Stayed here on our honeymoon in March 2023. Lovely hotel with plenty of beds around both pools. We only had breakfast in the hotel but it was very good. Would reccomend. Location is a little out of the way from where I usually stay. But it's nitpicking.

Lovely hotel, has all the facilities for families, young couples and those of us that are matured in life. Staff are very helpful, polite, and welcoming. Food is very good indeed, a great choice each day for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Great entertainment each night well supported. Hotel is having a closure end of January for a refurbishment, costing quite a few million euros, 7 months closed. It will be very impressive, I am sure once completed. Yes it's needed because it's a little dated in area's. Love the Adults only area for relaxing, quietness and swimming pool facilities on top deck floor 6. All in all it's a lovely hotel and not too far from the front if you like beach and sea areas of El Duque.. *****

We are booked for November 19th, when is the hotel reopening please. There are 7 of us on a long awaited family break so I’m slightly concerned as the tour operator said it was due to reopen in August. Please can you advise. Thank you

Stunning hotel with everything you could ask for. Stayed here on an all inclusive basis, and was extremely happy with everything. Good selection of food and drinks on offer (the pool bar area offers take away options for food and drink too). Swimming pools very good size and with plenty of sun beds available, no issues getting one at any time of day. Easy 5min walk down into the main town area/beach. Overall would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking to add a bit more of a luxury feel to their holiday 💁‍♂️

Absolutely amazing, I’ve had a lush time here at GF gran costa adeje the staff were lovely and the buffet was GREAT if your doing all inclusive and the pool is big and well maintained they give you your own towels, the bathroom was incredible very modern and cleaned thoroughly and they make your bed every morning it was amazing definitely recommend this wonderful hotel.

Amazing!!! Been 4 times to this hotel and every time I can not fault beautiful people with amazing service, I'm going back for my 5th stay in November great time to go, food and drink always perfect and if not they are so happy to fix. The staff don't even feel like staff they are like family now I LOVE this hotel I personally would not go to any other

Cant wait for our second stay here in may we loved our first trip, heard lots of mixed reviews about a kids splash park being added? Can someone from the hotel confirm if this is true?
Jamie N — Google review
We stayed at this hotel for the second time with our 2 year old daughter. The hotel is great for families with toddlers, babies or older kids: very spacious, the staff is amazing, rooms offer enough space for younger more energetic members of family. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach, heated children's pool, food for breakfast and dinner and music in the evenings. I don't think the animation team knows how to deal with younger kids (best for 5+), but they're nice and wish we'll. We were however sadly harassed by the neighbor guests who banged on our wall when our daughter was singing or playing in the room. Expect many many senior visitors in this hotel: most of them are nice, but there will always be a few who expect this to be a senior residence with no children around. As miserable as those people are - they can ruin your family's holiday.

Resort hotel
Iberostar Waves Las Dalias is an unassuming all-inclusive hotel located in Adeje, South Tenerife. It's conveniently situated near Centro Comercial San Eugenio and Siam Park, with Fanabe Beach and Playa de las Americas within a 2km radius. The family-friendly 4-star accommodation offers various amenities such as outdoor pools, a spa, fitness center, and multiple dining options.
We’ve just returned from our first package holiday with our daughter Lucia, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience than at Iberostar Waves Las Dalias. From start to finish, the hotel team were genuinely fantastic. I found them friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. But I want to make a particular mention of the Food & Beverage team in the main restaurant. As a hotelier myself, I watch service standards quite closely, and I can honestly say this team is second to none. Every single member showed professionalism, warmth, and a genuine passion for what they do. They’re a credit to the hotel, and if I could, I’d happily have any one of them working on my team. I really hope this feedback is shared with them as they deserve to know the difference they make to guests’ experiences. Thank you, Las Dalias, for helping make our first family holiday one to remember.

We have really loved our experience at the hotel, the food and staff of the hotel have been amazing. It was head and shoulders above our expectations. I would like to make a special review towards the photo staff at the hotel. Especially Jack, he was very friendly and approachable. Always with a smile and a friendly way about him and never to pushy. It is a shame to see how some of the other guests have treated the photographers, who are only doing their jobs. They are providing professional quality photos at a really good price and Jack in particular with us was very patient when our daughter arrived upset to the photo shoot we had booked. He made her really happy in the shoot and really turned what could have been a disaster into a really lively experience. That has been our experience with Jack, but I will say that I have seen the other members of staff use the same approach and attitude around the hotel. Even with some of the negative approach of some of the other guest, they keep smiling and remain professional throughout. I would recommend their staff and company to anyone. The only negative I have about the hotel is the air conditioning. It is very poor and never reaches the setting of temperature it is set too. The only place in the hotel which has up to standard air conditioning is the shop in the hotel. It being to hot is quite a big thing for us and probably others from colder countries to escape the heat. I feel if the air conditioning was upgraded, it would entice us and others to come back.

We’ve just come back from the most amazing week at Iberostar Waves Dalias. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed – check-in was smooth and we were offered a refreshing welcome drink which set the tone for the rest of our stay. I’m usually very cautious with all-inclusive holidays as I’m coeliac, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. Every meal had numerous naturally gluten-free options, and staff were more than happy to prepare me gluten-free pizza, pasta, and even desserts. Every dish was clearly labelled with allergens, and I felt safe and relaxed eating here for the first time on holiday. A lovely touch was the themed dining each evening – we were even offered different drinks on arrival at dinner to match the food theme of the night, which really made it feel special. The entertainment was incredible – the team are genuinely talented dancers and performers, and the evening shows were brilliant. During the day there were always fun activities like water polo, aqua fit, and the water carpet. Dana and Carlos in particular deserve a special mention – they were so fun to be around and did their upmost to ensure we were having a great time. We did have a small issue with our first room on arrival, but reception handled it perfectly and moved us straight away to a refurbished room with an amazing balcony view. The room was spotless and cleaned to a very high standard every morning. Every single member of staff we met – from cleaners, bar staff, and waiting staff to the entertainment team and photography team were professional, friendly, and really made our stay memorable. Could not recommend Iberostar Waves Dalias highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel has been absolutely incredible. The team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. One of the highlights was the amazing photo shoot we had during our stay – the setting was perfect, and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly. The photos turned out even better than we imagined, and we’ll treasure them forever. A special thank you to Jack, who was outstanding throughout our time here. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out and made us feel so welcome. In fact, every member of the staff has been amazing – friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They created such a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home from the very first day. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay – it’s an experience. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time during our December stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always made us feel welcome. There were plenty of activities for all age groups, and the entertainment each evening was lively and fun. The heated pools were a big bonus during the winter months – perfect for both relaxation and play. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. We never got bored of the options available. The rooms were a bit outdated in decor, but they were cleaned thoroughly every day, which kept everything comfortable and tidy. One suggestion for improvement: it would be great if there were more visible access to first aiders and first aid kits around the hotel. While the resort is very well-equipped in most ways, having quick access in case of minor accidents would really enhance the sense of safety and care. Overall, it was a wonderful holiday, and we’d definitely return!

Despite arriving at Tenerife South without our luggage - which was very upsetting - this hotel made our stay absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly helpful every day, constantly trying to call Menzies (who never answered the phone) on our behalf. The weather was 25°C in February, which was unbelievable for us coming from a cold and snowy country. Although the ocean was too cold for swimming, the hotel had a heated swimming pool that we absolutely loved. The best surprise for us was discovering that our accommodation consisted of two large separate rooms connected by a door. Our children had their own separate room and bathroom, while we had ours as well - what a comfort! I particularly enjoyed the powerful shower, which was perfect for cooling off after long sightseeing tours. Another pleasant surprise was the cold water dispensers located throughout almost every corner of the hotel, where guests could get free cold drinking water whenever they wanted. The food was excellent with an incredible variety to choose from under our all-inclusive package. Most drinks were also included for all-inclusive guests. The staff ensured that everyone received exactly what they wanted. There are shops right across from the hotel where you can buy almost everything you need - this came in particularly handy for us since our luggage was lost. The hotel is also conveniently located not far from Siam Park which is another large shopping center. The entertainment was fantastic, and we danced most of the night. This hotel is an excellent place to stay and comes highly recommended.

We were surprised to know that they had left the restaurant open for those who came late from their flights. ( We came at around 3am ) so that was really nice to hear. We came with around 11 people ( including myself ) and it was overall a great stay for a week. The food there was really fabulous and was really yummy. They have different themes for each day for dinner, and even if it wasn't my theme, I still found plenty to eat. Included lots of seafood too, which I adored. View of the place outside our rooms did lack a bit ( considering the fact we only saw the highway from our view ) but it didn't ruin anything. Also a bit of a small room, but enough to have 3 people sleep in there. Only couple of problems, like the photographers being really pushy to buy their photos, but others are just tiny problems I've occurred. Overall, great stay! Amazing night's full of different shows each day! Thank you Iberostar!

Went here a couple years ago (2022?) and it was one of the BEST hotels I have ever been to. Food (SO good and much), service, location (except the long walk to the beach), rooms, pool, gym and other activities, animation. One of the best vacations I've ever had :) Wanted to return here in 2025, but the prices went up by almost 50% ever since. Which is a little insane. Back then it was definitely worth the €1500/person, but nowadays it would be €2200/person, which is absolutely insane.

