Playa del Duque is a bustling beach area perfect for swimming and sunbathing, offering a resort-like atmosphere with its abundance of high-end accommodations. The beach features striped beach huts, loungers, and parasols against a backdrop of rugged cliffs, turquoise waters, and palm trees.
The beach is nice but sometimes are big waves, not suitable for families with small children, the sand is nice,2 sunbeds and an umbrella are 19.5E or you can take only 1 sunbed(6E),
Alin S — Google review
Very nice and clean beach with big waves and scenic views. There is a beautiful promenade to walk, with good restaurants and small local shops! Convenient parking underground. Small shopping mall. Beach has nice sand. Depending on weather waves can be very big. Good location for photoshoot
Maria L — Google review
We’ve been all around Tenerife and this is definitely our favourite beach. Plenty of space and seating available, 2 sun beds under the umbrella for €19,95 (and a 3rd for 6€ more). It gets relatively busy so good to get there earlier (10am) if you want a seat, if not there is plenty of space to set up on the sand. The beach is clean and the water is great, if you want to buy something from the beach sellers it’s good to have some cash.
Chris C — Google review
A beautiful beach, somewhat commercial, and often crowded with tourists. However, the beach itself has light sand and is clean. There's a shower at the light beach connecting to the dark beach, and free toilets are also available near the bar. The ocean was warm here, so we recommend it!
Maja W — Google review
Free beach with turquoise water. Yellow sand, black sand - everything that you would desire. It is possible to rent an umbrella for a fee or buy one on the spot. Great experience.
Nataliia K — Google review
One of my favorite beaches, golden sand, good entrance to the water, no big wave, there is a shower. If you dive, you can find all kinds of different fish at breakwaters!
Alex A — Google review
The beach was quite clean and spacious (October 2025). The sand is black and volcanic. There is a beautiful promenade above where you can walk, with restaurants and small shops. There were showers and toilets, but not everywhere.

Absolutely loved Playa del Duque! Super clean, turquoise water, and parking just a few steps away. Great place to relax and enjoy the day.

Playa de la Pinta is a small, family-friendly beach located in Costa Adeje, offering a lively atmosphere with access to shopping and dining options. The beach is enclosed, providing safety for children and calm waters for swimming. It features soft grayish-colored sand and crystal clear waters with little wave action. Visitors can enjoy various services such as sun lounger rentals, umbrella rentals, sporting activities, boat tours, and local shops for souvenirs.
Beautiful beach with clear water and plenty of sun — though you’ll be sharing it with a crowd and a small army of people selling things. Sunbeds come at a price (naturally), but the sunshine was free and didn’t disappoint. Busy, lively, and buzzing with energy!
Fionn O — Google review
Lovely small sandy beach with sunbeds and parasols available to rent at €6 each. There were lots of bars around the beach and live music, which was excellent. Plenty of street sellers who can be persistent and annoying, but if you simply ignore or an emphatic NO, they walk away. Getting four stars rather than five as no public toilets on this beach.
Maria W — Google review
Nice small beach with lots of Sun beds etc to rent. As per the area lots of bars and shops. As usual plenty of street sellers just smile and say “ no thank you” worked for me! Overall 4**** as I could not see a public toilets !
Detectorist — Google review
I enjoyed myself on this beach. So far, of all the beaches I have visited on Tenerife, it is the best, no waves, no strong wind, crystal clear water, fine sand. Sunbeds and umbrellas that you can rent. There are plenty of beach bars and shops. I recommend this beach to everyone who wants to relax and rest.
Jelena R — Google review
Enjoyable walk plenty of food to choose from. Very busy if you hire your own car can be troublesome finding spaces for parking
DAMIAN W — Google review
Another picturesque beach on the island of Tenerife boasts golden white sands reminiscent of the Sahara Desert. This beach is renowned for its extensive array of restaurants and bars located along the beachfront promenade. It is meticulously maintained and offers breathtaking views, as well as a wide range of sunbeds for hire catering to diverse preferences. While also offering a wide range of water sports at your service should you choose to participate. Shop around for the best prices.

Nestled in the vibrant area of Costa Adeje, Playa de El Bobo is a delightful urban beach that caters to sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts alike. This hidden gem boasts soft golden sands and calm waters, making it an excellent choice for families with young children. The beach's tranquil ambiance allows visitors to unwind while enjoying stunning ocean views.
We enjoyed this beach because it doesn't have big waves, the rocks stop them. The underground parking is amazing, walking out of it you are right on the beach. But be careful with your things, we heard people got their belongings stolen while they were swimming.
Milica — Google review
Beautiful beach with clear and tranquil waters. There is a bar where you an get reasonable priced and very nice drinks (cocktails are €6 and a pint of Estrella is €2.5). 2 sunlonger and umbrella are €12. The three stars are because there are no toilets on the beach, but there is the usual shower. Plenty vendors with donuts, drinks and sunglasses too !
Sorin B — Google review
I read that the duck pancakes were worth travelling for- and around here any ‘travel’ means tackling hills that feel like mountains!! So we walked 15 mins downhill to find this gem tucked up on the front with a spectacular view. They don’t disappoint! This is authentic food. The pancakes were pancakes (not flour disks that dry and break) the sauce was home made, and the duck cooked by someone who knows how to roast a duck! The best duck pancakes I have ever eaten- and I’ve eaten plenty. Sadly, my eyes were bigger than my belly so I am taking home 1/2 the wet menu as it beat us in the heat- but it was great Chinese food done properly. Lovely staff who were attentive without being pushy. If you are in the area- find them- you won’t be disappointed you choose Chinese whilst in Tenerife!

