality, and the ability to host special events, look no further than Red Table!

I’d give Reds Table a solid 4 stars. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The décor was stylish and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere that paired well with the waterfront views. Our waiter was fantastic—warm, attentive, and personable. He made us feel right at home, and I was impressed when he took all of our orders without writing anything down and got everything exactly right. The food itself was tasty and nicely presented, with good flavor combinations that felt fresh and well-prepared. That said, the portion sizes could have been more generous, as we left feeling like we could have eaten a bit more. The biggest drawback for me was the noise level—it was quite loud, which made it harder to have a relaxed conversation at the table. Still, between the great service, appealing décor, and quality food, Reds Table is definitely worth visiting. With just a bit more attention to portion size and noise control, it could easily be a 5-star experience.

Chef driven scratch kitchen with a changing food and drink menu for each season of the year. Well knowledgeable staff. Very strong community support. A lot of long term clientele regulars. I have seen one table of business men and women, another table early people in their early 20’s, and a table of local families dining at Rad’s Table for dinner and lunch. This place is a true gem in Reston VA. with a mixture of people from all walks of life enjoying their experience from a truly scratch chef driven kitchen. Wine list that will make you fall in love with wine all over again. A view of the lake with a patio that is open or enclosed that will let you enjoy the view year round. I have lived in Honolulu, Atlanta, California and after all that travel I found a place that I and others can finally call home. Every time I go Reds Table in Reston Va. something is always new on the food , drink, and wine menu. Reds Table has a great GM and owner that truly cares about their guests and community. Always engaging with guest and finding different ways to help donate money and time to all organizations.

Makers Union is an upscale gastropub located in the burgeoning Metropolitan Park of Amazon. The pub offers a variety of comfort foods, with a bustling brunch featuring dishes like Maryland crab cake Benedict, mixed berry pancakes, and cornflake-crusted French toast. In addition to their regular menu items such as burgers, salads, chicken tenders, and nachos, Makers Union also serves non-alcoholic birthday nerds slushees alongside alcoholic versions with vodka.
Before we get into the food let me just talk about Jack M our waiter. He was awesome! He was a great addition to a great meal. Jack made great suggestions and we accepted each one willingly. He had knowledge about the items we order and just great conversation. If you go look for Jack!!! He will make the meal 20% better. Now for my meal, every dish from the appetizers to the dessert were excellent, the lamb lollipops were delicious. I needed the dinner portion, but settled for the appetizer, then the wings were fried to perfection. Don’t asked me why, but I offered the chicken in waffle and ended up with a table full of chicken. But i didn’t complain because each chicken had a different taste! Then to top it off with the bread pudding had me rolling out the seat!!! Yes, I highly suggest this restaurant and Pythia location.

This was our first visit to Makers Union. Just two of us on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was nice, and service team was attentive but sometimes a little too attentive. The food was delicious, they gave generous portions of salmon and ham! I had the salmon poke bowl and my husband had ham and eggs, we shared an appetizer of spinach and artichokes and sparkling water and my husband had mimosas. Overall it was a bit pricey but enjoyed the food in a nice restaurant and we plan to return.

After flying in from London, I was absolutely starving and wanted to find some good food close to the hotel. I decided to come to Makers Union as the menu online appealed to me, especially when I saw the chicken and waffles. A friendly lady sat me down at my booth, and I looked over the menu to decide what to have. I was then greeted by one of the best servers I’ve had in a long while (Shoutout to you Reef), who took my order with so much energy and charisma, which made me smile and gave the best first impressions for the rest of my experience. Like I saw on the menu, I went for the chicken and waffles, to which Reef warned me that most people are unable to finish it in one sitting…well after my flight I was up for the challenge. Before receiving my meal, I went for the 20oz cider, which was really good in itself. Once I got my main, I was absolutely shocked at the sheer size of the plate, and could definitely see what Reef meant. Well, I can proudly say I beat even the locals at their own game, as I finished the whole thing, leaving just bone and the batter. The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious, and they went so well together despite family at home telling me I was crazy to mix the two. After my main, I decided to have my first ever key lime pie too, which I was told was made in house. This was extremely delicious and sweet, but my gosh I regretted eating so much haha. All in all, my experience at makers union was fantastic! The food was amazing, the service was beyond perfect, and the atmosphere was nice. I also loved my chat with Reef. Will definitely be back in the future!

This place has a lot of potential. We received horrible service. After speaking with the manager about uncooked or overcooked food, our waitress apologized saying another table upset her. We were given fresh food but it was a huge inconvenience. I don't think they were ready for a crowd. I would recommend the wings and chicken & waffle. Everything else could use work.

Highly impressed with their appetizers as well as their sides and meals. The flavors were wonderful abd distinctive in every dish. Their wings were yummy, the calamari amazing, and the pretzel was good and moist ecen when not hot. The asparagus was perfectly grilled. The Brussel sprouts were a bit charred, but still very flavorful and yummy. The plates were well dressed, I forgot to take a picture right away as the food looked and smelled so good. The service was a great pace given happy hour crowd being drastically large. This is a good location for a dinner, event, or sports bar drop in. However, the mixed drink I had was jot the best and was very watered down. The wine I tried was the Chardonnay and it was flat, smooth, and tasteless. So I would not revommend if you are looking for a place with great happy hour drinks list. This is not to say that the bar couldnt make something better if asked. Definitly a place that I would want to visit again.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is a quick-service restaurant that serves Mexican cuisine. They provide a variety of options, allowing customers to customize their own burritos, tacos, and bowls. Yo whoever prepared my online order around 2pm today, bless your heart, hope your days, your weeks, your months, and your years are great! Thank you. Burrito as big as a fat newborn, and a bowl as heavy as yo mama. Prob the biggest ones I’ve had, remind me of old chipotle when I used to get it every week during college. A historical day indeed. Chipotle always tasty, but it’s the portion that got internet attention lately. Manager and team if you read this - thank you, I’m sure plenty of loyal customer will come to this store.

Terrible service and attitudes from the women at the counter. And of course they got my order wrong because they’re rushing me out and there’s only 2 people in line behind me which were apparently their friends they wanted to chat with.

Not only was i cheated out of a true portion of meat. It was served by two Hispanic ladies older in age and I'm sure more experienced that were clearly upset at something, while two what seemed to be teenage Caucasian girls accepted the money and ran the cashier. This looked totally uncool. I could see the distraction in their face and it showed in the quality of service i received. I'm not sure who was more unhappy, me, the two Hispanic ladies or the young ladies working the money

Well I was not super impressed. I paid $3+ dollars for queso and they didn’t include it in our order. The food was fine, minus my missing queso. The entire place feels pretty overpriced, like $4.50 for a bottle of coke that you can get at a grocery store for half the price. $3+ to add guacamole. Like every is an expensive add on. This is more of a problem with Chipotle as an establishment and not necessarily just this store.

Store reuses day old product I came in a 1030 this morning and was served day old meat and rice in my bowl The meat was overcooked (reheated) and the rice was clumpy (refrigerated and reheated). This store doesn't follow company policy of good handling. Skip this store and head to another.

I entered the store because the door was open, not realizing it was still 10 minutes before opening. I apologized and stepped out immediately, but the staff member looked at me with a condescending expression, as if I had done something foolish. When I returned after the store had officially opened, she ignored me completely—even when I tried to speak to her, she turned her head away with an annoyed expression. It’s hard to believe that someone so rude can represent Chipotle. I hope you review your customer service standards carefully and take steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again. This experience has left me frustrated for days—this was truly the worst service I’ve encountered.

Clean and kind employees. You get what you expect from Chipotle. Some chipotles are little cheap on food amount but this location is not like them. I would definitely stop by again if ai am around here. I was here on lunch time and I didn’t wait on the line at all. If you are rush and want to eat something very quick, this location is good place for you. 5 stars.

This has to be one of the worst chipotles in the area. Almost forgot that and went back here, and was unpleasantly reminded — Ingredients running low down to the dregs turning cold and stale with no refill in sight, indifferent overworked and short handed staff, unclean atmosphere. Avoid this one

Matchbox in Reston is a vibrant New American chain known for its wood-fired pizzas and bistro-style dishes. The industrial-chic setting adds to the high-energy atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both casual dining and after-work gatherings. The menu features crowd-pleasers like Mini Burgers, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Fire & Smoke Pizza, and Prosciutto & Black Mission Fig Pizza. Additionally, the restaurant offers gluten-free options and can accommodate modifications for dietary preferences.
Great service from Janet, she is friendly and made our experience memorable. Valentina did excellent as a server and kept us satisfied with the food. Thomas was also very friendly and attentive. . The food was real good and big portions. Thank you Janet!!!!