Well deserved ⭐⭐⭐⭐ At reception, Celia should get bonus for costumer service. She's great 👍. Javier at restaurant is the best 👍 All staff working hard and shows five star hotel standards.. I could honestly recommend this hotel for couples and families. We have great time at Tenerife enjoying beaches and park's and many other things, then we enjoyed spending nights at this hotel. Thank you for your service 🙏

Stayed for 10 days in July and got a great vacation. The hotel looks a little bit tired, but the staff is constantly maintaining the property, and the rooms and commonplace are clean. The staff is exceptional and they are always trying their best. Very friendly and professional. Breakfast and lunchtime are very busy in the canteen but the staff there manage the flow perfectly. It was a pleasure to watch them at work, and it's easy to get seated without wanting. But when you have your seat, it can be crowded when you are putting food on the plates. Food tasted fine, just the usual. Location is also good, short walk to the beach and there are plenty of restaurant nearby if you want the change things up a bit. There are two pool areas, the lower one is usually very crowded and it's hard to get spot there so we usually just stayed on upper floor pool where it was less crowded and you can easily get a spot there. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

I was quite disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The food served during my visit was far from fresh — several dishes tasted like they had been prepared hours earlier, which really affected the overall dining experience. Additionally, there was no information provided about the dress code before my stay. It was quite embarrassing to find out about it only upon arrival, which could have easily been avoided with better communication. For the price and rating of this hotel, I expected much better attention to detail and guest service. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here again. Only the location is perfect.
Lidia F — Google review
Hotel was lovely, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Always clean and well presented. There are three pools on the ground floor. Babies, kids with floats and a dedicated swimming pool. The fifth floor has a pool that starts shallow and gets deep as you go along which allows floats. The food is well prepared but not much variety day to day and a few of the counters have the same meals. Staff were friendly and helpful with the exception of the cleaning staff of the last day repeatedly coming into my room asking me to leave after I paid for a late check out which they did not seem happy about.
Mari-Ann G — Google review
We have just returned from a week’s stay at this hotel on an all-inclusive basis and overall had a wonderful holiday. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, and the hotel facilities were excellent. However, I feel it’s important to be honest about the food, which was unfortunately quite poor and did not meet the standard expected from an all-inclusive resort. While everything else about our stay was fantastic, the quality and variety of the food definitely need improvement. Despite this, we still enjoyed our time here and would recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and friendly atmosphere — with the hope that the dining experience will be improved in the future.
Struan H — Google review
We only used the hotel as a base as we are out and about for the 10 days we were away. The rooms and hotel was spotlessly cleaned, always a cleaner in sight when walk around. Only had breakfast twice the fresh made omelette was my go to which was lovely. Only marked down as the evenings we had food the food was e aptly the same so we didnt have much choice on trying different things. Seafood and Italian served all the nights we were there. Desserts were lovely gelato machine was our favourite. Would recommend for a basic hotel if you are like us out and about all day but if you want to go all inclusive you may find the food isnt worth it
Rebecca F — Google review
Just got back from 10 night all inclusive holiday with 14 other people. This hotel is not 4 star more like 2 star. We had our 2 and 3 year old grandchildren with us in buggys and often was waiting long periods for lifts in which 1 was broken down all the time we was there.the pool areas for small kids are OK but they need swim shoes on because ov the dodgy decking that surround the pool. Restaurant food seems to get worse the longer we stayed never saw any real meat all the time we was there.just curries and burgers every day. the entertainment staff outside and in never actnoliged any ov our group at any time of the holiday they seem to dislike English and we're on talking to Spanish and French people all they do is 3 three minutes dancing around the pool every day. Lastly the nightlife the kids club room is so run down and smells ov damp tables and chairs dropping to bits opens at 8.30 closes at 10.30. The piano bar is so boring the singers they have on make you go to sleep they are finished for 10 or 10.30 pm every night. the bar does all inclusive until 11.30 after that you have to pay for the drinks before they are pushing you out to close up that's if you can get smiling Johnny bravo behind the bar to serve you. Unbelievable for the price we paid other hotels around the area much better.
Demi N — Google review
Not the newest hotel, but it’s well maintained and in good condition. The cleaning staff are very friendly and do a great job. The only downside during the last three days was the service lady at the omelet station — she seemed quite uninterested. She always cooks the eggs until they’re completely dry and only then starts preparing the guests’ orders, so the ingredients end up cold. It’s a shame that such a small detail can affect the overall impression of an otherwise pleasant stay.

Nestled in the heart of Costa Adeje, Tagoro Family & Fun is a delightful all-inclusive resort that captures the essence of Spanish Colonial architecture. Just a short drive from Playa de las Americas Public Beach, this family-friendly hotel features bright and airy accommodations alongside two inviting pools. Guests can unwind at the spa salon, complete with a solarium and Jacuzzi, or enjoy refreshing drinks at the pool bar.
Such a lovely hotel, we stayed in May 2025 and couldn’t fault it at all! Facilities were top notch, staff were the friendliest I have ever come across, so helpful with any query we had, very good with our 5 year old son. Entertainment each night was good, kids club was also very good! Food was brilliant and had such a variety and changed every afternoon and evening. Very clean and plenty of sun beds each day! Would go back in the morning, really enjoyed it. Only downside I would say is location, it’s a bit away from the main ‘town’, it’s a 5-8 min taxi but long enough walk and very hilly coming back to hotel, taxis were very reasonable so didn’t mind! Also supermarket across the road from hotel for all your needs! 10/10 lovely hotel and can not rate the staff highly enough, every person we came in contact with was so friendly’

We spent a week as a family (2 adults and a 1 year old), the rooms were great, big size and we had a good size balcony which was perfect. The staff were very friendly, Jorge who worked in the kitchen area was really welcoming and also let me practice my Spanish with him which was great. All staff were very nice and they worked hard. Our little one loved the mini disco and there was always entertainment in the evening. A few things that could be improved would be the kids club could have a few more things to do etc (especially as a parent who has to accompany them as she was under 4), the food available around the bar could also be improved- maybe some more healthier options (hummus/carrots/bread sticks/olives) as it was mainly fried food. Overall we had a nice stay and the welcoming staff helped make our stay enjoyable.

Thank you for an amazing break at Tagoro ✨️ We stayed in room 130 from the 26th October to midday on the 31st . Our room was facing on to the pool area. Our room was cleaned to a high standard The hotel staff were amazing and the complex was maintained to a very high standard. The restaurant catered fir all tastes and the food and selection was amazing. Just want to give 🌟 to Jorge for remembering us from previous visits and also the Lifeguards around the splash pool . Our first time at the hotel with our family of four. Our 6 and 8 year old loved the kids pool. Breakfast and lunch were as expected and were fine for us and we ate out every evening so can't comment on dinner. I think for value it was worth it. A 15 minute walk down hill to the restaurants and bars and a 5 euro taxi back to the hotel.

We had a fantastic holiday. So much fun and great memories made. Although the wine selection was very poor and no table service at dinner. Often there was not enough staff working or just poorly managed. But all in all a fantastic holiday despite cold red wine from a tap.

Great place for sun holidays, great environment, swimming pools, activities… great the kids club runs for long time from 1000 to 1700with great team- kids loved it Food is also great with different specialities around the world, the life cooking specially the one on the side with special and very different foods and combinations of flavours was surprising and great, Thanks Sonia for explaining the menu. Meliá Jardines del Teide - Adults only is a luxurious 5-star resort located in the heart of Costa Adeje, just a short walk from Playa Del Duque. The hotel offers bright and upscale accommodations with ocean views, an outdoor heated swimming pool, and three acres of beautiful gardens.
This hotel is fantastic. We have returned multiple times as the service and facilities are exceptional. The staff are what make the experience so brilliant, particularly the enthusiasm from the entertainment team. The classes and workshops are amazing and I would highly recommend making the most of them when you visit. We did the aqua fit, Latin dance, coffee workshop and the jewellery workshop which were all so much fun. Every meal and drink we had at the hotel was also brilliant with exceptional service from the team. I’d recommend Pico Negro by the pool area. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Tenerife.
Holly M — Google review
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place itself is beautiful and everything is kept spotlessly clean. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, always making us feel welcome. A special mention goes to Beatriz, Jesus, and Ariel, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great holiday. Their warm service really stood out to us and made our stay even more enjoyable. There is only one small downside we noticed: the vegetarian food options could definitely be improved. Often, only the side dishes were vegetarian, and at the pool bar the snacks were limited to fruit. All the sandwiches and salads contained meat or fish, which was a little disappointing. It would be great to see a wider variety of vegetarian choices in the future. Overall, though, we truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly come back!

I spent seven nights at Melia Jardines del Teide and left feeling refreshed, sun-kissed, and pleasantly satisfied. The hotel is perched on a hillside, which means the views over Costa Adeje and the Atlantic are absolutely stunning—especially at sunset. I had the Level Master Suite and the rooms were spacious and modern, with a comfortable bed, sofa bed, two bathrooms and two balconies, a space that became my morning coffee spot. The Master Suite offers added benefits, with one free dining option, money discounted for another meal and private return transfers to the airport - it is well worth considering. I had booked The Level experience and the upgrade is well worth it, with private lounge access, premium drinks, and a quieter pool area which made the stay feel more exclusive. Food was a highlight. The Level breakfast buffet had everything from fresh fruit, made-to-order requests, cold-cuts, champagne etc. The Pico Negro and Casa Nostra restaurants were excellent with fantastic food and beverages. I ordered a Rib Eye steak in Pico, and I was not sure whether to eat or climb it (that big!) The evening entertainment at the Retama Lobby Bar was a eclectic mix of music, with the different nightly performances catering for most tastes. All the Staff were extraordinarily friendly, efficient and helpful throughout my stay. This is my second vacation at the hotel (and I am already booked for 2026!) so if you're looking for a relaxing adults-only escape with great views, solid food, and a touch of luxury, Melia Jardines del Teide delivers.

