Beautiful and very accesible for families to enjoy. There are good stores but not too many however, it’s a great place to walk outside in a safe environment. Good places to eat specially for a quick coffee break.
Eileen V — Google review
Beautiful and clean area with plenty of great restaurants and shops. The atmosphere is lively but still relaxed. Parking is easy — there are several garages nearby, and it’s well organized. Perfect spot for a walk, shopping, or dinner out.
Gerald L — Google review
Great place to live. Has everything: shopping, dining, grocery, drinks, parks, entertainment, hospital, hair salons, etc. It’s clean, safe, walkable, has a metro stop, and is along the W&OD trail.
Jessica H — Google review
I love Reston. Walkable with multiple high quality restaurants - hard to decide between them. Always something going on in the square.
Petra B — Google review
Very nice town center. I have been coming here for years. There is plenty of parking in the garages. A wide variety of restaurants to dessert places and retail as well. Located right off the exit this is a safe place to bring children as well. They block off the roads and there’s plenty of policeman around.
Khoi N — Google review
Visited on a Friday afternoon. Free 1 hour parking. Reasonable parking prices for the garages. Quieter than expected for a city-like area, like not too many cars or people out and about. Pretty and clean--you can tell it's newer construction. Very walkable with plenty of eats and shopping. Nice place to visit for the area.
Mary — Google review
I’ve been a frequent visitor to Reston Town Center for years, and it always delivers something new each time. It’s become the heart of modern Reston, with its lively mix of shops, restaurants, and gathering spots. Every visit feels different—sometimes it’s a quick coffee, other times a long evening with friends. 🛍 Shopping & Dining One of the biggest draws for me is the variety of shopping and dining. From big names to smaller, unique spots, there’s always something to explore. The dining scene is strong—you can do anything from a casual bite to a full night out. I’ve had plenty of great meals here, and it keeps me coming back. 🎭 Evenings & Events RTC works well for dinners and evenings out, but it’s not a late-night party destination. The energy comes more from its restaurants, wine bars, and seasonal events—like concerts, festivals, and even ice skating in the winter—than from traditional nightlife. It’s lively enough without ever feeling overwhelming. 🚶 Walkability & Atmosphere The setting is clean, safe, and very walkable. I like being able to stroll the plazas, grab a seat outside, and just enjoy the vibe. Even when it gets crowded—especially on weekends or event nights—it’s more energetic than chaotic. 🏞 History & Changing Vibe What’s interesting to me is how much RTC reflects Reston’s shift over the years. Back in the day, Reston had a more non-commercial, community-centered vibe—quiet lakes, trails, and green spaces defined it. Town Center changed that, creating a bustling, urban energy in the middle of the suburbs. For me, both versions of Reston are cool in their own way. It was cool then, and it’s still cool now. ✨ Overall Experience As someone who visits often, I can say that Reston Town Center never disappoints. Whether I’m here for shopping, dining, a community event, or just a casual walk, it works for every mood. RTC has become a landmark in its own right, a symbol of how Reston has grown while still keeping its community spirit alive.

Adventure enthusiasts can explore over 12 miles of biking trails that wind through the hilly terrain. I visited Lake Fairfax Park today and was captivated by its serene beauty and peaceful ambiance. The shimmering lake, surrounded by lush greenery, created a perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. Families were enjoying picnics, trails buzzed with laughter, and the air felt refreshingly clean. The park’s natural charm and well-maintained spaces made it feel like a hidden gem. It’s a perfect escape from the city, where nature and joy come together effortlessly.

This county park offers many amenities including picnic pavilions, boat rentals, family water park, multiple restrooms, snack bar, and ample parking. However the county maintenance department does not keep the park clean, including the trash in the lake itself, as noted in the photos taken during a recent visit.

I visited this place in Early February when the lake was frozen, no activities, the place looked like the one from a thriller hollywood movie. But very adventurous, I saw some campers in camping vans and very very few people almost none, few cars parked here and there but I am sure that this place would be full of life from spring onwards till fall end that's for sure..if you want to go and be with yourself, reorganize your thoughts you can go in winter too..its very peaceful here... check out the videos and photos I posted..

Lake Fairfax Park is a perfect spot for a fun day out! We had a great time paddle boating on the lake, enjoyed the BBQ areas with plenty of space for gatherings, and the swimming pool was a big hit. A wonderful place to relax, explore, and make memories with family and friends.

Visiting from Texas - it was great to experience the woods of Virginia so easily. Saw so much wildlife: squirrels, deer, many species of birds. Great interpretive info and easy, well-marked trails!

This was a great place to hike with my 2 year old. There were dirt paths and paved paths. You choose which way you want to go (or ask your 2 year old which way lol). Hiked 2 miles. Very nice. Will do this again. Not too many people on paths.

Nice little trail in the back of this Nature Center. I didn't go inside, and walked the short trail in the back and the trail around the area. The area is very clean. It is also very dog friendly.

Business center
Lake Anne Plaza, located in Reston, Virginia, is a vibrant village center that offers a variety of attractions for both locals and visitors. The plaza features a weekly seasonal farmers market, boutique shops, and popular gathering spots such as Cafe Montmartre and Lake Anne Coffee House. During the summer months, the area hosts festivals like the Cardboard Boat Regatta and Reston Pride, along with opportunities to rent pedal boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards on the 17-acre lake.
This should be renamed just to 'Lake Anne Plaza' (as of Sep. 2024, it is one of two places Google labels as the Lake Anne Parking Lot). The Lake Anne Plaza is artsy, a bit quirky, and definitely one of a kind. The Plaza and community center host Reston events throughout the year, so depending on when you go it can be quiet and tranquil or packed with many vendors and guests alike. Favorites within the Plaza include the used book store and the art gallery (near the end of the boardwalk), but I have yet to enter each and every store. On this quiet day, there were a number of artists around the area. Even with cloudy weather, the views from the lake and around the area to the pedestrian bridge (right from the main boardwalk) were still breathtaking.

Lake Anne plaza is the historic “heart and soul” of Reston, Virginia.Lake Anne is a mixed use development, residential, commercial shops, man made lake, trails and restaurants. There is also a museum dedicated to Reston’s history. There is also the Van Gogh Bridge which is set along a walking path through lake Anne Plaza.

Not very easy to park a car! Very nice farmers market! Nice that they had a small live band there Very nice people The fresh strawberries & cucumbers were delicious! Highly recommend coming here!

This place is such a hidden gem! I had the best grilled octopus of my life here — perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The coffee they served was also amazing, rich in taste and aroma. Definitely coming back!”
Babak O — Google review
It’s a beautiful but neglected gem tucked away in the overgrown foliage of Reston. I hadn’t been here for 12 years and had forgotten all about it so when I returned I did feel sad about it’s present condition from old and charming to old, charming but struggling… I think this place deserves to be revived for both its beauty and historical significance.
Bhavin S — Google review
I love Lake Anne Plaza! There's so much to do here and there are many festivals held here, such as the Reston Multicultural Festival in late September and the PRIDE Festival in June. You can have coffee and pastries here at the coffee shop, relax while gazing at the beautiful geyser (which is sometimes lit up in colorful lights), rent a boat, grab lunch or dinner at one of many other restaurants, and walk along the Green Trail to the nearby Van Gogh Bridge. There are also rock, brick, and metal sculptures along the way to keep your mind busy. You can visit the cat vet, the barber shop, the Reston Museum, and many more shops! And don't forget that your local Reston Community Center is here too.

Reston National Golf Course, established in 1970, is a beloved local gem known for its classic design and commitment to environmental preservation. Nestled in Northern Virginia, the course offers a serene golfing experience while maintaining the natural beauty of the area. With an 18-hole layout and par 71, it caters to golfers of all skill levels. The clubhouse features a restaurant and golf shop offering club repairs and custom fitting services.
Called today about playing 9 and got told that charging for 9 stops after 9AM? But that i would have to pay for 18 the rest of the tee times. Even though i wanted to tee off at 4:30. Can someone explain to me why this is the case? This basically punted me and my friends from playing here during the week. Update: Thanks for the quick feedback! I'll pass that along to my friends. Giving 2 stars cause the staff is friendly and the driving range isn't too bad
Isaac C — Google review
First time playing here. Staff were friendly, practice facilities were decent, pace for a Saturday was reasonable, and course layout is fine. Unfortunately, the condition of the course with a price of $95 (for green fee plus cart) was really disappointing. The tee boxes and greens were beat up. Putting was a nightmare with numerous little pot holes to bump along and knock your ball off the line on its way to the hole. Greens are otherwise shaggy and slow. Bunkers had a bunch of rocks in them. Not sure if this is because it’s early in the season, or if it’s always like this, but it’s not a $95 course. Oh, and the people living around the course were walking up and down the cart paths like they’re at a park. Had to wait multiple times for them to clear before hitting tee shots. I would say this is a $60 course at best, and even at that price, I don’t think I’ll be playing here again.
Noah B — Google review
One of the Worst Courses in Northern Virginia Reston National is by far one of the most poorly maintained golf courses I’ve played — especially given the high price point. The bunkers are a joke, with grass growing out of them like they haven’t been touched in weeks. The course overall feels neglected, with constant gnats swarming you the entire round. Bring bug spray — and expect to reapply it four or five times just to stay sane. What really sets this place apart (in a bad way) is the constant interruption from kids running across the greens and fairways due to the nearby housing. It completely kills the atmosphere and makes it hard to focus on your game. Save your money and play almost anywhere else. This course isn’t worth it.
Jose P — Google review
Course is horribly maintained. Terrible water management (huge puddles on the greens and on cart paths). Tee boxes and greens were mud with a bit of grass (see pics). Horrible.
Dan - — Google review
I haven’t played this course in over two years. I remember it as always being in good shape, well maintained and fun to play. Today I played it for $65 which included range balls and I was both dismayed and disappointed by the condition of the course. Not worth playing for half the price, maybe not even for free. The following were a disgrace, the tee boxes, the bunkers, the rough. Tee boxes were over grown, some covering the tee box markers , others bare or with patches of grass. Bunkers hard as a rock and it looked like they had never bent raked, Greens needed to be cut; forget about trying to gauge ball speed. The grass in the rough was so long and thick that you felt like you were in a cow pasture. I will never come back. No pride at all in maintaining this course.
J L — Google review
Absolutely horrendous excuse for a golf course. Was charged $140 for two players and a glove after 545-6 to play 9 holes except they don’t offer 9 hole rates so that is their version of a “twilight” offer. Not even gonna waste time on complaining about the conditions of the course the rest of the reviews on here tell you enough. Wouldn’t play here again if the course was FREE. Waste of time
Brian A — Google review
Full price and the single worst condition course I’ve played in years. No effort to mow, most tee box’s are inoperable, cart paths are not drivable, carts are in terrible condition. No reason this couldn’t be a great course except for sheer incompetence at the helm.
Justin K — Google review
This place was terrible, it had been a few days since it rained, but after playing 4 holes my feet were soaked! Everything was wet, almost all 18 holes, towards the end I had to play barefoot. The price for the experience was not worth it whatsoever. The layout of the holes were decent but the only memorable thing was the service, easy to check in and get what I needed.

Wine bar
Barcelona Wine Bar is a charming Spanish eatery located in Reston Town Center, offering a blend of rustic and elegant ambiance. Situated near Town Square Park and adjacent to its sister restaurant, bartaco, this high-end establishment serves up traditional Spanish small plates and an extensive selection of wines.
It's been a long while since we've visited Barcelona Wine Bar in Reston Town Center. We were pleased with our server Angie, who provided excellent service and was knowledgeable about the dishes. At 12noon on Memorial Day the restaurant wasn't busy so Angie was able to provide lots of attention & attend to our drinks & food. All 5 tapas came out quite quickly & we opted for hot instead of cold tapas. The tapas didn't come out hot but was tasty. We ordered broccolini 🥦 , eggplant 🍆 caponata, cauliflower tapas as well as octopus 🐙 and dates wrapped with bacon 🥓. Thanks Angie we will be back 😋
Cindy C — Google review
I’ve taken friends, family, and dates here and it’s the perfect spot for all of them! With a wide variety of wine to choose from you’ll definitely find something you’ll like! The large plate options take about 30-40 minutes to prepare so order those first if you do! Otherwise the tapas are plenty and come out quickly in less than 10 minutes.
Huy — Google review
Came here for a lunch date with my husband, and while I’ll admit everything was absolutely delicious, I’m personally not a huge fan of tapas-style dining. Yes, we ordered 10+ dishes for just the two of us and yes, we eventually got full — but I’m the type of person who, if something tastes amazing, I want a full portion to really satisfy my inner foodie binge. Small plates leave me a little frustrated. That said, the flavors were spot on across the board. Each dish was well-prepared and tasty, and I can see why people love this place, especially if you enjoy pairing tapas with wine. Service was fine — not bad, not fantastic. Waiting 5–10 minutes for drink refills got a bit annoying, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Would I go back? Probably if friends suggested it. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you like wine and enjoy the tapas experience. For me personally, since I don’t drink and prefer larger portions, it’s not exactly my style — but still a solid and enjoyable spot.
Ann S — Google review
I love sitting at this bar and ordering a bunch of small plates. My favorites are the papas bravas and the potato pie thing but all the cheese and charcuterie was delish too. I haven’t had a bad bartender here yet! I’ve prob been 5 times in the last year. The atmosphere is cool, the hooks under the bar for coats and purses are amazing, eating outside with my dog was very nice too. 10s across the board for me:)

From the moment I stepped into Barcelona, it felt like a celebration! The place was buzzing with energy, the music and décor created such a festive vibe, and I instantly felt like I was part of something special. The staff were not just friendly—they made the whole night fun, almost like they were hosts at a party. The laughter, the clinking glasses, and the cheerful atmosphere made it one of the most memorable nights I’ve had in a long time. The food and drinks only added to the excitement—everything was delicious, colorful, and full of flavor. Every plate that arrived at the table felt like a little event of its own. Honestly, I had the best time of my life here. If you’re looking for more than just a meal—if you want an experience that feels festive, joyful, and unforgettable—Barcelona is the place to be!
Igor M — Google review
I had an incredible experience thanks to our server Josue. From the moment we were seated, they were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. It’s rare to come across someone so professional and passionate about their work-our experience was made memorable because of their amazing service. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
Nayely S — Google review
Amazing food! They all taste great. A little bit pricey for small plates but you get what you pay for.
Angelita — Google review
Eat up with some friends for dinner one evening to eat some tapas. We had a reservation for prompt seating. The place was packed and loud. I personally am not a fan of the loudness due to bad acoustics that could be solved with proper treatments. The crowd is good to show the place has high demand. The food was very good and we enjoyed a great meal for the evening. If it was quieter I would go back otherwise I will enjoy tapas when I get back to Barcelona Spain later this year.

