Chicken wings restaurant
Restaurant
Anchor Bar is a renowned establishment in Buffalo, known as the birthplace of the Buffalo chicken wing. In addition to this iconic dish, the bar also offers Italian cuisine, draft beers, and live jazz. Visitors to Buffalo are encouraged to indulge in other local delicacies such as Beef on Weck, sponge candy from Fowler's Chocolates or Watson's Chocolates, chicken finger subs from Jim's SteakOut, and Buffalo-style pizza.
Let's start with the service from Ann, amazing! She was prompt to take our orders and bring out the food (which came out quickly). Then she had a great personality with a whitty charm. You just don't get that anymore so I had to make sure she was recognized!!! The wings were definitely worth the stop. They were crisp, hot, and just the right size!! Then the flavor was perfect mix of hot and flavor. We tried the sweet potato waffle fries and those even met expectations, not bad for a northern restaurant. So the family of 5 left full, happy and wanting more next time.

We waited at the hostel stand for roughly 10 minutes with many other people and no host in sight. The servers were working their buttons off and one of them ran around seating people. Our server was acceptable. He didn't seem super interested in his job but it got done adequately and the food was great as always.
Stephanie F — Google review
This place was really cool. Definitely a tourist type spot. The bourben bbq were REALLY good. So was the pep and cheese pizza. One of those places that im glad I went but I am ok if I never return. And that's ok
Joe R — Google review
We can say we had the original. That's about it though. The wings came out cold. We wanted to try the original and another flavor. We chose Spicy Garlic Parm. They were just buffalo wings with a seasoning spread on top. Not tossed at all. The fried pickles were excellent though. Service was not stellar either. It might be because I was wearing my NE Patriots sweatshirt!
William W — Google review
Seated with a smile by Hector - Alyssa and Kaylene were amazing servers. We were in town for a Bills game and had to have the Original Chicken Wings. We had the original sauce and the spicy BBQ as well as the pizza rolls! Yummy, yummy! Don't be persuaded into trying all the rest before you have had the best!
Kristina B — Google review
Honestly, I was disappointed with the wings here considering its supposed to be the birthplace of OG buffalo wings. The wings overall were very ok. The sauce was watery and bland, and though the wings themselves had a good size, it just felt like they weren't made with alot of love. Ironically I enjoyed the spicy margarita I order way more than the wings, which was the point of my stop here. It feels more like a tourist trap.
Catherine S — Google review
Atmosphere was killer, full of history here. Wings were among the worst we had in buffalo, dry. Our order of cheese sticks was delivered still frozen in the middle, our other appetizer ordered was delivered in the form of something we didnt order. Worth a stop cause of who they are but don't fill up here, save your appetite for bar bill or 911 tavern.
William G — Google review
The famous wings were very ordinary. The appetizer plate seemed to be frozen food . The marina sauce for the appetizers tasted like jarred sauce. The bar tender was very cool. The atmosphere was great!

Shea's Buffalo Theatre, a stunning baroque-style theater built in 1926, is a historical gem and one of only four Tiffany-designed theaters still standing. Hosting a variety of entertainment including Broadway shows, concerts, and comedy acts, the theater also offers tours for those interested in its rich history. Over the years, it has welcomed legendary performers like Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby.
What a BEAUTIFUL space! Shea's Buffalo Theater was a spot I stumbled upon during my research when I was planning a quick trip to the area! After seeing one photo of the space, I knew I needed to attend a show! We saw the Back to the Future Musical and it was truly a highlight of our trip! The musical was phenomenal and the beauty of the space made the experience all the more worth it!
Carly W — Google review
My wife and I saw "Beauty & The Beast" on a Saturday matinee. The show was beyond spectacular. Shea's offers comfortable seats with great views from all vantage points. The theatre has old style charm with exquisite decorations. My family has seen great productions of "Damn Yankees", "Man of La Mancha", "West Side Story", "Phantom of the Opera", "Sunset Boulevard", "Titantic The Musical", and "The Producers". Shea's is a very well maintained theatre.

Gorgeous theatre I've ever been to so far, seats were comfortable and staff are friendly. We saw The Outsiders tour which was extraordinary!

Beautiful older downtown Buffalo theater. Great location and great venue for events. They have a bar with a nice selection of drinks as well. Plenty of parking, paid lots or street parking is free after 5pm..

Beautiful historic theater. Not a bad seat in the house. Lovely experience and nice, helpful staff.
Cassandra B — Google review
The building is absolutely beautiful! Make sure you leave time to find parking before your event.
Jeanette B — Google review
Shea's Buffalo Theatre is a wonderful place to go for a live theater production or catch a performance of one type or the other. The acoustics are good so hearing the music or dialogue is usually not a problem. The stage is large so the sets that developed for the shows can be very creative. Many national tours of Broadway shows start at shows where the facilities are available to develop the touring sets and production. One caveat, if you are 6'2" and taller with long legs, the balcony seating and the last 6 - 8 rows of the main floor may be tight on your legs. I'm 6'2" and speak from personal experience. Most of the floor seating does have plenty of room so keep that in mind when choosing your seat.

This place is purely just vibes. Me and my friend sat there for a long time and had drinks, good conversations, and amazing pictures. I loved how this place felt so peaceful, and seeing the sunset with drinks in my hands was the perfect way to end the day.

Canalside in Buffalo is a wonderful spot to spend an afternoon or evening. The area is beautifully developed with a scenic waterfront that’s perfect for a relaxing walk. The views of the river and boats create a peaceful vibe, especially around sunset. The Buffalo & Erie County Naval and Military Park is a highlight, it’s fascinating to explore the historic ships and exhibits. Whether you’re just strolling, grabbing a bite, or enjoying some quiet time by the water, Canalside is a must-visit when in Buffalo.

Title: A Perfect Weekend Getaway from Canada! 🇨🇦➡️🇺🇸 Buffalo was the perfect road trip escape from Ontario! The drive was smooth and crossing the border was quick with friendly officers. We loved the mix of history, local eats (shoutout to the original Halal Food Places!), and great shopping deals at Walden Galleria. Loved the Visit to Canal side, me being the love for Air-force, knowing the history of World War ll was a great experience. People were warm and welcoming, and parking was easy downtown. A peaceful yet fun getaway—Buffalo surprised us in all the best ways. Definitely planning to return soon!

Great afternoon trip down to the waterfront. Take a history boat tour. Visit the naval museum and gift shop. Grab a hot dog and icr cream cone or a Tim Horton coffee and stroll the boardwalk. Hop on the carousel and take a step back into childhood. Make sure you stop by the "waterway of change" exhibit. Its free and very informative.

We were planning a half day for Buffalo before our flight and this was our favorite stop. It’s actually very nice here. As we were driving around we weren’t sure what to expect. But this area is very clean! It has the BUF sign for pictures and has military ships and beautiful views. Definitely worth a stop while in Buffalo!

As we visited to Canalside is a testament to Buffalo's resurgence, blending rich history with modern attractions. Whether you're interested in outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, or simply enjoying the waterfront, Canalside offers something for everyone. Its ongoing revitalization and diverse programming make it a must-visit destination in Western New York.

Short visit but met some nice people. Everything was clean. Giant sandbox for kids. Floating tiki bar, kayaks for adults and the war memorial as well as some more Erie Canal history. Official end of the Erie Canal. I made it!
Brent N — Google review
Attended the Asian Culture Festival and loved it. Also took a boat tour. Canalside is great except for two things. 1. Not enough information. Ever see those sign poles with signage arrows pointing in different directions? Canalside needs several pf those poles placed strategically pointing in the direction of a. Restrooms, b. Boat Tours c. Picnic areas, d. Information resources. Secondly, the parking situation is abysmal. Either have signs designating where parking is available or list it on the website. Why? I'm 70. I shouldn't have to search blocks and blocks for a parking space and then have to walk 8 blocks on a hot day to get to my destination. Nor should I have to pay $25 to park in the ramp. That's crazy.

Sahlen Field, affectionately known by various names like Pilot Field and Coca-Cola Field, is a must-visit destination for sports lovers in Buffalo. Often referred to as 'The Jewel of Downtown Buffalo,' this iconic ballpark honors Senator James Griffin, who played a pivotal role in its creation.
Always fun experience, easy in and out, parking. Some stairs with solid railings necessary depending on seat, but accessible seating available if required. pricey but great food whether a Sahlens hot dog, LaNova pizza or soft serve ice cream.. Credit card only for everything including ramp. Some nearby lots take cash.

Pretty good park with a retro feel and cool atmosphere. The food is good too. Staff is great except for one particular guy. I was waiting almost 45 minutes for a simple order while this guy, who was the manager of the food stand, was just brutally screaming at and harassing a new worker while I was just standing there! He should be fired from his job. Other than that, parking is pretty difficult but manageable. Pretty good ballpark.
Lucas ル — Google review
Definitely a bit on the retro side, but you can expect that from a minor league game. Overall, it was a good ballpark with cheap tickets. Food wasn’t bad either! If you stay at the Wyndham, they offer a free shuttle to and from the game!
Antonio H — Google review
It was nice being back at Pilot Field (Sahlen Field). Arrived at 5:45pm for a 6:35pm first pitch. Parked a few blocks away. Walked by two bars that unfortunately were boarded up and not much going on outside the stadium. Once inside things perked up. Lots of energy and friendly staff. Walked around the stadium enjoying the sights and sounds. The playing field was in great condition but the concourse level felt old and dated. The drinking fountain was rusty and not draining. $9.50 for a Budweiser 20oz. The ballgame was fun, lots of promotions and kids chasing foul balls. Fun atmosphere but disappointed in the area around the stadium.
Sean G — Google review
Great field. Fun atmosphere. Worst service in baseball though. How can it possibly be that I wait in line for 40 min for a HOT DOG and a beer. It's like, they don't want to sell things. While I waited in line, I sold all my shares/stock, lol. And it's named after a HOT DOG company? I'd be pretty embarrassed. I'd like to come here and watch baseball, not stand in line.

Well I go here every summer! Yesterday I went for the Harry Potter game. 2 problems. 1- should have had the one team grifindor and the other team a different house both teams were the same house. 2- should’ve separated the tickets house wise I was looking for Harry Potter merch n I couldn’t find any. The price of tickets were my daughter and I sat were AMAZING. I will forever get them seats!!! 112 row J love love love!

Not really into baseball, but went to a game and enjoyed it! Bisons we're playing a team, can't remember the name, it was great! Overall, good food and drinks. Sat by the first base side, didn't get too many balls hit over to where I was, but it's whatever. Was shown on the jumbotrom a few times.
Emmett H — Google review
Had a great time at Sahlen Field..! The stadium has a nostalgic, retro charm and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing night out. Tickets are affordable, and the food fare hits the spot (though the hot dogs could be better, especially for a stadium named after one..!). Staff were friendly and it was easy to get in and out of the venue. Definitely recommend for families, baseball fans, or anyone looking for a fun evening in Buffalo.

Natural history museum
The Buffalo Museum of Science is a fascinating destination that offers a blend of historical charm and modern interactive exhibits. Housed in a 1929 building, the museum boasts an impressive collection of over 700,000 specimens focusing on the region's natural history. Visitors can explore eight permanent exhibit spaces and rotating displays covering topics such as weather, climate, the solar system, insects, mummies, and dinosaurs. The museum also hosts special events including science celebrations and workshops for both children and adults.
During our Easter vacation trip from Toronto to Buffalo, we decided to spend a day at the Buffalo Museum of Science—and we’re so glad we did! It turned out to be one of the highlights of our family getaway. The museum offers the perfect balance of education and fun, especially for families with young children. From the moment we entered, our kids were excited and engaged. There are interactive exhibits, hands-on experiments, and themed sections covering everything from space and dinosaurs to health, energy, and insects. One of our favorites was the Explorations gallery—a play-and-learn space designed especially for young children, filled with creative stations to explore science through touch, sound, and play. The Bug Works and Rethink Extinct (dinosaur exhibit) were also huge hits! The museum does a fantastic job of making science approachable and exciting. It’s not just displays—you can touch, build, explore, and interact. Adults will appreciate the historical depth of the museum too. The staff was friendly, and everything was clean, safe, and easy to navigate. It was the perfect way to spend a few hours together as a family—learning, laughing, and discovering. If you're traveling with kids or even as curious adults, the Buffalo Museum of Science is absolutely worth a visit.

Great museum in old building that is truly amazing. Bug zone, foid zone, earthquakes and wind, dinosaurs. Plus an observatory with a telescope on the roof. A snack area and Great gift shop. Perfect way to spend an afternoon

Great place to take your kid to to explore nature and do some cool experiments. Will definitely plan another trip here with my kids. There is a lot to see and virtually no time to see them all. Great place. Recommend.

This museum is awesome with many activities to do and a lot of information to learn! The employees were very kind and helpful with information and directions. This is a good place for adults and kids to have fun and learn something new. There are four floors full of learning activities and an observation deck up to to look over the city. There are elevators or stairs depending on which you prefer to take to get to the next level and there is food and drinks right before going into the first exhibits
Mariah — Google review
We visited the Buffalo Museum of Science during our vacation in August. There are 4 floors in the museum and there are stairs or elevators to each floor. Inside the museum there are many exhibits to look at and ones to participate in. We had fun with all the interactive exhibits and programs ( some were not working) and learning about Science related to electricity, weather, animals etc. The staff were polite and professional during our visit. There is a fee ( under $20) for the admission.
Karen J — Google review
Fun museum for my 1 and 4 year old. My very adventurous 1 year old was able to roam and around and play without me worrying she would break something. My 4 year old loved the animals and the special science demonstration. I felt like there were a few exhibits that either weren't working or were very worn. Definitely a fun little adventure for our family though.
Hannah S — Google review
This was an alright museum with some interesting things like Dinosaurs and even a Fiji Mermaid that was shown at the 1901 Pan-American Exposition, as well as some neat interactive exhibits, but it’s mostly just stuff for kids and the museum is kinda small.

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is a well-loved barbecue chain that offers Southern-style meats and draft brews in a retro setting, often featuring live music. Established in Rochester, it has garnered a devoted following and expanded to Buffalo's Theater District since 2014. The menu boasts homemade items such as bleu cheese dressing and an array of hot or cold sides like fresh cut fries, mac n cheese, chili, Cajun corn, and BBQ fried rice.
Amazing food!! If you like BBQ and Texas type goodness, this is the place for you!! Staff is extra special. So nice!! One lady (please forgive the spell) Tineka? She greeted us at the door, but I believe she is a server!! Need more people like her in this world today. Definitely would go back and recommend. Pricing was good. Cocktails were amazing, and they don't cheap out. If I had to rate anything less than five stars, the deviled eggs on the salty side. But that is me just being picky!!

We recently had what will probably be our last Buffalo Dinosaur BBQ experience in Buffalo before they move the location. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and attentive. The food was great and we sampled a variety of sides as a family. I look forward to a future visit to the new location in a few months. Thanks all for 11 fun years filled with solid BBQ!

Excellent service! The young man who served us was very helpful and friendly, he made us feel very comfortable explaining things to us. The food is delicious, we tried a family plate of meat, rice and mashed potatoes, everything was delicious, really recommended. The wings are very tasty *clean bathrooms

The BBQ re I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dinosaur Bar- Que, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed and casual meal. The star of the show was undoubtedly the food. The brisket was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful with just the right amount of smoky goodness. The barbecue sauce complemented the meat beautifully, adding a sweet and tangy kick. The sides were equally impressive, with the roasted corn offering a delightful burst of sweetness and the cornbread delivering a perfect balance of crumbly texture and buttery flavor. The chicken wings were another highlight, with a rich, smoky flavor and a perfectly charred exterior. The accompanying fries were crispy and well-seasoned, providing a great contrast to the tender wings. The creamy dipping sauce added a nice touch, making every bite more enjoyable. Overall, Dinosaur Bar- Que is a must-visit for any BBQ lover. The attention to detail in each dish, combined with the welcoming atmosphere, makes it a dining experience worth repeating. I can’t wait to return and try more from their delicious menu!