My friend and I stayed at the Melia Jardines del Teide for a week in August. We had the best time! The location was spectacular, the views are amazing and you can walk to the beach. We booked all inclusive but we didn't upgrade to The Level, which didn't look at all necessary. Their pool was situated strangely in the middle of the hotel near to the main restaurant, and the main pool had much better vibes. We are in our 30s and like to have a drink or two but also equally enjoy chilling by the pool and reading. We LOVED the sport activities they offered! Kevin, Elisa, and one other guy who I unfortunately can't remember (who had some amazing energy!!!) were super engaging and fun, and easily coaxed us into the pool every day for aqua fitness, underwater running, underwater cycling, dancing, etc. We also did a yoga class one evening which was exactly what we needed that night! The pool bar staff were fantastic--Bea, Alberto, Nico and Jesus were always smiling and full of banter during their non-stop demanding work..and were happy to let me practice my Spanish with them each day. The staff at the lobby bar were also great..they even remembered our nightly cocktail order out of all those guests. The evening entertainment was varied and much better than you would expect for hotel entertainment. The food was GREAT! So often the food in a hotel buffet can taste really bland and it can get boring after a week. I can't remember the last time I stayed somewhere and was this blown away by the food. The selection is huge, and you won't be able to try everything in a week. I am vegetarian and I really appreciated all the different vegetables they cooked, different pasta dishes, and especially the veggie paella they made a few times! The desserts were amazing, and the breakfast options were also never-ending. I think I counted 8 ways that they would make eggs. Hats off to all the kitchen staff because they put in some serious effort. The room was also great..beds were super comfortable and I think we had 3 huge pillows each. Everything was really clean, and the housekeeping staff did an amazing job and were also extremely friendly. Everyone at the reception was also totally delightful. They organized us a rental car for a day and it was dropped off and picked up from the hotel. All in all, everyone at this hotel seems really happy to be working there and that is super important to me. The grounds are beautiful, and there are so many people working hard each morning to keep that place looking beautiful. It was without a doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I will definitely be back! 10 out of 10!!

We visited Melia Jardines Del Teide in late September to get some late summer sun as a same sex couple from the UK. What we booked: We booked 10 days, Bed and Breakfast and opted for The Level. We booked bed and breakfast as we wanted to sample some of the many local restaurants in the area. We also opted for the level as we liked the idea of a smaller quieter pool, the use of the lounge area and the nibbles and drink options that were made available throughout the day. The Level: On reflection, while the Level perks were nice, the offering is a confusing proposition and really needs to be rethought by Melia. Drinks and food have to be consumed within the Level lounge which I found frustratingly bureaucratic given we’d paid for the food/drinks as part of the upgrade. The level pool is actually more overlooked than the main pool too, and the all inclusive guests that use the buffet at lunch time queue alongside that pool every lunch time. The main pool had a better vibe and was better served with amenities too. This is a site specific issue with Jardines Del Teide though. We did like the A La Carte breakfast option you get with the Level. We did sample the buffet breakfast on two occasions too. The Level Breakfast menu was a little limited for a 10 day stay, but you can configure what you like and the staff were very accommodating. A special mention to Jose and Cecilia (I can’t recall everyone’s names!) but all the staff were smiley and made mornings a real pleasure. The 4pm - 6pm drinks and tapas offering was also a nice thing, but similarly was frustrated by the ‘rules’ of the Level Lounge. The Circle: This is Melia’s ‘subscription scheme’ - but they also work around the hotel site all day to improve the guest experience. They acted like a concierge. We did have a sales pitch for the subscription, and while it wasn’t suitable for the kinds of holidays we take, I can see how it would work for people who like all inclusive breaks and have flexibility with holiday time. We did get a brilliant couples massage from Lana at the spa just for finding out more about Circle. Irrespective of our decision, the Circle team acted like an enhanced concierge during the stay. They arranged several events throughout our time, such as a cheese and wine tasting or a gin tasting experience, and there was entertainment in the afternoons too. A special shout out to Yasmin who gave us brilliant local insights that helped us plan a 2-day road trip all over the island, and to Toni - who not only ironed out a couple of little issues we had with the room with exceptional speed and ease, but was also really personable and engaging company during the stay. They made a huge difference - A big thank you! The hotel site: We loved the fact it was adults only, and that it’s spread out over a big site. It had a feeling of space and exclusivity. Summary: A lovely hotel, in a great spot. Clean, spacious with a great landscaping and surroundings. Fantastic team of staff. Consider mobility and location when booking. And make sure your board and room choices consider the hotel food options and external food facilities.

We stayed at this hotel with our family and were absolutely delighted! The service was impeccable, thanks especially to Jose at the reception who was very friendly and helpful. He solved all our request and did his best to make us happy. The food was amazing and varied, we appreciated the quality and quantity of the meals. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, every day we found our rooms clean and tidy. The view from the rooms was spectacular, we were able to enjoy the panorama every morning. But the real touch of class was Alessio, who helped us with our luggage and everyday with a smile, always very kind and professional. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to everyone. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality and kindness! Definitely coming back ! 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The hotel is an oasis, palm trees and lovely planting everywhere. The levels experience we went for was so worth the money for complimentary snacks and soft drinks alone, my husband enjoyed the drinks too! Finally and the most important call out is for all the staff, they are all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. I wanted to make a special call out to Patrick, the concierge. He was so helpful in recommending restaurants to suit our tastes, directing us to the local pharmacy when I was unwell and generally just a very helpful and friendly individual to speak too.

This was our second stay at the Meliá Jardines del Teide, and once again it did not disappoint! On arrival we were pleasantly surprised with vouchers for a complimentary bottle of wine and a cocktail as a thank you for returning – such a thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. Unlike our last visit, this time we really made the most of the exceptional daily classes on offer (all included at no extra cost). There are activities running all day, every day, so there’s always something to get involved in if you want to. We tried the Latin dance classes twice and the coffee workshop with Lucas, who was truly outstanding – so knowledgeable, engaging and fun. We also joined aqua fit with Fernando, who was just as fantastic. Both Lucas and Fernando are incredibly friendly, energetic and inclusive, making every class suitable for all abilities. We also joined the jewellery workshop run by Rosie, with Fernando assisting, and this was another highlight. They were brilliant at guiding us through the process, and we left with beautiful, unique glass necklaces as souvenirs – such a memorable experience. Evening entertainment is another strength of the hotel, with a varied programme of talented musicians and performers in a stunning setting with breathtaking views. Lucas and Fernando were again a big part of the fun, keeping everyone engaged and involved. As for food, while we can’t comment on the buffet restaurant as we stayed bed and breakfast, the breakfast itself was excellent – a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes. We also dined at Pico Negro restaurant twice during our stay and both meals were exceptional. The staff there were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the dishes, and made us feel so well looked after. The same can be said for the bar staff throughout the hotel – all of them are warm, professional, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We also noticed the benefits of The Level, but we never felt as though we were missing out by not booking this package, nor that we were treated any differently – which is a credit to how well all guests are looked after. At the pool, we’ve always been able to find sun loungers without a problem, which made our days there even more enjoyable. The only small negative we would mention is that the pool floor is starting to look a little tired, with some paint coming away at the bottom – hopefully something that can be refreshed soon. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and offers unbeatable views. However, it’s the staff who truly make this place special. From start to finish, every interaction was wonderful, and we honestly can’t recommend the classes, entertainment, or the hotel itself enough. We can’t wait to return again!

Labranda Bahía Fañabé & Villas is a charming whitewashed lodging with spacious 1-bedroom apartments, a restaurant, and a bar. The hotel offers an outdoor pool and is located just 7 minutes' walk from Fanabe Beach. The accommodation features comfortable beds, a lovely roof terrace, and friendly staff. Additionally, it provides amenities such as chaise longues, live music, and a golf course for guests to enjoy.
Had a great stay at Labranda Bahía Fañabé and Villas. Couldn’t fault anything other than the rooms were a bit tired as expected, however we hardly spent any time inside so barely noticed, we had a roof top terrace which was amazing and would definitely recommend having a room with one of these as it was very private, with great views and lots of sun. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, all inclusive buffet was great and there was always a good selection and plenty of food/puddings, unlimited drink selection was great, 3 pools to chose from all with plenty of sunbeds available, location was perfect and a short walk to everything you nee, beach, restaurants, shops etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, who provided a friendly and efficient reception. We were pleasantly informed that our room was ready earlier than expected, which was a nice convenience after a morning of travel! Our stay was booked on an all-inclusive basis, featuring buffet-style dining with an extensive selection of snacks and beverages available throughout the day. However, the buffet itself was somewhat underwhelming, offering a fairly small selection that, while acceptable, didn't quite meet our expectations. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, with a variety of activities, including karaoke, that we got involved in (after too many Love on the Beaches!). Our room was spacious, providing ample space for a comfortable stay. While the decor leaned towards a more traditional style, the furnishings were well-maintained. However, the double bed consisted of two single beds pushed together, which was less than ideal, though it did not significantly affect our overall enjoyment. The hotel's location was particularly convenient, situated approximately five minutes from the beach and the Costa Adeje market, adding an extra appeal to our visit. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to those seeking a quality experience at an affordable price, despite the buffet being a little disappointing.

The hotel has been excellent as well as the recepcionist Vincent, who has been friendly. The only problem we had it was that in the room there were different insects like ants and littles spiders. But the rest was perfectly fine. Pools and facilities were very clean. In the self-service and the buffet have been offered a lot of options of diverse drinks as sodas and wines; as well of traditional plates.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The food was tasty, although there was a lot of fish on the menu which isn’t really to our taste. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the entertainment was fun. The pool area was lovely, though it was a bit frustrating having towels left on the sun loungers. The location was fantastic, but be aware it can be quite noisy outside, so not the best spot if you’re hoping for a long lie-in.

Lovely hotel, food was a bit spotty for us but we have fussy eaters so it’s all prersonal preference. Rooms cleaned every other day. The animation team Aaron and Teddy were fantastic. Especially Aaron, friendly and made some amazing memories. Funny and lovely guy. Would 100% recommend Aaron to anyone looking at this hotel.