Red's Table is a charming eatery that offers picturesque lake views and a blend of rustic and contemporary design elements. Situated in the South Lakes Plaza, right next to Cafesano, this restaurant serves up an American menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. Whether you stop by for a Happy Hour drink in the early afternoon or indulge in lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch, Red's Table has something delicious to offer.
We hosted a Bridal Shower in the private room and couldn't be more pleased! Our guests were greeted with sparkling wine by our private server, Bailey. The room was set up and ready for us when we arrived to decorate. We were able to bring in our own flowers and balloon arch. The guests ordered straight from the menu which ensured everyone got just what they'd like! It was a breeze to work with Ryan setting up the date, time, etc. We will be back to enjoy a meal and a view of Lake Thoreau.
Patti S — Google review
We are locals & frequent Red's Table. I had the strawberry salad & added shrimp. My friend had the sweet potatoes salad & added chicken. Both dishes were delicious as expected at this restaurant. We had ice teas. It lovely weather & we enjoyed the patio seating. Lake Thoreau was showcasing wonderful flora & fauna. Luckily the gas powered trimmers in the neighboring condo complex were out near the end of our lunch (noise of course out of the control of the restaurant). Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was the dessert 🍨 we shared. The strawberry 🍓 bread pudding which sounded nice however it was discombobulated in execution. This dessert came out covered with whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate sauce with a cherry on top. Looked like a kids experimented with it. The remaining third was the bread pudding with some strawberries we think. Suggestion to emphasis the strawberry theme - have a strawberry on top on the whipped cream instead of a cherry & strawberry instead of chocolate sauce. Anyway, it was weird 😵
Cindy C — Google review
We went here after our monthly community outreach event and it was a great treat for our good works! The service, and food were both good. The staff was friendly as we kept them on their toes by asking crazy questions like if the chicken & waffles were vegan and if they had a to go box that would fit the tea kettle for me to take home!lol I was a little hesitant about the lemon and ricotta in the waffles but hands down some of the best waffles that I've ever had. In fact, I got an extra order to go! The rest of my party order margarita and martini flights and they could barely finish them. I think a couple did not as they were feeling them right away! So, shout out to good alcohol content in their drinks and this serves as warming for light weight drinkers lol Check them out!
SW — Google review
Great location and friendly service, but food was underwhelming. We went there for brunch to celebrate a birthday and sat outside on the patio. The view was really good and the weather was nice. The server was really friendly and nice. We got coffee to start off with, but it was cold—even after asking for hot coffee during the refill. For appetizers, we got goat cheese fritters and they were really good. In the main course, among other things, we got the Spring Onion Fonduta pasta and a mushroom oats burger. The pasta was really bad—no taste at all and hard to even eat. The burger was ok—good patty but nothing else in the burger in terms of sauce or add-ons. The fries with the burger were not crunchy and had no seasoning. The banana split was ok. The place was really nice. I just wish the food was good too.

A Dream Wedding Celebration at Red Table! My husband and I recently had the immense pleasure of hosting our intimate wedding ceremony and reception (around 25 guests) at Red Table, one of our absolute favorite date night spots – and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect day! From the very beginning, coordinating with the owner and restaurant management team was an absolute breeze. They were incredibly welcoming and offered heartfelt congratulations and encouragement right away, clearly outlining the simple steps involved in planning our event. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality extended to all of our guests. Every single person commented on how warm and welcoming the entire Red Table team was, making them feel truly celebrated and well-cared for. And of course, the food was, as always, exceptional! The buffet offered generous portions and was incredibly well-priced. We honestly cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Red Table. They transformed our special day into a truly unforgettable celebration. We are so grateful for their outstanding service and delicious food, and we eagerly look forward to utilizing their wonderful venue again for future milestone occasions – perhaps a baby shower in the not-too-distant future! If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, outstanding hospitality, and the ability to host special events, look no further than Red Table!

I’d give Reds Table a solid 4 stars. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The décor was stylish and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere that paired well with the waterfront views. Our waiter was fantastic—warm, attentive, and personable. He made us feel right at home, and I was impressed when he took all of our orders without writing anything down and got everything exactly right. The food itself was tasty and nicely presented, with good flavor combinations that felt fresh and well-prepared. That said, the portion sizes could have been more generous, as we left feeling like we could have eaten a bit more. The biggest drawback for me was the noise level—it was quite loud, which made it harder to have a relaxed conversation at the table. Still, between the great service, appealing décor, and quality food, Reds Table is definitely worth visiting. With just a bit more attention to portion size and noise control, it could easily be a 5-star experience.

I hosted my husband’s birthday at Red’s Table in their private dining room and had a wonderful time! The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing. I’ve attached photos of the private dining room for anyone considering hosting their event— I’d highly recommend them!

Chef driven scratch kitchen with a changing food and drink menu for each season of the year. Well knowledgeable staff. Very strong community support. A lot of long term clientele regulars. I have seen one table of business men and women, another table early people in their early 20’s, and a table of local families dining at Rad’s Table for dinner and lunch. This place is a true gem in Reston VA. with a mixture of people from all walks of life enjoying their experience from a truly scratch chef driven kitchen. Wine list that will make you fall in love with wine all over again. A view of the lake with a patio that is open or enclosed that will let you enjoy the view year round. I have lived in Honolulu, Atlanta, California and after all that travel I found a place that I and others can finally call home. Every time I go Reds Table in Reston Va. something is always new on the food , drink, and wine menu. Reds Table has a great GM and owner that truly cares about their guests and community. Always engaging with guest and finding different ways to help donate money and time to all organizations.

The Reston Museum offers a fascinating look into the history of Reston, one of the earliest planned communities in the US. Through artifacts, exhibits, photographs, and artworks, visitors can learn about Reston's beginnings in 1962 and its emphasis on walkability, amenities, and recreational spaces. The museum also hosts events like Bricks by The Lake where Lego enthusiasts showcase their creations for online voting.
What a great day to play with Legos! Had the pleasure of attending the “Bricks by The Lake” at the Reston Museum. This event had several sponsors and it was well worth the donation to participate. The staff and host were friendly, courteous and helpful. Being a first timer I was greeted like family. By the time the event started it was just a few people participating, within minutes the event was standing room only. Brick makers from far and wide had their creations on display for online voting. Our family enjoyed the greatest gift of fellowship and being together doing something we love.

I visited with my family during open hours as advertised on the website. When we arrived at 1:30 pm the museum was closed, with a sign on the door stating that it would reopen at 12:15 pm. We waited around but nobody came to reopen the museum, and calls went to voicemail.

I went here with my grandmother and my twin brother and we had an exciting time! I’ve lived 10 minutes away from this museum for 15 years and on 6.7.2022, I finally got the chance to visit!! At first glance, tourists won’t be super impressed, since it’s a very small community museum run by one man!! However, once you step inside this gem, there is an exciting exhibit on the history and influence of the community of Reston. I’ve learned that Reston was named after its founder, Robert Edmund Simon Junior, who was originally born and raised in New York City. He and other developers wanted to construct a suburban community with urban amenities, such as the super clean Reston Town Center, and the Lake Anne Community Center, which is where the Reston Museum is located. At the start of the tour, the curator plays you a 15-minute video which is all about the history of Reston and how and why it is one of the most, if not, the most influential suburban communities in the United States of America!!!!!! When the exhibit is over, there is a small gift shop, where you can purchase souvenirs such as shirts, coffee mugs, and framed pictures, and much more! A small, yet impressive museum in the outskirts of D.C!!!!!! According to Trip Advisor, the recommended duration here is less than one hour, since it’s so small. However, I recommend that you stay here as long as you want to in order that you throughly learn everything in the museum!!!!

Oh my goodness. I'm just a visitor to this town. I went on Google to find something to get into. I love art so I was excited to visit this place. The ladies that work there were really nice. So, I have a seat in the little room and watch the moving art. Loved it. Then when I'm done I ask what's the space behind the room. She says seating. So, I proceed to the other side of the receptionists desk and it's just a table. My goodness. Where's the artwork? I walked from my hotel for that. Yeah. I was disappointed for sure. All the empty white walls you have in there, put something on them.

American restaurant
Founding Farmers Reston Station is a cooperative-grower-owned restaurant that offers American farm-to-table cuisine in a rustic setting. With multiple locations, including one near the Reston-Weihle Metro Stop, this spot prides itself on its seasonal ingredients and house-made breads. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes, such as Shrimp and Crab Fettucine and Southern Fried Chicken.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Founding Farmers in Reston is a must-visit! The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The meatloaf with string beans, mashed potatoes, and rich mushroom gravy was next-level and easily one of the best meatloaves I’ve ever had. The scallops with risotto were also a great pick, perfectly cooked and full of depth. The ambience, the decor, and the service were all top-tier. I’ll definitely be coming back this month to try more dishes this place was all that!

I visited this place some time ago, but the experience was memorable enough that I wanted to share it now. It had such a lively and modern atmosphere! The high ceilings with exposed industrial design, combined with warm lighting and stylish decor, gave the restaurant a trendy yet comfortable vibe. It felt casual enough for a coffee or brunch with friends, but also energetic enough for a fun dinner outing. The food was fresh, colorful, and full of flavor. Each dish was well-presented—from the vibrant salads to the hearty mains and perfectly brewed coffee. The portions were generous, and everything tasted balanced and satisfying. The latte was smooth and creamy, while the black coffee had a bold, rich flavor that paired beautifully with the meal. Service was quick and attentive despite the restaurant being quite busy, which made the dining experience even better. Even though some time has passed since my visit, I still remember it as a great spot for both food and atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good flavors and a buzzing, modern setting.

First time here, brought my daughter out for her birthday. We were seated immediately, no wait time. Great staff, Kevin was our waiter, nothing but kudos to him. He served us with politeness, took our orders correctly, kept coming back to take care of us and see if we needed anything, and helped us sing happy birthday as she cut her cake. 10/10 for him. A great asset to the restaurant. Food was excellent, hot, and consistent. Great location and we definitely will get back out there soon....

This was our first time at Founding Farmers and we loved it. We were a group of 4 and got seated very quickly. Our server, Darryl, was great and took very good care of us. The atmosphere was fun and festive. We were there for Sunday Brunch and the food was a wide variety and very tasty. All in all it was a great brunch experience. It was just a bit on the pricey side, but not all that bad.

My date and I have been coming to Founding Farmers regularly over the past couple of weeks, and every visit is made better thanks to Alyssa and John behind the bar. They always greet us warmly, make thoughtful recommendations on all the Happy Hour specials, and their attentiveness really stands out. Huge shoutout to Alyssa and John for creating such a great experience at the bar!

When I asked a friend where to eat in the area, Founding Farmers was top of the list for their brunch, with the warning to eat nothing before and plan not to eat for at least a day after, because you will be stuffed with the delicious food. And it was true! The brunch buffet had so many good things, from fried chicken to bacon on a stick to sticky sweet cinnamon rolls and soft serve ice cream and eggs and more, so many choices. Highly recommend coming and enjoying everything, and can't wait to come back

Sushi restaurant
Ariake Japanese Restaurant in Reston offers a delightful dining experience with its glass-walled interior and outdoor patio. The restaurant serves up a variety of Japanese dishes including sushi, noodles, and tempura. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special occasion, Ariake provides a comfortable atmosphere for any dining experience. With options like bento boxes, sushi bags, and an extensive list of sushi offerings, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Hidden find in Reston that will make you feel full and satisfied with the overall quality and quantity of the meal when you leave. We got their chirashi bowl that costs $33 but it's worth it as there are a variety of sashimi and a lot of it. The salmon and tuna rolls were also very good. The shrimp and vegetable tempura was decent; I wished the batter was lighter and crispier. Overall I had a very good and filling meal.
Ellen — Google review
First time in the Reston area and wanted to find out if Reston had Japanese/sushi game. Happy to report that Ariake passed my test with flying colors!! Ariake has a pretty extensive menu besides sushi. They offer Japanese favorites like tempura, teriyaki, katsu, and even donburi. Wifey ordered the fried oyster appetizer and Assorted Sashimi (15 pcs of sashimi) and I ordered the chicken katsu curry. We also added a few nigiri pieces: hamachi belly, unagi, and hotate (scallop). All of the nigiri and sashimi pieces were very fresh as the pictures can attest. It helped that this restaurant is quite busy, even on a Wednesday night, providing a quick turnover of sushi orders. It appeared that every table ordered some kind of sushi rolls and nigiri. Chicken Katsu curry was also quite delicious and definitely satisfied my curry cravings. Chicken was properly breaded with panko and fried to perfection. Curry sauce was made in-house and had a nice tangy, unique but familiar Japanese curry flavor. Wait staff was courteous and efficient, but don't expect them to engage in long conversations. Luckily, we were able to have small talk with one of their servers and she even recommended her favorite Thai restaurants in town! Only drawback for some people is that this restaurant can be quite loud owing to its popularity and lower ceilings. If I ever decide to move to this area, I can be assured that my Japanese food and sushi cravings will be met here.

