Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Siam Park is an outdoor water park with a Thai theme, offering thrilling slides for adventure seekers and family-friendly attractions. Visitors can experience the adrenaline rush of a 28-meter vertical drop slide and artificial wave pools, while children can enjoy the dedicated play area and entertaining sea lion shows. The park also features a dolphinarium and areas for relaxation, including lazy rivers. Additionally, animal lovers can explore Jungle Park to witness captivating bird shows and observe jaguars and pumas.
This is by far the best waterpark I have ever visited. The variety of slides is outstanding, and I particularly enjoyed spending time in the wave pool, which was both exciting and relaxing. A useful tip for future visitors: although the official opening time listed on Google is 10:00, I highly recommend arriving around 8:30–9:00 a.m. This allows you to secure the best sunbeds, especially those located in front of the wave pool, which offer the most convenient and enjoyable spot for the day. Another recommendation is to purchase the Fast Pass (€38 at the time of my visit). It proved to be absolutely worth it, as regular queues for many of the popular slides were between 40–60 minutes. Thanks to the pass, I was able to enjoy all the attractions without long waiting times. Overall, this park exceeded my expectations and provided an experience that was both thrilling and memorable. I will certainly return on my next visit, it truly offers a perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and excitement.
Maria S — Google review
This water park was great, the rides were fast and really got your adrenaline pumping. The staff were friendly and were doing their job efficiently trying to cut down the waiting times. I recommend buying your tickets in advance and try to get the fast pass ticket. As when we tried it had sold out in the whole park. The waiting lines were so long, by the time you got to the top of the line on your next slide you were completely dry. There was typically 2 lines one normal and the other fast track, the fast track steps were always wet while the normal line was dry just to show you how long the normal line is. We went on a ride with 4 people on a floaty. There were 4 girls in a group and they were in fast track and we were in the normal queue. They went on the ride 4 times before we even got to go on it once. So make sure to get your fast pass ticket. They have lockers, showers and lots of shops. The rides were definitely enjoyable. We had so much fun when in Tenerife again we will definitely visit again with our fast pass tickets. I definitely recommend going to Siam Park. Just make sure to get here early so you have enough time to go on all the slides.
Honest R — Google review
Best in the word. I do recomand buying a VIP pass. A bit expensive but if you are a fan of parks like that is really worthy. The queues for each ride were infernal. We end up going 4 or 5 times on one slide while other people were advancing only 5 steps. The same for all of them except for one water slide which doesn’t have a fast pass but is still worth it at least once. Definitely you will need some water shoes but they do sell it there at around 11 euros. You can take a locker aswell for your belongings. Be there before they open, make sure you don’t miss anything.
Iulia J — Google review
Amazing water park! We went on a Tuesday mid October and it was busier than expected. We arrived at around 9.15 am and went straight into the park, we had pre-booked VIP which was so worth it. You are handed a towel and a wristband, then we headed straight for the lockers (which was a good idea as by 10:30 there was already a queue). After leaving our things in the locker, we waited for tower of power (rides open at 10am) and were first on the slide. After the is, we spent the morning going around the park with little to no queue in the fast pass lane. During the afternoon, we had to queue 5-10 mins for rides, even with fast pass, but the normal lanes were queuing for 30 mins - 1 hour so it was really worth it. The food is pretty basic (hot dogs, fries etc.) but as it was included with VIP we stopped for lunch around 1pm. In the buffet restaurant there is more choice and you can take as much as you want with the fast pass ticket. Prices for food were fairly reasonable though and you could buy a meal with a drink for 10-15€. From 1-4 seemed to be the busiest time in the park, with queues of 10-15 minutes even with fast pass. But after 4pm all the single use fast pass tickets seemed to have finished and we basically had free rein on any slide and were able to go around multiple times with no queue. Not sure how many VIP tickets they sell per day, but if you don’t want to spend your day in a queue it’s well worth the money. You don’t necessarily need water shoes - just bring an old pair of flip flops and leave them at the bottom of rides but with water shoes you’d definitely be more comfortable. The free park bus was completely full, but it’s just a 5 minute walk to the public bus which will take you back to los cristianos or las americas for less than €2.
Izzy — Google review
Amazing experience at Siam Park that is well worth a visit if you are in Tenerife. We went on a Thursday as a family of 4 ( I would avoid much of weekend unless you have to ). We booked tickets online (we booked twin ticket with Loro Parque ) but also there was no queue if you booked online.( queue were big for people buying tickets at entrance ). I suggest you get there at opening to catch a place to set "base" , as they fill up very quick. There are loads of buses and taxis that can get you to and from Siam Park. Food inside is well priced and good. Went on many rides but everywhere there was a fair bit of a queue min 15-30 min wait for each, so highly recommend the Fast Track pass ( you get fast track once for all rides ) but well worth €38. Towards the end of the day the ride queues are not that big so use the pass early and then less queues in afternoon. Facilities inside the park are great, clean and staff are very friendly. The Wave area is amazing.
Lucian G — Google review
Absolutely, 100% worth a visit, definitely worth the money! You won't be disappointed. If you don't mind queuing for rides (for a while), I highly recommend VIP fastrack or the all-inclusive package (which includes locker, towels and food and drinks) Definitely take beach shoes as the concrete is ruffled in some areas and can be quite painful underfoot, let alone hot in summer months. Lots wore flip flops or crocks and put them on their wrist during rides. A lot of the queue waiting lines are shaded with trees, so not too much time standing around in the sun. Every ride is worth the wait. There's also a free bus from a few local areas. I'd recommend booking online (blue light discount through some websites!) you can buy tickets at the gate but they sell out for fastrack quite fast! You won't be disappointed, worth every penny. We absolutely loved this place and will most certainly be back 🫶
Angharad D — Google review
Excellent place, easily you need to book at least half a day for this attraction. If you like animals you will be not bored for a whole day. Food and drinks available on site. Wasn't that crowded in October. Highly recommend.
Karman B — Google review
Aquatic park really great for kids and adults différents place with incredible sensation. Many food places and even for smokers in the Thai bar only . Better to bring your own water shoes really practical or can cost you around 12 pounds and probably easy to find in the Thai shop . You can rent a locker for 7 euros but before to take a locker be sure of the one you choose, looking the map , because there is different places and you have a big changing room. After enjoy your day

Shopping
Siam Mall is a unique shopping destination located in the heart of tourism on the island of Tenerife. This indoor-outdoor shopping mall features Thai-influenced architecture and a Zen-like vibe, offering a new concept in shopping centers. With over 70 shops dedicated to fashion, leisure, and dining, it provides one of the most complete commercial options in the Canary Islands. The mall boasts well-known brands such as Mango, Zara, Guess, Swarovski, and more.
Lots of shops and restaurants here. Also the supermarket is quite big on ground floor. Lots of easy access to all levels. Lifts, flat escalators etc. stores are all really good sizes. Beautiful fountains inside. It’s a really nice place to visit. Something there for everyone.
Wolvoblakeys — Google review
Great shopping centre with lots of restaurants and shops to explore. Lots of toilets and awesome water features. It even has a supermarket. The car park was extremely full and very difficult to get a space however we didn't realise there was an underground parking level.
Hannah D — Google review
Huge, varied games like outdoor chess, plenty of shops both clothing, scents and food. The smell coming from some of them was amazing. Definitely worth the trip. The clothing shop checkout was futuristic, youll see what i mean. Blew my mind. Also, If you get a bus from Adeje, you get picked up same exact bus bay you get dropped off. I mention that as their was some confusion amongst people outside I found.
LPR — Google review
The mall was nice but the top floor was extremely hot. There are several stores and a huge supermarket. We ended up going on a public holiday because everything else was closed. So it was quite busy that day. Be careful of the small cars that children drive. Sometimes they do not pay attention and almost crash up against people. At a certain point we decided to leave due to the crowd. We waited about 30-40 minutes for a taxi. In the future I would probably visit again, but not on a holiday.

Amazing place to visit!! Such an incredible place, lots of lovely fashionable shops. Beautiful scenery and decor, water feature was so cool! Good restaurant options for getting something to eat, you could easily waste the day away shopping, looking and enjoying it!

Nice thai mall. It's a great idea to have an outside part on the second floor. There's nice decoration and a fountain. It's recommended to visit.

Plenty of shops high end and on the more budget scale. Great selection for food and also drinks. Play areas for children and great parking. Would definitely recommend this mall and I shall definitely be returning! ☺️

Free bus to the shopping mall, worth a visit but be warned it's not super big. We spent just over an hour and found what we needed before heading for the free retur bus to near our hotel.

Perfect little shopping centre in San Eugineo. Great supermarket downstairs for all your holiday groceries and more and very reasonably priced. Stop and have a coffee and pastry, it's helps to unwind. Suitable for everyone, toilets available, parking downstairs and wheelchair friendly. Enjoy

This subway in Tenerife is absolutely fantastic! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a freshly made subway sandwich and a cold beer in the sun. It’s the perfect combo for a happy day! And the service is top-notch - a full 5 stars all the way!