⭐ 4/5 – Great Beach with a Few Limitations Playa de El Bobo is a lovely beach—clean, easy to access, and great for a relaxed day by the sea. Sunbeds and parasols are available for €6, and the natural rock wave breaker makes the water calmer and safer for swimming. But rocks under foot at places sea shoes recommend There are a few “lookie lookie” men walking around selling food, drinks, and towels, but they’re not pushy or harassing—just doing their thing. There’s no public toilet facility, which is a bit of a downside, but there is a small café stand nearby selling drinks and light refreshments. A solid beach option if you’re staying near the strip
James M — Google review
Loved it!!! Friendly and relaxing Good food spots nearby and the sea is good
Steve S — Google review
Lovely beach, beautiful sunset. There’s a lot to see and do here with right timing. Lovely walks and there’s something for everyone. Highly recommended
B S — Google review
Nice beach for children to have fun, and for toddlers too, no waves, however, there are pebbles, so you can consider it as a natural swimming pool. great for swimming with ease for a long time. Best time to watch the sunset, so enjoy this beach for a romantic picnic to watch the sunset, great for pictures of sunset.
Kevin S — Google review
Great beach, with multiple restaurants everywhere. We could see a lot of crabs here, black ones, it was a great experience. Also, even if there are some rocks in the water, that didn't bothered us because there were no waves at all most of the days when we went there. Lovely, purely gorgeous and fits for babies

Beaches
Playa de Torviscas is a popular beach located in the bustling resort area of Costa Adeje on the southwestern coast of Tenerife. It boasts golden sands, calm waters, and is well-protected from wind and waves by a large breakwater. The beach offers amenities such as loungers, umbrellas for rent, water sports, bars, and public restrooms. Visitors can enjoy swimming and sunbathing in its cozy and uncrowded atmosphere.
A beautiful, underrated beach. Playa de Torviscas is a decent sized beach, despite the large size it is often very busy; especially around 12-3pm. It is very difficult to find a sun bed around these times so if you would like them, I recommend coming as early as possible. The sand on the beach is grey/black. There is a lot of bars/restaurants/shops around the beach. Street vendors are often found here, and they are very pushy and sometimes won't leave you alone. The waves are usually pretty calm, depending on the wind levels. The first day we came it was impossible to swim because the wind was so prominent. But when there is less wind the water is pretty calm There are also bathrooms here, although they really aren't the best. The few times I went i found that there was no toilet paper, or it was dirty and they aren't very aesthetically pleasing visually if that matters to one. Watersport activities are also available here. I would say the beach is definitely worth paying a visit to and you could definitely spend a full day here.
Lena — Google review
Undoubtedly, this beach stands out as one of the most picturesque destinations, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets. The setting sun provides an exceptional backdrop for capturing stunning family photographs, with the sea’s vibrant hues serving as a picturesque backdrop.
Wubba_chicken — Google review
Accessibility is great here. Special spot for any one that's disabled and the lifeguards have a special trike to help you into the sea if needed and a wooden walkway to get you most of the way there if you can walk. Public toilets are very close amd also an accessible toilet available. Beautiful black sand too. The water is clear and child friendly.
Daniel H — Google review
Very nice beach. Black thich sand that is perfectly suitable for running and walking. Compared to other small beaches around its best. Has a good and free public toilet. Surrounded by bars, restaurants, and a McDonalds, where you can always buy an ice cream for 1,3 Euros. 😀 also a popular spot for watching sunrise and sunset
Daniel G — Google review
Lovely area. Great beach with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars 😀 plenty for everyone 😃 great beach 🏖️ even the lucky lucky men Took a simple “no thank you”didn’t bother me anymore 👍🏻
Detectorist — Google review
Lots of shops and restaurants. Lots to do either on land or sea, go on the boats or play on the inflatables. Rent motorbikes or jetskis, beach is nice as sand is lighter in colour.
Christine S — Google review
Costa adeje beach is fantastic and by far one off our favourite places to relax with plenty of shops and restaurants behind and vip sunbeds to hire with drinks included. 20/25 min walk down the front to Porta calone for all you watersports and activities

It's a lovely beach, volcanic sand, great for sunbathing, great music beats played at some of the beach bars. Loved watching the sunset.

