Puerto Aventuras in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Puerto Aventuras, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Puerto Aventuras is a small resort-marina community on the Riviera Maya, located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Visitors come for its calm Caribbean beaches, sheltered marinas, and easy access to snorkeling and diving on nearby reefs and cenotes. The town offers sailing and sportfishing excursions, a golf course, and a compact, walkable center with restaurants around the docks. It also serves as a convenient base for day trips to sites like Tulum’s archaeological zone and eco-parks such as Xcaret and Xel-Há.
With favorites like Makito Japanese and Thai Restaurant, Nauti Burro, and Dolphinaris Akumal, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Chez Waffle and Pelican Point so you can get the best taste of Puerto Aventuras while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Beach
Outdoor Activities
Playa Xpu-Ha is a stunning beach along the Riviera Maya, known for its clear turquoise waters and wide stretch of white sandy shore. The beach offers a relaxed atmosphere with restaurants, bars, and live music from morning until night. It's less crowded than other nearby beaches, making it perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility by the sea. Families and couples love the shallow waters and variety of water sports available, including snorkeling and kite surfing.
Beautiful beach and if you go a bit further out you can literally have the beach to yourself which is a nice escape from the crowded beaches in Tulum. Unfortunately there was a lot of algae so we didn’t go in the water a lot but still a very nice experience!
Andrea P — Google review
The beach itself is beautiful, you can see fish and the water is transparent. They charged 100 pesos per person at the entrance. To rent a chair you will need $400 pesos. A huge problem is that there is robbers that go walking all around the shore robbing the people that go swimming, at first they come close to you, stand around you, and then they assault you in groups. I watch this robbers steal the things from 2 Italians and a girl that had 2 dogs. They took their things and throw their cellphones and wallets into the forest. Be careful and please go in a big group and never leave your things unattended!
Blake J — Google review
Our favourite beach in Playa by far. The entrance fee is 60 pesos per person. The sand is so soft, the water was clear and beautiful. I saw a sting ray and plenty of fish while snorkelling. The restaurant itself is near the beach, but the tables are right on the beach. It’s a bit pricey when it comes to the food and drinks. We rented an umbrella and two chairs for 400 pesos. Absolutely beautiful during sunset.
Julaine H — Google review
Simply stunning. The water is lovely and clear and the beach is perfect for relaxing. This is one of the best beaches in Mexico and a true paradise.
Tibor B — Google review
Entry cost 70MXN per person, children under 3 are Free and if you go by car you get fee parking. The restaurant there close at 5pm but the beach still open till 6pm. It’s a very nice beach with clear water and white sand where you can swim and rent your chilling place. Showers are available too and the area looks fantastic with the palm tree 🌴. I recommend going there
Hussain A — Google review
awesome beach, not very crowded. you can get some drinks and bring with you there to enjoy it the most. to get inside you something like 300 pesos per person, worth it.
Babak B — Google review
Lovely beach. Drive down the second road entrance if coming from Tulum end and it's 50peso per person, you're given a yellow wristband. Park just ahead of the beach clubs and it's free. Come early and get a palm tree for a blissful beach day!
Daniel W — Google review
Pros: The beach was nice and relatively clean. It was OK to swim. Cons: The entrance fee was 80 pesos/ person vs 50 peasos/ car last year. Too long time to wait for food.

Ecopark Kantun Chi is a hidden gem in the jungle of Riviera Maya, Mexico. It boasts a collection of unique cenotes and underground rivers that were revered by the ancient Maya as sacred wells. The park offers the Magical Waters tour, which allows visitors to explore five cenotes and visit a Mayan shrine. With its variety of flora and fauna, it's an ideal destination for adventurous activities like kayaking, swimming, and exploring underground caverns.
FANTASTIC experience at Ecopark Kantun Chi. We did the Grotto experience which includes a guided tour to all of the cenotes as well as the cave experience where you swim and walk through the cave. Rene was our guide and was outstanding! He pointed out numerous types of birds and lizards during our tour, answered all questions that we had. The restaurant is delicious, drinks, food, all of it!! I got the pork and it had great flavor! Incredible experience and you have access to the cenotes after your tour if you want to spend the rest of the day there. The entire park is beautiful, shaded, and endless paths to wander and explore. Definitely a must do if you are in the area!
Melissa C — Google review
Truly a spectacular collection of cenotes. We did 4 cenotes while we were here and it was a great experience. They have a restaurant on site, which is really convenient. Showers and changing rooms included. A beautiful spot in the middle of the jungle.
Steven O — Google review
We had a private tour for 8 people. It was about 4 hours and included a full meal. If you go with a group, only rent 1 locker because they are huge. The grounds are lush and beautiful. There is a LARGE variety of wildlife to see on your small touring walk. I especially loved the history lesson we received on each cenote throughout the day. We purchased our tickets in advance. Those of us who have our residency received a reduced rate and buying the tickets in advance afforded our guest a nice discount. When we walked up, the were waiting for us and immediately stated our party's name. If you can't swim, no worries, the life vest are PHENOMENAL! Make sure you bring water shoes.
Dr. P — Google review
This was our first time visiting a Cenote, this place is so peaceful and we just walked around and followed the path to different cenotes. You could kayak and/or swim in one if you prefer. It was a fantastic experience being with nature and what nature had to offer. Definitely an experience you should not be missing when in the area.
Ajo G — Google review
My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Kantun Chi Ecopark! We did the guided tour of the cenotes + the underground cave and would highly recommend the full package as it was definitely a magical experience! Our guide, Rene, was fantastic! We spent about 4-5h there and got to swim in 3 out of the 5 cenotes during the tour. You also get free time after the tour to explore the park if you want to revisit some of the cenotes. As someone who can’t swim very well, I felt comfortable following along and they provided a life jacket, mask, and snorkel. Lunch is also included and we loved the ambience and food at the restaurant!
Cherry — Google review
We couldn't decide which cenote to visit in the area because there are so many and the guided tours seem to take you to all the same ones! Kantun Chi ticked all the boxes for us, there is 5 different cenotes, caving, great facilities and fantastic food! All of which are included in the full package which we would definitely recommend. This place was the highlight of our holiday in Riviera Maya. Beautifully kept, not too busy and welcoming!
Craig T — Google review
My wife and I just went on this magical guided tour of Kantun Chi. We really enjoyed our experience! Our guide, Jose Carlos, was so helpful and engaging. His excitement for the Eco-park was inspiring, it really created a comfortable experience for the both of us. We definitely recommend giving it a shot if you’re up for some adventure. The underground river is a bit more adventurous, so if you fear tight spaces, it might not be for you. Overall, it was a beautiful step into a piece of culture and nature.
Anthony P — Google review
This place is absolutely incredible! I came across it online while searching for a more local experience, and wow…. this ended up being the highlight of our entire trip. We purchased the tickets directly online. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff greeted us and provided outstanding customer service. Our underground tour began right away after we were given life jackets, then our guide took us to explore three stunning cenotes. Lunchtime came around and damn..!! It was a complete surprise, I was expecting something quick or similar to amusement park food, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The meal looked and tasted like it came straight out of a 5-star restaurant. It was delicious! After lunch, we continued visiting the cenotes and were amazed to find that we had each one completely to ourselves, as most other guests had already left the park. It made the experience feel even more magical and peaceful. Note: The park does not offer transportation. Don’t get ripped off by the hotel taxis. We were being charged $1,200 pesos each way. So we walked to 5th avenue and took a colectivo for $40 pesos each. You can even take a taxi here they are way cheaper. It drops you off directly in front of the location. From there you can walk to the entrance. On the way back we walked to Barcelo hotel and sat in the bench that is located there. The colectivo ($40) picked us up and brought us to Playa Del Carmen where we took a taxi ($100).

