Candy store
Vidler's 5 & 10, Inc. is a historic store located in East Aurora, offering a wide range of products from cookware to penny candies for over 80 years. The store's two floors are filled with nostalgic and old-fashioned charm, reminiscent of Woolworths from decades ago but on a more personal scale.
What a neat place to visit. Very large store with all kinds of knickknacks and such. You could browse for about an hour and not see everything. Definitely a cool place to go on a Sunday or Saturday afternoon. Things you never know you needed you can buy there. You always end up buying something. It’s a real fun place for the whole family with kids stuff there as well everything is priced reasonably. It’s nestled in the small town of East Aurora. A lot is walkable from there. Enjoy.

The old school five and dime. You'll find things that you never knew existed and things that you haven't seen in years. Prices are decently reasonable and service is good. True old fashioned building adds charm to this landmark. Well worth the 2-hour drive for me. Like the ads used to say, follow 20A to East Aurora and look for the Vidler on the roof.
Buddy C — Google review
always a fun stopover to wander around when passing through, you never have any idea what you're going to find! great for kids and adults alike, and extremely reasonable prices!

I’ve been here numerous times, every time I’m in Buffalo I head to East Aurora for Bar Bill wings and a blast from the past Fidlers. I love this store, I can spend an hour just pursuing the aisles.
Matthew A — Google review
A very interesting and amazing place to visit. Especially the drive out during fall. So many different items. Gorgeous snow globes. Candles, candy and toys. The people who work here are so friendly and helpful. You cannot be disappointed visiting Vidlers.
Craig N — Google review
Wonderful store to browse. Lots of vintage things, huge selection of candy, toys, kitchen essentials. Friendly staff.
Jay S — Google review
Great service! The lady at the other end of the store was able to check us out (it is actually a big store!) She was very kind. We explored all the toys they had there and all the smells at the candle/smells room. Lots of toys for kids there.
Daniel S — Google review
A HUGE 5 and dime, biggest in the world,I hear. They have everything from pots and pans to models and toys and candles and Buffalo Bills collectibles and candy and stuffed animals and the list goes on and on. There's an elevator that will hold two people in case you don't do stairs so well. Street entrance is to the second floor, entrance in the back is too the first floor. Plan to stay a while if you like to browse. Prices are a bit high for many items, but that's to be expected in a tourist attraction. I enjoyed my visit.

Rick's On Main is an upscale New American restaurant with a bi-level layout and a porch-style patio. It offers lunch every day except Sundays. Located in East Aurora, it is surrounded by other dining options and independent shops, making it part of a vibrant area for food and shopping. The restaurant features brick and dark wood decor, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners to enjoy their meals.
My shower was absolutely perfect. The food was great and the space was perfect. We had 20-25 girls. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. 10/10 top to bottom. My only complaint is how dark it is upstairs. All of the lighting looked dark and off in pictures so I wish they had better lighting for day time events, instead of just night time dinner lighting. We made the most of it!
Angela S — Google review
Was in for the first today 3/27/25. Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to go back. Service was great. It was a bit dark upstairs but not crazy. Cannoli cake was fantastic. If I need a cake I would order one from there I thought it was that good.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner this past weekend. It was my first time, though he had enjoyed a meal here once before. From start to finish, our experience was wonderful. First, our server, Madeline H., was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which really elevated our evening. For our entrées, I ordered the filet with red pepper compound butter, and my boyfriend chose the seafood risotto. We shared both dishes, and each was absolutely delicious. The filet was perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth, while the butter added a flavorful spice that I loved. The risotto was incredible as well, with perfectly cooked scallops that were tender and flavorful. For dessert, we decided on the crème brûlée. I was a bit hesitant at first, since sometimes the torched sugar can have a butane flavor, but to my delight, it was perfect. The caramelized top had just the right texture, and the fresh blueberries added a lovely touch. We left full and happy, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit!
Margaret C — Google review
My boyfriend and I have been here twice, and it has been incredible both times! Last night we were there to celebrate our anniversary, and had such an amazing time! I strongly recommend this restaurant!!
Kaila R — Google review
The most tender and flavorful steak I have ever ate! The meal was fabulous no words canbdescribe how good this meal really was. Go try it, you will not be sorry. The mashed potatoes, asparagus and caramelized onions matched perfectly with the steak. The boom boom shrimp and stuffed banana peppers were ridiculous. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. I wish I would have had room for dessert, as I'm sure it would have been great!
Randy W — Google review
This was my first visit to Rick's on Main and it did not disappoint. This little place is a perfect spot for all occasions. This is an upper class casual place that will hit your pocket book but is well worth the price. My gf and I started off with soup. She had the loaded potato soup and I went with the lobster bisque. Both were excellent. For dinner we both went with steak. I had the wagyu strip and she had the filet. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and were delicious. We ended up saving room for dessert and both of those were a delightful finish to our meals. Our server was very polite, attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is laid out neatly with different rooms allowing for similar but different experiences. I do not drink but they have a nice bar area with plenty of options. I definitely look forward to going back to this establishment at some point. If you're in the East Aurora area it's definitely somewhere you should try for a spectacular dinner. This place is a 5 out of 5 stars.

Taste Bistro & Coffee Bar is a unique coffee shop adorned with art pieces, offering a variety of espresso and cafe bites while hosting live entertainment. Housed in a converted 1918 grain facility, it's located among other dining spots and independent shops. The menu features diverse options including breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, and specialty drinks like the Bourbon Bumblebee latte. Visitors can enjoy the inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating and a typical coffee shop vibe.
Loved this place! Super cool vibe and friendly staff. Service was great and the wait was not bad at all. I got the bees knees and a bacon and egg sandwich on a croissant. It was all delish! I'm definitely coming here again soon.
Ev M — Google review
Love this place! I got an iced vanilla latte that was perfect, and the garden style grilled cheese which was delicious! The side salad was wonderfully fresh, too. I love coming here to work when I’m in town, but it’s a great spot for meeting friends and family as well! Staff are very nice and patient even during the crazy rushes.
Mackenzie S — Google review
Great place for coffee and food but it is hard to justify how a breakfast burrito with sausage egg and some salsa should cost $15. I love to support local businesses but I think it might be a good idea to reevaluate the pricing.
Alexandra K — Google review
The woman with red hair was rude and stuck up. Offering no customer service and was bothered when I went to the wrong spot to pick up my food. The Mac and cheese was watery and the grilled cheese was mediocre. A sandwich, grilled cheese, smoothie, and a coconut water for 60 dollars. Never again
Joseph S — Google review
I was really looking forward to eating Taste Bistro, but unfortunately my experience was terrible. The chicken in my dish was visibly undercooked, which is not only unappetizing but unsafe. The home fries were also undercooked and the “home fry bowl” had absolutely no flavor — bland, soggy, and poorly seasoned. For how expensive the menu is, I expected a much higher standard. Instead, I left disappointed, still hungry, and frustrated that I paid so much for such poor quality. I won’t be returning and will not recommend this place to anyone.
Catherine C — Google review
Love this place! Food and drinks were delicious with a ton of options. Something for everybody here. A cute cafe with a great atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside and also a few tables outside.

Always a delicious cup of coffee with great service. We love the fact that they’re open past the dinner hour as well so that we can walk off our meal down the strip with a great cup of coffee.

Please please please get your regular Boylan Root Beer back (not the diet one). Their smashburgers are immaculate, and the food is ALWAYS worth waiting for. There is something for EVERYBODY HERE to enjoy. But here’s a tip for the owners. Bottled water should be ridden of. You already have clean water here and people have water bottles to bring with them already. What’s the point of having them here?

We had a great lunch in this pub. Everything was delicious, the poutine, burgers and the tots. Thanks to Charlie he is a very kind server. Respect from Portugal 🇵🇹

Good looked amazing. I’ll give them that much. Our appetizer is really what saved our meal. The fried “grilled” cheese was amazing. Delicious and came out fast and hot. I got the beef on weck, I took a bite almost as soon as it got there and the meat in the sandwich was freezing cold. Ended up taking some of the meat out so it wasn’t so cold. My partner on the other hand had a double order of boneless wings, he tasted them and so did I and it was so over cooked it was barely edible. I’m typically not one to write reviews but this one I had to, especially for the price we paid for food we barely ate because of issues with the food. It was crazy. I should have said something at the restaurant but luckily for them I don’t like to start issues. Our server was amazing though.
Rachael M — Google review
I was very excited to be here as it was my first time. The place was elegant and nicely decorated, but then they had dead plants as decor right where you walked in, and that made me feel kind of sad for them. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees as well as desserts, and I have to say their food is on the spicey side. The lobster curry soup had a great flavor, but I felt it was over powered with heat and wish I saw that when I ordered it, but then ate some corn fritters and those absolutely stole the show! The best corn fritters I've ever had! Absolutely delicious. I then ordered their signature mac with some steak, and it is smoked gouda, so you have to be a gouda fan. I enjoyed that. We also ordered the crab appetizer and did enjoy it as well, but it seemed as though again there was some spice that was added to it that was giving some heat, so it took away from the savoryness of the dish. The chocolate cake was pretty good as well. If you like heat to your food, you will absolutely love it, but it was kind of unexpected for Mac. I can totally understand the curry, but I wished the menu mentioned the curry was spicy. Our server and service, though, was impeccable, and I absolutely felt very cared for and taken care of and treated wonderfully. She was amazing! The only other reason for the 3 starts when it comes to the atmosphere besides the dead plants was the floor was extremely slippery. It was a very strange coating of some sort that I totally don't get, even in the bathroom. The place is clean and tidy with great centerpieces, but older people better watch it because they could fall, so I would consider maybe a liner to make sure that floor texture is more secure. I'd go back again and try new things because of the service, and perhaps it was an off day, but now this place has huge potential.
Jennifer F — Google review
The service we got was phenomenal, the food not so much. Meals were extremely over cooked and some beers tasted like vinegar. Appetizers were great.
Thomas G — Google review
Griffon Gastropub was the perfect spot for our larger group! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and everything came out quickly despite our size. My personal favorites were definitely the cocktails and appetizers. They were creative, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. The entrées were also very good with generous portions that left everyone happy. Great atmosphere, great food, and a great place to go with friends or family!

We stopped here during a roadtrip on a Wednesday evening, there was plenty of availability despite a steady flow of customers. The menu is extensive and has several allergens/dietary preferences marked clearly on the menu. They have many dishes that can be made gluten free including GF buns. The server we had, Paige, was extremely friendly and observant as well as funny and very attentive. The food came out quickly and was well done and tasty. They offer beer samples and have wine, ciders and other options, they have something for everyone. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable with plenty of natural light. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
Nick W — Google review
Some of the most chewy filet medallions I've ever had... I'd say they were sirloin tips over filet ones. Corn fritters were raw inside and crab rangoons were super chewy. For how amazing we were told the place was... I hope it was just an off night.

Knox Farm State Park, located on the border of East Aurora, spans 633 acres and offers a variety of activities for visitors. The park features maintained fields used for soccer, as well as miles of hiking trails that wind through diverse animal habitats and scenic landscapes. It also provides facilities for horse riding and skiing in the winter months. For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the park offers bird watching opportunities and a farm area where children can interact with animals.
Love to hike through the woods with my kiddos and dog. Several different trails paved and unpaved. Dogs galore walking. We decided to take the unpaved recently and it was quite muddy and messy but we knew it would be like that. Beautiful nature and serene.

