Nature & Wildlife Tours
Rio Lagartos Tours offer a chance to explore the diverse wildlife and natural beauty of the area. With around 400 bird species, including flamingos, and opportunities to spot crocodiles, it's a paradise for nature enthusiasts. The tours typically last several hours, allowing for multiple stops to capture photos and observe the wildlife. Visitors can also visit the neighboring pink lakes of Las Coloradas. The village itself is small but worth a visit, offering an off-the-beaten-path experience.
Beautiful tour . I recommend 100% . Ask for Carlos , nice and professional guide . We went in January, we could see crocodiles, birds and flamingos. Cost 1300$mx for 2 people

Great Place!!! So much better than what I could observe from other tours. A lot of local fishermen will approach you in the town. Skip them. I saw how they acted on the water. Some of those fishermen went far too close to the crocodiles, even cornered the crocodiles with two boots, and even touched the crocodiles. This is forbidden behaviour by law and it is dangerous for the animals and the people. Other fishermen do not even find crocodiles because they go far too fast around. Happily, this was very different to the experience with Juan Carlos. He is a licensed guide, he knows how to interact with animals, and he knows a lot about the animals. He takes time to explore each place and approaches this with calmness and maturity. He has great communication skills and made me feel safe all the time. Thank you.

excellent option to make the rio lagartos tour, we made the reservations one night before with Elmer , súper easy, then our tour guide Carlos was super nice, knowledgeable, respectful with the environment and easy going to talk to.

We found this company on Google. Jurge is super friendly and patient. He explained everything, and provide all the information to us. During the trip,he listened to our questions and showed us beautiful sits inside the biosphere. The area is beautiful and well preserved. The cost is fair and the value is high. You should also check their restaurant. Thanks.

We took a 3 hours private tour with Jorge to explore the estuary and see wildlife. We've done a lot of tours during our travel times, but this simple man is next level guide. He is a local, speaks English very well and is continuing legacy from his father. He knows area very well and can provide a lot of information about flora and fauna there. On the way back we saw a lot of boat tours, with my partner we were joking they are quiet tours, because there was little talking or just pointing on animals. Jorge on the other hand was explaining about mangroves, flamingos, crocodiles, Mexican bay, Mayans. Yucatan peninsula, etc. He is an expert and knows a lot about Rio Lagartos natural reserve and is also doing enviromental work for Natural Parque. After our morning trip to see wildlife we went to near island with local restaurant to swim in Mexican gulf, eat fresh sea food, drink beer and simply enjoy the moment. Book this tour, you definitely won't regret it, you will support a local guy and contribute to protecting wildlife.

Rio Lagratos is a small village, blink and you will miss it. A bit off the beaten path but worth the drive. Strongly suggest taking a boat tour. Local guide/captain will take you on a adventure through open water and rivers where you will get a chance to see some very unique birds and even crocodiles. Same birds actually to up to the boat to show off their feathers ...in exchange for some fish (ask the captain before you leave port). Pelicans are also very popular. One may also see the salt lands (i called them that 😁). A place where the water turns almost pink. Do take the drive...definitely worth it. Do take cash...no ATM machines...anyyyywhere

Visited Rio Lagartos today and after a great lunch in front of the pier, we were off on the boats. Seeing Flamingos, aligators, going for a mud bath and following with some swimming. A Great time and place to enjoy !

La Mojarrita de Rio Lagartos is a popular restaurant and tour provider known for its delicious Mexican and Caribbean cuisine. Visitors rave about the perfectly prepared laing, tender fried fish, and homemade fillet. The attentive service, affordable prices, and knowledgeable guides make it a must-visit spot in Rio Lagartos. Guests also recommend taking one of their tours for an excellent experience.
The food was incredibly delicious! Despite the language barrier, the service was exceptionally friendly and very attentive, making us feel welcome right away. The food was freshly prepared, and the quality was outstanding. You can tell they value high-quality ingredients here. The terrace is particularly lovely, located right on the waterfront promenade. It offers a beautiful view of the harbor, which makes the experience even more special. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable for what you get. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who values great food, warm service, and a fantastic atmosphere.

We shared the whole fried fish and the grilled fish filet between three people and it was delicious and plenty. The seasoning of the grilled fish was perfect. The whole fried speckled trout was one of the best we have had. We were treated to complimentary desserts, a squash dish cooked underground with a sweet syrup topping and a coconut rice with mango and fried plantains. Wish I took more pictures.

