Restaurant
Frenchy's Rockaway Grill is a renowned seafood shack located in Clearwater Beach, known for its vibrant and festive atmosphere. This beachfront bar offers a unique experience with live rock and roll bands playing hits from the 70s and 80s. The menu features Floribbean-style dishes, including the famous grouper sandwich available in various styles such as Cajun, Caribbean, and Reuben.
this was the only restaurant we were heavoly recommended in Clearwater that we went to and absolutely no regrets. The Tampa area is famous for fishing grouper, so we had to give it the good old try. We asked how it tasted, our waitress identified it as a white fish that is more savory than mahi mahi, she was totally right. husband tried it fried, I tried it blackened. I loved the seasoning, it was light and paired very well with the pickle and mustard/sauces. Newbs typically try it fried, husband wasn't disappointed. the homemade key lime pie was pretty good, with pronounced lime and Graham cracker flavors. Give in to the hype, it's worth every penny.

5-Star Sunset Bliss at Frenchy's Rockaway Grill What an absolute gem Frenchy's Rockaway Grill is! Tucked right on the sands of Clearwater Beach, this spot nails that effortless Florida vibe with its open-air setup, live music humming in the background, and those jaw-dropping Gulf sunsets painting the sky in oranges and pinks. We snagged a table on the deck just in time for golden hour, and it felt like we were dining in a postcard. The menu is a love letter to fresh, local seafood—our group's picks were spot-on. The famous Super Grouper Sandwich lived up to the hype: flaky, perfectly seasoned grouper piled high on a toasted bun with all the fixings, no sogginess in sight. We also devoured the She Crab Soup (creamy, rich, and just the right kick of spice) and some crispy coconut shrimp that paired beautifully with a chilled local craft beer. Everything arrived hot and vibrant, with portions that left us satisfied but not stuffed. But let's talk about the real star of our evening: our server, Greer. From the moment she greeted us with her warm smile and beachy energy, it was clear she loves what she does. Attentive without hovering, she nailed our drink refills, suggested the perfect pairing for the seafood and even shared insider tips on the best spots for a post-dinner stroll along the beach. Greer's enthusiasm made the whole experience feel personal and fun. If you're in Clearwater, skip the chains and head straight to Frenchy's Rockaway Grill. It's casual, delicious, and unforgettable. We'll be back soon—sunset views and Greer-level service? Yes, please! 🌅🦐

The place is great! It has that perfect beach vibe mixed with excellent service and atmosphere! Definitely a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy their famous grouper sandwiches. I tried the traditional fried grouper sandwich — it was good and well-prepared, but I’ll try other options next time to give a more accurate verdict. While it didn’t completely blow me away, it was still tasty and satisfying. What really makes the place stand out is the friendly service, quick attention, and positive energy! I totally recommend visiting this awesome spot and enjoying a nice margarita while watching the sunset. We’ll be back! 🌅🍹

WOW! We were expecting this to be a basic beach restaurant with pretty mid food and drinks like we’re used to. But holy crap, this place was amazing. The drink options are insane and you can get a 20oz cocktail rocks/frozen in a souvenir cup for $13. We got the crab fries, rock poppers, and steak dippers. The crab fries were life changing, the poppers were mid, and the steak dippers were very good. For drinks we got a strawberry mojito and rum runner. The atmosphere was great, menu had great options, and our server Britt was so sweet. We plan on going back for dinner and getting crab legs, highly recommend!

I went to Frenchys for lunch today and it was so Freaking Good!! That is one of the best tasting filling meals I've this year.. I ordered a 6 oz grouper sandwich , it was grilled with the spices, and it had onion, tomato, tartar sauce, a delicious roll ! There was a big pickle on the side and it came with french fries 😋 I had Pepsi to drink.. We got to sit right there on the beach!! My feet was in the sand the whole time . The view is Amazing 😍 one of the best all around experiences, I would highly recommend this restaurant.. our server was Jeff and he did a great 👍 job... One of the best grouper sandwiches I've eaten
Jay H — Google review
Many Frenchys around but this one is beachfront and has tables facing the water! Perfect for dinner watching the sunset. I ordered the classic fried grouper sandwich which was perfect while my husband ordered a basket of shrimp. I honestly thought his plate looked like more fries than shrimp but everything was wonderful. Our water was super amazing despite how packed the place was getting. It also looked like someone was doing some professional filming while we ate I was wondering what it was for!

We visited on a clear day, and the clear beach in Tempa nearby was absolutely beautiful. This restaurant is just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Although we were told there would be a 30-minute wait, we were seated in just 10 minutes. The live music created a great vibe, making the atmosphere even better. The food was excellent—made with fresh fish and natural ingredients. The flavors were clean, not too salty or greasy, just perfectly balanced. Prices were also very reasonable. The outdoor terrace looked inviting, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot if you’re near the beach!

First time in Clearwater Beach, so I decided to try this place at my boss's recommendation. This restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and has outdoor seating. We ended up sitting in the sand near the beach which I had never done at a restaurant before. We ended up getting the crab fries and the shrimp pasta. It was absolutely delicious! We will definitely come back the next time I come to Clearwater Beach! Thank you Frenchy's!

Clear Sky Cafe is a popular spot near the beach, offering a seafood-focused menu and live music. It's known for its extensive breakfast menu with various options like pancakes, French toasts, waffles, omelets, skillets, sandwiches, quiches, and crepes. The cafe also features a bloody mary bar on weekends and offers flavored mimosas.
I am glad to see that the restaurant has reopened (as of February 2025) after sustaining damage from Hurricane Milton in 2024. The food is truly exceptional. The service is outstanding, with special recognition to Robert, who provides remarkable attention to detail. The restaurant's proximity to the beach (walking distance) is an added bonus. I highly recommend scheduling dining here to coincide with the sunset.

Impressive breakfast, good value and atmosphere Food - massive selection of breakfast items and all were good portions. Eggs perfectly cooked and pancakes light and fluffy. Mexican skillet had a nice spice to it - would recommend. Service - order was taken promptly and servers were friendly with the kids (Halloween colouring was given out). Coffees were refilled quickly and food arrived hot and with not much wait. Atmosphere - we went for breakfast at 730, was quiet to start with but soon filled up. Good mix of people and nice atmosphere. Would recommend for a meal to anyone visiting Clearwater.

Clear Sky Cafe is truly top-tier when it comes to premium quality food. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection—fluffy and flavorful. The French toast hit the perfect balance: not too soft, not too firm. I also tried the Greek omelette, and it was bursting with rich flavors that blended beautifully in every bite. The best part? It’s located right in front of a private beach. After the meal, I took a stroll on the powdery-soft sand—it felt like walking on sponge. A perfect start to the day.