It was rather early when we came for dinner, before 6pm so it was not busy at all. Yet we waited a bit for drinks and food to come. The spin dip came only minutes before the entrees and wasn’t hot anymore so this suggests it was waiting to be grabbed.. refilling water took a long time. However the worst was the fish and chips. The fish was not fresh. We had to wait until the server came to check in which was not immediate, and then after a long wait we were able to exchange the entree and take most of it home. For the price point, an experience like this nearly drives you to other places in the vicinity. The cocktails were great and so was the pizza; the restaurant feels warm and cozy. So I can only recommend this place for drinks and pizza.

The crispy shrimp tacos are not easy to eat. I had to take a bite of the tacos without the fried shrimp, then eat the shrimp afterward. It wasn’t fun, but it was doable. The side of beans was also flavorless. I recommend checking your bill against the menu. Lastly, if you're in a large group, there’s a required gratuity (which makes sense). However, the suggested tip afterward is wild. One of my coworkers added $10 on top of the 18–20% required tip because she didn’t want to seem like an asshole. My manager did the same. I was one of the few who asked if the gratuity was already included to avoid overtipping. Absolutely wild.

The food was good I didn’t like the grits bc it was cooked properly n the peach mimosa tasted like beer. The manager came over and explained that she was getting things right at this location she only been there for 3 days. The strawberry lemon drops were good the blueberry lemon pancakes were delicious omg tasty. The hot and sweet pizza was also delicious we will definitely be back. We also had an amazing waitress

Very upscale and beautiful restaurant. Had breakfast Saturday morning, it was very quiet. Scrabbled eggs were cooked perfectly, moist fluffy delicious. It seems like only the highest ingredients are used in their foods. They easily accommodated special requests.

It was not bad. The pizza was good the steak not the best. First time trying it and will give it another try. My husband ended up just sharing my pizza with me instead of eating the steak but my dogs enjoyed it so it all worked out. The pasta is ok. It was a group of us and it was a hit and a miss. I will go back for the pizza.

They were very busy due to a concert outside. Our server Janet was handling a lot of tables at once. But she handled our table with a great attitude. The happy hour pizza was delicious and the wine was a reasonable price. We will come back. Thank you Janet

Brazilian restaurant
Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse is a well-known upscale chain offering a traditional Brazilian churrasco experience. With multiple global locations, it provides an authentic dining experience with a diverse range of high-quality meats cooked over an open flame and expertly served tableside by skilled gauchos. In addition to the meat offerings, the restaurant boasts an expansive salad bar featuring fresh vegetables, cheeses, and charcuterie.
First of all, Jose Aguilar was bringing the Picanha and other perfect cuts with the good fun to the table. Mattox our server was quite pleasant and all around good vibes, always coming by and checking for our every dining need 😎 Caleb was helping out with the whole experience and Hanny made it feel like the whole experience came together. Our table was so happy with the service from each individual. The food was, of course, amazing! And the atmosphere… cmon if you don’t have a caipirinha in your hand like us, you aren’t having a good time at Fogo lol The cachaça drinks were fab and amazing. Thanks Gogo for another amazing night.

We recently hosted a family event in the back room at Fogo de Chão, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations, the food was incredible, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our last-minute changes were handled smoothly, and they made sure every detail was just right. It was so special to see our family together, enjoying themselves and celebrating my sister’s baby shower. A huge thank you to the entire team at Fogo de Chão for helping us create such a memorable day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Our server, Gaya, was fantastic! She made our experience memorable with her attentive and friendly service. The food was as expected. I rated it 4 stars because the salad bar was a bit boring never thing looked the same and didn't seem fresh. Probably could have used some better lighting. The cuts of meat though were terrific! The servers brought the food out continuously and I don't think there was a moment when our plates did not have food in them. The cocktail I had was sub par - I don't care what version of Old Fashioned you serve but it must had a single block or ball of ice. It bears repeating that the service was great! The close at 9 on a Sunday evening but they were meeting folks even at 8:40pm. It's fairly quiet here. The patrons were in casual and formal attire - so don't worry too much about what you are wearing. This was the Reston location - with many options for food. But this restaurant is worth it for a special occasion.

I took my wife there for her birthday. The service was impeccable, the food was great, and the environment is awesome. The parking is free during the weekend and holidays. That makes the access to the restaurant easier and free.

Had an amazing dinner at Fogo de Chão Reston! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The market table was fresh and full of delicious options, but the stars of the night were definitely the meats — the picanha was perfect, the lamb was juicy, and everything was packed with flavor. Drinks were great, service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere felt modern and upscale without being pretentious. Yes, it’s a premium price, but the overall experience was totally worth it. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you to Hanny for the wonderful coffee!

Had an awesome time at Fogo de Chão Reston! Our server Yonis was super friendly, and José Aguilar killed it with the picanha and pork belly — so good. Loved the Golden Hour Caipirinha too! The Crème Brûlée was amazing. Big thanks to Stephanie and the other managers for checking in and making sure everything was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
NOVA Wild, a 30-acre non-profit zoo in Reston, has reopened with new management and exciting updates. The grand opening features The Great Migration light show with 800,000 LED lights and animal and habitat sculptures along a mile of trails. Visitors can enjoy interactive exhibits like animal feeding, wagon rides, pony rides, and encounters with more than 200 animals including lemurs, llamas, kangaroos, and pygmy goats.
Very fun experience! The drive-through safari was awesome (albeit a little scary to have a bisons head inside my car!). The food buckets are expensive, and they go fast ($20 a bucket; we went through 2 incredibly fast, should have gotten 4). The zoo itself was quant, and filled with very interesting creatures. Of course, the obvious comparison to the National Zoo, only a bit up the road, does come to mind. Though, the drive through safari and overall quiet manor of this attraction was worth it!

amazing little zoo!! loved the owls, cheetahs, bison and butterflies. i especially loved being able to feed the safari animals. it won't take up more than a few hours of your time - it's really great for small kids. it was a huge blast for being a fairly small place. just a short distance from dulles too. worth the cost! check it out!!

I am very happy to have gone to the zoo. You can go on a field trip have a picnic. Drive through the safari. Get up and close to the animals. 30 acres of wilderness where you can have a birthday party and unique experiences. I have never enjoyed myself more than my visit to Nova Zoo and they have a light show.

What a fun experience! We had the best day with the capybaras and sloths! We were able to feed them and pet them as well. Sidney, our guide, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She was so patient with our little boys. I highly recommend NOVA Wild. The rest of the complex and the drive thru was also enjoyable. We will be back!

Lots of nice animals! Super fun to feed the animals, but $20 for the medium-ish bucket of food seems like a bit much. Staff are very friendly. Signage is very clear. The actual entry fee is very reasonable for the experience at $21 per adult.

What an incredible adventure at NOVA Wild. We had an absolute blast — the variety of animals was really impressive. We really were struck by how happy and well cared for the zoo’s residents were. This is a far better display than the Smithsonian National Zoo. Will definitely come back with our friends and family who come to visit.

My visit here was such an amazing experience!! It was a unique and interactive adventure with the animals, and I am glad i got to do both the zoo and safari. The manager John, as well as staff members Marilyn and Sydney were all extremely kind and happy to share their knowledge when I spoke with them. Very worthwhile way to spend a day!!

I am so impressed with this establishment. The quality of the husbandry is outstanding and the evidence of it radiates from the animals in the form of happiness and a sense of safety. It was so fun to interact with the “domestic” animals and the ones that are wild. You can tell the that the people pour a lot of love and care into these animals. It’s a wonderful place and I’ll be visiting again. I cannot wait to see how it grows.

Lake Anne Plaza-Main Parking lot

Business center
Lake Anne Plaza, located in Reston, Virginia, is a vibrant village center that offers a variety of attractions for both locals and visitors. The plaza features a weekly seasonal farmers market, boutique shops, and popular gathering spots such as Cafe Montmartre and Lake Anne Coffee House. During the summer months, the area hosts festivals like the Cardboard Boat Regatta and Reston Pride, along with opportunities to rent pedal boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards on the 17-acre lake.
This should be renamed just to 'Lake Anne Plaza' (as of Sep. 2024, it is one of two places Google labels as the Lake Anne Parking Lot). The Lake Anne Plaza is artsy, a bit quirky, and definitely one of a kind. The Plaza and community center host Reston events throughout the year, so depending on when you go it can be quiet and tranquil or packed with many vendors and guests alike. Favorites within the Plaza include the used book store and the art gallery (near the end of the boardwalk), but I have yet to enter each and every store. On this quiet day, there were a number of artists around the area. Even with cloudy weather, the views from the lake and around the area to the pedestrian bridge (right from the main boardwalk) were still breathtaking.