GF Fañabé is a 4-star hotel located in Costa Adeje, just a short distance from Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque and Casa Fuerte de Adeje Ruins. The hotel offers cozy rooms and suites with free breakfast and Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy the five swimming pools, including options for children and adults only. The property also features a spa offering massage treatments and Turkish bath facilities.
I have nothing but praise for this hotel - the staff are incredibly polite and helpful. Everywhere is clean. Rooms are large and spacious with aircon. Pool areas are lovely roof top adult only sunbathing is a bonus. Spa and facials are fantastic- small gym is great too. Food plenty of choice- we were able to swap evening meals for lunch which was so nice. We definitely want to return as our holiday here has been perfect.

The hotel overall is old-fashioned and needing updated. Our room was very dated, but was a good size & always kept clean (the maids do a great job). Daytime & main evening entertainment in the pool bar was a very good standard. We found the evening entertainment out the front of the hotel to be a very poor standard! One act was very rude to a guest. The guest & their family were very upset! I overheard the guest complaining to reception staff the next day, but the staff didn't look interested. Unfortunately the food was very basic, and not as much choice compared to all the other hotels we've stayed at in Tenerife. Some staff are very friendly and helpful, and others are rude and impolite. One evening, in the dining hall, whilst sitting eating dinner with my wife, I was approached by a restaurant manager and was told I must go to the reception to sort out an issue on my account. At least let me FINISH EATING DINNER before approaching me! If the food had been a better standard we might have considered returning! But there's too many better hotels in the area, so we won't be returning to GF Fanabe

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Fanabe, great pool areas, even one on the roof, never had problems finding sun loungers any day. Restaurant is very well ran and clean with the bonus of also having good food. Pool snacks also very good. Always entertainment on in both bar areas with loads of seating and table service from very helpful and fast staff. Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, but ours was always cleaned to a very high standard the whole holiday. Highly recommend a stay here if your looking for a relaxing time.

We spent a wonderful holiday at GF Fañabe. The staff were incredibly friendly, cheerful, professional, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. Every night the hotel organizes various activities — concerts, animations, and comedy shows. People laugh, dance, and truly enjoy their vacation. Downstairs there’s a place to play billiards, a small library with books, and a cozy spot for card games. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool, so finding a place to relax was never a problem. There is a car rental right next to reception for people interested in renting a car. The process of renting a car is extremely pleasant and fast - we had the car in 20 minutes after the booking. The meal organization was excellent — breakfast, lunch, and dinner were perfectly managed, and in between there was a snack bar open with sandwiches, yogurts, fruits, and sweets available all day. The rooms were spotless. The only small downside was the room décor, which felt a bit like the early 2000s. But apart from that — everything was perfect. It was such an amazing holiday that I actually cried when we were leaving.

Stayed here for 10 nights at the end of September. As others have noted, the decor is showing it's age but I believe a renovation is planned. Only did bed & breakfast but no complaints with the food. Cleaning staff were always polite and did a great job as were other staff were encountered. Plenty of sunbeds round the pool and up on the roof. Only issue is the steep hill back from the front but that's not the fault of the hotel.

We have just come back from a week family holiday (03.08.25-10.08.25) as soon as we arrived and went to the reception our room (111) was ready for us, the room was big and spacious with air con and a balcony, the beds were quite comfy, we also had the park view with side pool view. The mini fridge we had didn’t really keep our drinks cold but we did get someone to come to have a look. Our room was cleaned everyday and the towels were changed daily as well. We did have a room tab so we could either top up with euros or pay at the end of stay, this was quite handy as not many hotels do this. The pools were a decent size (2 shallow ones for smaller children and a fair size one) there was also a roof top pool for adults only, I must say the sun beds were all taken before 8:30 as I would see people putting their towels on them and when we went down there were no available. The food at the restaurant wasn’t great (I’m a fussy eater)but my daughter and husband did enjoy some of the food, some of the meat section wasn’t cooked properly as there were some pink parts still inside the food, dessert selection was ok. Breakfast wasn’t great at all so we didn’t go down at all during our stay. There is a nice restaurant across the road from the hotel called Babushka they do English and Scottish food, we did go there most mornings and we did enjoy the food. I must say we did meet a lovely lady called Sara who were serving us drinks at the bar we would see her most days 😊 Entertainment for kids and the adults were good. There was also some arcades and spa on the lower level of the hotel with a small gift shop and hair salon on the ground level. There is a little play park, football pitch, mini golf and a zip wire for the kids. We did visit Play de la Americas via the train that takes you on a tour this cost us €42 return (this was for 3 people) we also visited the Costa Adeje Market on Thursday (it does open on a Saturday as well) they had plenty of stalls with some lovely gifts to bring home. We did go to Fanabe beach where you can hire jet skis paddle boats and do other activities, we hired a paddle boat with slide this cost us €25 for the hour, my daughter enjoyed herself on this. We did get stopped by a lady who was doing a marketing survey along the beach front for families who were visiting Tenerife we got asked to pick a card and reveal the prize we won, it was a bottle of Rose wine, my daughter also was able to pick a card and she managed to reveal one of the top prizes, €120, a Samsung fold tablet or a holiday, we did go back the following day and when she opened her card it was the holiday 😀 I couldn’t believe we had one this (we are never that lucky to win anything) Overall the holiday was lovely and would recommend to other families 👍🏻

Just got back after a wonderful week there Rooms were spacious ( family room) and were cleaned daily and towels changed daily. The cleaner was thorough in cleaning to a spotless standard. All staff friendly and pleasant. Food was pretty good and a good variety. Pools clean . We were half board , you pay for evening drinks on card or charge to room no cash payment except for the little shop Only drawback is if you want sunbeds somewhere people there from 0530 and all gone by 0730 all left unattended with towels on . That didn't bother us as we went out for the day and returned later and had no problems getting one then. There's a separate small pool behind for little ones .

Dear GF fanabe. This is an update to the review I posted 3 days ago from room 126. I can only say thank you to your team and jet2 rep (chris) for your rapid response and professionalism in dealing with my gripe. Well done 👏. Visited restaurant again and enjoyed the fruits and yogurt selection you provided. Only had coffee and cake at lunchtime which was nice . Oh cafe con leche from machine is the best I've tasted in tenerife after many visits to this brilliant island. So again I applaud you. Hotel is fantastic . And as I said in last post i will come here again. Staff are first class. (Will and Lenin on roof top bar ) in particular. Too many to name .( Martha on housekeeping also) still my only gripe is evening meals for British customers. Not enough variety. No things like fish and chips, steak pie, or Sunday roast. Just some ideas for the team. Again I will be back but on a bed and breakfast basis only as I spent over 300 euros eating out when I shouldn't need to. So I'm keeping one star as compensation. 😂

GF Isabel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife is a 4-star family-friendly resort offering warm apartments, bungalows, and villas surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Canarian-style complex features spacious grounds with two outdoor pools and a water park for kids. Guests can enjoy buffet dining and take advantage of amenities such as heated swimming pools, Jacuzzi, sauna facilities, and an indoor pool.
We can confidently give this hotel 5 stars. When we arrived, we had one unpleasant surprise – a cockroach in the room – but reception immediately gave us another clean room. The food was good and fresh, rooms were always clean with fresh towels, and any issues were quickly solved. The kids loved the evening disco and shows. As for the gym – just ask for a card at reception and you can use it for your whole stay. We also loved that the hotel even had a little house for the cats living around, cared for and fed by the staff – a big plus in our opinion. After checking out, we still had access to clean towels, showers, and could leave our luggage in the designated area (at our own responsibility). The hotel has its own clear rules – for example, the pool was open from 10am to 6pm, and large inflatable boats were not allowed. Overall, we are very satisfied and the hotel is worth its price.

Only stayed bed and breakfast. Room clean and had kitchen facilities, dining table, very clean, reviews stated dated which it is but all round very good stay. The video is of a little know area around the adults jacuzzi. Which was right below our room, wasnt used very much. Was a little gem as the activities in the pool were on a lot and seemed to be enjoyed by all ages and more than any other hotel ive stayed in last 3 years, so well done to the entertainments team. We were just on our own so to have an area child free was really good. Downside steep steps up to the jacuzzi, and saw people lifting,in and out of the main pool, people living with disabilities as no pool lift on site. The showers are powerful, hairdryer good, shower gel, shampoo, tissues, little bag of washing up and scrubber for the sink, microwave, big fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, you would need filters, juicer, Air con worked a little too well at night but had blankets, sheets, covers, extra pillows, Daily housekeeping. Only real bug bear was the t.v. loads of channels but only one in english was sky news and that was it!! No doubt allocated a room for non english speakers but not even radio, forgot my firestick, it wasnt a dmsrt t.v. so couldnt stream, this did not however ruin anything, just to mention it for advise really. Food at breakfast was poor, beef sausages, fatty continental style bscon, egg powder scrambled, its chaotic and pooly designed, back and fowrward for tea, pots, coffee, cups, glasses, I was exhasted when finally sat down, tables are grouped all together so you are in and out of others going all over the place, not like the fanabe or gran, or any of the other hotels in the area really, going to the toilet during meals also, you have to walk out, all the way through the courtyard and back on yourself, just to come all the way back again, even when i had a seat next to an open side door with a rope across it, i ducked under and came back, got shouted at!!! Would I stay again, yes but id go room only if it was cheaper, the deal we had was breakfast included so made no difference really, dont drink the coffee out of the machines, its awful, they have flasks of it near to where you get the eggs, but be warned its good but not hot, there is a microwave right at the back, which i used to heat it up!! She didnt see me so i didnt get shouted at for that at least!!