We walked to the cafe for brunch and were pleasantly greeted by staff who turned out to be our server Alexa. Her recommendations were spot on. We had the lobster Bennie, grits with Gouda & the Nova Scotia Bennie with potatoes. Next time we will definitely expand our palate but we love our Bennie’s! Portions were perfect, coffee good. Cafe very clean.

This was our first time at the Clearwater Beach Clear Sky. Each location is consistently top notch. We had a delicious breakfast and great service! The Coast Watch seafood omelette and Gouda grits were super tasty! After breakfast we took a short walk (1/2 a block) down to the beautiful white sand beach.

Decided to spend my birthday weekend in Clearwater and have breakfast at Clear Sky. The food is affordable, big portion, nice ambiance, good service. Thank you Melissa for making our breakfast more enjoyable. Will surely go back next time we visit Clearwater.

Consistent quality and service by the beach. We eat here several times while on vacation. The food is really good and reasonably priced for Clearwater. Really love the pepperoni flatbread, French toast, waffles and all the breakfast platters. We've eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have NEVER been disappointed 10/10!
Alicia C — Google review
Clear Sky Café in Clearwater is a must visit for breakfast! We tried the veggie omelet, the breakfast sliders, and the beignets, and everything was fantastic. The omelet was fresh and loaded with flavor amd veggies, the sliders were perfectly cooked with fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and melty cheese, and the beignets were light, flaky, and topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar (a table favorite!). Great food, friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere make this a perfect breakfast spot near the beach.

Takeout Restaurant
Columbia Restaurant Sand Key is a renowned Spanish restaurant with a rich history dating back to 1905. It was established by Casimiro Hernandez Senior, a Cuban immigrant, and has since become one of the oldest and most beloved restaurants in Florida. The restaurant offers authentic Cuban and Spanish cuisine and boasts a beautiful decor with an expansive deck overlooking the waterway, providing a perfect setting for special occasions or casual gatherings. With multiple locations across Florida, including Clearwater Beach, Sarasota, St.
First impressions walking in.. Am I under dressed? It looks fine dining lol. The atmosphere is awesome. The decor with all the old pictures. The staff are all dressed up. The tables are all nicely set With a great view of the intercoastal waterway. Their bread is all freshly baked. I would suggest getting there salad with their homemade dressing. They mix your salad table side. It is $10, but worth every penny. Every dinner item I've had here is really top notch. Pricing varies. Some dinners are moderate to high price. While others are average price. Really it's affordable for any family.
Greg A — Google review
We ate at 3pm on a Saturday, so it was fairly quiet. We eaten at other Columbia locations and like the one in Ybor the best. It’s definitely the most beautiful. Putting that aside, we had excellent service and meals were wonderful.
C F — Google review
I had my birthday dinner at Columbia Restaurant in Clearwater with my wife, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We started with the Black Bean Cakes for tapas, perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and even better with a little guacamole. I actually caught myself making that eyes-half-closed face because the flavors were just that good. For our entrées, I had the baked stuffed grouper, and my wife had the Lechón Asado “1905.” Both dishes were incredible. Mine was so good I cleaned the plate and even used the table bread to soak up every drop of the sauce. We shared a flan for dessert, which was creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet ending. What made the night truly memorable was our waiter, Edgar. He was personable, conversational, and genuinely kind. Since it was my first time dining here, his attention and thoughtful service made my birthday feel really special, and I appreciated that more than I can say. The atmosphere was equally impressive, with a beautiful view of the Gulf that gave the evening an extra layer of charm. This is an excellent spot for celebrating a special occasion, and we will definitely be coming back.
Quickster F — Google review
Decided to take the drive all the way out here instead of the location in Ybor City. And it was totally worth it! This place has a good Castilian vibe and there’s waterfront views here. The service was good, timely, and efficient. I liked how they mixed the 1905 salad in front of us and asked if we were doing anything special. The food here is absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the 1905 Salad, but there’s more: my crusted Mahi Mahi was very enjoyable with the lemon sauce. However, I wished the hot sauce came out quicker. I also really enjoyed the Flan and Key Lime Pie. They were both very sweet. Overall, would absolutely recommend this! All Columbia locations are great.
Landon B — Google review
We love the Columbia! This was our first time visiting this location and you can’t beat the ocean views while you enjoy your meal. The 1905 salad is hands down the best salad we’ve ever eaten. The sangria is also a must!
Ashley — Google review
What an amazing experience. We have always wanted to dine here, but always ran out of time on vacation. We finally made it and it was so worth the wait. Our server was wonderful, from the sangria to desert everything was better than expected. We will return 🙂 ,
Kathy R — Google review
Went to celebrate our son’s 7th birthday on the water and it was stunning. They have excellent bread and chicken fingers for kiddos fyi!! The food was delicious however they only offer Flan as a dessert so there was no treat for him to enjoy. I asked for any alternative but the answer was no. EVERY question I had (including asking for plates to use with bread and butter) was as if I was asking for A LOT. This is a one off because every time I’m there it’s SO GREAT all around but as the management told me… I could have just asked for a different server during our meal (yes that was the solution). Ready, here’s the issue: The long blond haired server that has a name starting with C was the issue. She seemed frustrated with everything we asked about but we just dealt with it but it’s strange to have a server “helping” you that seems like you are annoying them. The end of the meal I provided my card. She returned after charging us for our check AND the table next to us. I caught that the check slips didn’t match. An extra 92.02 was charged. I did confirm my card was used on both tables. I asked for a manager and she ran up to him trying to explain whatever she was trying to get out of. The entire meal was ruined by this one team member’s terrible attitude doing a terrible job. This is one of few locations you can expect the best of everything and tonight was a big fail.
Quinn K — Google review
I've been to three of the Columbia locations over the years. And all of them are absolutely excellent. There is no place like them. They set the standard for excellence, flavor, service, and atmosphere. However this location in particular stands above the others, even in my opinion over the original Ybor location, for this one is always near and dear to my heart. Nothing in particular that I can place a finger on, but I've found this location to always be my favorite. I've lost count how many times we've been here, how many major family events or just quick weekend celebrations we've had here over the years. Even after moving way out of the area, and having to drive over an hour and a half each way, past other Columbia locations in fact. The Columbia at Sand Key, and all the beloved staff there have become a part of my family's most cherished, core memories. A special shout out to James C. You're the best! Thank you all for all the awesome memories, and here's to many, many more in the future. All our love, -The Crazy, Happy, Disney, Gluten-free, Family.

PERFECT In every way! Right on the gulf beach, white sand, beautiful sunshine, wonderful sunsets, good food, cold drinks, excellent service! This place is fun with live music, good vibes, and friendly service. Everyone was having a great time, watching sports on TVs, and listening to good live music. Chips, salsa, and freshly-made guac was perfect! Beers are cold! Love it!

