I enjoyed a leisurely bike ride along the Loreto Malecón in mid-March 2025. It's a great place to watch seabirds and enjoy sunrise and sunset. Silhouettes of the islands of Loreto Bay National Park (Parque Nacional Bahía de Loreto) can be seen from the boardwalk. It's a short walk or bike ride from the main plaza. Very nice area!

I recently returned from a week-long trip to Loreto, BCS, Mexico, and one of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the Malecón de Loreto. Worth visiting. Very clean, modern and safe. With amazing views. At the north side there are palapas for free use, where you can swim. There are restaurants in the area. Some more hidden in the adjacent roads. The bird life is amazing. Actually if Mars had water, this is what it would look like. There is also de Marina to visit.

Both our meals were top notch with very high quality ingredients. Atmosphere was Ok, but would have preferred not having to have a view of the open kitchen. Service was a little awkward with a few different people attending to our dining experience. Nice that they asked immediately what type of water we wanted, just clued in that there was a cost associated with it when it showed up in bottles. Would like to try the patio in the future (when warmer). All in all great food, kudos to the chef and kitchen staff.

If you're here on a Sunday, do not miss the brunch. We had the breakfast buffet on a Friday and it was delicious, but on Sunday they bring out live entertainment and a giant dessert table as well as their famous pozole soup and quesadilla station. Fresh squeezed orange juice is included in the price as is coffee. Dinner is also amazing, the shrimp taquitos were the absolute best! And in hindsight, I would have ordered multiples of that for dinner. The Los olivos fish was really good but I kept dreaming about the taquitos. I found their margarita too sweet, but the smoky Testa Dura wine was a win. The lemon pie was the best of the desserts we ordered.

Breakfast buffet good. Lots of selection. We also ordered breakfast and desserts off the menu. Would recommend the Eggs Benedict, Spanish and Mexican eggs. Cheesecake, flan and brownie a la more were also well liked. If paying with credit card bring Pesos for tipping. Tipping not an option while using machines. This was pretty standard in Loreto. I wish I knew this earlier. Also warning: do not leave your food unattended if eating outside. House sparrows will definitely help themselves.

The outside is a lovely, peaceful, scenic place for breakfast. The food was great. The service was good, too - there when we needed it, but not overly attentive. We stayed for a while enjoying the environment and didn't feel pressured to move along.

I was able to enjoy both dinner and breakfast while staying at the hotel. I had the tapenade, Greek salad, Los Olivos fish with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes for dinner. The Mexican omelette for breakfast. Friendly service, excellent views of the ocean. Enjoy your meal inside (to avoid competing with hungry flies) and finish with drinks on the patio. Dinner was good, breakfast was great. All very comfortably priced and generous portions.

Absolutely amazing, food, service and atmosphere... and very reasonable price. We had dinner, two appetizers, two drinks each, each had entrees, and two desserts and ended up being $50 each. And in the very nice Mission hotel overlooking the malecon. Best meal in Loreto, don't miss it.

Made it here mid morning from La Paz and stopped for breakfast. The food and coffee weren’t bad, the service is what made the experience less than appetizing. I live in La Paz where the lack of customer service is the norm but here they definitely won. I had to ask for coffee 3 separate times, I had to ask for the check 2 separate times, thankfully only had to ask for a to go box once, and when I asked for salsa they brought the Mexican Lindo habanero bottle from Oxxo. Mind you, communication the entire time was in Spanish so a language barrier is not to blame.

We stopped here for an adult beverage this afternoon and wound up having 3 amazing margaritas each and an order of their nachos with guacamole topping, which was fantastic and provided more food than the two of us could finish. The view of the Sea of Cortez and the Loreto Malecón topped off the experience.

Probably more of a 3.75 stars. Margarita was fantastic!! Had 3 different shrimp dishes. Shrimp were good size & presentation was fantastic. Shrimp Diablo wasn't particularly spicy. Caesar salad was meh. Servers were attentive.

By far the best food we had in Loreto. The portions are large and everything we had was tasty. It's classical Mexican food, just one notch ahead of the rest. Recommend the tacos diabla! Nice service and nice ambiance as well.

My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast here. I had the chilalquiles and he had a cheese, mushroom omelette with avocado. Coffee was delicious too. Server was nice and was able to help my husband who has celiac find safe options for eating. Beautiful location just across the malecon from the water. Will definitely visit again!

Our breakfast was excellent. The chilaquiles were saucy and flavorful. The omelet con machaca y chorizo was delicious too! Our waiter, Yerico, was very attentive. They had a limited number of people inside to maintain social distancing. The ocean view was the cherry on top :)

The avacado salad was delicious as well as the sea bass with garlic preparation. But they only had one gentleman server and very slow and non-caring demeanor. Took twenty minutes to get the check and I was the last person in the restaurant. Too bad as great meal was overshadowed by deplorable service.

I passed by Orlando's Restaurante while exploring parts of Loreto by bike in mid-March 2025. The restaurant's eye-catching exterior drew me in for an early dinner. Tasty food in a nice atmosphere. Friendly service!

Delicious food and a must stop if you are visiting Loreto! Our group came here several times on our trip as it was just that good! They have great vegetarian options too - I loved the vegetarian platter.

This was our first time at their new location. I was concerned because the menu seems small. Between us, we had coconut shrimp, a stuffed chicken recipe of which I can't remember the name, and chicken fajitas. All dishes were excellent, and the margaritas were also great!

Recommended by our taxi driver. The restaurant moved across the street 3 months ago. Nice ambiance. Popular, for good reason. Very good service and outstanding food. We had the “Combination for Two”. Everything was excellent. Prices very reasonable. Returned 5 nights later. Again, excellent food and a. We had Cochinita Pibil (a Yucatecan pork dish) and the Arrachera Steak. Perfectly done. Their sauces are flavorful. Beans are very good as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed! We enjoyed the cilantro fish filet and the poblano chicken enchiladas. Wonderfully prepared, ample portions and waitstaff were friendly and attentive. We are going back before we have to go home!

If you visit Loreto, Orlando’s needs to be a lunch or dinner stop! A great restaurant with amazing food and the best cocktails (their mojitos are my favorite!) The staff is inviting and friendly- Eddie is the best! He makes sure that you have a wonderful experience!! I highly recommend!

Beautiful Mission, founded in 1697. If you’re in Loreto you must visit. So much history in Loreto. Loreto was the first successful mission and Spanish town in Baja California.

Beautiful building and gardens. Needs some maintenance. Serene service. Check out the cave painting museum next door.