Lake Anne plaza is the historic “heart and soul” of Reston, Virginia.Lake Anne is a mixed use development, residential, commercial shops, man made lake, trails and restaurants. There is also a museum dedicated to Reston’s history. There is also the Van Gogh Bridge which is set along a walking path through lake Anne Plaza.

It’s a beautiful but neglected gem tucked away in the overgrown foliage of Reston. I hadn’t been here for 12 years and had forgotten all about it so when I returned I did feel sad about it’s present condition from old and charming to old, charming but struggling… I think this place deserves to be revived for both its beauty and historical significance.
Bhavin S — Google review
I love Lake Anne Plaza! There's so much to do here and there are many festivals held here, such as the Reston Multicultural Festival in late September and the PRIDE Festival in June. You can have coffee and pastries here at the coffee shop, relax while gazing at the beautiful geyser (which is sometimes lit up in colorful lights), rent a boat, grab lunch or dinner at one of many other restaurants, and walk along the Green Trail to the nearby Van Gogh Bridge. There are also rock, brick, and metal sculptures along the way to keep your mind busy. You can visit the cat vet, the barber shop, the Reston Museum, and many more shops! And don't forget that your local Reston Community Center is here too.

Water & Amusement Parks
Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole is a Western-themed water park located in Reston, VA. It features a variety of slides, flumes, and a lazy river that cater to children in elementary school as well as adults. The park is open during the warmer months and offers additional attractions such as a carousel and paddle boats. Visitors can expect attentive lifeguards, ample parking, and reasonable pricing.
Definitely a fun place to go with your family and we had so much fun! Pros: You can skip the line by paying for your tickets online. You can bring your own food! This saved us a money because I have picky but always hungry eaters 😂 Locker rooms and pools were very clean. Water slides, lazy river, splash pads all fun and spacious. Cons:Pool size and need more shady areas. I like that the pool is kid friendly but I have a tall family. (Husband 6'4,11yr old 5'0,17 yr 5'8, & 7yr old 4'0) I wish they had a pool that was 4ft to 6ft for adults and teens only. A paper bracelet to indicate they were allowed in that pool.

I saw this place on Instagram and decided let’s take a road trip boy am I glad we did first of all the park open on time so at tentative a girl even tried to get in with a smoking pipe and the young man at the door caught it and then she still tried to sneak in, and they kindly came up in line and asked her to remove it and was nice about it There were a lot of kids working at the park and they all were kind had no attitude and was helping everyone we stayed from 11 till to six and we never do that. My son said he had the time of his life and the fact that you can bring your own food made it even great. We were able to enjoy our food and purchase what we wanted it was affordable for families. I will recommend this park to all my friends and we would definitely take the drive again. The only issue I had while I was there a lot of ants as we sit they were crawling up my legs and a lot of the white chairs were broken, but we managed to find two that weren’t.

Was choosing between this and another one in Arlington thru NOVA parks and rec…this one was 2$ more BUT let’s you bring your own food and bev in! I feel like that’s such a rarity these days. We got there about 45 mins after opening, had to park a little further back but I didn’t think it was overly busy/crowded. I did buy my tickets online just because it seemed like the best idea based on other reviews. Staff was great! I loved how many lifeguards were on deck. Food is pricey there - as it usually is in places like that. I would recommend either bringing your own sort of shade or getting there early because it did seem to fill quickly especially under the umbrellas. Both of my kids had the best day, there was always something for them to do. Anything that had a line, staff moved thru efficiently. Experience definitely exceeded expectation!
Emaleigh R — Google review
The Reston water mine park is good and fairly clean. Staff are fine to good. It’s better to go on weekdays (check their website or call) because hot summer weekends can be very crowded. Some parts of the place need renovation.

Fun place to go with your family. My family and I had so much fun the few issues we had problems with 1. getting tickets the line was very long and they had one person working for some minutes until someone else came to help. So to avoid that long wait try and order the tickets online. 2. We could not get any chair or table to rest our things because they were all occupied. We had to bring back our stuff to the car and leave them there. If you bring your our chairs then you won't have that problem. Those are the few things you have to put in consideration when going there, but outside of that the place is fun. Theres alot of parking space available👍
Carline A — Google review
A beautiful place I recommend it 100% The staff is very friendly and above all very organized. It is most convenient to buy tickets online.

Took our granddaughters today. We had a wonderful time. Ticket price are very reasonable for so many options of water play. Lazy River was great, clean, options to purchase food or bring your own. I was most impressed with the lifeguards, who carefully patrol every swimmer young and old. They were impressive! I was so grateful for two very nice guards who saw I needed a bit of help getting out of the water. So nice. Would recommend renting space under an umbrella canopy on sunny days which you need to do ahead of time. Will definitely bring our grandchildren back. Great family place for all!
Beth H — Google review
We ended up going to the Water Mine and really liked it. We knew its not Volcano Bay but was still good for something local. 🤔*TOP TIPS*: ~Buy tickets online and ~Get there before it opens. ⛱️This allowed choice picking of shaded seating. 🌭Buying food here is on the pricey side, but you can bring your own food (not allowed at other parks). ⌛️When we went, they didn’t have breaks until 12.50 and they were 5-10 minutes max. 🚗: Parking is easy if you get here early enough.

Cafe Montmartre is a vibrant bistro located in Lake Anne Plaza, offering a delightful mix of French and Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant's colorful and airy quarters provide a lively ambiance, with the added option of dining on the outdoor patio that overlooks the scenic lake. Diners can indulge in an array of dishes ranging from classic French delicacies like escargots in garlic butter and quiche Lorraine to Vietnamese delights such as banh mi sandwiches and Viet chicken wings.
Escargot appetizer had generous amount of snails with a perfect mushroom sauce to dip the bread. Mussels moulinaire with linguini had fresh tender sweet mussels over al dente pasta. And the creme brulee was rich and fabulous with a hard shell. Atmosphere crisp. modern and made me feel like a cafe in Montmartre.

Fantastic pizza! We loved it! We got 2 pizzas, fries, and garlic knots. The pizza itself had fantastic crusts, delicious toppings, and the sauce hit the right spot. The garlic knots were also delicious! I was happy to have leftovers for the next few days. If you’re looking for a local pizza den would highly recommend this joint to you.

I have the pleasure of living close to this Paisanos, and I must say, the experience is always fantastic. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we have everything we need. Corey, in particular, stood out with his exceptional service. He is friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and goes above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time there. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for outstanding service!

Man, I could eat Paisano’s pizza every day and never get tired of it. The crust? Perfect crispy on the outside, chewy inside, with just the right amount of char. The sauce is legit, not too sweet, not too bland, and they don’t skimp on the fresh mozzarella. The pepperoni cups up nice and crispy, and even their basic cheese slice is next-level. The vibe is great too no pretentious stuff, just solid pizza, cold beer, and friendly people. Takeout’s always ready fast, and the slices are still somehow piping hot when I get home. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re missing out. **Five stars, zero complaints.