Good food in downtown Buffalo, atmosphere was pretty good / interesting decorations. They could clean the place a bit better. We had ribs, brisket and sausages. It was good quality, but nowhere near Texas barbecue places. The draft beer was incredible good quality. All in all solid choice.

After getting more than few recommendations about this place, we decided to try this place. The ambiance is rustic and warm. Great staff. Thomas was very helpful and friendly, We ordered Devils Duel spicy wings, which were delicious and had a good kick the only negative I could say is that some of the wings were burnt on the surface. The brisket sandwich was flavourful and aromatic and tender but it was very salty. Over all it was a good experience.

Fried Green Tomatoes, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Potato Salad and Mac & Cheese with some Corn Bread. Food was good but honestly the service was better! I would say the food was mid, mediocre to good. Steak house
Buffalo Chophouse is a top-notch steakhouse in western New York, known for its elegant and quirky decor featuring velvet banquettes and dog paintings. The two-level wood-paneled dining room exudes a warm ambiance with red-satin banquettes and soft lighting, creating a lively atmosphere filled with conversation and classic tunes. The menu boasts the best steaks in the region, including succulent rib eye, filet mignon, prime rib, and chateaubriand.
The Buffalo Chop House is one of the premier restaurants in Buffalo. The name has grown to be synonymous with impeccable service, high quality food and beverages. This all comes at a premium price, but it's definitely worth it, especially for a special night out. The bar area and atmosphere lends to being cozy and well defined. Menu options are a la carte featuring quality steaks and seafood. There is a nice selection of desserts as well. I went with the 12 oz fillet which was cooked to perfection. Depending on your pallet, you might want the rub applied lightly (noted so you know it's an option). Others had the Kansas City steak, which is dry aged and was pretty delicious as well. The seafood platter featured sizable shrimp and crab legs. Some of the sides were average such as the fries and broccoli, but the mac and cheese, French onion soup and bacon were out of this world! The cheesecake was a little dry for my liking. Overall a great experience and will certainly be back. Give him a try if you haven't already, it won't disappoint.

We had an incredible experience at Buffalo Chophouse. The food was phenomenal, from the perfectly cooked steak (slightly on the salty side) and buttery lobster tail to the flavorful sides like mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and broccolini. Every dish was spot on. But the real standout of the night was Jack, our bartender. He was truly top tier, tanticipating our every need, showing genuine patience, and offering some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. He was always nearby without hovering and made the whole evening feel effortless and special. Huge shoutout to him for elevating our night. Highly recommend!

Amazing!!! We have gone to many steak houses around the country. The strip steak and filet mignon were outstanding! We also ordered meatballs and shrimp tempura, the mash and broccolini. The chocolate cake was to die for. What sealed the deal was the waitress, she was so attentive and professional. Our new fav spot

Best friend and I went for my birthday. Our server was extremely polite and professional. We started with the calamari appetizer which was large and perfect for the price. Friend got an old fashioned which was the perfect amount of smokey to sweetness. My Moscow mule could have been a little stronger but was great. For our entrees my friend got a 8oz fillet medium rare, and I got 32oz bone in Ribeye medium rare. Both were cooked to perfection and the seasoning crust was top notch. As our side we got the mac and cheese which was phenomenal with the melted crust ontop and once you got down further the cheesey deliciousness paired super well with some of the fatty steak pieces. Would definitely be a place I'd come bsck to once a year or so.

From start to finish, our experience at Buffalo Chophouse was absolutely exceptional. The service was top-notch — attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed without ever feeling rushed. Every detail, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful table checks, made the evening feel special. But the real star of the night was the Twin Grilled Center Cut Lamb Chops. Perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, they were truly unforgettable. The mint chimichurri added a bright, fresh twist that elevated the entire dish, while the rosemary lamb glace brought a rich, savory depth that tied everything together beautifully. It’s one of those plates you’ll find yourself thinking about long after the meal is over. If you’re looking for a place that combines outstanding service, impeccable execution, and memorable flavors, Buffalo Chophouse is it. Highly recommended!

First of all let's give 5 stars to Mitchell. This young man must have a PHD in Customer Service. I was a customer on 11/15. I was celebrating my birthday with my Scorpio twin. We were joined by 2 of our other female friends. The service was flawless: from remembering everyone's name at my table plus the surrounding tables, always checking in never having to look for him.He personalized the entire dining experience. Always smiling and laughing along with us. He maintained his level of professionalism, while still being friendly. Ladies and gentlemen the MAESTRO of Customer Service was definitely in the building. Let's not forget Kyle thank you for ALWAYS making sure my glasses were always full. I truly appreciate your politeness. Thank you. Robin

This place was so nice. We went here for my girlfriends birthday, that have a deal where they comp an entree for birthday celebrants under 50 bucks, so obviously that’s what we did. The bar is really nice, the bartenders are all really cool, and their drinks were really good. Our dinner was amazing, and I cannot speak highly enough about our server Eli and his helper Janelle. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heart beat. Get the Tom Collins.

Coffee shop
Tim Hortons is a Canadian chain known for its premium-blend coffee and light fare, including pastries and breakfast sandwiches. It has become an integral part of the Buffalo culture, offering a variety of items such as bagels, muffins, iced cappuccinos, Timbits (donut holes), donuts, soups, and sandwiches. The restaurant's unique decor includes hockey-themed elements.
Totally enjoyed this location. It is next to where the Buffalo Sabres play. It is an homage to Tim Horton #2. We happened to be staying at the Marriott Lecom Harborcenter. It is part of the street entrance not the lobby. There is some history and museum type displays in there, as well as Buffalo history. Ended up having hot awesome coffee and a wide variety of breakfast each day. They have stuff like doughnuts, bagels, but also a lot of protein such as a wide variety of egg, bacon, sausage, & Turkey sausage breakfast sandwiches on bagels, biscuits, wraps…thoroughly enjoyed their options. It is 10x better than your typical coffee shop on food and drinks. Recommend. For example a couple of hot coffee drinks and some complex yummy breakfast for 2 under $15 easy. Try that at Starbucks with yuck food for under $25. Thank goodness they just opened one up under 1 mile away from my neighborhood in north Atlanta in Forsyth County on Peachtree Parkway just north of Johns Creek. 😲☺️❤️ I like my double expressos and crazy cappuccinos too. This coffee is so good, I just want it by itself…the gal likes 2 creams 2 sugars.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I work at a coffee shop in my home town. Our number 1 rule is to not shut down the espresso machine until the exact time we close. I attempted to order an espresso drink 1 hour before they closed and the said the espresso machine was done for the day. The service was incredibly rude. Messy tables, horrible bathroom. Got a hot brewed coffee that was burnt. The refresher was pretty good, but only because they didn’t have the first one I tried to order. The man in front of us tried to order a food item, 1 hour before close, and was rejected. Avoid this location if possible.

Good service, food was consistent quality for a TH’s. Purchased the 2x breakfast sandwich promo with some TimBits, all came out fine. Had to bus our own table it was dirty but other than that the place was good. Would come back, thank you!

Under staffed so it took a long time to get the food. Employees are not super friendly and they messed up and order.

Did mobile order 3 times, 1st time walked in, waited by mobile pickup, nobody asked me anything, no customers were at registers, workers were just fixing coffee machine & walking around. Had to stop girl & tell her I’m here for a mobile pickup, She looked a bag on counter & said here, it’s right here with an attitude, the bag was so small , I knew that wasn’t my complete order. Girl looked at receipt and seen the whole order wasn’t there, then got rest of items & apologized. 2nd time , didn’t bother to ask, just seen my name on receipt, but was missing a coffee, that took a few minutes just to get there attention, with attitude got my coffee. 3rd time , 1/2 order was only there again, after waiting a few minutes, the girl making the sandwiches asked if my name was Christopher & gave me the order. Got back to hotel it was wrong order. This was my first times after using a Tim Hortons , Not sure if it was just this location like this

Food and employees are generally great, minus the short staffing during busy events. The windows inside have had the same smudges all over them for weeks if not months and there is dust everywhere. Manager must not care about keeping a clean environment and it shows

I want to say, it's Tuesday September 23rd. 1130am. Who ever was here making sandwiches was absolutely amazing!!!! So friendly and polite! And, as I was about to thank and compliment him on his bacon egg and cheese biscuits he made for me, another customer came behind me and complimented him for his food too! This guy, whoever it is, needs a raise!

Only issue at this location is service when you need the code to use the bathroom! They are slow and use the minimum employees even on a busy weekend when a Line almost out the door! But all locations have been slipping on stocking food and drink options up, so unfortunately Dunkin Donuts has more and more of my whole families business now!

Français-inspired diner serving classic breakfast items with a modern twist, plus weekend brunch. Mon Ami Restaurant is a charming French-inspired diner found in a strip mall that offers delicious breakfast options and some American favorites, as well as strong coffee and tea. The french toast was fluffy and had great flavor, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and they had different types of momosas to choose from.
This hidden gem, is the place to be for breakfast/lunch. Especially, if you work downtown. Parking is always a difficult thing whenever you are downtown. But if you didn't take the train, you can find (paid)parking on some of the side streets. Mon Ami is a very spacious, well lit restaurant, with a wonderful view of the neighborhood. There is plenty of table seating as well as bar stool seating at the windows. Today's visit was for the breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, meat). The croissant was very soft and flaky, and had a nice amount of egg and bacon. I would've enjoyed it a little bit more, if there was more cheese to it. The side of potatoes (spices, chop onions) was very good. They offer gourmet cookies and other pastries. All the prices are on par with other higher end restaurants. The quality of the food here is well worth it. The employees are great especially Claudia.

Their brunch menu is really good, I got a croque madame and I loved it. The drinks were great too, my favorite was a fall special mimosa with apple cider and caramel. Not giving 5 stars because service was quite slow, even though the restaurant wasn't full. We would finish our drink and wait a long time for our server to come back.
Raul L — Google review
Ordered a Chi Pear Scone and a caramel macchiato when they first first opened. Both were served reasonably quick. The scone was clearly fresh baked, it was very flaky but the chi glaze on top really held it together. The space is huge, gorgeous wood floors and reclaimed wood table tops. Plenty of seating around the location. Staff was friendly and helpful, presentation of already prepared food was excellent.
Danielle B — Google review
Excellent experience at Mon Ami; I would recommend making a reservation, but the host was kind enough to squeeze us in even though they were fully booked. The food was excellent, and everything tasted fresh. The servers were lovely and attentive to everyone. They have a full coffee bar with a professional barista; the coffee tasted better than Starbucks!!!! I can’t wait to go back next weekend!!

The french toast was fluffly and had a ton of flavor.. the eggs were cooked to perfection ! They had diffrent type of momosas and the coffee was strong so thats a major plus. They have big windows which open up the space alot more, and the wood makes it feel comfortable. I highly reccomend this place, not to mention staff was very respectful & professional. Will definitely come back here !

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch places in downtown Buffalo. The croissants are wonderful, which is probably why 50% of their menu items include one. Their hot drinks could be served a little hotter - got to drink your coffee as soon as you get it!! Parisian eggs Benedict and banana bread pancakes shown in the pics. We always have a lovely time.
Daisy K — Google review
I love coming here for brunch! The host Miguel was amazing. Along with greeting and seating people, he was also going around and helping everyone out. He even cleared a few tables to sit some other guests! My waitress today, Belle, was amazing! She knew what she was doing and was a pleasure to have a little chit chat with. And the food is delicious 🤤. Will continue to tell my friends and coworkers about Mon Ami

Taste not bad, but I prefer other places better from the price and food taste perspective. This may because they provide limited menus these days. I update the menus so please take a look. Good place for a light meal.

KeyBank Center is a bustling waterfront arena in Buffalo, serving as the home ice for the Buffalo Sabres and hosting major concerts and sporting events. In addition to being the NHL's Sabres' home base, it also hosts games for the National Lacrosse League's Buffalo Bandits and occasionally features matches for the Sabres' AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans. The venue has seen performances by renowned artists like Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, and The Eagles.
My first time visiting KeyBank Center for a hockey game left me impressed. Entry was quick, the arena is modern, concession sales are ample and lines are quick, lines in the washrooms are speedy as well. If you're Canadian be prepared for sticker shock on beer prices, two tall boys came out to about $55 after exchange... We had a lot of fun, the atmosphere was fantastic and I'll definitely return.

A very modern arena with a lot of concession, booths and bathrooms. The seats were very comfortable and there was lots of staff to help out. However, the alcohol prices were outrageous, especially for liquor.
Shad L — Google review
So much history in this classic arena! I’ve never had any issues attending events here, and the views from every seat are excellent. Like most arenas, the food and beer are overpriced and pretty average, but that’s standard for venues like this. That said, the games themselves are fantastic—I’ve seen some truly memorable ones here. The Sabres have really stepped up their production value over the years, making the experience even better. Highly recommend checking out a hockey or lacrosse game here if you get the chance. A great atmosphere and a true Buffalo staple!

Amazing Venue. Let's Go Sabers! Love the French Connection Statue (National Hockey League) outside. Nice tribute to the line. Easy to move around and find your way. Well marked/signed throughout the arena. Clean washrooms. Clean secure facility. Friendly staff. Great sound for concerts. Great for many sporting events. No Free WiFi. Concession is pretty expensive.

In December 2021 My Dad and I took our First Hockey Trip since Covid. We Resumed our Mission of seeing the Rangers play in every Arena. Buffalo had an amazing Concourse and we sat 3rd Row behind the Sabres Goal! During Warm-ups I sat behind the Rangers Goal and a Puck hit my Foot. I immediately grabbed it and there was a little kid sitting next to me. So I decided to give up my Free Souvenir to the kid so he could remember his First Rangers Road Game with his Dad. The Kid was so excited he told his Dad and Thanked Me. His Dad told me I'll be blessed with great gifts! After the Dad said that I caught a second Puck and kept it! This Arena holds a special place in my Heart where I felt like my Life was going back to normal again. The Trip was complete with receiving an amazing gift from Warm Ups!

Had an awesome time at the Canada-USA Rivalry Series, however you’ve got one incredibly horrific parking attendant on your hands who is a total embarrassment to your venue. Whoever was working the northernmost parking entrance/payment on Illinois Ave leading up to the November 8 event needs a serious reprimand. Would have been a 5 star review had this parking attendant hadn’t been so vile.

It’s an amazing venue for sports games and concerts alike. Anyone that comes to Buffalo, if they have a chance to, should visit the Key Bank Center. The parking lots are very affordable and easy to get out of at the end of the night.

The Buffalo Naval Park is a must-visit for those passionate about naval history and military enthusiasts. It houses three decommissioned naval vessels, along with tanks, jets, and historical exhibits. The park offers a unique glimpse into America's rich naval heritage and allows visitors to explore the interiors of ships and submarines, providing an immersive experience into the daily lives of soldiers.
Really nice boardwalk area with a lot of activities and food on the canalside. And the naval park itself has a good amount of history available with a small museum above the gift shop. We didn't go on the ship itself but they had that option available but still very interesting for the walk around and great scenery.
Captain J — Google review
It was exhausting visiting these vessels on a 90+ degree day in Buffalo, but well worth it. Fortunately, they allow you to leave and come back at your leisure so we were able to tour the first ship, leave to get much needed refreshments, then return to finish the self guided tour. There is so much to see that it took about three hours and we still ended up skipping by some exhibits. Shorts and pants are best with comfortable footware to navigate all the narrow, steep stairs, small passageways and openings. Kudos to everyone who takes care of this park and these vessels to allow us to experience this part of history in such a beautiful setting.

