Nestled on Clearwater Beach, Sandpearl Resort is a luxurious and award-winning accommodation offering elegant rooms with tropical decor and stunning water views. The resort boasts exceptional amenities including a pool, spa, and beachfront dining at the renowned Caretta on the Gulf and casual Tate Island Grill. With spacious accommodations and exciting activities, it's an ideal choice for a unique vacation experience. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of the lobby Marketplace.
Husband and I stayed here for our anniversary staycation. We’re locals to the area. It was everything we needed and more. Absolutely gorgeous hotel, clean and bright. Service was wonderful and we were even surprised with a card and chocolates in our room congratulating us on our anniversary. We got a room overlooking the gulf and it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The restaurant was incredible, we couldn’t get enough of the food there. I’m a relatively small lady and I nearly finished the cowboy ribeye. 😅 I cannot recommend SandPearl enough. Thank you to all the staff that helped make our weekend wonderful.

The best hotel in the area!!! The best service from the moment you get out of your car until you get to your room!!! The staff makes you feel at home! The rooms are impeccable. I went to decorate a room for a surprise for my client, and my client definitely made the best choice of suite to surprise his wife on her birthday!!! @party.place I would come back and recommend it a thousand times!!! Thank you…

Our first time at Sandpearl this past week was incredible and we can't wait to come back someday! We celebrated our babymoon, and couldn't have asked for a better property to stay at. Our gulf view room was soooo clean and felt brand-new, every single staff member we encountered each day was so friendly and went above and beyond for us. Couldn't recommend this place more, so happy we chose Sandpearl!

We’ve been staying at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater for over 15 years, and it’s still our favorite weekend getaway! This time for a birthday as always the property is spotless, beautifully maintained, and truly family-friendly. Our kids loved the beach — soft sand, clear water, and plenty of fun. Olivia at the front desk was so welcoming, Manny helped us with our luggage, and Josh at the pool was outstanding. Dinner at Caretta was wonderful. Room 802 was lovely, clean, and had gorgeous views. We also loved the live piano music in the lobby each evening — such a classy touch. After all these years, the Sandpearl still feels like our home away from home. We can’t wait to come back! Kudos to management well done indeed.

Celebrating a milestone birthday at this beautiful resort was Amazing! The staff are there to accommodate your every need. Our family had the best experience and the amenities are wonderful. Everything around is within walking distance, and having valet is extremely helpful. The resort is beautiful and so clean. The food and drinks are delicious. Thank you for the great memories, and we will visit again!

Been to Clearwater Beach many many times, but our first time at SandPearl. Our room was more than we expected. Beautiful clean bathroom, fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook, and a living room for plenty of guests. Had a pretty good view of the Gulf and we enjoyed sitting on one of our two balconies. We were on the top floor, but the elevator speed was tremendous, so time to get to and from our room was not a factor. Loved the proximity to many of the restaurants, especially the Palm Pavilion. Will definitely go back. My only suggestion that worked better for us is to use Frenchy's beach chairs instead of Pearl's beach chairs. Closer to the water and our older bodies thought they were way more comfortable.
Phil W — Google review
Sandpearl is so nice! It is clean, and so enjoyable. The pool is beautiful and big. The nice thing too about the pool area is if towels are left too long in chairs they remove them for other guests. They also make sure you belong at the pool with the hotel wristbands. Staff is so nice too. It's a wonderful place :)

Manager Santiago went above and beyond to make our experience special and help us correct our reservation when part of our party unexpectedly could not join. We were impressed by his kindness, hospitality and generosity. Beautiful, clean rooms with attention to detail and tasteful decor.

The Sheraton Sand Key Resort offers upscale rooms, some with ocean views, and a private beach. Guests can enjoy modern dining options and an outdoor pool. Rustys Bistro at the resort is known for its Thanksgiving buffet featuring a variety of delectable dishes including Gulf favorites like cocktail shrimp, oysters, and crab claws. The carving station offers citrus-marinated turkey and other savory options. Additionally, there's a chef's fall dessert table with cakes, pies, cookies, and more.
We came 2 weeks ago. Loved our stay. The rooms are very nice and clean. We had a beautiful view. We came for a night and decided to extend our stay to another. The hotel is very pretty but the restaurant is so scary, we actually made Reservations with the family (6 of us) to eat the first night and not leave the hotel and were surprise that the restaurant at 8p had nobody but us. When we sat down, the cups on the table were so disgustingly dirty we decided to walk out. There’s many other good places to eat around with in walking Distance. Besides that, i think the hotel should offer umbrellas and chair like every other hotel does around here. The property is very well located and the beach here is beautiful. The staff in the front was very nice and accomodating. We will stay here for the location and how comfortable the rooms are, but if you guys want to bump it up, fix the main restaurant because it makes the experience feel like the hotel is outdated and you are also losing business.

We hosted our daughter’s quinceañera at Sheraton Sand Key Resort, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We also celebrated our oldest’s quince there in 2023, and we knew we had to come back for 2025 because of how incredible the staff and event team are. The entire team was over-the-top accommodating, warm, and genuinely attentive to every detail. They made us feel so welcome and cared for every step of the way. The event coordinator and staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to truly enjoy the night and create unforgettable memories with our family and friends. Truly the best staff ever — professional, kind, and exceptional at what they do. We are so grateful and couldn’t imagine celebrating anywhere else!
Christina D — Google review
I don’t even know where to begin. We booked the Sheraton for our anniversary trip (which they were told). No acknowledgement or special treatment from the hotel to celebrate, but OK. When we checked in, we asked for a quiet room, not near the elevator, with no connections to other rooms. The front desk woman said ‘we should check out our current room first as it’s very nice.’ The room we were assigned connected to TWO other rooms. In the middle of the night we had to call downstairs and complain about noise. The next morning we requested to be moved to a new room. Then, room service. The first day it didn’t arrive on time. We called and asked where it was. We were told ‘it’s coming.’ 3 minutes later, we hear the phone ring in a nearby room that’s not ours. Then our phone rings. The manager tells us ‘we didn’t select a delivery time.’ Hmmm…just bring it up when it’s ready, please. Room service debacle 2: this time WE did everything right on the order sheet. The order didn’t arrive on time…again. We called. We are told the manager(?) didn’t arrive on time that morning and they couldn’t locate her. So we just cancelled the order which messed up our morning schedule the day of check out. On top of all this, we were not given our free dessert voucher at check in. We were not given proper bike rental instructions so we had to ask. Also, beach chairs and umbrellas are not free - you have to rent at a steep rate from a third party company. Fast forward a few days later and not only were we charged $50+ for the bike rental, but I also have other random charges from the Sheraton on my credit card that were NOT part of my final agreed upon bill. This place is an absolute mess and should not be associated with Marriott.
Rebecca H — Google review
The front desk staff was great!! The beach access is great and it’s the reason we chose to stay there. The room was nicely renovated HOWEVER there was a gigantic roach in the room which ruined the stay for me. I realize it’s Florida and they like to call them Palmetto bugs. I don’t care what you call them. They are disgusting. We happened to be checking out in the middle of the night anyway which is why we were up with the lights on. The front desk basically said it’s Florida and there’s nothing they can do about it.
Laila M — Google review
What seemed online as a 4 star resort, felt in reality like a 2 or 3 star experience. Room was clean and up to date with a decent balcony but it’s mid from there. The pool area is decent but it took over an hour just to get a towel despite it being not too crowded. I am mainly disappointed that on top of a resort fee and a steep $25 parking fee, you don’t get any form of free lounging by the beach. $55 for two loungers and $15 per beach chair! I’ve stayed at many beach resorts in florida and that was a first. Thankfully i booked with points, but if i was paying the rate of $350-400 a night for this off season october weekend, i would be disappointed with the lack of value. 2.5/5