Love this Paisano establishment! The supreme is my favorite. The manager is also always super nice!
Alex — Google review
This Paisano’s is by far my favorite in the area. I grew up in the 90s watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so naturally pizza has been my all time favorite food. In terms of taste, I find paisano’s surprisingly delicious, especially given the price to quality ratio. They use just enough pizza sauce , the cheese doesn’t fall off too much and the crust is tier 1. It is definitely a better taste than most commercial chain pizza places, and i would give them a slight edge over Papa John’s. I’ve been eating papa j since the 90s as well so there is a bit nostalgia with them, but paisano’s price point edges them out. Finally at this specific location, it is tucked into a wonderful area , the staff has been kind as I’ve visited over 20 times at this point , and the place is clean. For $20, you can get two large 1 topping pizzas. 21 to be exact actually. Overall I don’t think you can go wrong with this location

Hamburger restaurant
The Capital Burger is an outpost of a high-end steakhouse chain that provides classic American cuisine in a sophisticated and refined atmosphere. Located at 11853 Market St, Reston, VA 20190, this burger joint offers a menu featuring breakfast sandwiches, warm pretzels, ribeye sandwiches, and their signature burgers topped with options like wild mushrooms, bacon, and blue cheese. The restaurant also caters to gluten-free diners with convenient and delicious options.
I just had a wonderful late night dining experience at The Capital Burger. I am staying at the hotel, and it was very conveniently located, plus they are open late. The atmosphere was relatively chill, and the restaurant itself was not particularly full, although the bar area was hopping. The space was well lighted and immaculately clean. My server, Ariana, was absolutely lovely, and her service was attentive and friendly. She made sure that my water glass was full and that I had refills on my Diet Coke. You can tell that she takes pride in her work, that she is a "people person," and that she enjoys her job. The manager stopped by my table a couple of times to check in, and he was friendly, professional and conversational. I was very happy with my order, which was a bacon cheeseburger with a side of brussels sprouts (in lieu of fries) and a Belgium chocolate mousse for dessert. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the quality of the meat as well as the accoutrements was high. Everything was delicious, fresh, nicely presented. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly, and I will certainly be back.

Capital Burger is an outstanding spot that delivers on every level—food, atmosphere, and service. I especially love their vegetarian burger, which is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced in flavor and texture, it’s a dish I keep coming back for. Their fresh lemonade pairs beautifully with it, making the meal even more enjoyable. Another detail that sets them apart is their complimentary pickles—absolutely delicious and a small touch that makes a big difference. The warm atmosphere and attentive staff make each visit a pleasure. Capital Burger has become one of my go-to places, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Really great burger restaurant located in the Hyatt Hotel. They serve flavored pickles for the table instead of bread which is a nice touch. Smoked gouda fries are amazing. Peppers were good and it was a large appetizer with plenty for a table. Chicken sandwich was okay, a little on the thin side so some parts were more crunchy than actual chicken. Atmosphere is nice but the staff sat us next to another occupied table, actually three tables in a row were all seated right next to each other, which I thought was weird since there was plenty of room elsewhere. Right behind us was an entire row of empty tables, so being unnecessarily crowded together was a little odd. The service was fantastic and overall it was a pleasant experience.

Capital Burger inside the Hyatt was wonderful! I was tempted by the salmon salad, but thought, Im at a burger place -- and they offered gluten free buns. So, I went with the classic burger. The burger was so tasty! The bun was soft and didn't fall apart like some gf buns. THE PICKLES! If you like pickles, the house pickles are amazing. They were the second reason I went with the classic burger. I enjoyed a side salad, but my CEO who is also gf, said her sweet potato fries were fried separate - so no cross contamination - and she noted that meant they were fried in beef tallow. For those of you who love beef tallow, it could be a reason to try capital burger. Our drinks were excellent too - and so was our service. All-in-all, it was a great meal!

★★★★★ | A Delicious Gem in the Heart of Reston What a pleasant surprise! Our visit to The Capital Burger in Reston turned into one of those unexpectedly great days — the kind you wish you could bottle up. From the moment we walked in, the service was on point. Shoutout to Veronica, our waitress — she was kind, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs. That kind of hospitality is rare these days, and it really elevated the whole experience. Now let’s talk food: the burger was absolutely delicious, juicy and cooked to perfection. But what blew us away? The veggie burger — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Rich in flavor, well-balanced, and satisfying in a way most veggie options aren’t. Even the kids were impressed, and that’s saying something. The atmosphere was classy yet welcoming — perfect for families, friends, or even a casual date. And the best part? The location. After lunch, we didn’t just head home — we stuck around. The area is packed with fun: there’s space for kids to run around, play soccer, even splash in the pool if you’re staying nearby. You can really make a whole afternoon of it. This wasn’t just a meal, it was a mini getaway. We’ll definitely be back.

Ribeye burger was top notch. Cooked medium to perfection. The burger was a 8/10 pretty good as well. Calamari had way too many jalapeños and peppers. It overwhelmed the Calamari which was actually good.

Our food was delicious. We both had burgers cooked perfectly and super juicy. My husband loved the pickles. If we're ever on that side of town again, we're definitely coming back.

Dined last night as first time guests. Decided to leave this review because our server, Matthew, was terrific! He is reason enough to return. The rest of our service to include the manager "touching the table" was good, too. Food came out fast and hot and drinks were quickly replenished. Okay, we knew that burgers would cost around $30. When you compare our meals and overall experience against "regular" burger places, there's no comparison. Dine here.

Day 4

Keep it simple
For day 4, these 2 places should be enough to fill your day with something exciting to do in Reston. Start the day with Lake Fairfax Park and make your way through the city to get to Kalypso's Sports Tavern. This should take about 7 hours of your day.

Lake Fairfax Park, nestled in Reston, Virginia, is a versatile destination offering a wide range of activities for visitors. The park features a playground, swimming pool, and picnic area making it an ideal spot for families to enjoy outdoor fun. Adventure enthusiasts can explore over 12 miles of biking trails that wind through the hilly terrain. I visited Lake Fairfax Park today and was captivated by its serene beauty and peaceful ambiance. The shimmering lake, surrounded by lush greenery, created a perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. Families were enjoying picnics, trails buzzed with laughter, and the air felt refreshingly clean. The park’s natural charm and well-maintained spaces made it feel like a hidden gem. It’s a perfect escape from the city, where nature and joy come together effortlessly.

This county park offers many amenities including picnic pavilions, boat rentals, family water park, multiple restrooms, snack bar, and ample parking. However the county maintenance department does not keep the park clean, including the trash in the lake itself, as noted in the photos taken during a recent visit.

I visited this place in Early February when the lake was frozen, no activities, the place looked like the one from a thriller hollywood movie. But very adventurous, I saw some campers in camping vans and very very few people almost none, few cars parked here and there but I am sure that this place would be full of life from spring onwards till fall end that's for sure..if you want to go and be with yourself, reorganize your thoughts you can go in winter too..its very peaceful here... check out the videos and photos I posted..

Lake Fairfax Park is a perfect spot for a fun day out! We had a great time paddle boating on the lake, enjoyed the BBQ areas with plenty of space for gatherings, and the swimming pool was a big hit. A wonderful place to relax, explore, and make memories with family and friends.

Kalypsos Sports Tavern offers a variety of Mediterranean dishes, perfect for dog-owners. The restaurant overlooks the water and has a full bar. It's a great place to enjoy dinner with friends or family.
The service is great. They take great care in food prep. If you love lamb they do it right. And they're constantly making the menu better and better. And what's better than great food and great service on the patio overlooking Lake Anne?

From planning to the night of our event, Kalypsos was the perfect venue. The staff was so thoughtful and attentive and they made our 25th reunion very special. The food and drinks were great. I highly recommend them for your event, whether a special dinner or a large party. Lester was our main POC and he was so easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank you! We hope to be back soon.

Had a pleasant dinner here last weekend. The food was solid - my salmon was cooked well and my partner enjoyed their pasta dish. Prices were reasonable for what you get. The real highlight is definitely their patio seating. It's well-maintained and offers a relaxing view of the lake, especially nice around sunset. The scenery adds something special to the dining experience that you can't get at most places in town. Service was friendly and efficient. Special mention to Moe and Cara behind the bar - they were so sweet, attentive, and mixed great drinks without any fuss. He recommended a perfect wine pairing for my meal and checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall a good spot for a casual dinner or drinks with friends. Nothing overly fancy or extraordinary, but definitely worth a visit, especially if you can snag a table on the patio to enjoy the lake views.

My husband and I had a great time here with our toddler. We sat on the water in a shaded area, and had lots of excellent menu options at reasonable prices. The food was good and the service was kind & responsive. We loved that the manager kept everyone working as a team and made sure no table needed anything. Will definitely be back.

Me personally, it was my very first time eating here. The staff is so so nice, especially our waitress, Candan, and Mo. They were so incredibly nice and welcoming. On the menu, the Grilled Shrimp is personally really good. The dish comes with Shrimp, asparagus, and really good seasoned rice. Honestly a 11/10 for everything. The food is a bit pricey, but its worth it because of how good and flavorful it is. Would come again! :)

We went a couple weeks ago. Vibe is 10/10. Lovely outdoor patio, dog friendly outside, nice beach-side feel. Unfortunately service was awful and food was not great. We ordered a beer and pizza on a 95 degree day. The waiter took our order, brought my beer and then never returned. Someone else brought our food, someone else brought our check. Our water glasses sat empty and my beer was long gone, no refills brought for water...on a 95 degree day. Like how? 🤣 I would have gotten another beer, but the opportunity never came. No one asked. No one even walked by! If my water sits empty, and I'm not asked if I want another beer...tip will always be $0. It's no wonder this place had only 10% of their outdoor tables full- because the service is absolutely awful. If the service improved, there's no reason this place won't be packed on a nice day even with mid level food.