A beautiful Mission is the heart of Loreto a seaside Unesco Heritage town in Mexico. It’s a wonderful Mission surrounded by the Square and many wonderful restaurants to choose from. We loved this town and walked everywhere. We exchanged Us Dollars for Peso’s at the local exchange. We checked out the Offices of Wild Loreto tours. We rode Mules on the Beach and ate and drank at the many places in Loreto soooo many good place’s I can’t mention them all just check out the pictures. Whale watching was the highlight of the trip

This is a really gorgeous church in the heart of one of our favorite places in Baja California, Loreto. It sits at the beginning of a beautiful walkway that leads out to the sea and includes a bunch of different bars, restaurants and boutiques. This is the spot to visit in Lareto if you’re looking to get an overall vibe of this place. If it’s during winter time, we’re a little jacket as it can get quite breezy, especially around sunset and closer to the water.

A great historical place to visit, you can go on a mission tour from the California border all away to los Cabos. If you really think, how, where and when they were build is just amazing

Loreto is a lovely place to visit - in terms of location, scenery, history, and genuine charm. The Mission is the heart of the city, and an easy walk from just about everywhere. Between the church and the historic displays on the evolution of the Missions, this is a must see if you find yourself in this part of Baja.

We've been here many, many times during the past two winters in BCS. I had been on a mission to find the best margarita on the rocks and my hubby has been on a mission to find the best shrimp tacos, and here we found the winner for both, hands down! We have tried most items on the menu and even the Tampequeña, which was absolutely fantastic. My personal fav are the Chuletazo tacos on corn tortillas and my hubby's fav is the garlic "shrimp to taste" a la plancha, or the chicken fajitas, both also fantastic. The food is made fresh to order, and the lovely husband and wife are a dream team, and this is our regular and favorite Loreto eatery. We highly recommend eating here, or even just for the margaritas and homemade taco chips and salsa. 🥰

Authentic, freshly prepared dinner with comfortable outdoor seating. This place is a true family restaurant - everyone pitches in to give guests the sense of being welcomed in their home. Had the enchiladas con pollo with salsa verde and they were incredible. Ate the shrimp tacos too fast to take a photo but damn, they were outstanding.

My wife and I stopped in here on our last night in Loreto for some burgers and margs. The woman and her son were very friendly and the food was excellent.

What an incredible experience and family who own this place! My wife and I looked for the best reviews in Loreto and found Jr's & George's. We went on our last night here, on a Tuesday night and were the only customers, and still treated like family! The food was amazing, steak and lobster cooked perfectly, along with the sea bass. But here's the inside scoop. George and his wife are some of the very best people you will ever meet! They use this restaurant and their service to honor God and serve everyone as their neighbors! They are Kingdom minded Christ followers who give all glory to the Lord! Couldn't have asked for a better experience in Loreto!

The food was delicious. We got the catch of the day which was sea bass. We had it prepared on the grill and we asked him to recommend the sauce. He did a chili and garlic sauce that really took it up a notch

Fresh fish and produce, Outcome: great flavors and condiments. Love the fish tacos. . We have been patrons of George’s over the years, at each location. The food is very very good and the family warm, friendly and very kind. The service and prices are excellent. The atmosphere cannot be beat. Clean and fresh with a view of the Sea of Cortez. Highly recommend.

Great food & very reasonably priced. We went there for breakfast this morning, we ordered coffee, Agua Fresca (piña) & two gorditas (one chicken tinga & one mushroom). Everything was delicious & under 200$ pesos, it was perfect for us. Most of the patrons eating at the restaurant were locals that made it feel like more of an authentic experience. Seems like they do a ton of to-go orders too. Also their salsa was so fresh with a nice kick! We will be going back!

We had an amazing time at Gorditas Loreto! I got the sincronizadas which was like a quesadilla with ham and was delicious! We also had a chicken quesadilla, bean and cheese Gordita, and a chicken Gordita, and it was ALL AMAZING. Prices were very fair, Gordita’s were 25-35 pesos, and a quesadilla was 60 and very large. You need to try this place!

Delicious food. Vary tasty gorditas and guisados. Everuone really and nice and profesional. Excellent setting, and clean. Atmosphere i rated a bit low because it was super hot outside. Thebagua de melon is a 😍😍😍😍😍

Excellent food and very friendly help. We always appreciate when people go beyond taking our orders and help us to learn better Spanish and make the best choices for our meals. Gorditas, tostadas and everything else were perfect. The tables and bathroom were clean and you can wash your hands as you walk in. This makes me believe that the staff is also very clean.

Loreto is such a beautiful little town and we stopped at Santo Cielo Cocina Gourmet for lunch. Francisco was our server and provided insight on the menu. We ordered margaritas which were excellent. We then ordered the sea bass tacos which were salty and fishy tasting and not our favorite. The chile relleno was covered in green sauce and had no egg batter yet a chile just smothered in green sauce. Another disappointment. The margaritas, chips and guacamole were stellar hence the 3 star score and the service and ambiance were good as well. Once again the City of Loreto is a beautiful spot when traveling.

The place was very nice, the live music was nice, there weren't many people literally it wasn't that busy. Only 3 tables with people. we ordered something to drink, Which took too long to have our drinks. I ordered an octopus and after a while, the waiter came to say he was sorry that there was no octopus, so I ordered something else. My husband ordered some breaded fish tacos and after a long while, he came to say that he was sorry that there was no breading for the fish, that he was going to grill them, To which we told him ok, well, it's fine, but they were terrible. After asking for the bill, it took a long time to get it and on the bill receipt it said, suggested tip and it was added to the total. When it came time to pay, the waiter asked if we were going to give a tip and by mistake, we put yes, but then we clarified what it was that was already on the receipt to which she said it was only a tax, but a tax is not entered as a suggested tip. The credit card machine had no paper. So he couldn't give us a receipt. The service was really, really, really terrible. Too bad for the place, it's nice and you can have a good time, but the service leaves a lot to talk about.

It was tasty but the portions sizes are horribly small, even not enough for a kid. I complained immediately to the server and he brought another portion of fish and it's the only reason why i gave 5 Stars. We all went to the grocery store after to get food. The live band was great there was heated areas. I wouldn't come back, because when i spend 32$ on a meal i don't want to have get food afterwards because I'm still hungry. Also they only take Visa or cash, that's annoying be aware, everyone has MasterCard nowadays, for the price you charge for the food you can afford MasterCard come on.

Excellent place to enjoy the view and have a great dinner. The quantity of each plate it little but with good flavor. However, the chicken fajitas were a lot! More for a child hahahaha. i ordered the grilled octopus, it tastes great but it was a little hard to cut and chew. The service great!! Every employee was very polite. My daughter wants to return to have dinner ☺️

The atmosphere here is amazing. The live music was perfect for the spot and very enjoyable. However, food was a disappointment we ordered a lobster molcajete. Have been in La Paz for two months and didn't expect it to be half the size and twice the price. The lobster was over cooked, one Napoli do, one onion, huge pile of cilantro on top and the molcajete had part of the side broken out. Very disappointing.