I enjoyed everything about this hotel, except for the fact that I was not able to use a luggage cart. We had to take 3 trips when leaving to get stuff to our vehicle. Room was good, clean. Set up a little odd with bathroom door and counter, and the table was set up in front of full body mirror.
Beki M — Google review
An excellent hotel without a doubt! I’ve recently attended several conferences held here, and everything went wonderfully. The service is outstanding, as well as the food and the staff! It has exclusive access to one of the best beaches in Clearwater, with some of the most beautiful sunsets! An excellent place to enjoy a short vacation or a few business days.
Diego C — Google review
This hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but in reality, it feels more like a 2-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the service and quality fell far below expectations. When we checked in, the front desk staff was unfriendly and appeared to prioritize giving out the worst rooms first. We were given keys to a room we couldn’t even unlock. When we returned to the front desk, we were told to go back up and try again, and if it still didn’t work, to call maintenance. The key still didn’t work, so we called maintenance, who changed the battery in the lock. Once inside, we were hit with a loud noise from the AC unit. We asked the maintenance tech to take a look, and although he removed the filters, it made no difference. He suggested we request a different room, saying other rooms had quieter units. However, when we returned to the front desk, we were told all AC units were the same. After insisting, the supervisor got involved and sent the maintenance tech to check other rooms. Eventually, they found a room that was slightly less noisy, but still far from comfortable. We accepted it because we had no other choice, but the noise remained disruptive—especially at night. To make matters worse, we had booked a room for 5 people, but upon arrival were charged extra for a fifth bed. We were told the “room for 5” only includes two queen beds. This was extremely misleading and unprofessional. The only positive experience was at checkout, where the staff member was polite and kind—unlike the rest of the staff we encountered. Overall, this was not a 4-star experience by any standard. Poor customer service, misleading booking practices, and uncomfortable accommodations made our stay disappointing and stressful.

Opal Sands Resort is a modern property with sleek rooms and suites, offering a walk-in pool, spa, and chic dining options. The Thanksgiving brunch at Sea-guini features a variety of delectable dishes from chilled seafood to omelets and waffles, as well as prime rib and turkey carving stations. The resort's location is less than a mile from Clearwater's top restaurants and shops at Pier 60, providing guests with easy access to the lively ambiance of the area.
What a great experience! This was my first time at Opal Sands and I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel! It was beautifully done, the rooms were spacious, clean, and the view was incredible! Loved the nice surprise of a pantry on each floor stocked with water, snacks, and fresh cookies at 2pm. Also the ice cream cart poolside was such a treat! Staff was kind and accommodating and the shops were well stocked with great boutique items. We enjoyed our overnight stay so much they we re-booked for my kids fall break in two weeks. Well done Opal Sands!!

Our stay was perfect from beginning to end. Since our experience 2 1/2 years ago wasn’t as wonderful , Harrison took care of us personally. He really is an asset to your OPAL brand! Lucy in the dining room has been wonderful. She was our waitress all three mornings. She is very personable and friendly! The staff at the pool couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! No doubt we’ll be back next year to enjoy this amazing resort experience. Thanks to everyone!

Worth every single penny! It was our first time staying here (we were on our honeymoon) and I’ll definitely be recommending to everyone. The spa is incredible as well. First time going to a spa, and I can’t wait to go back. The staff here make you feel like a million bucks! The rooms, the views, the food, everything is perfect.

After our daughter bragged so much about this beautiful resort we finally had the opportunity to do a staycation here this past weekend. We were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived to valet, we were greeted with nothing but five star service. Checking in at the front desk was quick, professional, incredible service. They upgraded our room which was incredible. Our bags arrived in our room by the ever so friendly Wes. We had a beautiful card waiting our arrival, chocolate covered strawberries and Chamoagne in the refrigerator. The room overlooking the ocean on 15th floor was gorgeous. The room was so spacious, comfortable and clean. The first night we dined in Seaguini inside the resort. Fabulous food and service, highly recommend. We had the most amazing stay, from the pool, dining, gift shop, beach, our stay was five star all the way. Every single person we encountered gave the best service. This resort will be one of our favorites and we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you to all who made our stay so incredible and unforgettable.
MICHELLE C — Google review
This was the first time staying at this resort and I have to say I was very impressed. The hotel staff including the valet, reception and pool staff were nothing less than exceptional. The room was very clean and the views were amazing! I was surprised to find out that we could use the other connecting hotel amenities which was nice. It was very convenient that there were cookies, drinks and light breakfast items available of each floor. The only negative I would have is that my stay was too short. I look forward to my next visit which will be much longer so I can enjoy more of the beautiful resort and surrounding local businesses.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater Beach last week, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was top-tier—every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. A special shoutout to the front desk team who went above and beyond to help us overnight a package from home—a cell phone we desperately needed. Their quick thinking and support made a potentially stressful situation completely seamless. The resort itself is stunning, with modern, spacious rooms that offer breathtaking views of the Gulf. We especially loved the thoughtful amenities: each floor has a complimentary snack pantry (a lifesaver after beach time!), and the daily 2:00 PM ice cream social was a sweet surprise that added a fun, nostalgic touch to our afternoons. The pool and hot tub area were immaculate and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beach. Dining options on-site were excellent, with fresh seafood and creative cocktails that made every meal feel special. “SeaGuini” makes their pasta in house and our server, Francesco was very charming. Opal Sands truly exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a luxurious beach escape, this resort delivers in every way. We can't wait to return!
Robert I — Google review
I'm not really sure where I can start this review off, but let me just say this is me And my girlfriend's new favorite place to go. We normally go to Myrtle Beach every year. That will stop after we visited Here the service was above and beyond. the food was amazing. The atmosphere was great and the hotel was so clean. Not to mention every single employee made you feel welcomed and right at home, very attentive and gave us everything we needed and more. I could type a 5 page paragraph about this hotel seriously. One of the best I will not even consider booking anywhere else. This is our new to go vacation spot. It is a all in luxury hotel for a very affordable price, multiple restaurants on-site, multiple activities and let me just start by saying. If you're worried about the resort fees or anything, they are definitely going Into the resort and you are getting your money's worth complementary ice cream by the pool, everyday complementary pantry on every single floor stocked in the morning and afternoon, look no farther. If you are looking for a nice luxury vacation at an affordable price, this place goes above and beyond. Not to mention you get to use there's sister hotel that has a bridge connecting both of them. That also has more restaurants on that side plus 2 more pools and a hot tub. You're basically getting 2 high end luxury hotels for the price of one. I could go on and on but I will just end it off with This is a must see for yourself hotel.
Big M — Google review
Staying here was a special treat from my husband that we usually don't have extra funds to splurge on and we loved absolutely everything about this place and cannot wait to stay again! He definitely made the perfect choice choosing Opal Sands! The valet parking guys were so efficient and kind and never left us waiting at all. The view was absolutely incredible and the room was so cozy and clean. The bed, pillows and robes were heavenly and housekeeping made sure we had everything we needed our entire stay, Breakfast was delicious and the pool and hot tub were spotlessly clean and so inviting. The only slightly disappointing part was that we weren't informed we could use the hot tub and pools of the sister resort as well which has a skywalk that connects the 2 resorts. Another guest had told us about that on our last day but it still didn't take away from our experience as a whole. We cannot wait to come stay again!