I’m a Client since years living 1min away from subway San Eugenio and I buy minimum 3 times a week and always get a residential discount having the subway card knowing all the staff working there , recently I was denied for the 1st time the discount which is ridiculous after spending over the years, I was told that the owner is not interested anymore with resident discounts which is a shame The African staff has always been good but he told me that he can’t do the resident discounts as he does not want to be told off by the owner, it’s for the owner to understand that we consume regularly and regular customers do make a difference in any kind of business as I’m too in sales profession hope you’ll will work on it but for now not happy with this kind of service !!!

Kevin and his team always look after me and know exactly what I want when I go in, I have always enjoyed a subway in any country I have lived but I can confidently say this is the cleanest, efficient and friendly branch I have ever been in, they even compete for who can make me the best wrap and they are always tasty! Thanks guys!

Second time coming, always got very friendly, patient and helpful service. Food was just how it is in other branches - I was very satisfied, much tastier and more filling dinner than in other restaurants around.

Asian restaurant
Chinese noodle restaurant
The Noodle Box and Sushi restaurant at Siam Mall offers delicious food and excellent service. The staff are helpful and the lady serving is particularly kind. They are known for their great variety of dishes, which are both simple and tasty. Although slightly more expensive than other places in the mall, it is worth it. The only downside is that sometimes there can be a short queue due to the fresh cooking process, but this does not take too long.
I ordered a takeaway of Tom Yum soup, samosas, noodles with Katsu chicken and vegetables, as well as some California rolls – and every dish was absolutely beautiful. The Tom Yum soup was the highlight: rich, tangy, and perfectly hot with just the right balance of spice and citrus – exactly how a good Tom Yum should taste. I know this having lived in Thailand for 6 months. The samosas were delicious and crisp, with a lovely golden crunch on the outside and a flavourful filling inside. The noodles were tasty and well-seasoned, with tender Katsu chicken and plenty of fresh vegetables that still had a bit of bite – just how I like them. The California rolls were fresh, neatly made, and a perfect light finish to the meal. Fantastic food – full of flavour, well-prepared, and great quality.
Chantell R — Google review
We had noodles with beef and katsu chicken. We ordered the big portions (1000 ml) and they are really big, so if you’re not that hungry, the regular size (750 ml) is more than enough. You can choose the type of noodles, the salad, and the meat (or tofu if you’re vegan), as well as the sauces. They prepare everything fresh in front of you. I got the Pad Thai with katsu chicken and for me it was quite spicy, so watch out if you don’t like spicy food. I went back to try the soy sauce and teriyaki katsu chicken, and it was great. For the price of €10, the regular size is definitely enough to make you full. The lady working there was very kind and always smiling, which made the experience even better :)
Jovana M — Google review
Great quality sushi, noodles and asian snacks. Spring rolls were very tasty, crispy and fresh with a great sweet chili sauce. Yakitori chicken a bit dry but tasted great with lots of black sesame in the sauce. The Moriwasi sushi box exceeded expectation and tasted fresh, one of the best I had. Highly recommended if you are in Siam Mall
Hans J — Google review
We found the food very oily and there was just too much for sauce for my liking The staff were really nice and we were able to take our time with ordering. We wished there was a vegetarian wok seperate to where the meat is cooked but we did see that the wok was turned over in the flame which was good. Lots of choice for food as well and different options

Fine dining restaurant
Fusion restaurant
La Cupula Restaurant is a Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant in the Basque Country which offers mouthwatering dishes that are perfect for a culinary fest. The restaurant's menu is limited to just four main courses, each of which is carefully prepared in a unique robatayaki (Japanese barbeque) style with yucca and cheese made from flowers from Gran Canarias Guia region.
Our dinner here was incredible! We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairing for a birthday celebration, and every dish was crafted with top-quality ingredients and tasted amazing. The wine pairings were perfect, enhancing each course beautifully. The staff made the evening feel extra special, even bringing out a candle with the dessert. The service and attention to detail were impeccable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion!
Raphaël C — Google review
This was a lovely restaurant, with very attentive staff. I was even given a cushion to put my handbag on and a lovely rose to mark our wedding anniversary. It was quite quiet though, so not a lot of atmosphere. Also, even though every course was explained a menu detailing each course would have been helpful.
Samantha F — Google review
An evening of mixed reactions. My partner had a food gras creme brûlé which was greatly enjoyed. Followed by poulet which was very good. I had the Canarian potatoes / on this case a fancy layered version covered in a cheese sauce. Nice enough but not worth 19 euros. The cherne fish though was a complete disappointment. Overcooked and dry with a bland white tasteless sauce. Service was very attentive. Prices fair. Just a pity one of us loved their meal and the other was left very underwhelmed and disappointed.
Heather J — Google review
Everthing is perfect here. Food and drinks are amazing. The service was awesome!
G ( — Google review
The food was good, with no dish being disappointing. However, we missed that extra “wow” factor or an element of surprise during the meal. The wine pairings were excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly, which we truly appreciated. The atmosphere in the dining room was very quiet, we would have enjoyed some soft piano or background music to make the experience feel more relaxed. As it was completely silent, it felt a little exposed. While it’s not a place we’re likely to revisit in the coming years, we still value the effort and care shown by the staff. For us personally, it didn’t quite feel worth the nearly 300€ for the tasting menu with wine pairing for two.
Jeremy D — Google review
We went here for a birthday dinner and the experience was lovely. Staff are incredible, service is exceptional and they are very friendly and helpful. Food did not disappoint, the flavours were incredible. Cherne fish was something I highly recommend, similar texture to cod. Presentation Of the food was to a high standard. The restaurant was a bit hot, the AC would have been nice. Also it was very bright, I would have preferred low / dimmed lighting. Overall a wonderful experience !
Charlene D — Google review
What a lovely setting for a special occasion. Beautiful views of the sea and coastline and a wonderful starlit ceiling make this a real treat. Exceptional service from start to finish and you are very much experiencing the Michelin star treatment. We asked for best table to celebrate a milestone birthday and we’re slightly disappointed to be located at the back of the rotunda but still able to experience the views. We had the a la carte and were very impressed. Bread, two starters, 2 mains, water , one glass of wine and one aperitif 135 Euro. What was disconcerting was as holiday makers we were on smart casual wear whilst our fellow diners opposite were in full ball gown and dinner jacket which made us feel slightly uncomfortable.

Puerto Colón, located in the heart of the Zec zone for the conservation of cetaceans, is a prime departure point for sea excursions. These trips offer opportunities to witness an array of marine life, including up to 29 species of cetaceans, 4 types of sea turtles, and 11 varieties of seabirds against the stunning backdrop of El Teide. For those seeking adventure on the water, jet skiing is a popular activity here.
very busy when we visited but plenty of bars restaurants and shops to visit. the beach is very accessible for people with disabilities one small downside was you do get hassled by street vendors trying to sell you tat .

It has the potential to be a fantastic marina but this gets lost in all the places trying to grab your Euros. It's not a sit outside a cafe or bar and watch the world go by place. It's literally somewhere to board your boat trip

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Aqualand Costa Adeje is an open-air water park complex located in the lively Costa Adeje area of Tenerife. The park features a variety of thrilling slides and tube rides, as well as kids' pools and a dolphinarium where visitors can enjoy dolphin shows. Aqualand offers a perfect mix of adrenaline-pumping adventures and leisurely water-based attractions, catering to families and water enthusiasts of all ages.
It was a great choice for our 8- and 10-year-old girls. It wasn’t crowded at all, even though we visited during the Easter school holiday week in April. The water was a bit colder than we expected, but the sunshine helped a lot. The slides were really good, and we really liked the photo system — professional photographers take pictures of you throughout the park, and you can later view or buy them, including a nice group/family photo. The dolphin show was actually better than the one at Loro Park. It was longer, and they also explained everything in English. Some kids from the audience could even join the show in a very safe and fun way.

Aqualand Costa Adeje is simply amazing! The dolphins are incredible to watch, and the slides are extremely thrilling – perfect for adrenaline lovers. The park is spotless, well-maintained, and very modern, making it a fantastic day out for the whole family. Highly recommended!

Great experience highly recommend! I had a 5 years and a 2 year old and we stayed in the kids area which was perfect for them. WARNING to all parents! Do not go down the slides in the toddler and kid section, it is not designed for adults! I witnessed many people including my wife hurt them selves at after completing the slide!!!! Should probably have a warning or something in place! Apart from that it was amazing!
The S — Google review
We visited with two 11-year-olds and one 12-year-old and had a lot of fun! We really liked that there were no long waiting lines, and the dolphin show was great too. The only downside was that the slides closed before 4:30 p.m. — we would have appreciated being able to stay in the park until 5 p.m. As soon as the dolphin show ended, they started closing everything down.

Big Q at the entrance but it went fast. Lockers are paying be. We were there with 2 kids, 10y and 13y and it were really fun. What we didn't like were the big Q on rides and security who didn't tell us that our kids were not tall enough for the ride, so we waited 40 min on Q for nothing. And we are not the only one, he did that to others as well. It's good that you can get out and back in to park. Delphine show is AMAZING, definitely don't miss out.
Marina Z — Google review
I really rate this park, it has some decent rides and they allow you to take your own food along unlike other places which is handy. Good selection of rides with minimal queuing. Kids areas were cool and kept the little ones entertained for hours
Darren F — Google review
Very good diversity of rides for all ages. Only one option of food, fast food-3 bags of medium chips 27 euros !!
Catia A — Google review
Great day out and the highlight was the dolphin show. Amazing how well trained they are. I couldn't believe people getting up and leaving during it was very disrespectful and distracting.. otherwise what a show. Kids loved the slides for 5 years old. I would advise bring food to it as its expensive.