We joined for the Las Coloradas- Ria Lagartos guided tour from Valladolid. A driver picked us up from our accommodation and took us first to Las Coloradas. Then we were transferred to the boat and spent about 3 h watching birds and crocodiles on Ria Lagartos. At the end we were taken to LA Mojarrita restaurant for lunch. They have vegetarian options and I was very happy with my stuffed squash. The staff was kind and professional.

We had an amazing experience at La Mojarrita. The restaurant was about a block from our hotel. We sat at the terrace that has two amazing murals painted by a local muralist. The service was outstanding. The food ingredients and preparation were fresh. The chef was willing to make a sweet plantain dessert with her personal touch and to explain to us how she arrived to that original recipe as a courtesy of the house for us. I did have a ceviche mixto and my sister had the camarones al mojo de ajo. Both dishes were deliciously prepared. My sister also liked the small fruit salad that came as a side with her dish. The lemonade drink was outstanding we asked no ice and no excessive sugar and was perfectly prepared as we requested it. I am more than happy to recommend this place when you visit Rio Lagartos.

Absolutely amazing food. Fresh fish from that morning cooked with delicious local spices. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. The service is so friendly and the rooftop restaurant space gets a great breeze and wonderful view of the water and the harbor.

AMAZING! Emanuel was such a great guide, we went on a best boat trip ever! It was a last minute decision to go on this boat trip but i am so glad we did. We saw so many crocs and birds including flamingoes. After the boat trip we returned to the restaurant and had the best meal we had in Mexico in 10 days. 10 stars, do not hesitate! I would give 50 if i could!
Elena G — Google review
Insanity delicious food. We had the ceviche, seafood soup and lobsters. Omg! The food was so good that we asked to have our picture taken with the Chef. I could go on in detail about each dish, but a picture is worth 1000 words.

Great lobster and amazing service! They dont have coctails in the menu but i asked for a margarita and they brought me a huge class, when i asked they kept coming back and asking if i want more inside and didn’t charge for that. Right next to the water and perfect atmosphere for this beautiful village. Food and drinks better than in lots fancy places! Highly recommend!

Exactly what we need to optimise our 3-day stay in Valladolid. With fantastic guides, perfect service and amazing food to end the tour. We watched crocodiles, flamingos, raccoons and even took a typical Mayan bath on the beach. Thanks a lot to Emmanuel and his team!

We booked this tour with pickup from our hotel in valladolid. Emmanuel was easy to communicate and very responsive thru whatsapp. The day was perfect and exactly as described on his website. One of the best tours I have been on in along time. we loved the great views of the pink lakes at las coloradas. The tour was completed with lunch at a restaurant in río lagartos. Emmanuel was even nice enough to help me nurse the sunburn. My only advice is if you are like me and sensitive to the sun where a long sleeved shirt!

KIOSK Rio Lagartos Tours offers boat tours around the marina where visitors can negotiate prices based on duration and group size. Martin's tours come highly recommended, providing an enjoyable trip to the lagoon with opportunities to see birds, flamingos, and crocodiles. The guide, Martin Jr., is knowledgeable and adjusts the tour according to the age of participants. Additionally, he shares insights on ethical wildlife tourism practices.
We had an amazing experience with this guys! We saw plenty of crocodiles and a variety of birds up close. Our guide and captain, Kelvin, was professional, knowledgeable, and his English was excellent. Special thanks to Martin for assisting with the booking and providing all the details. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Rio Lagartos!
Oleksandr R — Google review
We booked a tour with Martin via GetYourGuide. We had the entire boat to ourselves with Martin as our guide. The tour was exceptional, Martin has a lot of knowledge about the area and wildlife - he was very respectful of the animals. In 2 hours we saw crocodiles, flamingoes in two locations, brown pelicans, hundreds of other birds and even two raccoons! We even went as far as the pink salt lakes. Be sure to bring binoculars, although Martin has some on hand. Cannot recommend this tour enough.
Joe K — Google review
Amazing tour with Martin. Very knowledgeable. He shared a lot of information and his experience on how unethical practices in tourism can affect wildlife. You can easily book a tour with him on whatsapp and while arriving make sure to drive directly to the meeting point and not stop with other vendors ;) he will be waiting there for you with the boat ready. Highly recommended if you want to experience wildlife with a reflective guide :)

If you’re looking for an awesome guide in Rio Lagartos, Martin is the guy! He made our day absolutely unforgettable, taking us up close to crocodiles, flamingos, pelicans, and so much more. His knowledge of the area and the wildlife is incredible, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. Not only did he take us to the best spots for wildlife watching, but he also made sure we had an amazing experience from start to finish. He even took us to a private beach where we could relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. And the best part? He took fantastic photos of us throughout the trip, so we have amazing memories to look back on! If you’re heading to Rio Lagartos and want a fun, knowledgeable, and super friendly guide, Martin is the one to go with. Highly recommend!