Nestled along the shores of Clearwater Beach, Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach is a modern upscale hotel offering stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico and Clearwater Beach Marina. The well-appointed guest rooms and suites feature en-suite bathrooms, dining areas, pull-out sofas, and private balconies with ocean views. Guests can enjoy Pan-Asian cuisine at the on-site restaurant and unwind at two bars.
Great place to stay! Every single worker (valet, front desk, housekeeping, servers) was friendly and welcoming. Room was spotless and included two reusable aluminum water bottles. They have filtered drinking water on each floor with the ice machines. The pool is a nice size, not really kid-friendly as it quickly slopes from about 3' 9" to 5' in the middle, but water was good temp and decently sized. We only ate at the restaurant for breakfast one day but the food was good. We loved the location being close to the pier, it made for each walking to other places.

The entire stay was awesome. Friendly staff that went above and beyond. The Valet service was great. The restaurant breakfast was delicious and way better than regular hotel breakfast. The entire vibe and atmosphere made for a great experience. We also made use of the chair and umbrella on the beach we got with our room. Overall fantastic experience and great place to stay on vacation!!!!

This was our first time staying in Clearwater, and we were so pleasantly surprised by the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach! From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, from the front desk to the bar and pool staff. You can tell they really care about creating a great experience for guests. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotless; everything feels fresh, clean, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable with some of the most incredible balcony views. Whether you’re an early riser watching the sunrise or relaxing in the evening for sunset, you can’t go wrong, the views are just stunning. The location is unbeatable. You’re steps away from the beach, restaurants, and shops, so it’s super easy to walk anywhere you’d want to go. The pool area is gorgeous and well kept, with plenty of seating and a fun, relaxing vibe for both adults and families. We ate at the on-site restaurant several times during our stay — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — and each meal was delicious. The breakfast buffet was one of our favorites, and dinner on the patio during sunset was amazing. This has easily become one of our favorite vacation spots. We’ll definitely be coming back and plan to make this a family tradition for years to come. Highly recommend the Wyndham Grand if you’re looking for the perfect Clearwater getaway!

Excellent and memorable vacation at the Wyndham Grand. Very, very clean hotel and clean lobby, neat decorating, comfortable, great upbeat music upon lobby entry, cold AC, infused cold fruit water right when you walk in, friendly greetings and service, great bar, excellent food. Sushi is good. The pool area is relaxing, clean, and really nice. Situated within short walking distance of all the fun stuff! The beach, cabanas, chairs, and umbrellas are literally steps from the lobby. Overall, very impressive hotel in every way. Great vibes, put together with all the little classy touches. Wow. I'll be back....soon.

Was impressed by the modern decor and cleanliness of the rooms, the elevators are the best I've seen in Florida, very speedy. The bad- The pool area is not big enough for the amount of guests that are there. The breakfast buffet was undesirable, beware of service fee. PARKING FEE $40 per day, valet only unless you're in timeshare-self parking $40 per day. Welcome to Clearwater Florida.

The housekeeping team specially Oltjana did an amazing job during my stay. She was very professional ,polite and the room was spotless every day, towels were always fresh, and they even noticed my preference for extra pillows. Truly top-notch service. Highly recommend this place .

The Clearwater Beach Marriott Resort on Sand Key is a luxurious all-suite hotel located on the Gulf of Mexico. It offers well-appointed guest suites with separate living rooms and private balconies overlooking the magical gulf views. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool with a waterfall, a casual steakhouse serving prime steaks and fresh seafood, a luxury spa, wellness center, fitness center, business center with meeting rooms, and a dedicated children's club.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Marriott in Sand Key. The rooms were clean, the employees were amazing, and it had such a fun atmosphere. We were traveling with our 17 month old so the splash pad was a life saver!! It was separate from the larger pool so we didn’t have to worry about him running off! They have everything you need on site or you could easily get around by the local trolley. The shuttle to the beach and umbrella/chair vouchers were also a great add on! Would def recommend!

We had such a wonderful family stay at the Clearwater Beach Marriott on Sand Key! The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully set up for families with babies, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The pool area is incredible, especially the cabanas, they’re fully stocked, shaded, comfortable, with tvs, fridges etc. perfect for enjoying the sun while keeping an eye on little ones. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the food and drinks across all outlets are great. The location is fantastic—right next to Columbia Restaurant and a cute little breakfast spot, with easy trolley access to the beach. Honestly, the pool is so inviting you might not even want to leave! Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing and baby-friendly getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at Marriott Sand Key yesterday. I stayed one night with a friend to celebrate her birthday, and the staff and service was great! The room was spacious and clean, but most important, the bed was SO comfortable! I never sleep well at hotels, but I slept great last night! The food and drinks at the pool were delicious, and there’s a number of water sports options available. It is a family resort, so there were a lot of kids at the pool, and they had family activities/games scheduled throughout the day like “limbo challenge” etc. They will also shuttle you to the beach and give you vouchers for chairs and an umbrella. We called them when we were ready to come back and they were there within 5 minutes. I also appreciated that they had a buffet breakfast option for those in a rush, and a sit down menu as well. Their bistro has specialty coffees, gelato, and a good assortment of snacks. Overall I’m very impressed at the service and amenities here and will definitely be back! Special thank you to the front desk and concierge Beth for giving us extra special treatment!

The room is great, also very nice pool bar and polite staff. But we are in 2025 and they still keep a macaw (big bird) in a very small cage for entertainment. I spent hours (5-6) by the swimming pool and the bird stayed there on a 35 degrees, in a small prison, feeling extremely warm. I really believe there are many options for entertaining the customers and not using a poor animal. Besides being small, there is literally nothing for the bird to do there. Marriott is big chain and in the US and I would never expected to see something to regressive like that.

Very nice stay; excellent staff. Every single staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful - especially Josh! Buffet breakfast on weekends was very good. However, just an ok breakfast on the Monday we left. If you’re looking for a quiet pool environment, this is not it. Many children and lots of babies in diapers in the pool. Not sure why babies are not in baby pool they have onsite. Loud music and lots of football on tv’s and drinking. We would return, but perhaps check in on a Monday through Thursday departure. It didn’t bother us, because we’d just finished a very leisurely beach trip a couple weeks prior. Several good restaurants close and a cute little strip shopping center. Sand Key is a beauty area and definitely worth another visit.