X-Sur Centro Comercial is the second largest shopping center in Costa Adeje, offering a wide range of shops focusing on leisure, sports, and fashion. Visitors can also find a Mercadona supermarket and a large food court with diverse culinary options ranging from Asian takeaways to coffee bars. One of its highlights is the modern cinema featuring seven screening rooms. The atmosphere is charming, complemented by an array of restaurants catering to various tastes.
This place has everything you need under one roof, supermarket downstairs, there is a lift aswell if you need it. Also down on the lower floor is a very handy self serve laundry with different size washing machines and dryers, the machines come loaded with washing powder automatically dispensed, if you want to add your own power, softener or freshener pearls, you have to add it with your cloths. All the machines are easy to use from the control and payment machine, the dryer are the same. There are handy folding tables for your convenience and a few chairs if you wanted to sit and wait, otherwise you can browse the shops on the ground floor, you can grab something to eat or drink aswell as other outlets. On the upper floor is the cinema if you fancied that. There are two different car parks one ground level and a larger one underneath the complex were the laundry is, to reached the lower car park you have to drive round to the exit and its on your left. There is a McDonald's on the site aswell. When you exit the centre onto the main road if you fancy a burger king it's over the roundabout turning left, the food there is really tasty.

A very good mall. We rented a vacation home next to the mall and it has a very good grocery store and excellent restaurants (probably the best I have experienced in a mall. High class!). Not a big mall but good quality shops.

A supermaket and some local Spanish shops which are mostly empty. We went for the advertised arcades with kids which were a room with very little entertainment. Nice toilets. Not for tourists. See Siam Mall...

A small shopping centre just a short walk from San Eugineo. Nice for a morning coffee and a snack. Not much in the centre except for the mercadona and some good sports shops but prices are very similar to home. Nice to visit l, very friendly, suitable for all.

Playa del Duque is a bustling beach area perfect for swimming and sunbathing, offering a resort-like atmosphere with its abundance of high-end accommodations. The beach features striped beach huts, loungers, and parasols against a backdrop of rugged cliffs, turquoise waters, and palm trees.
The beach is nice but sometimes are big waves, not suitable for families with small children, the sand is nice,2 sunbeds and an umbrella are 19.5E or you can take only 1 sunbed(6E),

Very nice and clean beach with big waves and scenic views. There is a beautiful promenade to walk, with good restaurants and small local shops! Convenient parking underground. Small shopping mall. Beach has nice sand. Depending on weather waves can be very big. Good location for photoshoot
Maria L — Google review
We’ve been all around Tenerife and this is definitely our favourite beach. Plenty of space and seating available, 2 sun beds under the umbrella for €19,95 (and a 3rd for 6€ more). It gets relatively busy so good to get there earlier (10am) if you want a seat, if not there is plenty of space to set up on the sand. The beach is clean and the water is great, if you want to buy something from the beach sellers it’s good to have some cash.
Chris C — Google review
A beautiful beach, somewhat commercial, and often crowded with tourists. However, the beach itself has light sand and is clean. There's a shower at the light beach connecting to the dark beach, and free toilets are also available near the bar. The ocean was warm here, so we recommend it!

Free beach with turquoise water. Yellow sand, black sand - everything that you would desire. It is possible to rent an umbrella for a fee or buy one on the spot. Great experience.

One of my favorite beaches, golden sand, good entrance to the water, no big wave, there is a shower. If you dive, you can find all kinds of different fish at breakwaters!

The beach was quite clean and spacious (October 2025). The sand is black and volcanic. There is a beautiful promenade above where you can walk, with restaurants and small shops. There were showers and toilets, but not everywhere.

Steak house
Grill
Meat Boutique Carnicería y Restaurante is a hidden gem that offers a unique dining experience. The meat is displayed, showcasing its freshness and quality. The marinated steak in chimichurri sauce, BBQ ribs, and lamb are highly recommended. While the portion sizes are decent, some find the prices on the higher side for dinner. Miguel, the butcher, provides exceptional service and high-quality meat.
Recommend highly. We shared the mixed grill for two. It could have fed three people it was so generous, so we took some back to the apartment. Meat was very varied, extremely tender and cooked just perfectly. The two waitresses were so lovely and so caring. I’m sure I have the name wrong but Althia was a sweetheart. All credit to Bruno on the grill. We’ll be back in September.

This butcher and steakhouse is absolutely top-notch! The quality of their wagyu and premium steaks is very good – beautifully marbled, perfectly aged, and bursting with flavor. The staff are always friendly and happy to share their knowledge about the different cuts and best cooking methods. Kids had their best burger!
Yan Z — Google review
Our steak and pork chop arrived on our plates without the other side dishes we ordered, ie fries, salad, bread, sauce, etc. As the waitress walked away, I enquired about them. She said they were coming. Two minutes later (I timed it) she returned with most of the missing sides, apart from the pepper sauce. As she walked away, without saying anything further to us, I again enquired about the missing item. She replied “it’s coming, I only have two hands”. These were her exact words as my wife and I were very surprised by her attitude. Having spent part of my life working in a family bar and restaurant, I know she should have said something like ‘your side dishes are just coming’ on her first visit. In fact it’s poor management of resources to have waiting staff make three visits to a table like this. Why deliver only the meat first? But under no circumstances should staff show contempt to a customer when they make a genuine enquiry. The second problem was I asked for my steak to be cooked ‘medium rare’, commonly accepted as red in the very centre, then pink towards the browned seared outer crust. As my photo shows, my steak was delivered rare.
Nigel D — Google review
The service was okay, we ordered an angus filet, a burger and a denver steak. in terms of taste it was delicious but for a filet and steak there was too much fat in the meat, so it was not really tender. The meat of the burger was also not tender at all as stated. All in all it was okay but if you are a fan of state of the art steaks then this is probably not the correct place for you. If you casually just want to eat some steak then you can come here:)
Julia — Google review
We found this to be a wonderful place! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the mixed grill for two, and everything was cooked just the way we like it. The cheese really made the dish perfect. While we were waiting for our order, we were given water, which I really appreciated in this warm weather. The kids asked for a hamburger — the meat was incredibly tasty and the fries were great too. One thing I really liked was that they repeated our order to make sure everything was correct. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and very child-friendly. You can tell they know what they’re doing — very professional and attentive. Highly recommended!

We were a bit reluctant about visiting, judging previous reviews, BUT. Everything was so so perfect, have a little words to describe. Food coma. Perfectly done steaks, excellent wine, great stuff. Recommendations 200 out of 100 ❤️

Dining here was one of the best experiences of eating out during our holiday. The food was without doubt excellent quality and cooked to perfection. Alferia was an absolute pleasure to have as our server. Her recommendations and knowledge of steak helped us choose a cut that was outstanding in flavour and texture. Thank you Alferia! We also had garlic prawns, pardon peppers and the most amazing buratta! All was full of flavour and a dining pleasure. Would definitely be happy to recommend this restaurant.
Michelle W — Google review
I've been coming here every month for the last 3 years. Usually with family, sometimes with friends. You will not find a steakhouse on the island with near-consistent quality and such low prices for premium cuts of meat. 90% of the time the steaks are perfect, 10% of the time they are undercooked (blue instead of medium rare). For me this means that the meal has been ruined, since throwing the already-cut steak back on the grill doesn't fix the problem. However, in these cases if you call for the manager they will recognize the error and make it up to you. If you're looking for variety, get the mixed grill for two. It's really good, and cheap. As a local, I also recommend using this restaurant's butcher shop to get some marinated meat, pop into Mercadona downstairs to get charcoal and fire starters, and drive to one of the zonas recreativas such as those at Santiago del Teide or Las Lajas for an amazing barbecue. For kids:Kids menu. Also, there's a soft play center in the mall that's owned by the same company, and you get 15 minutes free if you order at this place.

Cocktail Lounge Bar Acanto is a classy and elegant establishment located next to Playa del Duque beach in Costa Adeje. It offers an ocean-facing terrace for enjoying cocktails with a view, as well as a two-story interior where live music performances often take place. The bar is known for its exotic cocktails, fine food, and chilled music, making it a popular hotspot for both locals and visitors.
Fantastic bar with a great range of drinks and cocktails, all reasonably priced in a relaxed atmosphere. Great free entertainment is also provided in the evening.