One of the most serene and beautiful pieces of land in the state. I spent hours there with my dog and had a wonderful experience at Knox Farms. My only disappointment was I've been living in Western NY all my life, and this was my first visit, but certainly not my last.

Beautiful park with lots to do and explore. Walked around the paths for around an hour and a half and never walked the same path twice. The paths are in excellent condition and there are a lot of them to exlore. There's a nice dog park near the parking lot, it wasn't very busy but I'm sure on a day with nicer weather there would be more dogs. They even have a separate fenced off area just for smaller dogs, which is nice. Look forward to coming back and seeing what else the park has to offer.

Red's is a charming diner that serves up delicious burgers, sandwiches, and fries, making it an ideal stop for a casual meal. While the menu has limited options for kids, little ones can still enjoy tasty grilled cheese sandwiches and delightful strawberry banana milkshakes. The burger portions may be smaller than expected, but they are satisfying nonetheless. During my visit, I found the atmosphere inviting with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
Best Beef on Weck I've ever had! Plenty of choices on the menu. We will be back!

Red's is a great place to stop for a burger/sandwhich and fries. However, if you have children, you will want to note that there is limited "kid-friendly" items on the food menu. That said, my kids enjoyed their grilled cheese sandwiches and strawberry banana milkshakes. The burger and fries were good, however they were smaller portions than expected and when we were there they were out of roast beef. The restaurant itself is a cute diner with some seating inside and some outside. Only one bathroom, but it is clean, as is the rest of of the restaurant.

Probably the worst place I have ate in a while. Burnt $5 onion rings. Also asked for a doctor pepper and got a Diet Pepsi. The burger was ok but nothing special. Save your time and money. Eat somewhere else. I have had better food at Burger King.

Jason V — Google review
Good food. You could use a knife and fork for the double cheeseburger. Good and filling. We ordered the shoe string fries and onion ring combo. Next time I would get the waffle fries. Onion rings were excellent. Large list of milk shakes.
Ron G — Google review
Went there for the first time yesterday was pleased with it. Nothing earth shattering but a solid meal for two for just over $20. We each had a single patty burger with fries and a small drink for $21 which is about what the same meal would cost at a fast food joint. I prefer 5 Guys but that’s roughly $30 for the two of us when we go there. The burger was good but nothing special and the fresh cut fries were really good. I liked the burger joint feel of the place and everything was clean. We were the only ones there when we ordered so our food came out quickly but it was pretty busy by the time we left. Overall a pretty good meal at a pretty good price so I imagine we’ll be back sometime.

Burgers and shakes were terrific, and the food took very little time to reach our table. Some menu items are a bit pricy, such as toppings to add to your burgers, but overall a good experience. I would go again.

First time there for wing day and it was great! Bar tender/server was very friendly and very efficient. All the staff we interacted with were great. The star of the show was the food. The wings an order of hot and Bourbon BBQ glaze were perfectly cooked and the fries were great. We will definitely return!

My wife and I went here on a Sunday. We sat inside due to the hot weather (July 6th). We had Hayburner Beer to drink and we started with a Mafia Tots for the appetizer. It was very delicious and we enjoyed it. My wife had street tacos and I had a create-your-burger with American cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. Both were very delicious. The atmosphere is very friendly and quiet enough for conversations. The staff is very friendly too. We enjoy going to Rookies.

I ordered the chicken and fries. Some of the best fries I ever ate. The chicken was good. We waited a bit for our drinks and food but for just 1 server running around helping everyone seated inside and outside he did great. The TVs in the restaurant make it easy to watch sports to entertain people. I’d definitely eat here again.

I really don’t know how to even describe the experience I had here the other day. Quite honestly, I would give 0 stars if I could. My family and I were seated outside which was a nice spot, but that’s as far as all the “nice” went. We started by asking for drinks, 2 beers and 2 waters. The waiter brought the wrong beer for my grandmother then took another 20 minutes to bring out the other 2 glasses of water. When we finally got our order in, I kid you not we ended up waiting OVER AN HOUR..and for what? Chicken fingers and a sandwich??? Absolutely ridiculous. By the time the meal had come out, my appetite had completely dissolved, not that I was really impressed by what was presented in front of me anyway. And then, asking for a box proved to be yet another mountain that the staff could not climb. I had to go into the place after 20 minutes of waiting to ask for one at the bar. You can imagine how getting the check went too.
Kaitlyn M — Google review
Just left after being "sat" (told to sit wherever) with a pile of menus just thrown on the table. 15 minutes, and zero tables visits later they kissed the money of a party of 5 good bye. The other table told us "don't blame you. We'd leave too if we didn't already have our drinks" they were the only other table.
Kevin K — Google review
Food was fine. Service the same but not sure if the bartender was responsible for it all. Atmosphere had me watching news programming that didn't interest me. As a sports bar I would have expected SportsCenter or something.

Mister's Bar and Lanes is a multifaceted establishment that combines a bowling alley, bar, restaurant, concert hall, arcade, and nightclub. The venue offers ample seating for patrons to enjoy drinks with friends or partake in events such as line dancing. Visitors can expect a diverse crowd ranging from 15 to 75 years old during the evening, making it an ideal spot for people-watching. While the noise level can be high at times, the overall experience is pleasant.
It was our first time going to Mister's. We arrived just as the bartender, Emma, made the last call. She helped make our evening a good one with her sense of humor and attitude. Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy our time there!

First off let me say that I do most of my reviews for food and dart board locations. The atmosphere here was seemingly a very nice country feeling to it, the bar was made from the flooring of the old bowling lanes. Very big horseshoe bar with only 1 bartender, I was either not seen or I had to stand directly in front of him and get his attention away from the TV, the food that they did have available... was good, had to go with my third choice since they were out of alot that day. Also the kitchen closes at 8pm . Now for the dart boards, I say they have 2 of them because physically they have 2 bullshooters, 1 of them is almost unusable, the 15" side has multiple stuck segments, the inner webbing is falling out and the backer is coming apart as well, the 13.5" side of the same board the 19 and 20 doesn't register at all. The other board worked well enough but the mechanics that are supposed to keep the face from rotating was broken and we had to stuff napkins in the edge to keep it still while we were throwing. All in all I will not be stopping here again for darts or even just to stop in with friends, it was not a pleasant experience and both of the dart boards need to be replaced or have someone come in to fix them

Brought our Off-road club there for a Tuesday night wing meetup. Over 20 people easily. Which they knew about ahead of time. Well…. Waited an hour and a half for food. We watched people who ordered after us get their food a half hour before us. When asking the waitress if we could maybe get a round of drinks for the wait she said “not her problem and to see the bartender” finally after getting the food it was disgusting. “Charred” wings were fully burnt. Only charred one side and it was like a lay of char on the wings. Not enjoyable. Ordered two different flavors and could not tell a difference. Idk what’s happened to misters but this is unacceptable. Waste of $100

Went for lunch and ordered the chicken sandwich, when it came to the table we were shocked at how small and thin the chicken was. It had cheese on it and I thought it was a cheese sandwich as you couldn’t even see the chicken, the roll was bigger. I was so shocked I forgot to take a picture of it. When I asked the waitress about the size she said that’s what we got from the distributor and we can’t control that. I had her take it off the bill as I was not paying for something that certainly was not worth it. Will not go back there again.

Busy place but rightly so, great for Buffalo eats, pinball, watching sports, and bowling

Great place for Pinball, darts and bowling. A few of the pinball machines could use some maintenance, but still working ok. Had the ribs and they were served a cold, but otherwise tasted fine.

Went here for a “cater party” for a friends daughter. Was disgusted how we were all treated. Sad that this low down place is in a nice town like East Aurora even sadder that my friend has pictures and proof of the terrible service etc and they told her the would refund her some money but nothing!!! And it’s been weeks and now no answer!! Pitiful excuse for a restaurant and bar. Staff was rude and ignorant Food was ridiculous!!! The little food they brought out could hardly feed half the guests and some had to order some pizza becasue there wasn’t enough food. The biggest platter was a side dish!!! Mac and cheese!!!😡😡 which costs how much??? And she was charged just under $1000 for this !!! And bowling! When we couldn’t even start right away becasue one of the lanes wasn’t working!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE EVEN IF THEY PAID ME TOO!! And all of my family friends and coworkers will no longer come here either!!! I can promise you that!!! There was another party there with less people and for that party they brought out a huge amount of food compared to our party!!! Pics for proof. We had one small table. The had a large table with three BIG platters. ROLLS. AND SIDES !!! They wouldn’t even give us rolls for the small amount of pulled pork they gave us!!! First two pics were of the party we were at and the last pic is of the other party !

We came in yesterday because the place across the street was mad house. We were pleasantly surprised. While it took quite a while to get someone to wait on us and take our orders the food was pretty good. There were three of us and we got two brisket dinners and the pulled pork sammich. The meat was nice tender with a okay bark and nice smoke ring(brisket). The pulled pork was a good option too. Would definitely come back to try again.

Nice little family owned business, good food and in only 10 minutes! Staff is friendly and polite and always helpful if you have a problem. Never been unsatisfied. Mmm peanut chicken, general tso, lo mein, can't beat them, and can't beat the prices

My goal is always to give the best reviews BUT last night at this place was the worst. I've gone 3 times now trying to give them the benefit of a doubt (maybe cook had a bad day). We were greeted by a young lady who seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there. I'll pay a pretty dollar for a good meal but $14.95 for a dish that I couldn't finish made me a bit "unhappy". There was some lobster in the dish that was so tough, it was difficult to chew. The other entree was absolutely tasteless. I've been here when they offered a buffet - it was terrible then. Now it is dine-in/takeout. I'm sorry Panda, but my experience with you last night can only give you 5 THUMBS DOWN!
Susan V — Google review
Food is almost always old and rubbery. Low selection. People are nice soups are good but honestly don't think it's busy enough to have a fresh buffet, food sits until it's gone. Not sure where the photos came from above. I have been here a few times (my daughter loves the soup) and it never looks like that
Jessica K — Google review
I give it a two start because I'm nice. And...at least they had food. There was no music. There was hardly any fresh food. My 4 and 5 year old weren't too happy either. Yeah if you want some fast old food...come get you fix. This place should be shut down for real. The service was absolute poop. I want money money back. They can go suck on a fortune cookie in the corner . Peace!!!!!
Jack G — Google review
A great take home business but not many eat in so I waited for fresh food on the buffet. The food was very good when it was made ( I was the only eat in customer). I noticed a steady stream of happy take out customers and heard some commenting how good what they ordered was they ordered it again.
Lyn B — Google review
Cold food. Came in for lunch hour and the buffet way practically empty. All of it, not just one or two, every selection was just empty. In the whole 30-45 minutes we were here, nothing came out of the kitchen. Also, just because I believe in customer service; they were on the phone the whole time; even when asking what drink's we wanted. *And no, it was not for a order, unless whoever was ordering took 35+ minutes to order in Chinese* *P.P.S as leaving, peaked in the kitchen; no one was cooking more for the others coming in as we left.*
Matthew — Google review
This place gave me food poisoning. I’ve ordered from here before and it was good I can’t lie about that. Having that, I grew hungry one day and thought I’d order from here again, so I did. I ordered Lo-Mein and white rice. The Lo-Mein came in this plastic container and it looked like it was just heated up from there. The rice was also very low quality. Sticky and dry. I proceeded to eat the Lo-Mein and afterwards I felt as if I needed to be hospitalized from the pain I felt. Zero out of ten.
Welsby 7 — Google review
Always good food, rice is fluffy. Chicken is fresh, noodles have the right amount of sauce. Egg rolls are crisp, crunchy and fresh. Never been disappointed