🌴 Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill & Bar – Clearwater Beach 🌅 We had an amazing dinner at Palm Pavilion last night, one of Clearwater Beach’s true gems! The atmosphere couldn’t have been better, beachfront dining, live music drifting through the air, and the perfect view of the sunset over the Gulf. The staff was friendly and the service was great. We ordered the coconut shrimp (crispy and golden perfection!) and a grilled shrimp bowl that was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Washed it all down with a crisp Angry Orchard Hard Cider while the sky turned pink and gold. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good food, beach vibes, and live music just steps from the sand, Palm Pavilion is the place to be. Highly recommend catching sunset here it’s pure Florida magic. 🌞🌴🍤🎶 Parking is close, but can be hard to find during peak hours.

Flew into TPA and headed straight to Clearwater for lunch. After I parked in the paid lot next door, I followed the live music to Palm Pavilion. Got a seat at the bar with a view of the beach. Plenty of seating for groups of all sizes. The Palm Rum Runner was the perfect blend of liquor on a sunny Florida afternoon. My entree El Cubano “Tampa Style” was savory and tbh one of the better Cubans I've had. Attentive service by the bartender. Convenient location off the main drag. Walking distance to shops, boutiques, and other spots. 9.7/10.

Well, not only was the food amazing and the service, the parking attendant was so nice, and super friendly and helpful. It was a great experience, the best Mahi Mahi I have ever had. Highly recommend the place, and anytime I am in the area I will be coming here

If you want a beach joint with drinks, food, and a view, this is your place. It is very casual from the walk off the beach. Some days have acoustic while dining. There is an air conditioned room, but the other areas are open to the outdoors. Must have a shirt and shoes to enter. The staff is fun and pleasant. The fun cocktails and frozen drinks are fun and beachy. They offer skinny varieties too. The fish tacos were good portioned and tasty with fresh ingredients. The Grouper sandwich was very fresh and the fries were crispy! If you want the view and atmosphere, with good food, you will be happy!

This place has a great happy hour! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. It is in walking distance to the pier to. The lobster rolls was so delicious and my husband enjoyed his stuffed Mahi dish. The server was professional and attentive making dinner suggestions and staying on top of our drinks. We will definitely be back!

Happy Hour from 3PM to 5PM was such a great deal — all entrees were just $7! The flavors were perfectly balanced, not too salty, just right and super tasty. I especially enjoyed the catch of the day and the lobster sandwich — both were fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend stopping by during happy hour!

Had an early dinner. Ordered from an early bird menu 7$ apps and 18$ entree. I had the grouper sandwich which was blackened very fresh and seasoned well. My partner had the fish and chips which was a generous portion and not greasy. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Homemade deserts finished the night key lime pie and banana bread pudding and bothe were fantastic! Only gripe was it was hotter inside than it was outside… no AC tonight? Ugh.
Ron M — Google review
Stopped in for lunch. Our wait staff, Lori, was awesome. She had great suggestions and her lively personality made the meal more enjoyable. My dining partner had the grouper tacos with crinkle fries and coleslaw and a glass of wine (double). She said the tacos were delicious. I had the grouper sandwich with sweet potato fries. I removed the fish from the bread because the heat of the grouper made the bread soggy. The sweet potato fries were okay, unfortunately a bit burnt. The crinkle fries (white fries) were better. I put some of the lettuce and coleslaw on the fish and enjoyed it thoroughly. I am giving 5 stars because Lori really made our time at the Salt Cracker Fish Camp a very fun event. As it is on the Jolley Trolley line, we intend to go back before we leave town. I am adding a second review because we went back the next day. I had the Dixie salad and my partner had smoked fish dip for lunch. We both enjoyed our food (and polished it off). I appreciate that my salad wasn't massive and just enough for lunch. Veronica was a lovely person waiting on us and Rosie greeted us and took over Lori's spot (who was off) as our lively hostess.

Took an inshore fishing guide in the morning. Took our catch to Salt Cracker right after to have them cook our fish for lunch. Bartender and manager were very welcoming. We had half our fish fried and half of them blackened. Both were amazing. Keylime pie was a perfect final touch. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the experience Salt Cracker Fish Camp!

First a shout out to our server Trish no matter how sweet she couldn’t save the food. Based on reviews we chose this establishment. Maybe it was the 8:19 arrival they close at 9:00, we’re on vacation so we didn’t really look at time. The table was outside didn’t have a working light or fan which we didn’t realize until it got darker. We had Ceviche filled mainly with cilantro, mandarins and small bits of fish. Grilled Hog snapper flat in flavor and dry. Blackened scallops w/bacon literally floating in grits, taste was not at all appealing. We rely and depend on reviews for our travels and this was a disappointing experience. The kitchen failed your customers.
Karen E — Google review
This place never fails to exceed all, expectations. From outstanding servers to an amazing menu, we never get tired nor disappointed. The Cajun Mac and Cheese is above and beyond .But so is every other item on the menu. Our server, Marianne was simply amazing and very efficient

I love this spot, inside or outside atmosphere is always nice. We have eaten here often and every time it has been great. Today, the hostess was wonderful, we watched her run food, seat customers and even move umbrellas and she definitely was retirement age but was moving like a teenager... so impressed. Our waitress was friendly and extremely attentive... I just love that, she made our visit that much better. This is the second time I had the grouper tacos, this time blackened and they were even better than the first time. Your iced tea is fresh and delicious, your french fries are so flavorful too. Thank you for doing such a nice job every time we have come in, it really shows that you care.

Our server Jamie was very helpful with menu suggestions along with extremely efficient service!! Food and drinks were brought out promptly. The stuffed hogfish was delicious!!! Great plating and flavor for all food served!! Very nice decor and lighting throughout the restaurant from the inside out!! Always look forward to eating here as the food is delicious every time I’ve dined here!!

Trying to take the wife to as many of my favorite Clearwater restaurants as possible, I kept trying to get in here. Unfortunately, the place is super packed for dinner time and never any parking spots. So we came on an early Sunday afternoon and got right in. Upon walking up, the place has a great beach/pirate vibe to it. Tiki bar, decor, it's all great. They have a ton of homemade sauces and desserts, too. You also get complimentary muffins which were very tasty!! We ordered chicken nachos for the app and dinners of Hogfish sandwich and Hawaiian pulled pork platter. Then the Black Magic rum cake for dessert. The chicken nacho plate was HUUUGE!! I'm not kidding when I say 4 people could have shared it. It was delicious, too. My Hogfish Cuban type sandwich was excellent. The wife loved the BBQ pork. We split the rum cake, which had a homemade rum sauce. Very good. This is more of a local spot being a few miles from the beach area buy if you visit Clearwater, make time to come here. It's one of Clearwaters' best restaurants!!