I was born in Japan in October many moons ago! This year we went to Washington DC for my 3 day birthday trip, and I was hoping to eat at a Japanese restaurant, but not one in a shopping center or storefront. On the way to Dulles Airport we stopped in at the most quaint and authentic japanese looking atmosphere restaurant! It was so amazing!!! I was happy to get my favorite Sapporo Beer and the best hot sake I ever tasted! As I looked around the restaurant I noticed so many japanese customers! The food was so delicious and reasonably priced! I highly recommend this restaurant! The service was spectacular and so curtious! This was a real BIRTHDAY treat!

I really enjoyed their fresh and high quality sushi. Although it was a bit expensive, 10$ for one piece of toro, the piece itself was exceptionally delicious and the fish would just melt in your mouth. I do feel like however that I would have preferred a bit more rice for the sushi itself. The fish was quite a generous piece but the rice was so small. I also quite enjoyed the soba but I was really confused as to why they chose to separate the noodles in two parts for the presentation. The service was decent. I was first greeted by an enthusiastic and welcoming waitress but then I was served by a waiter that seemed lethargic for the rest of the night which was not as enjoyable. Even though they were polite and fast, they were quite unenthusiastic. I also enjoyed the wooden interior design. It was simple yet sophisticated and made you feel pretty cosy in my opinion.
Kid J — Google review
Always get the French kiss roll. It is not on the list, but if you know you know, and you can write it on top of the little ordering sheet that they give you they also have a good eggplant appetizer as well as very lightly fried tempura. The toro had a good rice to fish ratio as well. I mainly come here just for the specialty rolls since in my opinion that is what they specialize in but they have something for everyone. Nice stuff relatively quick service, but you do want to make a reservation because it gets very full very quickly even on weekday nights

I had an outstanding experience at Ariake Japanese sushi restaurant! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was impeccable. The staff's attention to detail and warm hospitality made the meal even more enjoyable. Only thing I didn’t like is that the staff kept keeping aside and looking at us while eating which made me uncomfortable. The food was great and we literally liked all the sushi and ramen we tried. Even the tempura was flavourful. My favourite was avocado sushi. Highly recommend for top-notch sushi and excellent service!

Very solid option for Japanese/Sushi. I especially like this spot for lunch. The prices and portions for lunch are both reasonable. Pretty much everything I have tried here (most of the menu) is good to very good. I especially like the Udon and Sushi lunch special. Staff and atmosphere are also both great 👍

Ariake in Reston has been our go-to sushi spot for years, and we always leave happy. The sushi is super fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently delicious. We love the cozy atmosphere with big windows that make it feel inviting and relaxed, perfect for both date nights and casual dinners. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure we have everything we need without hovering. Whether it’s the classic nigiri or one of their spicy rolls, every dish is on point, and the miso soup is always a comforting start. If you’re in Reston and craving quality Japanese food, Ariake is definitely worth a visit.

Water & Amusement Parks
Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole is a Western-themed water park located in Reston, VA. It features a variety of slides, flumes, and a lazy river that cater to children in elementary school as well as adults. The park is open during the warmer months and offers additional attractions such as a carousel and paddle boats. Visitors can expect attentive lifeguards, ample parking, and reasonable pricing.
Definitely a fun place to go with your family and we had so much fun! Pros: You can skip the line by paying for your tickets online. You can bring your own food! This saved us a money because I have picky but always hungry eaters 😂 Locker rooms and pools were very clean. Water slides, lazy river, splash pads all fun and spacious. Cons:Pool size and need more shady areas. I like that the pool is kid friendly but I have a tall family. (Husband 6'4,11yr old 5'0,17 yr 5'8, & 7yr old 4'0) I wish they had a pool that was 4ft to 6ft for adults and teens only. A paper bracelet to indicate they were allowed in that pool.

I saw this place on Instagram and decided let’s take a road trip boy am I glad we did first of all the park open on time so at tentative a girl even tried to get in with a smoking pipe and the young man at the door caught it and then she still tried to sneak in, and they kindly came up in line and asked her to remove it and was nice about it There were a lot of kids working at the park and they all were kind had no attitude and was helping everyone we stayed from 11 till to six and we never do that. My son said he had the time of his life and the fact that you can bring your own food made it even great. We were able to enjoy our food and purchase what we wanted it was affordable for families. I will recommend this park to all my friends and we would definitely take the drive again. The only issue I had while I was there a lot of ants as we sit they were crawling up my legs and a lot of the white chairs were broken, but we managed to find two that weren’t.

Was choosing between this and another one in Arlington thru NOVA parks and rec…this one was 2$ more BUT let’s you bring your own food and bev in! I feel like that’s such a rarity these days. We got there about 45 mins after opening, had to park a little further back but I didn’t think it was overly busy/crowded. I did buy my tickets online just because it seemed like the best idea based on other reviews. Staff was great! I loved how many lifeguards were on deck. Food is pricey there - as it usually is in places like that. I would recommend either bringing your own sort of shade or getting there early because it did seem to fill quickly especially under the umbrellas. Both of my kids had the best day, there was always something for them to do. Anything that had a line, staff moved thru efficiently. Experience definitely exceeded expectation!

The Reston water mine park is good and fairly clean. Staff are fine to good. It’s better to go on weekdays (check their website or call) because hot summer weekends can be very crowded. Some parts of the place need renovation.

Fun place to go with your family. My family and I had so much fun the few issues we had problems with 1. getting tickets the line was very long and they had one person working for some minutes until someone else came to help. So to avoid that long wait try and order the tickets online. 2. We could not get any chair or table to rest our things because they were all occupied. We had to bring back our stuff to the car and leave them there. If you bring your our chairs then you won't have that problem. Those are the few things you have to put in consideration when going there, but outside of that the place is fun. Theres alot of parking space available👍

A beautiful place I recommend it 100% The staff is very friendly and above all very organized. It is most convenient to buy tickets online.

Took our granddaughters today. We had a wonderful time. Ticket price are very reasonable for so many options of water play. Lazy River was great, clean, options to purchase food or bring your own. I was most impressed with the lifeguards, who carefully patrol every swimmer young and old. They were impressive! I was so grateful for two very nice guards who saw I needed a bit of help getting out of the water. So nice. Would recommend renting space under an umbrella canopy on sunny days which you need to do ahead of time. Will definitely bring our grandchildren back. Great family place for all!

NOVA Wild, a 30-acre non-profit zoo in Reston, has reopened with new management and exciting updates. The grand opening features The Great Migration light show with 800,000 LED lights and animal and habitat sculptures along a mile of trails. Visitors can enjoy interactive exhibits like animal feeding, wagon rides, pony rides, and encounters with more than 200 animals including lemurs, llamas, kangaroos, and pygmy goats.
Very fun experience! The drive-through safari was awesome (albeit a little scary to have a bisons head inside my car!). The food buckets are expensive, and they go fast ($20 a bucket; we went through 2 incredibly fast, should have gotten 4). The zoo itself was quant, and filled with very interesting creatures. Of course, the obvious comparison to the National Zoo, only a bit up the road, does come to mind. Though, the drive through safari and overall quiet manor of this attraction was worth it!

What a fun experience! We had the best day with the capybaras and sloths! We were able to feed them and pet them as well. Sidney, our guide, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She was so patient with our little boys. I highly recommend NOVA Wild. The rest of the complex and the drive thru was also enjoyable. We will be back!

Lots of nice animals! Super fun to feed the animals, but $20 for the medium-ish bucket of food seems like a bit much. Staff are very friendly. Signage is very clear. The actual entry fee is very reasonable for the experience at $21 per adult.

Brewery
Food & Drink
Nestled in Reston, Virginia, Lake Anne Brew House offers a cozy and elegant space with beautiful lakeside views from its deck. This nano brew taproom is a favorite local spot for enjoying flagship beers like Reston Red and Simon's Stout alongside seasonal releases. The brewery provides a quaint atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options, making it an ideal place to relax by the inlet of the lake.
Best beer and cider we have had in years. We tried the Kolsch, cranberry cider, juicy ipa, and marzen brews. My husband who does NOT like ciders ordered the cranberry cider. Impressive selection and clean crisp flavors with no bad aftertaste in any of their beverages. Their craft soda is delicious and wonderful. The vanilla lavender soda was a big hit. The room where we all met with our large group was small but it worked and was cozy. There are so many microbrew places in Northern Virginia. Do not skip this one. Put them at the top of your must visit list. We appreciate the knowledge and effort that went into every detail of their business. We love it here. Would give them 100 stars 🌟 if I could. Thank you for having our loud group and making us feel welcome.

Little quaint brewery located at Lake Anne waterfront. When I approached the place, my first impression was that it was located in somebody's basement. But opening the door, I was pleasantly surprised with clean and neat brewery and friendly greeting by the staff at the counter behind, which had about 10 taps all brewed in-store. The weather was a dampener. Otherwise, we could have sat on the deck by the river, sipping the drinks. Beer selection ranges from lighter to IPA to dark ones. They have cider, shandy, and Kombucha options, too. Food options are limited to nice, warm pretzels and some packaged snacks, which is expected in a small local brewery like this. The good news is they have a great neighbors serving good food like Lake Anne Coffee House and Kalypso. You can get the food ordered from there or bring your own food.
AK A — Google review
What a cozy brewery, tucked into the Village of Lake Anne this place is definitely worthy of visiting. The beer was clean and well done and, as a nice change, just simpler styles done right. The heater and fire on the patio were nice to see since sitting outdoors nowadays is a safer bet than indoors. The staff were friendly and the pretzels (Nordic Knot) were great. My only gripe would be that the take home options were very limited which means I can't take such good beer to go.

Small, quaint, great views, and perfectly balanced beers. The English Pale ale was ON point! Everything an English Pale ale should be. Light, just slightly hoppy and dry. The hefewizen was a nice middle of everything beer with nice bread and clove notes, and the IPAs were excellent. Dog friendly outside. While it's a little tight for seating, the views of the "lake" and people watching was very enjoyable. Lots of other shops in the community too. A total hidden gem, visit if you are in the area!

Really great spot. A hidden gem in a cozy residential area. Family friendly. Indoor + outdoor seating.

Realised that it is open between Thursday to Sunday - so will be back to the brew house soon!! However, walk around the lake was wonderful. Calm waters and so much activities happening around it! Perfect weekend place for sure - must be lit up then! Further review when I am back to the brew house 😍🍻 Yes we did! They served us the tasters and we chose few IPAs. The beer is good and we had a good time 🍻

Lake Anne is a quaint location which offers a nice spot to sit back and relax. I found this brewery by random Google map search and I'm glad I did. It is a small brewery but offers some nice seating both inside and outside. It is nestled around the inlet of the lake, which offers a nice atmosphere. They have some good beer options, including a shandy which can be mixed with several different options. Friendly staff and a fun time. Stop in for a beer and a pretzel, you will not be disappointed.

Great local spot with lake views - they have a good variety with what they have and scores on untappd equal to many other local breweries with a larger floorplan. Staff here have always been good too!

Makers Union is an upscale gastropub located in the burgeoning Metropolitan Park of Amazon. The pub offers a variety of comfort foods, with a bustling brunch featuring dishes like Maryland crab cake Benedict, mixed berry pancakes, and cornflake-crusted French toast. In addition to their regular menu items such as burgers, salads, chicken tenders, and nachos, Makers Union also serves non-alcoholic birthday nerds slushees alongside alcoholic versions with vodka.
Before we get into the food let me just talk about Jack M our waiter. He was awesome! He was a great addition to a great meal. Jack made great suggestions and we accepted each one willingly. He had knowledge about the items we order and just great conversation. If you go look for Jack!!! He will make the meal 20% better. Now for my meal, every dish from the appetizers to the dessert were excellent, the lamb lollipops were delicious. I needed the dinner portion, but settled for the appetizer, then the wings were fried to perfection. Don’t asked me why, but I offered the chicken in waffle and ended up with a table full of chicken. But i didn’t complain because each chicken had a different taste! Then to top it off with the bread pudding had me rolling out the seat!!! Yes, I highly suggest this restaurant and Pythia location.

This was our first visit to Makers Union. Just two of us on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was nice, and service team was attentive but sometimes a little too attentive. The food was delicious, they gave generous portions of salmon and ham! I had the salmon poke bowl and my husband had ham and eggs, we shared an appetizer of spinach and artichokes and sparkling water and my husband had mimosas. Overall it was a bit pricey but enjoyed the food in a nice restaurant and we plan to return.