The Bar-Bill Tavern, located in a historical building in East Aurora, is a rustic hangout known for its mug club, pub fare, and wide selection of beers. The town itself offers a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of natural spaces nearby. Main Street is home to various local businesses and attractions including the famous Bar-Bill Tavern, renowned for its Buffalo chicken wings and beef on weck. Visitors rave about the cozy yet bustling atmosphere and the perfectly cooked, generously sized wings.
Tables were full so we ordered wings to go and ate at the outdoor picnic table at brewery next door--which was nice. We had the Cajun Honey Butter BBQ, medium and lemon pepper wings. All were great. Go Bills

“Bar Bill’s horseradish hit harder than a Ed Oliver sack.” 💥 Bar Bill – East Aurora, NY When Josh Allen says it’s one of his favorite spots, you listen! Bar Bill delivers with a phenomenal Beef on Weck—tender beef, soft salty-caraway roll, au jus, and a horseradish kick that puts it over the top. The wings? Crispy, flavorful, and a Buffalo must. Medium was great, but I’ll go Medium Hot next time for extra punch. Cozy atmosphere, cold Labatt’s, and worth the wait. Must-try: Beef on Weck & Wings.
Terry B — Google review
There was already a line out front when we got there 5 minutes before open. Once the door opened we got right in, but the place was already almost full. They really knew what they're doing because everything went smoothly. We had drinks within 5 minutes of sitting down and our waitress was very nice. On to the reason we went here in the first place. Cajun Honey-Butter BBQ wings. 10 out of 10, and the homemade blue cheese was a 20 out of 10! It was some of the best wings I've ever had, and definitely the best blue cheese I've ever had. The Cheesy Breadsticks we also amazing. We will get the Beef in Weck next time. It looks amazing, but wings were the initial conquest.
Cranium2001 — Google review
True old school tavern charm with the best Buffalo wing sauce created. The wings are always cooked perfectly and the sauce is the best by far, giving both heat and flavor. It's easy to see why after almost 50 years, they are truly a Buffalo landmark. The sauce is even excellent on tenders. Don't wait though, the place fills fast and after one meal, you will understand why. When I tell people where to get the best wings, it's Bar-Bill for sure, and all 3 of there locations are great, having finally made it to the original. And the Bleu Cheese is good too!
Buddy C — Google review
Got here as soon as they opened, which is basically the only way to avoid a wait. But these wings... they are so good! The hot was *actually* hot, and the cajun honey-butter-bbq had great flavor. Texture was on point too! The wait for food to come out wasn't too long, but since they hand-paint the wings, it's not quick either. Regardless, a top-tier wing place for sure!
Alexander G — Google review
Best wings I've ever had. Perfectly sauced and seasoned. We were lucky that it wasn't that busy when we got there which is unusual for this place especially on game day. Our waiter was amazing. We'll definitely be back.
Glenda E — Google review
Found out this was Josh Allen's favorite wing spot and just had to give it a try. The Cajun Honey Butter BBQ wings were so delicious, sneak spicy but worth every bite. Yes, it was very busy today and we had to wait quite some time but the staff did everything they could to be attentive, checked on us right when our beers were low and even contributed to the fun atmosphere. Wait times are not their fault, we just flew in from Brooklyn NY. Happily waited and had a great time. Highly recommend this place.
Barbara C — Google review
I don’t normally write reviews for carry out. My son stopped by Bar Bill to have some wings before picking me up for a long drive home. He was so impressed that he got me an order of wings and a beef on weck to go. They were both so good that I felt compelled to write a five star review for the best wings I’ve ever had. And I imagine they must be even so much better in the restaurant than after the 20 minutes drive to get them to me. I can’t wait to come back to Buffalo to have them in the restaurant freshly made and to eat them in the gorgeous space as he showed me pictures of the interior.

Hamlin Park, one of the oldest parks in East Aurora, is a gem offering a variety of amenities for people of all ages. The park features two picnic shelters, tables, and grills for enjoyable picnics. Sports enthusiasts can make use of the volleyball court, basketball court, and multi-purpose field. Families with kids will find it to be an ideal place for playtime. Additionally, the park hosts events like Lilac Fest in May and offers free entertainment such as plays.

Had a football game here. It was a decent area with decent space for the kids to run around while watching my son play football. The concession stand and bathrooms were a bit far away though.

Plenty to do at this shaded park. I have loved this space my whole life and it continues to live up to its high standards for my next generation. I love seeing Aurora Players' performances here in the summer and the fireworks for the 4th of July. The playground has a good selection but some items are in need of repair.

My girls wanted to ride their new bikes, so I figured the tennis courts would be perfect... however, (most of) the fencing wasn't up and was lying on the tennis court. It also seems that since we moved to East Aurora this park has always looked more like a construction site than a park. Although I have not been over to the playground area so I can't speak for that part of the park. But what I have experienced has been less than desirable. Hopefully they finish construction and get rid on the dirt and sloppy grass area is fixed and it would be a beautiful park!!

We really enjoyed our meal here. They have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The vegan soup was delicious. I only regret getting my sandwich on bread and not as a wrap. It is a shame they are going to close this location as there was ample seating including a nice patio.

Great local spot that we’re very lucky to have here in EA (bonus points that they’re the only spot open at 6am for us early early risers). Newly revamped summer menu gets a 10/10 as does the consistently great customer service. Do yourself a favor and don’t forget a scone on your way out! Also, highly recommend their bagels (which pairs very well with an iced matcha).

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this smoothie place. We received horrible service and ordered one smoothie and two smoothie bowls, all of which were awful and on top of that we waited 35+ minutes and the prices are outrageous. We also tried three different juices, and they were not only terrible but had mold in them! To make matters worse, the employees were discussing thoughts related to gun violence, war crimes, and people with autism and making jokes about people with disabilities, which was extremely disturbing. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have heard not only good reviews about this place and i am extremely disappointed!! Out of everyone in my group not one person was able to enjoy their food, everything was inedible and we were extremely disturbed!

My wife and I visited here on a Saturday afternoon. To start I had the Kaleidoscope cocktail and my wife had the 42 North Borderland IPA. I also had the Heat Wave. All were very delicious and refreshing. We had the Hot Honey Chicken Fritters as an appetizer. It was very delicious. My wife had the Cobb Salad and I had the Mushroom Cheeseburger. Both were very delicious, and I liked how the cheese melted with the burger. Our server was Isabelle. She was very friendly and a hard worker. We sat on the patio alley. The atmosphere both inside and out was very relaxing. My only recommendation is that the door that goes to the patio alley needs a window so that one knows that it's okay to open the door. We would return for future visits.

Atmosphere is gorgeous and cozy. The staff is super friendly. Our order took a while and I think there was probably some kind miscommunication with the front ad the back but we did get and it was worth the wait. Plus again, staff was so nice about it. I am guessing it's not the norm. Definitely going back again. The Pot Roast Dip is to die for and it's REFRESHING to see other options than fries or chips for the sides. We got the roasted brussel sprouts and went nuts over them! More restaurants should off alternative veggies like this as sides. Do yourself a favor and go.

You go up to the counter to order your tacos, simple options. Plenty of seating options indoor and on their two patio spaces, once your buzzer rings (very shortly after) you get your grub and wow their portions are great! Lots of meat in the tacos. Great flavor too. Would recommend. We got 2 chicken and 1 pork shoulder (carnitas) Guero tacos and loved them. Also tables had wet wipes as well as napkins. Clean bathroom

Been meaning to try their new location since they moved a few years ago. My mom had been a few times and was so excited about the bowl meal she’d gotten, but was a little disappointed that it was less flavorful this time. I had the street tacos, which were good and had more meat than I’d expected. The staff was friendly and it was nice to visit when it was a little quieter than it is during the summer.

The food was excellent! We got 4 different types of tacos and all were excellent! The cocktails were alright. Nothing noteworthy, and we would not purchase them again. My biggest complaint is that everything except for the cocktail glasses was disposable.

I’ve had them a couple times over the past few years and the quality has always been great. I think it’s gotten even better. The last time I was there I waited an hour for food but this time I walked in and out within 10 minutes. The birria tacos are banging!! And only $10.50 for 2 tacos with all the fixings which is fairly priced compared to other places I’ve gone to for birria tacos. I also got chips and salsa which were really good you can’t go wrong with chips and salsa. And they give you 2 different kinds of salsa which was a nice surprise. The workers there were very kind too.

Stopped by this past Saturday. Warm for an October day. Plenty of outdoor seating. Inside is smaller. Rowdy bar. Felt like Florida in July. Classic burrito with beef was a gigantic serving for the price point and delicious. One fish taco, one shrimp taco = two delicious tacos. Personal preference: I liked the shrimp taco better. On the table outside they had wet wipes and napkins readily available. I thought this was a generous touch. Thank you for having us!

They have really great tacos. The atmosphere is nice and the people there are really friendly

I really love this place it was an accidental find! My cousin opened a restaurant a few doors away an while going to visit we parked in their lot, I looked at my grandson and said I guess we're getting tacos as we stepped out he mentioned how amazing it smelled outside, and I had to agree. The food was absolutely amazing and a very relaxed but fun atmosphere, not to mention they know how to make michalattas!!🤣 I didn't have one tho due to having grandson with me. I will be back!!

I always choose Left Coast Taco for my birthday lunch, and really any time I am in East Aurora and hungry. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor is pet friendly and the staff is wonderful! I wanted a margarita but was driving and they offered me a non alcoholic tequila which I didn't even know was a thing, but it was great!!! Their food is always absolutely delicious, especially the Cali fries!!!

American restaurant
Riley Street Station is a warm and relaxed eatery in East Aurora, offering generous portions of pub food along with a variety of drinks. The town itself exudes friendliness and a leisurely atmosphere, with an array of establishments that maintain its welcoming character. Riley Street Station has recently undergone improvements, impressing visitors with its extensive selection of local beers and well-presented, delicious dishes. The revamped menu has garnered praise for its diverse offerings, making it difficult for patrons to choose just one dish.
Stopped in for dinner and it was packed. We ended up just eating at the bar, as the wait was an hour. It worked out fine. Riley Street Station was decorated up nicely for the holidays. The Mediterranean wrap was good. Their fresh cut fries were great. The hand cut fingers were delicious. The scampi was reported to be good as well. The prices seemed reasonable. Service was good except for clearing the dirty plates, but overall a nice experience. We will be going back.