With its pebble and volcanic sand, it provides a picturesque setting for photography enthusiasts, especially during spectacular sunsets. The beach is also popular among sport enthusiasts, particularly bodyboard lovers who are drawn to its impressive waves. Additionally, the area is known for paragliders landing on the shore, adding an element of excitement to the beach experience.
If you want to visit a black sand beach on the south of Tenerife, this little beach is a lovely quiet location for it!
Leo O — Google review
I was impressed by the black sand beach. You can rent a sun bed (1 is 12€ and for 2 is 18€ at the time of me writing this review) or you can put your towl on the sand (whick is bit rocky). the beach is not that big, but it is different from what i have seen so fat. There is a bar on the beach.
Stefania M — Google review
Lovely and much nicer than busy las Americas beaches
Djana F — Google review
It was windy so the waves were huge, but you could still swim
Marek Š — Google review
Beautiful Black sand beach. But still, I think I would rather go on other beaches for sunbathing. It is a little bit rocky.
Rakel R — Google review
Nice beach with black sand and facilities to rest and relax. It has many luxurious resorts and hotels near by. There is a top view point near hotel H10. You can see other nearby islands from here too. Take a walk around and u ll be amused
Irfan A — Google review
The beach is narrow, with pebbles, big ones, not ideal for a swim. There is a bar though, you can have a drink. This beach is one of the last ones in a long walk, not much to see if you continue towards the north.
Trash S — Google review
Fantastic beautiful place - you will see the paragliders soar like eagles off the nearby mountain and work their skills to land on this beach!! On top of that you will see the stacking beach stones whete visitors have carefully stacted a small pillar of stones looking out to sea!! Well worth a visit when in the area!!

Playas de Troya, located in the Playa de las Americas tourist area of Tenerife, consists of two beaches - Troya and Troya l. The 650m long and 20m wide dark volcanic sand beach offers loungers, straw parasols, and stunning sunset views. Known for its safety and cleanliness, it is a popular spot for families with children to enjoy the crystal clear ocean.
A beach with dirty yellow, already gray volcanic sand, but fine and quite pleasant. It is not rough gravel or coarse sand. The breakwaters here create smaller beaches, but with a view to the west, so it is ideal for sunsets here and romantic evenings. During the day, with good visibility, you can see La Gomera.
Szymon S — Google review
It is always crowded. So keep an eye out on your stuff. We always took only card from our hotel room. No phones, no wallets. We wanted to see something interesting with the masks but we were disappointed. Almost no ocean creatures and lots of rubbish.
Vasily G — Google review
Beautiful beach. Lots of people but plenty of space. Around the rocks on the left hand side the water is really clear for snorkelling.
Simon K — Google review
Here you find life. Instead of boring small beaches or rocky beaches. You have two options the quiet beach at the right or the beach with fun waves in the middle. I didn't try the left one. I tried other beaches but noooo. Next time I will go back to this smooth sandy wide beach with the same hotel behind it.
Nona H — Google review
Not that good. Is always windy and that beautiful. The side walk is good but i think is better during the night. Suggest to check playa de la dunque instead the place and atmosphere is 100% better. The beach sell are very loud and you should always keep an eye in your personal things.
Ardit B — Google review
One of the most practical beaches arround the area. The beach is sandy, you have bars and restaurants available in the area with decent prices. Very popular with tourists, so if you like a quiet beach, this is not for you. But dor a quick dip in the sea, it is good. Parking places are available in the area, so it tales max 5 minutes to walk down here.
Miha J — Google review
Came here to watch the sunset one night and was lovely. We were the only ones on the beach. Would be amazing for a sunset swim.

Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Siam Park is an outdoor water park with a Thai theme, offering thrilling slides for adventure seekers and family-friendly attractions. Visitors can experience the adrenaline rush of a 28-meter vertical drop slide and artificial wave pools, while children can enjoy the dedicated play area and entertaining sea lion shows. The park also features a dolphinarium and areas for relaxation, including lazy rivers. Additionally, animal lovers can explore Jungle Park to witness captivating bird shows and observe jaguars and pumas.
This is by far the best waterpark I have ever visited. The variety of slides is outstanding, and I particularly enjoyed spending time in the wave pool, which was both exciting and relaxing. A useful tip for future visitors: although the official opening time listed on Google is 10:00, I highly recommend arriving around 8:30–9:00 a.m. This allows you to secure the best sunbeds, especially those located in front of the wave pool, which offer the most convenient and enjoyable spot for the day. Another recommendation is to purchase the Fast Pass (€38 at the time of my visit). It proved to be absolutely worth it, as regular queues for many of the popular slides were between 40–60 minutes. Thanks to the pass, I was able to enjoy all the attractions without long waiting times. Overall, this park exceeded my expectations and provided an experience that was both thrilling and memorable. I will certainly return on my next visit, it truly offers a perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and excitement.
Maria S — Google review
Best in the word. I do recomand buying a VIP pass. A bit expensive but if you are a fan of parks like that is really worthy. The queues for each ride were infernal. We end up going 4 or 5 times on one slide while other people were advancing only 5 steps. The same for all of them except for one water slide which doesn’t have a fast pass but is still worth it at least once. Definitely you will need some water shoes but they do sell it there at around 11 euros. You can take a locker aswell for your belongings. Be there before they open, make sure you don’t miss anything.
Iulia J — Google review
Amazing water park! We went on a Tuesday mid October and it was busier than expected. We arrived at around 9.15 am and went straight into the park, we had pre-booked VIP which was so worth it. You are handed a towel and a wristband, then we headed straight for the lockers (which was a good idea as by 10:30 there was already a queue). After leaving our things in the locker, we waited for tower of power (rides open at 10am) and were first on the slide. After the is, we spent the morning going around the park with little to no queue in the fast pass lane. During the afternoon, we had to queue 5-10 mins for rides, even with fast pass, but the normal lanes were queuing for 30 mins - 1 hour so it was really worth it. The food is pretty basic (hot dogs, fries etc.) but as it was included with VIP we stopped for lunch around 1pm. In the buffet restaurant there is more choice and you can take as much as you want with the fast pass ticket. Prices for food were fairly reasonable though and you could buy a meal with a drink for 10-15€. From 1-4 seemed to be the busiest time in the park, with queues of 10-15 minutes even with fast pass. But after 4pm all the single use fast pass tickets seemed to have finished and we basically had free rein on any slide and were able to go around multiple times with no queue. Not sure how many VIP tickets they sell per day, but if you don’t want to spend your day in a queue it’s well worth the money. You don’t necessarily need water shoes - just bring an old pair of flip flops and leave them at the bottom of rides but with water shoes you’d definitely be more comfortable. The free park bus was completely full, but it’s just a 5 minute walk to the public bus which will take you back to los cristianos or las americas for less than €2.
Izzy — Google review
Absolutely, 100% worth a visit, definitely worth the money! You won't be disappointed. If you don't mind queuing for rides (for a while), I highly recommend VIP fastrack or the all-inclusive package (which includes locker, towels and food and drinks) Definitely take beach shoes as the concrete is ruffled in some areas and can be quite painful underfoot, let alone hot in summer months. Lots wore flip flops or crocks and put them on their wrist during rides. A lot of the queue waiting lines are shaded with trees, so not too much time standing around in the sun. Every ride is worth the wait. There's also a free bus from a few local areas. I'd recommend booking online (blue light discount through some websites!) you can buy tickets at the gate but they sell out for fastrack quite fast! You won't be disappointed, worth every penny. We absolutely loved this place and will most certainly be back 🫶
Angharad D — Google review
Brilliant! You must go. Best waterpark I've ever visited. The park and its water were so clean and well maintained. The design of it all is beautiful. It's tranquil and shaded but also plenty of spots to appreciate the sun. The flooring is designed perfectly for wandering around barefoot. The food isn't a rip off as I expected - very reasonably priced and actually very good. The music is great. The staff all looked so smart and there are plenty of lifeguards. It feels safe. The rides themselves are really incredible. Creative, fun, a range of thrill levels, and each had their own uniqueness so yous don't just feel like you've gone on 10 big slides. We went on a Tuesday in September and pretty much didn't queue for anything all day, bar 3 of the biggest rides. The most we queued for was 20 mins. We hired a locker for the day for €7 and you can come back to it as often as you like. (It's so nice to be without your phone for a day.) We went to the taxi rank outside to get back to our villa and even though there was a huge queue it didn't take long at all to go down. Loads of taxis coming through. Can't recommend it enough. I'll definitely be going back.
Rachel — Google review
Siam park was one of the highlights of our holiday. The rides are really good fun for all the family. There's something for all ages. Go on a Sunday as the queues are far shorter than any other day of the week. Get there as early as you can. Go straight to the beach area and grab your sunbeds. Water shoes help but aren't necessary. The tower of power is fast but not as scary as you may think. Go left on the lazy river. Enjoy. It's worth every penny.
Lee D — Google review
Awesome slides, all round goatendo switch experience. We went on a Friday in the middle of October and most of the slides had between a 5 and 20 minute wait except for the Tower of Power which was about an hour. All the staff were very helpful and enthusiastic, drinks were great and cheap, food was decent and not too expensive. We bought our tickets on the day and it was still not too busy, probably a good idea to get there just before opening time so you don't have to queue
Callum J — Google review
Siam Park is absolutely amazing – the rides, the atmosphere, and the overall experience are top-notch! It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re in Tenerife. However, it’s hard not to notice that, like everywhere in the world, money talks. Those who purchased the €38 fast pass were able to skip the lines and enjoy the slides much quicker, while the rest of us, the “average” visitors, had to wait 40–50 minutes for most attractions. Still, if you don’t mind the waiting times (or if you’re willing to pay extra for the fast pass), you’ll have an unforgettable day here!

Fañabé Beach is a popular and tourist-friendly destination located on Tenerife's south coast. It boasts palm trees, calm waters, and easy access to beach bars, shops, and dining options. Stretching over 500 meters with prestigious blue flag status for water quality and cleanliness, this golden sand beach stands out for its infrastructure and amenities. It is well-loved by both locals and tourists alike due to the good state of its waters and the lively atmosphere in the terrace areas.
Very nice beach with a lighter colour sand than others nearby. The area is very nice to get lunch and dinner. I would definitely return to this area on another visit in the future. It seems to be less party orientated and more suited to couples and families.

What can I say great beach with lots of bars, restaurant’s and shops. Something for everyone. Only negative are the street sellers but most are pleasant once you say “no thank you” the ones selling excursions seemed to be the most forceful.

Playa Fañabé is a pale sand beach in a busy touristic area, protected by a breakwater, with calm water, a gradual entry, and lifeguards on duty daily. It has a Blue Flag for cleanliness and safety, and offers views of La Gomera and beautiful sunsets. The beach can get crowded. Facilities include free showers, toilets, changing rooms, sunbeds from €6, and beach bars. The nearby harbour offers water sports and boat trips. Parking is limited near the beach. Costa Adeje is a stunning destination known for its spotless blue flag beaches, featuring soft white sand and clear waters. The beaches, such as Playa Puerto Colon, Playa Fanabe, and Playa Torviscas, offer plenty of sunbeds and parasols along with a traffic-free promenade lined with bars and restaurants. These beaches are sheltered by breakwaters, ensuring safe swimming conditions without strong currents.
Beautiful, stunning and a restful place. Amazing hotels although large, wonderful promenade walk. Fabulous scenery. A gorgeous part of Tenerife.