The food was pricey and a 75.00 US bar tab for a total of 175.00 US dollars for dinner and drinks was much more than I expected for Loreto The Chipotle Shrimp and crème sauce vegetables (carrots) and Rice were ok

We stumbled upon this place when we were running errands around town. Service was excellent & very welcoming. We had some great margaritas. Fish & shrimp tacos were good! We got the specialty clams as a starter. It was a lowkey dinner for us & we were pleasantly surprised.

Very cool bar (the bar is an old boat) and great prices! Food was very tasty and margaritas were excellent. Apparently they have live music some days, and the staff was all very friendly and helpful! CASH ONLY.

Super disappointing. Went for margaritas and ceviche. We were the only people in the place, due to it being only 4pm. The margaritas were super sweet and didn’t seem to contain alcohol. Just meh. The ceviche was basically fish, onions and cucumber in Clamato juice. Not very good at all. They served it with a couple saltines (which I don’t care for but not their fault). We’ve had better ceviche and margaritas at 3 other places in and around baja over the last 6 weeks. The prices were more like American prices as well which was disappointing.

The food was good and the service was extraordinary. They didn't have any Dos XX even though it was on the menu, so my husband decided not to order a drink. Five minutes later the gentleman (owner) came from down the street with Dos XX for my husband. Now that's what I call great customer service.

So, there were 2 waitresses and 1 cooking, the hamburgers were assembled and put in a microwave, it was all bought, from A to Z, and didn't even try to hide it, got served after 50 minutes with 3 packets of creckers, in the box... It was all so just fake and without taste (luckily). Tried to paid with card and didn't accept it, paid with dollars and after 10 minutes got the change back in pesos... (440 pesos change (20$) with a 68$ meal.

The food is good, we got the Chocolate clams served fresh and the shrimp tacos. The service was quite bad, the lady didn't know anything about the menu and she got my drink order wrong. But decent food for good price

I think I've gone to class heaven. The almejas ajo (garlic) are phenomenal! Service is friendly and prompt. Love this place. I've only done cocktails here so far but everything on the menu looks amazing.

Arrachera super burros were delicious and enormous. Worth the 250 peso price. I ate mine over two sittings. Surprisingly, the flan was also unreal! I don’t even really like flan but it was the best dessert of the trip! Highly recommend.

Server speak English. They provide English menu too. Went on Sunday night around 7:25pm, only two table left. The best chicken burrito I ever had. The grilled chicken has a hint of rosemary. It’s really tender and juicy.Super burrito is giant, 2 people can share one. The steak is good too. I can’t wait to go again. They accept credit card too.

I love in Ca so eat alot of Mexican food this hands down is some of the best food period we've eaten there 3of our 6 days in Loreto might eat there again before we leave. My son wants to take a burrito home on the plane idk if we can but will tey!! Lol great food, Arracherra is 🔥 🔥 🔥

Burros as big as your head. My wife had a quesadilla and it was also delicious. It's a great spot to get a bite a rest in the shade. It's very clean and the people are super friendly.

Huge burritos! The chicken was juicy and very tasty. We didn't like the beef one, it had a lot of fat and was hard to chew. Prices are ok for Loreto standards.

Great experience! Customer service was really good, and the food was amazing! We ordered a Chicken Burrito with Cheese, and a Steak Burrito and my gosh, those burritos were really big! Definitely caught us off guard! Without doubt, for what you're paying for, you're getting a lot! Only thing I didn't like was how hot the place was, and it was very quiet as they had very dim music playing. But the food was too good that I eventually didn't mind it. All in all, I strongly recommend checking this place out! It'll be worth it. They are taking the appropriate measures due to the pandemic, and they accept both cash and card! No parking lot but plenty of parking in the street right in front.

This is a cute place off the main street that is a must try! The burritos, tacos and flan were delicious. The arrachera meat was so juicy and delicious, I wish I could come every day. Take into consideration that the chefs in the kitchen are working hard to cook this delicious food and it takes time. If you are in a rush or impatient, do not come and leave them a bad review because of your ignorance.

Great little place. The atmosphere had a cool vibe. The omellet was good, however no butter for the bread. We asked for salsa, they forgot. Good coffee.

Hidden Gem in Loreto - Pan Que Pan Tucked away in a cozy corner of Loreto, Pan Que Pan is a delightful find once you step inside. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with charming décor that makes you feel right at home. Although the music was a bit too upbeat for an early morning visit, it didn’t overshadow the overall pleasant experience. We ordered breakfast, and both dishes were fantastic. My wife enjoyed a vegetarian omelet, while I opted for the "House"; a hearty chorizo and cheese omelet. Both came with a side of fresh avocado, queso fresco, refried beans, and toast. The toast was a bit on the burnt side, which my wife actually prefers, so it worked out perfectly. The bread basket of pan dulce was another highlight, with each piece tasting fresh and delicious. Service was friendly, though a bit stretched, as our server was quite busy, and we had to flag him down for coffee refills. Despite that, the overall experience was delightful. The prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food and atmosphere. If you’re in Loreto, definitely give Pan Que Pan a visit. Just keep an eye out for it, as it’s easy to miss. You won’t be disappointed!

Pan que Pan has great food at reasonable prices my only negative is since there is a lot of shade there are some mosquitos. My advice if you are one of the folks that mosquitos like then you should wear some bug repellent on your legs and ankles otherwise well worth visiting.

First ever mollete; delish. French toast and basket of fresh baking also great. Sides of flank steak and bacon came cold however. Neat vibe. Came back for another breakfast. Was told that they wouldn't open for another 10 minutes. Probably not the best place for a quick bite to eat or if you have hungry teens that can't wait. Would recommend but be prepared to wait.

Have fun at Pan Que Pan. A hidden gem in Loreto, Mexico. Good place for breakfast: omelettes, English muffin, French toast and fresh juices. Enjoy time with great people in a unique environment.

Amazing food at this low key bakery and cafe. My kids loved the French toast. House omelette was very good. Service was kind and friendly. Would say this is not a grab and go spot. If you’re in a hurry, better to order something from the bakery in front.