After flying in from London, I was absolutely starving and wanted to find some good food close to the hotel. I decided to come to Makers Union as the menu online appealed to me, especially when I saw the chicken and waffles. A friendly lady sat me down at my booth, and I looked over the menu to decide what to have. I was then greeted by one of the best servers I’ve had in a long while (Shoutout to you Reef), who took my order with so much energy and charisma, which made me smile and gave the best first impressions for the rest of my experience. Like I saw on the menu, I went for the chicken and waffles, to which Reef warned me that most people are unable to finish it in one sitting…well after my flight I was up for the challenge. Before receiving my meal, I went for the 20oz cider, which was really good in itself. Once I got my main, I was absolutely shocked at the sheer size of the plate, and could definitely see what Reef meant. Well, I can proudly say I beat even the locals at their own game, as I finished the whole thing, leaving just bone and the batter. The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious, and they went so well together despite family at home telling me I was crazy to mix the two. After my main, I decided to have my first ever key lime pie too, which I was told was made in house. This was extremely delicious and sweet, but my gosh I regretted eating so much haha. All in all, my experience at makers union was fantastic! The food was amazing, the service was beyond perfect, and the atmosphere was nice. I also loved my chat with Reef. Will definitely be back in the future!

All in all a very good experience for five people dinner. Would go again for sure. Fried chicken was delicious and just right. Burger was very tasty and juicy but the bread couldn’t hold the juice from the burger. Chicken wings were pretty tasty. Mac n Cheese was delicious.

We went for brunch and I’d say it was just ok. We sat a a high top table and the bartender was our waiter: he was too overwhelmed so service was slow. I got the breakfast nachos, hot honey chicken fingers and roasted Brussel sprouts: just ok. I had their Bloody Mary drink and it was all tomatoes juice. The atmosphere was great but the food and service sub-par

Excellent place for Sunday brunch! They offer a freshly made brunch buffet. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and is nicely decorated. The food was delicious. Our waitress was excellent!!! Free Parking (weekend) was available at a nearby garage.

We had a wonderful brunch at Makers Union! The inside vibes looked incredibly stylish, but being a nice day we chose to enjoy our brunch outdoors. Daniel, our wait staff was friendly and amazing! The mimosas, avocado toast, and Makers Scramble - all were delish!

Went there on Father's Day and waited for 50 minutes beyond our reservation time for a party of 8. It was very hectic. But once we got a table the server was nice and attentive. The food was overall very good. My favorite dishes were the brussel sprouts, steak and french fries. The classic burger was decent as was the crab cake benedict and pancakes.

Lake
Lake Anne is a charming tree-lined reservoir located in a residential area, offering various activities such as boating, strolling along the promenade, and dining at waterfront eateries. It serves as a waterfront village with shopping, dining options, and numerous events and social gatherings. The picturesque lake was designed with inspiration from European cities in France, adding an elegant and tranquil touch to the area.
Regarding the Lake Anne Plaza (Google doesn't refer to it specifically) it is artsy, a bit quirky, and definitely one of a kind.

This place is absolutely stunning! With its picturesque architecture and charming streets, it’s a photographer’s dream. It’s also a hub of activity, brimming with small businesses, art galleries, and delicious food. And let’s not forget its rich history, which adds to its allure. The farmers market is a must-visit, offering a vibrant atmosphere and an abundance of fresh produce. The trails are equally impressive, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a scenic bike ride. Even paddle boats are available for a fun and unique experience. Whether you’re looking for a romantic date, a family outing, or a cozy night in, this place has something for everyone. I highly recommend it over Reston Town Center.

Lake Anne is a peaceful, scenic spot that beautifully blends nature with a sense of community. The calm water reflects the trees and sky like a mirror, and the walking paths, local cafés, and art around the lake make it a perfect place to relax, stroll, or simply sit and take in the view. Whether you’re there for quiet reflection or a casual outing, Lake Anne offers a gentle charm that lingers.

Located in Reston Town Center, the eatery is famous for its homemade gourmet Pop Tarts available in flavors like strawberry, salted caramel, brown sugar & cinnamon, and blueberry cheesecake. The dining experience at Ted's Bulletin is considered upscale with fast service and high-quality ingredients.
We always have a fantastic experience at Ted’s Bulletin! The food is consistently delicious, and we never skip ordering a side of their incredible French toast — it’s a must-try! Our server, Oslin, was wonderful — professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our meal. Highly recommend visiting, especially if you’re in the mood for comfort food done right. Don’t miss the French toast!

Ted's Bulletin at Reston Town Center is a fantastic dining spot that showcases modern American fare. Its prime corner placement sets this location apart, allowing plenty of natural light to fill the main dining area through the large street-facing windows. Breakfast here is not just a meal; it's an invigorating experience that energizes my day. The food is consistently cooked to perfection and packed with flavor, and I've noticed an impressive upgrade in their dishes since my last visit, featuring fresher and healthier ingredients. The excellent service complements the inviting atmosphere, perfectly capturing a classic old charm.

Ted’s Bulletin in Reston is absolutely wonderful! The outdoor seating is beautifully decorated with flowers, creating such a charming and inviting atmosphere. The service is outstanding — very friendly and incredibly fast. The coffee is excellent, the portions are huge, and everything tastes fresh and flavorful. I especially loved the steak and cheese and the Norwegian Benedict — both were perfect. The kids’ meal was fantastic as well, which made the whole family happy. This location really stands out with its warm atmosphere, delicious food, and top-notch service. Highly recommended

I always like Ted’s Bulletin, their salads are light and healthy, and the portions are big. This time I ordered the Lobster Cobb Salad, which was a big portion of green mix salad, half an avocado, and two deviled eggs, which was very nutritious. I am afraid of salads that are too salty, but this lobster salad was great and completely in line with the healthy principle. Highly recommended.

I came to Ted's Bulletin for the first time last year. The quality of the food and atmosphere of the restaurant was incredible. Ted's Bulletin is now a staple for me. Whenever I travel to Reston, VA I always make sure to stop by Ted's before I travel back home. Just came back to Ted's this morning for breakfast. The peach Bellini is my absolute favorite. This place have outdoor and indoor area, look cozy inside and out but I sit outside as the lovely weather on the day. It was not too busy when I was there ( the photos were taken late after dinner time, so they have people in the restaurant before I took the photos ) pretty much after everyone almost left. I was not hungry but just wanted to try some of their food so I only ordered starter and it was gorgeous then more drinks afterwards. Staff are friendly, good experience for me. And I love their hot chocolate it was not in the photos uploaded as I was enjoying too much and down it quickly!

Cafesano is a casual Italian-Mediterranean eatery that offers lunch, dinner, and takeout options. Situated by Lake Thoreau, this bright and spacious restaurant provides a delightful ambiance for waterside dining. Their menu boasts a range of delectable dishes inspired by both Italy and the Mediterranean region. Using fresh vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, and an array of herbs and spices, Cafesano creates flavorful traditional meals made to order.
The penne arrabbiata was delicious. The restaurant has great lighting with big windows overlooking the lake. You order your food at the counter and pay upfront so there is no host or server. The staff was polite and friendly!

An interesting discovery in the Reston area. Welcoming and very nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The outside seating is very pleasant as well. I immediately noted the cleanliness of the entire area, keep it up. We tried mostly the paninis and they were good. They lacked a bit of seasoning. Having an extensive Mediterranean background and having owned a Lebanese restaurant, I opted not to try any of the platters this first visit. We took hummus and baba ghannouj for appetizers and not only was the portion way too small but the taste was not authentic, not even close. It is a casual place with great potential. I will try some of the platters next visit.

I indulged in a delightful Salmon Kabob, perfectly grilled to enhance its rich flavors. It was artfully arranged on a plate alongside fluffy basmati rice, which was fragrant and delicately seasoned. The dish also featured a colorful medley of grilled vegetables, their vibrant hues glistening with a charred finish, and a refreshing garden salad, crisp and light. Accompanying it all were warm, pillowy pita bread and a luscious tzatziki sauce, creamy and cool, adding a delightful tang to each bite.

We frequent the Sterling location all the time, but don't mind the extra drive to the South Lakes Village spot when we're craving some Mediterranean. We tend to stick with our favorites—the steak shawarma wrap, alfredo pasta, and steak kebab platter—and they’re consistently great. What really sets this location apart is the setting. The lakeside views from the patio add a relaxing, scenic backdrop that makes the meal feel just a little more special. Whether you're dining inside or out, the atmosphere is calm and inviting. Service is always friendly and efficient, and the quality of the food remains top notch. This Reston location just adds a little extra ambiance that makes the visit worth it.

CafeSano is our go to Mediterranean restaurant. We have been here several times, food is consistent and every time we like it. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and ambience is excellent. This one is near to lake so if you happen to be there during day time you are going to love overall views from the restaurant. Food is delicious as well, they have both veg and non veg options in Pizzas, wraps, pastas and Panini sandwiches. Their pizzas are amazing we have tried Margarita and Greek pizza both are vegetarian and good ..served at right temperature. We also order hummus w pita, chicken swarma wrap and chicken kabab platter which was served with basmati rice. Overall great food in good price…I will visit again.

Delicious foods, I can say mostly healthy style foods, with a great variety of options to choose from. The restaurant was clean, and the employees and servers were nice. Indoor and outdoor seats are available. Their service is fast enough, and their prices are reasonable for what you receive. The location is nice, very close to the lake, but with a limited direct view of the lake.

The Reston Regional Library, situated in Reston, Virginia, is a public library that offers an array of amenities to its visitors. These include a diverse collection of reading materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. If you're seeking a tranquil environment to enjoy your preferred books, this library is an excellent choice. It boasts moderate dimensions and possesses an admirable team of librarians who ensure the facility remains clean and serene. The atmosphere typically avoids excessive crowding.
Finally was able to visit the library after it re-opemed after it's refresh. It's nice, very clean and useable and welcoming. There's obviously tons of books, but computers and other resources as well, I saw a sign about 3D printing even. The kids section has tons of books for whatever age and interests your kids have, fiction or nonfiction, and there's even a librarian nearby to help
Benjamin B — Google review
The library itself is mostly fine and a convenient place to pickup a book, but it is one of the loudest and most disruptive environments I could imagine for a library. People are frequently on loud phone calls, playing phone speakers, and loudly shouting among themselves. There doesn't seem to be any enforcement of any noise limits. This, unfortunately despite it being a library, makes is an unpleasant space to actually read or study.
Robert — Google review
Worst library ever. The children’s section is right next to the main entrance, which has an automatic door that opens easily when a child gets close. There’s also a shelter next to the library, and homeless people come in frequently. If you’re looking for a book, no one helps you — you have to search for it yourself while also keeping an eye on your child to make sure they don’t wander out. It’s honestly scary to think someone could grab your child. There are no toys or activities to keep little ones entertained while you browse. Worst library ever!

Excellent library with friendly staff. The checkout kiosks are upgraded. The holds are well maintained and very useful for quick checkout. There is security in staff always, there is shelter nextdoor. So there are people around struggling with homelessness. The staff are excellent to deal with any situation and friendly with all. Get kids reading early and a lot. Best thing one can do for them. Lots of graphic novels enjoyable for teens and adults as well. It's blessing all of us have access to nice libraries to keep up with reading all the wonderful books.

Horrible place, even being next to a police station. Was ripped off 300 dollars on Sunday, March 17, on a Sunday on saint patricks day, because of shady staff and lack of security. Library lets users log on and sync google profiles and this feature alone will have staff help scammers get peoples credentials. Scammer easily sees your screen, gets on your PC via PayPal, then adds their bank account to PayPal. Scammer went on my PC after leaving it to go print. Scammer sits on your PC with you thinking it's theirs, switches your stuff around when you go print. I know because when I went to get my glasses it was at the scammers desk, meaning he switched PCs with my PC leading to confusion. It's a tall skinny looking white hippie guy with brown hair and a hair bun. Scammer jumps on your PC when you go to print, switches your stuff to another PC. You'll think Staff logged you out. Staff has Google sync and not incognito mode available. You can basically, sync your Google account at this library, completely giving yourself to hackers. STAFF sees nothing happening with scammers due to computers laughingly behind help desk, which is facing towards an exit and a seating area for scammers to watch from afar, multiple users. Prying eyes are at this library, BEWARE.

i needed to print some documents so i could move forward with my new job but don't have a printer so i figured there must be something at the library. not only is there a printer available (15 cents a page which is pretty cheap honestly) but as i was trying to figure out how to work it one of the librarians came over and explained what to do and how to use the computers as a guest since i didn't have a card. he was very nice and friendly! 10/10 staff they answered all my questions and were very helpful

The staff's expertise in wine shines through exceptional service, making it a haven for wine lovers. We had an absolutely spectacular time here. Nikki our server was so friendly and warm! They explained to us the history of the restaurant and the concept which was super cool. They went above and beyond to offer us extras to go with our meal, and also recommended some great drinks. The food was scrumptious, we loved it so much, that we made a second visit in the very same week. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend sixty vines for a great time and yum food! ❤️

We went here late Saturday evening and the vibe was pretty nice. Great service and their kitchen is open until they are open unlike closing 30 minutes or so early like many other places. We visited during the summer time. Outside sitting was nice with comfortable weather and decoration. We order several dishes; appetizers and entrees. Everything was delicious, fresh, and presentable except white pizza. It is probably not my cup of tea. My husband had a similar thought about pizza tho. So I don’t really recommended a pizza plate. Overall, food was great! Service was amazing, and atmosphere was phenomenal.

Sixty Vines in Reston delivers a refined dining experience with both quality and atmosphere. Their pizza is excellent — perfectly balanced with a crisp, flavorful crust and thoughtful toppings that make it stand out from typical wine-bar fare. The egg Benedict is another highlight, rich yet clean in flavor, with precision in execution that makes it memorable. The restaurant itself is spacious and stylish, designed to feel open and inviting, with the added advantage of their signature wine-on-tap program that complements the food beautifully. Service is attentive without being intrusive, which helps the overall experience feel elevated but relaxed. Sixty Vines is more than a wine spot — it’s a destination for consistently well-made dishes, especially their pizza and brunch offerings.