Costa Adeje and other local areas are lovely and clean and the locals are so friendly and welcoming. Weather is lovely and the food is of great quality. Weather will definitely come back for another visit. The Hovima Jardin Caleta is a lovely place to stay, and again the locals, and staff have a great feel about them. Highly recommended.

We visited this beach area in January 2024. The walk along the paved path by the sea is stunning; it's great for exercising and for soaking in the sun. I highly recommend a visit to this venue if you are in South Tenerife. I am sure you will have a great time enjoying the best that nature can provide.

If you like sun, sea, beaches, food and amazing sunsets this place is for you. Hundreds of bars restaurants and shops at your disposal. Don’t forget sunscreen as the sun here is harch and you get sunburn in no time. Still one of my favourite places to visit.

Costa Adeje, well well. First time visiting this area of the beautiful Tenerife. What a lovely holiday we have had, it's been fabulous. Such a warming welcome from the hotel staff at the Sunset Harbour Club and all the people we met on our walks around, taking in the site's and visiting restaurants and cafés. Sad to leave.

Great beach. Pretty clean, despite the crowd nevertheless a good place to enjoy. Full of bars and restaurants and of course souvenir jobs. Also has plenty of places for massages and don't forget the masseuse at the beach. Good value for money.

Playa nudista Diego Hernández, also known as Playa Blanco, is a secluded beach located in the southwest of Tenerife. Accessible only by foot through a nature reserve and narrow coastal paths, it may not be suitable for families with young children or individuals with walking disabilities. The beach is often referred to as a small oasis with white sand and turquoise waters, earning the nickname 'hippies cove.' Visitors recommend wearing sturdy footwear for the challenging hike to reach the beach.
A stunning wild beach tucked away in a beautiful bay. It's a popular spot for boats to anchor, allowing people to swim and sunbathe. We chose to hike there, which was an adventure in itself! Comfortable shoes are a must, as the descent is quite steep and challenging. The thrill of holding onto a rope and descending a cliff to reach the beach is unforgettable—where else can you experience that? This place is completely untouched by commercial infrastructure. There are no lifeguards, cafes, or facilities, so you’re on your own for safety. But the raw, natural beauty and the adventure of getting there make it all worthwhile. Highly recommended for those who love wild, off-the-beaten-path experiences!

Playa de Diego Hernández is a beautiful natural beach located on the southwest coast of Tenerife. It’s known for its friendly atmosphere, where everyone is welcome, including dogs. This beach is perfect for those looking for a peaceful escape with its fine sand, crystal-clear water, stunning views of La Gomera and beautiful sunsets. The beach’s gradual and safe entry into the water makes it ideal for swimming, and playing in the waves. Although there can occasionally be large waves, so it’s important to stay cautious. Mostly people with swimsuit, plus no shadow at all. If you want to stay there all day, you need a big umbrella. You can stay naked, as nobody will say anything, but it is strange how many people are with swimsuit on a nudist beach. You need good shoes to get there (no flip flops). There is a guy who sells water, juice and beer for 2 euro. The wawes were so big/strong today. I'm not sure if it is the same all the time. Recommend for a naked experience.
Horea L — Google review
First time at a nudist beach, it was really a loving experience. There were both dressed and nudist people and the beach is amazing with soft sand and pretty shallow. The hike is definitely worth it, one of the best beaches we've been to in tenerife.
Emilia F — Google review
Wonderful beach reachable by foot. Even out of the season quite difficult to find a spot for the car. Steep walk down so bring good shoes. The reward great. I guess nudity isn't all that popular anymore. So it's a mix of people but everybody seems to be OK with that. Sandy beaches, easily accessible so no need for water shoes. There are no facilities whatsoever. Just some guys selling sodas and beers for 2€ each. Have fun!
Siebren H — Google review
This is a perfect beach for a quiet day away from the masses on other beaches near Costa Adeje, this is a nudist beach but not necessity to have your kit off. The sand is lovey and no litter around. We walked from La caleta although quite easy if make sure you are confident on loose ground or steep hills in your flip flops first otherwise bring some better foot wear.
The R — Google review
Laid back sandy beach with not many tourists hanging about, due to the high tide, not much sandy area was available to sunbath. You do have to hike to the beach about 10 min, the hike is relatively easy due to the many paths.
Amsterdam R — Google review
This beach is absolutely THE BEST in my opinion. You can relax without your clothes (naked, I mean) More people are coming on weekends, but overall, it is our favourite beach on the Tenerife so far..