Cute corner spot, decent service, but the food was very disappointing. I had seen all the reviews saying there are lots of vegan options and was excited to have vegan pizza and empanadas. Unfortunately the server said they don’t have vegan cheese, and strangely she acted as if they never have it. She said the green “V” next to those 12 dishes on the menu means they will make it vegan by omitting the cheese(even though the menu said it means vegan.) Cheeseledd pizza didn’t sound satisfying so I ordered the tofu salad, which was acceptable but it cost more than a pizza and was not nearly enough food. It would have been better with bread to bulk it up, and maybe added corn or something. Other reviewers mentioned vegan cheese, which was the whole reason I chose this restaurant, but instead I left hungry and disappointed. Don’t like complaining but just wanted to make sure no one else has this experience. Since all the good menu options require cheese, if you’re vegan make sure to ask if they have vegan cheese when you arrive, or call ahead.

We had a decent meal here, we enjoyed our empanadas and salad. The passes were a bit heavy-handed, but did the trick for a special meal in Loretto. The atmosphere is fun and rustic. There were lots of experts around.

The food was excellent. The service friendly and prompt. We had pizza and Milanesa. The milanesa is like schnitzel and was perfectly tender. We got there early and were seated quickly but it filled up fast! Go early and don’t miss this gem.

One of our favorite meals of our trip. The pizzas are great, and the salads are the best we've had in Mexico. Our waitress didn't speak English very well, but she made a great effort and was so sweet.

We went here for dinner recently and were very pleased. We had a pepperoni pizza and their apple and pear salad. Both were excellent. They have a wonderful selection of beers and the service was stellar. Don't miss this place while in Loreto.

Delicious empanadas and shrimp. The Caesar salad was liht and crisp. Margarita and pina colada were cold and tasty. Want to come back for many other dishes! Back 4 years later and everything is still delicious!

We had a wonderful dinner here. I ordered their empanadas and salad combo. Pasta is homemade and amazing! Great selection of craft beers. Server was very helpful to my husband who has celiac and helped him find food options that was safe. We sat inside by the window which is a great option for dining "outside" but a little warmer. Will visit again.

I love everything about this place. From the cheery decor to the tortilla soup, chili, rellenos, lemonade frappe with mint, and giant guacamole. Get it all! Straight across from the mission.

Always one of our favorites in Loreto. Don't miss the chicken mole enchiladas! There was a coconut lemonade drink, coconada, that was unique and excellent. Service was slow, but we didn't mind - we're on vacation!

We went in once because it was recommended, but eneded going back because it had great food. The tortilla soup is one of the best I've tried in the country. We also got the green enchiladas, and the cochinita (which was to die for!). As said, we went back for the soup and the cochinita, and we also tried the fish with shrimp (pescado culichi). The servers were quick and, as per restaurant customs, they bring you a house sope -ask for the spicy sauce to go with it, you won't regret it!

Went here for dinner on our first night in Loreto and had a fantastic experience. The margaritas are amazing; I tried the mango and strawberry and thought they tasted delicious. The decor is beautiful: outdoor patio with lanterns and an overhanging tree. Great service, menu in Spanish and English, complementary appetizers, and homemade tortillas. The food wasn’t 10/10 for taste, but it was very good with big portions and not overly expensive. I highly recommend.

Food was well prepared and presented. Service was very good. Go inside to order at the desk and they will bring your meal to your table. My fish fillet was excellent. My wife loves her fish tacos. Prices are very reasonable. Good atmosphere right off the Central Plaza.

Visited Loreto in October with church group, found Ole Cafe next to the central Plaza, Visited each morning for breakfast because they cooked nopales with eggs, tasty refried beans and fresh corn tortillas. They have an extensive menu, cost with coffee was less than $10 dollars US.

The mango juice was the only good thing here! The service was poor and the food was not good at all. We had high hopes as it is in a good location and has been open since 1982!

Was pleasantly surprised that they had a separate small vegan menu. We came two days in a row. I was on a bean kick and had a burrito one day (remembered to take a pic after taking a few bites) and a Sopa de arroz con frijoles. Would definitely recommend. Heads up, I believe they are cash only.

No, a.c. but because it's facing the opposite of the sun and several ceiling fans, the place is always cool! The staff very friendly and the food is on point! Give it 10000 because they always have fresh orange and mango juice! The hot cakes are so delicious 😋 (i think it has crack it in because you just can't have 2!). I literally came back to get them again!

Hands down best fish and shrimp tacos I had during my stay in Loreto - super fresh and tasty.

One of my favorite spots in Loreto. Their tacos are unmatched. I absolutely love their battered fish and shrimp tacos. Their grilled shrimp with cheese is excellent as is their grilled fish option. They provide you with chips and a tray that includes a multitude of sauces and toppings. The margaritas here are pretty great too!

This is by far our favorite restaurant. Everything we've had has been excellent.

Cesar's is the first place we take family and friends when they arrive in Loreto. First impressions can set the tone for an entire vacation and Cesar's is perfect in every way. Julio always greats us with a smile. The Margaritas are delicious as are the tacos heaped with fresh caught fish with all the trimmings.

Every year we come to Loreto and Caesars is the very first stop once the plane lands! Excellent food and margaritas! Love this local family business!

We stopped here while walking by glad we did. The shrimp cocktail Mexican style was delish and chips salsa and beer 🍺 Dos xx hit the spot. Friendly waitress. What’s not to like.

Delicious fish tacos and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are not the friendliest, but service is good. I highly recommend for lunch. Edit: I’m editing this post because on a return visit, I was warmly welcomed by the family who owns it. Everyone can have a bad day, especially when it’s 90 degrees outside.

Small, but very efficient international airport. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is there’s no duty free to spend your leftover pesos. I wish American airports took security as seriously as LTO

Do yourself a favor, if you are questioning the legality of anything you are bringing into Mexico, you better check the laws. The officials here are on top of things. Smokeless tobacco is banned, by decree since 2022 but it is now on the books as of January 2025. Sucks flying in. But much better flying out of here. Some cool little shops to get snacks and last minute souvenirs.

Great little airport that is well done and efficient. Do not, I repeat, do not buy a beer at the airport bar while you are waiting for your ride to arrive. Mucho expensive! lol

Worst airport experience of my life. We waited two hours after deplaning, no ac in the airport, it was well over 100 degrees inside with a line that barely moved. THEN they had the audacity to flag people for extra screening WITH NO ONE to do the extra screening. The employees said "the people that do that are in the office, they're slow to come out". Rude, inconsiderate, will never fly into Lareto again.

I departed Baja California Sur (B.C.S.), Mexico from Loreto International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional de Loreto) in mid-March 2025. It's a one terminal airport. There are a few small cafés that sell snacks and souvenirs.

The beauty of this airport is the bar to gate ratio is nearly even. It's bar crawl heaven. You can hit five bars in about as many steps.

