Shopping mall
Telford Centre is a vibrant indoor shopping haven that boasts an impressive array of high-street shops and department stores, making it the perfect destination for retail therapy. With over 140 stores to explore, visitors can easily spend hours browsing the latest fashion trends or indulging in delicious meals at various restaurants.
Visiting from London family and I have to say I was so positively shocked 😳 about toilets. So clean and nice. Not like in London where human trush don’t care and everything stinks. Also, corridors in shopping mall clean very impressed WELL DONE!
Adrian A — Google review
Clean for the most part, a range of shops available from book shops to jewelers, banks to Primark. Quite confusing so a couple more maps and maybe updated store locations on Google maps would be most appreciated!
Melmel F — Google review
Only stayed here for the premier inn but the town looks lovely. There are many supermarkets, Asda, Iceland ect. The bus station. A Next, Cineworld and lots of restaurants and hotels. Will come back to do some shopping next time.

TELFORD CENTRE is a great shopping centre, many shops and a few cafes all on one floor, extremely clean a looked after included with the signature shops there is a few less familiar shops that are well worth a look at. Really enjoyed the Telford centre and will definitely be returning. Parking is very good from a short stay and long stay car park plus a multi story.
Michael C — Google review
It's a really good shopping center. Loads of shops and the play area outside is brilliant if you've got kids with you. There's a cinema and ice skating, soft play and a great variety of eateries to choose from.
Dana Y — Google review
Absolutely lively place, with great shops and eateries.....BUT cost me £6:50 to park just over 3hrs. Was NOT happy about that when I can park in Wolverhampton ALL DAY for £4:50 and it's even cheaper on Sundays. If the parking was reasonable it would of been 5*. But parking totally let the place down. It's not that the prices need to be high because the place is buzzing......
Franita P — Google review
It's easy to navigate. Plenty of shops to explore. Very clean and hospitable to all people. The yellow barrier cat parks offer the 1st hour free parking if you have a blue badge and a parking pass. Just go to shop mobility outside the entrance where McDonald's is. The parking pass cost £5
K U — Google review
An unusual town centre. Instead of bustling streets with shops, everything is pretty much under one roof. Very reminiscent of Meadowhall in Sheffield. I think I'm scoring it a 4 more than a five, because of it being not what was expected.

Theme Parks
Wonderland is a fairytale-themed adventure park located in Telford, Shropshire, offering enchanting experiences for families with young children. Set in nine acres of natural woodland, the park features beloved characters such as Snow White, Alice, and the Mad Hatter.
Kids loved pretty much everything about it and as an adult I wasn't disappointed . Very age appropriate for our 1-2 year olds, they were able to go on the rides and enjoyed the fairy tale scenes, the few dinosaur models were a hit too.
Simon J — Google review
Went here with wife and kids. Had a brilliant time, all the staff are friendly and kind. The theme was Halloween. The houses were brilliantly decorated and care was given with having younger children being kind and friendly with he kiddies.
Daniel F — Google review
I rarely leave reviews but I thought the staff and characters here are fantastic. So friendly and engaging to the children. My 5 year old and 18 month old loved all the entertainment. The tea party was lovely and the matter had all the kids laughing. My 18 month old is very unsociable and normally takes months to warm up to people but he was smiling and saying yes to Alice. The people working on the rides were lovely aswell far from the bored looks you get from most UK theme parks. Both my boys were up on the stage dancing for the last disco of the day. Really is the staff that makes it so great here. Thank you
Beth O — Google review
I'm not sure why this place picks up negative reviews. Perhaps if the heavens have opened, and its raining, this may be an idea for another day... However, myself and my 3 year old really enjoyed a good few hours here, during a sun filled lovely day. The staff were very warm, friendly and engaging. We enjoyed the mini story time, mini disco and exploring the woodland area, plus the little trail hunt, and rides. My opinion is... if you have children 5 or under, this is a perfect little attraction to take them to. I'd read previous reviews, and thought it may be hit or miss, but honestly, as a daddy with a little 3 year old girl, I thought it was lovely. Memories created.

Visited the Halloween 🎃 night last night, it was amazing! The kids loved it. Been here lots of times but definitely the best one yet! A lot of effort has been put in and it shows. The characters were superb! Definitely coming back!