Dolphinaris Akumal offers an unforgettable experience for those looking to connect with dolphins in a beautiful setting. Visitors rave about the friendly atmosphere and the delightful interactions with these intelligent creatures, making it a highlight of their trip. While some may find the pool area on the smaller side, the overall ambiance is charming and enjoyable. Many guests appreciate how well-treated the dolphins are, ensuring that both adults and children alike can enjoy this unique adventure without any worries.
My family had a great time interacting with the dolphins and learning more about them. I attempted to buy my tickets online but for a date and time after our departure. I wasn’t able to get in touch with anyone by calling, whatsapp, email, nada. We visited after our arrival to the resort and were able to change the date without any issues. No jewelry, (lock them in your safe) and no sunscreen. Take your ID… not sure if it was because I paid online. Entrance fees are expensive and photos are ridiculously priced. Especially to be emailed… 8 for $149 or all for $249. They will be the best and are great photos since there is no way someone on the sideline could get good videos due to placement & vantage point in favor of their photographer. The dolphin experience is worth the memories though, which are absolutely priceless. My teens loved it.
Errin L — Google review
This place can seem to be luxury and interesting, but all of this is nothing when you realize the main attraction is having animals inside a small container. I hope who is reading this do not support these activities and place until there is a change.

Honest review here it goes If you’re looking for dolphin experience or encounter… GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. First to start, they say they allow you to take pictures they basically don’t they have these bushes to cover the people taking pictures and the only opening they have to take pictures in between the bushes they shoo you away. So I stepped back and the photographer lady wanted to stand in my way PURPOSEFULLY. so then after when they wanted me to take my son to interact with the dolphin they didn’t even allow me to stay outside and take pictures on purpose they made me bring him in and stand there waiting while phone in hand not being able to take a video of the dolphin with my son Long story short go somewhere else these people are extremely money hungry and the whole package charge u cheapest 120$ and No photos included 1 single photo they tried to charge us 40$ the staff is mostly unfriendly even when we was about to leave my son grabbed a dolphin toy and the guy took it from him and said if the toy falls on the floor I have to pay for it extremely bad experience 1.5 out of 5 stars real honest review You can see the photo here down below mind you she doing is on purpose not even taking a photo at that moment
Deebo D — Google review
I'm very neat experience. Although I wish that they had more information on the dolphins or someone there who could answer questions about the dolphins. The trainers seem to have a real connection with the dolphins and the dolphins are happy and cared for. It's very cool how you can observe the dolphins at any time of day. Even when they are not doing your enrichment or private sessions with guests.
Courtney B — Google review
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my profound disappointment and deep concern regarding the conditions in which dolphins are kept at the Delfinario located within the Barcelo Riviera Maya resort. My recent visit to this facility was deeply disturbing and left me with serious questions about the ethical treatment of these intelligent and sensitive marine mammals. The enclosures housing the dolphins appeared to be shockingly small and shallow, offering what seemed like an incredibly restricted and unnatural environment for these animals. Observing them in these confined spaces was distressing, and it is difficult to imagine how their physical and psychological needs can possibly be met under such circumstances. Dolphins are known to be highly social, wide-ranging creatures, and the limitations imposed by these small pools seem inherently inhumane. It is my sincere hope that Barcelo and the operators of this delfinario will seriously reconsider their practices and prioritize the welfare of these animals. The current situation appears to severely compromise the dolphins' quality of life and flies in the face of growing global awareness regarding the ethical treatment of captive marine life. I urge those responsible to explore alternative solutions that would allow these dolphins to live in a more natural and spacious environment, ideally in a sanctuary that can provide for their complex needs. The entertainment of tourists should not come at the cost of the well-being and suffering of these magnificent creatures. I implore potential visitors to consider the ethical implications of supporting facilities that maintain marine mammals in such conditions. By raising our voices and making conscious choices, we can advocate for a more compassionate and respectful approach to these remarkable animals.

Great experience. Knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend booking your excursions in advance. First booking of the day is best as there will be less people in your group. Photos are a little pricey.

Dolphins are well looked after and there was a huge focus on education and preservation of the oceans and the aquatic life. My children were so happy for the incredible opportunity to learn and experience these beautiful creatures 💕

Beautiful place to explore at Puerto Aventuras, a great option to walk through the jungle, passing cenote and jumping into clear ocean water! It is private, but you can walk in or ask for access. Mention you are visiting La Caleta, and the security will give you. Bring some drinks and snacks for you to enjoy a full day at this gem of the Riviera Maya. We invite you to enjoy it with us! With your partner of the family!

The path shown on Google Maps is not correct, the entrance is a bit further down the street through the jungle, maybe 10 or 20 meter after the construction site. Take the first path into the jungle on the right side of the street and then keep to the right. We could snorkel a bit, no sargasso, but the sight was a bit foggy, I'm sure it will be better in a few weeks. Enjoy 💛 We saw many fish and even a stingray.

Chez Waffle is an adorable eatery located at the end of a charming street in Puerto Aventuras. The portions offered are substantial, so it is advisable to order accordingly. The food quality is excellent as well. One can begin their dining experience with a delightful cappuccino and a smoothie consisting of peanut butter and banana, both of which are highly enjoyable. As for the main course options, there are both keto and traditional waffles available.
This is such a great place to find in Puerto Aventuras! We felt so welcomed when we first walked in and there’s great seating inside or a beautiful area outside. Lots of choice on the menu and the food tastes amazing! The pictures really don’t do it justice! We also had a milkshake which was delicious! Highly recommended going here if you get a chance.

I went this morning here to have breakfast. The chilaquiles with eggs and red salsa were a 20/10 I think by far the best I have in a few years in Mexico. Also the place is nice, actually it is really nice, the view on the water in the back yard is beautiful. Friendly and attentive waiters. Great place, I will for sure come back

We went from Cancun to Tulum to Bacalar and now we are in Puerto Aventuras for our last stop and I can say this is the best place/hotel ever. We rented a golfcar because it is like a luxery resort place. You are very safe here and the beach is the prettiest I have ever seen. For this price and service it is 5 stars and it will make your trip to Mexico go to a higher level!