Small town airport but haven't encountered issues so far. Cad rental agencies are pretty pricy so book ahead of time and don't do it in person. They have plenty or restrooms for such a small place (think corner store small). Establishment is for the most part clean. They have 2 bars pre-check in and one bar past the security gate. One snack bar on each side. Lots of hotels in town, about a 4 minute drive. It's hot in Baja so be prepared to wait outside to board and exit the plane in 95 degree weather. I also noticed some people were having issues with their fishing gear and golf club cases. Customs can be a pain

We spent a week here in Loreto diving with Blue Nation. From the first contact with Monica to the last good-bye these guys were great. My wife and I got 14 dives in with Keyko and Jago over 5 days. Everything was well organized and setup. Lunches were great and scenery top notch. Thanks again.

I spent a remarkable 3 days diving with Blue Nation — so much so that I’m already thinking about when I can come back! The team is small but mighty, delivering a personalized & stress-free experience. Yago was a phenomenal guide, easily managing the divers in our group through a variety of scenarios (currents, low visibility, etc.) & pointing out lots of amazing marine life I otherwise would have missed. I never felt rushed on the boat or in the water & each of our dives lasted a full hour. Perhaps the most memorable aspects of the trip were the conversations above water. Yago has a deep, passionate knowledge of the area’s geology & an endless number of stories from his diving career. I learned so much & it created a very inclusive environment on the boat. We went in a Dive trip of tree days In the first week of september. The conditions (Even by the rainy days) and the dive sites suggested by the blue Nation staff were mind blowing! Top service, kind people, great captain, and delicious healthy lunch! Recomend u to stay a couple of days, there are 3 islands that yo should visit and dive!

We had an amazing time snorkeling among the rock on two different beach location. I normally do not wear wetsuits, being from BC Canada, but I was glad to be wearing one on our tour. You spend 2 hours snorkeling and moving locations wet. I bring something to change into overtop of your bathing suit. I bought a real inexpensive waterproof case for my iPhone on Amazon and was able to take great photos. The trip started off with dolphins swimming along side of boat. The captain then pulled the boat into two small beautiful caves carved into the rocks along the shore. Our tour had both snorkeled and scuba divers. We then snorkelled for 2 hours with a great local lunch. Then a bonus. Our boat driver went way out of his way when he spotted blue whales and we were able to watch the two dive and resurface. It was the best day ever.

Been living here for going on two years and always go out with the folks at Blue Nation. I also got my dive certification through them. Well maintained equipment, beautiful boat, and very knowledgable and friendly staff and affordable excursions. If you're visiting this beautiful part of the world, highly recommend you go out with Blue Nation!

The boat tour with Blue Nation was, with no doubt, one of the best experiences I’ve had in Baja. The guide of our group was Nicolas, an incredible smart, charismatic and kind guy who made the group enjoy every moment of the tour. Jairo was the tour pilot, an excellent one. Our group saw an unforgettable beautiful sea life, including dolphins, whales and sea lions. I’m very grateful for the whole experience and can’t wait to do it again soon!

Very nice small museum next to the church in Loreto. They have several different rooms set up with displays and artifact describing events from the original Indians, the village life, the arrival of the missionaries and elements and facts from the original church - Most information is in Spanish but they do have several information cards also posted in English

While staying at Villa del Palmar we took a day trip to the town of Loreto and found this mission built in 1697! Beautiful inside and out and cool that it has stood this long.

Definitely felt like an old world church. Very cool!

Pretty easy denture and tour the mission. Cost of 70 pesos per person masks are required in February 2023. If you're there on the hour the clock strikes his bells and at noon it plays a recorded but very convincing longer rendition. The plaza around are beautiful and well kept. Lots of places to have lunch.

Very nice museum right next to the mission. It includes maps, artifacts, paintings, etc. and the signs are in English and Spanish. It is not huge so one can see everything in as little as 20 minutes. In February 2023, the entry cost is 70 pesos ($3.86 US dollars). The museum is closed on Mondays and they close mid-day for siesta but reopen in the afternoon.

Cool area. Touristy

70 pesos entrance fee per person while you are out in 20 minutes max! But I guess it gives a good insight int he history of the area.

Relaxing location with a good vibe - nice trees, lights. etc. Adjacent to the plaza in front of the Loreto tourism office and City Hall. Good beer (had the recent IPA) and terrific puff-pastry wrapped Chile Relleno. Decent solo musician in the plaza during my visit to El Zopilote.

Special Order shrimp, pineapple pizza and Pepperoni, mushrooms, green pepper pizza are awesome with shots of 1800 Tequila. On an other visit, I had the Shepherd's Pie and it was delicious. The portion size was too small, and I had to order a second one.

Had an excellent lunch of fish tacos today. Their beer battered bass was perfect on their flour tortillas. The lemonade natural was just the way we liked it, not too sweet. The cold draught stout was just perfect with the tacos. I may have to return even though I’m only here for another 24 hours.

They have very good craft brew - which you don't find often in small pueblos of Mexico. The day we were here they only had three available. One was an IPA, then a pale ale, and the one I loved was their Bandito Stout. They have a beautiful location on the plaza under the canopy of some beautiful shade trees. Plenty of outdoor seating and a few tables indoors as well. Wait staff was very friendly and explained the beers and menu items to us. Also if you are adventurous, try the Oxaca appetizer which consists of fried grasshoppers, served with home made blue corn tortillas, guacamole and some very nice salsa. We also had their battered fish tacos, (you can also order the fish grilled if you don't want battered) and the batter was very light with a wonderful flavor. Tuesdays are half price beer specials and Fridays they have specials on the fish tacos This is a great place to enjoy some cold beer, relax and people watch - I only wish they would serve chips and salsa if you are ordering drinks (if you want chips and salsa it is an extra charge)

The craft beer was very good for being in Mexico. I couldn't believe they had an imperial stout, a double IPA and a hazy. And they were all beers we would have again if they were in San Diego. They IPA was more of a German lager. We think they had that one mislabeled. It was definitely not an IPA, not even close. But that aside we had such a good experience with the other 3 beers we went back the next day. For food the fish tacos were good. The chili rellano was good , but I was surprised they used ground beef. I guess that's a local thing. Needless to say, we did not eat here again as the menu was a bit limited for us. But did I mention the beer was good!

Our first place to eat in Loreto. Came back for a second meal. Quesadillas were a hit with our family., both the chicken AND the goat cheese. I can personally vouch for the Rattlesnake West Coast IPA. Attentive servers. Took a little too long to get our orange cake for dessert. Would recommend.