We enjoyed the cowboy burgers for lunch and I opted for the sweet potato fries. The food was delicious! I have had sweet potato fries at many places and these were really good! 5/5 on the sauce! Portion size for the burger was perfect too!

Pretty neat place as far as looks. The food was okay. The online menu is not the same as the restaurant menu ( prob just not updated) so make sure if you are going there for something specific they have it first.

Food was excellent. The chicken fingers were huge, just service was a tad slow and I Sat facing the sink/service area.... Appreciate the fact the owner or manager came around asking how our dinner was. P.S. the Cajun BBQ sauce is amazing!
Mary K — Google review
I really enjoyed my chicken water! Just hope to see more water next time though. Gross food, $14 for one piece of mushroom that was also swimming in water. Service wasn’t great either. Atmosphere and decoration is the only thing thats good and you regret everything quickly after. They only have 4-5 things on the main menu and they shouldn’t be this bad. Never going again.

I've been dying to try this place for awhile, so me, my boyfriend, and son went last weekend. The food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the creamy spinach and artichoke appetizer. The service was fabulous, even with the busy atmosphere, which, too or surprise, there was even a band playing! Great music, great food, and great staff, all for a great price! Definitely will be back.

Tldr: No service during the unreasonably long waits for food, with way too much noise and a surly waitress. ** I do not recommend the glass patio if you have any kind of hearing problem or hearing related sensory issues. ** I went for lunch with a small group of around 10 people. The waitress got our drinks to the table and took our food orders fairly quickly. She then disappeared until our food was dropped off **over an hour later**. At that point, she offered drink refills and disappeared again until it was time to pay and leave. She also had an attitude - not a good one. I had the burger with apples on it. The apples were diced into tiny pieces and mixed with the BBQ sauce. I only know they were actually there because I could see the tiny lumps in the sauce. They added nothing to the taste or texture and didn't live up to the hype in the menu. The burger itself was properly cooked the way I asked for and tasted good. We sat in the glass patio. The scenery was a pretty view of the side of a hill. There's nothing to keep the sound from bounching around and echoing, so it was very loud with people talking and the overhead music. It was a small room with few people in it, but it sounded like the middle of a large crowd.
Sara W — Google review
Went on Sunday, only seating at bar tables which was fine. Bartender totally ignored when we went up to order food and drinks. She was too busy with her friends at the other end of the bar to care that we needed anything. She was telling other people she didn't want to work, but nobody would take her shift. Some guy at bar took empty plates away (not sure if he was her bf). Other patrons were ready to leave. Hostess was absent when additional people were coming in.

Pizza Del Aureo's is a strip-mall pizza parlor that has been serving customers since 1994. The bright and open concept of the place provides a comfortable dining experience, with friendly and informative staff. The menu mainly focuses on pizzas and wings, which are consistently good in flavor and quality. Customers appreciate the quick service, clean environment, and deliciously cooked pizzas with generous toppings.
Bob and Kathy own this place in East Aurora, NY. Located in the Larwood Plaza off Oakwood Avenue between King St and Elm St. It's the first business on the left side. The inside looks like a 50s diner, with old style model cars, old shop signs, a checkered floor, and the large booth is actually part of a 57 Chevy with the hood over the table and each headlight is lit up! The food is really good and is made up fresh for every order. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Great atmosphere!👍😍

Here is why we had such an outstanding experience at Pizza Del Aureo’s. First off, the parking lot is nice and is in a safe area. Then when walking into the place, it is a bright and open concept, which is very comfortable. The person we talked to was sweet and she was fun, informative, and she even went above and beyond later in our experience. Pizza. The most important thing. This place did not seem to advertise any other foods to my knowledge apart from wings, and I think its a good choice. We had a large, half split, cheese and sausage pepperoni pizza. It came out within 15 minutes and looked beautiful. They perfected the slicing to a science. Each piece had zero flop, was sturdy, and had a sharp triangle form. The pizza took a few minutes to cool down, then we went to town! Halfway in, we asked for some arugula, but she had a better idea. They have a basil plant that you can take leaves off of! Above and beyond is an understatement. We finished the whole large pizza between the two of us. It was that good. Their beverage selection is great too. There are a few sodas from a local soda manufacturer that are definitely our top picks. Cheap too. That you Pizza Del Aureo’s for an experience we won’t forget. I hope to visit the area again and have your pizza again!

I walked in behind a mother and daughter tonight. The girl wanted a coin for the candy machine. The cashier didn't hesitate to grab a coin from her tip jar and offer it to the child. As I walked up to the counter I was greeted by name. The owner walked over as I was redeeming my coupon (won from the lottery they held) and congratulated me. Always great service, great food, and a great price!

Ordered a medium pizzia, usually everything is very good but not this last time. I called and mentioned it tasted like a grocery store bought pizza. They mentioned they have a new oven, BUT that's not it! It was definitely a cheaper dough, and pepperoni! Will not go there again! Too bad, I liked the old pizzia.

Pizza Del Aureo's food products are the best. Always expedient delivery, family kind delivery drivers, and always hot and fresh. Their staff are cordial, friendly, and very helpful. There is never a time I tip less than 25% for their dedicated service. The owner is top of the line, kind to his employees and customers without fail. They offer special deal clubs and special inbox special deals on a weekly basis. This a family run business that feels like family to us. Their food base is either made fresh in house and derived from top rated food sources. YOU JUST CANNOT GO WRONG .... PIZZA DEL AUREO'S!!

We always get our pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. Absolutely love their mushrooms, they are thick and juicy not flat and dried up like in some other places. The crust is perfect with the right amount of chewiness. The sauce is mild and the pepperoni spot on. The people who take your order are always courteous on the phone. The counter person is always kind and greets you with a smile. The pizza is always ready when they say it is. Best pizza joint in East Aurora as far as we’re concerned.

Might want to consider training the kids at the register basic math skills and how a drawer balances at the end of a shift...$9.45, I hand the individual a $50 and she rings it in. I reach into my pocket and tell them I have the 45 cents. They say, "I'd have to void it and re ring it in because I can't do the math." We're doomed as a society if kids can't do the most basic of math.

Very good pizza at comparable prices to other local pizzerias. Great flavor, cooked well! My only complaint is toppings are quite skimpy and very far from the edge of the crust.

When in Buffalo, there is no need to search elsewhere for cakes or indulgent baked goods as Blue Eyed Baker is the go-to bakery. However, it is unfortunate that a similar bakery cannot be found in their new hometown of Raleigh. The family eagerly awaits each visit home to enjoy the wonderful treats from Blue Eyed Baker. For Mother's Day, they even send their mom breakfast from this bakery.
I have always enjoyed Blue Eyed Bakery baked goods from the Hamburg Farmers Market and we decided to take a trip out to East Aurora early on a Sunday morning to check out their brick and mortar restaurant. After walking past cases of baked goods, we picked a table and were greeted within a couple minutes with menus and chilled water. Our server, Helen, was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the traditional yogurt bowl and Chai tea. My friend ordered the farmers breakfast sandwich with a regular coffee. Helen came to double check to make sure there was no allergies to berries (which impressed me that she thought of that). My yogurt bowl was ample. The blueberry jam gave enough sweetness to the yogurt and the homemade granola was delicious. My friend's farmer breakfast sandwich was enormous! She loved it! Chai tea was perfect....smells just like Grandma's kitchen. After brunch, I had asked Helen about gluten free offerings that I could take to go for a colleague and she made some great recommendations!

Really cute spot to stop and grab a quick bite for lunch or dinner. They were all out of pizzas at 12:45 so our menu options for lunch were a bit more limited but we were still able to make choices everyone was happy with. The hibiscus tea was the perfect amount of flavor without being over sweet and the turkey sandwich was next level. The side salad left a little to be desired as it was only a few pieces of greens. Service was a bit hectic at times with waiters not coming to check on us, bring us silverware and some confusion at the pastry counter but overall will check back again!

Stopped in to get something to eat. The prices are outrageous for food but I was hungry. I ordered the Lox “Bagel” on sour dough. Turned out to be sour dough bread. 🤷🏽‍♀️ it was very good. The pickled onions really complicated the spread and lox. I also ordered a cappuccino and I can’t lie, it’s so good!!!!! I also got a chocolate boka (?) to take home. It looks like a large cinnamon bun but with chocolate cream cheese topping. Also, extremely delicious. The girl taking orders at the front could’ve been a little nicer. I felt like I was annoying her. Not to mention she was taking her time getting to peoples orders at the counter. I walking away and coming back slowly while talking to other staff. Overall, the place is clean and sharp. Like I said, my only complaint (and loss of star) is the price. Probably wouldn’t justify a $29 order again (lox & drink) the dessert was ordered after for another $7 which wasn’t bad for its size.

I was ending a much needed getaway and wanted a great bite to start my journey back home. I had did some research before I had started my mini vacation and was really excited to check this place out. I walked in and looked around then went to the cashier to wait in line. When it was my turn to be waited on I explained I wasn't from around there and I looked up their menu and was wanting to get a bite to eat. She asked if I was dining in or taking out. If I was dining in that I should go have a seat. I asked a few questions about the food but when I asked for a menu to look at while I was waiting she said "actually no" and told me that a server would know I haven't been waited on if I didn't have a menu. I thought that was a bit odd but it was my first time there so I went with it. While sitting I was able to look over the whole menu and start an online order but I wanted a better look at the baked goods so I cancelled that and walked back up front to wait in line again. The girl greats me again and it's obvious she doesn't recognize me even though I was just up there 15 or so minutes ago. I told her that nobody acknowledged me while I was sitting there even though two wait staff passed me by nobody said anything to me. She apologized of course which was nice but she was doing take out orders only. I told her it would have been nice to have been able to eat but nobody seemed to care that day. Before I turned to leave the girl gives me a card for $2 off a drink. I appreciate the gesture but not everybody drinks or likes a mimosa with breakfast. The baked goods were okay, the almond croissant definitely stood out!

I've been here several times. It all started out great. Good food friendly service. It's been a bit of a decline each visit. This past time we were there Monday 4/21, the service was essentially non existent. Even going to the register to order or to ask the soup if the day. Several times workers were in and out of the dining area looking harried and never asking how things were. No smile. No eye contact. The bagels, pastry items and bread were good as usual. The other items were not. The turkey on the sandwich was dry and grizzle. The cranberry aoli was THICK and soaked the bread. Also very thick Brie- just hard to eat even with a fork and knife. It just did not taste good! Even the pickle was complete mush. Very disappointing visit.
Sherry K — Google review
We ordered Vanilla latte, breakfast sandwich, veggin omelette and hot honey latte. The breakfast sandwich comes in a croissant and the croissant was too buttery or oily, it was literally dripping with oil. The veggie omelette and vanilla latte were really good.

I’ve had several food and drink items, all of which were excellent. Their croissants, macarons, and cupcakes are favorites in our household. If you’re looking for a family friendly spot to eat, then this is absolutely the place to go. I was impressed with their large bathrooms having a changing table available. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Love visiting here!

Food was great. I really liked the pork chop and the artichoke. The coffee martini was not the best I’ve had; it was quite weak. Service was good; everyone was friendly. They missed my main dish in the order, however, not a big deal.