Water & Amusement Parks
Aqualand Costa Adeje is an open-air water park complex located in the lively Costa Adeje area of Tenerife. The park features a variety of thrilling slides and tube rides, as well as kids' pools and a dolphinarium where visitors can enjoy dolphin shows. Aqualand offers a perfect mix of adrenaline-pumping adventures and leisurely water-based attractions, catering to families and water enthusiasts of all ages.
It was a great choice for our 8- and 10-year-old girls. It wasn’t crowded at all, even though we visited during the Easter school holiday week in April. The water was a bit colder than we expected, but the sunshine helped a lot. The slides were really good, and we really liked the photo system — professional photographers take pictures of you throughout the park, and you can later view or buy them, including a nice group/family photo. The dolphin show was actually better than the one at Loro Park. It was longer, and they also explained everything in English. Some kids from the audience could even join the show in a very safe and fun way.
Andras L — Google review
Aqualand Costa Adeje is simply amazing! The dolphins are incredible to watch, and the slides are extremely thrilling – perfect for adrenaline lovers. The park is spotless, well-maintained, and very modern, making it a fantastic day out for the whole family. Highly recommended!

Great experience highly recommend! I had a 5 years and a 2 year old and we stayed in the kids area which was perfect for them. WARNING to all parents! Do not go down the slides in the toddler and kid section, it is not designed for adults! I witnessed many people including my wife hurt them selves at after completing the slide!!!! Should probably have a warning or something in place! Apart from that it was amazing!
The S — Google review
We visited with two 11-year-olds and one 12-year-old and had a lot of fun! We really liked that there were no long waiting lines, and the dolphin show was great too. The only downside was that the slides closed before 4:30 p.m. — we would have appreciated being able to stay in the park until 5 p.m. As soon as the dolphin show ended, they started closing everything down.
Mojca G — Google review
Big Q at the entrance but it went fast. Lockers are paying be. We were there with 2 kids, 10y and 13y and it were really fun. What we didn't like were the big Q on rides and security who didn't tell us that our kids were not tall enough for the ride, so we waited 40 min on Q for nothing. And we are not the only one, he did that to others as well. It's good that you can get out and back in to park. Delphine show is AMAZING, definitely don't miss out.
Marina Z — Google review
I really rate this park, it has some decent rides and they allow you to take your own food along unlike other places which is handy. Good selection of rides with minimal queuing. Kids areas were cool and kept the little ones entertained for hours

Great day out and the highlight was the dolphin show. Amazing how well trained they are. I couldn't believe people getting up and leaving during it was very disrespectful and distracting.. otherwise what a show. Kids loved the slides for 5 years old. I would advise bring food to it as its expensive.

Great day at the beach. Quite small compared to others available. Loved snorkelling and the abundance of fish just 10-20m from the shore. Sand is softer than it looks in the pictures online and water was warm. Plenty of restaurants and live music to keep you entertained. Would love to visit again.
Globe T — Google review
Great beach with nice water and sand, but a few buts.. 1. As any other city beach, this one is not an exception, the amount of people is massive, very loud and you can’t relax there to chill under the sun. 2. Another reason is people coming to you trying to sell you cheap stuff or braids. During 1 hour we’ve been approached 6 times and the main problem here is that they sell it that aggressive that you don’t feel comfortable in any way. I am cool to say cold-hearted “No”, but most people aren’t. And you can feel the pressing when they talk to you. Very annoying.
Nick K — Google review
It would be a very nice beach for families staying in the family friendly hotels around with soft sand , great walk-in in the sea - however there are cigarettes everywhere in the sand, other waste left by everybody and nobody cleans it up. Having been here with my little son I was constantly removing litter while building sandcastles…not sure for what the 12 € per sun lounger are used .. definitely not for keeping the beach in a family friendly and healthy state. Definitely would not recommend it to anyone who has the health of their kids or the nature on its mind
Anne — Google review
I didn't like this beach. The sand section in the water was very short and mostly rocky, no large parking nearby, the paid sunbeds were far from the water, and when I went deeper in the water there was a fish attacking my feet. Also very crowded and small.

We had the absolute best experience with Bruno at the Spa ! 🤍truly the best massage treatments we’ve ever had! His technique, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the body are on another level. He intuitively knew exactly what was needed, and every detail of the treatment was perfect. We were so impressed that we booked with him two days in a row, and each session left us feeling completely renewed. Beyond his incredible skill, he’s also such a kind and genuine person !!!! the best human to be around. Highly recommend Bruno if you want a world-class, healing massage experience.
Vegan S — Google review
My wife and I stayed in the Royal Hideaway Corales Beach adults only hotel for five nights in late September 2025. We hadn’t had chance to get a holiday all year and needed some rest and relaxation. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and this experience only got better as the holiday progressed. The hotel is beautiful, it is split into two sections with one side being suites/apartments and the other hotel rooms. We were in the hotel section. We arrived at about 10pm and were greeted warmly at the reception with a welcome glass of fizz whilst we quickly checked in, during check-in we were given an excellent overview of all the facilities and were shown to our room by a very friendly team member who provided a thorough guide of the room. We were tired from the travel and the introduction was just long enough to let us know the essentials without it being too much. The room was wonderful, very big, everything you could need and it had a large balcony with sea views, the balcony had sun loungers and felt very private. The bed was huge and super comfortable. The giant roll top bath was perfect! The entire hotel is spotlessly clean. There are a number of very high-quality restaurants at the hotel and a more relaxed walk-in restaurant which serves food based on different themes each night. Breakfast is excellent with a large buffet and food available to order from a menu. Everything we had was excellent. The hotel is located close to a small costal town which plays host a number of lovely restaurants and bars situated around the bay, everything felt high quality and fresh. There is also a well stocked convenience store a few minutes walk away. There are a lot of facilities at the hotel including gym and wellness centre. We used two of the hotel pools, one at ground level and also an infinity pool on the roof. At our time of visiting we never had an issue finding somewhere to relax and the pool side service was perfect for our needs. Cocktails were 10/10. The real stars of the hotel are the team, every single person we came into contact with was genuinely friendly and kind, we were left feeling like they really wanted to make sure we were happy. Which we were. The only negative thing about the five days was that we had to leave. Highly recommend.
Tristram M — Google review
What a fantastic hotel! It is rare that I cannot or do not want to find a fault but honestly I cannot. After five glorious nights here, sad to be leaving! The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless and well maintained, and the staff were amazing with a nothing is too much trouble attitude which is something rare in Tenerife. The hot tub on our balcony was a highlight and San Ho, one of the three Michelin starred restaurants on site, was outstanding. The spa was excellent with massages and facials delivered to the highest standard. We will definitely be back! Gracias Room 2518