Super cool opportunity to tour on board a naval ship and submarine. Like a walk back in time. Fantastic historical viewing. The volunteers working have impressive knowledge. The submarine is def tight and small in some sections while walking through. Educational and interesting!

We visited the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park during our trip to the U.S., and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As visitors from India, we were amazed to step aboard real American Navy ships and learn about their rich naval history. Walking through the USS Little Rock, USS The Sullivans, and the USS Croaker submarine felt like stepping back in time—it gave us such respect for the brave men and women who served. The volunteers and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They patiently explained everything to us and shared many interesting stories about the ships and their missions. Their passion and knowledge made our visit even more special. The museum inside is very well organized, with displays that highlight different aspects of military life. Even though we come from another country, we could deeply relate to the spirit of service and sacrifice that the park honors. The location by the Buffalo waterfront is beautiful—perfect for a stroll and photos after the tour. We highly recommend this place to fellow travelers, especially families from India or abroad. It’s not just a museum—it’s a meaningful experience that stays with you !

This was the best experience. We toured 3 navy vessels and walked through the memorial honoring those lost in battle. We highly recommend this activity. The volunteer guide expressed this to be the largest naval site for tourists located in the Midwest. We walked through the site in 4 hours.

Awesome spot to check out the US Navy ships! It's a permanent exhibit, but if you wanna go inside the ship and submarine, you gotta grab your ticket by 4 pm. You can see them from the dock anytime, though. Pretty cool !

It's a nice spot for a memorial to those lost at war. It was closed for tours while I was in town, but still had plenty to look at. I didn't see pics of the Huey in reviews I scrolled through so I made sure to include some.

I had a genuinely enjoyable walk through the area, made even better by the perfect weather — pleasantly mild, with just the right amount of sunlight. The scenery was captivating, especially the sight of battleships and a submarine docked nearby. I even spotted a helicopter overhead, which added a dynamic touch to the experience. The combination of military history and peaceful surroundings made for a memorable outing that felt both relaxing and visually engaging.

The Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino is a busy and lively place with plenty of amenities for gamblers. There are tables for craps, slots, roulette, blackjack and more, as well as a casual bakery and sports bar/grill.
This was absolutely one of the best times of my life. We stayed at the Key Bank center, and went to the Cody Johnson concert, which was absolutely awesome and came over to the casino 2 of the days that we were here. This place is amazing. Absolutely, awesome!! Everything you're looking for in a casino is here. I could go on and on and on. They have everything literally everything!! We all can't wait to come back if you're in buffalo Definitely, come over here to the casino

This is a nice casino, with nice people. We ate at the restaurant since the bar & grill was closed. Everything was priced well, and our hamburgers were delicious, except we all thought our food was prepared with too much salt, but not enough to make the food unappealing. And, if you're willing to provide your contact info, the casino offers a Player's Card with $15 on it you can use to gamble, shop, or eat. This meant I ate a really niceburger and fries for $4.18 before tip. All I all, we really enjoyed our the here.

I had a magnificent time! They had a comfortable, clean, smoke free slot floor. Cocktail waitresses were pleasant and ever-present. I won a couple of jackpots and came out ahead.... but even if I had not experienced as many wins, I still found the consistency of wins allowed the gambling budget to stretch and therefore much more fun. I planned a couple hours of play , but instead found myself playing 6 hours into the night
Mark G — Google review
I have only been once, but everyone was friendly and professional. As expected of a modern casino there is a heavy emphasis on slots. However, I kom forward to trying the table games and dining. Theres a $15 promo comp for signing up for their loyalty club which you can put toward slots, food or tables. I redeemed mine for food so will be back within a week to try their menu.

Immediately upon walking in, you could smell the cigarette smoke, which is a huge detergent for us. Considering we drove almost 2 hours, we decided to continue. It was a great atmosphere, a lot of happy faces, and a few sad. 😆 The staff was very friendly and answered questions. We had a problem with one machine but the service personnel quickly came to assist. We won some and loss some... The main point is we had a lot of fun. It was definitely a great experience and I would return. Just hold your breath when you walk in and walk out if you're not a smoker.
Vernon J — Google review
Rap music was blaring loudly the whole time, which was annoying. Didn't win anything but played for a little while. Parking garage is nice and close.
Jason M — Google review
I never win here. The machines are very tight. I win in the falls but not here. Ever. Also, I play Cleopatra Keno and I can sit at the machines for several hours barely earning any points. It seems I earn 2 points for several multiple hour sessions. If you are a keno junkie like me then try Niagara Falls NY instead of trying to pull teeth at Buffalo Creek to win literally nothing ever.
Matt C — Google review
We were sceptical about coming here because of the mixed reviews but we had a great time. Remember, casinos are in business to take your money. Have a plan and budget before you go and you increase your chances to have fun and win something. I would recommend this casino. We had a lot of fun here.

Top notch venue. I’ve seen multiple shows, most recently kublai khan tx at the river works. Perfect size for a club show. Multiple bar options, great sound, and excellent sitting area in the back of the venue.

This is probably the best venue I've been to for a concert, and I've been to countless concerts in Buffalo/Rochester over the years. We just saw AFI and I was fully prepared to stand for the show, which is expected but sucks when you're getting old. I was pleasantly surprised to see there was seating both downstairs and upstairs, as well as bars and bathrooms on both levels. You can even step outside to smoke on both levels. We didn't have to wait in any kind of line for the drinks or bathroom at any point. So if you need to sit, this is a huge plus. We got there after doors opened but before the opener went on, and seats filled up after that so don't wait too long, it's first come first served. Lots of free parking on site. The sound was good too. Just a really comfortable place to see a show.

Buffalo RiverWorks is a vibrant entertainment and dining complex situated directly on the waterfront (Buffalo River), offering a wide array of activities for all ages. It has quickly become a local favorite, especially during the warmer months. Experience and Activities RiverWorks provides a fantastic spot to unwind, soak in the views, and enjoy live music. The venue boasts an impressive selection of extracurriculars, from virtual reality games and pinball to an outdoor area designed with kids in mind. There's even a Ferris wheel and zip lines for thrill-seekers. You might even catch a roller derby! Dining and Amenities The food at RiverWorks is generally well-regarded, with two levels of seating that include both indoor and outdoor options. You can relax in Adirondack chairs and enjoy the atmosphere. The colossal Labatt cans make it impossible to miss. Events and Unique Features Beyond entertainment, Buffalo RiverWorks offers versatile event spaces perfect for functions and special occasions. A popular ice rink on the property adds to the year-round appeal (ice only in the colder months). Dock space is available but tends to fill up quickly, so plan accordingly. With so much to see and do, you're sure to find something to enjoy at Buffalo RiverWorks! The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is and some areas could use some deeper cleaning or refreshing. During the busiest time service can be a little slow, but in general that is not an issue.

The tots with cheese curds, lobster bisque, and crab meat is something I will remember for a loooong time, it was absolutely amazing. The fish fry and pizzas were also something of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the worst venue I have ever been to. Tonight was my first time there. I was so excited to see one of my favorite bands, Lawrence, for the first time. Since I wasn't familiar with the venue, I opted to buy the reserved table seats thinking I would get a better view of the band. Nope. I sat under bright fluorescent lights by the bar that stayed on the whole time, and I didn't even get to see the band I paid good money to see. There was no indication that I was buying obstructed view seats. I paid over $150 a pop for this view. I left halfway through the show because the venue and their audacity to charge full price for these seats absolutely ruined the experience for me.

The Wyck Recommendation: Buffalo RiverWorks Rating: 3.8/5 Grain Silos Ghost Town and Axe Math That Makes No Sense Intro Scene I went to RiverWorks on a Friday at 1 pm. Prime time for nothing to happen. The place felt like a half-abandoned amusement park designed by a tipsy civil engineer with a bridge fetish. I walked I gawked I left. What Was Ordered Nothing. Not a beer not a fried pickle not even an overpriced seltzer from the tiki bar. Just me my feet and the world’s loneliest Ferris wheel. Service Commentary Can’t complain. Can’t praise. Didn’t test it. The only staff I saw were two kids perched at the top of a fun slide looking like they’d rather be anywhere else. Vibe Check It’s gigantic. Feels like a carnival swallowed by grain silos and concrete. Midday it’s a ghost town with all the promise of a rowdy night that hasn’t been invited yet. You know there’s a party in there somewhere just not when the sun’s out. The Space Itself Industrial relics painted like Labatt Blue cans. A Ferris wheel that spins when it feels like it. An arcade bar that’s darker than a hangover and a bathroom with a Step Brothers shrine above the urinal. Outside there’s axe throwing a tiki bar with a fake palm tree and that bridge. The Michigan Avenue lift bridge stands there like a giant Meccano set flexing for boats. The City of Buffalo’s clearly throwing money at this place. Ziplining paddle boarding climbing you name it all wrapped around these iconic silos. Also for the record the axe throwing sign brags about 15 throws for 10 bucks or 8 throws for 5. Do that math and tell me how fewer axes cost less per throw. RiverWorks logic. About the Neighborhood Waterfront post-industrial Buffalo. The best parking tip is to pray you come when nobody else does so weekday afternoons are your jam. The bridge alone is worth watching a massive slab of metal that floats up like an elevator for ships. Weirdly majestic. Hits & Misses ✓ The bridge show is free and fascinating ✓ So much random stuff to do if you catch it alive ice rink ziplining paddle boarding arcade axe throwing ✓ Silos as giant beer cans iconic ✗ Dead vibe if you’re early or sober ✗ Feels underused all that space just echoing your footsteps ✗ Could be cleaner could be wilder could be more awake at 1 pm on a Friday Final Verdict RiverWorks is what happens when Buffalo’s industrial bones get dressed up for a beer festival but forget the guests. The city’s pouring money into it so there’s plenty to do if you show up when humans do too. Go for the sheer size the bridge show the confusing axe math and the chance that it might all come alive after dark. Next time I’m staying for a drink maybe. Perfect For Daytime urban exploring with a thing for lift bridges Coming back at night when you actually want other people around

My daughter and I went here for a drink after her appointment at Roswell Nice little celebration I had the chili which was very good and she had the vegetable sausage with chips. The drinks were extremely good we had the gin old maids 12.00 each. There is outdoor seating we sat at the bar and there was no wait when we arrived approximately 5:00. They have a private parking lot that you can pull in and park with no effort. There are stairs going up to the second floor where you order your food so I would not say this is an easily accessible place for handicap patrons

Stopped in here before a concert for a bite and a drink. Food was delicious and worth the wait, even with the small menu. Drinks were exotic and well-made. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only miss was the price tags - everything was a bit expensive per person; otherwise wonderful experience!

Ballyhoo is a solid spot if you're looking for great food, a chill atmosphere, and a place to hang with friends. The creamy shell mac & cheese was super comforting, and the TJ Dawg (a chorizo, pork, and bacon sausage topped with pico, crema, cotija, and avocado) was packed with flavor--definitely a standout. We grabbed a table on the patio, watched the Bandits game, brought our own card games, and just hung out for a few hours. It was relaxed and fun, perfect for a weekend evening. The cocktails were great, but the jam cocktails were next level--sweet, unique, and dangerously easy to drink. Also, the ice cream sandwich? Absolutely massive. Like, split-with-a-friend big. Overall, highly recommend if you're looking for good eats, good drinks, and a low-key place to enjoy both.

Wow—my sister-in-law raved about this place, and we finally went to check it out… and let me just say, it did not disappoint! I’ve passed by so many times without realizing that this spot is a true hidden gem right here in Buffalo. It’s in the perfect location, totally walkable if you’re in the mood to bar hop and explore the neighborhood. The food? Fresh and absolutely delicious. The drinks? Incredible. They truly redefine versatility anything you can dream up, they’ve got it, and they do it right. How delightful… with a side of happy! Can’t wait to come back again. This place has earned a top spot on my go-to list!

This is a popular spot for drinks and cocktails. They also have good non-alcoholic beers. They have a great outdoor patio area, also with a TV. It is a perfect place to hang out at in the summer. Unfortunately, this place is not handicapped accessible as you have to walk up stairs to get in.

i bring everyone who visits me from outside of buffalo here. sausages are so so good. when it’s busy they announce the orders on a microphone it’s pretty cool

Food was good, drinks were good. A little spendy. The restrooms were trashy. Tasteless Graffiti, full of hate messages. I thought at first the owner can’t help it but he could easy get a cane of brake clean and a towel to clean it off. That was my only complaint. Not sure it would be wheelchair accessible either.

Pearl Street Grill & Brewery is housed in a historic 19th Century building that has been meticulously restored, featuring oak claw foots, booths, and New Orleans-style wrap-around patios. With eight bars spread across four levels, the brewery offers a variety of house-brewed beers on tap, including seasonal options like the signature "train wreck" amber ale and the Saber's Edge IPA.
Amazing food with an amazing view! I loved the Cajun chicken Alfredo it was super delicious, it was the perfect sunset dinner, the view was amazing as we watched the sun go down & the live band they had playing was also incredible. I’d recommend for couples for a date night, super romantic!

Stopped in for early dinner on Labor Day. Plenty of seating available. The building exterior is lovely, and the interior is comfortable. The ceiling fan system is very unique. All the fans are driven by one motor and interconnected with pulleys and belts. Fun to look at. Lots of TVs for sports, and interesting wall decor. Great looking place. They also offer gluten free options for sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas. We ordered the Cajun Shrimp Salad and the Ditch Digger burger. The salad was great except for the avocado which was inedible. The burger was cooked far beyond the medium temperature requested. Our server, Julie, saved the day by replacing the avocado and giving up a free second beer (Lake Effect Pale Ale-which was awesome). We didn't ask for a new burger because the beef was very tasty in spite of the overcook. Large selection of house brewed beers and ales, both on tap and in cans, plus a well stocked bar with lots of spirits from which to choose. In spite of the food glitches, would give it another shot.

Went here with my dad for his birthday. Very good food, quick service and a very cool building. Compared to other Brew Pubs, this food was top tier.

The food is super delicious and this is conveniently located! Our server was nice and it wasnt too busy for a Saturday afternoon. The white pizza and wings were so good. Pricing is a little steep but that's expected with restaurants downtown.

Food is always great and so is the service. Their fish tacos are my go tos, but their burgers are also not shabby. Their outdoor seating is nice during the summer and their inhouse beers are great.

We walked in on Saturday night. It was empty. We ordered basic bar food. When I got my chicken fingers, they were completely burnt and dried out to a crisp. They were the most disgusting looking things I’ve seen at a restaurant. We’ve gone to this place over the years and always had OK food, but it has gone downhill in the past three years.

10 outta 10!!! Our first trip to Buffalo/Niagara Falls for our 25th anniversary and this was the best starter spot. Not busy for a Thursday night, but perfect for us. Super duper duper shout out to our server Jeff. When I tell you he was on point with EVERYTHING!. Food, drinks, conversation, suggestions, he was great. Go see him and tell him the House's sent you. Seriously, would recommend 10 outta 10. Great location, good food and drinks.