Martin's tours were recommended to us in the hotel Tabasco Rio. We met for all details and the next day we went for a trip to lagoon seeking birds, flamingos and cocodrillos. We went with our two kids and we all enjoyed those 2 hours trip. Our guide Martin Jr. did his job perfectly. We found various wild animals and had chance to observe them in their natural environment. He adjusted the trip also according to our kids age. The price was confirmed ahead and paid after the trip. The boat Is for 6 and the price is set per boat. Boat trips to lagoon are definitely worth it and I would say Martin tours are reasonibly priced and the value is high. The lagoon itself is amazing environment and it is gem of this village.

We had an wonderfull 3 hour tour tot see the flamingo's and so much more! Abraham was an amazing tour guide and took his time to show us everything. We saw so many flamingo's and birds and even a crocodile! Thank you Martin and Abraham for showing us this fantastic place.

I would like to give biggest recommendations for tour guide Martin! We have been in Mexico for 2 weeks and tried many experiences, activities, but this one was just the best! The tour guide was super professional and showed the best places, with flamingos, crabs, crocodiles, many different birds, told the very nice information about the animals and environment. To see that close animals in theirs own nature is just amazing and feel safe with the guide is the goal and that was what we had, so really the biggest recommendations for this amazing guide Martin! 💯
Indrė K — Google review
We booked a boat trip with Martin and it was really nice! The contact with Martin was really good, by WhatsApp. Before the trip he came to our hotel to pick us up. The trip was also really good! He showed us many birds, mangroves and give lots of information about it. He really did his best to see the crocodiles and we saw 2! Martin is a really nice and friendly guy! Really recommend this trip!

The reserve is home to diverse wildlife, including crocodiles, birds, and the iconic pink flamingos. I went solo to Rio Lagartos Tour Trip and it was so pleasant. The boat tour was splendid and the view of crocodiles, birds, pink flamigos were all so so beautiful. I really recommend it. The amount of flamingos are as if you were in a dream. We had a mud bath as well and swam for 15mns on a safe place. It is an amazing experience

Reserva de la Biosfera is a mesmerizing haven where nature's artistry comes to life. The elegant dance of flamingos wading through shimmering waters, the stately pelicans gliding above, and the quiet presence of alligators create an atmosphere of serene beauty. The air hums with the vibrant chorus of countless birds, each adding their brushstroke to this masterpiece of biodiversity. It’s a profound sanctuary where every moment feels like stepping into a living canvas. It is truly unforgettable! Go early to catch the birds. Park your car by the road and look for a tour guide. I recommend a private tour. You'll have about 3 hours to explore. There's a lot to see! Interacting with birds is a wonderful feeling, don't miss out on it!

An incredible place to visit. From San Felipe you can take a boat trip for some petén (little islands), then eating in an other remote piece of land. Thrilling experience visiting the island artificially made by mayas as a commercial harbor. The sunset on the boat is priceless. In general is a place you must visit of you like nature and birdwatching.

Rio Lagartos is a quiet and small town in the northern part of Yucatan. It is one of the best places I've been in Mexico to see the sunset. If you happen to be in the area, stay for one day or two and enjoy some relaxing time under the sun / moonlight. The small town itself is low in terms of options of things to do for tourists, but walking down to the city sign is a nice way to see this little village. Most boat tours leave from the centre of the village. Tours can range from visiting the nearby natural biosphere up to checking Las Coloradas or even further to Holbox. Depending on how much time you spend here, you can just stay at a cosy hotel with a poolside and a great restaurant that it'll all be worth. We stayed at Hotel Rio Lagartos, and the experience was fantastic. The food was really good and the service was excellent too. Locals here are very kind and helpful with tourists. There aren't many places to visit other than Las Coloradas if you want to explore the region by car, and at night the city is tranquil and not much can be found to do in the local bars. It can rain a lot in these parts, and public drainage and sewage system are not so great... So, beware to set yourself some extra time when planning a visit due to the possibility of floods which may cause delays in your travels. You might not want to stay put here (it's a rather remote area), due to bad weather conditions, and eventually miss a flight or pay extra car fees for not taking this kind of issue into consideration when planning a trip to these parts... Safe journey!