Haven't been for a about 4 years due to the price increases however not much has changed. Had a great day but think now kids am 6 it's just overdone and more for younger ones. Had a great time for the teachers' day made the most out of every part and kids round rides countless times. But don't think we will return now till they have kids.
Darrelle S — Google review
We've visited Wonderland for 3 years in a row. Each time has been a good experience. Whilst the attractions remain the same, there's always new & fun things to do at the park. From face painting, hair braiding, decorating biscuits, performances from characters, meeting princesses and having a tea party with the mad hatter. The kids always enjoy the experience. There is an inflatable obstacle course within the castle that is overseen by a member of staff and plenty of toilet facilities. There are a couple of food places where I had a really sickly beautiful biscoff waffle. Coffee isn't great but they can't have it all! Also good to note, the Mad Hatter is played so so well by the member of staff employed. He really goes the extra mile with the children. 10/10 for him!
Hannah L — Google review
I want to thank one member of staff in particular, emily duff. We came to the halloween night friday evening, My son has autism and he couldn't handle the jumping out and screaming at him, he was so frightened we just couldn't calm him down. Emily came and sat with him, showing its just dress up and even walked round with my son, calming him and making him smile. She went above and beyond for him and we are so extremely greatful. Thank you so much emily, you truly are a angel xx

Felt sorry for the girl behind the information desk when an elderly gentleman asked for some information on something out of the area. She didn't know the answer, so she offered to google it for him, for which he said, "I could have done that myself", why didn't he? Poor girl. There's not much to see here. it looks like a half-hearted job. More entertaining in the car park.
John H — Google review
It’s free & it could be interesting, to a degree. The fact that it gets flooded frequently probably presents challenges insofar as what to do with the place & the space going forwards. It seems under-utilised, rooms are half empty. Why fill them extensively if the next flood isn’t far off though?
Toxteth G — Google review
Interesting use of the old building . With a collection of the Merrythought bears & soft toys. The late Sunday effluent release into the river was a spoiler to a great day
Alan W — Google review
Lovely old building and quite a bit on the Merrythought Bear factory and local flooding, which was interesting, but not many actual exhibits...possibly due to the risk of flooding? Worth a look all the same.
Chris K — Google review
This is really worth a visit and the atmosphere is amazing it is free we went one evening so there was parking just outside the gate

The Swan Taphouse is a charming pub with cozy rooms and a rustic restaurant, offering classic bar vibes and scenic river views. While staying above the pub, guests can expect a lively atmosphere with beer-fueled conversations and staff revelry. The picturesque surroundings of this destination offer delightful bed and breakfast accommodations that immerse visitors in local culture. Each inn or guesthouse has its own unique character, from traditional Georgian buildings to rustic cottages nestled against lush green hills.
We visited The Swan Taphouse in Ironbridge yesterday (01/09/25) and had a wonderful experience. My wife had the half rack of ribs, I had a burger with pulled pork barbecue sauce, and the kids went for chicken nuggets with chips and beans. From the outset, the service was excellent. The waitress proactively told us there were a few items that had run out and even wrote them down on a piece of paper so we knew exactly what wasn’t available. She then talked us through different options—really on the ball and attentive. Throughout the meal, the staff checked in, asking how everything was, which added to the great experience. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the rustic interior is charming. The food was tasty and satisfying—nothing was wrong at all. Overall, a really enjoyable meal and we’d definitely recommend it.
Alpha T — Google review
We visited the pub to listen to a local singer who was fantastic. The pub itself has a very cozy atmosphere, very clean with friendly staff. My complaint is half the menu wasn’t available, no fish, no chicken and a few other items on a decently small menu already, had garlic bread as a side but it was very hard. Parking isn’t great, but the public car park down the road is free after 5pm.
Fish T — Google review
The food was alright nothing spectacular or anything to shout about. Meat was over cooked and portion size for brisket is questionable. Gravy was very fatty and the mash potato was more mash cheese than potato. Cool bathroom. Coca Cola was only diet and didn’t taste of the premium brand that we all love and cherish. King regards Joan and Nigel green

Stood at the bar a good few minutes with three behind the bar. 1 serving, 1 putting glass in the pot wash and a third stood with her fingers on a cold wine bottle. Eventually got served. I love service with a smile, unfortunately not received here. A bonus there was a lovely band playing. Did not eat but the food looked good coming out. So come on folks it's all about customer service, improve it!