Daniel and Ruth were so nice and knowledgeable, they helped with my check in and answered all the questions I had, outstanding customer service!!! The next morning I was greeted by Eyleen at the bistro who is great at her job, service with a smile, from the moment I arrived everyone treated me and my family like family!! Above and beyond service, HIGHLY RECOMEND MARRIOT RESORT SAND KEY, For dinner we went to Watercolor restaurant here at the resort, our server was Lori she was absolutely amazing, she knew about every dish and marinades, had great recommendations and her service was outstanding, Katie the bartender made excellent drinks and she was very friendly, kasandra brought out the dessert with a smile. They interacted with my 6 year old son and honestly I felt like family there, we met the manager Adam who was very kind , they went above and beyond for us, The Watercolor restaurant is right on the bay, we saw dolphins too! What an amazing experience!!!! The hotel is beautiful, amazing views, outstanding service , 10 stars!!!!! I can't wait to come back!!!!

The staff and service personnel are excellent!! Each offering constant professionalism while being very attentive and friendly. The food was exquisite and we all enjoyed everything we ordered in each of the hotel's eateries. We spotted ants and roaches in our room on three occasions ... which was awful. We were told prior to checking in that we had immediate access to the beach with a 200' walking distance directly to the beach - far from the truth. The entire experience was therefore merely acceptable but sadly not what we had expected at all.

We had our wedding at the Marriott Resort Sand Key on Clearwater Beach, and it was an incredible experience! The venue itself is beautiful—newly renovated, with a stunning atmosphere that made for the perfect backdrop to our day. The beach views, the elegant spaces, and the overall vibe were just what we were hoping for. The food was amazing, and the staff was attentive, professional, and truly wanted everything to be perfect. While we did experience a few changes in our wedding coordinator due to staffing shifts (which initially made me a little nervous), in the end, everything came together beautifully thanks to Larissa. The team was responsive, accommodating, and made sure every detail was taken care of. We’re so happy we chose this venue and would absolutely recommend it to other couples looking for a romantic beachside wedding with top-notch service!

Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach, an IHG Hotel is a popular mid-range resort in Clearwater offering a variety of amenities. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the main beach area and close to shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Guests can enjoy the on-site seafood restaurant, Jimmy's Fish House, as well as nightly entertainment from local musicians. The hotel also features a heated outdoor pool, a well-equipped fitness center, conference facilities, and a business center.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Efrain, the night attendant at the Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach, was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable — guiding us to where breakfast was served and sharing great tips about what’s available in the area. His kindness, professionalism, and local insight truly made a difference. Thank you, Efrain, for your outstanding service!

If you're looking for a clean, affordable, well-located hotel in Clearwater Beach with stunning Gulf views, the Holiday Inn is a solid choice. It's within walking distance to the beach, surrounded by great dining options, and even has jet ski rentals right next door. The on-site restaurant with outdoor Gulf view seating is a nice bonus. One great perk is that your stay includes free passes to Splash Harbor Water Park, which is perfect for families. While the room was very clean and comfortable overall, the bed could use an update — the mattress was too firm and worn. Still, the views, location, and water park access made the stay worthwhile.

the clearwater beach Holiday Inn & suites is a nice place to stay. rooms were clean but dated. front desk is very slow to check in an check out. the restaurant on site had a great breakfast and very good supper . and the October sunset while eating dinner couldn't of been any better. the live music each night was nice too!

We had a mixed experience during our stay. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is pretty good—close to the beach and attractions. The pool area is decent and our room was spacious, which worked well for our family. However, the negatives were hard to ignore. The most frustrating part was the loud music—at 10:30 pm, it felt like the speakers were in our room. It’s baffling that the hotel would allow music that loud so late, disturbing guests trying to sleep just to entertain a handful of people at the pool. If this is meant to be a family-friendly hotel, the music should stop no later than 9 pm. Also, while our room was clean, it had a moldy smell that was unpleasant. Lastly, the bartender in the restaurant was quite rude, which contrasted sharply with the kind lady working at the poolside bar. Overall, some good aspects, but serious issues with noise and service that make it hard to fully recommend.

I took my family to stay at Holiday in Clearwater for a vacation, and unfortunately, our experience didn’t meet expectations. Upon arrival, I realized the property is not oceanfront—you have to walk to get to the beach, which wasn’t clearly communicated ahead of time. When we entered our suite, the cleanliness was noticeably lacking. The bathtub was dirty, there was hair on the floor, and I even had to kill a bug in the room. The bathroom door was off-track and extremely hard to close, which made things inconvenient. For the price we paid for one night, I expected much better upkeep and cleanliness. Additionally, the ice machines were broken on several floors, including ours, which was frustrating. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and upbeat, and they did allow us to check in early, which we appreciated. However, the overall condition of the room left us disappointed. With some updates and better attention to cleanliness, this could be a much better experience for guests.

Very nice for a older hotel. Needs some minor work but it was clean and enjoyable. Not really a resort in my opinion but charge extra fees saying its resort fees. Crazy to be charged a extra $30 per day to park at a hotel u staying at with no security.

We recently stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach by IHG and overall, we had a great experience. I’m giving it 4 stars, there were a few quirks, but nothing that would stop me from staying here again. In fact, I’d highly recommend it. Our room was clean, updated, and in a convenient location close to both the elevator and lobby. One thing I really appreciated was the four large drawers, which made unpacking and staying organized super easy. The price was reasonable, especially considering the area. While the hotel isn’t directly on the beach, it’s just a short walk away. Still, a golf cart shuttle would be a great addition, walking in the Florida heat can be brutal. Our room had a few cosmetic issues, like a cracked mirror and a broken bathroom tile, both of which had been poorly repaired. It wasn’t a big deal, but it did make us wonder what had happened in there before us! We booked a “city view” room, but it faced another building. The only way to actually see the city was to lean over the balcony and turn your head—not exactly what we had in mind. The building also blocked a lot of natural light, which was a bit of a letdown. Also, while the hotel is listed as non-smoking, there were ashtrays on the balconies and people were clearly smoking around the property, so that was a little confusing. The fridge wasn’t cold when we arrived, so our drinks stayed warm the first day. And while the desk in the room was a nice touch, it was placed right on top of the A/C unit, making it nearly impossible to sit there without getting blasted with cold air. The front desk staff were amazing, super friendly, professional, and helpful. The pool area was clean and relaxing, although the pool attendant removing the towel cart while we were still trying to grab towels felt a little rushed. Thankfully, I had brought my own just in case. We also checked out the on-site restaurant, and while the food was okay, it felt overpriced for what was served. It was also noticeably hot inside, with a giant fan blowing, so maybe they were having A/C issues? Despite the small issues, I really enjoyed our stay. It’s a solid, comfortable hotel with great staff and a convenient location. With just a few improvements, it could easily be a 5-star experience. I’d definitely stay here again.
Heather S — Google review
We were there for four nights and slept in three different rooms due to various issues (no desk in the first, doors didn’t shut in the second - among other things). There was an AC issue in the third room but we choose not to move. The room was cool but the unit leaked water. All three rooms were very dated. Mattresses were terrible. The best thing about the hotel was the pool and Jimmys restaurant. We would not stay here again.