5 stars all round. Spacious room with a huge balcony and incredibly comfortable bed. The service at this hotel really stands out, the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after. Hotel breakfasts are normally a let down but this one was so impressive - they had everything and it was all very tasty. Special shoutout to our waiter Paolo who greeted us with a smile every morning and was super attentive! Would highly recommend this hotel

We love our 10 day stay at Royal Hideaway Corales. Everything is top notch. All staff are really wonderful. The hotel is pristine clean. Service is great. We have breakfast and dinner included. The food is excellent. Our room is specious. The balcony is private and large. The hotel is a bit away from the busy part of town yet just a short distance away. The location is perfect. We can’t wait to return.

Well I really dropped the ball not reviewing this place as soon as we came back. My husband and I went in June for both of our birthdays which are back to back. They made us feel so welcome and special and the resort itself is gorgeous. Beautiful views, well situated for a nice morning walk to see the sunset. Everything from small pool bites to Michelin star meals that still make me drool when I think about it. I would recommend this resort to everyone and can’t wait to go back myself.

Although parking can be challenging, visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and lovely beach setting.
A beautiful beach in Callao Salvaje. The shore is pebbly but cozy, and I recommend using water shoes for swimming due to the rocky bottom. The beach has umbrellas, but sunbeds, which were available in the past, are no longer there. Despite this, it’s a lovely spot for sunbathing and swimming. Highly recommend for a peaceful day by the sea!

We had a lovely day down at the beach. This is a fairly quiet beach, so great if you want to get away from the crowds. Free parking just up the road and the path down is easy. There are free parasols which is great but no sunbeds. This is a lava rock sand/pebble beach, so recommend water shoes or sandals. The sea was very rough when we visited which apparently is unusual for that area but meant no swimming, it was still great to watch. One down side is we came across a lot of cigarette buds - why can't people look after the environment? Especially considering there are bins near by. There is a shower and amazing restaurants right on the beach. Highly recommend overall

Small little quiet beach with black sand and quite a lot of rocks. The path to the beach is a dirt road and rocky. The surroundings are mainly palm trees and lots of rocks that seemed they remained from a building site. We went there at sunraise and although you don't see the sun the sky view was still beautiful from there. Beach was relatively clean and had a few umbrellas. There is a beach bar where you can enjoy a drink. You can also watch the ocean and take nice pictures from the little quay. You can go up the hill, and the view from there is even better.

Playa La Caleta is a charming pebble beach located in the tranquil fishing village of La Caleta in south Tenerife. The calm waters make it perfect for snorkeling and swimming, with ladders available for easy access to the sea. It's a great spot for families, and you can take a leisurely coastal walk from Playa de las Americas to discover other secluded coves and beaches. The village itself offers low-key restaurants serving fresh seafood, adding to its laid-back charm.
One of the best areas for taking a romantic stroll on the promenade around sunset. It's also filled with seafood and fish restaurants (although you should probably reserve a table, particularly if you want to sit outside, since those are usually taken). Most of the coastline is paved in one way or another.

Once a rustic fishing town, La Caleta has also transformed into a holiday destination. The region's warm and sunny climate has contributed to the area's growing significance, making Adeje one of the wealthiest municipalities in Tenerife.

Playa de Ajabo is a delightful seaside destination that offers visitors an exquisite beach experience. The pristine shoreline, adorned with no-cost parasols, boasts dark and velvety sand, providing a unique sensation underfoot. Though the occasional robust waves necessitate caution for young ones, adept swimmers will find no obstacles in their path. Noteworthy sightings include a splendid sea turtle frequenting the area's favored feeding grounds located a couple of miles away.

There is a restaurant on this beach. It is really beautiful beach with balck sand. At the time we visited there was not too many people there.
Leo P — Google review

An easy walk down the ramps to get to the beach. Wasn’t too crowded at sunset and there’s a lovely bar right there to enjoy the views and have a drink. It’s a rocky beach with black stones so could get hot in the sun.