Friendly restaurant that is great for families, friends and dates. They have a varied range of wines in tap that you can order half a glass, full glass and bigger. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower that comes with a delicious roasted eggplant dish and pita. The beet and goat cheese salad is also good. The pappardelle with slow roasted pork was very good. However you have to wait to get your drinks. The food came out all at once, a bit too quickly so I had to ask the server to reheat the pasta that came out with the appetizers for some reason.

This park has been the backdrop for so many special moments in my life, from weddings and engagement parties to my daughter’s second birthday. Over the years, I’ve seen newborns, kids, parents, and grandparents all celebrating and making lasting memories here. The location is excellent, with easy access to major roads like Reston Parkway, Wiehle Avenue, and Route 7. If you ever forget something or need to grab extra supplies during an event, North Point Shopping Center is right across the street and easy to walk to. Parking is simple and close to everything. There are two handicap spaces, plenty of regular parking spots, and extra street parking around the loop in front of the park. From the parking areas, wide, freshly paved sidewalks lead you right into the park and connect to the pavilion, the kids’ playground, the restroom area, and beyond into Reston’s 55+ miles of walkable paths. It’s easy to get around and enjoy the space on foot. The pavilion is one of the best features. The entire floor and surrounding walkways are brick, which gives it a clean and classic look. A beautiful portico with vines wraps around the structure, creating a charming atmosphere that’s perfect for photos and gatherings. There are several grills available for cooking, a water spigot for easy clean-up or refills, and plenty of picnic tables that you can arrange to fit your event. There’s also a large grassy area that works well for sports, games, or just relaxing. Off to the side, there’s a shaded kids’ playground tucked nicely under a canopy of trees. Two benches in the park were donated by The Geel Family in memory of two couples, which adds a meaningful community touch. While it would be nice to have a permanent restroom facility instead of portable toilets, this park still deserves a full five stars. It’s one of my favorite outdoor spaces in Reston for hosting events and making memories.

Lovely pavilion in a park setting with lots of trees and nature. Reasonable parking for the size. Good value too re the rental fee if you're a resident within RA boundaries. My neighbor held a small wedding there. Perfect for smaller gatherings (50 or less). There's also a play area for little ones. It's on a major walking trail so expect people to walk around the pavilion's edge, and occasionally through it, though most folks will be considerate and stay along the perimeter and everyone y ou meet is very nice.

Nice pavilion, lots of shade, picnic tables, running water fountain for a quick drink. There is a small playground a short walk from the pavilion and a grassy area to play lawn games. There are also 2 porta potties if the need arises.

It is a great park pavilion - under the trees with a very high roof so the air can rush through. Lots of picnic tables, two big bbq grills. A very enjoyable place to have a picnic.

Thai restaurant
Tiki bar
Tiki Thai is a vibrant restaurant and tiki bar located in Reston, VA. The menu offers a variety of Thai noodle and rice dishes, as well as fruity cocktails and beers. Dishes range from coconut shrimp and chicken satay to ginger teriyaki chicken and lychee duck curry. The restaurant's tropical ambiance makes it an ideal spot for enjoying craft cocktails while imagining yourself on a tropical island.
Tiki Thai never disappoints! My husband and I went on a busy Friday evening with no reservation and were able to be seated immediately. I got my favorite dish, the drunken noodles with tofu, and he got the spicy basil with chicken. We both got drinks and they were very well made. Our service was great, per usual and we love the atmosphere and open concept of the restaurant. This is one of our local favorites and we will definitely be back!!

This is a very popular Thai restaurant in the Reston area. That place has several outstanding eating places but the restaurant more than holds it own against the stiff competition We went during the busy lunch hour and had a short wait of about 5 minutes. Despite the rush, the waitress was quite efficient in terms of taking order and serving them. The food was great. Generous portions and quite tasty. Prices on the higher side but expected. Most of the dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan. Overall a great dining experience.

Very nice Thai place next to Reston town center. Probably our favorite part was the decor and atmosphere. Really nice on a Friday night with good weather. They had all the windows and doors open and the patio seating is fantastic. They had a firepit going outside with couples drinking cocktails. Great vibe. Food was good - simple pad Thai and Panang curry. But no thrills or special prep. Food was probably a notch slightly below the atmosphere. Good but not excellent. Service was very friendly. Overall recommend for basic Thai food and nice atmosphere particularly if you can sit outside in the patio.

The atmosphere and vibe here are amazing, and I really loved the drinks. That said, they are quite pricey—as is the food. We ordered two appetizers, two entrées, and three drinks, and the bill came out to just under $200 at lunchtime. Unfortunately, the appetizers weren’t to our taste, but the main entrées were excellent and definitely worth coming back for. Next time, I’d skip the starters and just order an entrée to go, while probably grabbing drinks elsewhere. Service was excellent, and the ambience is fantastic—overall, I’d give it four stars.
Shanntell — Google review
Good Thai restaurants in the reston area! The ambiance is incredible - super spacious with tons of seating, and it has this modern yet cozy vibe. The bar area is lively, with a lot of people hanging out, grabbing drinks, and just chilling. It’s a great spot for a casual night out or even a fun dinner with friends. We tried the Cry Baby Noodles, dumplings, fried rice, and tofu wings - everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The portions were generous and presentation was on point. A special shoutout to their dessert - it comes with a sparkler candle if you ask them if someone is celebrating their birthday and it’s such a cool touch! Totally Instagram-worthy. Whether you’re looking for a chill bar scene or a quality meal, Tiki Thai is a spot I’d highly recommend for date nights, group dinners, or just treating yourself to authentic Thai flavors.

Great atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. Tiki drinks are good. Had the Mai Tai and the Tiki Shot. Had the Pad Zee U with chicken. Big portion, very flavorful, the noodles were very soft, more than I'm used to but it was really good.

Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. The service was good, but there are some opportunities to improve its quality. The portion sizes and taste of the food were great, and the decorations were beautiful. The Bar was amazing.
Shampod C — Google review
Stopped in for dinner during a work trip. Was so good I went back the following night! I sat at the bar the first night as the bartenders were super helpful with food suggestions. The Tom Sum salad is awesome (had it both nights) though it’s a bit spicy so be prepared or order it less spicy. The Akil’s Old Fashioned was amazing! For my main meal I had the Tai Curry one night and the Drunken Noodles the second, each with chicken. Both were really tasty though I have to say the Tai Curry was my favorite even though I forgot to get a picture!! Both do run a bit spicy though so be mindful when ordering. I love the spice level but know it would have been too much for my wife. Overall amazing food and drinks with great service in both the bar and dining area. I will definitely be back!!

"Heirloom" is a hidden gem with excellent food and top-notch service. The atmosphere is trendy and elegant, making it a great place to dine. While some patrons had issues with the bartenders' drink-making skills, others found the drinks to be flavorful and unique. The chef's creations are creative and well-executed, leaving diners excited for what's next on the menu.
It took me a while to write this review because I wanted to capture the entire experience—and it truly was an unforgettable one. We chose Heirloom for my birthday dinner with close friends and family, and the entire evening was fantastic from start to finish. The restaurant has an elegant yet relaxed vibe with its speakeasy setting, and the staff made us feel welcomed right away. A special shout-out to Sarah, the manager, who stopped by our table personally to greet us—such a wonderful touch that set the tone for the evening. We shared a variety of dishes, and every single one was exceptional: Chopped Salad – Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced with the creamy parmesan vinaigrette and focaccia croutons. Bourbon Glazed Pork Belly – Melt-in-your-mouth perfection, paired with creamy potato risotto and buttery cabbage. Tuna Carpaccio – Light and refined, with a delicate smoked tonnato sauce and the right amount of acidity. Oysters Rockefeller – Rich, smoky, and absolutely indulgent. Red Wine Braised Short Rib – Fall-apart tender with a perfect horseradish potato puree. Black Pepper Crusted Yellowfin Tuna – Perfectly seared and bursting with flavor. Dry Aged Roasted Chicken – Juicy and perfectly complemented by mustard jus and grilled lemon. For drinks, we tried several cocktails: Barrel-Aged Maple Old Fashioned – Smooth and balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. Eagle Eye Rye Gimlet – Refreshing, with a hint of vanilla and saline that made it unique. Luigi vs. Mario – A playful, flavorful Negroni-style drink. Bees Knees – Light, aromatic, and beautifully presented with honey foam. Desserts were the perfect finale: Sticky Toffee Pudding – Warm, rich, and buttery. Apple Cobbler – Comforting and delicious with vanilla ice cream. Chocolate Hazelnut Dome – Gorgeous presentation and indulgent flavor. From start to finish, everything—from the ambiance and food to the service—was flawless. Heirloom is easily one of the best dining experiences in Reston, and we can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

I visited Heiloom with my wife for a special occasion, based on a recommendation from a friend. For appetizers, we had the burrata cheese and oysters Rockefeller, and for the main courses, we chose the Chilean sea bass and braised short ribs. Overall, we were very pleased with the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. However, if we were to visit again, there are two things we would hope to see improved. First, while the recipes for the sea bass steak, short ribs, and oysters were excellent, but all the dishes were overcooked. Cooking ingredients that should be juicy and moist until they are dry. We hope they don't just settle for good recipes, but also ensure that those recipes result in perfectly cooked, delicious meals. Second, our table was unstable. It wobbled every time I pressed down on my food with a knife.

Speakeasy restaurant within the Open Road Distilling Company in Reston Town Center. Suitable for special occasions, food and service were on point. PHENOMENAL ambience, but we went on busy day and it was very noisy. The restaurant’s acoustics made it difficult to have a conversation while competing against other tables’ talking and the restaurant’s music.

Delicious, quality food and cocktails in a hidden location with a luxurious and cozy vibe. The bramble was sweet and very good while the sunset in Reston has a strong kick due to the habanero syrup. Sparks of joy was fun to watch and delicious! The gnocchi was so light and the sauce was very creamy and flavorful. Highly recommend!
Ellen — Google review
This is a "WOW" experience restaurant. Don't try to find Heirloom by walking around Reston Town Center - you have to just know where to go - but it's easy enough to find on line. When we arrived, we were escorted to an unmarked door that led into the restaurant. The booths provided plenty of privacy for our party, and we were met by a very amiable and attentive staff. But the food! I started with Caesar Salad, which had a wonderfully flavorful dressing. The white anchovies provided an authentic accent to an otherwise creamy texture, all coming together for a great starter. The memory that will forever stay with me was from the gnocchi I ordered for my main course. I've had gnocchi in some of the finest restaurants in the US as well as in Italy, but these were absolutely the lightest, most melt-in-your-mouth gnocchi I've ever tasted ... even better than the ones my aunt in Italy made by hand for me years ago. And it didn't just end with that; the spicy sausage ragout was a taste sensation, with creamy ricotta to balance the boldness of the sauce, and a bit of broccolini to tease my teeth with a bit of crunch. Fabulous! Our charming and helpful waitress made the birthday I was celebrating even more special with a perfectly decorated dessert, and even a complimentary Champagne cocktail to put a perfect finishing touch on the evening. One final note: if you are a wine drinker, don't miss some of the unique selections on their list. I thoroughly enjoyed the Super Tuscan.
Charlie W — Google review
Definitely tricky to find but don't get frustrated, it's by design. Pop into the nearest restaurant and ask to be led to Heirloom. Inside you'll find dim lighting with a long bar and medium-sized dining room. Serving mostly elevated plates, but not to the point of being pretentious. Prices were decent given the food quality, plating presentation and the portion size. A relatively short menu, but that means that many if not all of the items have been nearly perfected. The focaccia was the best I've ever had. like someone took the most buttery flavorful part of a pan pizza and sent it to culinary school 😄. A decent list of wines and relatively small but nice options for a craft cocktail including a rotating seasonal variety and even a "dealers choice". This restaurant is easy to miss, but not to be missed. I'll certainly be back to taste more of the menu.
Ryan P — Google review
The focaccia bread starter and the duck main course were absolutely delicious. I would also highly recommend the Chilean sea bass for anyone who enjoys seafood. The service was excellent— the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and offers helpful suggestions on dishes that pair well together.

One mark of an exceptional restaurant is it’s ability to receive constructive feedback and make the necessary changes. This is absolutely one of those restaurants. My wife and I went to Heirloom for the first time in August and we had an okay experience. I listed my concerns in a previous review and this wonderful place listened and corrected HARD. We went back this weekend and had a perfect time. The food was flawless, the drinks were spectacular (as always), and the service was the perfect combination of quick and personable. I had a good amount of things to say last time I wrote a review but this last visit leaves me literally speechless. I have no doubt we will be visiting again often and looking forward to each visit. Huge shout out to the team and thank you Sam!