Not sure how this place isn’t well over 4 stars, but they always say the best local places are in the high 3s. We recently moved here and came after it was recommended. The food was great- I love the idea of Greek food at a sports bar. The outdoor seating along the lake is awesome and the staff were super friendly. Gustavo and Moe were excellent. We will definitely be back for trivia and a bev on the water.
Nicole H — Google review
Hard pass. If you like waiting 20 minutes to be asked if you want a drink and then wait another 20 minutes to receive your warm beer. This is the place for you. Make sure to check your warm beer for floaters. The taps are not clean all the time. The food is ok but it’s definitely not good. It’s a shame because I tried really hard to like place. It’s a nice location. The inside is very confused. On one side it’s a dive bar and on the other side of the stage you have “fine dining” where the upholstery is coming off. Anyone that is rating this place any higher than 1 star probably only went once and lie to themselves about other things in their life. This place is a punchline in our house. “We don’t need to go to Kalypso’s we have warm beer and a 30 inch TV in the garage!” I question The Who that rated this place so well. I won’t be fooled again. This place sucks and I’m shocked I haven’t gotten really sick after eating here. I’m done rolling the dice. If a health inspector sees this, please help us get a real restaurant here. This place needs to be closed.

Cafe
Lake Anne Coffee House and Wine Bar is a cozy establishment that offers delectable American cuisine and freshly brewed local coffee. Its inviting ambiance, complemented by live music, creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. This transformed café features an upstairs wine bar where patrons can unwind. The menu highlights the region's local produce, ranging from breakfast salads to scrumptious dinner options. Additionally, visitors can indulge in seafood delicacies, handcrafted cocktails, and a wide selection of wines.
I’ve been here several times, and will definitely come back more in the future! Their cardamom syrup is one of my favorite coffee flavorings, for hot and iced coffees alike, and I can’t find it anywhere else. The salmon toast on the brunch menu is also amazing, I’ve ordered it twice!

Update. Just checked my credit card bill. For some reason they added to the charge. So for 4 people to have Paella they charged me over $200. Absolute rip off!!! I recently dined at LA Coffee house and wine bar , and while the paella was good, the experience was frustrating due to poor management and timing. We were told our food would be ready at 5:15 PM, but it wasn’t served until 6:00 PM. To make matters worse, people who arrived 10-15 minutes after us received their paella before we did. We had to ask multiple times for drinks and remind the staff of our orders, which shouldn’t happen at a restaurant where we spent $170 for four people. It was evident that management prioritized preparing to-go boxes over serving the customers dining in. Although our specific waiter was great and did his best, the overall timing and management issues overshadowed the meal. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

Do NOT come here. Extremely rude staff. You’re not welcomed (especially women by cashier Koran). I visited here on Oct. 20th with my son for brunch options. I’m a lifelong Restonian and have visited Lake Anne’s Coffee House since its opening. I’ve never had the experience I did with cashier Koran (or similar name, tall middle eastern). He clearly was having a very bad day when we entered. We weren’t greeted and he did not speak til we ordered. Koran was cold, short, and seemed agitated. When ordering my son’s sausage & biscuits, he expressed offense to the way I ordered his eggs. I did correct this then proceeded to order. But instead, Koran (being in a very bad mood) began to escalate and condescendingly question the way I ordered the eggs. I expressed that I didn’t understand why he was so argumentative and he raised his voice, said I didn’t greet him while my son went over the menu, and how uncourteous I was as a customer. (As if it wasn’t my intention to feed my kid and support their business like I have throughout the years.) Koran then mocked and yelled at me to calm down, while I simply asked for the transaction to be voided and so we may leave. After all this, he continued to ask what the problem was (as if I wanted their business now). I would love the establishment to review their audio and camera footage, I sincerely felt belittled and disrespected as a woman and a customer. Koran felt comfortable to tower over 5”2 mother and attempt to gaslight, mock, and argue for absolutely no reason in front of my son. Regardless of how a customer orders, if they’re tired and improperly make a mistake: there’s no excuse to argue, belittle and take their anger out on them. The way this man began to escalate in mere seconds is concerning and I would make a strong bet that he does NOT respect women.
Brianna K — Google review
We visited for the Seafood Paella, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The dish was dry, lacked flavor, and had barely any seafood — mostly just rice. Definitely not worth the price. Service was fine. Ambiance great.
Prasun S — Google review
Such a cute coffee shop with a great atmosphere! Each time I’ve gotten the iced matcha with lavender, which is amazing. Their breakfast tacos are also really good, the only thing is the prices are a bit high. However, I feel like this is the same for a lot of places near here which seems to be out of their control.
Brianna D — Google review
I only had a biscuit ($5). Compared to the biscuit I get at a restaurant locally ($1.50), LACHWB biscuit was significantly worse. Like it was NOT buttery. It was a little DRY. It was not good. They definitely did not add enough butter to the recipe. So I give this one item a 2 star.

Hubby and I have come here for years. Charming, cozy place, good live music (gen. not too loud), outdoor fireplace/courtyard. Good wine list. The cajun risotto is fantastic! So is the cardamon latte with oat milk.

Small but cozy cafe, wine bar and food on the 2nd floor with live jazz music, which is different from the 1st floor. It's been a while since I found a place with live music. I was just going to have a cup of coffee, but I like jazz music, so I had another glass of wine! I'll have to come for dinner next time.

Fast food restaurant
Taco Bell is a fast-food chain that offers Mexican-inspired cuisine such as tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. While I have only used the drive-thru service at this particular location near the Wiehle-Reston East metro station, I can attest to the tasty food that has always been hot upon arrival. The drive-thru line can vary in duration, ranging from a few minutes to over 20 minutes.
Quick and easy experience ordering breakfast here. I stopped in to pick up a mobile order for breakfast and stuck around to eat it. This location is modern yet still feels a little like a throwback tacobell, in many good ways. The service was good here as well and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Door Dash lost my $60 dollar delivery. But Carlos (the manager) made it right! I just had to come by and pick it up myself. But I don'tind because the new store looks good and the service is great. Thank you Carlos!

This is our first and very likely our last visit to this location since it reopened (just remodeled). I asked the manager (Tristan) to please change the music to something other than Christian religious music and he said “as long as it’s not profanity, we’re allowed to play anything we want.” One song was “Who am I” by Casting Crowns. While we were inside the restaurant 10 songs played and they were all labeled as Christian genre, when we googled. The lyrics in all the songs repeatedly mentioned “hallelujah god”, “praying”, “having faith”, “following the father”, etc. This is an extremely multicultural area and much of the population around this Taco Bell is other religions. This music is highly inappropriate and tone-deaf for the area.

I get lunch here all the time, and the food and service is top notch. Marisol, who mans the drive through 9/10 times I'm there, always does an amazing job in a very busy, stressful environment. Would recommend for whenever you need a quick bite at a low price

Taco Bell, PLEASE get your drive-thru queen TO-GETH-ERRRR! his attitude is awful for no reason! He's randomly mean and impatient - there's NO ONE ELSE in the LINE!!! He is so mean and bothered by customers for no reason and gives NO grace - you better KNOW what you want to order before you get to the speaker, or be ready for an all out CLASH. This guy comes claws OUT! KNOW exactly what you want BEFORE you even THINK about entering HIS drive thru. He don't play....AND your order WILL be ruined/awful if you make him mad (which doesn't take much). Very weird/aggressive environment for a 'customer'.