Our dining experience was simply divine. The food was amazing, bursting with superb flavors that delighted our taste buds with every bite. Each dish we ordered was delicious, surprising us pleasantly and treating us to a delightful culinary journey. It was truly a wonderful treat that exceeded our expectations.

Don’t eat here. We just finished eating lunch at Deja Vu. We were the only people in the restaurant. The photos online make the restaurant appear to have a sea view from the tables. They do not. The downstairs had a funky smell. The food was not good. Our fajitas were cold… not even warm. They appear to have been cooked way ahead of time and was just sitting out getting cold. The Cole slaw was dried out and looked old and had no dressing. The dipping sauce for my coconut shrimp was cream of coconut with red dye. It looked and tasted gross. A lazy unappealing place. Wound not have eaten here but we were very hungry. Do not recommend.

Delicious and well prepared Mexican food. The best guacamole we had in Mexico and fantastic seafood. Other options as well. We had takeaway two times while in town.

Food was excellent but the prices were higher than we agreed on. We ordered fish per gramm. She showed us the fish from the kitchen and said it'll be 1.100 pesos on a written paper as we haven't had a lot of pesos with us. In the end she wanted for the same fish 1.400 pesos. For us it was rather a "regular" mexican rip-off.

Great service with amazing food. From the pasta to the seafood, it was the best we had in Rio Lagartos. It's a great place for drinks with good music and a really cool atmosphere on the rooftop terrace. Maleconcito Gourmet in Rio Lagartos is a must-visit restaurant offering a generous shrimp with coconut, well-prepared steak, and an enticing mixed ceviche. The place is known for its surprising beer and excellent cocktails. It's the perfect spot to start or end your visit to Rio Lagartos, especially after touring the remarkable Ria Lagartos Bio Reserve. Maleconcito Gourmet is a family-owned business that skillfully prepares locally caught fresh seafood.
The food alone was already great. Fresh shrimps and fish, crunchy nachos, a tasty soup. But what made our stay even better was the service. Our waitress Kathi, was very attentive and professional. In the end we even got a tequila degustacion, that did not find its way on the bill. Thank you again for the nice evening. 10/10 would come again!!!

Provides a beautiful ambience with a wide variety of menu items at a stellar price. José was our waiter tonight and is awesome, he was attending to multiple tables and was fantastic. My husband and I ordered the steak tacos, coconut shrimp, and two cocktails for $635 MXN. The coconut shrimp were the biggest I have ever seen, and they give you an entire plate full. Reasonable items for kids as well (pizza, burgers). The pictures of the menu are outdated, but do no fear. Their menu includes pastas, ceviche, beef, and of course - fish, shrimp, and lobster. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed lunch in this restaurant, had a nice fish and grilled octopus. They brought us a complimentary small basket with chips and 3 home made salsas. Everything was very tasty, the waiter Alexis was serving us with a nice smile and care. If we have the chance, we will surely come back.
Jana P — Google review
This is the best place to eat in this town. Juan took great care of us! They use REAL butter with the lobster, everywhere else uses margarine, and for me that is not an option. We checked them all and this place is for sure the best. Great cocktails, food, and service. And prices are reasonable I will be back for sure!
Blond P — Google review
Suprised how good the food was in this Restaurant. If you are nearby and visiting the pink lakes and are hungry afterwards we can recommend this one.
Andreas P — Google review
From the initial welcome until we left the service was fantastic, attentive but never rushed. Feels like a happy kitchen resulting in the best food so far in Mexico, with great taste, professional presentation and generous portions. The cost is no more than the more rustic neighbouring family run cafe/bars.
Eivind H — Google review
Great place with fresh seafood, friendly staff. By far the best restaurant in town. We have tried Prawn and octopus Ceviche, grilled Octopus and all were delicious. The only area of improvement could be the drinks, mojito was not let good, very watery. Mezcal was great and nicely presented.