The Reston Community Center is more than just a building; it's a vibrant hub of cultural and recreational activities for all ages. From theater performances and art exhibitions to swimming sessions and community events, this dynamic space offers a blend of culture, learning, and recreation. The Center Stage hosts various shows and presentations with ample seating providing good views of the stage. Additionally, the spacious public area is available for community events. The center also offers swimming lessons taught by dedicated instructors like Mr.
This is the Reston Community Center that has the Center Stage, where you can see a variety of shows and other presentations. The stage has ample angled seating on a slight incline, all with good views of the stage. Inside the other public part of the Center is spacious and available for community event space. There are beautiful walkways to the main entrance from two parking lots: one very large one that's accessible to most of the shops and the other, smaller one, primarily residential. From my own experience, I recommend parking in the large lot and walking between Ledo's and Buffalo Wing Factory to get to the Community Center.
Erica B — Google review
We rented the main party room at this community center, and while the space itself was beautiful and spacious, our overall experience was terrible. The staff was aggressive and completely unhelpful, making it difficult to enjoy the event. One of the biggest issues was the sound system. We were not allowed to use our own equipment, and their system was awful—low volume and poor quality. We could barely hear the music, which completely ruined the atmosphere of our party. To make matters worse, the venue had a range of stage lights, party lights, and flashers, but they remained off for the entire event. Despite multiple requests to turn them on, the staff ignored us, making the party feel dull and lifeless. Additionally, they imposed strict and unreasonable restrictions, even requiring little kids to stay only within the rented space, which was poorly defined. The only way to tell the boundaries was by looking at where the wood flooring ended and the carpet began. Overall, this was by far the worst and extremely disappointing venue we have ever rented. The poor service, terrible sound system, and lack of lighting made the party a complete letdown. We will never rent this place again and do not recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free event.

Overall, great place to come for hobbies and activities for people of all ages. With that being said, I mainly utilize their aquatic center. Today, I was there waiting for my session to start. There was a kid, not listening to the instructors and exhibiting unsafe behavior. The head lifeguard walked over to the child after watching him consistently. Ignore his instructors instructions and told the child to stop the unsafe behavior. This isn’t verbatim, but basically, that is what he was telling the child. He did not yell at the child. He did not insult the child. He spoke to the child in a soft, but Serious tone. I saw or heard nothing wrong that the lifeguard said to the child. The mom got extremely upset and started yelling at the lifeguard and saying rude things to him. None of his colleagues stood up for him, but I’m assuming they were too stunned to speak. I almost stepped in, but did not. She demanded to know his name, and if I remember correctly, I think he said his name was Steve or Stephen. Regardless, he did nothing wrong and he should’ve never been yelled at and treated that way by this parent. Even after the class concluded, her children were not listening to simple instructions to get out of the pool. The kids weren’t even listening to their own mother. She had to repeatedly tell them to get out of the pool. So if they are not even listening to their mother, why is it so hard for her to believe that her kids weren’t listening to the instructors and doing unsafe things in the pool? If she thinks the way this lifeguard spoke to her kid was “bad”, she is going to have a rude awakening. Once her kids finally reach school age. There are teachers that have low tolerance for bad behavior and we’ll speak to them even worse. I can tell from how she acted, that she probably enables bad behavior at home. I just wanted to write this because the way she acted was extremely disturbing and I already know that she probably planned on speaking with a manager. Again, this lifeguard did and said nothing wrong. I was literally standing there front and center and saw everything. Kudos to him for standing his ground and keeping his cool. If her child would’ve gotten hurt because of the unsafe behavior, he was doing doing, then she would have blamed the lifeguards or the instructors for not telling her child to stop.

they have a piano in the center room, but when I asked they said I cannot play it, and there are no opportunities for anyone to play it. I don't have space at home for a piano. To have this space and a piano, but not let anyone play it.... What is the point of even having it? It is a complete waste of a fairly nice grand piano, it will just sit there and decay.

We reserved 4 rooms 2 months in advance, but every time we call in for question we get different answers. What a disappointment for my daughter! I saw the ad saying free art for kids and it most definitely said ornament making today 11/30. We drove half an hour because my daughter said she wanted to do this more than the library today. There is NO parking anywhere close by. We parked on the side of a very busy and dangerous road and I got both kids out and in the stroller in 30 degree weather only to be told that they weren't making ornaments today, but next week. Google says the building is accessible, that is also untrue. There are stairs to get inside, no ramp. Don't waste your precious time.

The workers at Clyde’s were courteous and they did followed through with their Covid19 protocols and they were excellent servants! It will be soo disappointing to see the Clyde’s Restaurant close! This French cafe chain in the Spectrum at Reston Town Center delivers an outstanding breakfast experience, a fantastic selection of espresso beverages, and delectable French countryside fare, all at very reasonable prices. The charming old-country-style interior with a fireplace and captivating posters creates a warm atmosphere that enhanced our visit. The service is impressively quick and friendly. The avocado toast is a standout, topped with smashed avocado and balsamic vinaigrette on Turano bread, while the French country breakfast is hearty and satisfying. The lattes are creamy and satisfying. The waffle was soft, fluffy, and tasted perfect with blueberry syrup and cream cheese filling. Plus, the ample parking right in front of the cafe makes it convenient to enjoy breakfast here. I can’t wait to return and indulge in their French pastries and sweet treats soon!

Wanted to grab something quick on my work break and liked the menu offerings. I was not disappointed. The restaurant is a cross between a cafeteria style/bakery ordering and a cozy rustic atmosphere, with lots of seating in different rooms that make it feel more private and personal away from other crowds. The employees were super kind and gave me recommendations on dinner choices. I got the croque monsieur and seasonal chicken salad and both were delicious and exactly what I was looking for. The pricing was affordable. And the bakery still had dessert options despite being 1 hour to close. I really liked this place for my first time there, will definitely be back as there were so many options on their menu and bakery that I wanted to try. Definitely recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ La Madeleine in Reston is a hidden gem for French-inspired comfort food! The fruit tarts were fresh and absolutely divine sweet, tart, and buttery perfection. The Chicken Madeleine was rich and flavorful, and both the French onion soup and vegetable soup hit the spot, savory, hearty, and full of depth. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the seating layout, some tables are a bit too close together, which can feel cramped during busier hours when everyone is trying to get by with their food trays. But overall, the food service and cozy vibe make it worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back! 🍽️🇫🇷

Free breads service was gone but without kids, I don’t need it so that’s ok. I got latte which was delicious! Strawberry crape was a little too sweet and too much cream inside but it was ok.my husband’s omelette was good. I still like the place because it feels cozy and looks like a little cafe in France!

Great place. We came here to grab a cake. The atmosphere was very welcoming.

The ordering process is confusing, I'm still not sure I fully understand how it works. Some signage would be helpful for us first time visitors. I ordered a Lorraine Quiche and Chai Tea Latte. The latte was delicious! I was disappointed with the quiche because the bottom crust was either undercooked or soggy. I ate the filling only, which was also under seasoned for me. Despite my first visit not being the best, I would like to give them another try.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service during my recent visit to your establishment. Unfortunately, the experience was not only disappointing but also extremely concerning. The overall attitude of the staff was rude, and the behavior of a senior lady waitress, in particular, was completely unprofessional. She was loud, aggressive, and her mannerisms were abnormal and disrespectful. What’s more troubling is the underlying tone of racism that was clearly acknowledged during the interaction. Such discriminatory behavior has no place in any environment, especially in a customer-facing business. I urge you to take this feedback seriously and investigate the matter thoroughly. No customer should have to face hostility or prejudice while dining

Kalypsos Sports Tavern offers a variety of Mediterranean dishes, perfect for dog-owners. The restaurant overlooks the water and has a full bar. It's a great place to enjoy dinner with friends or family.
The service is great. They take great care in food prep. If you love lamb they do it right. And they're constantly making the menu better and better. And what's better than great food and great service on the patio overlooking Lake Anne?

From planning to the night of our event, Kalypsos was the perfect venue. The staff was so thoughtful and attentive and they made our 25th reunion very special. The food and drinks were great. I highly recommend them for your event, whether a special dinner or a large party. Lester was our main POC and he was so easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank you! We hope to be back soon.

Had a pleasant dinner here last weekend. The food was solid - my salmon was cooked well and my partner enjoyed their pasta dish. Prices were reasonable for what you get. The real highlight is definitely their patio seating. It's well-maintained and offers a relaxing view of the lake, especially nice around sunset. The scenery adds something special to the dining experience that you can't get at most places in town. Service was friendly and efficient. Special mention to Moe and Cara behind the bar - they were so sweet, attentive, and mixed great drinks without any fuss. He recommended a perfect wine pairing for my meal and checked in just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall a good spot for a casual dinner or drinks with friends. Nothing overly fancy or extraordinary, but definitely worth a visit, especially if you can snag a table on the patio to enjoy the lake views.

My husband and I had a great time here with our toddler. We sat on the water in a shaded area, and had lots of excellent menu options at reasonable prices. The food was good and the service was kind & responsive. We loved that the manager kept everyone working as a team and made sure no table needed anything. Will definitely be back.

Me personally, it was my very first time eating here. The staff is so so nice, especially our waitress, Candan, and Mo. They were so incredibly nice and welcoming. On the menu, the Grilled Shrimp is personally really good. The dish comes with Shrimp, asparagus, and really good seasoned rice. Honestly a 11/10 for everything. The food is a bit pricey, but its worth it because of how good and flavorful it is. Would come again! :)

We went a couple weeks ago. Vibe is 10/10. Lovely outdoor patio, dog friendly outside, nice beach-side feel. Unfortunately service was awful and food was not great. We ordered a beer and pizza on a 95 degree day. The waiter took our order, brought my beer and then never returned. Someone else brought our food, someone else brought our check. Our water glasses sat empty and my beer was long gone, no refills brought for water...on a 95 degree day. Like how? 🤣 I would have gotten another beer, but the opportunity never came. No one asked. No one even walked by! If my water sits empty, and I'm not asked if I want another beer...tip will always be $0. It's no wonder this place had only 10% of their outdoor tables full- because the service is absolutely awful. If the service improved, there's no reason this place won't be packed on a nice day even with mid level food.
Hillary H — Google review
Not sure how this place isn’t well over 4 stars, but they always say the best local places are in the high 3s. We recently moved here and came after it was recommended. The food was great- I love the idea of Greek food at a sports bar. The outdoor seating along the lake is awesome and the staff were super friendly. Gustavo and Moe were excellent. We will definitely be back for trivia and a bev on the water.
Nicole H — Google review
Hard pass. If you like waiting 20 minutes to be asked if you want a drink and then wait another 20 minutes to receive your warm beer. This is the place for you. Make sure to check your warm beer for floaters. The taps are not clean all the time. The food is ok but it’s definitely not good. It’s a shame because I tried really hard to like place. It’s a nice location. The inside is very confused. On one side it’s a dive bar and on the other side of the stage you have “fine dining” where the upholstery is coming off. Anyone that is rating this place any higher than 1 star probably only went once and lie to themselves about other things in their life. This place is a punchline in our house. “We don’t need to go to Kalypso’s we have warm beer and a 30 inch TV in the garage!” I question The Who that rated this place so well. I won’t be fooled again. This place sucks and I’m shocked I haven’t gotten really sick after eating here. I’m done rolling the dice. If a health inspector sees this, please help us get a real restaurant here. This place needs to be closed.

NextStop Theatre Company is a professional, non-profit theater group located in Herndon, Virginia. Established in 1988, the company operates from a former industrial warehouse and features a 100-seat black-box theater. They offer diverse theatrical productions and educational programs throughout the year. The intimate seating provides an engaging experience without feeling crowded. The management ensures a comfortable environment by carefully checking covid tests/vaccine cards at the door.
I just discovered this theatre around May of 2023, and have come to two shows - one of which was opening night. When I tell you I was blown away! The set designs are amazing and I’m always astounded at how they make it work, because the theatre isn’t big at all, so I know they have to get creative with their designs. The shows I’ve seen so far have been incredible, and I’m looking forward to seeing many more! This is definitely a hidden gem that’s tucked away in the back of a weird shopping center, but I’m happy I found it and can’t wait to see more shows!

Cozy, intimate setting for variety of plays and musicals with professional casts. Sets are creative, and has comfortable seating, including accessible seating in front row of black box theater. Reserved seats possible with season tickets. Very friendly staff, easy check in, and drinks & snacks available for in-theater consumption. See for yourself!

Just saw ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ play put on by this theatre —- absolutely WONDERFUL performance! The cast was powerful in their deliveries, the story flowed perfectly, the sound was perfect, the venue is intimate, the stage was excellently done. The staff are great! I encourage you to get tickets to this show —- and really, every show they put on is theatre at its very best!

I've been here a few times and I've enjoyed the plays I've attended. The check-in experience is smooth. You buy your tickets online and give them your name when checking in. The plays have been entertaining. The cast is full of energy and there's usually a few opportunities for audience members to participate in the play. There's an intermission about 50 minutes into the play to go outside or use the restroom. The whole place is clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend anyone interested in experiencing theater to give this place a visit.

I've seen multiple shows here. Loved every one of them! If you haven't caught a show here, you're doing yourself a disservice. And get a cookie while you're there during intermission.

ArtInsights Gallery of Film and Contemporary Art has been offering archival fine framing and showcasing Film Art by the Filmmakers since 1994. They exclusively represent a diverse selection of artwork created by artists in the film industry, as well as contemporary art that celebrates popular culture and its role in society. Their collection includes exclusive art from renowned franchises such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, and DC.
This is an amazing art gallery! Incredible pieces from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and others! A truly amazing showcase of talented artists. The proprietor is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! There is art for all price ranges available as well so if you are just casually looking for doing serious collecting you can find something that fits your budget and taste. I also have to say that the framing here is absolutely exquisite! They have a master framed who can frame your purchase and help you choose the perfect frame. We have bought many pieces here and have always been thrilled!