Amazing value. Excellent service. Spotless clean. Gardens well maintained. Large spread out site so never feels crowded. My only complaint is it is hard to find your way. It’s a big complex and there are no maps up on the walls to show where you are and what lifts to use if you are unable to use stairs. Could easily be resolved by putting signs up next to each lift showing where this one goes and where the other lifts are if you need to go to a different place. Great animation team who ran free activities with enthusiasm every day. Bingo, exersize classes etc including some games I had never seen before. Plus there is free activities you can use including pool & table tennis tables, darts and small mini golf. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Yes I agree with the other review that the sausages are not great but the eggs and egg dishes were fine. And there was big selection of breads, fruit etc. Location is slightly inland and like most hotels here does require walking down and back up the steep hill to the beach. But there is supermarkets and nice restaurants nearby. I must confess to trying the Elvis impersonation in bar next door which was fun!

Disappointing return to what was once a favourite hotel. We stayed at GF Isabel Tenerife in September and were sadly very disappointed with our experience this time around. My parents had specifically requested for all of us to be placed in the main hotel area due to my dad’s disability and mobility issues, but upon arrival, we were allocated rooms at the furthest end of the complex. Despite our request to be moved together, only my parents could be accommodated — the rest of us had to stay behind. Our air conditioning didn’t work at all throughout our 10-day stay. We reported it to reception and were told someone would come to look at it, but it was never fixed. The room itself was very tired and dated, with door frames hanging off and, to top it off, we found a cockroach in our clothes while packing to leave. The bathroom was worn and in clear need of refurbishment. The food was extremely disappointing. We experienced raw steaks and jelly-like undercooked turkey, which honestly made me feel ill. Dishes were mislabeled, and the buffet area was overcrowded and chaotic, with food often lukewarm at best. The pool bar wasn’t much better — food there was often either overcooked or underdone. Even the courtesy shower rooms on checkout day were poor; the shower head didn’t attach to the wall, and the hair dryer didn’t work. While many staff members were friendly, others were not particularly welcoming. It’s such a shame because we stayed here 7 years ago and absolutely loved it, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Although we still enjoyed our family holiday together, we wouldn’t return to GF Isabel in its current condition.

Fantastic hotel, really enjoyed our stay here. Apartments alttle tired around the furnishings but absolutely spotless as was the rest of the complex. Air con not the best but it's better in some rooms as our daughters room was lovely and cool . Staff very friendly only seen 1 that looked grumpy but she was very efficient I'm her job so maybe just focusing on getting people to the right table rather than smiling.

Stayed here for 3 weeks in September 25. Myself and partner would like to thank the staff for all their hard work. We Stayed in bungalow 543 which had a lovely pool veiw and was cleaned and serviced to a high standard every day by the maid service. We were all inclusive and food and drinks were great. Never ate a mediocre or cold meal unless it was salad or ice cream ofcourse 😋 Thanks for a great holiday.

I stayed at the GF Isabel Hotel in Costa Adeje from 9th–16th September and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so pleasant, always greeting you with a smile and a hello as you passed. The attention to detail with the maintenance of the hotel was excellent. Each morning you could see staff working hard, whether it was cleaning the grounds, cutting the grass, or carrying out painting, which really showed how well-kept the hotel is. A special mention has to go to Alexander, the Guest Relations Manager, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. On our first night, as we arrived late, he went above and beyond by helping us get pizza from a local takeaway. At checkout, he took the time to chat with us about Tenerife and shared stories about growing up in Miami, Florida, which really made us feel valued as guests. We stayed in one of the one-bedroom bungalows, which was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. It was a great space to relax in after a day out. For sunbathing, we used the smaller pool near the kids’ club, which was much quieter than the main pool and almost felt like a hidden gem that many people seemed to overlook. It was perfect for a more peaceful experience. We booked bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was very nice with a good selection. Being able to sit outside in the morning sun while enjoying breakfast was a real highlight. The entertainment was what you would expect from a hotel. Some nights I really enjoyed it, and other nights less so, though plenty of guests seemed to be having a great time regardless. The hotel reception was excellent for ordering taxis. Each time we requested one, it arrived within minutes. Getting to Siam Park and Las Americas was quick and easy by taxi, and the fares were very reasonable. The location is excellent, not too busy in September but close enough to everything you would want. There are two Hiperdino supermarkets nearby, the Costa Adeje strip with its restaurants, bars, and live music is just a 10 minute walk away, and The Duke Shops are also very close, offering a good mix of dining and shopping options. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at GF Isabel. Great service, comfortable accommodation, and a lovely atmosphere. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Just back from a week here with my husband. We stayed at the Gran last year, but due to refurbishment had to pick elsewhere. We weren't dissapointed. This is a lovely hotel, and huge. We we're B&B, and something for everyone. Main pool area was good. I can see possibly in peak summer sunbeds may be an issue, but we certainly always got 2 no problem. We were in a Bungalow and it was very spacious. Drinks reasonably priced. Good location. Looking to book next year with our teenager.

HOVIMA Costa Adeje - For Cool Adults is a laid-back hotel in Adeje, offering comfortable rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi. The property features outdoor pools, two restaurants, and a spa for guests to enjoy massages, body treatments, and facials. Situated just a minute's drive from Fanabe Beach and five minutes from Siam Park, this beach hotel also offers recreational amenities such as outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor tennis court, and a fitness center.
Just returned from an incredible 10-day stay at this hotel, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. The staff were outstanding—warm, welcoming, and always happy to chat, which made the stay feel extra personal. The food was consistently delicious and varied enough that we never got bored. Entertainment each night was top-notch—we genuinely looked forward to the shows. The pools and gym facilities were fantastic, and we had no trouble finding sunbeds at any time of day, which was a big plus. Our room (309) was cleaned to a very high standard daily—huge thanks to the housekeeping team for maintaining such a spotless environment. While there were a few minor maintenance issues in the room, they didn’t take away from the overall comfort or enjoyment. All in all, a truly wonderful holiday—made even better by the incredible staff and excellent food. Would definitely return!

Excellent hotel, just back from a week long holiday here and it was amazing! The entertainment team are great and there’s always something on in the evening which is so fun!! The buffet is so good for every meal, and there’s a snack bar by the pool too. We had an evening in the a la carte restaurant which was really good as well. Never struggled to get a bed by the pool and it was so refreshing in the heat. In a great location too, lots of shops and bars on the doorstep as well as the beach. We will be back!

Very nice hotel. Smart, modern, and clean with good attentive service. Rooms could be a bit more luxurious with comfier beds and satellite tv, at least with Netflix, etc. Air conditioning is more of a fan than actual temperatures. Food: Good standard, but the choices are not huge. Location: You can see the sea, but it's a bit of a walk down various steps and slopes to the beach itself. Entertainment: Fun, light hearted abd varied, but the quality could be improved upon. The furniture in the theatre area is like plastic garden furniture. Overall: A nice experience, but a lot could be improved upon.

The Hovima is a very friendly and clean hotel. They always tried their best to accommodate any queries; However the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve slept in for a while. We asked to change room but were offered a mattress topper. This didn’t make any difference so I added two duvets to the mattress. If made it slightly more bearable but still not what I’d call comfortable. The food was mediocre. Nothing special. The sun-beds were so comfortable but you have to pay a deposit for a towel (you get this back at the end of your stay). The pool bar was always stocked with food, drinks and ice cream. The staff were so lovely. Very pleasant and very accommodating. The pool opens at 8:30 and there was never a mad rush for a bed. You could always find one. There’s an excellence package which I believe costs €120 per day. You get a luxury room. Your own pool and your own part of the restaurant to sit in. The entertainment was always busy and the other patrons were very chatty and friendly. Would I come back here? I don’t think so but glad I experienced this hotel.

Just came back from a 7 night stay and it was incredible. The highlight has to be the entertainment team! They were so incredibly friendly managing to speak multiple languages so everyone could be involved. They also put on so many activities that you can participate in aimed for everyone. The food was also amazing such a wide selection at all meal times and also throughout the day in the snack bar. The rooms were clean and air conditioned and it’s in a good location to the beach! Will definitely be returning in the future

First off, and most important to us is wheelchair accessibility..5 stars for this alone..all areas, game zones are fully accessible. We are in room 107 which is particularly handy for access to dining area and ramps to bring us down to the pool areas. The food is amazing, not only in the Ocean a la carte restaurant (my favourite is the asian night!) but also in the main dining room..in over 2 weeks of our stay we have not had a bad dish or a meal we did not enjoy. Mickey and the animation team are amazing and imho set this hotel on a standard way above other hotels. Imagine walking into a hotel a year after your last visit to find that they remember your name, where you are from etc. Nice one guys. And its not just them - ALL the staff are super friendly at the least, and in a lot of cases soo funny and witty I consider them as a 2nd animation team. All the staff along with top notch food and the constant cleaning and maintanence makes this one of the best holiday we've been on. Bravo tutti !

This is my first time and partners second time at this hotel and it did not disappoint! We are in room 713 after getting an upgrade! The rooms are amazing with a very spacious bathroom and balcony area. The staff are amazing, entertainment team especially. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the beach, if that. A perfect view of the mountains and the beach. Just an amazing hotel with amazing staff, we will definitely be back!!!

Room 330 This is our 3rd visit to Hovima. We were very disappointed to find the infinity pool is exclusive to excellence guests only, every year we have sat there and there was never any issue. We’re with elderly parents who like the peace and quiet there and find it easier to get to the restaurant without having to walk very far, for this reason they will not return, and has also made us think twice about coming back,It seems such a waste as we’ve been here neatly two weeks and haven’t seen anyone in the pool and an average of about 8 beds being used! We can’t fault the Micky and entertainment team, they’re amazing as always. The rooms are kept very clean, the only downside is lack of plug sockets, especially next to the bed and a mirror on the wall would be good like the superior rooms have. All the staff have been amazing and a special mention to Aldo and John on the front desk. Some of the acts are a bit dated now and could maybe do with some more modern artists! Many thanks

With 376 rooms offering sea views, the hotel is situated near various attractions including Ghe Pel Ling Canarias Buddhist Temple and 'Magma Art and Congress Centre.'
Such an amazing place to stay! The staff go above and beyond and are so good with kids! They adored my little boy and always made a fuss of him. The view is incredible, especially when there’s a sunset. You can see pretty much everything, we constantly watched boats and different activities. The view of the volcano is incredible. The pool is huge, it included a shallow closed off area for children/babys, which was extremely clean. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and clean. Overall the hotel is beyond amazing and me and my family will 100% be coming back.