Shephard's Beach Resort in Clearwater is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and top-notch hospitality. The resort offers a range of colorful rooms, many featuring balconies with stunning views of the Gulf. Guests can enjoy daily live music and a lively nightclub on-site. Direct access to the soft white sands of the gulf and a heated pool add to the appeal. Accommodation options include pool-front rooms, gulf-view suites, and apartment-style rentals with studio kitchens.
I had an amazing stay here! Regina at the front desk went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. At first, I was skeptical because I’ve never been to the area before, but I’m so glad that this was the resort that I chose. I will definitely be returning. The drinks are great. The food was good. The view is spectacular! The beach access is such a good perk. I had one bad experience at the bar and it was handled promptly and appropriately. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay.

My girlfriends and I came here for a girls vacation. The staff was great. The room was nice but the bathrooms need an exhaust fan. It would also be nice to have a full length mirror in the room. We rented chairs and an umbrella for the 5 days we were there. We wanted to enjoy the view from our chairs but the jet-skis from the hotel were in the way on one side and the other side jet-skis and boats came in and parked right in the swimming area every day. You couldn't even get in the water without them all around and you had to be very careful not to step on an anchor. A resort should not allow people who are not staying there to dock in their swimming area. It was extremely annoying not to mention the hotel would have a band playing and the people on the boats and jet-skis would turn their music up loud to try and out do the band. We wanted a relaxing time on the beach with a view but it was not. We noticed the hotels beside us and down further did not have boats and jet-skis docked in their area which is how it should be. The Cove restaurant was not good and overpriced for the type of food served. The appetizers were nothing but frozen items put in a microwave. I expect all food items to be prepared fresh at a restaurant such as The Cove portrays to be. Very disappointed and will definitely stay somewhere else next time

I was basically raised here 🩷 They’ve done amazing renovations over the years and have kept a great staff. The location is perfect, food & drinks are always flowing and the views are pretty amazing. Highly recommend. Just beware music plays pretty late every night, but we enjoy it.

Our room was kinda small, but clean. They have live music by the beach until midnight. If you have a beach front room it is loud until 12 am. Drinks are good and affordable. Pool side music has been either country or rap/club type music. The club music has lots of undesirable words. The pool is not very big. The food is pretty good bar food. Not much that is gluten friendly. The beach is nice. You can reserve beach chairs close to the water. I would not bring kids here. This seems more like a party crowd place.

This is the 2nd time I stay at this resort and I can assure you this place is a VIBE. Spent the night for my anniversary. We were welcomed in such manners that I couldn’t have pictured it any better. The staff and management are amazing. The Front desk receptionist April and Regina were wonderful! The Manager Tina was amazing! The best of the best! Tina made sure our experience was met to 100% expectations and had the best of hospitality/costumer service. Lindsay our server at the tiki grill was wonderful also. Our food was out ready super quick, hot, DELICIOUS, and the hospitality service was absolutely amazing! Chicken quesadillas, burgers, loaded fries and all the drinks were delicious. “0” complaints!! Valet employees were also great and assist with bell service. The room was excellent also! It had a little kitchen with a full fridge, small stove and dishwasher. The view was nice and the bed great for the nap and sleep lol. The wave night club they had was also super fun with great bar staff. Over all, we will definitely be back and can’t wait to make more memories here. Thank you Shepherds Beach resort for the great hospitality! 5 OUT OF 5!

We love Shephard’s and have been coming here for years. The location is great, and the whole place has such a good vibe. We love hanging out by the pool, and the easy access to the beach makes it even better. The people are always friendly, and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Huge shoutout to Toni at the front desk—she goes above and beyond for us every time we visit! Also, a big thank you to Tracey and Todd at the bar for always taking great care of us.

Rooms are clean, and it is nice being next to the beach where you can walk right out. But not worth it in my opinion for the price, we've had better two doors down just a few months prior. The staff is phenomenal and that's what I am basing 5 stars on, the amenities are 1 star. The rooms are oddly designed and queen beds are actually full size. The only coffee available is in your room unless you pay $3 downstairs in the shop. Keep in mind to sit on furniture outside the patio they charge $35. This is more of a hotel for anyone wanting to experience nightlife as they have a stage and bar on the patio but I did not feel like it was luxurious for the price when others just next door and down were cheaper and far better in my opinion with restaurants

The JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is an upscale hotel that boasts a private beach, a Mediterranean dining venue, and a luxurious spa. Situated just over a kilometer from the city center, this pet-friendly accommodation offers clean rooms with stunning views of the beautiful beach, making it an ideal spot for capturing breathtaking sunset photos. While some guests found the room spacious but with minor defects due to rushed construction, they appreciated the friendly staff and enjoyed the ample pool and beach area.
We stayed at this hotel for an extended weekend getaway and have only positive experiences to share. The customer service was outstanding — from spotless cleaning of our room (thank you, housekeeping team!) to a delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, Latitude 28. We loved enjoying cocktails by the rooftop pool in the evening and grabbing a fresh morning coffee from the hotel’s marketplace. Every staff member we encountered was professional, attentive, and friendly. The beach team especially deserves recognition — their kindness and respect toward every guest truly stood out. The valet parking staff was exceptional as well. Hotels private beach is smaller but very tastefully designed and equipped. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and decorated, but what really sets it apart is the employees this hotel has , and I hope their work is recognized and rewarded,

We had an incredible family vacation at the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort! The location is perfect, the rooms are modern and spotless, and the ocean views are breathtaking. Food and drinks were a highlight — you have to check out The Deep End rooftop restaurant (the Stir-Fried Noodles are a must!) and grab an Oaxacan Old Fashioned at the Lobby Bar. What really makes this place special is the amazing staff. Huge thanks to Maui at the bell desk for the warm welcome, Andy from Eskape for his great service, and especially Robert from the beach team — he truly made our stay unforgettable with his kindness and energy. We visited in October when it was nice and peaceful, though I’ve heard summers can get busy. Either way, this is hands-down the best place to stay in Clearwater Beach!

These rooms were clean and updated. The service was good and everyone said hello and they were very friendly. The view from the rooftop pool was 10/10. The beach was very clean and it was a good spot to hang in the cove without worrying about crazy waves. The service was 10/10 here both on the beach and the restaurant. The valets were also incredibly nice and helpful. I would come back to this hotel every time. This is very high class. I wouldn’t recommend this as much to families with kids though. The coffee at the cafe was very good!