Restaurant
Restaurant Y Posada "MACUMBA" offers a breathtaking dining experience with incredible food and an amazing view from the top. The place has a lively vibe, simple yet clean decoration, and very friendly staff. The owner is known for being sweet and the portions of food are good. Overall, it's a great spot to enjoy excellent food and service in a cool atmosphere.
Incredible food! Very clean simple. And great service! Some of the nicest people ever and an amazing vibe and decoration, very lively :)

We’ve been waiting for our food for more than 30 minutes. It was cold and not tasty at all. This is the place where big touristic groups have dinner and they don’t care about the quality and service. There was no water in the toilet.
Ника А — Google review
Delicious food was a little cold but I guess that's our guide's fault. Restuarant is breathtaking. You have to go upstairs and see the view from the top

Clean and colourful decoration. But rooms are expensive at peso 750 per night for one person without breakfast

La Torreja

4.0

Restaurant
Restaurant La Torreja is a popular spot for seafood, recommended by locals for its delicious dishes and affordable prices. Visitors have raved about the succulent octopus in coconut batter, sopa de pescado, and tacos de camarones. The restaurant offers a great view of the water and has a sitting area on a dock/palapa across the street. Guests have enjoyed the good service, cold beer, and tasty guacamole.
We did a 1h30 tour of the mangroves with Raul who was very knowledgable, we saw flamingos, eagles and crocodiles. The next day we also did a 3h fishing trip with him and we went back to the restaurant where they prepared the fish in ceviche and on the plancha. I highly recommend him for any type of tour.
Oscar C — Google review
Lagoonfront and dockside dining? This is your spot in Rio Lagatos. Classic dishes, both Mexican and gastro-pub-ish, La Torreja provides an inclusive menu that will have something for everyone. Clean and comfortable with great lagoon front views. Whether your here for a tour, or just passing through, this is a decent spot to fill up and nourish your appetite.
Laine A — Google review
Very cute and casual feeling restaurant with fun decor. Food was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced - we had fried fresh fish which came with garlic rice, refried beans and salad, and tacos. Thank you, La Torreja!
Emily-Jane M — Google review
Very nice restaurant with a sitting area on a dock/palapa across the street. Very good service and the shrimp cocktail was delicious!

Great view of the water. They also have hummingbird feeders, and we saw some from inside. Beer is cold and they have good prices. Guacamole is good also, Great service.
Judy K — Google review
Didn't feel like eating seafood today and ordered a burger... It was easily the most horrible burger I've ever seen. They put some kind of canned meat (spam or whatever) and a sausage on it. The fries were soggy.
Zohan D — Google review
We went to this place because our hotel receptionist mentioned it. Besides, this place was literally next to our hotel. When we were here, it was very busy and we waited 30 minutes before we got our food. Food was okay.

For day 2, these 3 places should be enough to fill your day with something exciting to do in Rio Lagartos. Start the day with Granja De Cocodrilos Itzamkanac and make your way through the city to get to San Felipe Municipality. This should take about 5 hours of your day.

The best Experience on our day trip by far! Went to the Ek Balam, to the pink lakes and this was our last stop of the day. Totally worth it - we paid 400$ for 3 Personas. Our Guide Martin was hell of a cool dude.
Andreas P — Google review
Absolutely amazing experience Granja De Cocodrilos Itzamkanac is a truly unique place, and we can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and it was clear that the staff genuinely care about their guests. Each group gets their own private tour, and everything happens at the visitors’ pace giving you time to ask questions, take photos, and fully enjoy the experience. You get to see both small and large crocodiles up close, and at the same time learn a lot about the animals and their role in nature. What makes it even more meaningful is that the farm plays an important role in helping restore the crocodile population through responsible breeding and conservation efforts. You really feel that your visit supports something bigger. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this place. It’s an experience we’ll never forget.
Morteza D — Google review
It was so interesting! And you can hold the crocodiles and even feed them. You can feed them only on Wednesday and on Saturday. Because they only eat twice a week. It was so nice and amazing to learn about crocodiles more!
Lina B — Google review
I absolutely loved that experience, and I'm usually terrified of reptiles! You get to feed the crocs and hold the baby ones, all feels nice and safe. You can tell they are well cared for. Must visit on your way to Rio Lagartos/Las Coloradas
Patrycja B — Google review
I went because I was in a tour for Las Coloradas and they stopped there. Terrible, sad, and they explore the wild animals They said they care about the animals and they do this for people be conscious. How people can be conscious if they can touch, take photos and use wild animals like a thing? They maintain a lot of them in a cage, terrible conditions to live, put tapes on their mouth and I saw a ladie who works there hitting one of them just to stop move. This is a shame, make money with wild animals? Would you like to be treated like that? I don’t think so. So please think twice to go there because this place only exists because still have people to finance them.
Carolina N — Google review
Wonderful experience!! The tour was very exciting and informative, they allowed us immediately to take pictures with a 1 year old and a 3 year old way, followed by feeding of young ones (up to 5 years old), explanations about how they breed them here to be released (the young ones have many predators in the area, only 3-4% survive in the wild), finishing with the bigger ones. You can see they care about these animals here, there is even a big one that was rescued (missing eye and feet). They also told me about the struggles after a hurricane hit them so hard 3 years ago followed by pandemic. Only the love for these animals from local people kept the project going. Although they spoke little English it was not a problem because it was a really hands on experience: being able to feed them and even pet them! My girlfriend was so scared when we arrived but by the end of the trip was so daring to go grab them by the tail, enjoyed so much! Muchas gracias Martin y especialmente Venancio por el recuerdo!
Daniel O — Google review
Very nice place, small tour, but you get a lot of memories. You can feed and hold crocodiles. They explain a lot about crocodilea, very nice people working there.