Fantastic portions. Grilled chicken nachos were large and in charge. The Bay leaf on top felt fitting. My girl had the island rice bowl, beans rice and mango salsa topped with many items. 10/10 recommend. $40 2 meals with drink 🍹

We stopped by for a late lunch. Friendly servers. We sat outside under an umbrella. They served this delicious warm cornbread and sweet butter as a table snack -- you could eat the butter by the spoonfuls -- delicious. I had the Mahi stuffed entree ... highly recommend.

Nice place with a great outdoor seating area and bar, live music and good atmosphere. The food was good, portions are smaller but prices were in line with what you get. The inside is smaller than you would expect from looking at the outside and seems a little tight. All in all we enjoyed our visit and the food.

The only dish that was the most popular was taken down which was the Seafood lafitte who ever made that decision cost the restaurant my loyalty only dish that was amazing everything else I could get at any seafood restaurant… a lot of the dishes they have basically makes the seafood lafitte so for them to take it down was the most stupidest thinking ever. Doesn’t make sense in any form and the reason was to “ down size the menu “ but yet that dish is constructed by the same ingredients they use for others so that doesn’t clearly make no sense . Hopefully this mistake is a lesson for whoever made that stupid decision When I was told about this I got up and left

An excellent Florida and Beach Vibe restaurant. Loved the menu and drink specials ( 2 for 1). The place has really relaxing outdoor and indoor seating options. Staff was very friendly and service was top notch!

We came for the weekend and wanted to try something different. Even though there was a 20 minute wait to be seated it was definitely worth the wait. Emily was an amazing server. Knowing exactly what we needed before we had even asked and was on top of refills along with an upbeat attitude. Don’t pass up on a great place.

The restaurant offers a blend of Asian twists on classic seafood dishes, along with a sushi bar and scenic water views. Guests can indulge in freshly caught fish, hand-cut steaks, premium oysters, and daily specials while enjoying the stunning sunset. The establishment provides a warm and family-friendly atmosphere suitable for various occasions and events. Island Way Grill also features an expansive dining room and outdoor seating under beautiful lights.
Island Way Grill is an absolute gem on the water! From the moment we arrived, everything was top-notch. The ability to dock the boat and step right into the restaurant makes the experience even more special. The waterside dining atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, the perfect spot to enjoy fresh seafood and great company. The food was outstanding fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every dish we tried was impressive, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Service was equally excellent, attentive, friendly, and professional without ever feeling rushed. Between the convenience of boat docking, the unbeatable views, and the amazing food and service, Island Way Grill delivers the full package. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience on the water!

The service was truly top notch, attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel special. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite match the hospitality. While the spread was generous, it leaned toward standard buffet fare without much to set it apart. If you're going for the ambiance and stellar staff, it's worth a visit. Just don’t expect culinary fireworks.

We love this restaurant. We got married here and have never had a bad experience. Food is wonderful. Service was amazing. Demetri ( i believe that was his name) was fresh out of training and I wouldn’t have noticed! His attention to detail, and attentiveness was outstanding! We pulled the manager aside and let her know about our great experience! We will always be back.

My go to for Sunday brunch whenever I come over, on the way to the airport before flying back to the UK. Lovely restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. $45 for the amazing “all you can eat” buffet, which includes a welcome Mimosa or glass of champagne. Great variety of breakfast items including an omelette station. Fabulous fresh shrimp, mussels and crab salad, sushi, lunch choices, fresh fruit and miniature desserts. Great service, our waitress today was the amazing Lynsie who was very sweet, helpful and attentive.

We were seated opposite the main work stations and wine racks, adjacent to a private function, which resulted in constant foot traffic and noise. The tables and chairs were outdated and unstable. However, if we stood up, we could catch a glimpse of the water in the distance. It was later revealed that we were not seated in the main dining area, which was significantly superior to our designated seating area. When I requested to speak with the manager, a young, somewhat sarcastic representative approached our table and stated that the establishment needed to be fair to its waiting staff. I was taken aback, as I had booked this evening well in advance to celebrate my wite's birthday and retirement from the USAF, where she held a high-ranking position. I had anticipated a fine dining experience, not a seating area akin to a casual breakfast establishment. Not even a tablecloth was provided. We were informed by the purported manager that bookings were being taken a year in advance and that the dining area was busy tonight. Upon inspection, however, we observed eleven empty tables. I documented our seating area and the superior dining area with photographs. I expressed my disappointment to the sarcastic manager for ruining my wife's birthday. I would recommend that a restaurant like Island Way Grill appoint a more representative ambassador for their establishment. This experience caused significant distress for both my wife and myself. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

The food was okay; it was not on par with Frenchys or Crabbys Dockside despite being more expensive. The cauliflower side was delicious, though! The service was quite bad; I don’t think our waitress was trained well at all. She was very sweet but just didn’t seem to know how anything worked. We only saw managers when they came out to deal with problems at other tables. We had to call a manager ourselves to deal with an incorrect bill… she kind of tried to bargain us down, which was strange, but she ended up fixing it. There are many other places to try on the island that I’d recommend before this one!

Food, service, atmosphere, and views were fantastic. The oysters were exceptional! Amazing dinner at Island Way Grill overlooking the marina. Food highlights: York River oysters from Virginia, charbroiled oysters, hogfish (so good!), and sherry-maple-sesame Brussels sprouts. 🦪🐟🥦 Such a great way to end the day!

Garrett took excellent care of us, returning regularly to ensure we were happy. Good dinner of surf n turf, although 1 slightly overdone while scallops portion much smaller than previous visit. The brussel sprouts in ponzu & maple was tasty & so was the custom old fashioned cocktail.

The restaurant provides stunning views of the beach and features a casual yet modern layout with floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Jumbo Caribbean Lobster Tail, hogfish Imperial, conch fritters, and beach tacos while taking in panoramic sunset views.
A fun, laid-back spot for a tasty meal. The oysters three ways were a standout—absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying the Hogfish Imperial—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The blackened salmon was also spot on, perfectly seasoned and beautifully prepared. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for fresh, flavorful seafood.