Our group had dinner here. The service was slow. Even though we, at the time, were the only ones ordering when we sat ourselves. The other 2 tables were eating. Luckily we got our orders in before the rest of the tables filled up. Unfortunately, the pizza options that were advertised were not available. Not sure why they couldn't make pizza?? I ordered a stout beer which was not good. We had 2 orders of fish and chips, 2 orders of the Irish nachos and a couple of burgers. All of which everyone enjoyed at the time. Later on that night the 2 people who had fish and chips and the accompanied 'tartar sauce' were up all night sick. It was also one of the most expensive meals we had in Loreto.

Just absolutely amazing! The shrimp pozole bowl is as big as your head and full of shrimps and roasted corn in a rich flavorful broth. The mesquite grilled clams is out of this world. We have been coming here for the last 3 days for lunch. Staff are friendly and attentive. A must when visiting Loreto.

Came across this great restaurant- what a great gem. I ordered ceviche and my husband got fish tacos and soup. It was the best meal since we cross the boarder! It was also hot and they brought our dogs water. Very nice people!!!

This place is soo good. Do a Carmen, still has her great sason!! You really got to try fish fillets in garlic sauce. I had lemonade ,huge glass and delicious!!.

Great food from the chef Carmen, very tasty and friendly staff, this is a family owned restaurant. Just be ready to get smoked from the fire wood kitchen, is the real thing!

The natural clams were awesome, they have an appetizer creamy clam based sauce. The big down was service - they need to get wat better in this area, it is unbelievable how bad they could be when serving at their 70% capacity

Just 1 person working the tables and the bar! The girl is fast, but the service is sloooow. Food is good. We got cocktail of shrimp (big cup full of shrimps) and tacos of shrimp and their specialty Almejas Conchó. The specialty was nothing special, baked clams in foil stuffed with chopped veggies, they were underseasoned, no cheese (server described with cheese). Tacos of shrimp were super tasty, light batter, deep fried, sauce was seasoned mayo. I also got a cocktail "Baja Mama", which was essentially piña colada with rum substituted by vodka and a splash of grenadine. Bill came down to 1300 mxn with 4 people dining. Overall good, but can be better.

Had margaritas, steamed clams and shrimp tacos. All good. Lots of seafood options, limited options for those who don't want seafood.

Super cute place, food was good, however service is dragging the place down . The server was very friendly but way out of his league. He was not working his tables diligently, I could see almost all of his tables were not happy. Did I say the service was awful? It took the server 25 minutes to bring our drinks (I asked him twice.) Food took 40 + minutes, I understand the clams take time to bake but a tostada escabeche and some shrimp tacos do not that that long. I would rate the food higher than 1 star but the overall experience is not good. My recommendation: 1) don't come too hungry 2) order food 3) bring a beer in a cooler 4) pop open a beer while you wait an hour for your food.

Was recommended as one of the best spots for their clams......( fish was undercooked,shrimp cocktail tasted like salmonella waiting to happen, clams were the only thing passable enough to eat.) Gotta give it to them though...they do serve the best tasting margaritas and micheladas. Maybe they should rethink about the whole restaurant idea 💡 business and open up a bar. Sorry Conchos...just being honest about my personal experience there...!!!!!

A real scam!! Only for amateur tourists. The waiters instead of doing their job, are just answering the manager's questions while she is comfortable seated drinking soda and micro managing. The food takes forever and they don't have the full menu. Worst in Baja!

Go eat at Almejas Conchó if you visit Loreto...it's only a couple blocks from the city center and they serve up amazing wood- fired clams and ceviche caught fresh almost daily. The staff are some of the friendliest folks and they serve nice big margaritas!

We requested paella 12 hours before our reservation and we were so happy!! The paella was awesome and we did all seafood. Such a treat! We highly recommend.

The dish in the photo was catch of the day sea bass with mango salsa! Yum! The evening we were there, this restaurant and the one next to it were entertained by a guitar player adding to the relaxed atmosphere. A wonderful place for an evening meal. Many tables were reserved but they kept one table for walk up diners which we shared with two others.

My dad and I visited Mita Gourmet on our trip to Loreto, and it quickly became our favorite spot. The food was incredible! I had phenomenal tacos with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh toppings. Other standouts included the chile rellenos and the surprisingly delicious beef Bolognese pasta. We raved about Mita Gourmet to our group, and they were lucky enough to snag a reservation for our last night. The restaurant was very accommodating to our large party (14 people) and everyone loved their meals. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Loreto!

Delicious! I had the Huevos Rancheros which was simple and perfect with a very light tomato sauce. My friend had something that looked like breakfast lasagna. I forgot the name. It was amazing too. I loved the green juice. Very fresh. Very cute outdoor seating.

Mita Gourmet has good but not great food. The beef Stroganoff was a bit salty and too much garlic. The French Onion soup was good however don't expect Caramelized Onions instead they use White Onions. The Chicken soup was very good. The Mojitos were terrible... they added way to much salt and were not good. Friendly staff however food does take a while to be served. The waitress also prepared our drinks. All outdoor dining facing the town square.

Best food we had our entire time in Loreto! The fish tacos were to die for. My fiancés name is Claudia so that was a fun twist as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My mom and I stayed in loreto for a week and this was our spot almost every night. Jose and Ernesto were our bartender/ server and showed us so much kindness and hospitality. Jose made us some great margaritas along with making us laugh, and ernesto was very attentive and made lots of good recommendations on the menu. We will for sure be back next time we are in town for the great service and the food! Gracias amigos!!

Delicious shrimp quesadilla and amazing Pina colada! Very friendly and attentive service. They even remade my food to accommodate my garlic allergy.

The food was really good. The staff was real friendly. The seating was good, sat outside in the Plaza. The drinks were tasty. I had the margarita jalapeño cucumber and it was awesome. A little on the pricey side but it was worth it for the experience of loreto.

Amazing food and service. The Claudias fish fillet and the Rib eye steak was beyond excellent. our waiter Jose is a great host and a very nice guy. When we visit Loreto again this will be our first stop.

We were craving Chilaquiles and boy did we get them here! Our brunch was fabulous here and in such a beautiful setting on a balcony overlooking the main Loreto Square. The service was lovely but a little bit slow. They did have a bathroom and juices coffees and everything like that.

Literally, the best latte I have ever had in my life! So I had two of them. I had a good omelet and my wife had oatmeal. Good dishes, but the latte was the star of the show. Upstairs location, air conditioned, very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

Safe way to know historical downtown Loreto, people are very helpfull and regularly very nice. This is a very safe area, a lot more crowded and busy at night, when the heat and sun go down.

The best breakfast and lunch in Loreto. They have AC and quick/kind service. We ate here 3 times during our stay and highly recommended the poblano enchiladas!