My husband and i are presently here to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were whisked away in luxury—the valet and bellhop, front desk and housekeeping, beach staff…just EVERYONE embodies the service and personality one might expect from this luxury brand. Yet I still feel the need to recognize the exemplary experience…expected or not. LOOK👀at the thoughtful and beautiful treats sent to our room the night of our anniversary. Also, look at the adorable, smart, and super convenient cards the housekeeping team leaves. I absolutely LOVE how quick and easy they make gratuity! This concept should be everywhere. We have loved the Marriott brand for years, but this is just an entirely beautiful and thoughtful experience. JW Marriott, this specific location anyway, has set a new standard in luxury. They do everything right…and have delivered far more than expected. There’s not a single thing I have requested that they have not been able to deliver on In fact, we have loved our experience at this resort so much, that we decided to cancel reservations we had a little further south, and extend our stay here. We just dont want to leave! Spend just a little extra and stay here. Between the private beach, the balconies and views, the unmatched service, the beach chairs and umbrellas that you don’t have to pay for…i promise you its worth it🩷

This hotel had the best service out of any hotel I have been too. A level of excellence in every area whichI have not seen at a hotel before. The manager at this hotel is doing a fantastic job. It is worth the cost if you want great service, everything is super clean and updated and a fantastic view watching dolphins from your balcony. 11th floor pool and restaurant is also amazing.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! We spent our babymoon here and stayed here three nights, which wasn’t enough. All staff, from reception to concierge to the restaurants, and beach and pool staff as well as spa staff were so attentive and friendly! They made us feel like we were the only ones staying at the hotel. We loved every minute! The food at the hotel restaurants was delicious as well! Not to mention, we received a sweet babymoon gift from concierge in the last day! Highly recommend this place. The entire facility was clean, inviting and perfect for our short getaway!

Even though I’m based here in Florida, I still get blown away by some of the incredible venues we have — and the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach is definitely one of them. I had the chance to photograph a wedding there recently, and everything about the day felt elevated and elegant. The modern architecture, clean lines, and oceanfront views gave us endless photo opportunities — inside and outside gave plenty of opportunity for some epic wedding day photos. For couples looking for a coastal, high-end wedding experience, this venue really delivers — and as a photographer, it’s one I can’t wait to shoot at again - not to mention the staff was super helpful and easy to work with.

Reviewed 2 days ago We had the most wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Clearwater! From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming, relaxing, and truly first-class. The hotel itself is beautiful; the rooms are spacious and luxurious, the views are stunning! What really made my stay extra special, though, was the service. Nick T went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our experience the best it could be. We look forward to coming back and enjoying this beautiful property! We also had excellent martinis in the lounge downstairs! And fun drinks and food at the restaurant on the rooftop! I can’t recommend the JW Marriott Clearwater enough. Between the gorgeous property and the exceptional service this is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

I didn't stay overnight here, but i was there for a spa day with my Mom. We had an amazing day! The place is older but well taken care of. The staff was kind and many said hello as we walked around and explored the numerous amenities. The pool was nice and the food was really great. We really enjoyed our stay at Safety Harbor Resort & Spa! The location is perfect—right in the heart of town and walking distance to great shops and restaurants. The resort itself is grand and spacious, with a relaxing atmosphere. The pool and spa are definitely highlights—clean, well-maintained, and a great place to unwind. The rooms are in the process of being updated, so I recommend requesting a renovated one; the older rooms tend to have a musty smell. Overall, a lovely experience and we’d definitely return!

I am truly only giving two stars because I did enjoy the employee who gave me my facial at the Spa. She was great. Everything else was honestly atrocious. My husband and I booked this spa day to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary. It was a disaster from the second we walked in. Many have mentioned the outdated facilities, but I was way more taken aback by the desk staff in the spa. They need some serious retraining on customer service. I booked our services (a massage and a facial) simultaneously through the website. I received a confirmation email. Apparently my husband’s appointment remained the same, but mine was moved to 11am. I was charged a $15 no show fee and was told they called me that morning. I never received a call… and I also did not book that time slot so I should never have been charged. Seems like it was a website error, which happens. But the way these women handled it and spoke to each other was anything other than relaxing. I truly don’t even think they said sorry for the mishap. It was as if the whole thing was my fault and I was pestering them. They were able to fit me in 30 minutes later than anticipated, but that’s okay. We figured it out. But no one showed us where anything was and again, like others mentioned, it’s a labyrinth in there. After our appointments, I went back to the front desk to ask for an itemized receipt as we had paid partially with a gift certificate. This caused more chaos amongst THREE employees and still felt very hostile. I still did not receive the breakdown of costs, but I at least finally was refunded my $15 no show fee. It was so bizarre and left me feeling uncomfortable. I would not call any part of that experience relaxing.

Beautiful location, fantastic staff from from to back. The spa is supported by caring, knowledgeable staff. We had an amazing spa day on our anniversary. The facility could use a little more proactive love (hence the lack of five stars) but it is recommended to visit. We did not stay in a room, so have no comment there. Did I mention the great staff? I was so relaxed I neglected to take any photos. Enjoy.

We had a great time the day before and the day of the wedding. Definitely one to remember. We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't rate the rooms. Very clean facility and the food was high quality with great flavors.

I have been a member of SHRS since December 2021. The resort is in the process of renovation and every day I see improvement. Hopefully there is a lot more to come. The staff members are amazing and that includes the several recently hired staff members. I have belonged to other clubs and stayed at hotels around the world. The staff at SHRS makes you feel like you are coming home from the moment you leave your car with the valet to the "good bye and have a great day" when you leave. The other members are great too - I have met so many great people at SHRS. The friendly atmosphere at SHRS allowed me to make friends and feel a part of the community within a short period of time after moving to Florida. The fitness classes are the best I have ever attended. There is a wide range of innovative offerings - something for everyone every day. Each instructor is knowledgeable, professional and devoted to each class. The newly renovated class rooms and gym are well equipped. I haven't had many spa treatments but those I have had have been excellent. My favorite is the Vichy massage - an absolute must! The staff, fitness programs and spa treatments are well worth spending time at this home away from home!

We stayed at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa for four nights and absolutely loved the hotel and the spa services were amazing. We specifically went where we could attend the third Friday event where there is all kinds of vendors down the street right outside the hotel. We fell in love with staff member Kara at the front desk and she went above and beyond and was so friendly. We also loved Eli in the restaurant and requested her multiple times as she was very attentive and personable. We will be returning again in the very near future as this hotel is amazing and is in a prime location. We never once left the parking lot in our car due to there being so much to do. 💕💕

Great Service, But Stuck in the Past I visited Safety Harbor Spa this weekend and left with mixed feelings. I spent $300 for a gift card for my daughter's 30th birthday hoping to impress her for the special occasion. We decided to book a spa day for 4 family members (and paid that much per person). It took months for us to get an appointment on a Saturday (somewhat understandable). The staff was warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated to creating a relaxing experience. The massage and facial treatments were excellent—easily on par with any high-end spa I've visited. If I were rating based on service alone, this would be a solid five-star review. However, the facility itself tells a very different story. The spa is desperately in need of an update. It feels like time stopped here sometime in the early 1990s. Every area—while once probably beautiful—now feels tired and neglected. Even the scent of the place feels dated. I was actually embarrassed that I brought my 2 daughters there for a special day, though my 82 year old mother didn't notice the worn out facilities. It's clear that the staff is doing their best with what they have, but it's also obvious that the owners haven’t reinvested in the space in decades. In an industry where ambiance is such a big part of the experience, this really drags down the overall impression. It's is a hidden gem that's been buried under 30 years of wear and tear. Great for locals looking for skilled treatments—just don’t expect a luxury resort atmosphere.