It’s rare when I give that bad review but this place didn’t meet any expectations I had. That’s my fifth time being at Tampa/clearwater area and that would be my worst dinner among all of all. The mahi-mahi and the grouper was extremely dry and over seasoned, and the rest of the seafood was no better—overcooked and over-seasoned, which was especially disappointing in a place known for fresh catches especially that we choose especially for our kids to try the crab and was dry as well. The burger was bland and completely tasteless, with no juiciness at all but the worst was coleslaw overly acidic, so sharp it was unpleasant to eat which 3 of us got from our group and it really upset our tummy. I had local friends recommended to not eat there but I still went for the gulf location but it was a big mistake. With so many better options nearby, this restaurant completely missed any good expectations. The food quality was poor, the flavors were unbalanced, and nothing about the meal made me want to return. A disappointing choice in an area full of great alternatives. In addition to that the place is lacking cleanliness and the wait time is ridiculous and not worth it. The pictures speak for themselves , save your money.

Delicious and HUGE lobsters and oysters. Restaurant did a great job of seasoning and preparing filing portions for our hungry bunch - especially after coming up from a day out in the sun. Crabby's had indoor, outdoor seating with bar seating as well. There are multiple levels where you can be seated in doors. Overall, great experience, the only critique I would have is that we arrived an hour to closing with a few other groups not with us. The server at the time was a bit impatient while taking our orders as I assumed the kitchen was wrapping things up for the night - however it was a weekend night and our table was not one of the last ones left. We felt a bit rushed while deciding our dishes but were happy with how everything tasted.

Great food. Awesome service. Magnificent vibe! Close proximity to the beach and hotels. The mixed drink was delicious. I think our host's name was Jamie. He made our visit an amazing one. We ordered shrimp Alfredo, fish and chips, key lime pie, spinach dip, and the bucket drink. I'll definitely return to this place when I return to the area!

Great view of the sunset from 2nd & 3rd floors! Service was fabulous both visits. Food was a little cold the first visit this trip, but the flavor was still there! Definitely recommend grouper anything on the menu! My son said it was the best cheeseburger he’d ever had!

Really nice restaurant with a great menu. We started with the clam chowder and mussel appetizers. Then we had grouper. (His was grilled and mine was the fried sandwich which was so light and tasty.) If you are looking for seafood I highly recommend going here.

Nice place near the water but the food was disappointing. We ordered the No Worries Combo $30.99. The calamari was undercooked, we barely received any grouper, and only 3 shrimp. The picture is the full order. We order two sides of mac and cheese expecting it to be good but it tasted like boxed mac and cheese. We threw it away.

Saw this restaurant online and wanted to try it. Parking is horrendous there. We did get sat down right away. When we went to order our food, my wife and I both specifically said, we wanted all the appetizers on our bill. Appetizers came out ,the conk fritters, and the gator bites were okay. The oysters that they ordered, they had to wait for crackers and hot sauce for them. , a manager actually had to come over and bring them over to us as he was walking around checking on tables. Then when the main courses came out, my wife had to wait for her cracker to break open her crab legs, as they were in the dishwasher??? Dinner food was ok once we got everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. Then, of course, he brought the bill, and I didn't notice at first, but he had split the appetizers between myself and another party. Especially after we told them more than once that we were paying for the appetizers on our bill, Then the other party had told him that he was paying for the other three people, and the one lady he gave her a bill for her dinner which I think he corrected and put on the other guys bill. , if you go there, Do not sit outside, because between the birds and the flies, you spend half your dinner swatting everything away. I think when we are in Cearwater.again, we will probably try somewhere else.

1st time trying this place and I highly recommend!! The vibes are everything you want in a restaurant close to the beach, giving "beach vibes." We were immediately seated by the host, we chose outside patio, and our waitress KK was quick and attentive. So so sweet! Patio was nice, perfect weather. Loved it! We tried the raw oysters, and I loved that it didn't give too much of that "fishy" taste. They were fresh and good! I opted for the fried shrimp specialty platter with sides of fries and coconut rice. Let me tell you some of the best tasting shrimp and coconut rice I've had, and I don't even like coconut. The fries? So fresh and crisp, light and airy. 10/10 recommend! Also tried the fried corn on the cob, and it was so flavorful! Check out this spot and ask for KK. You won't be disappointed!

A stop we visited while on Jimbos Jumbo Food Tour where we tried the she crab soup. The soup was phenomenal and I don't generally prefer creamy soups. It was so good, we went the next night for dinner where we all started with another couple of the soup. My husband and daughter got the snow crabs, my other daughter got the fruit salad and I tried the grilled avocados with ahi tuna poke. It was all delicious and fresh. Worth visiting again!

First time visit to Frenchy’s and glad we went. Fun beach vibe, and it was a quiet Friday night so we didn’t feel rushed and quickly got a table. Dani, our server, was friendly and attentive, food came out quick and was delicious. The cajan grouper sandwich was on the mild side of spicy, and really good. Seat yourself at the bar or one of the booths/tables. We ordered the Old School Grouper Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tenders Basket, Piña Colada and Jalepeno Hush Puppies. The grouper sandwich was flaky, crispy and well-seasoned. Hush puppies were fantastic. The chicken tenders were close to the best I’ve ever had and the fries are addicting. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was poorly constructed. It’s two tenders, tossed in buffalo sauce. The sauce soaked into the bread and the bread practically disintegrated. If the sandwich held together I have no doubts it would be amazing. The piña colada tasted like coconut milk; but some may like it like that. The sauce with the hush puppies was phenomenal. Definitely would come back. Great atmosphere, Great food and Great Service.

Despite really enjoying my chicken protein bowl, I just can’t recommend the food for the price. If you’re someone who knows you’re gonna pay because it’s a vacation, then disregard that entirely and know it’s all good food. Vacations or not, the food is pricey, but the drinks are exorbitantly expensive. $15 for a mixed drink and over $8 for a single beer is price gouging at its finest. If you’re still interested, then I can tell you this is a good spot. The crew is kind and moves quick and the food really was delicious. I’d recommend making the trek to a nearby grocery store and keeping stuff in your room if you wanna cut down on your stay like a pro. Bonus points to the bar crew. We didn’t know they were closing a bit after 9 PM but they still made us drinks. Really great people working here and I hope my gratuity went to them and not the resort. They worked their tails off for us and we enjoyed our meals!

Overall, what a great beach-side restaurant! Cocktails were great, atmosphere and view unbeatable. My fried grouper sandwich was stellar, but my wife’s Caesar Salad with grilled Grouper was just decent; the grilled grouper lacked flavor and was overdone. Otherwise, great spot!

Nice, casual american restaurant with the usual favorites like wings, burgers, fish sandwiches, bowls, salads and a good cocktail menu. The view of the sunset is incredible. Service was fast and polite, although we did need to get up to find silverware, napkins and small plates. We ordered the blackened fish sandwich, but it was too blackened, dry and burned. The wings were great, and the bowls were nicely done. They have live music (it was a Saturday). It's an ok place.