Adorable restaurant situated at the end of the prettiest street in Puerto Aventuras. Portions were huge so order accordingly. Quality was great too. Started with a cappuccino and peanut butter and banana smoothie, which were delicious. For the main course we had a keto waffle and a traditional waffle topped with boneless buffalo wings. The keto waffle did not taste good, but the toppings were delicious. You could probably get the same toppings on a traditional waffle and it would be fantastic. The traditional waffle with wings was great. It had a drizzle of their homemade ranch on top, which was fabulous. Next time I will order a side of ranch as well. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I really like this place.

Seafood restaurant
Pelican Point in Puerto Aventuras is a standout restaurant known for its warm welcome and fresh fare. The owner, Guillermo, is not only knowledgeable but also entertaining, leaving visitors eager to try everything on the menu. The Caesar Salad for two is a must-try, prepared tableside. Accessible via a public footpath with some overgrown areas, the restaurant offers beautiful views and well-maintained beaches.
A Must-Visit in Puerto Aventuras: Pelican Point Restaurant Excels Again! Pelican Point never disappoints! I had the pleasure of dining there again today, and it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. For starters, I dove into the mussels in white wine. The flavor was absolutely incredible – a perfect balance of savory and herbaceous. The clams in their shells were equally delightful – the freshness shone through in every bite. But the real star of the show was the centollo crab for my main course. Spectacular doesn't even begin to describe it! The preparation was flawless, allowing the crab's natural sweetness to take center stage. To top it all off, I finished with a decadent chocolate mousse. It was the perfect ending to a truly memorable meal. This wasn't my first visit to Pelican Point – I first came in 2016, and it's become a must-do on every trip to Puerto Aventuras. The quality of the food is undeniable, and the flavors are truly mind-blowing. But it's not just the food; the service is outstanding as well. Guillermo, the owner, was fantastic – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Expect to pay a premium for this kind of quality, but it's absolutely worth every penny. Pelican Point is a culinary gem in Puerto Aventuras, and I can't wait to return for another incredible meal on my next visit!

This place was fantastic! The service was phenominal! I pulled my hand fan out because I was very hot and the (possibly owner or manager?) came and brought a large fan and directed it towards our table without us even having to say a word (it was very refreshing). They had a live saxophone player and they brought cute little flower clips for all the women (it was almost Mother's day). I had some of the best food I had in Mexico here. The rolls they serve before dinner were all different types to satisfy many pallettes. They had vegetarian menu options and one vegan option but could be served a few different ways. I had what I would equate to fettuccine alfredo and it was wonderful. We also shared a dessert which was delicious and had a dessert coffee (also delicious). I normally remember the names of the food/drink but it took me a month to write this review. I had a hard time finding it again on Google Maps but this experience was so wonderful I wanted to make sure they got this review! I will also shout out the gentleman that served us was so wonderful and accommodating, I would highly recommend this place to anyone! I will mention, this is a very nice so expect to pay for it. It is definitely on the higher price spectrum but you get what you pay for!

I usually don’t leave reviews but this was extremely bad, worst place we have eaten at in PA so far. It’s so pretentious (trying to be french?), and expensive for what it is. The tuna steak was cold, 5 fries that came with it were also cold and weren’t cooked fresh (looked a few days old), boiled green beans - also cold. The place was empty (makes sense) and smelled of sadness and bankruptcy. Just go eat somewhere else.

Everything is wonderful. Guermo, the owner takes pride in his menu and each ingredient. He is extremely knowledgeable and inviting. The care and expertise that he portrays should be envied be every restaurateur.

Whilst spending 8 days in Puerto Aventuras we tried many of the best restaurants. There are many good options but, standing out far and above the rest, was Pelican Point. After being warmly welcomed by Guillermo, the host and owner, he brought refreshments and proceeded to explain the fresh fare and preparation. He is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and left us, mouths watering, wanting one of everything. We started with the delicious Caesar Salad for two, made tableside. Next we had two of the three fresh catch entrees, Wahoo and Grouper. These dishes, prepared as recommended by Guillermo, were exceptional. There were also excellent shellfish and meat / poultry choices on his extensive menu. Excellent bar with a great wine and cocktail selection. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Great ambience with marina views. Highly recommend Pelican Point as one of your finest dinner choices in PA!

I only walked here using the public footpath (a bit overgrown in places) approaching from the west. There are signs stating this is private but apparently this only applies to the furniture. Beautiful spot. I walked on the big rocks all the way to the point. Not much to do here if you're not staying as a guest but the beach is beautiful and well maintained.

Great place. Very cozy and classy at the same time. Beautiful music. Exceptional service and food. Very nice owner and overall experience. Wide selection of daily catch and raw seafood.

Tourist trap. Expensive menu for what they offered. Owner/Manager/head waiter is a charlatan.Took about an hour for the food to arrive. One party member asked for their lobster to not be spicy, came out as the spiciest thing on the table. Others asked for fish and it was overcooked and inedible. Ordered a dirty Martini and somehow came out with chili in the brine undrinkable. Don’t come here it’s not worth it like most places in this place.

Dolphin Discovery Riviera Maya offers various packages for interacting with dolphins and manatees. The encounter package allows visitors to touch, hug, and kiss the dolphins, with life vests provided for non-swimmers. Guests can also feed lettuce to the manatees and enjoy a buffet with a decent variety of food. However, some find the photo prices expensive. Pre-booking tickets online can save you money, and the website is user-friendly.

I wish I had done more research before booking this experience. What I thought would be a magical encounter with dolphins turned out to be DEEPLY DISTURBING. These incredible, intelligent animals are confined to small, artificial pools for the entertainment of tourists. They spend their entire lives trapped, unable to swim freely, explore, or socialise as they would in the wild. Dolphins are highly intelligent mammals who swim up to 100 km a day in the ocean. In captivity, they are often kept in tanks barely larger than a backyard swimming pool. Their natural sonar, which they use for navigation and communication, bounces endlessly off the walls, causing stress, confusion, and even psychological trauma. Some captive dolphins are seen floating listlessly or grinding their teeth from anxiety. What makes it worse is that these animals do not choose this life. Many are captured from the wild in violent hunts, separated from their families. Others are bred into captivity, never knowing the ocean at all. Either way, it is a life sentence in a concrete tank. If you love dolphins, please do not support this industry. Every ticket sold tells these places that it is okay to keep exploiting animals for profit. There are ethical alternatives, like seeing dolphins in the wild on respectful eco-tours, where they are free, not performing tricks for fish. I left this place feeling ashamed and heartbroken. Please do not make the same mistake I did. Do your research. Choose kindness over curiosity.