The stylish decor and candlelit ambiance create a romantic setting for patrons to enjoy the extensive wine list, which features over 200 labels and offers many selections by the glass.
Deserving of Michelin star rating. This restaurant did not disappoint. Went with my gf, had the asparagus ravioli and peacan crusted salmon.Probably the best meal i've ever had. And the beet salad was amazing and as well as the presentation. Gf also had the Manhattan and i had a margarita, they don't cheap out on the alc. Highly recommended. 10 stars!!!

Pork chops had a savory delicious sauce, making the dish outstanding. The halibut was also outstanding. The sword fish wasn’t well liked. Service was excellent and drinks were tasty. Valet service is complimentary- a nice touch. Historic building was pretty on the exterior.

Where does one even begin when talking about how great Bacchus is? They hosted our micro-wedding dinner (12 people) on October 31 and it could not have been more perfect. Catherine, the events coordinator, was incredibly helpful, even on short notice after our initial reception location fell through, and she made us feel completely at ease leading up to the evening. Derek, our waiter, was amazing, attentive, friendly, and absolutely on top of everything. And the chef, who loaned us the wildest knife to cut our cake, made the night even more unforgettable. The entire evening was exceptional. If anyone is looking for a place to host an event in Buffalo, Bacchus is the place. We could not recommend it more highly. We will definitely be back, just the two of us, for dinner and drinks very soon. The photos do not even do it justice. Just go and see for yourself.

We visited this restaurant and were absolutely delighted! 🍽️ The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the food is incredibly delicious. Perfect place for celebrating a special occasion. Our waiter David provided great pairing choices for wine to go with our dinners, we toasted the night, and the delicate way my swordfish was prepared made it the most savory I've ever even had. Not to metion desert. Wonderful evening !

The food is amazing! It was plentiful and served piping hot. I had the crispy pork belly starter, and pecan-encrusted salmon for the main plate. Both were delicious! We stayed at the Curtiss where the food was terrible. Do yourself a favor if you’re staying there and walk down the block to the lovely, intimate Bacchus!

Lovely dining experience from start to finish. Welcoming upscale interior with small bar. Outstanding martini made to specific requirements and bartender’s knowledge on beer was spot on. Menu was seasonal and eclectic. We shared a beet and goat cheese appetizer with a tasty citrus vinaigrette. We had the Thai inspired mussels and rib eye with Gorgonzola. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and could have stood on its own. Loved the 1/2 bottle wine options. And our waitress, Kristin, was incredible. Great experience here.

Day 3

Proximity is everything
For day 3, we bundled attractions like The Buffalo Zoo and Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House and other places within a close range, so that the time it takes to travel between all of them is less than one hour. Combined with the average time people spend there, your day should take about 7 hours.

Nestled in the scenic Delaware Park, The Buffalo Zoo stands as a testament to wildlife conservation and education since its establishment in 1875, making it the third-oldest zoo in the United States. This charming destination is perfect for families and animal lovers alike, featuring an impressive array of mammals, reptiles, and birds. Visitors can engage with nature through interactive experiences like giraffe feedings or exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of fascinating exhibits such as Sea Lion Cove and Rainforest Falls.
I have to say my favorite was the polar bear. He was active and so cute ! Very clean zoo. The baby goat are clean. I literally have nothing bad to say about this zoo. It wasn't even crowded. At the time when we visited they has beautiful lantern art up as well which we loved. The giraffe was also a highlight for my kids as well. Mostly learning g some cool fun facts from the staff made it even more cool. Definitely loved how educational and fast given the staff was throughout.

Got to see the baby red panda were so cute .We had a burger at the burger restaurant was very good weird the pop was more than the burger! Spent couple of hours there got to see everything loved the polar bear and giraffes and the rainforest.

This zoo may be small in size but it is really nice. They have so many cool animals like Hyenas, Snow Monkeys, Seals, Polar Bears and of course Buffalo, as well as so much more. The Hyena I saw was so cute. Also apparently I went there while they were celebrating their 150th anniversary so there were a bunch of big light up displays and animal figures. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. It is a lot of fun.
Willku9000 — Google review
A wonderful zoo with friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging staff. The zoo is very easy to navigate and isn't so large that you feel like you can't see everything in a timely manner. My wife and I purchased the giraffe encounter and that was just the icing on the cake. I would highly encourage you to look at and purchase an encounter to get a behind the scenes look that you can't get otherwise.

Very skimpy on animals. Good for a nice walk on a good day. I hope they turn it into an animal rescue site and rehab . We don't really need to cage more wild animals but great if born in captivity or a rescue. I understand the eagles can't fly doe to injury, the animals there are well taken care of and look really healthy.
Tim K — Google review
Waste of money. This was the worst zoo I have ever been to $60 plus for 3 people plus parking! 0 out of 10 do not recommend. The animals looked like they were unalived. The lions looked half starved. The animals barely moved. The polar bear which was the highlight of the visit looked miserable sitting in dry dirt. No water in sight or anything for the poor guy. This place makes me see while animals should not be in cages. They did not look happy at all. I wished I could have saved them from their despair. Poor things. Do better for the animals. Also they were decorating but not decorating. Just had junk laying everywhere in piles even blocking walk ways. Very unprofessional and unpleasant in my opinion. Awful place 😖

Once again a visit for the 'Zoomagination'. 🎊 This event never disappoints. Best viewed in the later evening hours, but come early enough to check out a show. 👍 Easy walking,🚶‍♂️ but a bit of it to do, to see all the displays. Most of the animals are asleep, or the areas are closed, so not an extra distraction. Light displays are spectacular and well done, with some being interactive. Great for all ages! Don't miss this amazing event ❤️ while its here! Run, don't walk! 😉

Our first trip to the Buffalo Zoo as we were passing through the area was great. A smaller zoo but with plenty of animals to see. It is an older zoo, 150 years old, and some areas are very dated, but you can see they are working to update all the areas. They were setting up for the Zoo Lantern Festival that looks like it is going to be amazing. We spent about 4 hours at the zoo and still didn't get to everything. I guess it just means another trip back when we are passing through Buffalo again.

The Martin House, a masterpiece designed by Frank Lloyd Wright between 1903 and 1905, is located in the Buffalo Parkside neighborhood. Recognized as one of Wright's greatest works, this Prairie-style estate showcases his signature architectural elements such as horizontal planes, open-concept interior with stained glass windows including the custom Tree of Life window. The site offers guided tours through the first-floor rooms, pergola, conservatory, and carriage house where visitors can view Wright-designed furnishings and fixtures.
This place is absolutely breathtaking. It is a marvel of buildings what they have done on rebuilding it is just absolutely spectacular. It is such a beautiful valued building and walking through. It is just a walk-through history. It is so inspiring to go to and I highly recommend everyone to go there and learn more about Frank Lloyd Wright and this building and the reason why it was built if you don’t go and visit this building, you’re missing out visit Buffalo!!!

I took the 75-minute tour today and absolutely loved it. Lou was my guide and he did a great job. I've been to around a dozen or so Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and this was the most spectacular. The property is sprawling, the home is meticulously restored, and the landscaping is so beautiful. This is a must do in Buffalo for any architectural buffs.
Kevin L — Google review
We took the 2 hr tour. Parking is in the surrounding streets and watch the signage for allowed days and times. Tickets were on every car illegally parked. The house is obviously impressive and massive. Being fairly tall, I really didn't care for the areas with low ceilings that were intended by wright to either move you along or to sit down. Interior woodworking was impeccable and outside construction flawless. The guide seemed focused on minute details of the owners life and family rather than the house. But it was informative and very well run.
Steve T — Google review
Frank Lloyd Wright architecture lovers will be very excited to see the restoration and current condition of this beautiful piece of residential art! Every detail was understood and perfectly restored to its original condition. Part of the house and an adjacent FLW home were destroyed in the past and all of it was rebuilt to exacting details and materials. As soon as you step into the home, it takes your breath away with sights, lights and sounds like no other home. It is not Renaissance grand, but it is FLW grand and I like that better. The warmth of the woods, the glass that makes the light talk to you and the art all over the house secretly disguised as furniture are all amazing. The docents were professional, very knowledgeable that provided just enough time for guests to stop walk around and take it all in. They answered questions politely with additional stories about the family and additional history bits. There are several choices of options for the tour with progressively longer and more complete tours of the home, adjacent buildings, and grounds. I highly recommend touring this Frank Lloyd Home in Buffalo!

The tour began with an excellent video laying the background for the design and building of the estate. Dave, our tour guide, was a wealth of information, and very entertaining. He was able to respond to all questions. We took the two hour tour, which I would highly recommend. We went in October, but I would love to return in spring/summer when the gardens are in bloom.

What a spectacular place! My family enjoyed hearing about the history of the home and the relationship between Mr. Wright and Mr. Martin and their partnership in building this house. The house has been beautifully restored and is a treasure. Our volunteer guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the property. We are glad to have gotten a membership and look forward to returning.
Chris G — Google review
Amazing tour. We took the 2 hours tour and it surprisingly went very quickly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the house, the history of the person that commissioned the house to be built, FLW, and the neighborhood. Even if tour are not a fan of FLW, you will enjoy this tour of the property.

The West Side Bazaar in Buffalo, NY is a diverse food hall that offers a unique culinary experience. One of its popular stalls, 'Abyssinia Ethiopian Stall,' provides an opportunity to savor well-cooked and flavorful Ethiopian dishes. The stall's menu features classic Ethiopian offerings, allowing visitors to explore the distinctive flavors and textures of this cuisine. Additionally, the bazaar is home to various other ethnic culinary delights from places like Lao, Thailand, Burma, and Japan.
A place where you are so spoiled for choice you end up sitting at a well crafted bar formulating your plan of attack because there are so many incredible cuisines in one place it requires serious thought! This is the only problem you’ll have if you visit Wedi, the selection of different cuisines from Jamaican, to Korean, Soul Food and Egyptian really is an invitation to international flavors! An informal setting, more like a food court but with character. I mean, who really wants to have to get dressed for formal settings just to eat quality food?? We left VERY satisfied and with full bags of leftovers because who could choose only one cuisine??!! Honestly treat yourself to something different because this level of dedication to remaining authentic to their culture, and providing such an inviting and friendly level of service seems to be rare in WNY but you can find this in abundance at this location. If you’re tired of greasy EXPENSIVE burgers and limp fries, do your self a favor and get some flavor back into your life!

I stopped by to bust Nathalie at Malkia & Co. that served authentic 🇨🇩 Congolese Cuisine. The chicken was amazing with rice and beans 🫘 The chocolate mousse was very good. everything was good 👍🏾 I would highly recommend. There's other business inside to patronize, so check it out. The ginger 🫚 drink was some of the best that I've had. Be careful of the hot sauce. It's seriously hot 🔥 One Thai is very good and the Cookie Jar's told me I would be back after trying her chicken, she's wasn't lying 😋

Not a bad food court. You might find it not "bustling" enough but I don't mind it at all. Clean, quiet & inviting environment that offers different ethnic food options. I usually come here when I have a longer lunch break. I go to the Thai place, order a quick bite, sit down and chill for a bit afterwards. The community cafe is definitely a neat idea. The West Side Bazaar is hands down one of Buffalo’s most unique and vibrant spots. It’s not just a food court—it’s a cultural experience. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the smells of spices and sizzling dishes from all over the world. I’ve tried East African sambusas, Burmese noodles, and Caribbean jerk chicken—all in one visit—and every bite was full of flavor and love. Each vendor is incredibly friendly and eager to share their story. It’s inspiring to see so many immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs building something from the ground up. You can tell that this place is about more than just food—it’s about opportunity and community. The building itself is really cool too. It’s a refurbished space with an open layout, colorful decor, and communal seating that makes it easy to relax and soak in the atmosphere. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and everything feels made from scratch. If you’re in Buffalo and want something real—authentic food, welcoming people, and a feel-good mission—you’ve got to check this place out. It’s become one of my favorite go-to lunch spots. Highly recommend!

Restaurant
Bob & John's La Hacienda is a local favorite in North Buffalo, serving up a variety of Italian classics including pizza, chicken dishes, and an all-you-can-eat spaghetti offer. The pizzeria has been a beloved institution since 1972 and is known for its delightful pizza buffet lunch featuring classic favorites like pepperoni and assorted veggies. The BBQ chicken wings are cooked to perfection and served with chunky, flavorful blue cheese.
First time going here, and as a Buffalo native I can’t believe I’ve never tried it before! My fiancé wanted to check out their $1 wing night, so we did and wow, so glad we did. We ordered 10 medium and 10 honey BBQ, and both flavors were on point. Personally, I would’ve loved them a little saucier, but the meat was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious 🤤. This spot is definitely getting added to our date night rotation! Love that they have great options for takeout, plus both indoor and outdoor seating.
Jillian K — Google review
For ladies night, the three of us decided on Bob and John’s (Robert and Jonathan’s for the sophisticated crowd) and they never disappoint. I ubered as parking can be difficult depending on the time of day. We were pleasantly surprised with the extensive renovations since we’ve last visited. There’s now a beer and wine bar, patio space and it looks spiffy! Because it was beautiful outside, we sat in the patio area. Our server was so nice and knowledgeable about the menu and was excited to serve us. I decided to try something different and got the Sampler Platter that included chicken tenders, steak fries, mozzarella sticks and pizza logs. For my appetizer I had a slice of pizza with cup and char pepperoni. The sampler was quite tasty but there is a noticeable difference between pizza from an entire pie vs a slice of that makes since. Overall, this was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back. Some key takeaways…$5.00 all you can eat spaghetti on Mondays and $30(?) for a large pizza and 20 wings on Thursdays-dine in only I think.
Joycee W — Google review
Their pizza is really good 90% of the time. Every once in a while you get a dud that's under cooked. The wings are way better in person. They're never crispy when I get them delivered. Their subs are above average.
Doug P — Google review
I haven't been here in years. The renovations are extreme. The new patio and modern updates are very nice! The menu is huge including some Mexican food options. I ordered a chicken wing wrap, the chicken fingers had honey mustard on them. It came with chips. $12 per person to eat lunch while drinking water. Waitress was attentive and nice. I was interested to see the $5.00 all you can eat spaghetti. That's quite the deal. Thanks for the visit!
Mak C — Google review
Came in yesterday (Sunday) with a group of 6 adults and 7 young children. Waitress welcomed us and quickly set up a large table in dining room. Food was dynamite, kids had fun, service was A+++. Thanks for accommodating our large group and making us feel welcome the whole time, even when the kids were being kids!
Christopher J — Google review
We've been there many times over the last 10 years. Mostly for the lunch buffet but also for family dinners. Delicious hot & fresh pizza can't be beat. The wings were meaty and cooked just right. The only downside is the difficulty in finding a parking spot, But the food makes it worth the effort.
CorianPens24 — Google review
The quality of the food combined with the cost is mind blowing. Daily specials and specials daily, you can't find anything too expensive and the fact it's all delicious breaks my head. Cheap, delicious. You can dine in and the waitresses are both competent and friendly, take out, have it delivered or sit at the bar next door and they just bring you food! No better place in Buffalo for a family or a date or just to grab a bite at lunch. 10/10, highly recommend!
Jay J — Google review
Truly one of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had and it’s very safe to say I’ll never be returning. I also am predicting that the owner has something biting and defensive to say in response to this based on the encounter I had with her in her restaurant and how she replies to other people’s reviews. My boyfriend and I go in on a weekday for their pizza buffet that is supposed to start at 11am. We tell the waitress that we’re there for the buffet as she seats us and she says we can go up whenever we want. Mind you we’re absolutely starving so of course we hurry up to the food to find… that there’s not even one pizza out, only salad and soup. This is really disappointing to us since like I said, we were starving and ready to go to town on some pizza. When we ask the waitress where the pizza is for the PIZZA BUFFET she gives us attitude and tells us that they don’t start making the pizza for the buffet until customers come as if we should already know this information, which we didn’t… bc every time we’ve come here in the past the food is already out for the buffet… the fact that she gives us attitude about this is quite ridiculous so already we feel uncomfortable and of course, starving, and disappointed we have to wait for food at a BUFFET (that’s not what a buffet is). We ask to speak with a manager and she says she’ll get the owner out to talk to us but I wasn’t optimistic about this conversation based on the waitresses’ attitude. Lo and behold, we get the same treatment from the owner, no apology or recognition as to why we were disappointed, only the same statement that they they don’t start making the pizza until customers show up, which apparently this is just common knowledge to everybody? All the waitress had to do was simply say hey guys, it’ll be a minute until the pizza comes out since you’re the first buffet customers of the day and then we could decide whether we wanted to stay and wait or leave (we deeply regretted not just leaving once we found out that the food for the buffet wasn’t even made yet). Apparently my boyfriend said something the owner didn’t like so she ended the conversation very early on and afterwards I felt probably the most uncomfortable I ever felt in a restaurant. So, we just scarfed our couple slices down our throats just so we could get out of there since we felt so unwelcome and disappointed. Again, I imagine she’ll have something to say in response to this too, but this is NOT good customer service in the least and literally turns people off from your establishment. Also, the pizza was way too salty and tasted like school cafeteria pizza.