By far the best Tour Operator in Rio Lagartos! They know all the good spots and are super helpful. You must book the fishing trip

Lovely food and Margeritas. We had the guacamole and shrimp tacos and loved it. Afterwards we did the 2 hour tour with Saul and and it was a wonderful experience. We ended up here via Lonely Planet, where they’re praised for their ecotourism and conservationism, and we were not disappointed. Our guide was absolutely passionate about the biosphere and showed us all it has to offer with plenty of explanation. He wasn’t rushed to end the tour and took his time. 5 star experience!
Lionel G — Google review
Very positive experience. We have been here at the closure time. They have an amazing location by the sea. Food is very good and the quality superbe. Waitresses are really kind ready to answer to your requests. Only negative point have been the cocktails. We ordered some margaritas and it seemed no alcohol was inside. Anyways all in all it is a 4 stars restaurant.

We made a 4 hour private boat-tour through the mangrove / lagoon area, absolutely great! We saw a lot of different birds and some crocododiles 🐊 close by! Our guide Andrea gave us very good binoculairs to enjoy all the wildlife. She know’s how to spot and respect the animals! She is a very good captain too, safe and comfortable navigating!!
Coen T — Google review
This was a wonderful experience! The boat tour was awesome and the guide took us to all the right places for the best pictures of the wildlife. We saw cranes, pelicans, seagulls, crocodiles and flamingos! The food was delicious at the restaurant!

Restaurante Los Negritos

Restaurant
Restaurante Los Negritos is a popular Mexican restaurant located in Rio Lagartos, known for its delicious and well-prepared dishes. The family-friendly restaurant offers a variety of local fish dishes, including tender fried fish, ceviche, empanadas, and coconut-fried shrimps. The portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing. Visitors can also enjoy refreshing drinks such as Micheladas, a local beer-based beverage with lemon and a hint of spice.
Super delicious food, great prices. I highly recommend the filete envuelto 😋

Our tour guide took us here and I am so glad he did What a lovely place. Staff is so approachable and friendly. The place is so cool and colourful. The food tastes great
Dolly J — Google review
It was the lunch place included in our Las Coloradas tour. I had fried fish and my husband had grilled fish. We both liked the fried fish better. They also have cold beer, Corona at 40 pesos. The restaurant was a bit hot but it was good in general.
Sujung P — Google review
Very empty when I arrived at 1230 for lunch. the service was slow, but kind and friendly. The snail ceviche was tough and not flavorful. I also ordered the fried whole fish and it was very overcooked and dry, as well as being a bit small for an entree. While the establishment could have a nice atmosphere, for a restaurant by the ocean, the seafood was very poor.
Chris S — Google review
Went with our tour and we both selected different dishes and were not impressed. It was very dry and bland. We overheard many others complain about the same thing. Place looks very clean and nicely decorated. Food was just disappointing.
Jess H — Google review
Family restaurant for sure. The plates are big, so maybe you can share depends on how much you eat, local fishes, fried fish, ceviche, empanadas, salbutes, coconut fried shrimps. Plenty of drinks too... I'll recommend to start "empanadas de cazón" and coconut fried fish (: to drink, Micheladas, is a local drink with beer of your choice with lemon, Maggie and a bit spicy really good for hot summer.
Lluvia M — Google review
Unfortunately, have to leave 3 stars review. This place supposedly best for lobster. It was not fresh and super overcooked. They tried to charge us for food that was not served. I know food looks good but it wasn’t. Bill was 82 USD with the drinks, but I would never go back here or recommend it
S V — Google review
Great little restaurant. Had the fried fish and it was delicious with some lime and tortillas. Clean resturant and tentative waiters. Only downside was the bathroom was dirty.