I really wanted to love this place. It’s tucked away upstairs above the courtyard of shops. The terrace is charming, the coffee is good and the servers are friendly. The avocado toast with egg was meh. The bread tasted like basic store bought, and the guacamole was pretty bland. I’ll probably give them another shoot and order something else.

Fantastic! We ate breakfast here on the last morning before we flew home, and loved it. We all agreed it was our favourite spot and we’d have made it a daily breakfast spot if we hadn’t had to leave. The food was very good and prices fair. The service was also excellent. The pancakes had a fun little face added to them via fruit and chocolate chips and were oh so fluffy. Everyone in the group loved the breakfast, I had the Chilaquiles Mole con Huevo. Damn, that was good. Exactly how it sounds and made beautifully.

A very clean and well-organized place, with the best bathrooms in Baja California. Just a 7-minute walk to the malecón and 10 minutes to downtown. We stayed for a week and a half and everything was perfect. The place also felt very safe, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!"

400 pesos a night for electric, WiFi, showers and toilets. Washer/dryer are 50 pesos each. Friendly staff and people parked up. It’s in town so there will be sounds. Safe and secure. About a fifteen minute walk to the malecon or town square.

Great place to stay if you have an RV. Not so great if you have a tent because of the road noise when the tenting location is. Overall we really liked it here—walking distance to downtown. The showers are very hot, which is a plus. Very polite host and had a very laid-back atmosphere.

Great place, the Yolanda is fantastic. There are showers and toilets available. Washer and dryer on-site but not included in the fee. Walking distance to the water and beautiful historic section of town. The price has risen this year, so we plan to check out other options for future stays.

We enjoyed the most memorable and informative whale watching excursion. Javier is so well informed about Loreto, the Sea of Cortez, and all the wildlife in them. We spent 7 hours sighting fin, humpback, and blue whales, dolphins, blue footy boobies, and so many other birds. Javier’s enthusiasm makes the trip even more special. Do not hesitate to book with Baja Mia (and you might want to request Javier). Such a fabulous day on the water. Thank you Javier and Leslie.

My sister and I had two great trips with Baja Mia - one to Isla Coronado and the other to Isla Carmen. Pancho, who runs the operation is fully bilingual and very responsive on WhatsApp. For the second one, our excellent captain, Javier, picked us up on the beach at Loreto Bay. The wildlife to be seen is just stunning. Sadly we missed the blue whales the days we were out but saw minke, humpback, dolphins, sea lions, blue footed boobies, etc. There’s a reason is it a UNESCO world heritage designated bay.

Pancho & Co at Baja Mia were great and organised a brilliant island boat trip from Loreto. Within minutes of setting off we saw 2 turtles and later went snorkelling with sea lions before having a picnic lunch on a beautiful island beach with huge shoals of tropical fish. Highly recommended both for the wildlife and for the great customer service - Pancho was really helpful and kept in touch to make sure I had activities booked during the rest of my stay in town.

Such a beautiful tour of the Coronado island! Words cannot describe the beauty of the sea of Cortez and Baja California! I saw seals, dolphins birds and the most wonderful stretch of beach ever! We rent 2 ATV for a really good price. We rode on the beach and on nice tracks in the mountain. It was amazing, the owner is nice honest and trustful. I definitely recommend them !!

I give this RV park a five-star because of the friendly and accommodating owner, Alberto and Cele, the camp host. Its closeness to the town center and it’s tropical oasis feeling make it by far the greatest place for vans and smaller RV to stay while visiting Loreto.

What a wonderful and lovely place to stay for a couple of days or weeks. We were here over Christmas and it was so nice. The Host is super friendly and helps wherever he can. Full hookup under the palms was for MX$ 450 per day or pay 6 and stay 7 per week. Affordable and really close to the Plaza and to the beautifully little town. Grocery, Bakery, Restaurants and beach are in walking distance. Entrance with our ExMo was little tricky (cause 13ft high) but we did it. So 5 stars over all 👌👍😎

The location is unbeatable, just fantastic. It's right in the heart of the pedestrian area of downtown and a block from the malecón. It is very popular and a bit crowded but the campground host did a great job fitting everyone in and the other campers have been very quiet and courteous. There are only two restrooms which double as showers which take a little bit of juggling with the number of campers. The host does an amazing job, he is super friendly and is constantly busy keeping the park up.

Great downtown location on walking street to town center or malecon. Full hookup. Nothing fancy, usually pretty full, but with hot showers and laundry machine. Staff is excellent & accommodating. Price went up to $400 Mex for 2023.

Perfect location!!! Walk to the malecon and old town is two minutes away. Only downside is there are only 1 men's and 1 women's restroom for the entire place. Owner is very nice! $400 a night with electric

Super nice park! Alberto the manager is a great host and keeps things so nice. Bathrooms are super clean as are the property grounds. There is a community “kitchen” area with hot water for dish washing. There is also a washing machine and clothes line for drying. This place is in the city center and you can walk everywhere! Looking forward to our next visit!

Peaceful camping in the heart of the town, walking distance to everything. Super well kept and clean hot showers & bathrooms.

Called the day before for a taxi to the airport, was able to converse in english, and our driver was at our stay five minutes early. Gave us ample time for a cervesa at the airport before boarding our flight. We love Loreto!

There are many options to rent a car in Loreto but my brother recommended me Ventur AMC so I went for it. Great attention, specially from Gama and Viri. On my return to Baja, I will rent with Ventur again.

We booked a minivan with a very sweet woman, Diana, for our 10 days in Loreto. When we arrived we were helped by Gerardo Garcia. Very very helpful and honest. I highly recommend this car rental business.

We rented a car for a day to do some sightseeing from Loreto. The manager, Viridiana, immediately provided a very reasonable quote which included all required insurances. No games- Transparent pricing at its finest. We also appreciated the service Gerardo provided picking us up at our hotel in the morning and dropping us off at night. We were very happy with the car and would definitely rent from this ventur AMC office again.

These guys were amazing. Last minute request to rent a car for a few hours. They picked us up right where we were calling from and we dropped off right there. Just amazing! Regina and Leo are not only great expdedition guides, theyr love for the ocean and the environment are making this experience even more special! The Whales & Oasis expedition was a great choice, we got to see humpback, grey and blue whales and many other species. Everything was perfectly organized and they changed the itinerary according to the weather, very professional! We will come back!!

Food was great, I ordered mole and it was very tasteful, very inexpensive as well. My friends ordered Tacos de gobernador. They came somewhat spicy 🥵.,,but were good. I wish they had music ..

Amazing dinner and service. Worth the one block walk from the plaza. Great shrimp tacos and the crab was phenominal. Very affordable, less expensive than the tourist places right by the mission but better food and amazing staff. Highly recommend coming here.