Frenchy's South Beach Cafe is a popular seafood spot with a vibrant and festive ambiance. Established in 1981, it has expanded to multiple locations and even includes a retro-style motel. The largest location, Frenchy's Rockaway Grill, offers favorites like She Crab soup and grouper sandwiches. Situated on Beach Walk, the cafe provides open-air dining with an ocean view. Known for its Key West bistro atmosphere, it also offers weekend specials such as whole live Maine lobster.
If you dine at Frenchy's, order the crab fries to start! They're fantastic! The coconut shrimp with marmalade comes with choice of two sides, and I selected the rice with black beans and coleslaw. I'd choose the shrimp and these sides again because they were delicious. The rice is very flavorful, and each grain is individual, meaning it isn't mushy. The coleslaw is slightly sweet because it's prepared with small chunks of pineapple. Overall, I'd order this entire meal again. Please note that the pictures I posted don't do this dish any justice because the umbrella created a shadow effect, and I really couldn't even really see my phone when I was taking the picture because it was so bright 🌞. If the weather permits, sit outside in their front patio and soak in the beach breeze.

We were so excited to try some of the appetizers from the comments so we ended up getting the garlic crab fries, buffalo shrimp, and grouper egg rolls. The crab fries were kind of soggy, along with salty and covered in seasoning. But the crab was good on it. The grouper egg rolls were okay, but nothing to brag about. They were also a little greasy. The Buffalo shrimp were the best part of the meal. Crunchy and full of flavor. As for the service, our waitress was nice but they were busy and it felt like the servers barely had time to visit each table, so the service was lacking a little.

The food and prices were really good. Best She-Crab soup I ever had. They had pretzels shaped like a fish for an appetizer and the crab fries were something different, but good. Then we finished it off with baked Alaska and our waiter was so friendly and we had a really wonderful time we were dressed casually and everyone welcome to us and it is such a nice restaurant, but the food quality was amazing. Definitely recommend.!!

We went for dinner to celebrate our Anniversary and had a very delightful experience. The service is outstanding and also is the food. We ordered the escargots and the scallops for appetizers, they were delicious, especially the escargots. As a main dish we ordered the Lobster tails, which were also so savory, they bring it with melted butter but it doesn’t need it, they came accompanied by fresh vegetables that were so tender. To finish we had the Key Lime Pie which was very good as everything else. The ambience was so nice, with a pianist playing so delicate. I highly recommend this place.
Desiree C — Google review
Came here for a young friend's 21st birthday. The wait staff was fantastic very attentive and friendly. The salds were good but lacked dressing, we had to requested more. My son ordered the escargot for an appetizer. There was an over abundance of cheese an onions and the snells themselves were rather small. My wife had surf and turf and when they say petite filet they mean it. The portion size of that piece of meat was small. She said the lobster on the cruise ship we just got off was much better than that she was served. To me that is pathetic, that lobster should have been perfectly. How can cruise ship serving over 1000 lobsters at a meal do it better than a restaurant serving maybe 200 lobsters? My son and I both had New York strip, it was cooked perfectly but had no flavor at all, it reqired a good amountof salt and pepper to give it some flavor. Both our cuts of meat had quite a bit of fat and gristle. The mash potatoes needed help they were dry and and needed an ample amount of salt and pepper as did the steak. The birthday girl was offered a complimentary desert for her birthday but nobody else was offered the choice to purchase one. For the price of dinner and the 20 percent gratuity I could go to any chain steak house restaurant multiple times and have more flavorful food and better cuts of meat. In my opinion food quality was poor and overpriced. I will not recommend this establishment to friends or family visiting the area...

This place is good but the prices are extremely high for the quality of food they are offering. Service is great. The fried chicken was delicious. NY strip steak was ok. Nice atmosphere. I don’t think I would return but it was a decent meal.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Comfort Food & Classic Florida Charm! Bob Heilman’s Beachcomber in Clearwater is an absolute gem! I had the fried chicken dinner, and it was incredible—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, and the fresh broccoli with hollandaise sauce added the perfect touch of richness. The house gravy tied it all together beautifully. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of old Florida charm. The staff was attentive and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re visiting Clearwater Beach or a local looking for a dependable spot with consistently great food, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

I can not comprehend the number of higher reviews. I simply do not get it. The 1980's called. They want their decorations and menu back. The wait staff in very bored voices explain that the place has been there for 70 some odd years (it shows about 40 of them). The food - WAY less than mediocre. The onion ring (appetizer) was one of the worst I have ever had. The seafood (Shrimp and Scallops) were brutally over cooked. The "side of beans" that everyone got were all untrimmed, uncleaned and nearly uncooked. Then, well then there were the INSTANT MASHED POTATOES!!!!! Seriously? Instant mashed potatoes? Yes, we are in the 1980's! (instant mashed in photo - they even look instant!) Disgusting. The "Fillet Mignon" was quite CLEARLY a Petit Bistro, or Shoulder Petite cut. FAR less costly and tender than a real fillet. We went as a four top (two couples) and when we asked to separate the check the waitress (was she not a bundle of joy) simply divided the check in two equal parts. Needless to say, as new owners of a Condo just south of the "downtown" Clearwater area - we will not be back and will not bring guests to Beachcomber. So many other fabulous options so close. Seriously, they do even try. Note to Piano lady...."Swing Low Sweet Chariot" is never, not ever a good selection for dinner music.

Bait House Tackle & Tavern is a historic dockside fish shack and tackle shop located on Clearwater Beach Marina. Established in the 1940s, it offers an elevated menu of fresh local seafood, along with a selection of beer and wine. The tiny spot doubles as a gift shop and serves up locally caught seafood, including the world-famous Drunken Shrimp in bourbon creole reduction.
One of my favorite local spots to chill. Close enough for a quick walk to Pier 60, but secluded enough to be away from the crowds. Beautiful gulf views and sunsets. House made Sangria and Druken Shrimp are my top 2 on the menu! Casual beach dining. Small seating area so sometimes have to wait a few minutes but the staff is awesome! I have never have a bad experience here. My family and I love it!
Justina V — Google review
Fun little restaurant and tackle shop. The atmosphere was nice even though it was right next to the causeway the traffic can’t be heard that much. the staff was really accommodating! The drunken shrimp was by far the best thing we had there but the fish tacos were also pretty good. I love the local beers they served, but they do not have any mixed drinks. The public bathrooms were located outside the restaurant and around the corner which was not as convenient as everyone is waiting in line for them.
Alyssa H — Google review
Really lovely local fish tavern. Menu is featured around the catch of the day which ensures the food is fresh and high quality. We had the fish spread, fish Reuben, and fish tacos. We loved the taste of the food, particular about out to the homemade Jalapeño jam! Only critique is that the fish tacos could benefit from being served with a side dish like the sandwiches as it didn’t feel the same portion size. Useful to know that you need to pay for parking as well. We will be back to try the rest of the menu!