Great little black sand beach with a life guard.
Justine A — Google review
Small little quiet beach with black sand and quite a lot of rocks. The path to the beach is a dirt road and rocky. The surroundings are mainly palm trees and lots of rocks that seemed they remained from a building site. We went there at sunraise and although you don't see the sun the sky view was still beautiful from there. Beach was relatively clean and had a few umbrellas. There is a beach bar where you can enjoy a drink. You can also watch the ocean and take nice pictures from the little quay. You can go up the hill, and the view from there is even better.

Very nice beach , free of charge umbrellas. And sand close to water is completely black and pleasant for your feet ( a new experience for us). Waves 🌊 could be a bit rough sometimes,so watch Your kids ,as I have seen adult man nocked down by one. If your a swimmer ,not a problem. Also we Have seen a Sea Turtle 🐢 out there, as couple of miles away apparently is their favourite feeding ground. Overall rather quiet and pleasant place. Sundowns are beautiful out there .

It's black sand, it's not one of the major beaches, but the kids loved the rough sea and quieter location

Playa del Bobo is a serene urban beach in Costa Adeje, perfect for those seeking a quieter atmosphere. Unlike other beaches in the area, it prohibits water sports, making it an ideal spot for peaceful swimming and relaxation. The fine grey-brownish sand invites sunbathers while shallow waters are safe for children to splash around. Lined with eateries and featuring a delightful boardwalk, this beachfront offers chair rentals and a tranquil ambiance.
Very good, love the reservation possibility on the sunchairs

Nice small clean beach with lots of Sun beds etc to rent and a couple of restaurants/bars. Right above the beach on a walkway there are lots of shops and bars. Public toilets actually on beach and even a Mc Donald’s at one end Still plenty of street sellers but as stated on others reviews just be polite and do No thank you seemed to work
Detectorist — Google review
Convenient beach place with possibility to rent beach equipment (sunbeds with table). Very well maintained beach with the shore suitable for small children. Also, possible to order drinks and food from the nearby bar directly to your sunbeds.
Vidas D — Google review
Review for the CoqueLuche beach bar and sunlongers. Pretty quiet beach with grey sand, not much waves and considerable less vendor noise. They do come, but are very quiet and less insisted on buying stuff. Sunlongers are double the price of Troya beach and the others at €24 for 2 sunlonger and umbrella. Food and drink are good but also more expensive than your usual in the are. You do have waiters taking and bringing in your orders at the sunlonger table so I guess you pay for that too. Prices are not for everyone and certainly I would not come every day, but a visit is recommended for sure 👌.
Sorin B — Google review
Nice beach with clean grey sand. Pretty calm compare to Fanabe beach, bar music is not loud. You can rent 2 sun beds + umbrella for 21 eur

Due to the color of the sand, it looks like the water is dirty but actually it’s quite clean.

Playa Del Puertito De Adeje is a hidden gem that beautifully marries golden sands with intriguing rock pools teeming with vibrant marine life. This crescent-shaped beach exudes a charming local vibe, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration. From July to September, you might even catch sight of Loggerhead Turtles! The soft sand invites you to unwind while the gentle waves create perfect conditions for swimming and snorkeling.
We came here to watch the sunset, but the waves were small, so you could swim. The sand was amazing and soft, there was a trail you could hike to another beach that offers beautiful views. The bar on the beach also has nice beverages. There isn't much place to park here, so you might need to drive around for a spot.
Monika B — Google review
Stopped by Playa del Puertito and somehow forgot to leave — again! Cute little bay, clear water, chill vibe. Perfect spot to escape the crowds and pretend you live here forever. Next time I’m bringing snacks and staying until sunset — highly recommend!

EL PURTITO IS A LITTLE VILLAGE WITH A BEAUTIFUL BEACH AND A RESTAURANT OFFERING CANARIAN CUISINE. YOU CAN WALK AROUND THE COASTLINE ON THE RIGHT SIDE, YOU WILL FIND A NICE OCEAN POOL.
Honest T — Google review
Gorgeous here. Small bar on the corner of the beautiful beach is ideal. Great place to read a book for hours and relax. There is a small car park by the beach that costs 2 euros for as long as you want.
Marcus B — Google review
What a stunning little bay. I looked up "best places to snorkel in Tenerife" and up popped El Puertito. And it didn't disappoint! Beautiful clear water, an abundance of species to watch. Car park was just €2 for as long as you wanted. There was a little bar/ restaurant. And it was so chilled. Cannot wait to go back!
Graham S — Google review
Great, little, not crowded beach (visited in mid November). Water is clean and beautiful. You can swim and snorkel as if it was a pool. It is really quiet and you can visit some nice cliffs to watch the ocean and the sunset. (Little warning: you cannot lie on the sand during high tide)
Felipe V — Google review
Yes, not touristic beach at all. Worth a visit and a good walk around the clifs. Indeed some friendly folks, tourists not only hippies reside on these clifs, choosing open air or tent instead of a hotel room. Wonderful views.
Tadas Z — Google review
Aug 2025: nice little sandy beach in a harbour. There are limited (5 or so) parking spots but also a paid parking lot. Beachsize is about 5 to 10 meters deep depending on tide and maybe 200 meters long. No strong current or waves as it is in a bay. Bring your sun-umbrella, there is no shadow. Black sand, great for children. Relatively muddy water due to the sand and also seagrass, 10 meters in it is better. Snorkeling to the entry is possible, more waves and sealife there.