Truly a one-of-a-kind store! Leslie is super knowledgeable and educates you about the art she sells. My family ended up purchasing a painting by Star Wars production artist William Silvers; so we know we have a unique piece that came directly from the series we love so much. If you love movies, comics, or television and want something special, check this place out.
Adrianne F — Google review
Absolutely my favorite store in Reston. Michael and Leslie are amazing to work with to help you get the art you will be proud to have in your home. I highly recommend asking the stories behind the pictures up and really talk with them. I ended up with amazing art they had hidden and also ordered through their connections. I also loved working with them on the matting and framing options. They have great eyes for color and options best per each peice. I miss this store!
Katelyn K — Google review
I purchased my very first animation cel, but didn't know where to begin when it comes to the proper framing and care of it. That's when I discovered Leslie and her fantastic gallery and invaluable insight. Leslie was extremely knowledgeable in this department, sharing with me the most detailed instructions and advice. With Leslie's guidance, I am that much more confident in how to preserve such a special piece of artwork. Thank you again, Leslie, for all your help, I'm infinitely grateful.
Paul H — Google review
I’ve done business with Leslie and Michael for years. They have some of the best framing services in the entire DC area and have done no less than 15 pieces for me over the years. Add to this the fact that their knowledge about Disney and animation art is unparalleled. I’d give them six stars if I could.
Joseph S — Google review
This is a very neat place! They have an expansive selection of frames and knowledgeable staff to help create the perfect design for my wedding invites that I wanted framed. There was a very quick turn-around between when I dropped off my things and when I picked up the finished product...much quicker than framers I have been to in the past! They also have great artwork for sale so of course I came home with a new piece of art for my walls! They focus on a lot of film art from a variety of genres so I got a realistic disney interpretation for myself, but there's great gift ideas for the comic book friends and star wars friends in my life too!
Hosannah M — Google review
We have been collecting animation cels for quite a while, and the owners have been selling even longer. She impressed us with her knowledge of the various characters, artists, types of cels, and the market for them. The store had a wide range of originals, limited editions, and art work. While I don't collect movie art, they had even more of that. Definitely worth the visit if you're at all interested in these types of art.

This is an exceptional gallery. I always see so many pieces I love. Leslie, the gallery owner, is warm and so knowledgeable. I have purchased few pieces and am so very happy with them. They have pieces in a wide vatiety of sizes and prices. Go take a look around and have fun!

Whole Foods Market is an environmentally conscious retail chain that offers a wide range of natural and organic grocery items, household goods, and various other products. Most of their stores also sell wine. This particular location, while smaller than the Fair Oaks branch, has a cramped space that houses their selection. Customers appreciate the variety of options available here. Recently, they tried the breakfast bar which was still satisfactory even though they arrived late and had leftovers.
I see people comparing this location with Fair Lakes and Ashburn. I don't usually go to those locations, so I'll only compare with the old Plaza America location. This new place is significantly better and bigger in every way. The parking struggle is about the same or has gotten worse. The place is huge! I didn't have a chance to make it to all areas of this Whole Foods yet. The dedicated bakery section is definitely a welcome addition. I tried the tres leches cake slice, I'm in heaven. I stopped by here just for that. This place now has a dedicated area to eat that's so much bigger compared to the old place. The Amazon return area is also always staffed. They have a staffed area and one automated machine. That works for me as long as there's staff. Otherwise, more machines would be nice. A few times I went to return, there was usually a long line for the staffed return area. Trying salad bar next time and will update my review!
Thant A — Google review
We went there on the first weekend it opened at its new location where Best Buy used to be. Lots of people were in the crowded parking lot and in the store. They had a large selection of all their products. Even though there were lots of people, it didn’t feel as cramped and we had no wait at checkout. However, bagger at checkout seemed inexperienced, he put our eggs at bottom of bag and filled it with heavy items that crushed our eggs. We had eggs dripping in bottom of our paper bags!! The bakery/coffee area had lots of great choices but they still need to work on the customer experience. The cashier was not well trained that resulted in having to ask him a ton of questions to figure out how to just get a coffee, pastry and fruit tart. Overall the store is a big improvement from its Plaza America location but has some kinks to work out to make things run smoothly for customers. We will wait awhile before returning to see if service improves.
Sabrina L — Google review
Finally a big Whole Foods in Reston. Two entrances lead to a wide array of baked goods, a coffee shop, fruits and vegetables, and a large hot bar that has plenty to pick from for a good meal. There's also a pizza bar, and a large cheese monger area with helpful staff. The meat counter and fish counters can help you get whatever you need in whatever size and cut you need. There's also lots of other great things, like Cascatelli pasta and beer and wine and plenty more.
Benjamin B — Google review
I’m glad Whole Foods opened here they have a great location near the town center and it’s nice move to this bigger store location from Plaza America. My main concern is that there’s no cart corrals at all in the parking lot. When I shop I find carts left in parking spaces, carts leaving dents on vehicles and of course the main concern is this makes it harder to park, especially since the lot is already on the smaller side for the number of businesses in the plaza. I’ve never seen a grocery store without a designated cart return area. Though this is a customer responsibility I think the careless, lazy, or elderly, disabled would be more obliged to returning carts to a corral than to the store, especially with many customers having to park towards the back due to store traffic. This would make a big difference for both customers and parking flow if this could be added.
OEM — Google review
As we arrive for our inaugural visit to this new store the first thing we see is security guards in tactical outfits with what look like bulletproof vests festoon with wannabe police badges. What a horrible first impression. They were there to direct traffic — but they were also walking around in the store as if on patrol. Their vehicles were parked in fire lanes and their numbers far outweighed the number to customer service people ready to assist customers with their groceries. Why would a big company like Amazon want people dressed up like ICE given the current political climate? Totally turned off by the experience before I stepped foot in store. We left shortly after. Not sure we will be back anytime soon.
Blair T — Google review
It's a larger location that the old one, but even so is somehow missing items the old one had- specifically, it has no bulk refill tubes for things like seeds, beans, etc., which the old one did and is a main reason I have shopped at Whole Foods. Additionally, the parking lot, even at a non-busy time, was a mess, with only 1 exit point, and for whatever reason there are no cart return areas in the parking lot (this seems like it should be a basic feature?), so you'll have to cross the busy roadway in front of the store at least 3 times to enter, exit, and return your cart. Overall poor design for a newly opened store.
Carter S — Google review
Figure out your cart situation. It’s sad that here at Reston where people are supposed to be sophisticated are acting like children and not doing the right thing. I continuously find carts hit against my car ever since this store opened.
Ramie A — Google review
I was actually so happy because I was looking forward to the grand opening and the first impression I got when I went to the store for the first time was discrimination and mockery because of my sexual orientation. The girls at the checkout on the right-hand corner were making fun of me, and not just me, but other people too. Why does this happen? It's 2025. How can this be allowed? I love Whole Foods, but not like this.I’m just being honest.

Reston Kabob is a delightful culinary gem that specializes in serving up mouthwatering gyros, fresh salads, and halal meat kebabs. Each dish is complemented by their handcrafted bread and aromatic imported basmati rice, making for a truly satisfying meal. Located conveniently near the Reston Town Center Metro Station, this eatery is surrounded by other fantastic spots like Thai Home Bistro and Super Chicken Peruvian Rotisserie.
The best kabobs I've tried in my life, greatness portions, everything had a very good taste. The best
Leonardo B — Google review
Meh...3 stars for the food only bc the ground beef kabob had good flavor. The rice, and the sauces were not great. Overall not a great experience. Picked out this Pomegranate soda to try. When I opened it, it was flat and tasted like I was drinking flat soda. The bottle says "Carbonated Drink". I was very polite and told the cashier that the drink was flat. Her response was that it "is more of a juice". I said well bottle says carbonated, and its not and can I switch for another. She said "No. You already drank it." (Mind you, this was 5 mins after we ordered.). .I said no, I sipped it and that's how I know its bad...and i just walked away. You can't argue with someone who thinks they are right😂😂😂 and yes look at the pics, soda expires in a few weeks. It was flat. Customer service was bad. Never again, which is unfortunate bc I love Afghani food.
A S — Google review
Disappointed with the food quality. The rice was undercooked, and the chicken didn’t seem properly done either. If you’re looking for an authentic kabob experience, this isn’t the place—I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
Masiullah S — Google review
This place was the greatest 10-20 years ago. They had the biggest gyro sandwiches you’ve ever seen with the best pita and gyro meat was so flavorful and big chunks. Now, sadly, it’s not even close to that. This is probably the 5th time I’ve tried them in the past two years and each time it disappoints. Every time the sandwich is soggy, no flavor and small. Add a kicker this last purchase gave me digestive issues. The pita was a soggy mess and smaller than before. The meat was flavorless and smaller than before. DO BETTER Reston kabob. You used to be a staple of Reston. Now you’re a tale of what once was
Tyrannosaurus R — Google review
We used to come here fairly often but this recent experience was awful. The employees don't acknowledge your existence, the food quality has dropped significantly. The woman "working" at the register had a headphone in while she was eating a popsicle at one of the customer tables the entire time we were there. It was the most unpleasant restaurant experience I think I've ever had. It was incredibly unwelcoming. If you want to be treated like an inconvenience or nuisance when trying to spend money at a business this is the place to go. I'll never be back.

I have been coming here for years. The Food is always top notch and the customer service is even more amazing! One day I came out to the restaurant and my tire was donezo. The owner came out and changed my tire for me! Reston kabob proves there is still hospitality out there!
Youssif A — Google review
Food quality has taken a massive nosedive and the service is beyond horrible. The woman "manager" wouldn't even get up when we came in or to give us our food; she literally looked over at us and said "your food is ready" and motioned at the counter. She sat at a customer table the entire time we were there, wearing an airpod, watching her phone, and eating (food from a different restaurant), while yelling across the restaurant at the kitchen staff. I've never been treated like such an inconvenience and a nuisance when trying to give a restaurant my business. They also don't post allergen information anywhere in the restaurant and our daughter was allergic to an ingredient in mayo, which is what they use to marinate their meat (instead of yogurt etc.) The manager just looked at us and said "oh, she can eat french fries", meaning we can go buy the fries for her. Are you kidding me? She also still didn't even stand up or take her airpod out. The kicker? We didn't even know about the mayo until we heard her talking about it while yelling across the restaurant at the kitchen staff, then asked her if they used mayo in the food. The tables were filthy and someone was storing their E-Bike inside the restaurant near the dining area. The restaurant was literally empty and the staff didn't bother cleaning anything whatsoever. The manager just sat and watched us move a table back, wipe it down, and clean the chairs ourselves. She did get up once - to get herself a popsicle out of the restaurant freezer and sit back down to continue watching her phone while eating it. To top it all off, the meat was tough and did not taste good. The chicken was burnt on a handful of pieces and the ground chicken was a bit undercooked. All of us didn't feel great after eating there. Except my daughter, who couldn't eat anything except rice and bread. We stopped somewhere else to get her lunch. Safe to say we will never come back and I regret following through with our meal. We should have taken the abundance of hints from the manager and walked out. Worst restaurant experience my family has probably ever had.

If you're on the hunt for a grocery store that feels like a cozy neighborhood gem, look no further than Trader Joe's! This beloved chain is packed with an impressive array of signature items, from fresh produce and dairy to unique international foods. You can find everything from protein-rich wheat and lentil spaghetti to an enticing selection of Indian pre-cooked gravies like butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. Trader Joe's also boasts a delightful floral section, perfect for brightening up your home.
Trader Joe's offers quality pizza toppings, a wide selection of foods from flowers to organic yogurts and meats and cheeses, and a wide variety of favorites at affordable prices! Affordable prices and delicious food, except for the bread, which is soggy and soft and lackluster. Suggestions for improved storage, such as adding air vents or changing thawing methods, would enhance the flavor. Overall Recommendation!

My first time shopping here. I like the store, and the concept they are displaying. But I live off social security and I can't afford the prices. Plus , there are some name brands that I prefer to keep using and they have a variety of organic, and locally sourced brands.

Trader Joe’s is such a great place to shop! They have a huge variety of products, and the best part is all the healthy options in almost every category. I just got wheat-based and lentil-based spaghetti, which are high in protein. They also have a big collection of Indian food - about 10-15 types of pre-cooked gravies like butter chicken, chicken tikka, paneer, lamb vindaloo, and more. They also have nice fresh flowers section. The staff is super helpful, and almost all the products are made by Trader Joe’s itself. Overall, it’s always an amazing experience shopping here!

The parking lot is small, as they are at most Trader Joe’s, but the spaces are large enough that you can get your groceries in without bumping the car next to you. The store is clean, well laid out, and well stocked. The employees are friendly and helpful. Love their produce and frozen items.

This is my favorite Trader Joe's. All the people who work here are nice, seem happy and are quick/efficient while also being friendly. I've had numerous nice conversations with workers here, they are cool people! It gets a little packed after 10 am on weekends but understandably so - TJs has amazing food! Faves include French baguette, fresh blocks of Parmesan cheese, mini cucumbers, sesame seed salad dressing, pounder chocolate bars, organic mayonnaise and all frozen desserts.

Missing a few items, prices routinely scan higher than displayed on the shelf, and queuing for the checkouts is always stressful. They should take a lesson from the clarendon trader joes and create one single queue where the next person goes to the next available checkout.

Wiehle-Reston East is currently the end station of the Silver Line metro, but there are plans to extend it to Dulles International Airport. The station offers a convenient transfer system, including the Silver Line express bus connecting to the airport for $5 per person. However, travelers can also take bus 5A for only $2, which goes from the airport to Rosslyn station and downtown Washington D.C.
The service personnel are very friendly and helpful here. I hate waiting when it’s cold and windy out here but other than that it is a pleasant experience. This is a very deep pocket rich area so the people riding the trains keep to themselves and don’t bother you. You can always get a seat on the train at this stop. Photos as of January 2019.