Located on Puerto Adventures. Very clean location. There is a lot to do and see. Plenty of food and shops around. There are also numerous pharmaceutical stores.

2025-July We booked the Royal Swim Plus for $3448.50 MXN each, which included dolphin, manatee, and sea lion interactions—plus a catamaran ride (which we never received). Transportation was an extra $300 MXN, and we paid a $100 MXN animal interaction tax at check-in. Animal encounters were amazing, and the trainers were knowledgeable and kind. However, the photo package was misleading—$2200 MXN only covered dolphins, and we were shocked to be charged an additional $80 USD for manatee and sea lion photos. Also, our photographer was unpleasant- even the other family noticed it. In addition, the water, although warm, was full of seaweeds. Buffet food was poor—dry chicken, brittle rice, and bland fish. Total cost was approx. $7550 MXN (~$400 USD) for 2 people. Despite the frustrations, my child had a great time with the animals. ✅ Great dolphin, manatee, and sea lion experience ❌ Poor food, misleading photo pricing, no catamaran ride Hope this helped.

Getting booked ahead of time for a large group was a headache. We went with a small group 5 years ago and it was very easy in person and much less expensive per person. I suggest going in person last minute instead of booking online, even if it's a big group. For the tour itself, the staff was great! They were helpful, informative, and obviously love the animals. We did the biggest package and saw dolphins, manatees, and sea lions, which was wonderful. A lot of the focus is getting pictures, which I don't love. If you want photos included, you should try to negotiate that price before you start. The picture prices were $40 per photo or $550 for all.

Super fun. Second time we’ve done this but this time we took our kids. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t tell me over the phone that you had to be 54” for the sea lion interaction. That’s the main reason we booked it because it was dolphins plus other encounters. I paid for it but my daughter couldn’t enjoy the sea lion. They told me to look at the website before coming which wasn’t helpful. Also, pictures are $85 per PERSON. I think it’s helpful to know that when you budget.

Pizza restaurant
Restaurante pizzería Casa Sofia Puerto Aventuras is a charming Italian restaurant and pizzeria located in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. It offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, including vegetarian options. The restaurant is known for its excellent service, table reservations, and outdoor seating with a lovely marina-front setting. Casa Sofia has gained a great following with several locations in Playa del Carmen and Tulum due to consistently serving fresh and tasty Italian fare at reasonable prices.
Food and service was spectacular. I was very impressed with how our server was so contentious of our needs! Judith was so kind English is not her first language but she did amazing at explaining things for us and helping us have an incredible dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant on her service alone! We had the fried platter with shrimp, calamari, zucchini and carrots with a spicy mariners and it was so delicious! Then I had the Mexican pizza and my husband had a steak. Both were perfectly cooked! We had ordered a brownie with ice cream that I didn’t love. They noticed and immediately offered a replacement. We allowed them to substitute with more ice cream and they still took it off the bill. Service like this is missed in most places I go and this is above the top customer service that made me decide to take the time to write this review. Thank you!

One of the best, authentic Italian restaurant in Mexico which I had chance to try. Very good quality ingredients. Very fair pricing! The only thing food could be improved . Neopolitana Milanese was very thin chicken fillet and to much bread. The best part is that You can eat and enjoy watching DOLPHINS swiming just in front of Your table!

Located in the popular Marina Commercial restaurant district of Puerto Aventuras and overlooking the always fun and exciting Dolphin Discovery Riviera Maya habitat, Casa Sofia brings a quaint little bit of Italy and a whole lot of delicious Italian cuisine to this fantastic beachside community. Just steps from the perfect white sand beach and Puerto Aventuras Beach Club, Casa Sofia does not disappoint in delivering excellent service, very reasonable prices, and a wonderfully diverse menu chock-full of perfectly executed dishes. Despite being one of the most popular restaurants in the district, they were able to accommodate our party of 15 with fairly minimal lead time (with a reservation). Though walk-ins for smaller groups of up to 4-5 were easily seated, to be safe and to avoid any delays I would recommend reaching out and making a reservation. The thin-crust neopolitan pizzas are outstanding, and are our go-to whenever we’re in the area (the margherita, capricciosa, Mexican, diavola, and carnivore are all highly recommended, and I’m sure the rest of the offerings are equally fantastic). The lasagnas (the meat, mushroom and cheese, and vegetarian) are all delicious. The salmon, black & white lobster, shrimp & scallion, artisanal wild mushroom and angus arrachera ravioli are all outstanding. The Mediterranean salmon in a tomato, olive and caper sauce served with potatoes was a revelation. From the pasta offerings, the puttanesca, amatriciana, correntina, montanara, boscaiola, pesto basilico, carbonara and mari e monti were all excellent. Quick, friendly, efficient and informative service with helpful suggestions and flexibility in accommodating dietary-restriction substitutions. Coupled with a wide range of beverages, starters, salads, and non-pasta or pizza entrées make this a restaurant experience that will not disappoint. That being said, the crusty Italian bread provided with the meal and as an informal starter with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar was a little inconsistent - make sure to ask them to toast it for you. All in all, wonderful - and definitely scratches any Italian cravings you might have. Highly recommended.

This is a fabulous place to eat—expansive menu and very fresh ingredients. Outdoor dining right next to a canal with dolphins. The food is some of the best we have had in the Puerto Aventuras area and the head chef himself stopped by to make sure we enjoyed our meal. My husband had the Sea Ravioli, which was fresh and “the best dish” he’s had in our week here. I got a caprese salad and the mushroom and cheese lasagna, which were both full of flavor. Highly recommend!!!

I got the linguini with shrimps, mushrooms and truffles... 10/10. Perfect portion, great service, and the atmosphere... I mean... there's dolphins in the laguna, next to our table!!! Glad we found this gem, we'll be back!

This place is really good and the view at night it’s pretty awesome!!! I think I like this place better than the one in playa de Carmen!! But both are good options, I’ll recommend this one for sure, because after you can go for a good I cream and walk around the little plaza, is small but the light and the dolphins make that moment magic!!!

This restaurant is A MUST! I was in an “All-Inclusive” resort, and I preferred to eat nearly every single day at Casa Sofia. Food and service are magnificent! Ivan took care of us like family, such a genuine and careful person, and the chef himself had a closed conversation with some of the patrons. We got Carpaccio, Pizza, Risotto, Spaghetti Nero...you named it. Everything was so balanced and delicious that the hardest part of us leaving Puerto Aventuras was the fact that Casa Sofia is staying and we were leaving.