The waiter (app 50 year dark hair man) became agressive, when we ordered less food than he expected and demanded us to leave, 3 persons including the kid. The place was almost empty then :) Very poor service, stay away

Has a lovely view out across the ocean and the food was good. Only downside was that the waiting staff weren't that attentive and at some points came across as a little rude.
Steven C — Google review
We wanted to relax and have some cocktails, but the girl at the entrance said it wasn’t possible. She told us we could only sit if we ordered food
Юля А — Google review
Not the best, and it seems to rely on the passing tourist trade rather than put effort into the service and food. On arrival we were greeted by a rather aloof middle aged women who wasn't very pleasent and advised we'd have to wait 20 minutes despite at least half of the restaurant being empty. Once eventually seated, we ordered the chickenpaella and mixed sea food grill! The paella was okay, but the chicken was mainly bone, and at least half of the seafood grill (serves 2) was on the cold side. It was acceptable, though, but not the best and not worth the money. There was no real personality about the place and no real service. We noticed that when people were asking for a table they would accept some and turn others away as if profiling them - i.e., if they had kids it was a no but 4 adults would have been okay......probably more money in it for them. Personally we wouldn't go again, at least to the restaurant (I believe there is a cocktail lounge that I can't comment on) and I wouldn't recommend to anyone else.

Avoid this place if you want to eat. The coctails are good but the food is overpriced and tiny portions. Walk a bit more and you can find way better restaurants.

Other crowd-pleasing options include conejo al salmorejo (rabbit al salmorejo) and fillet steak with mushroom sauce.

What to say, we are real sushi lovers so we decided to go to this restaurant. We were welcomed by a nice woman who let us pick a table and the place looked really nice. Unfortunately a young waiter was serving our table. This young waiter was not interested in customers and was busy on his phone and also leaving the restaurant to the street to have a chat with the owner of a souvenir store on the other side of the street. We ordered tempura rolls with salmon and with shrimps. And the waiter recommended the shrimp crackers and we accepted. When the sushi arrived it looked very promising it was presented in a wooden boat and looked delicious. The first alarm bells went off when we did not get any chopsticks. When we asked for it he looked in a bored way and went to get it. Also the shrimp crackers were not served so we had to ask for it… We tasted the sushi but it was a kind of warm and we found the sushi was fried. We are no experts but we had never eaten this in the Netherlands like this. Anyway we are open for everything and started eating. The taste was not great it was lacking of good flavors. Normally We can easily managed to eat this amount of food but it tasted strange and the pieces were so big that we could not eat it in a decent way. Also the salmon was smelling and was not fresh. We ended up leaving several pieces on ‘the boat’. Not a great success. The almost empty restaurant and lazy waiter did not help also. We will not visit this place again.

Fine dining restaurant
Restaurante Haydée by Víctor Suárez is a chic and intimate dining spot that showcases inventive dishes with global influences. The restaurant is the brainchild of siblings Victor and Laura Suarez, who have honed their culinary skills working with renowned chefs such as Eneko Atxa, Martin Berasategui, and the Adria brothers. Located in the colonial town of La Orotava, this restaurant offers a unique fusion of Canarian cuisine with Asian and South American flavors.
One of the best experiences of my life. The food was outstanding but the service is really what made our evening special. They went above and beyond to make my husband feel special for his birthday too, which we really appreciated. Every single dish comes with a back story and they're incredibly interesting. I would visit tenerife again just for this restaurant (hopefully, they would have their 2nd star by then).

Absolutely amazing! From beginning to end a wonderful sensational experience. The staff was amazing, the quality of the food was beyond. Beautiful unique dishes with mostly ingredients from the Canary Islands. The highlight for me was the tomato dish. A 'simple' ingredient turned into a true explosion of taste. The passion for the profession and respect for the origin of both the ingredients and the family history of Victor Suárez can be seen in every dish. Beautiful. Highly recommended to go here!

Authentic. Beautiful. Honest. One of the most wonderful dining experiences we’ve ever had. I struggle to know where to start when explaining our incredible evening at Haydée… About the food: the exquisite dishes are works of art but always bursting with local flavors. While most plates are approachable, there are some surprises that made us happy to see a chef try new things. Incredibly well-balanced, perfect portion sizes and presented like little paintings. For me, the squid tartar with aged vinegar was an absolute standout. I could’ve finished a liter of the vinegar, it was so tasty. About the staff: warm, engaged, never stiff, and full of amazing stories. There wasn’t a minute in which we felt like they were “performing”. The stories added to the sensation when eating the dishes, and really provided additional insight into the island and local cuisine. We felt like we belonged, we felt completely comfortable, which really is unique in fine dining. About the wine: we chose the wine pairing and allowed the charismatic sommelier to go nuts. He brought out incredible local and regional wines that elevated the dishes, once again complemented by phenomenal stories. I could keep talking about this place for pages. They’ve created something truly special and we can’t wait to return next year.

We had a wonderful evening with great service and enjoyed the art of cooking, displaying the food and the stories behind it all. Worth the price. The flavours were very strong and sometimes a bit too much for me. My husband loved it all. I couldn’t eat the goat ( I don’t mind goat) . I loved the raw pulpo, the ice cream banana 🍌 and in general being spoiled by such fancy dishes we never cook at home. Thanks for all the phantasy, skill and time you put in to make such an experience

We had two amazing visits to Haydée on our last trip to Tenerife. First for dinner, where we had an absolutely delectable tasting menu, then a few days later for an incredible brunch serving. The food was creative and beautifully presented, without being flashy. With an emphasis on local produce, but with a fusion twist. We had a wine pairing that was equally delicious, focusing on high quality wines from the incresingly confident Tenerife winemakers. Haydée is without doubt one of the best restaurants we have been to in recent years, and comes highly recommended.

Jungle Park is a large wildlife park featuring suspension bridges, waterfalls, and animal shows. Visitors can spend the day observing big cats and monkeys, enjoying activities like a dry bobsleigh track and walking along a rope walkway in the trees. The park offers regular bird shows with birds of prey, macaws, talking parrots, and hornbills. Additionally, there's an opportunity for a sea lion encounter.
Can't recommend the zoo enough. We had an incredible day, seeing lots of beautiful animals. It was quite emotional to see the Orangutan (really wanted to free it and let it go live with its own kind.) We highly recommend going to the Bird of Prey show. It was incredible to see, and very informative. Our daughter had an amazing time going around the enclosures. The sea lion show was cancelled as they are doing up the area but it looks great. Nice and shady from the hot sun, and because it's higher up there's an amazing breeze to keep you cool. Refreshments area was limited. Toilets were immaculate. Taxis are available to get you back down which is ideal. Loved it.

All my life I've never been so close to wild animals in any zoo park visited. This one tops it all. We decided to come as a last minute decision so we arrived later in the afternoon and still had a good time before they closed. We missed most of the shows like the wild bird and seal events but still had an amazing time seeing all the animals up close. We are definitely coming back to enjoy all the shows we missed next time we are here.

On holiday and visited here for a day trip. We used the free coach service that was easy to use and had a steady drive from the coach driver. The park itself was very good and had plenty of shade on the very warm day. The animals seem to be cared for well and the sea Lion show was brilliant. Unfortunately we did not get to see the BORNEAN ORANGUTAN 🦧 as the enclosure was all closed up? Definitely worth visiting

One of the best zoos I have visited in a long time abroad. The staff keep the place so clean and the shows are well worth watching. The only thing I would say it the food is overpriced over €15 for a pizza and €21 for a burger is excessive and drinks are exactly the same but then it’s a captive audience and they get away with it. We bought our tickets from hotel and got the free bus there and back.
Angela G — Google review
This zoo is very ok. We liked the lemur walk through and the kids liked the jungle raid obstacle course. We arrived at opening time by taxi and were ready to leave well before the free bus left. We never felt rushed and visited some animals multiple times. Like all zoos and amusement parks, the food prices are high, but you can bring your own food and drinks. The animals were nice and some were very active, while others were sleeping. The park was clean. The animals looked well cared for. The bird of prey show was good. They were renovating the sea lion theatre, so no show, just an educational talk—it was interesting. The biggest complaint we had was the souvenir pictures. The kids wanted to just hold the birds, not necessarily get pictures. The photographer could be a little pushy about taking pictures. He took almost 12 pictures of our family and charged 10€ each. We only got a couple, but there should have been a deals to buy all of them. Their sister park—aqualand — had a digital deal for 40€. This would have been great.

Nice place when you arrive they lead you through to have your photos taken with a couple of birds. Then you come to a snack bar and at 12:30 the bird show begins they say it’s the best in the world that’s a big boast and although it was really good I have seen better. The sea lion show was very disappointing as they had the arena closed due to renovations and we were all crammed on a bridge barely able to see while the trainers did a routine with them in their very small enclosure. It was €16.95 for a burger and chips which was tasty. At the end you head to the exit and are met with your photos they had about 12 photos printed and you choose how many you want they cost €10 each 😮 but a few of them are the same shot taken at different angles so I just chose my favourite ones. A good day out

Good half day out with the kids. Lots of animals to see but not a huge amount. No flow to walking around meaning you miss out on parts and have to back track. Bob sleigh and jungle raid is fun. Sea lion show was impressive. Park wasn't busy at all. They absolutely rinse you for 10 euro per picture and lots of staff going around with a bird etc to get a picture. Be aware. The food and drink prices are absolutely ridiculously expensive. 31 euro for two slushies and two smoothies. 7 euro for a portion of chips. Way over priced.