Nestled in the vibrant Elmwood Village, Daniela stands out as a beloved destination for those craving modern Italian cuisine. This charming eatery specializes in pinsa, a delightful pan-baked pizza that has quickly become a neighborhood favorite. Diners rave about the flavorful dishes, with many returning to savor their favorites like the Portobello and Red Pepper Panini or the rich Carbonara.
Had one of the specials for lunch, Chilean Sea Bass. It was outstanding. Pesto cream sauce was delicious, bed of fried risotto was wonderful, topped with a delicious mix of capers and grapes and saffron and I don't know what else. Plus blistered grape tomatoes. The portion of sea bass was large, and perfectly cooked. The whole ensemble was beautifully balanced and delicious.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant! Really really delicious arancini, burrata pizza and vanilla ice-cream! The pomodoro e crema pasta and chips and caramelized onion dip were tasty. The Japanese sweet potatoes are AMAZING.

What an experience! I brought a friend here who’s visiting from NH to experience the freshness of their ingredients! He was blown out of the water with his Margarita pinsa. The stracciatella so creamy, the basil right off the plant, and a crust cooked to perfection! I ordered the turkey cranberry panini. So flavorful, with the perfect amount of sweetness from the cranberry spread to compliment the meat all served on a fresh ciabatta bread. Well done, chef! 🇮🇹🤌🏼😘

There is a lot of chatter about this place. I always hear that someone stopped in so I have been eager to try it. Upon entering, it's nothing of what I expected. When you hear Italian food, you often expect the traditional table cloths and traditional furniture. Rather, Daniela's is extremely modern. We are seated and served by Caleb & Tori. I ordered the Pomodoro e Crema linguine, house-made sauce, cream & parmigiana. 17 - and I asked for penne (which the menu stated $1.00 up charge for penne or spaghetti) - as I was ordering I also realized that the waiter was not holding a notebook. He was taking the order by memory. I also asked if the chicken was breaded and he said no. I'm not a fan of grilled chicken but it's not an option for me to eat a plate of carbs & their only other option is tenderloin. The waiter said something about pork jowls that was also in the lasanga? But I really just wish that they served chicken cutlets or meatballs. Furthermore, I receive my dish and it's not penne. It's linguine. I didn't bother to complain because pasta is pasta. It tastes the same but with a vodka sauce I was excited for penne. My friend got the lasagna which he enjoyed. We only drank ice water and that hit the spot on a hot day like today. The bread served with the meal was an interesting choice. I tried a bite of the crust and a bite of the middle and it was good. Just a carb heavy dish. We asked the waitress if the pasta is homemade and she said no, but the sauce, bread and pizza dough were. Although the pasta is not homemade, it was cooked perfectly. I'm curious to hear the reason for the dollar upcharge for penne or spaghetti if you are not hand making your pasta. The chicken was okay, I tasted a lemon flavor on it. I didn't try anything else on the menu. We spend $30-$40 per person. Thanks for the visit!

This is the best dish I have ever had in my life...dare i say it would be my death row meal. This is a special but definitely deserves a permanent spot on the menu! Sea Bass on crispy risotto with basil puree (i think?)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review I ordered the Margherita pizza and it was absolutely UNBELIEVABLE — truly the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The crust was perfectly baked, the sauce was rich and flavorful, the basil was incredibly fresh, and the cheese just melted beautifully into everything. Every single bite was next-level. If you’re anywhere near Buffalo, you have to try this place. I would honestly fly back just for this pizza. 🍕🔥

I have been here multiple times. Consistently good pasta, flatbread pizza and Italian dessert. Always a good place for when I'm craving good Italian food! We have never had a dish we didn't like but never felt compelled to leave a review. That is until I recently had their squid ink pasta with sea bass (special menu) and it was so good, I had to rave about it! So, the first time I had squid ink pasta was in Spain and I didn't think any other restaurant could make a better squid ink pasta. But kudos to Daniela because it brought back wonderful memories from that trip as I took each bite of my squid ink pasta. I loved it so much, I wanted to go back the next day! I wish this pasta on their regular menu because I'm already missing it! But I am now convinced to try their special menu instead of our usual staple. For those who are newer to Daniela, The Ahi-tuna appetizer is a staple for us. Can't go wrong with any of the flatbread but my personal favorite is the spicy salami spread. Their pasta is great! We have tried all of them and loved them all. The lasagna is also very good. My partner's favorite. He gets that dish often. Their beef sandwich is amazing. Only had it twice but both times it was tender and juicy. We typically have affogato and tiramisu for dessert. Can't go wrong with this place. It does get crowded so we usually go during off-peak hours like 5 pm or 3 pm. It gets loud in the restaurant too so I like it when there aren't too many people around.

Restaurant
Oliver's Restaurant, located at 2095 Delaware Ave., has been a staple in the local dining scene since 1936. It is renowned for its sophisticated ambiance and top-notch American cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant boasts a circular bar and booths, creating an elegant setting to enjoy their extensive wine list. OpenTable reviewers have consistently praised Oliver's for its overall dining experience, ambiance, and service.
From the moment you walk in the door this is fine dining at its finest. Waitstaff was amazing and attentive. Food was scrumptious. Desert blew us away Pace of the meal was also great Will definitely return every year when we are in town for a bills game !

Really wanted to love it, but a little underwhelming for the price. This restaurant is in Buffalo, not Paris,NYC or Milan. As you can see from the menu it’s a bit overpriced. I did have a pretty amazing drink, a Cynar Swizzle with a ton of flavor. We had a loaf of spinach bread which was crispy and delicious. I had the butter poached lobster which was little bit chewy and overcooked with a side of scallops (3) which were very small. My wife did enjoy her filet though. Our waiter Joe W was very pleasant and helpful. I give it an overall 4 stars because of the drink, spinach bread and Filet.

Quiet atmosphere with a skilled bartender making wonderfully thought out cocktails. Fresh and modern twist to perfectly crafted entrees. Service is one of the top in the area with knowledgeable, professional and attentive staff. We had the pleasure of being serviced by Joe who was a delight. Finished the evening with a double espresso with in-house made dessert. Finally, a restaurant that is creating some sweet meal endings on their own. Cannot wait to return.

Having moved here recently from NYC where I spent considerable time working in varying levels of hospitality from fine dining to bagel shops, Oliver's sticks out to me as a quintessential star in the Buffalo food scene. On a ten grade scale I would give the food a 9/10 and the service a 13. Kim (and Charlie) specifically made my experience wonderful. After oysters, the steak tartare, scallops, and lemon cheesecake I was besotted, in a good way. The true foodie passion shown in each dish, the ease and comfort in each conversation, and the level of care taken down to the detail (including specifically packaging my left over dishes based on small portions of our side conversation) all equates to a definite Must Go. Apologies my pictures are vaguely lacking, half of them I couldn't stop myself from immediately tucking in, and the other half were taken in haste so that I could get right to them asap.

Oliver's Restaurant has stood the test of time in Buffalo's restaurant scene! It's truly amazing that I can say I've been dining here for over 25 years! It has maintained its great reputation for fine dining in an elegant atmosphere. Some of the servers I recognize have been working here for decades as well. Excellent food and cocktails. They also offer valet parking. If you haven't been here yet I highly recommend making a reservation. Its a great date place and perfect for special occasions as well.

This restaurant is the example of greatness. Chic decor, impecable atmosphere, knowledge of the server, describing every single item of the menu on such detail, I love the enthusiasm in which Devon made sure we had an unforgettable time. If you ever visit Búfalo, NY. you should not miss this restaurant. The flavors and presentation of the dishes are superb. Lovely time.

I'm lucky enough to have tried fine dining all over Buffalo, as well as all over the country. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE Oliver's. My wife and I visited for the first time on Saturday evening. This place is top notch, and I would recommend it to anyone for a date night. We tried a whole array of things, much of it recommended by our server. Dont skip the eggs! The beet salad was wonderful. I had the halibut over sprouts which was UNREAL. My wife went for the ribeye over creamed spinach. The server we had, I didn't ask for his name, but he was awesome! Minor detail that a lot of restaurants miss, the pacing of the food was completely unmatched. The ambiance and venue is perfect. Also, they have their own parking with valet. Food was a solid 9.5/10, near perfect. We'd definitely come back.

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens are a beautiful botanical garden in South Park, Buffalo, New York. The gardens were designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, Lord & Burnham, and John F. Cowell, and feature a variety of plants from all over the world. The gardens are also home to a 67-foot dome housing tropical palms. There is also a flower and light show that is choreographed to music at night.
Had a great time at the botanical gardens. Lots of different plants to see! Very well taken care of. The building is beautiful, the way the plants are arranged is gorgeous. It was very warm and muggy, so keep that in mind if you go during the summer! Not a complaint, just a heads up for folks who are planning to visit :) It really is a beautiful place to see if you are in the area and want a family-friendly thing to do!! There is a cute little gift shop on the way out. They also have a small gallery with beautiful artwork for purchase.

I have been coming here and I’ve been using my arts access pass but was disappointed that I can only use it 1 time a month so I decided to get an individual membership! Not only can I come as much as I want I can access amazing perks and benefits for being a member. The gardens are beautiful and walking thru it takes you into a magical land of floral plantations. The air is so pure and fresh and the environment is clean . I come on a weekday and it’s not busy . The staff / volunteers are so friendly as well . There is a gift shop where you can purchase all sort of goodies for the whole family . 10/10 recommend coming here and if you are looking for a home away from home get a membership for you and your family ❤️

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained natural attractions in Western New York. Located in South Park, Buffalo, this historic garden stands as a living museum of nature, art, and architecture. Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and housed within the stunning Lord & Burnham glass conservatory, the gardens provide an all-season experience that delights plant lovers, families, and tourists alike. From the moment one steps inside, the serenity and freshness of the environment immediately capture your senses. The conservatory is immaculately maintained, and every section is thoughtfully arranged. The temperature and humidity are carefully regulated to support a vast variety of tropical, subtropical, desert, and temperate plants. Even during the winter months, the greenery and colorful blossoms inside the greenhouse make visitors feel as if they are walking through a rainforest. The layout includes numerous themed houses such as the Palm Dome, the Orchid House, the Fern House, and the Desert House. The Palm Dome is breathtaking with its tall royal palms, banana trees, and cycads that form a tropical canopy overhead. The Orchid House showcases delicate and rare varieties such as Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, and Oncidium, blooming in vibrant shades of purple, pink, and white. The Fern House offers a soothing green retreat with species like the Bird’s Nest Fern, Staghorn Fern, and Maidenhair Fern. The Desert House contrasts beautifully with its collection of cacti and succulents, including Aloe vera, Golden Barrel Cactus, Echeveria, and Agave americana. A few of the rare plants that stand out include the Corpse Flower (Amorphophallus titanum), known for its enormous size and unique blooming cycle, and the Sensitive Plant (Mimosa pudica), which reacts to touch. Other fascinating species like Pitcher Plants, Bromeliads, and Heliconia add to the diversity and wonder of this garden. Seasonal floral displays featuring tulips, chrysanthemums, poinsettias, and orchids ensure that every visit feels different and refreshing. The ambience throughout the gardens is calm and relaxing. Sitting benches are thoughtfully placed, allowing visitors to rest and absorb the tranquil surroundings. The gentle sound of water fountains, the presence of koi ponds, and the well-paved walking paths enhance the overall charm. The Wegmans Family Garden area adds an educational touch, especially for children and families interested in interactive learning about plants and sustainability. The staff and volunteers maintain the place with exceptional care, keeping every section clean and vibrant. The lighting and temperature are well-regulated, and each area is labeled clearly for easy understanding. The gift shop and café at the entrance also offer a pleasant break with souvenirs and refreshments. In conclusion, the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is a true gem in Buffalo — a perfect blend of history, architecture, and horticultural excellence. Whether you are a nature lover, photographer, student, or simply someone seeking peace amidst greenery, this is an ideal destination to explore in every season. A visit here rejuvenates the mind and leaves you with a deep appreciation for the beauty of plant life.

Absolutely breathtaking!!! We attended a private event here and were blown away by how beautiful the gardens were. Walking up, the building itself is so elegant and unique. There’s plenty of parking and local parks nearby. Inside, the gardens are lush and green, with towering trees in the main room. We loved walking around and discovering all the different kinds of gardens. Our kids really loved watching the fish in the koi pond. The gift shop is very nice and I’m pleased we were able to stop by and grab a few things. Overall, very beautiful and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is a wonderful place for anyone who loves plants and global ecological systems. For botanists and nature enthusiasts, it serves as a great hub for study and inspiration. The diverse plant collections, seasonal exhibits like the Eerie Garden, and well-organized educational programs make it both enjoyable and informative. The wide collection of tropical and exotic plants is especially impressive, offering a wonderful glimpse into ecosystems from around the world. However, the management should take more care of the tropical region plants, as they require precise temperature and humidity control. During our visit, we noticed higher humidity and temperature levels, and a few species appeared dried out due to lack of water or excess heat. Maintaining proper conditions is vital for the health and longevity of these plants, as each species plays an important role in the collection. Overall, it’s a beautiful and educational place worth visiting, but better climate management would make it even more remarkable.

I've been visiting the Botanical Gardens since I was a young boy. My parents did their wedding photos there. The place looks better than ever. The dome has been refurbished and all the rooms are bright and airy. The selection of plant life is amazing, and the new butterfly exhibit is very good, although the Butterfly house in Niagara Falls is much better.

Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica is a magnificent Catholic church made of white marble, featuring a 165-ft. dome and two towers. Situated near the Buffalo Botanical Gardens, this stunning church was built in the 1920s and offers self-guided tours throughout the day. The opulent interior exudes a sense of divine love and power, making it an incredibly designed place of worship in New York.
During our Easter vacation from Toronto, our family had the incredible blessing of visiting Our Lady of Victory National Shrine and Basilica in Lackawanna (just outside Buffalo). On Easter Sunday, we wanted to attend Mass and were fortunate to find this sacred and stunning church nearby. No words can truly capture the beauty of this place. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt a deep sense of peace, awe, and reverence. The architecture is breathtaking—every corner filled with intricate artwork, marble, stained glass, and spiritual symbolism that lifts your heart instantly. We attended the Easter Mass and felt so welcomed by the community and touched by the spiritual atmosphere. It was a deeply moving experience for all of us. The basilica has a rich history—it was built in the early 20th century by Father Nelson Baker, who is still honored and remembered throughout the site. The basilica also includes a museum dedicated to Father Baker’s life and legacy, where visitors can learn about his mission to serve the poor, orphans, and the sick. There are also quiet chapels, beautiful statues, and a gift shop with meaningful souvenirs and religious items. Every detail of this basilica reflects devotion, compassion, and grace. If you're visiting Buffalo—no matter your faith—this is a must-see. We left feeling blessed, spiritually refreshed, and grateful for this unexpected gem on our trip.