Golf club
Tennis club
Puerto Aventuras Golf Club is located near popular attractions such as the Mayan village at Coba, the ruins of Tulum, and various adventure activities like zipline tours and ATV jungle tours. The course offers an interesting design with decent fairways but some teeboxes are not up to standard. Despite signs of disrepair, the $62 fee for 18 holes with rental equipment is considered good value compared to other courses in Riviera Maya.
Even though we were staying at the Hard Rock hotel down the road, we ventured to this golf course because we brought our clubs and wanted to play. The greens were beautiful and considering it is a 9-hole course, everything was very well-maintained. The small restaurant attached to the clubhouse has excellent service, amazing margaritas, and delicious authentic Mexican food. We would probably travel back to Mexico to go and play at more places like this.

Lots of wildlife to look at while you golf! Make sure you bring water, it gets hot! I would recommend golfing in the morning or evening. They only have 9 holes so you cannot do an 18 hole course here. It's very easy to lose balls so buy extra! The course is not very big so if you stray off course your ball probably is in someone's yard. You can rent clubs and carts here and you can purchase alcohol to bring with you while on the course. We had a great time!
A H — Google review
Interesting course that wins you over with its design. Fairways are decent, but teeboxes aren’t up to standard on all holes. A lot of details suggest a course in disrepair. USD62 for 18 holes and an old, worn rental set on a pull cart is good value, especially compared to other courses on Riviera Maya. Lots of wildlife (capivar, iguanas, tropical birds). Be aware access to the town the course is in has a checkpoint on entrance, which can delay your arrival significantly. The course is nestled in between lots of holiday homes without netting.

I am not happy.I have been provided with misinformation regarding prices for my 16-year old son and his friend - being told one time they can play for half of the price of an adult and then later being told that they are considered to be adults and therefore need to pay adult prices. My son has a golf membership at home which we pay slightly more for than the cost of one game at Puerto Aventuras.I have told him he could play and now had to tell him he can’t.I am very disappointed. They are NOT adults and therefore shouldn’t be charged adult prices.
Louise G — Google review
The course is OK if you like pedestrians crossing the fairways with strollers and bicycles!!!! Families were actually playing in the sand traps!

Will run and manicured for a nice little 9 hole course. Even got to see a monkey cross the fairway in front of me!

Puerto Aventuras Water Sports offers a variety of thrilling activities to make the most of your beach getaway. You can hop on a jet ski, ride a banana boat, or kayak through the waves. If you prefer a more leisurely experience, sailing on a catamaran or parasailing might be for you. The azure horizon provides an unparalleled backdrop for windsurfing as well.
Great dive shop and guides. Highly recommend. Found them online and came down with a buddy to do some diving. My friend was doing his open water dives through PADI referral course and I was certified and just along for the ride. We dove with Alex for two days and it was wonderful. I loved listening to him train with my buddy and picked up some good ideas and reminders from him. He was an excellent instructor and we were lucky to have him. In addition to instructing, he knew the area like it was his backyard (which it kind of is) and he took us on some great dives. Would dive again with Alex in a heartbeat. After finishing the open water dives we did two Cenote dives with Casar. He was another excellent DM and guide. We felt fully comfortable and safe with him and he guided us through the cavern giving an unforgettable experience. We had a blast and loved diving with him. Also got to talk to the owner Ken for a bit. Great guy who clearly cares about who he hires and doing it the right way. Highly recommend this shop. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best dive shop we’ve ever used while vacationing. They had the best customer service and truly care about their client’s experience. Alex was great with helping to plan the week beforehand. When we got to the shop for our first dive, Carlos and Rocio were able to answer all the questions we had and explain what the 2 dives would be like. Rocio was our dive master during all 6 dives and she showed incredible care for our well-being and safety. She is also super knowledgeable about diving Cozumel, Puerto Aventuras, and Playa del Carmen. We can’t wait to come back and dive again with this company and crew! Thanks so much for the memories, Hannah & Chad

Great dive shop, and a great quick dive. Took a last minute dive with these folks, and ended up being the only one aboard with the guide and 2 boat folks. They stayed true to their word, and ran the boat anyways! Decent dive. Wish I’d booked a few more.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed getting our padi open water certifications with Dive Aventuras. The staff were very friendly and the equipment was in good working order. I can't say enough good things about Carlos, he was so friendly and informative but kept a calming demeanor that made the learning experience extremely comfortable. We had a great time diving and can't wait to come back.

PAWS was so accommodating - I walked in at opening and they were able to set up my fiance and I for a Discover SCUBA and a Refresher for a certified diver the same day. The price is fantastic, and instructor Alex made us feel very comfortable and was very accommodating for the different experience levels. He was a great teacher for the beginner and gave the more experienced diver the instructions to improve their diving skills. During the dive a sea turtle swam right up to us, we saw a huge moray eel, and many beautiful fish and coral a short boat ride from shore. Ken runs a great dive shop and I will definitely be diving with them again the next time I'm in Puerto Aventuras!

We found PA Water Sports via PADI as part of competing our certification. The entire crew was great and deeply cared about our experience! We dove with Alex and as other have mentioned it, he was great for either beginner or advanced! He was extremely helpful, knowledge and patient with my wife! The dives were in front of PA and the reefs were great. Would highly recommend and we will back next time we are in town. Thank you for the great experience! R&R

Excellent diving experience for our family and the family we traveled with! We dove in Cozumel four months ago but the very short boat ride needed to get to great diving near Puerto Aventuras is tops. Ken Brasted, the owner, was helpful and accommodating to our varying diving experience levels. His team of dive masters was great too. We saw sea turtles and many other lovely sea life on our dives. We will be back in Puerto Aventuras in a few months and will dive with Puerto Aventuras Water Sports again. We also rented stand up paddleboards from them and the team was "concierge" getting our boards to the beach and giving instruction.

Makito Japanese and Thai Restaurant in Puerto Adventuras offers an extensive menu featuring a variety of options, including sushi, sashimi, curries, and more. The friendly and attentive staff, particularly Fernando, provide excellent service. The food is delicious with generous portions and moderate pricing. Visitors praise the authentic Thai cuisine and recommend dishes like Pad Thai, soups, and papaya salad. The restaurant accommodates dietary restrictions such as gluten-free needs with knowledgeable staff.
After 3 days of eating our resort food & feeling so sick, we finally came here & we were NOT disappointed. The owner is from Thailand - meaning this food was AUTHENTIC! I recommend the Pad Thai, the soups, & the papaya salad! Owner is so sweet & accommodating, she made sure my friend with a shellfish allergy could eat all the dishes! I will be coming back!!!

Edgar and Angel are very attentive servers. We have become regulars thanks to them and the great food! We've had the vegan sushi, edamame, red vegan curry and fried rice. Everything was absolutely delicious every time. Unfortunately, didn't take many photos of the food. But we love it! And the view is beautiful... 😍

A great little place by the marina. Good food with plenty vegetarian and even a few vegan options. Reasonably priced and as an added bonus you can watch dolphins playing as you eat. A QR code at the table connects you to free WiFi also.