Groupon afternoon tea for me and the hubby. The food was very nice and more than enough, service was a little slow though. Thought the waitress could have been a little happier in her work... had to ask for the coffees which were supposed to be unlimited but almost felt guilty to have dared to ask for a second cup. Perhaps it was because it was a Groupon voucher 🤫

Beautiful views lovely atmosphere but no set time for kitchen closure. The gammon wasn't available even though on specials we had to order quick as kitchen was closing at 8pm??? Even our selves and others want to order.. We could only have desserts if someone was in kitchen nefore we left. Food was excellent ribs mmmm i would go again if i cpyld mange my evening meal at nursing home times.
Cazcrete — Google review
Had afternoon tea here as a birthday present, was not impressed with the service at all, we were seated at the table, after 20 mins of not being bothered with we had to ask for our drinks, the tea pot it was served in was chipped, the sugar pot had used sugar packets and spoons from previous customers, after another 10 mins we had to ask to order the food which we had been told was already put through not asked if we wanted to add extras as stated on the menu, half way through eating our mains they brought the dessert over to us and placed it on the table next to us for when we were ready, the afternoon tea comes with unlimited drinks, asking for another pot of tea seemed like it was a problem, ribs were very well cooked too. Was not impressed at all and will not be returning.

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has stood the test of time, renowned for its iconic burgers and crispy fries. If you find yourself in Telford, this particular McDonald's offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff who provide efficient table service. While it can get quite bustling with lively groups of customers, making it an ideal pit stop during your shopping spree, be prepared for some noise!
The service was great, the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was nice however the restaurant wasn’t the cleanest but I have seen worse. If you’re looking for somewhere for lunch, would recommend here.
Rhys J — Google review
If you come to this fast food restaurant expecting "fast" food, you've got another thing coming. I waited 25 minutes with staff who ignored me when I tried to talk to them, only to find out that they clearly lost our order. All in all it took half an hour for 2 cold wraps with no apology or explanation.
Oliver J — Google review
I order through just eat. I ordered 2 Big Mac meals 2 double cheeseburgers and 20 nuggets came to like 33 with delivery. I only received my 20 nuggets. I have contacted just eat. But when I rang up to try to arrange for me come and collect my missing food. No one could be bothered to answer the phone. I rang them 7 times at least. I am not happy with how they can mess up my order and only give me one item when clearly on my receipt I had more.
Bex F — Google review
Waited by till for an hour on 14th may around 5pm to sort an issue. Seems like delivery is obviously a priority in this store. Ordered food and refused to give me my order and wanted me to pay twice for food I had ordered. Said I ordered to wrong place even though I had proof of receipt. Wouldn't even listen to explanation of what happened and didn't even smile. Really awful service. Been going here as a local for years. Definitely need to sack the lot of them and replace the team if they are leaving customers ignored and making sure their delivery guys get their free drinks and orders fast. Absolute joke. Redhead manager was the one who couldn't sort it out. Looked at us like it was a scam and I've already eaten it. Horrible service. Employ proper employees who can provide satisfying service
Dan H — Google review
Waited 10 minutes for my order which was 1 chocolate milkshake, when I went to the counter to query the rather rude young girl said, “yeah the machines broke, what do you want instead?”. So if I hadn’t approached them, I could have been sat there for who knows how long.

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's, the iconic fast-food chain renowned for its delicious burgers and crispy fries, has been a staple in the dining scene for years. With over 1,270 locations across the UK, it remains a beloved choice for families and individuals alike. While some aspects of their service could use enhancement—like improving table service to create a better experience for both guests and staff—the overall atmosphere is inviting. Many patrons appreciate the spacious refitted restaurants that offer comfort while enjoying their meals.
I'll be honest, the drive thru was quiet and I got served really quickly. The food was hot, tasty plus the order was correct. I found a parking space and enjoyed the food in my car. The car park is very tight to navigate though.
Arran S — Google review
The worst it’s ever been. Since the renovation it’s got so bad in there. Only went as it’s convenient but I don’t think I will anymore. Rather wait an extra 20 minutes for something edible
Lauren W — Google review
I’ve ordered from here several times and the experience is consistently disappointing. They never include sauces, not even the ones I specifically paid extra for. It’s not just a one-time mistake it happens every single time. They also forget basic items like straws how am gonna drink milkshake!!! and sauces, and when you try to call, no one ever answers the phone they never ever answer I ordered a vegetarian burger and they sent me a chicken burger instead, which is completely unacceptable. Very, very disappointed with the service Unfortunately, it’s clear that McDonald’s doesn’t care about their customers anymore. Very, very disappointed with the service
Join N — Google review
Waited over 15 mins in the drive thru and 10 mins parked up. Kids food was fine but I had basically half a portion of large fries that were like warm and chewy, burger was fine. Really need to speed up the service, car park and drive thru is a terrible design, end up blocking people getting in and out. Probably won't return to this one.
Dave N — Google review
4 times I have ordered a delivery from this place, and 4 times I have had food missing! Don't bother! It's not hard to have 2 people check every order leaving the dump! The food tastes like cardboard!! 😫 🤒 😷
Stewart R — Google review
Ordered online for delivery, order arrived with main item missing, they can’t even get an order right. Not the first time this has happened anyone who answers the phone is the manager and they don’t care because you get the attitude. It needs a real manager to check the order before they go out because most of the staff obviously don’t care. Sort your staff out or your business will suffer. Lost me and my family as a customer. Will see if I get my £7.99 refunded.