Aqua Club Termal is a renowned spa located in the southern area of Tenerife, specifically in the coastal town of Adeje. It boasts an expansive area covering 1000 square meters of thermal waters at a comfortable 34 degrees Celsius and 800 square meters dedicated to various facilities such as gyms, massage rooms, and other amenities. The VIP thermal circuit offered by Aqua Club Termal spans over 2.
Couples massage package €120 great vaule. Herbal tea and complimentary bites. Massage was excellent. Facilities were all working well. Sauna steamroom cold plunge pool. Well worth a visit 40€ for just entry if not interested in a message package.
JR J — Google review
We booked this via “Get Your Guide” which was way cheaper than the prices on the website. It was a very good experience but three hours maximum is about all we could do. Sauna, Turkish Steam Room, a variety of showers, plunge pool, hot jacuzzi’s, various bubble/jet areas and water showers for massaging the body and a small “lazy river” type thing. Also a warm salt water pool. Need to take your own towel (into the spa area as have to use it in the sauna) if you don’t book direct. Clean facilities, well looked after. Entry and lockers operated by a wristband you are given on arrival. Beds/chairs around the edge of the pool to relax and a relaxation room. We didn’t use the gym and wasn’t sure we could if we wanted to. Little cafe in the entrance for when you come out thirsty and hungry! I would recommend a visit if you fancy something relaxing to do.
Lorna R — Google review
All of the individual parts of the spa were lovely. The jacuzzi, the jets and the salt pool were particular highlights. Advertised well as individual elements. The whole spa is in need of a bit of a revamp - the walls are just bare breeze blocks so give it a leisure centre vibe rather than a luxury spa (as it markets itself). Same with the changing rooms. A few things made this not the perfect relaxing visit we hoped for but all could be improved in the future. We got the VIP day for two for €100 between us - the difference being we got a Balinese bed and some food. The bed was just the same as the others in the corner of the relaxing areas with a canopy overhead - it was reserved for us which was nice but nothing amazing here. The food was a joke really for the price - 10 potatoes between us and as we weren’t drinking opted for juice and it was a child’s carton of synthetic juice. Also the website says children 10am-12pm only but children were in the pool the whole time we were there 12pm - 2:30pm. There was also a man in his underwear rather than swim shorts which was obviously really unpleasant.

I highly recommend this spa and would definitely be a member if I lived in Tenerife. My wife and I were visiting and we enjoyed our experience there so much that we returned a few days later despite only visiting Tenerife for just under a week! The spa is very well maintained and boasts an excellent mix of treatments, facilities and services to cater to your every need. All the staff that we interacted with were extremely pleasant and kind - the attention to customer service and experience was definitely one of the highlights. Besides the spa package I also opted for a massage, specifically the intense massage. Without a doubt that was one of the best massages I've ever had. I would highly recommend that you ask for Vera if she is available - she worked wonders on my back! On our first visit I had a 30 minute massage which I enjoyed so much that on our second visit I chose to have an hour long massage. That should tell you what you need to know about what a great experience it was! All in all, we left the spa extremely relaxed and satisfied with our experience there along with all the lovely people that attended to us so well. Needless to say, we'll be back at Aqua whenever we visit Tenerife next!

I always use the spa's in 5 star hotels and I had the best massage of my life here! All the staff were so nice ESPECIALLY Josue at reception. He was so kind and informative. There was nothing he could not do for us. He definitely made the experience even better, he looked after us so well. I would recommend this spa to everyone 10/10

Fantastic Spa, would definitely recommend 👌 Visited here for a girlie day celebrating my birthday and it was awesome! Staff were super friendly & couldn't have been more helpful. Facilities were lovely and 2 hours was just the right amount of time. Also visited the hair salon while there and even that was 5*****. Will definitely visit again on my next holiday to Tenerife!

I've come here many times over the years. It's impressive how this places improves over time instead of the usual aging of spas. It's clean, well organized, maintained and attended by very professional and attentive staff. The variety of experiences and pools makes it worth every penny. It also has s great cafeteria with fair prices and good quality snacks and coffee. I'll for sure keep coming back.
Ricardo V — Google review
Although the aqua gym and spa facilities are absolutely amazing and I genuinely loved the experience, I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with how they handled my subscription. I paid €95 for a 1-month Silver pass. After 24 days, I informed the staff that I would be travelling and kindly asked to pause the remaining 6 days. At first, they said it wasn't possible due to policy—but then confirmed they would make an exception. I even handed over my wristband (pulsera) to ensure it wouldn’t be misused during my absence. When I returned, they claimed that the staff had recorded in the system that I knew I couldn’t resume the remaining days—which is completely false. They used my good-faith gesture of returning the wristband as a way to justify not honouring what was promised. This was MISLEADING and DISHONEST. The facilities are fantastic, but trust matters—and this experience broke that trust. I will only consider coming back if the management takes responsibility and resolves this. If not, I'm done.

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming fishing village of La Caleta, CHAR Fuego y Brasas is a delightful mid-priced steakhouse that offers an unforgettable dining experience. This restaurant specializes in expertly grilled meats and also features a selection of mouthwatering fish dishes, all served in a relaxed atmosphere that pays homage to the area's rich heritage. Guests rave about the incredible flavors found in their prawn starters and croquettes, while the steaks are described as meltingly tender and beautifully presented.
Had an amazing experience here while on holiday celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. The staff were very attentive but not overwhelming. The 4 of us shared a couple of the starters and each had steak (ribeye and fillet) for mains. The vegetable sides and peppercorn sauce were amazing. I had already heard about the 'matchstick' fries - extremely thin fries (see photos), which were good but I personally preferred the Canarian potatoes. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the ribeye already sliced before serving. A very enjoyable evening and worth every penny.
Ellie T — Google review
We came to Char based on the overwhelming positive reviews. I really wanted to love this place but I just can’t rate it higher based on my experience. The steak here was actually really good in terms of flavour, but the rest of the food it felt like they were missing something or it just didn’t feel like there was much value for money. The menu isn’t super clear on what size steak you’re getting or if it should be shared and honestly I’d avoid the larger steaks. We got the 1.2kg ribeye between three of us which came to €120 — so €40 each — and honestly it just didn’t feel worth it. The ribeye was extremely fatty, way more than I’ve had anywhere else, and you’re also paying for the big bone in it. It just didn’t feel like great value, especially when you could get a 250g fillet for €33. With that said however, the steaks flavour was really good. Cocktails were good but nothing mind-blowing, and at €14 or €15 each you kind of expect something a bit more special. Service was fine overall, staff were friendly, and helpful but it started off pretty slow and we were left waiting a bit. We also had a few side dishes and most were alright. The tomato with wagyu definitely isn’t worth it. It lacked flavour and you only get three slices. The thin fries are super thin, basically crisps, so I’d definitely recommend going for the chunky ones instead. All the sauce options though were actually really nice and full of flavour. The ambience was lovely. Really nice atmosphere. But I just left feeling quite unsatisfied with the meal. It has amazing potential and some interesting dishes, but it just didn’t come together for me or feel worth the price.

An absolutely outstanding dining experience. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Special thanks to Jonathan and Emily, who guided us through the menu with kindness and professionalism. They made us feel genuinely welcome. The entire staff was incredibly attentive and took time to explain everything in detail. If you’re looking for a high-end place that delivers on both taste and service – this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing place! I tried several dishes, including the Kobe beef, tartare, truffle mushrooms, and a few others — everything was absolutely delicious. The service was really attentive and spot on. Not the cheapest place, but definitely an experience worth having!

First time we visited Char in their new location in Baobab Suites. Pretty and spacious interior. Both the food and the wine menu are impressive. Every single dish that comes out of the kitchen is excellent. 🥩 The crew is friendly, professional and beautiful. 😉 Small suggestion: ask for enough time between the courses, our main dish came really quickly. But no worries: we'll be back! 🥰

We visited you twice during our vacation because it was fantastic. Everything we ate was excellent. We had a great spot so we could watch our food being prepared. The somolier was able to recommend the perfect wine for us. Highly recommended!

Wow! Amazing food and the steaks were out of this world! So good we went back again before the end of our trip! The service was very attentive and friendly and we felt very welcomed. I couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Richard H — Google review
We went to Char last week and it was a good experience. Not mind blowing but just good. The style of the restaurant is very modern. It was relaxed to sit there. The food was good. We had the dry aged sirloin which is approx. 500 grams incl. Bone. The steak was tender, juicy and flavourful. However for a dry aged steak, I did not taste the signature dry age flavour unfortunately. Besides that the steak was almost perfect. The waiters are friendly and I have no complains here. For tenerife standards is Char on the more expensive side. Which I get by the look of the restaurants and the service the waiters provide. However considering the quality of the dishes I’d personally value it a tiny bit lower. It was not bad at all, it was very good. It was ALMOST great. And that is why I over value Char by a tiny bit.