Brewery
Located in a converted 1918 grain facility, 42 North Brewing Company is a must-visit spot in the area. This brewery offers a rich historical experience along with an array of handcrafted brews including IPAs, Pilsners, Ales and more. The venue hosts live entertainment and exciting events sponsored by local vendors. Visitors can also enjoy outdoor adventures while sipping on their favorite drinks.
Depth and variety of styles, thought is put into the brews they craft. The BBQ is solid, and the sauces are unique takes on the tradition. Try the Mac n Cheese, I know people say that in every restaurant, and I hate that too when the Mac is avg, but the 42 North Mac is stupendous, great texture, each noodle strung with Cheese, not just soaked in velvetta like other places. Great job 👏

My wife and I make trips to East Aurora often and these visits are usually concluded with a stop at the 42 North brewery, home of our favorite Lagers, Ales, Porters and Stouts. ( my personal favorite is the Borderland IPA, my wife's is the Asylem Porter) The food (provided by Fat Bobs BBQ) is excellent and perfect accompanment the wide selection of brews available. I also make the trek to the brewery on my way back from The Guitar Factory in Orchard Park to pick up new and seasonal specialties not always available at my local beer store. The bartenders are courteous and knowledgable and they make a FINE Manhattan as well. I usually get Whole Farm Nachos (My Favorite) or Smoked wings. I also have had the Breadhive Pretzels and Slider Trio

Lots of beer choices and a great atmosphere. Tried the St Patrick's Day taco special with corn beef and cabbage. It was surprisingly very good. Got a laugh out of the whimsical use of beer kegs in the men's room.

We were extremely disappointed here. We drove all the way to East Aurora and this was our very first stop because we were looking forward to it. When we went in, the two workers there made us feel very unwelcome, as they ignored our arrival and they made us feel like we were interrupting them from talking with the only other two patrons in the restaurant who were clearly their friends. It was clear it was our first time there yet they did not offer any tips of what to try/be friendly. We honestly debated just leaving but decided on at least trying a flight. The beers were good but there were tons of flies flying around us and the table was very sticky. So we didn't stay for food and left after the flight. It is also ridiculous you order at the counter, pick everything up at the counter, pay at the counter, and then when you pay are automatically expected to give a tip. A real shame. We will not be back.

This is by far one of my top 10 favorite breweries within the Buffalo/Rochester area. The Asylum porter and also the borderlands ipa are incredible and full of flavor. Their food menu from fat bobs bbq is small but really good. The slider sampler is always my go-to. Highly suggest stopping here if you love craft beer.

There’s nothing like sitting outside in a Biergarten! The sun was warm, the beer was cold, and the food by Fat Bob’s was delicious. The restaurant itself had tons of seating and the service was friendly and welcoming. We love coming to 42 North when we’re in East Aurora.

We had our WNY Beer Trail Pass and happened to be in E. Aurora, so we stopped in. We have been here before and have always enjoyed ourselves. The food is good with a Fat Bob's Smokehouse on premise. They have a decent selection of beers (not all on tap). The patio is nice especially if you have a larger group. Pricing is competitive. Always a must stop for us if we are in the area!

Located in East Aurora, the historic Aurora Theatre is a must-visit destination for movie enthusiasts. Operating since 1925, this charming one-screen theater offers a vintage cinema experience that transports visitors back to the 1920s or 30s. The theater's interior and concession stand exude an old-timey charm, making it a unique and delightful place to catch a film.
I love what West Herr has done to this theater since taking over! It's new and modern, but still has that amazing small town,"old-timey" feel! The popcorn was delicious and the theater had classic seating and modern leather recliners type seats. Literally couldn't ask for more from this theater!

Popcorn is to die for - and the seats are so comfy I actually fell asleep briefly. Would 100% recommend. Honestly, my only wish is that they played more action/comedies. But alas - this is only one man’s opinion. Otherwise, their traditional style is impeccable and refreshing.

I think we take for granted nice little hometown theaters like the Aurora Theatre in East Aurora. It is a one screen theatre that posts movies for all interests. I felt like I was transported back to the 20’s or 30’s with the interior and the concession stand. I was lucky enough to have gone when William Fichtner and Kim Coates showed the debut of their film, Cold Brook. How special is it when movie stars want to show their film at a theatre because of its vibe...

The Besto' Pesto salad I had was phenomenal! I LOVE basil, and I love pesto. This was a home run for me. My first time there today, and I will definitely be back again. They will customize your salad however you want. I also had the Protein PB&J smoothie, and that was delicious!!

I had high hopes for Homegrown, but my recent visit was a major disappointment. I ordered the Apple Grain Bowl, which honestly should just be called "Bowl of Kale." There was supposed to be chicken in it, but I found zero chicken—just a mountain of kale! Just to reiterate I ordered a grain bowl not a salad. To make matters worse, I waited forever for my order to be taken and felt completely ignored by the staff. After the long wait, I finally paid $18 for a meal that left me feeling unsatisfied. Overall, I was very frustrated with the experience and won’t be returning anytime soon. Save your money!

Loved the atmosphere provided by the welcoming employees! Had some groovy beats playing to accompany the delectable menu. So many healthy options served fresh to your liking! The Roycroft Campus founded by Elbert Hubbard in 1897 was the birth place of the American Arts and Crafts movement that was a direct response to the Industrial Revolution. It was more than just a art movement...it was a way of thinking. Many of it's ideas are still relevant today. The Campus started off as the Roycroft Press which printed many of Elberts literary works. He previously worked at the Larkin Soap Company in Buffalo, NY. His wife Alice Hubbard was a noted women's suffragist. Elbert and Alice would eventually die aboard the RMS Lusitania. Fun Facts: A famous Roycrofter named W. W. Denslow illustrated the children's book The Wonderful World of Oz that would become adapted into the legendary film The Wizard of Oz. If you walk around the Campus and East Aurora you can see where he got his inspiration from. The lion head located on The Chapel is widely believed to be the inspiration for the illustration of the Cowardly Lion for W. W. Denslow's children's book The Wonderful World of Oz. The similarity is still evident in the iconic film adaptation The Wizard of Oz.

Nestled on Main Street, Pizzeria Florian is a must-visit for pizza lovers and food enthusiasts alike. I recently indulged in their vegan pizza, which completely surpassed my expectations! The crust was a delightful balance of crispy exterior and soft, chewy interior, providing the perfect foundation for fresh toppings that truly shine. Whether you're vegan or just someone who appreciates great flavors, this pizza will leave you craving more—trust me; you won't miss the meat or dairy at all!
This place is busy and when I say busy, I'm talking about a good 45min wait type of busy. But you know what, it's totally worth the wait. You order at the counter and they will bring your food/drinks to you. I love the open kitchen concept, and it's always a joy to watch fresh pizza being made. Would definitely come back Chopped salad- easily can serve 3 people. If I didn't want pizza, I would definitely just come here for the salad and wine itself. Mushroom pizza- nice thin crust and delicious flavor profile. Cacio e Pepe- a ricotta top pizza that tastes really amazing.
J H — Google review
We stopped here for lunch on a bustling Saturday on the strip. It's the kind of place where you order at the counter and have a seat and they run the food to you. Excellent food. We really enjoyed the chop salad and the mushroom pizza. The pizza dough was a perfect Neapolitan with toasted bubbles and nice thin crust. The only problem with paying before you eat is that your second beer requires you to get up and go back and wait in queue, get your card out etc. We will definitely be back to try all the other pizza options.

I love pizza. With that being said, Pizzeria Florian is THE BEST pizza I have ever had in my life. The crust. The toppings. The sauce. Perfect. We had the coppacabana and it was AMAZING. We started with the elote dip that came with homemade focaccia which was also perfect. I cannot say enough about this place and the national awards do not lie. Get there and get there fast.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long time!! So delicious and flavorful. This was the Calabrian crunch. And they even delivered it right to my work (I work right next door) but it was very sweet of them.

CATERING REVIEW: From the very first email, Jay was incredible — always quick, thorough, and so easy to communicate with. He didn’t blink at any of my perfectionist requests, nailed our “JUST MARRIED” pizza moment for our "pizza cutting", and delivered the most delicious pizzas for our guests all night long. He and the Pizza Florian team accommodated every dietary need and kept the pies coming — and let’s just say, they were a hit. We couldn’t keep them on the table for long before they disappeared! Even though we barely had a chance to eat ourselves, our guests can’t stop raving about how amazing everything was (and many even took some home). Jay also worked seamlessly with our caterers for additional food (the Grange) and our wedding planner, truly making it such a stress free process. I’m beyond grateful to have had Jay and his team as part of our wedding day. Their professionalism, warmth, and next-level pizza made the night unforgettable. I highly recommend stopping by their spot in East Aurora, or hiring them for your next event. ***will add more photos when we receive from photographer**

Pizzeria Florian is one of our new favorite spots in East Aurora. We went here the evening after planning our wedding at the Hayloft in the Grove to celebrate, and loved it so much we got it catered for lunch on our actual wedding day! The pizza style and crust is so good - it's not that super heavy greasy kind of pizza. Rather it is fluffy and flavorful and truly delicious. They have really unique selections, too! The customer service here is fantastic - between the owner, Jay, and everyone we interacted with in the restaurant, everyone is so kind. It is a beautiful atmosphere with a warm, welcoming energy. Also, per my bridesmaid who has been vegan for the past 10 years, she said this was THE BEST vegan pizza she's ever had! Thank you Pizzeria Florian, we appreciate you and can't wait to come back soon!

Their homemade artisan pizzas are delicious. The Calabrian Crunch is outstanding! Being able to sit on the sidewalk on a lovely Saturday afternoon is delightful. The servers are always friendly and very attentive.

Mexican restaurant
Arriba Tortilla is a spacious and laid-back Mexican restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for casual dining and enjoying frozen margaritas. Despite its popularity, the restaurant's charm lies in its bustling ambiance. The ample parking shared with neighboring establishments makes it convenient to visit. Guests can expect prompt service and generous portions of delicious food, such as flavorful fajitas that can easily satisfy multiple diners.
Consistently good Mexican food for the area. The nachos are to die for, a major recommendation. However they are massive so bring like 5 people. Vegetarian options are readily available. Only possible issue is this place gets busy fast and can have long wait times for both seating and food. I recommend going in off hours.
Elena K — Google review
All the usual Mexican-American selections plus a few creative menu items in a colourful atmosphere at this restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly, forgot to bring the hot sauce I asked for but I ended up just fine without it so I didn't really try to get her attention, and otherwise she was attentive enough. I tried the veggie tomatilla flatbread. It was like an open-faced quesadilla. The tomatilla sauce was delicious (but salty), and I liked the assortment of veggies. Super cheesy. The tortilla was not sturdy enough to support the weight of all the toppings so I had to fork-and-knife it. I enjoyed this; it was different and kind of fun. Huge portions. I ate 5/8 slices of my flatbread. I was with my parents who ordered 1 taco each and that was enough for a complete meal for both of them. While it doesn't stand out to me compared to similar Mexican-American restaurants, it was good and I would consider stopping here again if I'm driving through again.
Dana S — Google review
An interesting take on Mexican food… it’s not what I expected but it was a decent meal. I will say, the portions are absolutely Texas sized and you can get away with sharing a meal and still satisfy your hunger… I had the green enchiladas with a veggie filling (thank you for having vegetarian options!) No one at our table was able to finish their meals. 😅 The atmosphere was cute and the wait staff was super patient and sweet.
Norm H — Google review
This was our second visit to this Mexican themed restaurant and we loved the food and attentive staff but both times it as terribly loud with all patrons attempting to talk loudly over others. The decor is nice and tables are located far enough apart except for the crescendo of loud conversation. The management should inform customers that they should leave their stadium screaming at the door.