Was slightly apprehensive prior to arriving but shouldn't have been. Apart from being up a steep hill over the motorway the apartments are fantastic value for money. Rooms very clean. Beds changed every other day. Comfortable beds and large balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for you. Pool large and clean plenty of sunbeds. Taxi only 5 euros from the bars so no need to walk the hill. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant holiday, This hotel is ideal for families in mind. Very friendly and professional staff, able to help every time. Security always on hand to help, Buffet breakfast is a must! Huge pool kids love it! Amazing parrot show in the entertainment area, located next to Aqualand. I was scared reading other reviews however I can honestly say, I did not see a single insect in the apartment next to the pool - Wish we could stay longer and will definitely be back soon! Thank you Laguna park 2, we had the best first family holiday! x

I can certainly help you draft a review incorporating the points we've discussed. Here’s a version you can tailor to fit the specific platform and your overall experience: Title: Shocking Health Hazards and Broken Promises - A Stay to Forget Review: I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience at Laguna Park 2, which was marred by severe health hazards and a complete lack of integrity from the management. My stay was significantly impacted by a cockroach infestation in my room, posing unacceptable health and safety risks. Upon reporting this to the front desk manager, Christie, I was assured that a full refund would be processed due to the severity of the issue. However, upon returning home, I received an email from the general manager denying this agreement and attempting to deflect blame onto a minor issue regarding a scooter. This is a blatant misrepresentation of the facts. The primary reason for my dissatisfaction was the unhygienic and unsafe condition of the room. The claim that I refused a room change is also false. Given the extent of the infestation, simply moving rooms would not have resolved the underlying issue. The management’s attempt to downplay the situation and renege on their initial agreement is unprofessional and unethical. I strongly advise potential guests to consider other options. This hotel clearly prioritizes profits over the health and safety of its guests, and their word cannot be trusted.

I’ll be honest this is a great budget friendly holiday hotel. But that’s it staff are helpful and friendly. It’s always clean, the pool is a great size but is a salt water pool. Rooms are abit on the old side water is slow no fan or remote but you can rent them. The beds are not comfortable. No WiFi unless your sat in reception so get a esim. Food for breakfast is average nothing special. The walk to breakfast is a little tiring but you get a beautiful sunrise view in the way. I had no problems here parking was easy, staff were friendly and the room was clean but this is my honest review this is a 2** and budget friendly hotel. Designed for under 25 or budget family trips

Mixed review here- this hotel is very cheap and defo great for families / people on a budget. I will start with the negatives and end with the positives - of corse please be mindful this is only my opinion- I have stayed here twice- once in 2017 and again in 2025. I will do a honest review comparing both stays. Negatives- •It is up a really steep hill- location is not very ideal (but close to aqualand) taxis up from the beach are around 7€ • food is not the best (even since my stay in 2017) •the room i stayed this time (1bed apartment) was really small, uncomfortable beds, rusty bath, very out dated and needed a good lick of paint and a clean up, however back in 2017 i had a 2bed apartment the experience was very different and all positive about the room (comparing to a budget and not 5star of course) •the extra bed in the room was a piece of wood and a thin matteress. •entertainment is non existent on a weekend which is a shame. •no air con - they do offer a fan hire at 20€ deposit (i think) and im sure it was like 15€ for 3 days. All though the fans were rubbish and blew warm air out, on their fastest spin it was like having a standard uk 16” fan on setting 1. •the whole areas like pool, slopes etc need a good lick of paint and sprucing up abit, nothings changed since 2017 just got worse. •sun loungers not the best- just standard lay down ones, cant adjust the back. •wifi is only in public areas and not very good. Pros- •cheap to stay and cheap all inclusive upgrade 23€ per adult per day and children half price! •they were quick to rectify the un-comfy spare bed and brought us another mattress to put on it. •staff and guests are friendly and welcoming (both times ive stayed) •the pool area is big enough to enjoy and there is a park just behind it. •no sun-bed wars (both times) •aqualand in walking distance •cleaners come round every 2 days to clean the rooms. •reception very helpful. I have stayed in both laguna park 1 and 2 and i would rather pay that little bit extra and stay in laguna park1 , it is nicer and better location, plus entertainment there is every night including weekends.

Mixed opinions, very cheap and good if you are on a budget. But the location is really not good, you have to walk for around 20 minutes and cross over a motorway to get anywhere. We stayed for 5 days and our room only got cleaned once, our fan also broke and no one came to fix it. At night there was a massive amount of cockroaches around the rooms and stairs. They stop the all inclusive food and drinks at 22:30. The food is okay but we chose to eat out and use taxis.

What a lovely place . Not gonna moan about the hills etc as it expected plus taxi was just 3 euros and rank right outside. Supermarket on site also .big apartments , 55 inch tv with English channels allwaya bonus big balcony with great view rooms were cleaned daily also 👌 pool is massive with plenty of sun loungers for all , food was good value for money id say except the breakfast. In house entertainer was good fun for adults and children staff very helpful and security on doors 24 hours . Very happy stay 👌

AluaSoul Costa Adeje is a contemporary hotel offering comfortable accommodation in the entertainment neighborhood of Costa Adeje. The hotel features two restaurants, two bars, and three pools, as well as a spa with Turkish baths. It is conveniently located within walking distance to El Duque Castle and Siam Park, making it suitable for various activities such as archery, table tennis, and billiards. Additionally, the hotel offers wellness facilities including beauty therapy and manicure services.
We had a wonderful stay at AluaSoul Hotel – it really ticked all the boxes. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-maintained throughout our visit. The hotel has a modern feel and is clearly looked after with care. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of options including freshly made omelettes and eggs to order. It was also great to see how hard the staff worked to keep everything clean – plates and tables were cleared quickly and efficiently, making the whole dining experience feel calm and organized. The pool area was always clean with plenty of sunbeds available, and we really appreciated the policy of not allowing sunbed reservations for more than 30 minutes. It meant we never had to rush down early – we could go to the pool whenever we wanted and still find a spot. One of the highlights was the peaceful, adults-only atmosphere. No kids running around or touching food at the buffet made a real difference and added to the relaxing vibe. The bar staff were friendly and always had a smile, making the evenings even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend booking bed and breakfast with My Favorite Club – the central location means you’re just a short walk from loads of great restaurants and bars, perfect if you want to explore beyond the hotel. The all-inclusive lunch and dinner buffets looked decent for what they are, but with so many fantastic dining options nearby, it’s nice to have the flexibility. All in all, a brilliant stay. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently stayed at Alua soul Costa Adeje for 10 days with my partner and although we had a great holiday there were aspects of the holiday that we found very disappointing. As we had previously stayed at an Alua soul in Majorca (which was amazing) we expected a similar experience , unfortunately this was not the case. The hotel was immaculate and all staff we met were friendly and helpful. The room was great with air con that was much needed. Cleaners did a great job and would clean daily if required. Additionally, we always received a bottle of water once ours ran out. Only criticism is a lack of coat hangers but that is the same in most hotels. The pool was lovely and clean, plenty of beds and umbrellas. The pool opened at 9am and some people started queuing about 8.30am, however we never struggled to get a bed. We went all-inclusive and this is what we found quite disappointing. The pool bar was always understaffed, although the staff did their best, we always had to wait for the drinks and food. The menu is quite limited with what is included in all inclusive (both drinks and food at the snack bar) and if we wanted to order anything not included, we would have to pay for it at a reduced price – seems to defeat the object of it being an all-inclusive holiday. The major disappointment for us was the evening meal – the food was very limited and very repetitive so after a few days we got bored eating in the restaurant. On top of this, there was no air conditioning in the hotel lobby areas or the restaurant, so it was excruciating trying to sit and eat a meal. It became a case of getting in and out as quickly as possible in order to cool down. We did complain about this, as the restaurant and bar staff – as lovely as they were – were clearly uncomfortable in the heat and commented to us how hard it was to work in these conditions. Similarly, although the hotel has pool tables, table tennis, darts and a screen for the football, due to lack of air conditioning it was impossible to participate in any of them. Consequently, we ended up eating out for half of the holiday, which isn't ideal when you have paid a lot of money to be all inclusive. You are not expecting additional costs. The entertainment was not great – in the day the 2 reps would do the usual pool Zumba and volleyball etc. but it was difficult to hear them on the microphone, and they only really interacted if you spoke to them. Similarly, at night, there would be a quiz at 9pm and then usually a singer until 10.30pm and then that would be the end of the evening. I have to say though, that both reps were really nice when you approached them and clearly, they were in a difficult position as you sensed that a lot of the guests did not want to engage in any activities, and some even complained about the noise. There is only one bar open at night, which is inside, with no air conditioning and it is very short staffed so constantly queuing for a drink. The bar opens until midnight, but all-inclusive drinks stop at 11pm and you are then expected to pay for drinks. Not enough tables and chairs outside of an evening. All in all, we did have a good holiday, and the position of the hotel is great – right next to the beach and all the bars. Top tip – down the stairs by the pool is a gate to the bars with a great sports bar – the Drunken Striker – on your doorstep which shows all the football games. The room and staff were great, I think if we were to return, we would just book bed and breakfast and spend our money going out of an evening

Solo trip that cost over £1k for 3 full days, 4 nights including flights. Rooms are nice and very clean. Most staff are friendly. However, food was literally 2 star. I couldn’t decipher what the food was supposed to be particularly for lunch and dinner. Not expecting luxury food in a 4 star in Europe. Very repetitive menus, very limited offerings and either overcooked (eg scrambled eggs in morning, veg at meals) undercooked (eg Mousakka with hard potatoes), or unidentifiable and so fearful to eat. Basic food can be done well. All inclusive drinks and snacks were most basic package I’ve ever had. One of each wine. Only draft beer, a couple of cocktails. No nuts or crisps given with food. Empty mini bar etc. I’ve never experienced anything as basic. I definitely felt I lost money on this trip. On first night arrived late and was put in a very noisy room overlooking a bar with loud music. Asked to be moved and was told they couldn’t look at it till the following day. So I went down to reception and they funnily found one that was quiet. Recommend asking for a quiet room if you’re there to rest. And doing half board. WiFi also wouldn’t work for me beside the pool. Was fine in main hotel so I had to pay for my data- which then made access fine- so was clearly a WiFi issue on the hotels part which was denied. Felt like there was no aircon in the lobby so was extremely hot when there and this was in October. Food examples in picture

A very clean and friendly hotel, maids came around pretty late in the day for us so meant we could lie in without worry of missing them. We stayed half board which was great, breakfast had a vast selection. Its also a pretty central location for getting out and about in the day/evening.