Restaurant
It&Aly is a cozy Italian restaurant located in San Eugenio Alto, with a small seating capacity and a family-owned vibe. The menu is not extensive, but the food is described as fantastic by frequent visitors. The place offers authentic Italian comfort food such as pizza, pasta, and delightful desserts like tiramisu. The atmosphere is homelike and welcoming, with friendly owners who contribute to the overall experience.
Been here twice since we have been in Tenerife as it’s by our villa and both times it did not disappoint! I went off the menu as it’s a pasta dish I really enjoy and just asked if they could do it and they did “ Spaghetti aglio e olio” was delicious! We all really enjoyed what we ordered! Thank you 🌻
Holly J — Google review
I had a mixed experience at this Italian restaurant. The pizza was very good, and I appreciated the authentic taste, but I didn’t like the pasta at all. The Parmesan cheese used seemed to be of lower quality, which affected the overall flavor of the dish. I hope they improve the quality of the ingredients in the future to offer a complete experience.
Mihaela C — Google review
The food is amazing here, authentic and home made it was so delicious! We ordered the focaccia garlic bread to start, the lasagne and the bolognaise. We ordered a tiramisu to share and had to get another as it was so good! A hidden gem
Hannah R — Google review
Disappointing experience overall. I was really looking forward to enjoying a proper Italian pizza, but unfortunately the food was bland and lacked authenticity. For a restaurant claiming Italian roots, I expected much more. The waitress wasn’t very friendly, and when we asked a few simple questions about the menu, she couldn’t explain anything clearly and responded with noticeable arrogance. It made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. As a non-smoker, I was especially disappointed that people were smoking just a few steps away from our table. The smell completely ruined the atmosphere, and I left feeling like I’d spent the evening in a smoking lounge. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are far better options nearby with better food, service, and respect for guests.

Fantastic pizzas! I have always eaten in Nuevo Forno nearby but as it was closed went here. The heart-shaped pizza (it was valentine´s day) was absolutely delicious. I never take dessert but as I was so impressed by the pizza, tried the tiramisu. Beautiful! And prices are good too.

Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque is a luxurious shopping center located in the south of Tenerife, Canary Islands. Its innovative and avant-garde architecture offers a unique shopping experience. The circular complex features clothing and accessory outlets, as well as cafes and restaurants just steps away from the beach. With leading luxury brands like Hackett, Boss, and Desigual, it's a premier destination for designer goods.

As someone who has had the privilege of maintaining an office in Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque, I am delighted to share my five-star experience with this exceptional shopping center. From the outset, Plaza del Duque impresses with its serene ambiance, distinguished by clean, well-maintained stores that exude an air of sophistication. The shopping center, though often tranquil, is a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort, making it an ideal place for both work and leisure. What truly sets Plaza del Duque apart is its remarkable staff, which includes everyone from the security team to the garage staff, and the cleaning crew. They're not just friendly; they create a warm atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome. Their caring approach is evident in the way they interact with each visitor, contributing to a positive experience for all. Additionally, the management team deserves praise for their efforts to keep the center lively. They consistently organize special events, appearances, and festive decorations, even during quieter periods, adding a special touch to the shopping center's appeal. Admittedly, the layout of Plaza del Duque can be a tad confusing for newcomers, with some visitors often needing guidance to find their way. However, for regulars like myself, this intricate design is part of its charm. It's like navigating a small, enchanting circle filled with exquisite stores and highly professional staff, where shoppers can relish in personal attention and an upscale shopping experience. As for myself, spending nearly every day here, I couldn't envision a better place to work. The congenial community, top-quality stores, and the central point on the ground floor – a perfect spot for a leisurely lunch or coffee – all contribute to making Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque not just a shopping center, but a lifestyle hub where quality, comfort, and camaraderie coalesce. To anyone who values a refined shopping and working environment, I wholeheartedly recommend Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque. It's more than just a shopping center; it's a vibrant community and a delightful part of my daily life.

great place to shop before flying home...well stocked upscale clothing stores...if you fancy buying niche perfumes from your travels then just Niche Corner located at the very bottom of this mall...well versed in their really tastefully sophisticated scents from around the world ... the owner is very nice and knows what to match to each customer ... I really enjoyed talking with him about the world of fragrances ... I left satisfied ... also an interesting cigar shop ... also the owner knows what sells despite his young age ... these are two really interesting places in this Mall ... I recommend

We had a lovely coffee and ice cream here at this luxurious shopping centre which surprisingly was not expensive. It was a long walk to get here but well worth the effort as some of my favourite brands are here. There are very few people here and most of the shops were empty but it was a nice way to spend an hour or so. There are plenty of rides for younger children to keep them entertained.

Flea market
Fañabe Market, also known as Costa Adeje Market, is a popular outdoor shopping center centrally located near many hotels. Visitors can find a variety of products such as bags, handbags, belts, t-shirts, beachwear, footwear, and jewelry. The market offers the opportunity to barter for the best prices and even features copies of well-known brands. Additionally, there are options for grabbing a snack or coffee while taking a break from shopping.
Amazing day. Go early as gets very busy and then becomes a little uncomfortable with all the people
Vera W — Google review
Really busy and small stalls so keep your belongings to hand and make sure you dont lose who you are with. Only on, on a Thursday and Saturday but the bus links are good and reliable. Good bargains to be had but barter.
Fiona P — Google review
It's really hot and sticky in the middle and very packed. If you don't like crowds stay away. Some different items to browse and you can have barter with the stall holders on price.
Gillian I — Google review
I visited the market on a Thursday after reading a few reviews and seeing it featured on TikTok, so I had a rough idea of what to expect. The market is set up in a fairly large car park, but the layout felt quite cramped. The stalls were placed very close together, which made it feel congested and difficult to browse comfortably. A bit more spacing between stalls — or even a simple one-way system — might really help with the overall flow of foot traffic. As for the market itself, I was hoping to find a mix of local produce, handmade items, and some classic market finds like fashion dupes and toys. Unfortunately, what I found was around 600 meters of nearly identical stalls — rows upon rows of the same bags, novelty toys, knockoff fashion pieces, and cheap fans that felt more like they were straight off Temu than unique market finds. I was particularly looking for keepsakes or something meaningful to take home for family, but nothing really stood out as being locally made or having any clear connection to Tenerife. It felt more like a travelling market than one rooted in local culture. I also expected to see some fresh produce or local food offerings, but the only refreshment available was a single stall at the end selling a few cans of fizzy drink and bottled water. Overall, it wasn’t quite what I’d hoped for in a Spanish market experience — not necessarily a bad outing, but definitely not what I’d call a must-see if you're looking for authentic or local goods.
Paige D — Google review
Some good deals but the majority is the usual stuff you can buy at the hundreds of beach front souvenir shops. Very busy, I would recommend arriving at 9am to avoid ques. Open 9am - 2pm Sunday and Thursday
Scott R — Google review
Good little market. Very busy with lots of haggling going on! Quite a few stalls selling the same items so getting the price down was fairly easy. If you're in Costa Adeje i'd definitely take a look, not really worth travelling across the island for.
Russell S — Google review
Absolutely crazy busy, and I think I was there by 11am. A lot of the stalls selling the same things and some of the same stuff . I think when you are there it’s best to properly look and take ur time because there are nice unique things, hard to do in crammed spaces however. One stall in particular id go back to was the polymer clay art. They sold little bits such as jewellery and key rings that himself and his wife made. They were so colourful and the man was very kind to speak to. He sold mystery boxes which I bought and got these cute little hibiscus flower earrings. It was nice to see a small Tennerife mini business with a kind business owner. I would recommend bringing some water to this market because the heat is very overwhelming.

Fañabé Beach is a popular and tourist-friendly destination located on Tenerife's south coast. It boasts palm trees, calm waters, and easy access to beach bars, shops, and dining options. Stretching over 500 meters with prestigious blue flag status for water quality and cleanliness, this golden sand beach stands out for its infrastructure and amenities. It is well-loved by both locals and tourists alike due to the good state of its waters and the lively atmosphere in the terrace areas.
Very nice beach with a lighter colour sand than others nearby. The area is very nice to get lunch and dinner. I would definitely return to this area on another visit in the future. It seems to be less party orientated and more suited to couples and families.

Such a beautiful town with small welcoming Sea Food Restaurants. It is very quiet here, only 2 hotels in town, not as busy as Adeje. Perfect to relax

Lovely little all from Sabila hotel to La Caleta. Quite little place but does have some nice cafes. Didn’t spend all that much time there. Stopped for a coffee then meandered back to the main Adeje bit. Worth a walk and has a nice big rock thing in the middle you can walk up which gives fabulous views
Francesca P — Google review
It’s the beautiful bay that we went to see. . The town itself is quite small. No beach as such but lots of big rocks that groups or singletons can sit/lie on. A lot of them have ladders into the sea. More an adult place to go to than a place for children so the atmosphere is chilled relaxed. Just a nice place to wander around, sit in the shade of a bar and have a cool beer. Easy to get to by bus - very cheap too. Most restaurants have a seafood bias but do other food too.

Lovely little coastal village. Definitely on the up, since our last visit 5 years ago. Great place to have a coffee and watch surfing, if the waves are good.
Mark B — Google review
La Caleta is a lovely place to visit if you want to experience old Tenerife. It was a fishing village and you can still get a feel if that now as you explore the narrow streets. It's nearly all focused along the front and there are a couple of up and down streets taking you away and back into the promenade. There isn't a beach here but lots of steps going into the sea from the rocks, at the far end there is a stony area where you can sunbathe. It is home to some really lovely eateries, a real mix of traditional and high end. You will find traditional tapas, fresh fish restaurants, cafes, Italian, steak etc .... So many. It isn't a tourist trap but has changed a lot in recent years with the building of the hotel which has changed the landscape.