There are two dining options, a fitness center, spa services and an outdoor pool available for guests. The hotel is located right on the beach with spectacular views from the rooms. It's within walking distance of great entertainment and restaurants. However, prices at the resort store can be expensive so it's recommended to bring your own supplies or purchase them elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wyndham at Clearwater Beach, Florida. The staff are attentive to requests from the room. My room was huge, clean and has great amenities, and comes with a balcony. The hotel has Beach access so its lovely to spend time at the beach. The poolside bar has good food and fast service. Just love the vacation vibe here.

The same problem with this guy in the front desk happened to me today at this place Friday 9/19doing check in They offered me deals they later refused to honor today on Saturday 9/21they charged me for a 3 day parking 85$when we are owners they said for the second vehicle is 15$ but is gonna be free because we have a 100$ gift that’s we are not taken y Very unpleasant people and unprofessional in their work., I called them today and then the same guy said the parking was 20$ for 3 days but the maths didn’t work,15x3=45 20x3 =60. and they treated me in an unprofessional manner. It’s a shame that such a nice place has such unprofessional employees, especially those on the lobby floor , so nobody is care about costumers they prefer said they call me tomorrow when the manager is present but today is no boss around the hotel .

Staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and it's right by the beautiful beach! 🏖️ Also, plenty of places to eat and drink if you didn't want to eat at the hotel. I was here for a conference and the rooms for corporate functions like dining, meetings and workshops were large and clean as well. The only thing is they had the AC on full blast so everyone was freezing 🥶

We didn't stay on the motel side. We had a great 1 and 2 bedroom suites. Staff is very attentive. Only downside was everything a storm comes through (most evenings) the TV shuts down and takes quite a while to come back. Very annoying with a number of kids stuck in with "nothing to do".

Hotel was clean. Beautiful ocean view. A tad costly. Force valet parking And you have to tip for everything. So be aware of you get your car out for the day. That's added tips

Hotel
Beso Del Sol Resort is a waterfront retreat with a laid-back atmosphere. The resort features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and bar, as well as complimentary bike rentals for guests to explore the area. While some guests have mentioned issues with room upgrades and outdated facilities, others have praised the stunning views from their balconies, where they've spotted manatees and dolphins.
Beautiful view of the Florida Sunset, we had a balcony with a water view. Clean well stocked kitchenette, had everything we needed. Convenient loading with carts and elevator. Grounds were nice and the staff was pleasant and very helpful. Marker 8 bar was below us but on schedule music ended and grounds became quite shortly after sunset. We will be back~thank you for a good time!

Pros: Premises on the water; Lg layout in 2br, 2fl "Comfort Suite #419"; Tastefully decorated; Complimentary laundry; Open-air bar & grill (Marker8) on site; Great sunsets Cons: Awkward unit layout (i.e., no windows in LR, no closets in BR's); No fan in main bath; 2 LOUD wall unit a/c's on 1st and 1 free-standing unit in br2 (up); Elevator vs stairs; Limited parking on site (additional parking one block over). Check in at 4p. We arrived early (11a) and sat at bar until room was ready (3:30p). Bar's pork quesadilla was thick and tasty. Elevator was at one end of bldg & stairs at other. Our room was next to stairs, closest to road (exit). Used the elevator first. One has to navigate the zig-zag walkway to rooms (4 steps/turn, repeat) which is tedious. We mostly used steps. The a/c is ridiculously loud and runs every 5-10 min, making it almost impossible to hear the tv's. We also had to leave br doors open to keep living areas cool. We enjoyed ourselves despite the disappointments and will look to compare with other resorts available (w our travel plan) in the area.

What an amazing experience we had. 1st time there & the staff at the front desk is what topped everything off for our weekend. We will keep coming back over & over! 1 bedroom suite was pretty awesome too. 2 thumbs up to front desk for making us feel so at home!!!!!

I have never been to Dunedin. This town is very welcoming, friendly people, dog friendly, and such a joy to bike ride around town. This hotel was amazing. Marker 8 is in the hotel with awesome food, amazing service, fun games to play and awesome hang out spot. If you got to Marker 8 go to the pool and have Alyssa as your server. She is on point and gets food or drinks to you fast

The only negative was the dock was being repaired from the hurricanes in 2024. It was a big selling point for me when booking and would have appreciated knowing ahead of time. The room was clean, cute, and comfy. It had a nice pool and hot tub, no kids, with a cool little tiki bar connected with a 21 and up only pool. Free shot at sunset, and the sunset was MAGICAL! We went for my birthday weekend and there is tons to do in the area. 4 miles from clearwater, 10 min from honeymoon island. Such a great weekend, but just bummed over the dock. Really wanted to fish right at our place. But, otherwise a really great place to book with!

This resort is truly the best place for a staycation! It’s incredibly convenient—especially with Marker 8 Bar right on-site, making it easy to unwind without going anywhere. Everyone who works here is so kind and accommodating, they really make you feel welcome. Whether you live nearby or you’re traveling from afar, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing evening (or weekend). Highly recommend for anyone looking to treat themselves to a peaceful getaway!
Cari B — Google review
The condos are run down and mediocre at best. The AC units are loud and we had to either yell over them or turn them off to have a decent conversation. But once you turn them off, it gets so hot and humid, so you have to turn them back on. The upstairs AC units didn’t cool it off at all. I had to sleep with just a sheet. There was mold on the ceiling that a past guest brought to their attention but nothing was done about it. You do have beach front views but at night the tide rescinded and the bugs were out in full force. Definitely bring bug spray! And it’s stinky! 10 out of 10 don’t recommend. The front staff were super friendly and the location was good for what we needed.

Customer service responds IMMEDIATELY with any concerns. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The sunsets are breathtaking and the pool bar is very busy on Friday and Saturday nights! 5 out of 5 stars from me!