You can’t get more traditional and flavorful than this place! All their dishes are made with fresh fish of the day, and you can choose how you’d like it prepared — all from the same catch! An excellent option! The preparation is top-notch, with great quality and flavor. The service is very good, and the atmosphere is excellent. It’s definitely a place everyone should visit to enjoy delicious dishes and great beer in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended! 🍺🐟👌🏻 Btw the drunken shrimp are awesome!

Surprisingly good restaurant right on the water. Looking from the outside, it doesn't look like it'll be worth a stop, but I fully recommend it. I got some fish cakes and the fish tacos. Delicious!

This was the best restaurant we visited on Clearwater Beach. The food was tremendous and drinks were ice cold. Everything is fresh and was hot. Highly recommend the Reuben sandwich and drunkin shrimp. Great date night location

Great fresh food and service was right on time! The fresh breeze outside was nice too. Really enjoyed the Wahoo fish taco and the cold boiled shrimp!

Great food! Go for the drunken shrimp! Its not overly spicy - just right. Fish tacos too! The railing needs some cleaning though, it has some moss due to moisture im guessing. Lovely staff. Yep for me!

Named after the loggerhead turtles that frequent the area, this upscale eatery offers a cozy yet classy atmosphere with romantic ocean views. As Clearwater Beach's only AAA Four-Diamond restaurant, it provides seasonally-inspired dishes such as duck confit and black grouper, along with an extensive wine selection.
We came here for lunch and had a lovely experience. The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic — refined and with a touch of high-end cuisine. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful ocean view, which made the meal even more special. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place for a fantastic dinner. Our server Amanda was exceptional! We sat outside for sunset dinner. The bread is amazing! We had sushi, Ceasar salad and grouper dinners. It was all delicious. This is an upscale restaurant, although we thought the prices were reasonable for portion you received.

Went here for our anniversary dinner and it was a fantastic! Every drink and course was so pretty and perfectly cooked. We sat outside on the deck with a perfect view of the sunset. If that was enough by itself, our server, Amanda, was exceptional- so kind and helpful as well as knowledgeable and attentive. Wouldn't hesitate to go back!

My birthday dinner could not have been more perfect . Our waiter Juan repeatedly said he would take care of me for a memorable evening , etc . He was friendly , informative, super great with the pacing of each course , and just a delight . The food was simply outstanding. We each had an order of Diver scallops , shared the caprese salad , and he had grouper and I had Chilean sea bass. Perfectly cooked , tender , delightful light crisp on top. Also Juan provided an amuse bouche of delicious spanikopata . The scallops are to die for , just perfection . Incredibly smooth burrata on the caprese salad . The light delicious sauce on the fish is simply divine . Although we turned down dessert , Juan politely encourage us to enjoy a complimentary birthday dessert so we chose the. Vanilla crème brûlée. Again , outstanding . A beautiful evening g in every aspect.

Had an amazing experience here food was exceptional. I was seated at a bar table my waitress was phenomenal I wish I could remember her name. The meal here was easily the best I had during my time in Clearwater Beach. I highly recommend and will definitely return for another wonderful experience.
Tashia — Google review
We came to have a nice meal and watch the sunset from the balcony. We reserved a table, but they could not accommodate 5 at the tables outside, so we had to sit inside. That actually wasn’t that much of an issue and you will absolutely get a great view of the sunset, but still a bit disappointing. Nice meal? Absolutely not. Caesar salad was very bland. NY Strip steak was small and not very good. My son got the “Petite Steak” from the kids meal and they really honored the “petite” part. It was basically a meat patty for a slider. My wife’s tenderloin was very roast like and pretty dry. My son’s pizza came out burnt. At the end of the day we spent $250 for what I would consider $60 quality food. Service was also not great. Had to ask 3 different servers that we were ready to order. Had to ask for bread 3 times. From the time we sat it was an hour and a half before we got our food. Again, not a huge issue, because we got to enjoy the views of the sunset during that timeframe. If you want good food and that’s the priority, don’t go here. If you want a really good view of the sunset and don’t care about food quality or cost or service, then this is your place.
Bryce B — Google review
The food was fantastic, HIGHLY recommend the oysters Rockefeller! The Elk was delicious but would have preferred a little less black pepper. Crème brûlée was amazing and my husband said the snapper was one of the best meals he’s ever had. Michelle was our server and she was so attentive and down to earth.
Carissa C — Google review
Nice restaurant located inside of the Sandpearl Resort. It's open to people not staying in the resort and has a beautiful view of the beach if you sit on the patio (which is on the second floor), we didn't have trouble getting a table but I suggest making a reservation on the weekend. If you drive they provide free valet for up to 3 hours. The food was pretty good, they brought some complimentary bread and hors d'oeuvres while we waited, the crispy flakey bites were delicious. I ordered the Gulf Grouper, which was good but the sear was a bit over cooked (in my opinion at least) which I ended up cutting off. The other two people in my party had a salad and the NY strip which they both liked. Overall we had a very nice dinner, if you looking for an upscale restaurant with a beautiful and quiet view this is a great option.

Surprisingly Good. We did not want to stray far away from the hotel tonight. We decided to stay on site. So very glad we did. The food here is fabulous. I mean really great. You could order 3 or 4 sides and have a meal of wonderful side dishes.

We've eaten at Shor several times while staying at the Hyatt. It's always quiet, laid back, and the food is incredible. Service is terrific also. The New York Strip and Grouper bites are especially fantastic but we've never been disappointed with anything on their menu. Drink menu is great also! Highly recommend eating here if you're staying at the Hyatt or anywhere in Clearwater beach.

This was a cool place to try. The offerings aren't exceptional but more of an immersion to eat near the beach. I had the steak frites and a salad, both of which are good. I normally wouldn't go for a hotel restaurant due to high mark up but it was nice to try.

I had several wonderful experiences dining here during my stay. Rob my server was excellent!!! I celebrated my birthday while dining. Rob went out of his way to make me feel special by singing me Happy birthday and bringing out a dessert with a candle. I couldn't be any more pleased with the service or the food! I will definitely be back. My friends who also attended were very happy, especially with the Mexican street corn!!

Have to concur with previous reviews that our experience at SHOR was a positive one. Ben was our waiter he gave suggestions plus didn’t rush us in anyway to make a quick decision on food. We enjoyed our wine and appetizer which was the calamari before our dinner order was placed. My husband had the fresh catch which was red snapper and Ben indicated it was a good size, didn’t disappoint. I had the blackened grouper sandwich tasty with a side of fries crispy. Atmosphere enjoyable and left satisfied.