Went to The Melting Pot for a friend's birthday. I haven't been to this chain in years, but the product is still good and the service was very attentive, even for a fairly large party. The cheese fondue offers three types of melted cheese with bread, chips and veggies as basically an appetizer. Then we moved on to broth based fondue and a grill for meats and more vegetables and lastly chocolate fondue with an array of cakes, brownies, rice crispy treats, and fruit for dessert. I also tried a Virginia based wine, which ended up being one of the best wines I have tried in Virginia and am now planning to visit their vineyard; so thanks for that lucky opportunity. :-) several of the other members in our party ordered cocktails and I heard a few mention they were very sweet; so I'm glad I stuck with wine. Overall, the experience was on par with what you would expect from a national brand name restaurant. I'd say the staff made the experience better. If you like fondue, this is a good option and probably one of your only options unless you count hot pot restaurants as being similar enough. They do offer personal fondue pot service at their booth tables, which I would prefer over the large party setup we had. Their menu also has a variety of options for cheese, broth/oil and chocolate fondue. Thank you for a decent meal and great service.

We attended for Father’s Day this past weekend, and it was nothing short of absolutely spectacular. We had previously gone for my boyfriend’s birthday in November- when I was 8 months pregnant. That first visit was one to remember- our server Harrison was absolutely amazing! So attentive and brought us a dessert plate at the end of our meal congratulating us on our first baby. He was someone to remember. We requested him again this go around, and I don’t regret it at all. He was so great. Remembered us perfectly, was THRILLED to see our now 6-month old, and was on top of service the entire evening. He was so incredibly attentive, caring, thoughtful, and it felt like being served dinner by a close friend. Absolutely phenomenal food, beautiful atmosphere, and best service I have ever had in my 23 years of life. Absolutely request him if you go- you will not regret it. Management- I recommend a bonus for this stellar server of yours! We will keep coming back for our family celebrations. Thank you Melting Pot Reston for being a part of our most important ones so far 💗

Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special occasion, Ariake provides a comfortable atmosphere for any dining experience. With options like bento boxes, sushi bags, and an extensive list of sushi offerings, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Hidden find in Reston that will make you feel full and satisfied with the overall quality and quantity of the meal when you leave. We got their chirashi bowl that costs $33 but it's worth it as there are a variety of sashimi and a lot of it. The salmon and tuna rolls were also very good. The shrimp and vegetable tempura was decent; I wished the batter was lighter and crispier. Overall I had a very good and filling meal.

First time in the Reston area and wanted to find out if Reston had Japanese/sushi game. Happy to report that Ariake passed my test with flying colors!! Ariake has a pretty extensive menu besides sushi. They offer Japanese favorites like tempura, teriyaki, katsu, and even donburi. Wifey ordered the fried oyster appetizer and Assorted Sashimi (15 pcs of sashimi) and I ordered the chicken katsu curry. We also added a few nigiri pieces: hamachi belly, unagi, and hotate (scallop). All of the nigiri and sashimi pieces were very fresh as the pictures can attest. It helped that this restaurant is quite busy, even on a Wednesday night, providing a quick turnover of sushi orders. It appeared that every table ordered some kind of sushi rolls and nigiri. Chicken Katsu curry was also quite delicious and definitely satisfied my curry cravings. Chicken was properly breaded with panko and fried to perfection. Curry sauce was made in-house and had a nice tangy, unique but familiar Japanese curry flavor. Wait staff was courteous and efficient, but don't expect them to engage in long conversations. Luckily, we were able to have small talk with one of their servers and she even recommended her favorite Thai restaurants in town! Only drawback for some people is that this restaurant can be quite loud owing to its popularity and lower ceilings. If I ever decide to move to this area, I can be assured that my Japanese food and sushi cravings will be met here.

I really enjoyed their fresh and high quality sushi. Although it was a bit expensive, 10$ for one piece of toro, the piece itself was exceptionally delicious and the fish would just melt in your mouth. I do feel like however that I would have preferred a bit more rice for the sushi itself. The fish was quite a generous piece but the rice was so small. I also quite enjoyed the soba but I was really confused as to why they chose to separate the noodles in two parts for the presentation. The service was decent. I was first greeted by an enthusiastic and welcoming waitress but then I was served by a waiter that seemed lethargic for the rest of the night which was not as enjoyable. Even though they were polite and fast, they were quite unenthusiastic. I also enjoyed the wooden interior design. It was simple yet sophisticated and made you feel pretty cosy in my opinion.

Always get the French kiss roll. It is not on the list, but if you know you know, and you can write it on top of the little ordering sheet that they give you they also have a good eggplant appetizer as well as very lightly fried tempura. The toro had a good rice to fish ratio as well. I mainly come here just for the specialty rolls since in my opinion that is what they specialize in but they have something for everyone. Nice stuff relatively quick service, but you do want to make a reservation because it gets very full very quickly even on weekday nights

I had an outstanding experience at Ariake Japanese sushi restaurant! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was impeccable. The staff's attention to detail and warm hospitality made the meal even more enjoyable. Only thing I didn’t like is that the staff kept keeping aside and looking at us while eating which made me uncomfortable. The food was great and we literally liked all the sushi and ramen we tried. Even the tempura was flavourful. My favourite was avocado sushi. Highly recommend for top-notch sushi and excellent service!

I had a great time at my first visit to Ariake! The generous portions of great quality food will make me return soon! We got the chicken yaki soba, Nabeyaki Udon, and a few different rolls of sushi! Our bellies were very happy and are excited to try other items on the menu as well upon our return! Very kind service also from everyone working :)

I enjoy dining at Ariake in Fairfax, and since they also have a location in Reston, I decided to try it out. I went with some friends, but some couldn't eat raw fish. To our delight, the restaurant had many non-seafood options available, including alternatives for their sushi rolls. This made everyone happy with the selection. We ordered Gyoza, which tasted great. The other dishes were also decent, and overall, we were satisfied with our experience at the restaurant.

Ariake in Reston has been our go-to sushi spot for years, and we always leave happy. The sushi is super fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently delicious. We love the cozy atmosphere with big windows that make it feel inviting and relaxed, perfect for both date nights and casual dinners. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure we have everything we need without hovering. Whether it’s the classic nigiri or one of their spicy rolls, every dish is on point, and the miso soup is always a comforting start. If you’re in Reston and craving quality Japanese food, Ariake is definitely worth a visit.

Community center
The Reston Community Center is more than just a building; it's a vibrant hub of cultural and recreational activities for all ages. From theater performances and art exhibitions to swimming sessions and community events, this dynamic space offers a blend of culture, learning, and recreation. The Center Stage hosts various shows and presentations with ample seating providing good views of the stage. Additionally, the spacious public area is available for community events. The center also offers swimming lessons taught by dedicated instructors like Mr.
This is the Reston Community Center that has the Center Stage, where you can see a variety of shows and other presentations. The stage has ample angled seating on a slight incline, all with good views of the stage. Inside the other public part of the Center is spacious and available for community event space. There are beautiful walkways to the main entrance from two parking lots: one very large one that's accessible to most of the shops and the other, smaller one, primarily residential. From my own experience, I recommend parking in the large lot and walking between Ledo's and Buffalo Wing Factory to get to the Community Center.
Erica B — Google review
We rented the main party room at this community center, and while the space itself was beautiful and spacious, our overall experience was terrible. The staff was aggressive and completely unhelpful, making it difficult to enjoy the event. One of the biggest issues was the sound system. We were not allowed to use our own equipment, and their system was awful—low volume and poor quality. We could barely hear the music, which completely ruined the atmosphere of our party. To make matters worse, the venue had a range of stage lights, party lights, and flashers, but they remained off for the entire event. Despite multiple requests to turn them on, the staff ignored us, making the party feel dull and lifeless. Additionally, they imposed strict and unreasonable restrictions, even requiring little kids to stay only within the rented space, which was poorly defined. The only way to tell the boundaries was by looking at where the wood flooring ended and the carpet began. Overall, this was by far the worst and extremely disappointing venue we have ever rented. The poor service, terrible sound system, and lack of lighting made the party a complete letdown. We will never rent this place again and do not recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free event.