This is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever visited. The architecture was heavenly and the interior was so beautiful it reminded me of a church in Rome, even St. Peter’s Basilica. The church had many beautiful side altars but the main altar and the surrounding sanctuary were breathtaking. We visited this church during our honeymoon and would love to visit again! Our Lady of Victory, pray for us!!

We’ve been here before and today the dome needs replacement and the basilica is raising funds for it. It’s very beautiful inside and outside, and its history and Fr Baker’s devotion will warm your heart. If you’re in the Buffalo area, you should visit this cathedral. It’s free to enter and hear mass, there’s also a museum inside, I believe you’ll be impressed.

Absolutely breathtaking basilica ❤️ The people working there were lovely & excited to talk to us about the church's history. They are currently in the process of restoring some of the paint & plaster, as well as the dome...but still so much to admire. There is also a museum & gift shop on the lower level. Definitely recommend going to visit!

This church is huge and very beautiful. There is a 'museum' within that is quite interesting about the history of the church. I think if this is your first time here, start there, and then you will appreciate the rest of the church experience. I have to say that I was dismayed to find a STORE inside the church. Even though it was geared towards 'church-type' items, I still found it made my entire experience here more of a tourist-trap visit.

Such a beautiful local landmark, not to miss. There is a museum in the bacement with some wonderful history it is such a stunning piece of architecture and testamentof faith and dedication. They are currently restoring the dome and doing a few of other restorations to the windows, but it does not interfere with your visit at all. There is no fee to enter but I am sure they would appreciate tomations. Everyone should see when visiting South Buffalo.

Pretty darn nice park. I was impressed with the recently updated boat launch that although a little congested flowed very well. When we were recovering and loading it was very busy for a Buffalo Bill's flotilla. They had a park ranger there making sure things didn't get out of control. The docks are long and I think 4 ramps. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. After haul out they had the guy that inspects boats for invasive species and a couple garden hoses to rinse off. There was a garbage can and 4 portajohns. It did cost $8 to enter that area. I noticed plenty of walking trails and some beautiful metal art and shelters. In the harbor there are a couple of WWII Navy ships you can tour and I'm sure much more. We fished for 6 hours and did pretty well. The Buffalo skyline is also nice to look at and the Peace Bridge is also right there. I will have to go back and do some more exploration of the area.

Resurgence Brewing Company, established in 2014 by Jeff Ware, is located in an old warehouse on the West Side of the Queen City. The spacious taproom features garage doors and skylights that allow plenty of natural light, with communal tables indoors and a popular outdoor patio.
We held a Celebration of Life for my Mom this past Sunday in the upstairs portion of Resurgence. The experience was seamless and easy from start to finish. I worked with Conner, and he was incredibly helpful and efficient in getting the celebration set up, organized, and arranged—despite the fact that I reached out only 2-3 weeks in advance. On the actual day of the celebration, the workers and bartenders were so kind, helpful, and efficient. I got the charcuterie table, and the setup was beyond beautiful. Every person that came commented on how stunning and unique the venue was. For all that we received, I also found the price for the celebration to be extremely reasonable and affordable. The industrial feel with the string lights and curtains made for such a beautiful and welcoming space. My whole family was so pleased, and we really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and place to celebrate my Mom. Thank you so much!

We were treated to a wonderful tasting by the most lovely woman named Christine. She was a great ambassador for not only Resurgence, but the local craft beer industry in general! We left with a must try cider named Ghost Lantern, that has a perfect blend of smooth sweetness and a warm finish. We're hooked!

We came here before a hockey game. Packed location with nice festive vibes. Workers were friendly though they could've used one more bartender for the two bars they have. Beer was great. Wings and fried cheese curds were good. Mac and cheese had a bit too much liquid that made the dish like soup. They had a cool photo station where you can take a group pic and send it to yourself. Looking forward to trying their other beers next time I'm in town.

Good food! Great bartenders! It can get a little loud and hard to hear, but that’s what you get for the classic brewery aesthetic they have going on. Glad they changed the mac and cheese recipe back to be creamier and more delicious again!!

Came here from being out of state with my friends because I liked the logo. Really enjoyed the beer and ciders. What made our experience even better was talking with Christine who is one of the sweetest women I've ever met. She sampled us some other good beers and ciders while also giving us recommendations for other breweries to try. I would definitely recommend.

We had our small, very intimate wedding here in December - it was absolutely perfect! The staff made the entire process a breeze. We were able to take a tour of the upstairs event space beforehand, set up decor just before the ceremony, and the staff took care of the rest. The food stations were a hit and our bartenders were as kind and patient as ever. Especially thankful for the staff member who took the time to set aside a small plate of hors d’oeuvres for my husband and I since we missed out while busy chatting with our attendees. The atmosphere and picturesque architecture made our photos look gorgeous. Highly, highly recommend!!

Had my husband's 50th birthday party there in the indoor beer garden. We had about 30 people attending. The staff was very accommodating, with special thanks to Thomas and Cameron. The food was good and the drinks even better. Highly recommended. We come there often and have nothing negative to say.

Christine was amazing with her stories, insight, and those wonderful samples of what Resurgence is working on. I've been a customer for years, but finally leaving a review. Great food, amazing beer, free parking, dog friendly, what more could you ask for?

Larkin Square, situated in the Larkinville district of Buffalo, is a vibrant neighborhood hub that has transformed from an old soap company warehouse into a thriving center for entertainment and the arts. On Tuesdays, the square hosts around 40 food trucks, drawing in a large crowd to enjoy delicious food and socialize. Additionally, visitors can explore 'Elevator Alley' on kayak tours to witness the historic grain elevators along the waterways.
Fun atmosphere and space! Have been here for multiple events, food truck visits, and it’s adjacent to Bratts Hill by Chef Darian! Awesome stop for a family or uniquely romantic date night.

This is a lovely place to go with family and friends. There are food trucks, buy drinks, live music, seating, or bring your chairs. It's quite an enjoyable time.

Great food, wonderful ambience. There is plenty of parking but the later you get there the farther you will need to park. And if it is your first time dropping by make sure to bring your own chair, seating is limited as well. If you don't bring a chair you will be standing while you are trying to listen to the music, balancing your drink, all while trying to eat your food.

The concert was great. The weather was perfect. They had a few food trucks and some places to get beverages. The crowd was peaceful. It was a wonderful Buffalo evening.

Free live music, various food trucks (the smokehouse was really good), a bar. What more could you want.

Super fun location with lounge chairs and multiple levels. At the time I went there was nobody there, but in general there tends to be quite a bit going on. The chairs are modern and comfortable. The one I sat in had a large trampoline like seat. The lounge chairs would be really nice to have at a location like canalside, since the view here is not anything too exciting (in my opinion). Excited to go back when a few more things are happening.

Nature & Parks
Erie Basin Marina is a stunning riverfront park and marina located in downtown Buffalo, New York. It offers manicured gardens, a lakefront path, and a lighthouse for visitors to enjoy. The marina features a private marina as well as public parks and gardens with an observation tower. There are also top-notch restaurants where visitors can dine while taking in the beautiful waterfront views.
We had a good experience here. Staff was friendly and helpful. The staff tries to keep only the dockers past a certain point in the parking lot. Public restrooms but showers have a code for dock holders. Each dock has a key fob to enter. So many things in walking distance from here. Food, museums etc. Music at the food stand. Gas and Diesel, pump out available. We like things in walking distance. They are open to transient boats. We would definitely stop here again.

Nice views and great spot to catch a sunset. Fuel available for boaters. Not as active this year with COVID19 closing the Hatch & adjacent restaurant. Templeton Landing open just outside if the entrance. Cruises available close by. UPDATE: Caught a storm rolling in on what started out (30) minutes before as a beautiful, hot sunny day. Capsized (2) small sailboats with strong 40-50 mph winds. Fortunately they were rescued.
M. K — Google review
It was pretty nice to walk down by the water. We got to see boats sailing by and a beautiful sunset. Only turn off was the number of people there to get high. Otherwise it could be a great place for an evening stroll at sunset.

Erie Basin Marina is a marina located in Buffalo, NY. The marina offers a variety of services for boaters, including dockage, fuel, and boat repairs. The marina also has a boater's lounge and a ship's store. The marina staff is friendly and helpful and provides a high level of customer service. The marina is well-maintained and offers a safe and secure environment for boats. The docks are in good condition and the water is clean. The marina is conveniently located near downtown Buffalo, providing easy access to the city's many attractions. One downside to the marina is that it can get quite crowded during peak boating season, which can make it difficult to find a spot to dock. Additionally, the marina is not open year-round, it closes during the winter months. Overall, Erie Basin Marina is a great option for anyone looking for a safe and convenient marina in Buffalo. I would recommend visiting during off-peak season to avoid the crowds and make sure to check the marina's schedule for opening and closing dates. If you're looking for a unique experience, check out the Erie Basin Marina's boat rental options and take a tour of the Buffalo River and Lake Erie.

This place has been part of my life since I was 4 and it won't stop being that way. Park at the Marina and walk it down from the tower down to Canalside. May not be much but it's a place to watch the lake you're coming to.

André D — Google review
The location of the marina is very good. The physical condition of the docks is average to poor. Aged, rotted and worn. With a WSW winds at 20-30 mph, the water surge into the marina was intense. It is not a very weather protected location. Be sure the gates to the docks are locked for your safety because of the type of public individuals hanging out nearby. The gate to our finger was inadvertently left open and a guest to our boat was approached by hookers roaming the dock. Not good. The fuel dock service is very slow.

Diner
Breakfast restaurant
This 1937 diner was restored and moved to its current location in Larkin Square. It offers the best breakfast foods in the area, with a breakfast menu that includes scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, pico de gallo, and tortillas. The diner is popular on weekends, so arrive early to avoid waiting!
My wife and I came here today after hearing about it a few times. The hype was right! I got the corned beef and hash plate, and my wife got the French onion poutine. We finished off with the mini donuts. Everything was delicious! On a Saturday afternoon we were told there was a 30 minute wait but we ended up getting a text that our table was ready after only about 8 minutes. The place was very busy but the staff was attentive and everybody seemed in a great mood. Staff were happy, some were dancing or singing as they worked behind the counter. Whole place had a pleasant vibe. The donuts were our favorite. We went with the classic flavors, and the donuts melt in your mouth. We will definitely be back

What a surprise this little dinner turned out to be. We figured it would be a nice experience to eat in an old school dining locomotive, but we didn't expect the food to be excellent! The hash was outstanding, the omelette was packed and not overcooked, made to order fresh cider donuts with chunks of apples, and even freshly made jelly for it today! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Yep.

Wow what an amazing experience we had! Just looking from the outside this diner looks vintage…. Then you go inside and you’re blown away. Super busy but the staff were so kind and efficient. Service was amazing and the servers were very attentive. Food was out of this world! Milkshakes, Stuffed Burrito, Eggs Bene, Pancakes … you name it and it is most likely 10/10. Really enjoyed this place and the prices are very fair. Can’t wait to be back to enjoy everything else on the menu!!

Stopped by the Swan Street Diner on a whim while in town. Pleasantly surprised! The building is immaculate, super cute with a great story! Menu is great; lots of choices. Food was delicious and the staff was warm and welcoming. The only downside for us was how loud the space was. Between customers eating and talking, the noise of the kitchen and the background music it was a lot. But, we could see from where we sat the take out window. Genius idea! The owner and staff have thought of everything! Will be back!

Super cute cozy diner! My wait time was extremely long as I did walk in around brunch time! It does appear to be a popular amongst locals so I would recommend a reservation if at all possible. Food was delicious. Coffee was good. They were pretty slammed on the day that I came and visited them, but overall it was a good experience. I did have a hiccup with an order item, but I think it was definitely our error in the mixup! Patrick was awesome.

Went for a brunch meeting and I got the smothered burrito which may not look very appetizing in pictures, but was absolutely delicious! also got a glass of orange juice on the side, which was fresh squeezed and very refreshing. To go, I got some other popular mini donuts and then assorted bundle, which were a tasty treat later on to have. It can definitely be a little busy and somewhat tight inside of here, but the food is worth it and the service is excellent.

Eating in an old school diner is the best! We waited about 45 mins on a Saturday morning to get seated. They do text when the table is ready so you can wait outside. The corned beef hash is made there which is amazing and the coffee is so good! I am never disappointed eating here!

Italian restaurant
Family restaurant
Chef's Restaurant is a beloved Italian eatery that has been serving up hearty comfort food and delectable desserts since 1923. Located on the outskirts of Downtown Buffalo, this establishment is a popular choice for families and friends looking to enjoy homestyle Italian fare. The menu features an array of classic dishes such as stuffed shells, veal scaloppini with spaghetti, chicken broccoli Alfredo with fettuccine, and their famous spaghetti Parmesana.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Buffalo Classic That Lives Up to the Hype! We had an incredible meal at Chef’s in Buffalo, NY, and it absolutely lived up to its legendary reputation. The spaghetti parm with meatball was out of this world—perfectly cooked pasta smothered in gooey, melted cheese and topped with a rich, flavorful meatball. We also tried the sandwich parm, and it was just as delicious—crispy, hearty, and smothered in that unforgettable red sauce. Speaking of the sauce—it was the real star of the show. Bold, savory, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. You can tell it’s a family recipe perfected over generations. The portions were generous, the service warm and welcoming, and the old-school Italian-American vibe made the experience even better. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Chef’s is a must-stop. You won’t be disappointed!
Baiba G — Google review
The food is delicious and large portions. It is understandable why this place is so popular/has such a cult following. The spaghetti parm here is amazing. I got a small portion and it was still huge. You can ask for plain sauce if you are vegetarian. I thought the fact their napkins can be worn as bibs was hilarious but it's also practical. The walls are covered with pictures of famous guests and it really adds to the unique atmosphere. You can also buy their sauce, gift sets, and napkin/bibs here.

Excited to find this cozy friendly restaurant with gluten free (Celiac approved) lunches! I totally enjoyed the Spaghetti 🍝 Parm with meatball, gluten free rolls, side salad & sherbet. Tasty and Large Portions- good value for the $$. Popular spot, they offer reservations. And even have frozen take out in a cooler available.

I love places with history and this place being over 100 years old has tons of it. All the walls are flooded with celebrity photos so it’s great to see how many people throughout its lifetime have visited. Service was good and we didn’t have to wait much for a table. As for the food, we were very disappointed, it is just not good Italian food, barely so so, I wouldn’t go back for the food but visiting the restaurant is an experience.

Gino & Joes Pizza is a casual food-court spot known for its extensive menu of New York-style pizzas, slices, and calzones. Customers rave about the top-notch quality of their food, particularly praising the flavors and skill in pizza-making. The thin crust is a standout feature, and their homemade sausage receives high praise for its delicious crumbles on the pizza.
Finally a great pizza spot serving excellent quality pizza back open again with a new location. Love the new location because it's roomier than the old location with a better view while eating inside. Always a variety of pizza to choose from but I stick with the classic cheese or pepperoni slices that have never disappeared yet. So definitely check them out for a quick bite downtown Buffalo. A plus for the downtown area

Great NY style pizza. Had pepperoni and bacon. Pizza's are pretty made and warmed to order. There was big line but by the time you paid pizza was ready. Limited options but I get it its busy. They have a nice sample of options. Size just right perfectly foldable. Sauce was just enough not so much to make a mess and not so little that your searching for flavor. Perfect amount of cheese and toppings. All employees working hard and appears to be working and communicating well. Nice open atmosphere with plenty of seating. Keep up the great pizza!!