Our stay at AluaSoul was superb. The hotel is well equipped with everything you need on site, very clean, but most of all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and seemed to remember each guest and their preferences personally which made the stay that bit more comfortable. We spent a week there and were in and out at all times of day for meals, drinks, activities, and to use the pool or gym; no matter what time, there was everything you need without too many crowds and with enough staff members to help with what you need. It is well-located amongst bars and shops and very close to the beach so it's a perfect base to explore the island. If I was to come back to Tenerife, I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

Pleasant hotel to stay in Costa Adeje. We had a very good time, the staff is very friendly and professional. We enjoyed our room ( with ocean view) on the 08th. floor. There is some noise around the hotel, but this was not disturbing us. Also well located to go for a walk (and drink) near the beaches from Costa Adeje to Playa de Las Américas, or visiting Playa de los Christianos. If we come back to Tenerife (again), we will consider to return to Alua Soul Costa Adeje :)

Hotel was lovely although we had a problem with Termites in the bathroom, they changed our room but to one not quite as nice and with a worse view. The food wasn’t very good we paid for all inclusive and ended up eating out every day, there was only 4/5 cocktails actually available on the all inclusive menu too. The location is perfect and beach is only a 3/4 min walk down the hill. They also have a spa downstairs which you have to pay for but is amazing!

HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel in Adeje, Costa Adeje is a relaxed and family-friendly hotel offering laid-back apartments with ocean views. The hotel features pools, a restaurant, and entertainment options for guests. With its prime beachfront location, the hotel provides easy access to the golden sandy beach and offers amenities such as an outdoor pool, waterslide, and children's playground.
We had a wonderful family holiday at Hovima La Pinta with our 2 and 3 year old. A few call outs: -the entertainment team were great, the range of activities and things our kids got to experience was amazing -Daniel was great, destined to own the microphone -Lisa was very sweet with our little one and we saw her going out her way to check in on a disabled teenager which was nice -Our daughter really bonded with Nuria in the baby room. She plaited her hair and arranged for her to do all the kids club activities (as they weren’t meant for the baby room) -the room was perfect, great size and the cleaners did a great job -the mini disco and shows absolutely captivated our kids My only small points for improvements would be more fresh fruit in the restaurant, as most of it is tinned. And the room doors automatically unlock when you open them from the inside. This was a bit of a concern as our 2 and 3 year old were opening it on their own, so we had to barricade it shut. Overall we had an amazing time, lovely memories made. Would highly recommend.
Katie K — Google review
I chose this hotel primarily for its kid-friendly amenities, and I must say it met expectations in that regard. There are several conveniences for children: a small club with a soft playground, an outdoor water park, sport pitch and a tiny playground crammed into a corner, featuring a few attractions mainly for little ones. The location is also great, with easy access to a public beach. However, the overall standard and quality of the hotel leave much to be desired. The rooms are decorated with little imagination and feel cramped, as if everything has been stuffed into small spaces. The food in the general restaurant was rather mediocre—typical mass catering with many deep-fried options and a lack of seasoning. On the plus side, the staff is friendly, especially those working with the kids, which is definitely a highlight. I would recommend this hotel to families with children, but be warned that it can feel a bit chaotic like a beehive. It might drive you a bit crazy if you’re looking for peace and quiet!

A wonderful family stay! Hovima La Pinta exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right by the beach, and the views from the room were stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thanks to Noemi for helping us with room issue. The food was varied and of good quality, and the entertainment team kept both kids and adults engaged. We felt very welcome and relaxed. Highly recommended for families!

Just got back from 10 days all inclusive. Arrived to being told our room was on sixth floor which was fine but lifts only go to floor 4 not good with 6 cases. Never changed our bedding in the 10 days (advertised to being changed every 3-4 days). The food was not good. Wanted omelette for breakfast had to pay extra (we were all inclusive) had to pay for ice creams too. We queried the food choices and was told chef would cook us some chicken. We we're served with 2 pieces of chicken for 6 of us and when we cut into it it was raw. I will say the hotel had some silly rules regarding the pool but we got over that. The hotel was in a good location and if I did go back to the area we would not go all inclusive as there are plenty of lovely restaurants around to eat at (we tried a few of them) and are reasonably priced

Do not recommend this hotel. Hotel and rooms need a serious update. Broken glass in elevators. Needs money invested. Food selection poor, semi- warm usually & limited and we have ended up eating out instead. We had to have the kitchenette bug sprayed on arrival as there were ants crawling about the kitchen. A room change was offered but the spray seemed to help. Beds very hard- provided with a mattress topper. Booked based off the "children's facilities" stating on Jet2 website "soft play area" being one of the facilities on offer for 6 months to 3 years. The rules on who can use this area seemed to change over night. On trying to go into the soft play we were refused entry and told the rules had changed and now it was over 4 only. Got speaking to another family who had the same issue, even though the day before they were able to enter with their 2 year old no problem. Some staff seemed to be aware of this sudden rule change while others aren't. This family also complained to reception. In the space of one day, the sign which stated that under 3 could enter accompanied by an adult was taken down and then on entry refused. Manager not much use on clarifying this issue and couldn't really explain why the sign was taken down. There is a pretty rubbish "baby area" with a soft-ish ground. Manager went on to tell me this referred to the soft play area for under 3- as the ground is soft. However, couldn't explain why under 3 were allowed in the soft play room the previous day and then the sign suddenly removed. Stood with my son in tears looking into the soft play area. Rooms basic. Bathrooms in superior rooms very very small. Location good- would be better if I choose a better hotel in the area. Pretty poor hotel all in. Don't recommend. Not up to usual 4 star standards. Looks good in photos online. Disappointed to have booked it when I saw the others (in person) on offer near by.

At the hotel, the food was very good, rooms were cleaned daily, the reception staff was lovely, one of the receptionists was Polish - Kate - a very nice and helpful woman. The entire hotel staff took care of the guests, they were kind, warm-hearted, and smiling. Mr. Adam - the Rainbow Resident - a professional person in the right position, friendly, helpful, caring towards people, with enormous knowledge about Tenerife. If only there were more residents like him!! We recommend both the excursions, the atmosphere, and the stay in Costa Adeje, Tenerife.

I stayed here around 2 weeks ago with my family for a week and I really enjoyed my experience. The staff were all so kind and friendly especially Nancy in the restaurant. The food selection was great, suitable for all types of eaters. Our room had a nice view of the sea and was spotless too. The kids club had loads of activities suitable for all age groups, even adults. The pool was taken care of well and we never had trouble getting sun-beds, no matter what time of the day it was. If you’re looking for a hotel in Adeje this is definitely the hotel to go to, it ticks all of the right boxes and is worth the price you pay.

Just arrived home from our first holiday at this hotel and I’m so happy we chose to stay here. The animation team are truly wonderful!! Felt absolutely no pressure to join in with any activities but were always given the option and they were so good with the children. Lisa, Daniel and David went out their way to build up a relationship with us over the week which made it feel like we were seeing friends every day. The mini club and disco were perfect for our daughter, a shame the dance floor isn’t bigger! We went with our 4 year old and 7 week old baby, it was never an issue to get water for our baby’s feeds, Alejandro at the pool bar made our lives very easy and nothing was too much trouble for him. The hotel is absolutely spotless, although our bedding wasn’t changed the entire week which would have been nice. Our room had the main bedroom with a travel cot set up and then the sofa bed for our 4 year old but had a fair size gap either side and at the back so decided to swap as we didn’t want her to get stuck down them! All in all we had the best time and hope to return next year.

We had a great vacation during the Christmas period. Special thanks to Cecile who helped us a lot the first days. Hotel is perfect located with lots of shops, restaurants etc. Only the restaurant is very long and small entrance, so therefor lot of people during breakfast/diner. But a good asortiment. We will be back in the future.

This hotel is situated in a great location close to bars, restaurants, the beach, and amenities. The apartment stayed in was large enough with a good sized living area and small open plan kitchen a good sized bedroom with plenty of storage (however lacking in drawers) a nice bathroom with walk in shower. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels and linen twice a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Although the restaurant serves buffet style the food is tasty and with plenty of choice. The only downside we found was the view from the terrace was not great looking onto the back of the apartments in front. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Stayed at Lagos de Fañabé, Costa Adeje, May 27–29. Left after one night. The room had cockroaches and bugs, and the second room they gave me was just as bad. I ended up sleeping in my car — that should tell you everything. Staff were useless. Reception and reservations couldn’t handle basic complaints. The manager hid and never called me back. I was told I couldn’t get a refund for the nights I didn’t stay — even though the “non-refundable” policy wasn’t shown during booking. Hotel is filthy, overpriced, and completely mismanaged. Food looked bad, service was worse. If you’re coming to Tenerife to relax, avoid this place at all costs.