The food was fantastic, perfectly cooked to perfection. I had the chicken flautas, with all the sides on the side. That jap jelly is to die for! The only thing that eclisped the immaculate food, was the service. Our hostess was so quick to seat, get us drinks, and chips and salsa. We felt so at home thanks to the service of, Emily, I think her name was. While no one could even try to follow Emily's service, Bridget waddled along and knocked it out of the park. She was quick, speedy, timely, efficient, kind, compassionate, and above all else, professional. Our food was ordered and brought out within 10-15 minutes, and it was beautiful prepared. Compliments to the chef on that one. Hats off to the owner for cultivating such an amazing experience through great service, great food, and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend requesting either Bridget or Emily if you want fantastic service like I received today. 10/10, would give 6 stars if I could.

First time eating here, atmosphere was good, a little loud for my tatse. Our server was Hannah R. She was outstanding. Food decent. Not bad by any means but not as good as other places with same type of food.

Food is amazing, great service, lovely outside dining area in back. Had Flautas and combo dinner. Steak tacos were delicious. Loved the corn pudding. Great atmosphere, Mexican motif. Bar has nice selection. Easy access. Rear entrance to patio area. Not your average Mexican, different flavors really take the experience to a new level.

The Roycroft Inn, a charming 1905 establishment located on the historic Roycroft Campus, offers comfortable suites, a delightful restaurant, and a cozy lounge. Situated in East Aurora, this village is home to Fisher Price and the hometown of President Millard Fillmore. The town boasts three beautiful parks for outdoor activities and is dotted with family-owned restaurants and quaint shops along Main Street.
Our family stayed at the Roycroft Inn for one night following a wedding reception. The staff was extremely helpful, in coordinating our check inn and check out times to ensure we could make it to the wedding on time. The morning following the reception, we hosted 60 wedding guests at the Roycroft Inn for brunch. We were given a private room decorated beautifully. The food was AMAZING!! In addition to the usual brunch items ; hand carved prime rib and Turkey was available. You could also order a custom omelette if you wanted. Topped off with unlimited mimosas made to experience wonderful. Thank you for for providing such a wonderful experience!!
Tom A — Google review
I’ve been to Roycroft a few times over the years—the unique Arts and Crafts atmosphere makes it a great spot for special occasions. Dinner is always a treat (recommend the coconut curry). I tried the Sunday brunch for the first time recently and had mixed feelings: the desserts were fantastic, and a few items like the chocolate chip banana bread and roasted potatoes stood out. Unfortunately, there were no vegan main dishes, which was disappointing enough that I wouldn’t return for brunch. Others in my group weren’t impressed either—the omelet was bland, and the chicken was tough.
R B — Google review
I had the pleasure of staying here on a recent business trip to the East Aurora area. Top notch staff, lovely, historic inn. Great location to walk around the downtown. My only negative in staying here was hearing the footsteps of my upstairs neighbors on the hardwood floors as they turned in for the night and used the bathroom in the middle of the night.
K R — Google review
We love the brunch experience and specifically come for that a few times a year. The service is always excellent and sitting outside in spring, summer or fall is very enjoyable. Bottomless mimosas and pointsettas are still available, but an additional cost. During football season it's crowded with people staying at the hotel or having brunch before the game and it gets very loud inside. Always make reservations. Almost every time we've been there, I've seen walk ins turned away.
Kelly H — Google review
We came for Sunday brunch and it was just ok. Not worth the price in my opinion. The unlimited mimosas for $6 were great though and the staff was very attentive.

The Roycroft Inn helped us from start to finish with our wedding. We had a wedding planner, Celeste, who did a fanatic job. We had waitstaff and cooks who made our dinning experience 2nd to none. The atmosphere and scenery was perfect for pictures and for building memories. The prices were fair and the food was amazing. Thank you Celeste for you help.
Timothy C — Google review
The hotel has a charming antique feel, with its historic architecture adding to the unique ambiance. Despite its age, the building has a quaint and welcoming vibe, making for a delightful stay. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth experience from check-in to departure.
Satya B — Google review
We were a party of four; two are vegetarian, and I'm vegan. The food choices for me were extremely limited. There were no jams or jellies offered, so I had half of a dry bagel, a tasteless dinner roll, and an English muffin. The only fresh fruit available was honeydew, cantaloupe, and pineapple. There were no crackers, and the only other thing I could eat was olives. Everything else was either eggs, cheese, or animal products. Even the roasted potatoes were drowning in butter. If you're living a plant-based life, the Roycroft Inn brunch is a hard pass.

The Globe Restaurant is a well-established tavern that offers a variety of American and Italian dishes, including pasta, seafood, and ribs, along with a selection of cocktails. Visitors have praised the delicious fish fry and teriyaki shrimp salad. The staff has been commended for their excellent service, with specific mentions of servers Mandy and Katie. While some customers noted discrepancies in menu prices and refill policies, others appreciated the accommodating nature of the owner Molly Flynn.
My family just had dinner here. The fish fry is to die for! Best ever! I had the teriyaki shrimp salad and it was delicious. Our server, Mandy, was wonderful- especially considering our high maintenance! She was great. Thank you to the owner, Molly Flynn for accommodating our large party. I highly recommend The Globe!

We came for a fish dinner. I got a broiled Cajun seasoned fish, baked potato and green beans. Food quality was good, not outstanding but good. The fish was a good quality. Great rye bread. The potatoes and green beans were ok. Service was good.

Great dinner place. Super fish fry, definitely fresh. Not too busy when we came in but they take reservations. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options!

We were seated right away. Food was good. Our waitress was a new hire. I think she did a splendid job. I hope we see her on our next visit. I think her name was Katie. Only complaint: menu prices did not match our bill and we weren't told refills weren't free. Not a deal breaker for us.

Beautiful day to enjoy a great meal outside. I had the steak salad. Steak was cooked perfectly, greens and veggies we very fresh. Everything was wonderful for my son and myself. Wonderful friendly service as well. We will be back!
Tiffany P — Google review
We were looking for somewhere local as we passed through and walked to ever other place in town before stopping here. We thought it looked too pricey for a quick lunch. We were wrong. It wasn't as cheap as fast (obviously) food but it was every penny. It was just so pleasant. We sat on the patio and watch the world go buy. THE HOUSE MADE DRESSING (LEMON AND GARLIC?) WAS TERRIFIC!! It felt special. And our server (Lauren?) took such great care of us. She got slammed just as we walked in, but was cool and collected and we never felt neglected. Give that girl a raise!!
Travis H — Google review
Great food and atmosphere. Reminded me of an English pub. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed. Only negative was the length of time it took to get our food. We waited nearly 40 minutes before entrees arrived. Kitchen was slammed, so it was understandable. Still, I would have expected them to be prepared to handle the volume. It was our first time there so perhaps it was just an off night for kitchen crew. The fish fry and ribs were very good! We will definitely be going back.

My group and I couldn't have had a better experience here! As a birthday present for someone who is an owl lover, we did their Trainer's Apprentice program which gives you the chance to meet some of their animals. We're all animal lovers, so we loved getting to meet and see all their animals that are really well cared for. We got to hold a macaw, falcon and an owl, we got to feed a porcupine, and see a lynx up close. It was just a great experience and I couldn't recommend it more!
Serena M — Google review
Hawk Creek Wildlife Center is a great family- friendly venue. Follow them on social media to see when their events are scheduled. Come and hear about their efforts to educate and save endangered and declining species.
Penny S — Google review
We booked the Trainer's Apprentice program and it was amazing. Learned a lot about the wild birds and animals in their care, and had some fascinating hands-on interactions with the birds and animals...got to hold an owl, feed a porcupine, have a hawk fly through our arms several times, get up close and personal with a lynx. The educator/trainers are very knowledgable, very patient with our questions, and very kind to the birds and animals. The birds are very interactive, some talk, and all are great ambassadors! Very much worth the money for a once in a lifetime experience! The habitats are very natural, large, and welcomingbfor the birds and animals! Great job to the refuge and its staff!
Sue E — Google review
Beautiful place and beautiful non-releasable animals, all very well cared for. We booked a private tour, and Tanya could not have been more kind and generous with her time and expertise. So glad we went!
Susan H — Google review
Hawk Creek is beautiful and the people behind it are honestly amazing- the work they do is unparalleled and I applaud all of their efforts! We love the big cats here and appreciate the visibility of them in their habitats as well as the assemblies where some are brought out. The porcupines, skunk, possums, and fox are also in similar enclosures and a handful come out for education as well. That said, I do wish the raptors were more visible- it's so hard to truly see them well behind chain link. I love that some are usually used in demos but still would like better viewing when walking around. Additionally, the paths at hawk creek are rough even when simply walking; I've pushed a stroller and wagon here so can say with certainty to be aware, there are so many tripping hazards. I hugely thank them for the events they put on which are so much fun, and I think the addition of a small playground was genius! It had been 2 years since our last visit so this was extra exciting. The gift shop is cozy and has a variety of options which we simply adore- I feel the pricing is fair considering where the money goes. Thank you hawk creek 🦅🦉

Had an awesome time my 3 kids enjoyed it. Animals are well taken care of also. I would’ve given 5 stars BUT! The lady that was speaking during the bird show I was asking her questions and she looked at me and ignored all of my questions. And we went for the spooky Halloween event I wish it was more organized half of us had no idea where all the animals were or anything!( I am not talking about this lady.! She was awesome)

We love hawk creek! Such an awesome place to go if you’re an animal (especially bird) lover. So far we’ve been to spooky safari for Halloween and it was so much fun. We’re planning on going again soon. We had to reschedule same morning and they were so nice and sent us tickets for the next event.

Great secluded park. Enjoyeable trail! Once you enter the wooded area it is very cool. Benches strategically placed in key areas. Be sure to keep an eye in little ones, pets or those with balance issues as there are some high cliff areas. Was worth the drive and walk for us. Note that the parking lot is small and easy to drive by if not paying attention. #Tranquil

First time here. The trail says NO dogs but there were people there with dogs. The trail is very narrow, secluded and overgrown.
Wendy P — Google review
A 2.0 miles easy walk loop. Gorgeous in the fall when we went. If you are in need of a little forest bathing this is the place. Lots of benches on the trail. However watch out for lots of tree roots. If you have children hold on to them,, watch out for cliffs sometimes hard to see until you are at the edge of it. Not dogs allowed im assuming for this reason? Waterfall was dry due to draught. You have to cross a stream to do the entire trail, which had only puddles when we went. So worked out great. Not accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. Tiny parking lot and signage is very tiny too. A great quick getaway!
E R — Google review
Relaxing is an understatement. Creek, woodpeckers and owls drowned out any noise of civilization. Path is at the top of the ravine. Watch your step.
James W — Google review
Beautiful spot just outside the village of EA. There's a small parking lot off of Center street that's a little difficult to find at first. Moderate walk, can get a little wet with having to cross a small creek depending on how much water is running at that time. Plenty of well placed benches around the waterfall built by Roycroft artisans. Note: no dogs allowed here; while the trail is easy there are some steep drop offs around the waterfall.