A nice metro stop on silver line. The plaza offers a lot like, office buildings, bank, CVS, and good restaurants with different kinds of menus. In my opinion, it’s a place where you can spend any evening but especially Friday after work have a great dinner and just relax.

Parking's free and easy. Can't go further west on the DC metro today than at this stop. Soon the "Silver Line" will go all the way to Ashburn, and eventually to Dulles Airport too.
Carlos R — Google review
The Metro Rail is the finest way to travel into and out of DC. A king of old couldn't summon the ability to be whisked into the city on a moments notice, without having to worry about traffic. Why bother worrying about parking a car, paying surreal prices for parking, and the monumental effort of having to find a place to keep it, when you can just park in the garage, walk to the train, and take it into the city? Why drive when this exists? The Silver Line is very convenient, and long with the MetroBus to compliment it, the Metro Rail can get you wherever you need. Give it a try.
Nathan — Google review
Currently the end station of silver line metro, but it will be extended to Dulles International Airport. Silver line express bus connects this station and the airport($5 per person). Nice transfer system is established so it isn't that inconvenient to transfer from silver line express to metro, but i'd like to recommend people to take bus 5A because it is only $2 and this bus will take you from the airport to Rosslyn station and the center of Washington D.C.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station. The state of the bathrooms was deplorable; they were unclean and clearly neglected, which is unacceptable for a public facility. Moreover, witnessing a station manager publicly harass an individual for not having enough money to pass through was disturbing. It’s immature and inappropriate to shame someone for their financial situation. Everyone can face tough times, and empathy should be the first response, not humiliation. Denying passage to someone who may be in dire circumstances shows a lack of compassion and understanding. It’s essential that metro station staff are trained to handle such situations with discretion and offer assistance rather than exacerbate the person’s difficulties. This incident has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I hope the station takes immediate steps to improve its facilities and staff training, ensuring respect and dignity for all passengers. The lack of tolerance and professionalism is disappointing. I expected better reston

Personally I like the station but if I did not familiarize myself with the station I would have been very confused getting to the train platform after disembarking the Silver shuttle bus from Dulles. There was a couple that came out of one of the doorways and asked a fellow traveler if she knew how to get to the platform. Better signage and clearer indicators would make it more user friendly.

Decent station. It's nice that it's the end of the line, you can always get a good seat on your way into the city. Clean bathrooms, the staff have been helpful when I've had to talk to them. I do wish that we got some newer trains, seems like they mostly run the old ones on the silver line.

Baron Cameron Park is a picturesque green space located in Reston, offering a variety of recreational activities for visitors. The park features athletic fields, community garden plots, and a playground, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, the park boasts an off-leash dog area, providing a perfect spot for furry friends to roam and play. Visitors can explore the scenic walking paths that wind around Lake Newport and enjoy picnics amidst the natural beauty of the park.
This is a beautiful park in every season. Walking trail goes by the lake. Exercise stops along near the fields. Baseball fields and tennis courts.

In beautiful Reston, you can find many public parks, small and large, which are typically connected by a network of multiuse trails. Part of the Blue Trail is one of those trails and it winds around northern Reston for about 3.5 miles between the North Point Shopping Center, Lake Anne Plaza, and the Tall Oaks Village Center. Along the way is Baron Cameron Park, where you can wander, bring your dog, and have a picnic near Lake Newport. It's beautiful here during all seasons!

Very near to my place. Almost a daily go to place with my kid for activities or just for fun. Have slides and events time to time. Football courts .. dog parks !! BUT the place does need some monitoring and at least regular checking..you will see dog poop all over in football grounds and playground even though they have seperate dog park here....
Ritchie Y — Google review
Decent park, not sure if there is some other special section I missed. Several fields available along with some picnic areas. There is a nice trail that leads to another park in one direction, not sure where it leads when it goes the other direction (near the road).

Walking paths, basketball courts, many baseball and soccer fields, a dog park, and forest trails — Baron Cameron Park is my happy place. I come here nearly every day, and it is always an enjoyable experience.

NOT 24 HOURS AS POSTED ON GOOGLE. This isn't a fair review bc I thought it was open. The ballpark was lit up at 10:30pm but the dog park clearly states 7am-sunset.

Nestled in the heart of Reston, Faraday Park is a vibrant community that truly feels like home. Having spent three wonderful years here, I can confidently say that renewing my lease was an easy decision! The professional and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, while the maintenance team ensures that any requests are handled swiftly. One of the highlights of living at Faraday Park is the strong sense of community fostered through engaging events like Halloween and Christmas parties, where neighbors become friends.
I have lived at Faraday Park for the past 3 years and love my apartment so much that I renewed my lease for another year! The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful! The maintenance team is professional and completes requests very quickly! I love that Faraday encourages a sense of community. We have had some amazing events! The Christmas party train, Halloween Party Train, and many other fun events. I know my neighbors by first name, and they are all very friendly, kind and thoughtful! Follow Faraday Park on Instagram.

Lived at Faraday for two years. My first year was great (I would rate it 5 stars), but the second year wasn’t so much (would rate it a 1 star). The neighborhood is very walkable, which is a big plus if you have a dog. I never had any major issues with the appliances in my unit, which I appreciated. They have lots of great community events and the amenities there are nice. The maintenance staff are amazing and also the front desk. When comparing apartments in Reston, Faraday probably has the best bang for your buck. The biggest con is that the floors (other than the first two levels) are all wood, which makes noise from other units much louder due to the lack of noise insulation. I had a neighbor who played loud music throughout the day constantly for months, and when I made complaints, nothing changed. I also had a neighbor who would purposely bang on my floor & my door, and even after filing multiple complaints, nothing was done about it. If it wasn’t for the lack of noise insulation & if these complaints were properly handled by management I might’ve extended my stay, but due to this I had to depart. I was offered to change units which would’ve been a hassle and wouldn’t actually fix the root issue leaving the next resident in that unit to deal with the same thing. I know neighbors that also dealt with loudness and others who didn’t, so it just depends on the type of neighbor you have below or above your unit.

Very dangerous place to live! My car was brutally vandalized last night in the gated garage I pay for every month. I contacted management just to find out there are no security cameras in the garage except for one at the entrance. I called insurance company to find out it will cost me around thousand dollars to fix . I can’t even afford to get it fixed. Such a shame that management is so helpless and there are no security cameras. I don’t feel safe living here anymore!!!

I just moved out of Faraday Park recently (the West building). Lived there for 2 years, and it was a really solid apartment complex. Things it checks off: nice pool, great gym, parking garage with a million spots for visitors (they need a pass though), the lobby has a really nice common area, and both buildings have a few tables to cowork and charge your laptop. Packages are delivered in an Amazon locker or stored in their storage room, and I never had anything stolen. Stuff in walking distance: Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station, W&OD trail is super close, and there's a Pupatella / McDonald's / Taco Bell. However, I wouldn't consider it much of a walkable area. That might change with the completion of Reston Station's new buildings, but it's not close enough to Reston Town Center imo. Immediately surrounding the apartment is a nice quaint area for walking dogs. There's plenty of grass and waste baskets. A lot of people in this apartment complex own dogs, and despite that, the hallways were always clean. There's also a dog park which is very convenient, however it's mostly made of stone and gravel so your dog *will* get dusty and dirty. The unit I rented was ridiculously quiet. First floor, I never *ever* heard my neighbors, including the ones above me, and with my door closed, I couldn't hear the music I was blasting on the inside. Maintenance was pretty good about fixing things, too. However, the particular unit I rented (1BR/1BA, 1st floor) received very little sunlight and had very poor built-in lighting. Both the living room and bedroom had no overhead lights. And due to the vaulted ceilings, I had a hard time getting lightbulbs to fully light the rooms. I uploaded a couple of photos of what the unit looked while I was moving out, with the kitchen lights on. The hallways in the West building were also just as dimly lit and a bit depressing. It could really use some decoration. It's funny, because the lobby and common areas are beautiful. The unit didn't come with a pantry and had very little storage space. I actually had to install some mounted shelves so that I could store my food. That might not be the case for other units, and you'll probably get sunlight if you're on a higher floor with more windows. You can tell that they used some cheap materials for the cabinets and islands. For some reason, the exhaust fan in the bathroom had to run 24/7. When the shower light is turned on, the fan ramps up as you would expect, but would only moderately quiet down when turned off. This was audible throughout the entire apartment if the bathroom door wasn't closed. With fees, my rent went from ~$2,170 > ~$2,250 > ~$2,380 (proposed). So, +3.6%, then +5.7%, for a +9.6% total increase after two years. I figured it wasn't worth paying nearly $2,400/mo for a paltry ~700 sqft., so I moved to Falls Church. It's way more walkable here, I upgraded to a 1br+den and even though I'm paying more I'm way happier for it. And I get sunlight now. However, I will say that I really like Bozzuto as a management company. I actually moved into another one of their properties. Rent is crazy in this area and Bozzuto properties are no exception, but maintenance and staff were super professional and friendly. Never had an issue with them. tl;dr: Management is 5 stars, but the units are not, and are very pricy.

We recently hosted an oral health event for the residents at Fraday and had a wonderful experience. The property is clean, well-maintained, and offers ample parking, which made setup easy for our team. A special shoutout to Mr. Vincent Stanton, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He made sure we had everything we needed and took the initiative to inform residents about the event. His professionalism and support truly stood out. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Living at Faraday Park has truly been an exceptional experience. From the first day, the leasing team made the entire move-in process seamless and stress-free, offering personalized support and quick responses to any questions. The community is beautifully designed, with attention to every detail — from the stylish lobby to the peaceful courtyards and rooftop areas that feel like a private retreat. My apartment itself is thoughtfully laid out, with large windows that let in amazing natural light, high ceilings, and top-quality appliances. The soundproofing between units is excellent, creating a quiet and peaceful environment even though the building is lively and social. What sets Faraday Park apart is the sense of community. Regular events are organized with care and creativity, making it easy to build friendships and feel connected. The amenities are second to none: the gym has premium equipment, the co-working spaces are perfect for remote work, and the pool area feels like a luxury resort. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally — usually within 24 hours — and the front desk team is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help. Security and cleanliness are clearly a priority, and it shows every day. The location couldn’t be better: close to the Metro, Reston Town Center, parks, and amazing restaurants, yet still tucked into a quiet, walkable neighborhood. In every way, Faraday Park combines luxury, comfort, and community spirit. I couldn’t be happier living here, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home that truly enhances their lifestyle.

Faraday Park has been a great place to live so far! I have been here for three months now and the experience has been great. This is my first apartment after college and with that came a lot of questions. The team here answered all of the questions that I had and continue to be a valuable resource for any needs that come up. The apartment itself is beautiful and the amenities are excellent.

Definitely recommend Faraday Park if you're looking for a stylish, convenient place to live!

SkateQuest is a fantastic indoor ice-skating rink that caters to skaters of all ages and skill levels. With spacious facilities featuring two rinks, it offers a variety of lessons, camps, and clinics for those looking to improve their skills or just have fun on the ice. The pro shop is well-stocked, and visitors can enjoy refreshments at the on-site café.
Began (re)learning how to figure skate as an adult, and Lana Jones has been an exceptional instructor. She is very flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in figure skating!

My son Grant has played hockey here for the past 2 years. The amount of disrespect he has been shown by the program. He has been put on the lowest team both years (he’s still trying and having fun) but it is absurd that he is not on AA. He claims he is better than half the players on the team and it is all politics (I always listen to my little boy). I just need justice for Grant and the work he puts in on and off the ice. Here is a picture of him playing (doesn't he just look like an angel on the ice).

I’ve been doing my skating lessons here for 1-2 years and I love it. My instructor is amazing and the building is very spacious with two rinks. However sometimes when I come there’s this one female staff at the counter with wavy hair who seems very unfriendly. No “good morning” or “have a nice day”? Not even a smile? She was on her phone when I first walked in and didn’t respond when I first said “Hello”. Please change your attitude especially if you’re working at the front desk, it can impact someone’s day ^^

I love this place. Got back into ice skating recently when my friends dragged me to ice skate on Christmas and I must say, this place is amazing. I wanted to give a special shout out to Olga, the nice lady at the skate shop, who helped me buy my first ever pair of ice skates !!!! Thank you Olga! She even sharpened my blades for me after. I love skating here. The rink is huge and smooth. Will be coming back often. :)

I’ve skated around the world, from London to Estonia to Finland and never in my life have I experienced the kind of poor treatment I faced at SkateQuest. I read the bad reviews before coming, but I didn’t want to believe them… until I experienced it myself. I came during a freestyle session. There was no clear indication on their website or at the rink that freestyle skating had specific skill requirements. I was minding my own business, skating calmly near the walls and I’m not a beginner, I can do the basics, even run on skates when a trainer approached me and abruptly told me to leave the ice. She claimed I had to be able to do jumps and spins to be allowed on, but again, that was never stated anywhere before I paid and entered. Instead of offering help or explanation, she was rude, dismissive, and even threatened to ban me from returning unless I booked private lessons. This is not how you treat skaters, especially those visiting from other parts of the world. Totally unwelcoming and unprofessional.

My daughter just finished her second time at summer skate camp and enjoyed it even more than her first year. They do a great job of hiring very nice, friendly and helpful camp counselors who make the camp a really positive experience. I expect my daughter to ask to attend again next year.