This is such a fabulous resort in a perfect location right on the beach and in a very nice area of Adeje. The resort is 5 star ⭐️ from the pool areas, sun loungers and bars are excellent. Our apartment has two bedrooms a modern bathroom, kitchen, living area and balcony - all modern and tip top condition. We are on half board and so far the food and drinks are amazing ❤️

It was a very clean place. Receptionist, cleaners, kitchen staff, all super nice and friendly. Felt very welcomed. Super easy access to the business near the main st as well as the strip along the beach. Room had everything you need. Microwave, fridge, etc. Balcony has a sun awning to cover up when it gets too hot outside. Food for breakfast was pretty good too. Chef will make you an omlette. Will definitely use again if I return to Tenerife.

Room in a terrible condition. Mold in the bathroom, old equipment, old and uncompleted furniture. Terrible and broken toilet - with licking water. I was disgusted with the bathroom. Towels with holes 😱 Wi-Fi very pure as well. Service was not helpful with solving problems with the room. They have a the same answer to all complaining clients: two standards of rooms - before renovation and after. I don’t buy this bullshit. The gap between the renovated room and the “standard” 😱before the renovation is like heaven comparing to hell… The only good thing was a balcony, pool and the short distance to the beach. That is true that I ordered a standard room. That was the only option at my tour operator. I saw photos of something different. The resort is ranked 4 not one. Be honest to clients! Close the resort. Do the renovation then sell rooms and service to people. Don’t mislead clients !

If you are looking for a nice family holiday, stay away from this hotel. There is absolutely nothing for kids. The swimming pool is extremely dirty( they dont clean the pool properly )plus very small if you consider the number of people staying in the hotel. Hotel commercial videos they advertise the beach but unfortunately the beach doesn't belong to the hotel and you need to pay 18 Euros for sun bed plus for your food and drinks extra cost. I have to give credit to bar staff ( Antonio,Arthur,Albert,Jacqueline ) they are really friendly and hard-working people, and I can say only positive thing about this hotel. But I can't say good things about buffet, you get same things over and over again and very poor quality. I would say never book all inclusive you will regret it . In general, Spanish people are nice and friendly. Costa Adeje is a nice resort but if you want a nice family holiday never book this hotel. Very disappointed with the hotel specially my 12 year old son it was very bad experience for him which is nothing for kids plus all he can do swimming but pool is very dirty and holiday turn into hell for him.

Laguna Park 1 is a relaxed apartment hotel located in Adeje, Costa Adeje. It offers buffet dining, outdoor pools, and a poolside snack bar. The property provides amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access, car hire services, and lifeguards on site. Guests can enjoy the terrace, garden, solarium, karaoke nights, and sundeck. The hotel is conveniently situated near popular attractions like Fanabe Beach and Siam Park.
Had a long weekend here perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Was on my own and didn't feel uncomfortable. Had a huge apartment with all the accessories cleaners came in every other day. Was all inclusive but do half board full board and self catering. Near all the pubs and restaurants and not far from the beach only 4 euros 60 to the town had an amazing time

Honestly, ignore all the negative reviews. This hotel is exactly what you need for a budget friendly holiday. We came as a couple for 4 days. It's got everything you need. Basic. But decent. The food is ok, only being here 4 days we were all inclusive (mainly for the drinks) so did eat out on a night. There's enough choice, especially at breakfast. The staff were very friendly. Had our room cleaned once while we were here but able to request towels as needed. All round I would say, for how much it costs, it is absolutely brilliant value for money. Thank you Laguna Park 1. You've made our stay lovely.

Very clean rooms. Shower however not the best one minute it’s cold next it roasting hot water. Hairdryer is good enough though. Walls are very thin could here if someone was walking by. Beds not the comfiest but are clean. We had the 1 bed apartment and it has a decent sized balcony. Nice kitchen area with fridge. Plenty bars and shops around. The strip didn’t feel that long a walk for us as we walked along the beach front. Wouldn’t got all inclusive as not much variety for food.

We enjoyed this Laguna Park 1 and we have stayed at plenty of high end hotels, but reading the bad reviews have driven me to write this very long, super review! It really depends what you end up paying: for context, we paid £2500 for a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids in April during the school holidays, JET2 holiday package and that was a private transfer too. Stayed in C block 106, which must have had a refurb, as the room was newly furnished. We don’t watch TV when on holiday, so I’ve no idea about the remote issue some reviews mention. It was substantially lower cost than most places, we booked about 3 days before as we always watch the weather and go wherever looking nicest! There really is an army of cleaners, quoting a previous review, I have never seen a team work so hard and clean so much area while smiling and laughing. This happened every single morning, with a deep clean on the actual sunbeds some mornings, the pool area is cleaned rigorously everyday. One review mentioned the noise made by cleaners, I didn’t experience this, was just thrilled with the level of hygiene. I saw one cockroach, also, they are insects, it is fairly normal in the Canaries, that’s just a reality. There was a 2 day employee strike on when we were there but the hotel was fully functional; I hope they have great terms and conditions, the whole team there are superb. All staff extremely friendly, restaurant, bar, cleaners, reception. Wonderful people, fantastic, impressive English skills ♥️ Perhaps we were lucky; there were no guests drinking excessively while we were there etc. we are not bothered that all inclusive stops at 11PM; we’re in bed to enjoy the next day of pool fun. Plus, we don’t really do the entertainment in hotels and tend to walk about the local area in the evening, though there was something on in the hotel bar, every night when we came back. No stress of trying to get a sunbed, although plenty of people do still reserve them with towels, despite lifeguards asking them everyday not to. Main thing is that the pool is large, there is lots of space and plenty of loungers, so you are never without, no matter what the time, so that was great. I thought the pool was a lovely temp to cool off after a hot day and our kids spent the entire day in it. We loved that the restaurant was smaller and less choice, still changed every night and you always got a table immediately, not queuing to get seated all the time like in larger all inclusives, because people at Laguna 1 eat and then leave, rather than sit there for hours, sampling all sorts. The food was more than decent, salads very tasty and a good range for everyone at every sitting. We all really enjoyed the food and ate out usually in the evening, after filling our fussy kids up on the stuff they liked, quickly on all inclusive in the restaurant, but some evenings the food would be so tasty we would end up eating too much before our meal, because it was really nice. The staff in there are fabulous, I cannot express that enough. We like that people cannot walk in wearing swimwear and PJs; it’s a restaurant and a good policy. The only cons for me were: 1. The water tank for shower was small, so you had to be fairly quick in a succession of 4 showers or have a small wait between showers. It wasn’t a problem, it’s was very hot, so a cool shower actually lovely, wasn’t freezing, just not much above luke. 2. Sunbeds are not reclinable; I mean this is me being ridiculously precious, I would not want them to put all those beds in a landfill to replace, if given the option. 3. Too much use of paper cups, better than plastic at least, but would be brilliant if some kind of durable reusable cup system could be implemented for all inclusive guests, or perhaps encouragement for people to buy their own, or even have them there available to buy. I was worried about the holiday after delving into reviews here. I shouldn’t have, I would 100% go back, should the weather take us to Tenerife next year. Thank you Laguna park 1 team; you were awesome 🤩

Have stayed here this week for a family holiday and have found the hotel very pleasant and staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are OK with some basic amenities such as fridge, kettle and toaster, however to wash up, you need to go to the shop and purchase a cleaning set. There is also a lack of drainage board or towels to dry things up. The bathroom has a lovely walk in shower with big shower head, however the water easily leaks out onto the floor, extra sliding door or curtain would help prevent it leaking. Other than the hotel being a little worn in places and needed some new plaster and painting it was a lovely stay. Staff were amazing and helped with our questions. Outside there is a shop next door and lots of restaurants in close vacinity. About 15 minute walk to the sea front.

Spacious apartment, good variety of fresh food. They even gave me two fresh from the oven gluten free rolls each breakfast. Plenty to drink - served in paper cups - but tasted good and as much as we wanted. Lovely being able to see the sea and mountains from the balcony. Several evenings of live entertainment

Decent enough hotel but 3 star for a reason. Room was ok. Kitchen area with fridge, microwave and two hub cooker. No table or dressing table in room. Bathroom was ok but no hand wash or shampoo provided. Balcony was spacious with table and two chairs. Food was poor in our opinion and though we were half board only ate there twice

We were sceptical with there being so many negative reviews, however we were really pleased. There were 12 of us with 3 rooms. We did pay for the upgraded pool view rooms, we could see the beautiful sunset over the sea each day. The room was cleaned every other day, the ceiling fans were powerful enough (in April), we didn't need them any where near their highest setting. The furnishings were perfectly adequate, basic but there were bedside tables and more than enough sockets with USB ports for charging. Not that we had time for watching TV a universal app I already had installed on my phone worked on the TV. The food was brilliant, plenty of choice, there was atleast 1 rice and 1 pasta option each night plus several other main choices, there was no repetition in the evening or lunch times across the 6 days we were there. Breakfast was obviously standardised but again had ample choice. We did have several fussy eaters with us and we had no complaints or issues at all. Drinks wise you could help yourself to soft drinks by the pool until 6pm which is when the restaurant opened, you could take 2 alcoholic drinks per person at a time and they were perfectly generous with the alcohol to mixer ratio, yes they were localised versions but plenty of choice, there were well known branded beers included though, wines, sangria and a different cocktail each day. The location is perfect too, a short walk to the beach, opposite from the pick up for Loroparque, Siam park and Siam shopping mall and the drop off is right outside. There were plenty of shops and bars. There were a snake and parrot shows on while we were there, the snake show was actually really funny and the parrots were extremely intelligent. The staff were all friendly. We would definitely stay again.