With well-maintained trails suitable for walking and cycling, the park also provides access to Cazenovia Creek for kayaking.
We walked our dog here. She's a nervous girl but she enjoyed it. We saw only a couple other people the whole time we were there. Lots of foliage here. Some of the trails were in the shade, which was nice on a hot day. We saw a couple baby bunnies.

What a hidden Gem in East Aurora, NY! This park is off the beaten path. It is such a nice place to go for a nature walk! Stroller, dog and handicap friendly. The boardwalk goes throughout the walk. At the back side of the park are mowed trails through the woods that take you to the muddy creek. No access for dogs to swim though.

Colleen N — Google review
This park has very wide well-maintained trails. it is great for casual walking or easy cycling. in late summer there can be a lot of insects and mosquitoes. it is best to stay on the very well groomed trails as the deer trails will have thorn bushes on them. The trails go near the Cazenovia Creek which is kayakable most of the year. However the distance from the parking lot to the kayak launch point is pretty far. It is better to launch your kayak from the Legion on Center Street. the town of Aurora is currently considering removing the logs from the creek.

Performing arts theater
Aurora Players, one of the nation's oldest active community theatre groups, has a rich history dating back to the 1930s when it started as a study group for dramatic readings. The group gained use of the historic Roycroft Pavilion in Hamlin Park in 1941 and converted it into a theater that can accommodate nearly 200 people. Visitors praise Aurora Players for its high-quality productions, likening it to professional theater without the high costs and inconvenience of city venues.
A very intimate theater experience with a cast and crew that clearly take great pride in their work.

I love everything about this place. We go to see a play at least one time a year. Get yourself a treat and go see a show here. I love it!! The cookies at intermission are AWESOME TOO!
Mik B — Google review
First time I was there. The pavilion itself and the play was good, the organizers need to inform people about the parking being minimal. The pavilion is in the middle of a park with poor signage to know you are at the right place. I walked through Extremely dark and we fields to get to it. Let's light the outside of this place so we know where we are going.

Went to see bright star. Second show I have seen. Talent is great at that venue. Can't wait to see next play. Remember it is a pavilion. We were on folding chairs for two hours but what great shows.

Come here for their shows! This is a community theater in name only , but actually just a step away from professional theater. The museum showcases fine books, copperware, leather crafts, and furniture created by the Roycroft Craftsmen. It offers a glimpse into the lifestyle and work ethic of affluent individuals during that time. The museum also highlights the creative talents and ingenuity of its inhabitants.
Amazing museum! So many great pieces in this museum! Great tour guide Becky! This is a must see while visiting East Aurora! 5 stars and more! Call in advance to make sure they have a tour guide to show you around!

Waited to visit during the very limited listed open hours to find the building locked. The signage was clear that “tours” were by reservation only. (We did not require a TOUR and if this was the only way to see the museum it was not clear from the website. If you are open you should be open). This was very disappointing to someone who traveled a great distance and who planned ahead and knows how to read.
Sharon F — Google review
The museum provided a glimpse of where affluent people lived and their work ethic to get there. The house and its contents provided a wonderful time capsule of what living at the time required (kitchen and bathroom in separate buildings from the house). It also showcased the ingenuity of the people being allowed to let their creative talents loose. Lastly, I want the recliner in the front room. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable.

Anne Marie was a true professional throughout the dining room drapery project we worked on together. Communication was clear, coordination was smooth, and the fabric and trim selections were absolutely beautiful. The finished result was elegant, high-quality, and a perfect fit for the space. A pleasure to work with from start to finish.

This place came up when I did a search for women's clothing and jewelry in E. Aurora. I'm not sure why, because I didn't see anything but homegoods -- mostly Mackenzie-Childs, which I do NOT like at all. If you love M-C, you will love it here. The owner was very friendly.

Had an amazing experience at Christmas and everytime I stop in! Janice was beyond amazing! All the ladies were so helpful. This place is magical. I found so many unique gifts here. My favorite no flame candles are here.... I would be in trouble if I had no limit on my spending!!! Check out this local gem! Absolutely stunning.

Italian restaurant
Pasquale's Italian Restaurant in East Aurora offers a cozy atmosphere with warm cherry-wood accents. The restaurant serves up classic Italian dishes, including pastas and specialty pizzas. For those craving Buffalo wings, the nearby Bar-Bill Tavern is known for serving some of the best wings in Western New York. If you're a fan of craft beers, Aurora Brew Works has an impressive selection to choose from.
Had the best experience at Pasquale's! The service was exceptional and the food was excellent (the Buffalo Shrimp is a must try). We didn't enjoy the Mangotini and the server was kind enough to change it for a Bellini, which was better. Would highly recommend this place for a nice Italian experience in East Aurora!

It is a great place to eat for so many years. The bread, soup, and salads are all very good. We had the chicken parm, lasagna, and eggplant with stuffed peppers. The red sauce was a little one note, but we enjoyed our meals and a great bottle of wine!

Dinner on a Saturday night for 4, glad we made reservations as it seemed to fill up fast. Service was friendly, but a bit hands off (Did not get offered any refill of water after a 1st glass). Complimentary bread service was decent and served alongside the soup/salad that was included with most entrees. Others said the house salads were quite impressive. The Rosa sauce was a highlight. Chicken and veal parms were well received, as was the eggplant. Whole group got lukewarm pasta, but luckily we had filled up by that point and just left it for a doggie bag. Tiramisu for dessert impressed the group - worth squeezing it in!

Very disappointing. This was a classic must go place for decades for our family. The server forgot multiple items which is understandable usually but the wait for food was super long and the item missed was for a kid so it made for a long dinner. Most servers comp something when they make a mistake and/or the wait it very long. Both happened, nothing comped. If this were the first time coming, we would not return. If this were the first negative experience, I would chalk it up to a bad day but unfortunately, this is not the first time we have had a bad experience with Pasquales. Service matters. The food is good but it makes a difference if you can rely on servers to be around. At one point I could not find any employees to inquire on the food. No one at the front, bar, or in the restaurant. There were two other tables there aside from ours. No servers to be found.
A. L — Google review
Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff! I was with a party of ten and all our food and drinks came out surprisingly fast despite the large party. I got the Italian Feast with a caesar salad which was pretty good. My favorite was definitely the lasagna and next time I go I will just get the lasagna alone. Unfortunately, the fettuccine alfredo was disappointing with little flavor and I only had one bite. Besides that everything was great and next time I would love to see what desserts they have :)

Of the 3 locations, this place is not so good. We placed our orders and waited a long time for our food. We sat with empty glasses, when our food FINALLY arrived, we asked what happen to our appetizers. The waitress started crying and said it was her fault. The food we did get was nothing to write home about. Over cooked yet cold when served.
Jammer J — Google review
I would not recommend this place to anyone. There were three of us and the restaurant was not busy. Had to ask five times for my unsweet tea, we were just about finished eating our meal before we finally got the server to come come to our table so we could ask for salad dressing which we had asked for two or three times. But what really topped it off was when I witnessed one of the server's hair falling into a customers meal and another server pulled her hair out of the food, wiped her hair off and then they served the food to the customer. It was awful. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Wallenwein's Hotel is a cozy local spot offering comfort food and bar snacks in a relaxed setting with an outdoor patio. Located near the 1825 General Riley House and the Elbert Hubbard Roycroft Museum, this place serves up dishes like seafood platters, fish fry, German salad, macaroni salad with tuna, and crab cakes made with real crab. Visitors praise the great food and atmosphere, particularly enjoying chicken wings, pizza, steak dinners on Saturdays, and French onion soup.
Great food and atmosphere. We usually dine in and have the chicken wings and pizza on a Weekly basis. We have had the steak dinners on Saturday evenings, My wife and I have agreed, that they have one of the best steak dinners around!! I would compare it to a higher end steak house for quality, taste and tenderness. I also have ordered the French onion soup again bravo to the staff. Updated. The service was great. We ordered the medium pizza and wings. The wings were crispy and cooked perfectly. Saturday evening, we had the pizza and wings they where delicious. We can't enough. what a great place and very affordable for you and your family. Thank you Don and Kathleen Pressing.

I called at 815 for a fish fry, the bartender was able to give me the choices still available, to my surprise. When I got there they were out of my potato choice and the owner gladly fulfilled my choice with ease. The dinner included both Mac salad and coleslaw, both abundant and fresh as if just made…At 830pm!! These guys rock, I give my heartfelt props out to Kevin, Ben and their crew…rock on and thank you for filling g my stomach after a long ass day of work😊

Favorite big pie in town!!! The pizza is always cooked well and I love the crispy bottom. I've had a number of interactions with the kitchen/bar manager. He always takes the time to show me the pie. He knows it looks good and loves showing his work off. Thank you for your good work my friends!

Not good 👎 There were approximately 6 customers dining in, the food order was very simple. A large French fry, 2 personal white pizzas, 1 personal pizza light cheese. How long do you think this would take from ordering to serving? 1 hour and 10 minutes! Then the cheese pizza comes with what looked like extra cheese. So I send the pizza back asking for only sauce, no cheese. I get a new personal pizza 30 minutes, the cook this time comes out with the pizza and a cup of liquid sauce explain, they don't use pizza sauce, they use paste for their sauce, I never heard that before. What a mess! Totally disappointed, especially seeing we had to sit there for nearly 2 hours to get food that looked that the picture attached. Never going back to this place.
Roy S — Google review
This is the "stinger" I just spent 20 Dollars on from Leo's. A picture is worth a thousand words the say. This is the food of a place that's completely given up on any form of quality or valuing their customers money. Getting this after working all day is like getting a screw you wrapped in bread. I'd recommend Carbone's if you are looking for a halfway decent stinger, at least they pack it so full of steak and you can barely hold it.
Gabriel C — Google review
They have a nice selection of food. High prices but that’s the market right now. They have online ordering, which is convenient. I have never had them mess up an order, which is very important. Pizza is pretty good! Char BBQ wings from the pit are great! Loaded nachos!
Steve B — Google review
Good food but way too expensive, I got one slice of pizza and they didn’t give me blue cheese, then when I asked, they charged 1.50 for the smallest of blue cheese, which was labeled as “Extra blue cheese”. I also ordered a sub for my girl and every little item I wanted on the sub was extra, even for mushrooms and pickles.
Joe M — Google review
Ordered a take -out pizza today, it was absolutely the worst pizza I’ve ever had, burnt crust, a tad of sauce and an over done bottom! If I could’ve gave it a zero I would’ve. Go anywhere else but here for pizza! Even a frozen pizza is better!