Brunch restaurant
Patina 250 is a trendy restaurant in downtown Buffalo that offers gourmet global cuisine in a modern urban setting. The establishment prides itself on using locally sourced, fresh ingredients to create innovative dishes. Their brunch menu features refreshing options like watermelon and feta panzanella and hearty choices such as crispy chicken and waffles or chorizo tostada. Known for its upscale ambiance, the restaurant also offers bottomless Bellinis during brunch.
We decided to come here last minute the morning of Monday 02/10/25 as a way to celebrate our 1-Year Anniversary for our marriage along with our two boys. Karen our waitress (ironic name given the circumstances) was phenomenal. Firstly the free valet parking was a nice touch and a great coincidence for the occasion. As I arrived earlier I noted that the cheery hostess took my coat and put it away and handed me a redemption ticket (very nice). As I got seated Karen came over and introduced herself, placing a hand drawn happy anniversary card for us on the table which was great! After I explained the situation to her Karen was gracious enough to play along and I had her take the jewelry I bought my wife and tuck it away so she could bring it out later when I signaled. As my wife arrived with our boys I noted the exceptional kids menu set for my oldest and the awesome coloring activities they had including the premium crayola crayons they provided as well. We haven’t even gotten to order the food and this place already blew us away. We ordered the food and all of it was to DIE for! Karen comped our Champagne for us, put on a great show for delivering the jewelry and even the desert at the end came with a nice little sparkler stick trick. Throughout the night she was wholly attentive and aware of our needs even while managing the other tables. The food was absolutely 5-Star quality and the decision to put the chefs names on the menu was an appreciated touch. Clearly this restaurant knows what its vision is and what experience it aims to provide and they execute it on a whole nother level. 15/10 we will be back! Thank you again especially to Karen! Please give that lady a much deserved kudos and a raise! -The Vorhis Family

Seating was quick on a Friday evening 8pm. Waitress Ruth was kind and welcoming. Quickly to refill drinks. Three chefs at the open kitchen were in sync with each other. Great to watch them create the dishes and team work with smiles. Dinner was exquisite. We shared the rolls, blended butter was a perfect start. Baby gem salad well tossed with just the right amount of dressing throughout. Rigatoni was superb. Has a little spice kick which we loved.

I had a wonderful time at my birthday brunch!! The food was delicious and the service attentive without interrupting. I'm not sure when I'll be back in town, but I want to come back already!! My favorite was the stuffed French toast. This is an actual, untouched photo that I took. It was even more delicious than it looked!

Pretty good for room service but a bit pricey compared to the overall food quality. The buffalo cauliflower was excellent and the pasta was very good even though it was a bit salty. The fingerling potatoes were flavorless as were the Brussel sprouts. The pierogis were just plain bland and overcooked. Our rolls were hard like when you put bread in the microwave

Relaxing Lunch Experience I had a lovely lunch at Patina 250. The restaurant had a calm and sophisticated ambiance, perfect for a relaxing midday break. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, and the food was excellent. It's a great spot for a leisurely lunch with friends or colleagues. Patina 250's Grilled Chicken Bowl is a must-try! The flavors were incredibly vibrant and fresh. I loved the variety of textures, from the crisp romaine to the creamy hummus and feta. The grilled chicken was tender and juicy, and the lemon vinaigrette tied everything together beautifully. It's a healthy and satisfying lunch option. The presentation was also lovely. A great experience overall!

If Notre Dame football were a brunch, it’d be served at Patina 250—timeless, high-powered, and executed with championship precision. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was walking into Notre Dame Stadium on game day: classy, electric, and ready for something special. I started with a whiskey—smooth, bold, and full of depth, just like CJ Carr under center. Each sip had the confidence of a 3rd and long conversion in the fourth quarter. Then came the Bottomless Mimosa, which set the pace like a well-called opening drive—bright, crisp, and impossible to put down. Then came the playmakers. The Pastrami & Hash was the kind of dish you build an offense around—thick-cut, smoky pastrami layered over perfectly crispy hash. Every bite was packed with flavor, like a power run behind a dominant O-line. It had grit, balance, and left nothing on the plate—Brian Kelly would’ve called it “assignment correct.” But the real Heisman moment? Brioche French Toast. Pillowy-soft, golden on the outside, and subtly sweet. It had the finesse of a 50-yard pass to the corner of the end zone. Topped with syrup and powdered sugar, it was a sweet victory on every level—Rudy-level feel-good. Patina 250 isn’t just another brunch spot. It’s Notre Dame-level greatness. The attention to detail, the bold flavors, and the flawless execution reminded me of those unforgettable Saturdays in South Bend. This is food made with heart, passion, and just the right amount of swagger. Like Marcus Freeman building a powerhouse, Patina 250 is crafting something special—one dish at a time. So if you're a Fighting Irish fan—or just someone who appreciates excellence—this is your spot. Halos all around. 🥃🍳🍞🏈☘️

Modern art museum
The Buffalo AKG Art Museum, formerly known as the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, has recently undergone a major transformation and expansion. The museum now features an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art in its renovated 1905 Greek Revival building as well as new gallery and community spaces. Visitors can admire works by renowned artists such as Picasso, Warhol, Monet, Stieglitz, Rodin, and Arp.
I recently visited the newly expanded Buffalo AKG for the first time in years, and it was such a joy to return! The renovations are stunning — the new spaces are bright, modern, and incredibly welcoming. I was thrilled to see so many of my old favorites still on display, though I was a little sad to see that the iconic "Mirrored Room" is no longer part of the collection. It was such a unique and immersive experience. That said, there's so much to explore, and the new additions more than make up for it. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours here — it’s easy to lose yourself in the art. And if you need a break, the Wilson Town Hall atrium is a gorgeous place to relax, grab a bite, and soak in the architecture. Highly recommend a visit!

Awesome varied collection. All sorts of styles were represented, well displayed. Every room we walked through had a museum employee to answer questions. There's also an interactive area for children (it was Lego, so I stopped and played too). Looks like new exhibit areas are coming too. Nice flow.

We had a great time visiting the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, especially taking advantage of the free admission on the first Friday of the month. The atmosphere was fantastic — peaceful, inspiring, and perfect for exploring art. The architecture of the museum itself is beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Inside, the collection of art is truly impressive, with a great mix of contemporary and classic pieces. It’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, and we’re looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommended!

Never disappoints! The AKG is where I was first inspired by art, and it’s priceless to see that light shine in the little ones I now bring there. Creativity is ALIVE here, through excellent curation, community interaction, and convivial staff. The building is so well designed and has the most beautiful park views in Buffalo. Pro tip: head to The Terrace afterwards (a restaurant right across from the back entrance by the lake) for a more relaxed meal and cocktails than Cornelia. There’s a beautiful view of the original museum exterior from the restaurant and you’ll walk amongst some outdoor sculptures on your way.

Had a bestie date here to specifically experience the Yayoi Kusama exhibit: One with Eternity. The exhibit was so much fun and an awesome interactive experience. Beautiful museum, and I appreciate the on-site parking also! I plan on purchasing a membership soon especially with winter coming so I have a reason to leave the house and what better reason is there than art?!

Incredible museum. No spoilers. A must visit for locals and visitors. The staff is friendly and ready to answer questions. The restaurant Cornelia offers a dynamic menu, and you can order at the bar if you prefer to eat under Common Sky (canopy of glass and mirrors). The enclosed glass walkway and the Gundlach building are stunning additions. The bathrooms are always clean and classy (the doors reach the floor, a nice upgrade for a public restroom).

This is a great art museum with a lot of really beautiful and fascinating pieces including a lot by famous artists. And while I didn’t quite understand and was very confused by some of the more avant-garde pieces, I still quite enjoyed checking it out. Definitely worth giving a look if you’re an art lover or know someone who is.

Nestled in Buffalo, NY, the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site is a remarkable Greek Revival house that commemorates a pivotal moment in American history. This museum marks the location where Theodore Roosevelt took his oath of office as the 26th President following the tragic assassination of William McKinley in 1901. Visitors can explore its expansive grounds and delve into fascinating collections and artifacts that highlight Roosevelt's life and presidency.
This is a very informative historic site. You will learn a lot about Theodore Roosevelt and his presidency. They use extensive multimedia technology to tell the story and make it very engaging for young and old visitors. The house is also lovely. Spend some time exploring the trivia games they are fun and you will learn things you didn't know. We arrived an hour early for our booking and were able to bump up to the earlier tour. Thank you Connor for a great tour!

My husband and I visited here on August 7, 2025. We took the guided tour and then walked around the museum on our own. It’s a very nice museum about when and why President Teddy Roosevelt was sworn in as President. This is the site were was sworn in, not where he lived. There was also history about Buffalo and the Pan-American Exposition (Worlds Fair).

What a cool historic site in Buffalo! The museum here is quite cool. And standing in the same room that Theodore Roosevelt stood in when he became president was surreal. The tour was great and the guide very knowledgeable!

It is not necessary to get tickets beforehand though at times there are online discounts. Nice historical site that is very well maintained inside and out. Free parking around the back of the building. Clean facility. Worth seeing this piece of history. No free WiFi.

While I didn't get an official tour, we enjoyed the little bit we could see! Highly recommend getting a tour in advance! The history is well presented and the place is well kept!

Just a few blocks from downtown Buffalo and the famous City Hall building…what a unique national park! Sad circumstances made this place historic, as the assassination of President William McKinley made Teddy Roosevelt the next president of the United States. Sworn in at this home, this place is as much a historic place for Roosevelt as it is a memorial for McKinley.

Don't miss the opportunity to see one of four presidential inauguration sites outside of DC. The home is well preserved, air conditioned and the tour is enjoyable. We did not buy tickets in advance and were able to join the next tour starting after we arrived. There is free parking behind the house.
Kelly H — Google review
The tour felt very gimmicky. We were "time travelers" walking through the house with fake smells and sounds. There were some edutainment displays they set and an ai hologram TR that kind of worked. We wanted to learn about the occupants of the house and the house's history, not just TR's Inauguration. Felt more geared towards a younger audience.

Big Ditch Brewing Company is a trendy brewpub located in Downtown Buffalo, paying tribute to the Erie Canal that influenced the city's economy. The spacious taproom offers a sophisticated industrial-chic ambiance and serves house-brewed beer alongside comfort eats and small plates.
Out of town for graduation. Our son recommended this place he visited once. Very nice clean atmosphere, large dining area with second floor. Great options on menu. Everything we had was generous and delicious. The beer selections were great and the gift shop was nicely stocked. It was nice to get a small assortment of beers to go . Our server Randi , was so good , informative and fun. Definitely would stop in again if in the area.

We were excited to find this hot spot in downtown Buffalo. The restaurant definitely had a cool vibe and the server was amazing. We tried a bunch of things including the cheese curds, chili, salmon and Cobb Salad. Everything was delicious! The cheese curds with Marinara sauce were some of the best I’ve had. The Cobb salad was huge and very fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The salmon was very fresh and tasted great with the fingerling potatoes. I didn’t love the chili, but I’m from the south and we make our chili a little differently. If you are in Buffalo, Big Dutch is a winner!

Pretzel bites were very good. Hey burner wings were delicious. Steak sandwich was great as was the beef weck. The fries were a little greasy and had skin, but more than enough of them. The Service was great. Get here early as this place gets very busy. While today is the first time eating here, the last time, we left due to a long wait. The beverage selection was plentiful. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday They open at 4pm. (Friday, Sat, Sun at 11am) CLOSED TUESDAY’s Closing time is 10pm (Except Friday, Sat at 11pm, Sunday at 8pm) There are a few TV’s and a Large Bar.

I went there with my research group and had a great experience. I ordered the lemon salmon, and it was absolutely delicious. I just felt the portion size was a bit small. Overall, the service was quick, and even on a busy day, we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated.

Staying at the Embassy Suites and looked on Google maps to see what was around. Wanted some place that also served food. This looked like a place to hit, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. WOW! Beers and food are delicious. Noticed on the TV screen they also have a Sunday brunch. My coworker, who has been all around the country, said the Brueben sandwich was the best he's had. He wants to come back just for that...and a couple beers! I had the steak fries, very good. This is some place they have here! Here for a few more days and will be back to try more!

Beer selections to appeal to all palettes. Enjoyed the flight and recommend the Dayburner. If you're not a beer-drinker, ask about their seasonal slush option...so good! We didn't order food but every plate coming out of the kitchen looked overloaded and delicious.

We went for brunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere, vibe, and service. However, the food was overly salty and the fries were cold and tasted a bit old.

We honestly can't say enough great things about The Statler in downtown Buffalo. From the moment we started planning our wedding, Erin has been nothing short of amazing. She's been so helpful, organized, and genuinely kind—always making sure every little detail is covered. We feel so lucky to have her in our corner. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The space has this timeless, vintage charm that’s been beautifully preserved, and you can really feel the history when you walk in. It’s elegant without being over-the-top, and every corner of the building has character. What’s made this whole experience even more special is how dedicated the entire Statler team is. Every staff member we've interacted with has been so kind and clearly committed to making our wedding perfect. You can tell they care about every couple and take pride in what they do. We didn’t even think twice about choosing The Statler for our wedding—it just felt right. If you're looking for a wedding venue that’s not only gorgeous but also backed by an incredible team, this is it.

Every couple should be so lucky to plan their wedding at The Statler. From the very start, working with Erin has been nothing short of incredible. Walking in, you immediately sense the rich history and beauty of this Buffalo landmark. It has clearly stood the test of time and is absolutely beautiful. Within five minutes, my fiancé and I both turned to each other and said, “this is where we’re getting married.” When you know, you know! The venue exudes charm, elegance and class. If you are looking for the place for your special day, look no further than The Statler. The entire Statler team goes above and beyond to bring joy to the wedding planning process. They are flexible and willing to work with you in every way possible to make the wedding of your dreams a reality. We can’t recommend The Statler enough and are excited for our upcoming celebration!

If you are at all interested in getting married in Downtown Buffalo, you should most certainly consider the Statler. Our wedding in June 2024 was nothing short of perfection. The care and attention that Alex and her team put into our day was more than we could've asked for. A rainy day ended up being a blessing in disguise as we were able to take photos in the venue before cocktail hour which turned out beautifully. We had such peace of mind leading up to our day, knowing how intrinsically beautiful The Statler is and it did not fail to impress. We are feeling very blessed to have hosted such an important day in such an amazing venue - thank you Alex!

Tappo Restaurant is an Italian dining spot located in a restored industrial space in downtown Buffalo. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of wines, rooftop dining with weekend DJs, and an edgy decor that includes mood lighting around the bar and exposed brick walls. With a wine list featuring 41 different bottles for under $15, Tappo encourages patrons to savor the Italian dining experience. Additionally, it hosts Jazz on Mondays in its street-level establishment and provides a vibrant atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
Great spot for summer happy hour outside! My coworkers came here on a Thursday evening on a beautiful summer day and there was a LOT of room to spread out. Great couches and corn hole in the back of the patio, and lots of tables and a bar up front. Happy hour specials include draft beer, house wine, and well drinks. They also have decent apps to split with the party, and daily specials. We split calamari and multiple people loved the Gold Rush cocktail. 10/10 recommend for either casual drinks after work or a full date night.
Jane C — Google review
We came for dinner and because we came during lent, they were serving fish fries. I had visited once before and got the eggplant parm which was very good and I wish I did that this visit, too. The fish fry itself was boring in taste but the tartar sauce did help add a little dimension. The coleslaw was good and the mac salad was great but did not have enough noodles. We got the brussel sprouts to start and they were great! My boyfriend got the meatballs and said they were the perfect texture and flavor. Our waitress was so sweet and the vibe is very open and nice. We will probably be back but will opt for their regular menu.