Recently spent 10 amazing days in La Caleta. This beautiful coastal village located at the West of the island sports some amazing seafront restaurants , with the evening sunset streaming in as you eat. We stayed at the beautiful Thai inspired Asia Gardens which itself has some great eateries and the fantastic "STARFISH" where we lunched every day. Will be back.

Playa Del Puertito De Adeje is a hidden gem that beautifully marries golden sands with intriguing rock pools teeming with vibrant marine life. This crescent-shaped beach exudes a charming local vibe, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration. From July to September, you might even catch sight of Loggerhead Turtles! The soft sand invites you to unwind while the gentle waves create perfect conditions for swimming and snorkeling.
We came here to watch the sunset, but the waves were small, so you could swim. The sand was amazing and soft, there was a trail you could hike to another beach that offers beautiful views. The bar on the beach also has nice beverages. There isn't much place to park here, so you might need to drive around for a spot.

Stopped by Playa del Puertito and somehow forgot to leave — again! Cute little bay, clear water, chill vibe. Perfect spot to escape the crowds and pretend you live here forever. Next time I’m bringing snacks and staying until sunset — highly recommend!

Gorgeous here. Small bar on the corner of the beautiful beach is ideal. Great place to read a book for hours and relax. There is a small car park by the beach that costs 2 euros for as long as you want.
Marcus B — Google review
What a stunning little bay. I looked up "best places to snorkel in Tenerife" and up popped El Puertito. And it didn't disappoint! Beautiful clear water, an abundance of species to watch. Car park was just €2 for as long as you wanted. There was a little bar/ restaurant. And it was so chilled. Cannot wait to go back!
Graham S — Google review
Great, little, not crowded beach (visited in mid November). Water is clean and beautiful. You can swim and snorkel as if it was a pool. It is really quiet and you can visit some nice cliffs to watch the ocean and the sunset. (Little warning: you cannot lie on the sand during high tide)
Felipe V — Google review
Great beach, but hard to enjoy with firecrackers landing next to you and a construction site behind you. The idea of protesting big projects is understandable, but throwing firecrackers at people just ruins the cause – and the beach day.
Patricia R — Google review
Yes, not touristic beach at all. Worth a visit and a good walk around the clifs. Indeed some friendly folks, tourists not only hippies reside on these clifs, choosing open air or tent instead of a hotel room. Wonderful views.

Sushi restaurant
Perched on the coast of South Tenerife, Restaurant 88 offers a trendy dining experience with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Nestled in the charming fishing village of La Caleta, this sleek restaurant serves up a delectable fusion of traditional Japanese and Chinese dishes alongside creative pan-Asian cuisine. From sushi and sashimi to crispy spring rolls and fillet steak with cracked black pepper, their menu showcases a diverse range of flavors.
Loved it! Mega tasty and fresh with big portions. The waiter suggested wine for us and it was excellent. Such a nice area and amazing views from the restaurant. We came here for my birthday today. Thank you

Had a great lunch at Restaurant 88! The food was delicious and full of flavor, and the atmosphere was really nice and welcoming. The staff were very attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty meal and great service!

We had the most amazing time at this beautiful sushi and pan Asian restaurant when visiting Tenerife. The service and hospitality was perfect from start to finish. The sushi in particular was a real highlight. I couldn’t believe how fresh it was and how much effort went into ensuring we had the best dinner. This is my favourite restaurant in the area and I can’t wait to return.

We visit Tenerife 2 or 3 times per year and restaurant 88 is always on our must visit list , great food , great service , great views , best Singapore vermicelli , crispy duck is perfect , dim sum cooked so well , on this visit I have to say the service was even better , even say the best service we have received in any restaurant , Sonya looked after us , she is a credit to the restaurant , a great experience , one tip for anyone reading if lunchtime ask if they have their lunch offer , especially bottomless lunch , great value
Shirls S — Google review
Today we were out walking and decided to dine in, as the restaurant had a lot of good reviews and was the only one open until midnight. The staff were super friendly and quickly found a table for us, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, we were seated at a table near the kitchen, where the smell was quite strong. The table and chairs felt more like a fast-food place than a proper restaurant. The food was severely overpriced and definitely not worth the money. Our seafood noodles had just a few small pieces of seafood, with the rest of the plate overloaded with noodles. We love both noodles and seafood—but sadly, we won’t be coming back here to eat them again.

Great find! Great mix of Chinese/Japanese food. Wine was very well recommended and the view of the ocean! 10/10 🥡🥢
Caelainn R — Google review
Reservations are recommended as we were lucky to get a table without a reservation arriving about 7.15pm on a Friday and then we had to wait for only10 minutes. We had a Dorado Szechuan and a Langostinos Con Jeng both of which were superb being full of flavour. We were in and out within 30 minutes because of the efficient service, our wish for only one course and to allow others to enter, not because we were hurried in any way by the staff as we weren't. Highly recommend for reasonable prices, food that is full of flavour, excellent service and a nice clean restaurant.
Michael F — Google review
Visited 88 twice on our recent visit as it had been highly recommended. Fantastic location overlooking the ocean, take sunglasses as the open frontage and evening sunsets over the Atlantic are amazing, streaming right in to the back of the restaurant. Partner is sushi mad, she says was excellent. Both times I plumped for short ribs then shredded crispy chicken in a sweet chilli sauce. Great experience. Worth a visit to CALETA for this restaurant alone.

ROSSO SUL MARE Restaurant & Wine Bar is a hidden gem located in Tenerife, offering a dreamy dining experience. The biophilic interior with greenery and wall displays creates a beautiful ambiance, while the terrace provides stunning ocean views. Visitors have praised the quality drinks and delectable food, as well as the warm and humorous service. Whether it's for a romantic evening or a special celebration, this restaurant promises an unforgettable experience with generous portions at good value.
A Perfect Lunch with an Ocean View! Had a fantastic lunch at ROSSO SUL MARE Restaurant & Wine Bar in Tenerife, and it was absolutely worth it! The pumpkin soup was rich and creamy, and the salad was fresh and full of flavor – you can really taste the quality ingredients and care in the preparation. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, made even better by the friendly and upbeat staff who create a great vibe. And the view? Simply breathtaking! Sitting by the ocean, enjoying good food and a refreshing drink, is an experience in itself. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and stunning views. Can’t wait to come back!

We visited last night, excited for a special evening and good food by the sea. We ordered a fantastic bottle of wine to pair with our meal, but sadly the service completely let the experience down. While we were trying to order, the waiter was laughing with his colleagues instead of focusing on us — very unprofessional and upsetting. Throughout the evening, the service felt careless and dismissive: dirty plates were left on the table, nobody offered to pour our wine, and the waiters spent more time joking with each other than serving guests. Honestly, the service here made McDonald’s staff look like fine dining professionals. The only bright spots were the lovely host at the door — she was welcoming and kind — and the food itself, which was excellent thanks to the chef. It’s a real shame, 2 star as the rude and childish waiting staff… The kitchen is clearly talented, and the view over the sea is beautiful. Had we known how poor the service would be, we would have happily spent our €200 at another local restaurant that values its customers. Unfortunately, until they seriously improve the waiting staff, I can’t recommend Rosso Sul Mare.

Another gem of a restaurant in the beautiful village La Coleta, West of the island. Ate here twice, had the most tender lamb shoulder with the ubiquitous Canarian dry baked potatoes both times. All the Italian classics, great wine list and attentive service. As with "88" next door, take sunglasses as the beautiful sunset streams into the open terrace. Great experience.
Duncan P — Google review
No reservation and we were seated with a sea view. Beautiful food and drink. The wine we ordered wasn’t available but we were recommended a similar one for same price. Our kids shared a pizza from the main menu and we had pasta dishes. We all shared the 4 chocolate dessert! Beautiful place!

I was really looking forward to having dinner at Rosso. The view did not disappoint although couldn’t really see much of a sunset due to calima. Service was really good, everyone was on the ball, attentive, can’t fault the staff. What let it down for us is the food! Overpriced, honestly nothing special, at times tasteless. Worst tiramisu I’ve ever had. We were 2 people, ordered a main and dessert. Granted, we have not tried everything on the menu but we left feeling unsatisfied and that we overpaid massively for what we had. We ate out every day during our week's stay and this was the only disappointing food we had. This place is not worth the hype, many better restaurants around.
Marzena L — Google review
This could have been a lovely evening. Saturday night booking. Beautiful view of the sea (though not much sunset visible through the Sahara dust). Very busy staff working their socks off and getting everyone served, though without much time for individual clients. Food more than adequate. However, there was a serious sour point. The bill arrived with an extra 7% added for IVA (Spanish VAT). This is an illegal practice in the EU and in Spain which requires all taxes and service charges to be included on the menu prices. I pointed this out to the manager. He didn’t attempt to argue the point, but appealed to my better nature, claiming that if I didn’t pay, it would be taken from his pay by the owners - also illegal, incidentally. I had put up with enough aggro at this point, so paid the bill under protest, omitting any tip. I won’t be going back.

