Amazing hike to this wonderful natural hot spring. One of the best walks I've done in Argentina, it's truly spectacular

To get to the starting point of the hiking you definitely need a 4x4. Without it is not possible to cross a 25m wide river. This is not a big problem, since it's only 500 meter more to walk (additional to the 4km) and you are able to cross the river by barefoot. The water is just super cold and it really hurts and there is no other way to cross the river.

Easily accessible. Not too crowded. Exactly as expected. Deepest pool was knee deep when we were there. Lovely day out. Walked from Camping Chachin. Took 8 hours return.

Hay al rededor de 5 piletones grandes donde te podes meter, el Lugar es bastante concurrido (Feb 2025) va bastante Gente a pasar el dia. El sendero desde El camping es super sencillo, son 4 km pero no tiene dificultad Tecnica para nada, mas que alguna que otra subida medio pronunciada, vi Gente de 65/70 años yendo sin problema. Se puede ir hasta las 18 hrs y se recomienda volver antes de que oacurezca pero no hay quien controle el horario (guiño guiño) super recomendado ir, son preciosas las termas y mucha vegetation al lado del Lago, se vuelve una zona muy selvatica, El Camino hasta el camping desde San martin por ruta 48 esta super bien y puede ir casi cualquier vehiculo si sos corajudo, vi hasta ford K y un Bora en El Lugar, hice otra publicacion en El camping entrando mas en detalles del Camino y El Lugar. En fin, vayan a las termas, de los lugares mas lindos de la zona y gratis! El guardaparques que esta ahi en El Lugar (Dario) suuuuuper copado, un genio, me llevo y me trajo desde San martin a dedo, muy Buena Gente, la apertura del Lugar depende mucho del clima y del guardaparques que Este en El momento, y del estado de la ruta, segun me dijo Dario, ahora va a estar abierto hasta Abril, asique aprovechen!