Great atmosphere. Really good food and drinks. My stuffed baked potatoe was fabulous as were the Clams La Palapa

The ambiance is decent. And the shade from the thatched conical roof is welcome. I had Oaxacan flavored chicken, which was cooked well but the mole sauce was lacking in depth; enough to make me question why it was on the menu. Our server was fluent in both Spanish and English, and was genial and attentive. The busboy had so much cologne on we could smell his visits for nearly 2 minutes afterwards. (Didn't pair well with the food choices) Prices were reasonable for the touristy area. I would try it again.

Best restaurant we went to in Loreto. Fish tacos, fish filet, fish soup were all amaizing. Cheese enchiladas were delicious too. They start you out with a bowl of chips and several salsas. The atmosphere - inside a giant palapa - is perfect for authentic Mexican food.

Cooked the dorado we caught with great skill. The chef made suggestions, which we chose from. Excellent cocktails, as well.

Wow! This family-run restaurant is really special. I ordered 3 different tacos and all 3 were exceptional. Each one was very unique and full of flavour. The corn tortillas were thicker and served warm which I loved. The food tastes like its make with love.

We went here for breakfast today & it was excellent. Perfect breakfast/lunch spot. If you blink you’ll miss it, it is caddy corner from the oxxo store. We had the fresh fruit plate & two tacos. The salsa was excellent with a hint of heat.

Hidden Gem. Must go! Open for the season!! October 5 Wonderful clean and fresh ingredients. Bargain prices. Great coffee. Owned by Luz, who is a humble charming lady. Laurie had the waffles and bacon, and I had over easy Molletes. Sometimes we just come for the coffee and ambiance.

What a gem of a find for breakfast/lunch. We stumbled across Dory Luz and it looked so shady and welcoming we wandered in. The food was simple and delicious! They owner is a lovely woman you can tell the food is made with love. My chilaquilles were delicious and hubby had three different tacos. All wonderful our favorite was the sautéed poblano strips taco. Amazing flavor. We highly recommend stopping here when in Loreto.

A hidden gem off the beaten path yet close to the town's center. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. She speaks little english, but we managed to understand each other despite my terrible spanish. The food is made fresh and is absolutely delicious. It was the best meal I had in Mexico. I visited on a Tuesday morning and ordered the special, Sopes. The food is cheap and the location is great. The outdoor seating area is like an oasis. It is a beautiful garden with flowering plants and birds chirping and flitting about. Succulents adorn the simple wood tables. Light music plays on a portable speaker. If you are visiting Loreto, make sure to visit Dory Luz. You will not be disappointed with this lovely cafe!

Cannot recommend this place enough! We came back to Loreto just to eat here, sadly they're closed on Sundays so we were only able to sneak in one extra meal here instead of two :( Super cute outdoor restaurant under a palapa in a garden. Menu is simple but authentic Mexican food for cheap prices (something near impossible to find in Loreto). Tacos are 25, 3 burritos for 60, waffles and fruit for 60, or they also do a daily special with beans for 80. Coffee is very yummy and organic for 20 and they give every table free chips and salsa!! Food is delicious and fresh tasting. This place deserves to be much more popular than it is, spend 1/4 what you would elsewhere in town and get way better food!!

All 3 ice cream flavor were delicious, but as there is no board with all the flavors they have, it took some time to order

Ice cream is good, but would be nice if you charge us the correct price and not always a different one for the same stuff. We came 3 times in 2 days. We always bought 3 large ice cream bars. Same stuff. First time I paid 110 pesos. I did not check the prices but thought thats a strange number, as you can not divide 110/3....? Next time in the afternoon the older people were there and explained me the price is 35 pesos for a large one, and she charged me 105 pesos (35x3..that makes sense) In the evening we came again, 3 people, we bought 3 large ice bars again, and this time the young guy said its 40 pesos..so 120 total. I told him its funny how you make the prices because every time we pay a different amount and he just smiled. ok. The price on the menu is 35 pesos btw.

Just had an excellent rum raisin milkshake (malteada). The menu offers far more than just ice cream bars (paletas). And the staff is super nice. Highly recommended.

This place was right next to our rental at Casa Mangoes. Liz recommended it and we were not disappointed. They have sooooo many varieties (100+?) of fruit flavored popsicles, half of which were cream based. We had 4 varieties so far. They tasted like they used real fruit and not artificial. Some had chunks of fruit in it. They also had ice cream that looked amazing but we didn't try it.....yet!

Heaven on Earth!!!! We were mildly addicted to the place. It’s better than alllll the ice cream i’ve had in the US. They don’t skimp on ingredients. Flavours we loved and kept buying are: dried fruit, tres leches, a mexican snack with cake chunk, and chocolate (partner’s favourite).

We are repeat customers... excellent variety, quick and the cheapest in town that we have found. Offered is waffle & sugar cones and cups. RECOMMEND

They have a wonderful breakfast buffet and the a la carte options are also excellent. We also had lunch here one day and it was delicious. Breakfast time can be a little busy, so I recommend the buffet when the restaurant is full.

Enjoyed breakfast, lunch & dinner here. Wonderful service & good food. We especially loved coming to this place in the evenings to enjoy cocktails & watching the singer/guitar player every night! The ravioli's are homemade & very good.

Friendly, a bit humid inside. We are using the coupon which comes with the hotel room. You may only order the “Americano” with this coupon. Delicious waft of syrup as you enter. Christian was our waiter, so friendly, broken English to match my broken Spanish. Everyone speaks coffee though. The following is just my opinion. Your experience may differ. Food: Coffee excellent, eggs with ham; tasty. Hash brown, ok, refried beans don’t taste fresh. Fruit or orange juice; I chose fruit. Normally I detest papaya but wow this was good! Toast is standard Bimbo bread, we will choose tortillas tomorrow. Can’t say enough about the service; such a professional, friendly group. Edit: day 3. Slllooooowwwwww. If you have an appointment for whale watching go 2x early than you think for breakfast.

I think so far those have been the best " enchiladas" that I had all my visits in Loreto! fantastic service, staff super friendly and food delicious!! we have to support this kind of businesses that pays taxes and benefits for their employees will always come back there! thank you so much!!

Kudos to the chef! I had the best chilaquiles at this place in the entire peninsula during my vacation. They are superb and served with a generous portion. Service was also very friendly. It was the best part of my time at Loreto - highly recommended!

Had a really nice dinner after a long drive. Friendly staff and excellent food. Would return. Italian menu with pizza, pastas and traditional offerings. Breakfast and lunch also looked yummy. I had the pollo.