Resort hotel
Nestled just steps away from the pristine Gulf of Mexico, Coconut Cove All-Suite Hotel offers a casual and relaxing retreat for families, friends, or business travelers. The hotel provides affordable queen and king suites with private balconies and full kitchens. Guests can enjoy resort amenities such as an outdoor pool, cascading waterfalls, tiki huts, and beach cabana service. With its oceanfront location on Clearwater Beach, the hotel is perfect for couples getaways or family vacations.
The suites are nice and the pictures online adequately represent them. The pool is very nice and spent more time in the pool than the beach. They also have a tub of pool toys that are free to use. They also have bottled water that is free both at the pool and at the front desk. The beach is a very short walk across the street and the beach access is very good. The front desk staff were always very welcoming and pleasant and helpful. The only thing not great were the beds. The beds were not that comfortable. Also they only clean the room every 4 days. You can get clean towels daily but room cleaning is every 4 days. For the price I would definitely recommend this place.
John M — Google review
We always enjoy our stay at Coconut Cove. This is our second time visiting and overall had a great time. They have a really nice pool which the kids are obsessed with. Not busy at all so plenty of swimming and fun for the kids. Beach towels at the main office is definitely a plus. Also very helpful and kind staff. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is they definitely could use some repairs in the rooms, especially the door handles and locks. Some of the appliances could also use repairs/maintenance to make sure they are working properly (fridge & stove burners). Overall, we had a good time and would be back.
Douglas W — Google review
What an awful place. Stopped to ask a question about rooms, and before I asked anything was yelled at for parking my bike in their alley. This was so rude.
Troy R — Google review
Upon arrival it was a bit confusing to find the main entrance or lobby. Check in was quick and simple. I would suggest that the guest be given info on where the ice machine and laundry are located. The room size was perfect and allowed separation of adult and child spaces. I had 2 teens and it would have made for miserable vacation if we had stayed in a regular hotel room. The pool and outdoor area are nice, but we did have to ask for the pool to be cleaned though due to debris and lots of sand in the pool. With a few updates and someone to attend to the pool area daily (vacuum, blow the sand off the cushions and clean up a little) they could have an amazing outdoor space. Overall our stay was good and we would definitely stay here again. If you decide to stay at Coconut Cove you MUST eat at the Italian restaurant next door!!
Megan N — Google review
We stayed here for a week and we enjoyed it. The pool is nice, the hotel and spot it's in is a little walk from restaurants and beach which is nice because it's not to loud or crazy when you are relaxing in your room. The kitchen was nice and it came stocked with dishes. The only complaint I have is they canceled our reservation due to an issue with my card but never told us. We travel all the way from NYC and were exhausted, they were unable to give us the room we originally booked but did give us a small refund and gave us a different room. I would have liked to have better communication with my reservation. Other than that the staff was great and very accommodating, I will most likely stay here again.
Ashley P — Google review
The hotel has a private beach that is shared with a hotel across the street. It was very quiet when we went and had no problem finding an umbrella and chairs to rent. The layout was nice, but the beds in our unit were not very comfortable. Our experience was great overall, but I only gave 4 stars because the floor in our unit (upon checkin) was very dirty. I could have notified the front desk and I feel confident that they would have given plus other accommodations, but we checked in late and had kids, and I didn't want to deal with it. I would definitely stay there again though!!
Jessica M — Google review
It was poor because the customer Service was terrible first. The outside looks like a dump and hard to find. The rooms were decent looking because we had a balcony and kitchen. Staff had no clue where to find dishes or utensils. The bed was uneven and fell to the right…not on bed boards properly. There is no water pressure at all….water did not even come to the body. I could not take a shower only bath . People in the office don’t care and just work there. They charged a fee of $200 to upgrade…upgrade to what? What was the upgrade? The walls were noisy and heard everything… we could not be moved to another room so we had to deal with the broken bed and room. Like I said before these people don’t care. Poor property and poor staff. The manager was not kind. Do not stay at this property or room #303.. you will be very unsatisfied.

I stayed here with my husband and two kids we loved it ! The room was clean and spacious. The staff was wonderful. Now the pool was absolutely amazing 😉 very well kept and the water was at the perfect temperature to even enjoy a night swim . It's a very short walk to the beach 🏖️ . We will be returning in the summer can't wait. Thank you for keeping a nice clean establishment!!!!!

The Hiatus Clearwater Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton offers a stunning design that exudes a unique cruise ship vibe. The breathtaking views and comfortable rooms with wrap-around balconies provide a private and relaxing experience. The friendly staff and exceptional customer service make for an unforgettable stay. Guests can enjoy spectacular food, including the special sunset toast, served by outstanding bartenders. While the pool may be crowded at times, the valet parking service ensures a safe and professional experience.
My girlfriend and I stayed here this past 4th of July weekend we were actually very excited to be able to find a hotel close to the beach as everything is booked up it was roughly $1,500 for two nights included parking valet. We chose the room with the beach view in the very front of the building. My girlfriend absolutely loved it sitting on the balconies for calling at Birds, especially the seagulls. One of the ballet attendants, "Matt" was the one that really stuck to us the most as he initially walked us into our room and made sure we had everything for our 2-day stay. I chose to give the hotel five stars for location. There are definitely a few misses like not having a real fridge or laundry area. Tina and Julia were especially helpful. Here's just a glance at our stay. Bed comforter and pillows 7 out of 10 rooms are also cleaned thoroughly

We loved our stay at the Hiatus Hotel! The pool area was beautiful. The food and drinks were excellent too. I had the blackened grouper sandwich, and my wife had the grouper tacos… both were large portions with super fresh fish and great toppings. Our room was clean, cool, and really comfortable. The front desk staff was welcoming, and Ron at the valet went above and beyond to help us out. Overall, it was an awesome experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Clearwater Beach!

Loved our stay at the Hiatus in Clearwater Beach! Check-in and check-out were super easy. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, and the location is perfect—with the beach right across the street and plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The views were amazing, and the whole experience was stress-free. Highly recommend!
Brittany R — Google review
The best place to stay in Clearwater. We stayed for 2 nights, the property is new and just across the street from the beach. Valet parking with a smile, they unload your belongings, bring them to your room as you check in. Food is top notch, fresh, cooked to order - no surprises. Eat on the veranda overlooking the beach, poolside on the 7th floor, or in the dining room or bar area. They will find you and serve your food and drink with a smile anywhere you go on the 7th floor...they walk fast so you don't have to. The rooms are immaculate and smart, spacious, built in lighting around the mirrors, large windows for light, on point design. Comfy beds. In under a mile you may eat, drink, shop, play all you could want. We regretted leaving and will be back.
Hutch G — Google review
At first we were super impressed and super happy with our hotel stay. We liked it so much that we added a second night. Upon waking up to catch the pool and beach before we left. However, we were greeted by some “sea bugs” however most people just call them cockroaches. Upon going up to the front desk the lady up front was not helpful and wanted to charge my account and she changed her tune as soon as I asked for a manager and was being super nice. The manager seemed to be pretty understanding but she told me she was going to call me back that day and did not and I tried calling back and got put straight to voicemail. Over $800 for two nights and that is how they treat their customers so I am just going to leave the pictures for proof of the “sea bugs”. 9/1/2025- Let’s add a fun update! If you would love to stay here and take some creatures home with you that is all up to you. I’m not happy with the customer service. I love that the manager commented but never reached out. This seems to be the going comment. However, I guess ruining $200 worth of my items because I had to throw away clothes and a suitcase but all that was offered over this whole situation was a $79 as a refund for property fees. Not thrilled. I don’t recommend. If you have an issue deal with it before you leave. They want you to leave so they don’t have to do any type a refund.

This hotel is a hidden gem. I absolutely loved my stay here. This property offers the best views of the ocean whether you’re on the rooftop pool, in the lobby, or even your hotel room. Watching the sun set from the hotel’s main balcony was incredible as well; as it made the entire lobby illuminate a beautiful peachy bronze color. The rooms are beach themed but nice. Hotel staff are friendly and personable. My stay was great and hope to come back in the future.
Derek F — Google review
I did not stay here but I saw they have a rooftop bar and pool area which I've been meaning to check out and finally did and I was happily surprised! What an amazing view and killer vibe. We had drinks and food and lounged out on the comfortable chairs and I would highly recommend coming and checking this beautiful place out. Also inside from the rooftop bar and pool area is a restaurant and an additional bar with a beautiful view of Clearwater Beach. I will be back to have dinner at this luxuriously beautiful hotel restaurant and pool bar, very very cool!!! And the prices are reasonable considering!