Portions are huge!! The calamari sauce was so good I didn't even get time to take a picture we scarfed it down. Krissia was so friendly and very attentive. The Italian sandwich was like Mississippi roast on fresh bread. The Alfredo also felt homemade.

I have eaten at many fine establishments in my life — some with Michelin stars, some with questionable napkins — but Tappo Restaurant may now live forever in my memory the way Notre Dame football fans still talk about the 1988 national championship: loudly and with unnecessary dramatics. Let’s start at the beginning. I walked into Tappo with the confidence of a Notre Dame quarterback on game day — chest out, stomach ready, maybe slightly overdressed. The vibe inside? Warm lighting, great music, and a faint whisper of garlic that could make even the most committed keto dieter throw down their cauliflower rice and weep. I felt good. This was going to be a touchdown meal. Then… the wait. Friends, when I say I waited an hour and 30 minutes for my food, I mean I waited an hour and 30 minutes the way Notre Dame fans wait for another national championship: with optimism, pain, and a lot of internal negotiations with a higher power. I had time to reflect on my life choices, re-live all four quarters of the 2012 BCS Championship in my mind, and check the wine menu 47 times. But then something magical happened — the manager, clearly a hero recruited straight from South Bend, came over and comped me a drink. Just like that, the mood shifted. It wasn’t a flag on the play — it was a perfect fourth-quarter interception that turned the game around. The wine was smooth, a little bold, and frankly made me forget that my stomach had started to question whether food was real. And then… the pasta arrived. The Alfredo pasta came out like Rudy sprinting onto the field. Creamy, rich, unapologetically decadent. I twirled it on my fork, and I swear I heard the faint sound of the Notre Dame Victory March playing softly in the distance. It didn’t just coat the pasta — it hugged it. Every bite was a warm embrace from an Italian grandmother who somehow also tailgates in South Bend every Saturday. But hold on — the mushroom sausage pasta? My God. If the Alfredo pasta was the quarterback, this dish was the offensive line, running backs, and entire defensive unit combined. Earthy mushrooms, perfectly seasoned sausage, pasta cooked just al dente enough to remind you that life is good and carbs are a gift. It was like watching Notre Dame pull off an overtime win in a snowstorm: unexpectedly glorious and slightly emotional. The service, despite the Great Wait of 2025, was genuinely kind. My server checked in, refilled water like they were running a no-huddle offense, and managed to keep my wine glass from ever being empty. Respect. Now, was the night perfect? No. Waiting an hour and 30 minutes for pasta is a commitment — like sticking by Notre Dame through those “rebuilding years.” But honestly, when the food landed, when that creamy Alfredo and that mushroom sausage symphony hit the table, it was all worth it. Would I go back? Absolutely. Like a true Notre Dame fan, I’ll keep showing up, yelling at nobody in particular, and believing this time it’ll be our year. And if the pasta takes another hour and a half? I’ll order more wine, hum the fight song, and prepare my taste buds for greatness. Final score: Tappo: 38 My Patience: 14 Alfredo Pasta: MVP Mushroom Sausage Pasta: Heisman Winner Manager Comping My Drink: National Treasure

The food was amazing! Its a little pricey, but you get a lot and its delicious! They were really busy when we went so the service wasnt the best, but they were at least nice. I recommend it. Lovely rooftop seating with a bar!
Heather R — Google review
For a pre-concert dinner before a show at the KeyBank Center, a group of twelve of us had a reservation at Tappo.. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The food was delicious. The warm bread and stuffed peppers were fantastic. The lasagna and meatball bomber sandwiches were both big hits. The pork ragu and pasta was reported tasty as well. The restaurant had a good selection of wines, with options ranging from reasonably priced house botttles at $18 (we had the California cab) to more premium options. We were seated at a high-top table, which was perfect for our group. I also noticed the rooftop area, but I wasn't sure if it was open. I've seen it busy during the winter, though (igloos). We always enjoy going to Tapo because it offers a great mix of quality food and a wonderful atmosphere.
M. K — Google review
One-star nightmare. The bartender spent more time flirting with a customer than paying attention to anyone else in the room. He seemed like he was on some sort of drugs. We waited over 30 minutes just to place an order, and then another 20 minutes to pay the bill—no sense of urgency, no apology, just indifference. The glass we were served was dirty, leaving a gritty film on the rim. Our drinks tasted awful, and my friend’s beer was ruined by a spoiled lime floating in it. To make matters worse, we waited 30 minutes after ordering our food only to find out the order never went in at all. A complete breakdown in service from start to finish. I wouldn’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal or decent service.
Tan E — Google review
The food was great. I'm old, so take my criticism of the band being so loud the four of us couldn't carry on a conversation with a grain of salt. The service was lacking. From the time we placed the order, until we got our food, was 55 minutes. There were many tables seated after us that got their food before we did. We thought booking at 5:45 with tix for a 7:30 show would be plenty. It wasn't. We had to rush eating and had no time for dessert. Would've really like to try the brulee . The waitress finally came out and said the ticket was front and center so we should get our food soon. Not sure if she forgot to put the order in. Lastly, they only brought 2 glasses for water, for a table if 4. I heard a lot of good things about this place, but they fell short. This was just my experience, yours might be different.

Osteria 166 is a popular Italian grill located in downtown Buffalo, offering a diverse menu of wood-fired pizzas, pastas, and wines. It's highly recommended by locals and visitors alike for its delicious margarita pizza and stuffed pepper risotto sticks. The restaurant is known for its warm ambiance and is perfect for enjoying a meal with friends and family. They also offer various specials throughout the week.
Osteria 166 had a great Bolognese alla paccheri. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The lemoncello cocktail is bright and refreshing. The only drawback was the volume. There was live music that was quite loud in the bar area of the restaurant, and the primary area of the restaurant was a bit too noisy for my liking. The decor and overall vibe of the restaurant were good.

We used to really enjoy this place and visited several times before COVID—it was one of the better Italian spots in Western NY. Unfortunately, our recent experience was disappointing. The quality just isn’t what it used to be. My daughter ordered a pizza, and to be honest, even a frozen one from Walmart would’ve been better. It’s a shame, because we had some great meals here in the past. Hoping they can get back to the level they used to be at.

This review is so long overdue. My girlfriend and I (with her recommendation) ate her on March 8, 2024. Upon walking in we were greeted and seated with no waiting. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. The staff was friendly and our waiters were very polite and helpful in choosing the best food on the menu. The food was delicious and cooked well. Osteria 166 will definitely be recommended to my friends and family. I cannot wait to dine here again!

We are in town to visit our daughter this weekend and chose to make a reservation at Osteria because we saw that they could accommodate her gluten allergy. Our server Courtney was so professional & accommodating throughout our entire meal. She went over tge entire menu to let us know exactly what they could make gluten-free. For an appetizer we got a Caesar salad without the croutons and the risotto bites. For dinner , we ordered the twin filet with broccolini, a gluten-free pizza with pepperoni and the chicken parmesan with spaghetti. Everything was delicious. We didn't even have enough room for dessert but we will definitely be back.

Enjoyed a lovely New Year's Eve dinner here. First, the bartenders were fantastic. Very friendly and engaging with patrons. Had the focaccia al forno while at the bar and it was served fresh and hot. We were seated 10 minutes early for our reservation. (Slight hiccup, I asked the hostess to move us to a different table and she declined saying there was a similar seating reservation at the same time. That table was never occupied until we left 90 minutes later.) Our server was spectacular. She made contact with us shortly after seating and shared the specials, but also commented on the ones she recommended. We ordered the "coccoli" off the special appetizers. This was a deconstructed app of dough, cheese, prosciutto and giardenera. It was incredible. For dinner, Mrs BP combined a salad and appetizer stuffed peppers. I opted for shrimp pomodoro. The shrimp were cooked well and not fishy or chewy. The pasta also was in just the right amount of sauce. The manager was actively assisting wait staff with food delivery and checking on patron's experiences. The decor is quant and I would highly recommend the restaurant for dinner or drinks and an appetizer if in the area.

I don't think the restaurant knows what it is or at least I definitely don't. You walk into a rowdy bar and then get seated at a romantic restaurant in the back. The service was good and they kept our drinks refilled and a very nice young man with an ankle injury was very friendly and knowledgeable of the specials. I ordered the chicken parmiangiano and my wife the bolognese. It was more acidic than I'd like and very sparse on the sauce. Slightly overpriced and table was small. I'd say probably not the best Italian food in Buffalo.

Wow, what a treat! My husband and I really enjoyed Angeline. We ordered the Prosciutto and soaked pear appetizer, steak special and ravioli special. We also got cocktails. My 1st time at this restaurant. I am told it’s the old Tempo on Delaware Avenue. There isn’t any signage, so you really have to pay attention to the address. My husband ordered Sword fish, with clams and tomatoe base. I had some spaghetti dish with Scallops, clams, shrimp and mussels. Delicious.

Food was okay! We tried a few smaller plates while catching up. Really loved the ravioli, bread service, oysters and cocktails. Tuna tartare was weak on flavor. Prices were very high compared to other fine dining locations in the area. Some items took longer than expected, like cocktails. Happy we tried it! Beautiful space!

TLDR: The Angeline staff is incredible - especially James - even though I clearly need a drivers ed refresher. I accidentally parked in the small staff lot, got flustered, & didn’t feel safe backing out (out-of-towner driving a family member’s car). Stressed before dinner even began, I asked the team for help. James (the GOAT) not only drove me into the right lot but did so with patience and kindness. What could’ve been perceived as a Karen final boss moment was met with understanding, humor, and genuine care from the whole staff. Great food is ubiquitous if you know where to look but hospitality & warmth like this is rare. Thank you, Angeline team 💖 I'm so appreciative. P.S the food is also incredible

Service was excellent, our waiter earned a$200 tip that was very appropriate. The food was very good. I had heard from a regular from Hutch's, that also owns this restaurant that the food was a bit pricey - but not as good as Hutch's. My opinion, food is a bit pricey, so don't forget to bring your bank, but the food was excellent. I've eaten there when it was Tempo, and the atmosphere was a little different. Great location, near downtown Buffalo. The tables were a bit close, which reminded me of the old Hutch's, but the ceilings were high, and you didn't feel like you were having a front role seat, listening to the nearby table's conversation. The portions were plenty, as nobody ordered dessert 🍨, except for me. I got my dessert to go😋 Last point, the broiled oysters were amazing as well as its presentation. Overall, our group had an enjoyable evening and I would highly recommend. Hutch's is still my favorite go to, and when people from around the world visit Buffalo, always in my top 3 recommendations, but Angeline has the potential. I'll have to visit a few more times to let you know.

Elite. It’s truly elite and one of the finest restaurants in Buffalo no question. The wine list is top notch which is really refreshing. I ordered the strip steak with potatoes and it was excellent. Cooked to perfection. 2 of my colleagues got the Lamb’s neck which they said they really enjoyed. 2 of my other colleagues got the filet and we’re kind enough to give me a bit and it was excellent. The atmosphere and wait staff were also truly top notch. We ordered a clam appetizer which was really unique and tasty as well as some spicy beans which were also excellent. For dessert member of my table got the olive oil cask with an orange burnt gelato. It was pretty good and different. Our table also ordered the cheese cake, tiramisu, and I got the affogato. Nice! We went early around 545 and it was quiet which was great! I have been told that it can get pretty loud when it’s busy. It’s expensive but, not dramatically more than other top tier restaurants. A welcome addition to the Buffalo dining scene!!!!!

The restaurant, which opened in 2015, quickly gained popularity for its artfully crafted cocktails and flavorful cuisine. The ambiance is described as intimate with touches of greenery throughout the space. While the focus is on meat dishes, the chef also offers thoughtfully prepared vegan options using fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients.
It was my first time here and everything was delicious. We were going to a show after and we were able to find street parking easily. We got the potato appetizer, thinking it would be small and we could split it - only to be greeted by a huge bowl of fried potatoes! Not a bad thing at all. We also shared the pickle pizza which was phenomenal, I love the crispy, crunchy, Detroit style pizza. The wine was also delicious, we both had the Lambrusco. I came with my mom but will definitely be bringing my husband back!

The food was absolutely amazing! The menu was small but offered both vegan and non vegan options. I played it simple a ordered the burger, the crispy potatoes it came with were addicting, and the burger was cooked perfectly! My husband ordered the white pizza, it was THE BEST white pizza we've had here in Buffalo! Deep dish style, thin slices tomatoes and onions, and the outer layer was nice and crispy but still light and fluffy in the middle. We can not wait to visit again and try other items on the menu!!

Was excited to go for dinner tonight with my husband and sister. We ended up ordering a clam pizza and cheese pizza. I felt the cheese pizza was lackluster, and bland, with not enough cheese. My husband liked them both better than me or my sister who said the doughs were too dense. The spicy cucumber salad and Caesar salad were great though.

A BEAUTIFUL space with good food. We got the rice cakes, cucumber salad, and pakora and enjoyed each flavorful dish. The real starts are the cocktails, which are incredible. A must visit in downtown Buffalo.

Food and drinks were impeccable. Personally had the vegan style pizza and added pepperoni (dairy allergy). It was some of the best pizza I’ve had in over a decade. All the drinks were so interesting and the flavors were so complex, the bartender Meg is truly a treasure and SO talented. I usually hate alcohol/drinking in general but the flavor profiles were so interesting and complex. Didn't even have time to take pics of the meal bc I was so engrossed in how good it was. Atmosphere was casual, people were generally dressed nice but don’t have to be. Music was upbeat but not overpowering. Lighting was dimly lit but not dark. Had an amazing time! Thanks to all the staff, but real shoutouts to Meg.

My party and I were all so genuinely surprised and pleased with our experience at Marble and Rye last night. It was our first time and we had a good feeling about it but could never have anticipated just how much it would surpass any expectations! I actually appreciated the food menu being small, you can tell it is thoughtfully created and everything we had was so delicious and well made. The cocktail menu is where things really start to shine though. Such intentionally curated combinations that I never could have imagined that work so well together! It was so fun to try different ones and experience the way the components complimented each other so well. And the service? Attentive without being overbearing, consistently anticipating our needs before we needed to seek out anything. The ambience was beautiful and relaxing, from the colors to the lights and the music. And Meg! Such a sweet, caring, TALENTED soul! As much as I would love to gate keep this place if you have found this I urge you to go!

Great ambiance and wonderful service. It is super rare that I get any kind of vegan option at a restaurant that also serves people without dietary restrictions but Marble & Rye had multiple options for vegans. What I got was *delicious*. We sat at the bar and had a super friendly and attentive waitress even though the place was full and busy. And as a cherry on top, my cocktail - the Bonded Pair - was stellar. I'd go back there all the time if I lived in town!

Food was top notch, and service was even better. We were there early on a Monday night, and the server made some great recommendations for our cocktails when we asked questions. My daughter has dietary limitations, and they were extremely accommodating with her needs as well. If you are looking for innovative entrees and favorite cocktails with a creative twist, this is the place to visit.