The best part of the food was edamame! The rest was pretty good but not 5 stars. We visited on the new year ever so they were busy. The veggie Pad Thai was mediocre at best. The sushi was better. The cocktails were not strong which I didn't mind.

The only thing I want to warn you about is that if you don't want to waste your money and time, don't eat here. There were only 3 of us in the entire restaurant. Dinner took a long time and when it arrived it was cold. The pad tai was cooked with ketchup-like tomato sauce (the most inedible thing). We ordered flank steak (they brought it in a very poor quality mess). As you can see in the photo, we left all the food.

Oh, and the food was incredible! Started off with a pear and Roquefort salad on the sweeter side, then had the rich and savory garlic shrimp and Iberian ham croquettes. Wine list was small but good. MUST TRY!! We drove to The Divot three days in a row to get off our all-inclusive resort. This place was an absolute savior to our dining experience in Mexico. The owners, servers and chefs were all top notch and so kind!! Within the three visits we had 3 orders of the Caribbean Lobster, 4 orders of Red Tuna Carpaccio, 2 Salmon Carpaccio, sirloin carpaccio, Red Tuna loin, Garlic Shrimp, 3 orders of Tequila Shrimp, The fresh catch Hogfish and the mini tostada with beef. Everything was so fantastic, fresh and delicious!! If you are staying in Puerto Aventuras or even within a taxi ride distance you have to try The Divot. Nothing I've tried compares to the freshly-made seafood.

Absolutely horrible food. Ordered oysters, they were obviously sitting out for a while, sent them back, they plastic wrapped them for the next victim. Ordered the paella - horrible, mushy rice nothing like authentic paella, we didnt eat it but also didnt send it back. Kids had steak fajitas - more like beef jerky, kids couldn't chew the meat. Also Ordered the Tequila shrimp, it gets 3 stars at best, also Ordered the Caribbean lobster, was over cooked on the grill. Paid our bill and went straight across the street to 081, where the food is Absolutely amazing. Ordered freshly caught Snapper and pizzas... All amazing - Moral of the post - avoid this place.... Hubby and I couldn’t help bringing our family here to let them have the full nauti experience. It felt a bit like Cheers but if relocated to a nice beach area. In no time there is no doubt that everyone will know your name and the staff will know what your usual is. We spent part of our honeymoon in Puerto Adventuras so the area has special memories for us. We spent many a happy hour at Nauti Burro and the fact that it stays the same makes it even more special. It’s a place that you can count on. A place where you can make some friends. A place where you have to bring your family so they can see what it is all about. The food is tasty and hits the spot and the drinks are all superb. The cappuccino is as good as any Italian place can make and the smoothies are a personal favourite of mine. Hubby couldn’t resist ordering the martini he remembered so well and I got two of the olives 🫒 , still leaving him with several to enjoy with his drink I challenge you to only come here once during your stay🤔.

Great live music with incredible atmosphere. We skipped dinner, but had Malbec and a latte. We have tried several bakeries, coffee shops, etc in Puerto Aventuras for lattes, and this was #1 by far. It was a little difficult to get service, but it was a busy night. Update, returned for another latte, which was made completely differently and not very good. They were kind enough to remake it for us free of charge. I am told the lattes are coffee and milk while cappuccinos are espresso and milk. We wanted espresso and switched to cappuccinos, which were better but still not spectacular.

This place had good food but has much more of a party vibe than many of the nearby restaurants. My wife thought her fish tacos were okay. My barbecued Mayan Wings were excellent but I was a bit surprised how small each individual wing was. Both our drinks tasted fine but seemed a bit watered down. The clientele at lunch on a weekday seemed to include some familiar local alcoholics. Prices were good and service was adequate.

Good food great prices and excellent service. With live music most days and the all you can eat pork ribs menu on Sunday we always enjoyed our time. Would highly recommend 👌

My friends and I went twice to Cafe Ole for drinks at the bar on the side. Antonio was our bartender both times and he was awesome! The drinks were so good, the atmosphere was chill and fun. Recommend for a nice afternoon beer or cocktail!

Even though we are in an all inclusive resort, we come here everyday. Ebo and all the guys are so welcoming they are all Such friendly lovely staff, great food and prices. Highly recommend for chilling and eating good food. AND! They have fantastic music too! Sorry, I edited because they even managed to get my son and hubby up to sing. Gutted we’re going home tomorrow

Wow we hubby and I had an absolutely super time last night when Elvis dropped in and sang and gyrated his heart out. The show was incredible and the place was packed with fans. Arrive early when Elvis is scheduled for a visit because locals know they are in for a good time and you could be left in the street, missing the fun times. We danced outside the restaurant where there is a little square and it was fun fun fun. Besides our drinks we shared a platter of coconut shrimps with cocktail sauce and hubby declared the dish to be delicious. I only managed a few of the stragglers and enjoyed them thoroughly. This place has very attentive servers and everyone seemed super happy to be there. If you are situated in such a closed gated community you had better deliver and they sure did.

Stopped in for an after dinner dessert and coffee and felt like I hit the jackpot. The cinnamon cheesecake was absolutely outstanding, and I enjoyed it even more paired with a cappuccino. Desserts are handmade by the owners wife, and the love that goes into them is apparent. We’ll try the carrot cake next time, which is the bartender’s favorite.

We were here with 2 friends in February. I ordered a burrito and it was horrible. No rice, no beans but just all meat (this was after telling me that the brisket was sold out). The owner seems to think I wanted something to complain about and I am not. I did complain to the person who claimed to be the owner, but I guess he was not. I know what I ordered and it didn't come as a burrito, not sure what it was (I even asked if the chef was Mexican and he said he was, but I'm not sure). Also, ALL the chairs need cushions as they are very hard wood to sit on and very uncomfortable. Apparently that day there was some sort of tournament and they took all the cushions and they requested horrible music (American music). This is Mexico and no matter what, play nice Mexican music. They catered to these people it seems, but don't care about their other paying customers. I won't go back anyways, but don't think because someone is posting a review, they are not telling the truth per my other review. Thank you.

Nestled along the stunning Caribbean coastline, Puerto Aventuras Hotel & Beach Club is a delightful resort that perfectly blends relaxation and adventure. This casual getaway features direct beach access, three inviting outdoor pools—including a children's pool—and a rejuvenating spa. Guests can indulge in culinary delights at three on-site restaurants or unwind with refreshing drinks at two bars. The resort's unique villas and luxury apartments are crafted from native materials, creating an authentic atmosphere in the heart of the Mayan Riviera.
We didn't stay in their rooms as the review suggests. We only participated in the dolphin & manatee attraction. The orientation was short and sweet. The instructors were bilingual which was a plus. The instructors who were in charge of our session were professional and talked to the animals with a lot of respect. They are very by the books when it comes to handling the animals in front of us. We got to touch the animals multiple times throughout our session. The only con is that they offer a free buffet with your purchase but the food is unfortunately very poor quality. A lot of the items felt like they were sitting around since the morning. Some items were very greasy and inedible. Mashed potatoes had a texture like they were made from a box. Stick to the fruit and drinks here and you'll be fine.