This McDonald's has got to be my favourite in my local area. The food and drinks are good, the restaurant and Toilet falsities are kept clean and tidy. And the service is good! 😀
Jamie B — Google review
Anytime of day even if the restaurant itself is quiet the food here is cold, I’ve never waited less than 15 minutes but usually up to 60 mins for “fast food”. Inside or drive thru is the same, it’s literally the worst McDonalds. Avoid.

A cool and unique looking bar with a relaxing ambience. We visited during lunch time so it was quiet. The staff were friendly. There was a good selection of food choices with vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are reasonable and everyone enjoyed there choices. However, the oreo milkshake was a disappointment and far too watery, even with staff trying to rectify it. We ended up replacing it with a sundae which was delicious. It's worth another visit to try the rest of the menu.

Only 3 stars, sorry. And it's only for staff, they were great even though only 4 of them during quite busy period and they were running around the place with no time off. We've been there on Sunday after lunch time. We've been told it's an hour waiting for food but we agreed to that as we've seen other portions and decided it looks very tasty. And also restaurant on its own looks great, very unique, done with great taste. Anyway, lady told us it's an hour waiting time for food. And my question is - why only 4 people on shift during such a busy time? It was sunny Sunday, day before bank holiday and half term. I think some more people should be on shift as by the time we were finishing food not many people left there as tbh who wants to wait for so long for food. Also, cleanliness should become more priority as floor was sticky, especially in toilets. Also I asked for baby changing unit and I was given keys to disabled toilet with no baby changing unit available? Anyway, food was very good, portions quite big as well. So well done to staff for handling such a situation today as I believe it was very tough day for them. And restaurant is fog friendly as well

Second maybe third time here.... Thursday night before Easter bank holiday. A strange bunch of customers gathered by the fire thing.... like star wars cantina bar. The 'DJ' couldn't finish playing a record for more than 50% of the record... or at the right speed. Drinks okay... but they don't keep Jack Daniels ? We were 2 of the 10 customers in there. Dismal

Absolutely amazing night out! Live music was incredible followed by a good DJ. Massive shout out to Duncan and Amy who work there. Duncan helped my friend and I feel safe and he really looked after us. Amy somehow remembered our drink order despite a hugely busy night and was so lovely despite all the silly questions. Thank you all and we will definitely return!

Review is purely for the nightclub. Security was comparable to an airport. Saw a woman refused entry without ID who was clearly in her 40's at least. They scanned my ID and the scan of it appeared on a big TV for everyone in the queue to see? Later they made us queue to go out into the smoking area, which was enclosed and not full. We couldn't take our drinks out there. Considering they are so concerned about our safety, you'd think they wouldn't want us to leave our drinks behind and open to potential spiking. Later on a girl was being sick in the toilets and security wouldn't let me go in there to pee before I went home "for my own safety". I've never been anywhere else so strict on security in my life and I'll unfortunately not be returning as a result. Telford nightlife is already almost non-existent and this is not helping. The DJs were great though. I'll go to the Shrewsbury shed to see them instead.

Very cool bar, great food and big selection of beers! Would love to revisit at night and see it busy, as we went during lunch and it was very quiet. Great music and ambience, bar staff very pleasant and friendly. Loved it!

Annoyed as I got approached by a drunk man who was randomly accusing me of spiking people, which obviously I wasn’t, then when I was explaining to security what happened and to please search me - as I don’t want anyone to think that of me - they wouldn’t. I then proceeded to say to the person accusing me of it that I’m sorry that he’s got the wrong idea of me, then he threatened me and I somehow get kicked out for “agitating the situation” even though I was being calm and polite and a grown man was threatening to “smash my head in”