The restaurant boasts a glorious ambiance and a stunning location, paired with tremendous service. The food was beautifully presented and the cocktails were exceptional, though the seasoning was slightly off and the fish was overcooked—still, I’d definitely return to give them another chance. Our server John D made my birthday dinner exceptional, I highly recommend that you request him.

We ate dinner here twice. The pad thai with shrimp was good but the sauce was a different than I'm used to. Not saucy enough so we asked for extra. But the Volcano sushi was fabulous! And I loved the Asian Pear drink.

We celebrated our anniversary here with family and friends, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The seafood was excellent—especially the tartar and sushi, which were absolute standouts. The ambiance was relaxed yet refined, and the beach views added that magical touch. We ended the meal on a sweet note with their delicious mocha. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time. Highly recommend for special occasions or just a great evening by the water!

Food was decent but just stuck to appetizers as the service was horrible. Ended up just closing our after that and not ordering entrees. Of course our waitress never came back forever to ask us for that order. Took forever to get our champagne bottle. Pork belly and octopus were good but ceviche want great.

Great place to grab food and drinks by the beach. We parked in the public lot next door, ate, then went it the beach for a couple hours. We got the Tuna Tower, Carnitas Pork Nachos and Gulf Grouper Basket with Onion Rings. It ended up being more food than we needed for three people. We also got some beers and the Skinny Blueberry Lemonade - very tasty.

Clearwater, Florida We ate lunch at the SANDBAR 🌊 Very good food, right on the water! Our Waiter was a handsome young man, who was very pleasant and attentive to our every need for our party of eight. We were seated right away. Our food came quickly and we were able to package up what we weren't able to eat, to save for later. They served up a hand patted burger that was really thick! Burgers came with choice of fries or chips. The Jerk Chicken Sandwich wasn't spicy at all, with a wonderful flavor.

This is such an amazing spot! If you get lucky enough to be there when Meg is the bartender, consider yourself very lucky…. We visited this place (we sat at the bar) in November 2022 and really enjoyed the quality and portion sizes of the food, so coming back in June 2025 was a must. Once again, Kelsey at the bar provided perfect customer service. Every time my drink was almost finished, she would ask if I wanted another, and it would be ready by the time I finished my current drink. I love that kind of service! The manager also came over to check how my wife and I were enjoying our meal. He was very professional and seemed to run a great service with an excellent staff. We will definitely be back again. I would post pictures of our food, but we ate it too quickly! Lol. The fish tacos, along with the chips and guacamole, are a must-try!

We didn’t eat, just had some drinks and a beautiful sunset. The guy at the bar was very nice, but there was one lady that told us, twice, that we couldn’t pay with ApplePay and the guy told us we absolutely could do that. She was kind of grumpy and asked my husband she needed to “see the face” of the other person he was buying a drink for (for me). Very unprofessional and could ruin one’s experience. Because of her, I took one star off.

Hogan's Hangout is a casual 2-story restaurant located near Clearwater Beach, offering a laid-back atmosphere with a touch of Hulk Hogan nostalgia. The menu features pub eats and cocktails, with favorites like loaded nachos and King of the Sea Pasta. On Monday nights, guests can enjoy karaoke and even win a championship belt. The friendly staff adds to the inviting vibe, making it an overall great experience for food and drinks.
Very tasty food, great service by Sam, our server, and all around cook atmosphere. The gift shop is a few stores down from the restaurant. The restaurant has a rooftop bar, but we didn't try it on this visit. Ask about the specials of the day, we got a burger and fries for a reasonable price. Very nice of them to extend Military Discount. Really cool spot.
Michael D — Google review
Items Ordered: Buffalo Wings, Mushroom and Swiss burger, Southwest Chili Burger, Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Cheesesteak, Calamari, Mozzarella Sticks. Met up with some friends at Hogan's hangout and got a table immediately at 6pm which was unexpected for how busy the beach was. The drink menu is huge with lots of options. Calamari and Mozzarella Sticks for appetizers were very tasty and popular with my group. Everyone enjoyed their food and portion size was decent. My only complaint was the price which was very expensive and was well over $45 per person. A wrap, drink and Calamari was over $60!! Our server was awesome and the vibe in the restaurant was themed well. We were told that Hulk Hogan stops by on Monday nights so take that into consideration. $3 tacos on Tuesday and BOGO wings on Wednesday are great options to save dome money. I'd stop here again but price is very high so 4/5 stars.

Great little restaurant with Hulk memoribilia everywhere and wrestling videos playing on all the TVs. We got there at noon on Saturday and had no wait. Food was good. Beer was good. Server who sat us was a snot ball but our waitress Kim was nice. Not real friendly or talkative but nice. All the servers seemed like that. We had the buffalo chicken dip and it was very good. It has shirts and bobble heads for sale but that’s all. The actual store was around the corner.
Cory P — Google review
I love Hulk! lol this place is fun to escape the beach and hang for an hour to grab drinks and some food. We got the combo platter (wings, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks and chips with salsa) my bf ordered it but I would’ve gotten something with more protein. The mozzarella sticks were amazing! They’re fat and lightly breaded which is how I like them, some of the best I’ve ever had. The chips and pickles are something I’ve never been a fan of so that why I gave it 4 stars. Our waitress told us Hulk comes on Mondays for karaoke and he is the judge. I love this! Too bad we’re not here long enough because I would love to meet the legend!
Bailey K — Google review
Very cool place, we just had drinks and appetizers. We came on a Monday, and I believe it was $25 per person just to walk in the door, so we chose to sit on the rooftop. The atmosphere is very fun and lively, the apps and drinks were great as well. Will return next year on our vacation!
Phillip B — Google review
LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING BROTHER....As a lifelong wrestling fan, I traveled all the way from Long Island, New York, to visit Hogan's Hangout during a time of mourning for a wrestling legend. I was so glad I made the trip. This spot is more than just a restaurant; it's a place of community where fans can celebrate and feel at home. They also take their karaoke very seriously, which makes for a really fun environment. The food was absolutely delicious. The fried pickles were perfectly crispy, and the chicken sandwich was very good. It was also great to pair my meal with a real American beer. If you're a wrestling fan or just looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming atmosphere, Hogan's Hangout is the place to be. It's truly a spot where you can chill out and celebrate the spirit of wrestling. I cant wait to visit again. Hulkamania forever!

We went because of Hulk Hogan theme. The prices are a little high but that is to be expected with the location and theme. The food was better than we thought it would be. The services wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. We could have been at any restaurant… the hulk theme fell flat. There are decorations and Tshirts forsale. The wait staff could make it more fun and memorable. Overall food is good but too expensive… if you are a big fan check it out but don’t expect much from the theming. Check out the Hulk store it’s more fun than the restaurant. If you’re going for the food it’s probably not the best choice.