Rosso sul mare Tenerife is an incredible Italian restaurant with a stunning view of the sea. The staff was exceptional, providing top-notch service throughout our visit. And the food – simply outstanding. We started with the seafood platter, which was a delightful mix of hot and cold marine delicacies, all of very high quality and freshness. Following that, we had the burrata, which was delicious but could have been a bit creamier; perhaps leaving it at room temperature a bit longer would help. Finally, we ended with the crab pasta, which was just delicious. This place has everything you could ask for in a dining experience. Highly recommended!

Our spontaneous choice of Rosso sul Mare turned out to be a hidden gem on our last night in Tenerife. The food was delectable, the service exuded warmth and humor, and the seaside views, even at night, were breathtaking. This restaurant transformed our final evening into a dream, offering good value with generous portions for the price. A delightful find for an unforgettable dining experience. Just thank you to the whole service for their brilliant service and product!

Pizza restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant area of Costa Adeje, Restaurante Pizzería San Marco is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Known for its exceptional pizzas crafted with San Marzano tomatoes and cooked to perfection in a spinning stone oven, this restaurant also offers mouthwatering fillet steak and delectable moules mariniere that rival local seafood spots. Guests rave about the friendly service and lively atmosphere, often enhanced by live music performances upstairs.
Fantastic restaurant, lovely food and super friendly staff. Went for dinner with my wife and young child, the waitress was so good with my little one, who would have eaten there every day!

Visited a few years ago and I was really impressed with how friendly the staff were and the food quality, came the other day for lunch and it was slightly less impressive. I ordered pizza, chips and salad and it was tasty but the staff were less friendly. It was very busy and so maybe the staff were a little stressed and this could be why the service was quite slow. Lots of people were enjoying pizzas, salads, sandwiches and fish and it all looked really good and fresh. The music was quite loud so was hard to hear people talking. There is indoor and outdoor seating including outdoor seating in the sun or shade.

We ate here for dinner last night and tbh the food wasn’t all bad. The wood fired pizza could be better, I had the lobster linguine and at 19.50 wasn’t bad but the lobster was cold. The linguine and prawn sauce was delicious. Our waitress seemed a little stressed but eventually cheered up. Be careful of the €1.50 charge for a sachet of ketchup though. Service was quick and good didn’t take long to come out either. Good 3-4 stars but there’s potential

Stopped by here for a quick lunch after a long day hiking, and the pizza absolutely hit the spot. We shared a pizza with an excellent Neapolitan-style crust topped with tomato, onions, garlic, pepperoni, ham, and mushrooms (No. 82 on the menu) and it was very well prepared and tasty. The only downsides were that it was rather strangely cut with some huge pieces and some tiny pieces, and also needed slightly underseasoned - but this was nothing that the salt and pepper on the table, the chili oil and our sharp knives couldn't fix! All in all, no major complaints with the one item on the menu that we tried, so hopefully their other items are just as good! Certainly recommended
Anu N — Google review
We had a great evening here as a family. The staff were very welcoming, and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. The food was very tasty, but perhaps not as well cooked as other places. I chose lobster linguine, and while the portion size was generous the lobster was slightly over cooked and on the small side. The pizza is delicious, and the vodka salmon was nice but repeated on us. Overall I think this odd definitely worth a visit, but stick to the pizzas.
Keith L — Google review
Reasonably priced food, pizza was good waiting staff could look as if they enjoy serving customers. Just remember if you want ketchup for your fries they will charge you €1.50 for a small plastic sash, but they don’t tell you, it’s added to the bill. Come on guy’s really. 🙀
John R — Google review
Really good food. I had the seafood spaghetti which was delicious. Very slightly overcooked imo but that would be picky and others may not agree. Service was prompt, friendly and polite. The view sadly is a billboard for the Adeje market so lightly underwhelming on that front. Music panders to downmarket uk tastes. Ie duff hits from 10-20 years ago but can’t be helped. But overall a lovely evening out with excellent reasonably priced Italian dishes. Highly recommended to newcomers who want to play it safe.

Argentinian restaurant
Gourmetland La Brasserie is a charming dining spot located in the picturesque Playa de Fanabe, where you can soak in stunning sea views while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options like their paella, which adds to the culinary experience. While some diners have found the food to be average, the serene vibe and beautiful surroundings make it an appealing choice for those who prioritize ambiance alongside their meal.
Burger was a bit undercooked for my wife but it was rectified. My fajitas were fine but too much onions for me. It was tasty enough without being too exotic.
Donovan D — Google review
We visited this restaurant last year and were happy with the food. So, we decided to return, but unfortunately, our experience this time was quite disappointing. The fillet steak was cooked perfectly, which was a positive aspect. However, the fish dish was a major letdown. It was served with an old, used lemon, and the fish was filled with bones, making it almost impossible to eat. We also ordered a rib steak, but it had an unpleasant smell and was so tough that it couldn’t even be chewed. On the positive side, we did get another steak that was cooked properly and tasted good. The waitresses were friendly and accommodating, and they were happy to make the necessary changes to our order. However, despite the restaurant being empty, the service was slow. The waitresses were simply walking around without picking up the dirty dishes, which was frustrating. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was not the best.
Nicol S — Google review
For meat, this was some of the worst I have eaten while on holiday here. Some of the T-Bone was medium rare as ordered, while the fillet was overcooked and some of it was burnt. The ribs had loads of small shards of bone in it. The beef fajitas were so dry the kids didn’t even eat the beef. Staff couldn’t care when it was raised with them and walked around with such long faces The only thing that was good was the burger.
My L — Google review
Wow! I can not believe how terrible our experience was. I get it that things can go wrong sometimes, but it seems that when you arrive at this place early, they use the leftover chicken from the day before. The buffalo chicken wings were lukewarm and overly dry. Definitely not fresh. The bbq sauce was okay. We ordered the fajitas. When they arrived, my partner started eating them, and she crunched on a piece of chicken. Over half of the chicken was dry to the point it behaved a lot like dry toast. Hard and brittle, no juice at all. I asked to speak to the manager. He instantly became defensive, telling me that this is how they serve fajitas in this country. Unfortunately for him, he didn't realise that I'm not an idiot and he hoped I would take it. He then accused my partner of eating over half of the dish. This was a compete lie, and it escalated the situation as he was now accusing us of trying to get a free meal. As you can see in the picture, this is not how chicken should be served. Attached is a picture of one of the pieces of chicken I was able to take before he hurried the dish away . Also attached is their advert outside showing how it SHOULD be served. Quite different to how he tried to say it is always served so dry. The waitress we had was really nice. She was polite and attentive. It's just such a shame that their manager (who I suspect is the owner given how defensive he became) is an absolute letdown for this place. The piña colada was average. Overall. The quality of the food was well below standard. The only saving grace was the black snapper fish. They didn't debone it, but it was very fresh and cooked very well. I definitely do not recommend this place. There are plenty of other great restaurants surrounding this, ones that value their customers and deliver a great service.
J P — Google review
Unfortunately, this place was not good. It looked promising, we were group of 11 and they could not appear to cope. Half the drinks order took 25 mins to come out and when we asked we were told that there are 2 different bars, when I finally got up to ask, the lady got right in my face, then the wrong drinks turned up! Amongst other food, we ordered 5 fillet steaks which were over cooked, 2 were sent back and then returned undercooked. The 3 that weren’t sent back were half eaten due to hunger. We did ask about a small discount only to be told if the food is eaten it must be paid in full. The manager said the owner would not allow any kind of discount. It turns out that a few of the other tables around weren’t happy with the food or the service. We had dinner the night before at the restaurant next door, the food and the service was great!
Calibra T — Google review
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my meal at Gourmetland La Brasserie was really disappointing, I just wanted a good meal to end my holiday. I ordered one of their specialty steaks, asked for it medium rare. It first arrived nearly raw, blue at best. I asked for it to be cooked to what I originally requested. Ten minutes later, it came back well-done and borderline burnt, completely ruining it. While the cocktails were good and the rest of my group enjoyed their meals, mine was inedible by any reasonable standard. To make it worse, the head waitress had an attitude and refused to acknowledge how bad the meal was because I had eaten the potatoes, which were not the fries i asked for. A steakhouse should be able to cook a steak correctly, especially one of their signature dishes. Given the price and that theyre a steak house, honestly can't recommend.
Blackstarr911 — Google review
Food was very good indeed, service was a bit laim, they only removed my dirty glasses when i was on my third drink, and between the starter and main course we had to wait 30 minutes, but we where on holiday and had no rush to do anything, it has a nice view of the beach so it was okay to wait.
P.J. J — Google review
By far the worst experience since being here. Waited over 90mins for food and when it did arrive it was not only raw but completely frozen inside. Hardly any customers there and the few that were there were waiting or sending food back. Told if we wasn’t happy to just leave, absolutely shocking response. Staff are young and just don’t care, they got aggressive and even held onto our babies pushchair demanding the money for the soft drinks we had. We paid for the drinks and left. I wish I had seen the reviews prior to going we’d never of even considered eating here if we had. How this place is even open is beyond belief. I will be taking this further, what we experienced was absolutely disgusting and they need closing down.