Overall, great place to come for hobbies and activities for people of all ages. With that being said, I mainly utilize their aquatic center. Today, I was there waiting for my session to start. There was a kid, not listening to the instructors and exhibiting unsafe behavior. The head lifeguard walked over to the child after watching him consistently. Ignore his instructors instructions and told the child to stop the unsafe behavior. This isn’t verbatim, but basically, that is what he was telling the child. He did not yell at the child. He did not insult the child. He spoke to the child in a soft, but Serious tone. I saw or heard nothing wrong that the lifeguard said to the child. The mom got extremely upset and started yelling at the lifeguard and saying rude things to him. None of his colleagues stood up for him, but I’m assuming they were too stunned to speak. I almost stepped in, but did not. She demanded to know his name, and if I remember correctly, I think he said his name was Steve or Stephen. Regardless, he did nothing wrong and he should’ve never been yelled at and treated that way by this parent. Even after the class concluded, her children were not listening to simple instructions to get out of the pool. The kids weren’t even listening to their own mother. She had to repeatedly tell them to get out of the pool. So if they are not even listening to their mother, why is it so hard for her to believe that her kids weren’t listening to the instructors and doing unsafe things in the pool? If she thinks the way this lifeguard spoke to her kid was “bad”, she is going to have a rude awakening. Once her kids finally reach school age. There are teachers that have low tolerance for bad behavior and we’ll speak to them even worse. I can tell from how she acted, that she probably enables bad behavior at home. I just wanted to write this because the way she acted was extremely disturbing and I already know that she probably planned on speaking with a manager. Again, this lifeguard did and said nothing wrong. I was literally standing there front and center and saw everything. Kudos to him for standing his ground and keeping his cool. If her child would’ve gotten hurt because of the unsafe behavior, he was doing doing, then she would have blamed the lifeguards or the instructors for not telling her child to stop.

I frequently bartend private parties here and love the venue. There is a great space for dancing as well as dining. The commercial kitchen is great for use also. I have done lots of Indian parties and the space is always decorated so beautifully! Great place for celebrations of all kinds! Star Bartenders and Event Staff if you're interested in a venue approved service team.

they have a piano in the center room, but when I asked they said I cannot play it, and there are no opportunities for anyone to play it. I don't have space at home for a piano. To have this space and a piano, but not let anyone play it.... What is the point of even having it? It is a complete waste of a fairly nice grand piano, it will just sit there and decay.

We reserved 4 rooms 2 months in advance, but every time we call in for question we get different answers. Morning people at the front desk ask us to call in the afternoon and afternoon people say to call in the morning. They were very unprofessional and unhelpful. I would never ever rent this place again or will recommend to anyone. Don't waste your money and time at this place.

Tiki bar
Tiki Thai is a vibrant restaurant and tiki bar located in Reston, VA. The menu offers a variety of Thai noodle and rice dishes, as well as fruity cocktails and beers. Dishes range from coconut shrimp and chicken satay to ginger teriyaki chicken and lychee duck curry. The restaurant's tropical ambiance makes it an ideal spot for enjoying craft cocktails while imagining yourself on a tropical island.
Tiki Thai never disappoints! My husband and I went on a busy Friday evening with no reservation and were able to be seated immediately. I got my favorite dish, the drunken noodles with tofu, and he got the spicy basil with chicken. We both got drinks and they were very well made. Our service was great, per usual and we love the atmosphere and open concept of the restaurant. This is one of our local favorites and we will definitely be back!!

This is a very popular Thai restaurant in the Reston area. That place has several outstanding eating places but the restaurant more than holds it own against the stiff competition We went during the busy lunch hour and had a short wait of about 5 minutes. Despite the rush, the waitress was quite efficient in terms of taking order and serving them. The food was great. Generous portions and quite tasty. Prices on the higher side but expected. Most of the dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan. Overall a great dining experience.

Very nice Thai place next to Reston town center. Probably our favorite part was the decor and atmosphere. Really nice on a Friday night with good weather. They had all the windows and doors open and the patio seating is fantastic. They had a firepit going outside with couples drinking cocktails. Great vibe. Food was good - simple pad Thai and Panang curry. But no thrills or special prep. Food was probably a notch slightly below the atmosphere. Good but not excellent. Service was very friendly. Overall recommend for basic Thai food and nice atmosphere particularly if you can sit outside in the patio.

The atmosphere and vibe here are amazing, and I really loved the drinks. That said, they are quite pricey—as is the food. We ordered two appetizers, two entrées, and three drinks, and the bill came out to just under $200 at lunchtime. Unfortunately, the appetizers weren’t to our taste, but the main entrées were excellent and definitely worth coming back for. Next time, I’d skip the starters and just order an entrée to go, while probably grabbing drinks elsewhere. Service was excellent, and the ambience is fantastic—overall, I’d give it four stars.

Good Thai restaurants in the reston area! The ambiance is incredible - super spacious with tons of seating, and it has this modern yet cozy vibe. The bar area is lively, with a lot of people hanging out, grabbing drinks, and just chilling. It’s a great spot for a casual night out or even a fun dinner with friends. We tried the Cry Baby Noodles, dumplings, fried rice, and tofu wings - everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The portions were generous and presentation was on point. A special shoutout to their dessert - it comes with a sparkler candle if you ask them if someone is celebrating their birthday and it’s such a cool touch! Totally Instagram-worthy. Whether you’re looking for a chill bar scene or a quality meal, Tiki Thai is a spot I’d highly recommend for date nights, group dinners, or just treating yourself to authentic Thai flavors.

Great atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. Tiki drinks are good. Had the Mai Tai and the Tiki Shot. Had the Pad Zee U with chicken. Big portion, very flavorful, the noodles were very soft, more than I'm used to but it was really good.

Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. The service was good, but there are some opportunities to improve its quality. The portion sizes and taste of the food were great, and the decorations were beautiful. The Bar was amazing.

Stopped in for dinner during a work trip. Was so good I went back the following night! I sat at the bar the first night as the bartenders were super helpful with food suggestions. The Tom Sum salad is awesome (had it both nights) though it’s a bit spicy so be prepared or order it less spicy. The Akil’s Old Fashioned was amazing! For my main meal I had the Tai Curry one night and the Drunken Noodles the second, each with chicken. Both were really tasty though I have to say the Tai Curry was my favorite even though I forgot to get a picture!! Both do run a bit spicy though so be mindful when ordering. I love the spice level but know it would have been too much for my wife. Overall amazing food and drinks with great service in both the bar and dining area. I will definitely be back!!

The staff's expertise in wine shines through exceptional service, making it a haven for wine lovers. The restaurant has undergone a great makeover from its previous ambiance, now featuring open, bright, and modern decor that appeals to the younger crowd.
We had an absolutely spectacular time here. Nikki our server was so friendly and warm! They explained to us the history of the restaurant and the concept which was super cool. They went above and beyond to offer us extras to go with our meal, and also recommended some great drinks. The food was scrumptious, we loved it so much, that we made a second visit in the very same week. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend sixty vines for a great time and yum food! ❤️

We went here late Saturday evening and the vibe was pretty nice. Great service and their kitchen is open until they are open unlike closing 30 minutes or so early like many other places. Decent wine collection and lot of vegetarian food choices. Their potato appetizer was pretty nice so was their house made cheesecake. Very light and not too sweet! Will visit again. Lovely outdoors.

We had such a wonderful experience! The appetizer and main dishes were absolutely fabulous — everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Came in with coworkers for dinner on a weeknight. Service was excellent! Our server kept an eye on us, provided great recommendations, and was very friendly and helpful. The food was really good! We tried several items and everyone enjoyed the food here. Wine list was great and dessert was very good too! Their burger was very tasty and not too messy, exactly how I like it! Brussel sprouts were very interesting and flavorful! Olive oil cake was spot-on! I’ll definitely return!

We visited during the summer time. Outside sitting was nice with comfortable weather and decoration. We order several dishes; appetizers and entrees. Everything was delicious, fresh, and presentable except white pizza. It is probably not my cup of tea. My husband had a similar thought about pizza tho. So I don’t really recommended a pizza plate. Overall, food was great! Service was amazing, and atmosphere was phenomenal.

Sixty Vines in Reston delivers a refined dining experience with both quality and atmosphere. Their pizza is excellent — perfectly balanced with a crisp, flavorful crust and thoughtful toppings that make it stand out from typical wine-bar fare. The egg Benedict is another highlight, rich yet clean in flavor, with precision in execution that makes it memorable. The restaurant itself is spacious and stylish, designed to feel open and inviting, with the added advantage of their signature wine-on-tap program that complements the food beautifully. Service is attentive without being intrusive, which helps the overall experience feel elevated but relaxed. Sixty Vines is more than a wine spot — it’s a destination for consistently well-made dishes, especially their pizza and brunch offerings.

Friendly restaurant that is great for families, friends and dates. They have a varied range of wines in tap that you can order half a glass, full glass and bigger. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower that comes with a delicious roasted eggplant dish and pita. The beet and goat cheese salad is also good. The pappardelle with slow roasted pork was very good. However you have to wait to get your drinks. The food came out all at once, a bit too quickly so I had to ask the server to reheat the pasta that came out with the appetizers for some reason.