We are from Southern California and have been coming to PA for years. Haven't been back since the new owners took over The Beach Club. This is our last stay at PA, not because the area isn't beautiful, it is, or that the individual condos are well kept and accommodating, as they are, it is because The Beach Club "blast" music from 8am to 10pm EVERYDAY. If you are on the beach you hear a boom, boom noise all day. Even hear it in your condo and we are halfway down the beach. If we can hear their music halfway down the beach and in our condo with the AC going and doors closed, I can't imagine how loud it is at the hotel. It is our understanding that the homeowners and HOA have asked them to turn the music down so others can enjoy their home, time on the beach and surroundings. The new owners refuse to be considerate of others and continue to blast the music everyday. So sad as we loved PA.

The staff are untrained, forgetful and apparently can’t see well; my margarita arrived with not one but TWO massive dead flies and I never got my food order . .. although it’s all in the final bill. The management do not care about you having a good experience. This place sucks to be blunt. They don’t give towels after paying 50usd for a beach day pass lol. The day pass is just to get in and they do not have towels.. It’s a joke. Our guest wanted to order more drinks but we had no service. The manager was just seated in his phone the entire time.. it was more self serve with a cost. Don’t waste your money or time.

No idea about rooms but the new beach club is much improved. Service is great, but lunch menu is lacking. They should in my opinion add more beach side food. The menu for lunch is more geared towards dinner. Poolside food such as fries, fish tacos, nachos, etc for a quick bite is much better than sushi or salmon type dinners. They need to add lunch type stuff. They should also add a tv near the beach bar so we can watch sports while chilling at the deck.

We had a two week vacation in Puerto Aventuras and we found this beautiful place to spend the day at the beach. The place is fully renovated so everything is shinny and new. The beach even if we were here during sargasso season they did they’re best to keep it clean, so we were lucky enough to have a clean beach. And we really appreciate that because that was hard work! The food and the drinks at the beach and the restaurant were always served by one of the most friendly and respectful waiters we ever had, I want to give a huge thank you to Oscar, Hugo and Veronica for they’re outstanding service and hospitality! And of course to all of the other employees here. We truly had an amazing experience here, can’t wait to come back.

We have been coming 25+ years and are residents in the community. The upgrades to the hotel look more modern and appealing. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. The menu could be expanded more to appeal towards the setting. Fries? Wings? Tacos? Nachos? More options for the pizzas? Calamari? Chicken tenders? Traditional ceviche? What do kids eat when they are here? It seems that these are the concerns being brought up by other guests. The food we did have was good btw.

New hotel administration here… - If you have a room you better bring cash at the pool bar because you can’t charge on the room and need to pay right away - If you want to come for a day pass and get a 4 persons “palapa”, well it comes with 2 chairs only and without towels (bring your own 😅) - If you want to order a cocktail be ready to wait and have flies deep in your cocktail - If you order food it will be a long wait and terrible for the price charged So… just go somewhere else if you want peace and good time
Silvano M — Google review
We’ve been loyal customers of PA Beach Club for years, but sadly, we won’t be returning after our recent visit. Everything has changed—and not for the better. The menu is now extremely limited, and the service was incredibly slow. I had to ask multiple times over the course of several hours just to get a drink, and each time I was told they had forgotten. To top it off, they ended up charging me for drinks I never even received. What used to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience now feels frustrating and disorganized. Service last year was significantly better, and it’s disappointing to see such a decline. On top of everything, they now charge for the palapa even if you’re ordering food. In the past, the palapa was complimentary with food purchase. This change feels like a cash grab and really detracts from the overall experience. It’s unfortunate to say, but we won’t be back. It’s a shame to see a place we once loved lose the things that made it special

The Pub is a popular restaurant known for its extensive menu of delicious Mexican cuisine, offering generous portions and well-prepared dishes. From tempting pancakes to delightful ice creams, the restaurant also boasts an impressive selection of beverages including draft beer, pina coladas, and margaritas. The reasonable prices and interesting atmosphere have made it a favorite among many customers. Situated on the marina, The Pub provides ample outdoor seating as well as a small air-conditioned interior with TVs.
Stopped off for a couple of fruit smoothies, ice cream & banana split. Whilst watching the bottlenose dolphins. The next day we had a ribeye steak & fish & chips. Ovet our waiter was excellent, he was recommended my ribeye & he was right. It was superb. Thank you Ovet you did us a great service. Good luck in your bright future. From us, from 🇬🇧

My family ate here the most while in Mexico in March 2024. The service was wonderful and food was enjoyable. The Pub offers menu with both local/international options. Their adult drinks menu includes whiskey, wine, beer, and mixed drinks. By no means is the restaurant five-star dining but I can see why the restaurant always had many diners. I had the chicken tacos and the chicken fajitas twice during the week and would highly recommend these for the diner with a healthy appetite. Children (and adults) can enjoy the dolphin shows in the lagoon next to the restaurant.

We stayed at the nearby dreams resort and came to the Pub for beers and chips/guacamole. The dips were great and the beer was cold. 2 stars off service because we couldn't find anyone to order in the first place and same when we wanted the bill. We also found the manager awkward as he took our photo and then tried to sell us personalized shot glasses. No thanks!

Wonderful service, amazing food with large portions. They explain everything, and are willing to mix natural fresh fruit juices in pitchers. Price was fair and there was great scenery of dolphins

Really loved the shrimp and avocado salad - so much that I went back twice for the same dish! The area is expensive and this place is one of the least expensive and the portions are huge! The cerviche was also good and well served. The staff were not unfriendly but they could have been a little more pleasant, that is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Faro Puerto Aventuras is a gated community known for its marina and lovely, lesser-known beaches. The beaches offer an intimate setting, perfect for families with children to enjoy the Caribbean shore without crowds. The area is safe and requires identification for entry, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment. Visitors can take a pleasant walk from nearby resorts through the marina and market to reach the area. Additionally, snorkeling off the rocky beach provides an excellent opportunity to observe various fish species.
This place is gated community for safety. There is no charge for visitors but they will ask for Identification and records before let us in. The parking lot for beach is limited so the beach is not crowded when we were there in the morning. We feel comfortable and safe over there.

Marina Puerto Aventuras is the perfect starting point for exploring the stunning Riviera Maya. It's a hub for sailing, diving, and fishing adventures. You can book a charter with Captain Ricks Sportfishing Center to enjoy trolling, bottom fishing, or fly fishing excursions guided by experienced captains. The marina offers breathtaking views that will leave you in awe as you embark on your aquatic escapades.
We stayed in the marina for 9 days. Our experience was a very pleasant one. The highlight of our visit was the marina manager Gerardo Segrove, he couldn't have been more helpful, from restaurants to try, to tours and sightseeing. He also advised us on people to help us with technical difficulties to taxi drivers. He also helped us with our difficulties receiving a critical package from the States. His knowledge on the area and beyond is priceless. I can't recommend a marina higher. We have been cruising the Eastern and Western Caribbean for 22 yrs. This spot is tops! Thanks again from, The Lucky Dog and crew.