Really neat outdoor rink. Our girls played here for a travel hockey tournament. It was a blast. After we ate at the restaurant in the same lot which is an old train station. Nice quaint little town as well 👍👍❄️🏒

Five Stars! A Winter Wonderland! This outdoor ice rink is absolutely fantastic! The rink itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. More importantly, the whole experience was incredible. The atmosphere was perfect for both kids and parents – a truly magical winter setting. My kids had a blast, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The outdoor firepit was a wonderful touch, providing a cozy place to warm up and relax after skating. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

If you’ve ever wanted to step into a Christmas card, the Winter Classic Ice Rink in East Aurora is where you’ll find the perfect scene come to life. This past weekend, we bundled up, laced up our skates, and stepped onto the rink for open skate with the boys and their cousins. It was a beautiful day—one of those rare December afternoons when the sun peeks through after days of snow, warming your face just enough to make you forget the chill in the air. East Aurora itself, with its charming small-town feel, was already brimming with holiday magic. Driving into town, you couldn’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia—storefronts adorned with twinkling lights, snow-dusted evergreens, and the soft hum of Christmas tunes in the distance. It’s the kind of place that puts you in the holiday spirit before you even arrive at the rink. The Winter Classic Ice Rink sits nestled in the heart of this quaint setting, like something out of a Hallmark movie. Covered, yet open to the brisk December air, the rink is the perfect spot for an afternoon of skating, laughter, and making memories. The kids were giddy with excitement, their brightly colored hats and mittens bouncing as they found their rhythm on the ice. At first, they wobbled and clung to the boards, faces glowing red from the cold, but soon enough, they were flying across the rink like seasoned pros—shrieks of joy echoing under the rafters. Skating with them was pure joy. The cousins joined hands, holding onto one another for balance and giggling each time someone stumbled. I couldn’t help but smile as I watched the boys—hats pulled low, jackets zipped up tight—focused on their every glide and turn. The rink’s surface sparkled beneath us, reflecting the sunshine streaming through the glass panels, a much-needed burst of light after so many gray, snowy days. There’s something magical about skating outdoors in winter. The crisp air fills your lungs, and with every push, you feel free. Looking up, you see snowy pines through the glass surrounding the rink, their branches heavy with fresh powder—a perfect frame to the idyllic scene. The backdrop of East Aurora’s snow-covered streets and cozy shops just adds to the charm. We took breaks along the boards to catch our breath, warm up our hands, and share a few laughs. By the end, the kids were still full of energy—racing one another and pulling us along, determined to make the most of every minute. It was a beautiful afternoon spent with family, a memory we’ll treasure for years to come. The Winter Classic Ice Rink in East Aurora is more than just a place to skate; it’s a reminder of what winter should feel like. The laughter of children, the glow of the afternoon sun, and the simple joy of skating together—it’s the kind of experience that makes you stop, take a deep breath, and appreciate the season for all its wonder. If you’re looking for a way to embrace the holiday spirit, this is it. Grab your skates, your loved ones, and head to East Aurora. I promise, you’ll leave with rosy cheeks, happy hearts, and the kind of Christmas magic you didn’t know you needed.

Took my family here a few weeks ago, was really excited to have fun, that is until one of the rink guards named Jake ruined my experience. Absolutely rude and disrespectful. Made rude remarks about me not having my bracelet on ( it was broke and in my pocket) and then also proceeded to tell me I wasn’t allowed on the ice with my purse after I was already on it for a good amount of time with said purse. There was plenty of women with purses on mind you. After speaking with the manager I was advised there was no rule about purses but only backpacks. Moral of my story is that rink guard seemed to have it out for me and it was really unappreciated and I most likely won’t visit this ice rink for that reason alone. Do better Jake.

The owner, Suzanne, is highly praised for her professionalism and extensive knowledge about instruments, music, playing, recording, and the music business. Customers appreciate the great customer service and personalized attention they receive at Limelite Music.
Great customer service, can't stress that enough. They worked with me every step of the way. Went out of their way to make sure I had the strings I wanted, and when I got my bass back it looked brand new. Can't stress enough how amazing they are

Walking into this store was the best shopping experience I've had in a long time. I forgot how great it was to deal with a small business that is passionate about what they do. I bought a Fender Stratocaster and got a great price. I was also told to play it for a while and bring it back if I wanted a complimentary set-up change. The owner Suzanne went out of her way to make sure I was completely happy with my new guitar. I have bought some accessories since and am really pleased with pricing and knowledgeable advice that I received. Now I need to focus on learning to play better. Suzanne told me that she can help me with that also. Best music store ever!!

Great friendly sales and service. If they don't have what I need they've always been quick to special order for me. I've bought so many great guitars from them and setups and minor repairs were always handled quickly. I recommend them whole heartedly. Check with Sue before you make a purchase elsewhere. You'll be happy that you did.

I drive 30 minutes to shop here because it’s my favorite place to shop for gear. Suzanne the owner is great and if she doesn’t have it she will order it and it is a very fair price. The hours vary because it is a small operation but just call, I’ve never wanted to shop and not been able to. Don’t shop at the Walmart of music shops (guitar center) the folks there are too pushy and not always nice, support local businesses this one is my favorite!
Kari H — Google review
I have purchased quite a few acoustic and electric guitars and amps, effects, strings, cables, supplies and sheet music over the years from Sue and Limelite, and so feel I can speak with some authority. Sue is the consummate professional and very knowledgeable about instruments, music, playing, as well as recording and the music business in general. She will always give you her best deal, and has always provided great advice. Sue and Limelight represent everything that is good about supporting a hometown locally owned small business.

I tried on a shirt at The Dress Shop in East Aurora on Monday, April 29, 2024, loved it and purchased 2 other shirts as well. Left it in the bag until I got home to NC on Friday, May 3, 2024 unpacked the bag & threw it out. First time I wore it I noticed 2 pin holes. I called the dress shop, offered to text them pictures & gal said she needed to check with the owner. I have shopped & purchased many items from this store. Owner said “once the clothing has left the store she is not responsible”. Needless to say I will NEVER support this store again. Extremely dissappointed! Update on my review. The owner from the store did finally call me. She asked me to mail the shirt to her, I did at my expense. She then agreed to reimburse me for the shirt. I was out the postage but I did get the money back for the shirt.

The only thing I found more odd about this place smelling like kitty litter was that I seemed to be the only one who could smell it.
MacLaine R — Google review
Wonderful gallery with spectacular and friendly staff. They have an encyclopedic knowledge of art from WNY. Fantastic frame shop.

Sandwich shop
Subway is a popular casual counter-serve chain known for its customizable sandwiches and salads, offering healthy options for health-conscious diners. Customers appreciate the friendly service and helpful staff at the East Aurora location, making it a convenient stop for those traveling with pets or looking for a quick meal. While some find the menu changes and prices less appealing, others commend the hardworking employees who strive to fulfill their orders to satisfaction.
I live in the city and have to travel to East Aurora for my vet. We usually have our cat with us so stopping at a EA staple is hard as we can't leave him in the car for long. I have to say there is no other subway that has a friendlier staff. They're always polite and extremely helpful. The place is also super clean. 10/10

Placed a I like order on the app for my lunch break, I got a whole turkey sub on herb and cheese bread with provolone cheese and lettuce and chipotle when I opened it after I got back to my jobs parking lot it was bread and turkey with chipotle. That’s it no cheese no lettuce nothing.. then I got baked potato chip and got plane lays classic. I’m sure they were busy but messing up that much really ruined my lunch.
Kayla C — Google review
Nice clean place . Staff is OK as they have no smile of their faces. Look like they are forced to work there. Better just take it a sit aside and eat or take out.
Sajjad M — Google review
I ordered a foot long monster sub. The girls were too busy talking to even bother to say hello. She didn’t say a word through the whole process. The sub was horrible. The steak was cold. She squeezed way too much sauce on it. She folded it in a manner that all the sauce never made it into the sub but all over the outside, making a sloppy mess. Didn’t ask if I wanted anything else. Just a disappointing experience.

Mine and my husband’s subs were prepared horribly. The subs were messy and the toppings were not fresh. The girl that made our subs was extremely rude and looked miserable. She gave me attitude when I asked for fresh lettuce and slammed down the lettuce container and then threw the lid in an aggressive manor. Horrible customer service. The guy that prepared our bread was friendly, but that girl needs to be fired (she was wearing a tie dyed t shirt and had brown hair put up in a bun). Never coming back to this subway ever again.

very nice place to stop in for a sub. the young lady behind the counter was very friendly and helped us out even though we didn't really know what we wanted... She was very patient with us. we love coming to this little town everyone is so friendly. we will definitely be back. oh, and we came to see the grinch sleigh behind vidlers. It was the original one from the movie. We ended up going to the Aurora theater to see the new Willy wonka movie. Which, by the way, was really good. And that theater is awesome. What a gem, you must stop in and see it. all in all, it was a great day to spend with my wife. I do love her.

Arrived to get food before work store was supposed to be open for an hour prior to me getting there was not greeted when I walked in stood there for seven minutes before she finally waited on me to then tell me she doesn’t even have any of the rolls ready yet so I cannot get anything besides a salad. Not sure why she said that when I walked in instead of making me stand there for nothing.

Cool little diner old fashioned feel. I love places like this. Food was pretty good I like the toast especially. Seems like it was homemade or cut to order. I miss places like this. Add a 3 egg omelette stuffed with sausage and covered in cheddar cheese. With a side of thick cut wheat toast

I went with my kid this week. I devoured the corn beef hash with sunny side up eggs, potatoes and buttered toast. My kid loved his chocolate chip pancakes and we both loved the hot chocolate there. We are not locals, but the next morning we came back for more pancakes. This time they only had white chocolate chip and they were Devine. I love 3 hours away, but when back in east Aurora, I will come for seconds

Today, I visited The Deli with my child and it was evident from the photographs that we are ardent supporters. The proprietors displayed a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and serving top-notch cuisine. They even went so far as to concoct a unique sandwich for me, which proved to be delectable. The chicken cutlet boasted an impeccably crisp texture and was seasoned flawlessly.
Just had a Ricky Ricardo on my first visit to The Deli. Now I have to come back 15 more times to try the rest of the sandwiches. Very friendly and happy service. Excellent. (Edit. I've been here 4 times now. Every sandwich has been excellent. I just finished a great Reuben. But the Lucy is out of this world. And my daughter gave the meatball sandwich a 10 out of 10.) I'm back for the 6th time and I'm having the Corduroy with chicken cordon bleu. Stay tuned. OMG, awesome.

I was working in the area from out of state and love trying local spots. This place did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I told them what I usually like, and they quickly recommended some great options. The sub I got was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. 10/10! I’ll definitely be stopping by again whenever I’m back in the area. Highly recommend!

Pricey. Delicious but $20+ for a sandwich and 2 Pepsi is pricey. It is a beautiful place. Decorative, bright and friendly. Although we got the wheelchair in the door, it is tight. Not very ADA friendly.
Paul F — Google review
Never been here before, ordered off of doordash and they forgot to give the washer one sandwich. When we received our order and realized it was missing a sandwich, we called right away to see what could be done. They stated they would re deliver the lone sandwich to us. After an hour waiting, we called again, and had we not called we would've been waiting hours without knowing they advised us they would not be adhering to their word and then just refunded us. Will never order again.