Landry and Adam offered a 5-star experience! From Landry’s warm and welcoming efforts to Adam’s attention to detail, we had the perfect night celebrating. Bombay Velvet is a chic and contemporary Indian restaurant known for its gourmet cuisine. The upscale dining experience is accentuated by stunning decor, including luxurious sofas, elegant chandeliers, and exquisite copper cutlery. While the cocktails are impressive, some find them to be on the pricier side. The menu features popular dishes like Old Delhi Butter Chicken, Vilayati Sabzi, Masala Jackfruit, Allepey Fish Curry (Sea Bass), and Lamb Vindaloo.
Hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had in the DMV area! The flavors were authentic and absolutely delicious. Customer service was a perfect 10/10—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The presentation of each dish was top-notch. I would 100% recommend this place as the #1 Indian restaurant in the DMV area! All the main course dishes pair perfectly with tandoori roti or garlic naan. While the chicken biryani wasn’t quite up to the mark, I still highly recommend trying everything on their menu—especially the dishes I’ve featured in the photos!

We had a fabulous experience at this place. The food taste and presentation was top notch! They have really worked at infusing flavors in their food in different ways. Special mention to the red chilli strands on the malai broccoli, red chilli ajwain parantha and tadka dal. They went an extra mile to customize a dish for my son. Amit took really good care of our group. He was really meticulous with all the details and made the evening extra special for us. He really deserves extra kudos!

This is truly one of those places where everything (food, service and ambiance) was a win! Between the two of us, we ordered 3 dishes - cauliflower, lamb and butter chicken, and all were excellent. Amrit our server was good enough to point out that in our initial selection, we had selected dishes that are "medium" spicy, and pointed out some that were less / not spicy. I appreciate how this Indian restaurant truly caters to people who can tolerate more spices, and those who might not be able to do so. As we were driving, we were not able to try the excellent cocktails we saw - that's reserved for the next time we'll be back!

We went to Bombay Valet Restaurant for lunch. The food was okay, and the service was good. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. However, we were surprised to see a 20% service charge automatically added to our bill even though there were only two of us. It was mentioned in very small letters on the menu, which made it easy to miss. In my opinion, something like that should be made clear and visible before ordering — especially since it’s not common for small parties to be charged automatically. Also, we were given a Diwali gift, but unfortunately, it was spoiled. That was really disappointing and unexpected — we’ve never seen a restaurant give out a spoiled gift before. Overall, while the place looks nice and the service was polite, the experience could have been better with more transparency and attention to detail.

Ben & Jerry’s is a renowned ice cream parlor chain originating from Vermont, celebrated for its inventive and playfully named flavors. Customers praise the friendly and accommodating staff at various locations, noting their interactive and respectful demeanor. The establishment's commitment to customer safety is also highlighted, particularly in catering to individuals with nut allergies by ensuring separate handling of nut-containing products. Patrons consistently commend the delicious ice cream offerings and exceptional customer service experienced at Ben & Jerry’s outlets.

I was a little disappointed because you never get to find an actual Ben and Jerry's store. I know around the corner in any direction is other ice cream stores that would have had better tasting items. But fun to visit if you're an old school Ben and Jerry's fan like me. Cheers

We usually love Ben & Jerry’s, and the ice cream definitely didn’t disappoint — it tasted great as always. However, this visit wasn’t the best experience when it came to service. The line was really long, and only one employee seemed to be helping customers while the others were chatting amongst themselves. It was also hard communicating our orders — we had to repeat things multiple times because they weren’t really paying attention. Hopefully it was just an off day, because the ice cream itself was excellent. A little more focus on customer service would’ve made the visit much better.

Best Ice Cream & Even Better Service! Ben & Jerry’s has always been my go-to for indulgent, high-quality ice cream, and this visit just reminded me why. The flavors are bold, creative, and absolutely delicious—Chunky Monkey and Half Baked never fail me. The store was spotless, and everything was well-stocked and fresh. But what really made this visit stand out was the amazing service from Anderson. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and a positive attitude. He was super knowledgeable about all the flavors, offered samples without hesitation, and even gave great recommendations based on what I liked. You could tell he genuinely cared about creating a great experience. Anderson made a simple ice cream stop feel special, and that kind of service is rare. Give that man a raise! Will definitely be back soon—both for the ice cream and the outstanding customer care.

Ledo Pizza has been a popular local choice since 1955 for their pies featuring a distinctive flaky, rectangular crust and traditional Italian dishes. Whether ordering takeout or dining in, customers have consistently enjoyed Ledo's pizza. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, ensuring drinks are continuously refilled without becoming intrusive. The thick-cut pepperoni adds a delightful burst of flavor to Ledo's pizza, perfectly complementing the combination of their delicious sauce, crust, and cheese.
This was our first visit to Ledo’s Pizza after 5 years. This morning my husband said he wanted a vegetarian pizza with a bunch of chicken wings. So I ordered it this afternoon . The large pizza, one half vegetarian and one half sausage, plus the dozen wings didn’t disappoint and had the same flavors we remembered. We love the quality, taste and affordability of their food. Ledo’s is still one of our favorite pizza places!

Restaurant
Morton's The Steakhouse is an upscale dining destination that specializes in aged prime beef and a variety of seafood, all served in a sophisticated, club-like atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating with friends or enjoying a casual meal, Morton's offers private seating options for larger groups, ensuring attentive service throughout your visit. Diners rave about the impressive seafood towers and freshly baked bread that are hard to resist. The menu features standout dishes like the filet Oscar and seabass, both praised for their quality and flavor.
I celebrated my anniversary at Morton’s Steakhouse, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This was hands down the most professional restaurant I’ve ever been to. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. The staff was not only friendly but incredibly efficient, making everything run so fast and smooth. 😋🥩 We started with the lobster bisque, which was rich and full of flavor, setting the tone for the evening. The ribeye steak, cooked to perfection, paired wonderfully with the delicious garlic butter. Every course came out perfectly timed, and the attention to detail was second to none. It was the perfect setting for a special occasion, and I can’t wait to return for another memorable experience! 🥰🌹♥️

I went here in a large group, and we got this private seating in our own room, we were very well taken care of. We stayed with these sea food towers that were just amazing! The bread was delicious, I tried not to eat it because that's my kryptonite that doesn't let me eat any real food, lol The steak was great along with the cheese cake! But not the best cheese cake in town, that's the Brazilian steak house. Still, though delicious 😋 Oh, and we got these little bread cracker thumbs with i think meat on it. I have no idea what it was, but we're fenominal! I can't leave a review without talking about the drinks, and they were top-notch! I've had drinks all over Reston, and they knew how to make several good drinks!

Dined solo at the bar and ordered the filet. Most of the menu is à la carte which is fine for me. I was asked if I wanted bread after my drink arrived to which I said yes please. I was surprised on the size, it was like a loaf of bread and oniony. I always wanted to try a Morton's and really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely eat here again, service was fantastic!

Morton's is consistent in their service and offerings! We love to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other life events there! This was my first time getting the tomahawk steak, and it literally melts in your mouth! They have carrot cake that we had to get to go from being so stuffed, and let me tell you-it is delicious! I am a super snob about carrot cake as I make a really good one, and I will admit Morton's is giving me a run for top place!

I’m not a stranger to Morton’s anytime I get near one. I typically do go. This time was no different. I have really come to love their consistency. The ambience the service. Everything is always on point in your wish is always their command. This is no different from the fresh Hot oven made bread to the fillet. Oscar and the Seabass’s were absolutely on point if you’ve never been to a Morton’s, please go when you get a chance and if you’re ever in Reston definitely check this one out

Well, had we not received a wedding present of $150 gift card specifically to dine at Morton's, we likely would not have visited. And although our grand total was still nearly $200 (wine not included), we did rather enjoy the food service and overall ambiance. The 28oz NY Strip took quite awhile to finally be served, but once it was, "pretty good." We also had Lobster Bisque soup, Salads, and Truffle Fries. Not a likely go-to with frequency, but we may revisit at some point in the future.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon for a glass of wine and appetizers on the patio and everything was excellent and wonderfully prepared. Our server, Mobin, was personable, knowledgeable, and gave us great suggestions for our “meal”. Thank you!

We went for the whole lobster special 1.75 lbs. It was delicious. We also got a 16 oz. Strip to share. It was a fantastic steak and cooked perfectly. The servers were on top of things and friendly. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Always a great place to have a super meal.