There are a multitude of places to eat and have fun. I love walking there but the only thing that grabs my heart is the dolphins, manatees and sea lions in captivity to entertain tourists, in 2025 that should not be allowed. We were staying at Barceló Maya Riviera and booked a private charter with Fat Cat Sail out of Puerta Aventuras. It is only 10 minutes from the resort so you get to spend your time on the water, not in a transportation van (which was included in our booking) Alistair stayed in communication with me from booking thru the end of the tour. We were asked to switch from the 46 ft catamaran to a 42 ft yacht the morning of our tour. Alistair assured me it would be a great switch for our party of 9…he was correct! We had a blast! 6 hours on the water, 2 snorkel stops and a great lunch (cheeseburgers, fantastic guac with the best chips I’ve ever had and amazing ceviche with shrimp) plus a yummy fresh fruit tray to start us off. The crew was over the top in making this such a memorable trip….fixing lunch, keeping our glasses full, guiding us while snorkeling (pointing out various fish, a stingray and even diving down and bringing up a huge conch shell for us to take a close look) and overall seeing that we were having a great day. Even if you don’t snorkel, don’t miss this opportunity to spend a day at sea! They have paddle boards and huge floating mats. You can spend your time in the sun or in the shade of the boat and still enjoy a wonderful day! We were having such a great time on the bow of the yacht, we forgot to try our hand at fishing off the back of the boat…we will remember to do that next time! Thank you Alistair and crew (Armando, Uli and “Brown Sugar”) for giving us a memory of a lifetime.

We were 22 people and none of us are olympic swimmers . They told us we will leave you in the water and than you have to swim 500 meters for snorkeling.. JUST EXPLAIN HOW and no lifeguards to protect us ... they are a big Ripp off...

What an incredible experience! We own a retreat company and hired this company for a private tour, we've hired different companies around the world for boat tours and this was by far the absolute best experience. We even extended an additional hour it was so great! The staff were incredible, so friendly and fun, they really created such a great experience. The boat, wow it was gorgeous and the food, we paid the extra for the additional lunch, do that!! The burritos were the best we had in Mexico! We will continuously use this company for any tours we do going forward. Wish we could give them a 10 star because they deserve it! Thanks again guys!

Really fun half day out on the water. Saw several sting rays and lots of beautiful fish while snorkeling, had a good meal and danced and sang along to music while motoring to and from the reef. The only let down is that we didn’t sail at all and there was plenty of wind, we motored the whole way back and forth.

Nestled in the charming Puerto Aventuras, Mexico, Jessie Gelato is a delightful gem that specializes in authentic Italian gelato. This beloved spot has captured the hearts of both locals and visitors with its commitment to quality, using only fresh ingredients for an unforgettable taste experience. With a diverse selection of flavors—including gluten-free options—there's something for everyone to enjoy. The friendly owner, Martin, often greets guests personally, adding a warm touch to your visit.
Absolutely amazing place. Lovely gentleman who was well travelled and had great conversation. The standard and flavours of the ice cream and sorbets were exceptional. Highly recommend and worth the walk to find it. Will be back again tomorrow!

Unbelievable gelato. Top quality stuff here! When I saw the price, one of two things had to be true: 1) The gelato was authentic and delicious 2) I was getting scammed I'm sure based on other reviews you've seen, I was not scammed. This gelato was worth every penny! I've taken a gelato making class in the past where I learned how important it is to maintain gelato at the correct temperature to maintain its consistency.. They do it right here at Jessie Gelato! Friendly staff, amazing flavours and generous scoop sizes! I would definitely come back here again! P.S. - the surrounding area is beautiful for a walk!

When exploring the culinary scene, one can't overlook Restaurant Latitude 20, a beloved local gem that captures the essence of Caribbean dining. Nestled under a charming palapa by a serene lagoon, this eatery specializes in traditional grilled dishes without any deep-frying in sight. Guests can indulge in mouthwatering options like fish tacos and jerk Jamaican chicken while enjoying an easygoing barefoot vibe. The best restaurant in Puerto Avenues! They grill meat, fish and vegetables to perfection! We had beef fillet one night, and had to go back because it was sooo good. The food and prices were amazing, and the waiters didn't really have the personalities I'd expect in such a fun environment. I mean, both nights we were there, the entertainment performing was incredible. But the waiters seemed miserable with no sense of humor or personality. We discovered this place, unfortunately, 5 days before we left, and we're definitely impressed by the prices and great tasting food offerings. Will definitely go there again. I hope maybe the servers were just having bad days and hopefully step up there personality's and relax a bit. The coconut curry grilled chicken was awesome. I did have a burger another night but didn't get any pictures.

This has been by far our favorite places to eat dinner since we started coming here 3 years ago. We have eaten at almost every single restaurant and I can’t believe we never thought of coming for dinner. The French onion soup is one of the best I’ve ever had (and I looooove onion soup), the Tuna Tostadas, Linguini, Mussels, Brie salad, Fresh fish - everything was absolutely amazing. It is quite a popular breakfast spot, but don’t hestitate to come here for dinner.

Super rico, mi cafe favorito en Puerto! Best coffee in town, overall everything is good. Friendly staff, great location, their bread is delicious, so it’s their breakfast! Highly recommended Best molletes!

I would come here everyday if I could because their coffee is so good and I live here for 5 months every year. But for the reasons that every time I come here the price changes. I order a double espresso with ice and some days its $75 some its $90 and when I question why its always changes (and that $90 for a dbl espresso is insanity) they have no answer.. I was also given incorrect change one time and when I brought it up kindly they continued to talk about me in Spanish thinking I did not understand. I really want to love this place because coffee is great and have purchased other pantry items, but the inconsistencies have made it really unsettling to want to go back.

Surely, the best breakfast in PA. For 2 of us, terrific lattes to start, followed by a ham & cheese croissant, potatoes, and fruit bowl w/granola & yogourt, and a crazy good avocado toast with cured salmon w/fried egg. Nice spot to sit and enjoy all this terrific food. But, don't come here if you're in a hurry. It's a slow-food kind of place.

Really enjoyed a small treat and a baileys latte on the patio under shade. Staff were exceptionally friendly.

Deadly good passion fruit cheesecake. Coffee is hit and miss, depends who makes it.

This restaurant is part of the French Bakery. We stop in to the shop for pastries or bread almost daily. They have a great breakfast menu. The dinners are prepared by Chef Mark. Everything he prepares is excellent. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
