Rapanui is a popular chocolate store and ice cream parlor in Bariloche, with an elegant art-deco inspired design. The sprawling premises offer a variety of chocolate products, from animals to gift packages, and also feature a cafe serving tasty treats and quick bites. One of the highlights is the indoor ice-skating rink. Rapanui's high-quality products have made it a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
The ice cream here was divine. Highly recommend the dark chocolate and pistachio flavours! Good ambience; nice place to hang out for a while with clean bathrooms.
Adelle E — Google review
Very large establishment with a chocolate shop, ice cream shop, cafe and ice skating rink all in one place. We tried their ice cream and it was delicious. They had 8 flavors of just chocolate 😍 with great other options as well.
Dwan T — Google review
The best Ice Cream I have ever eaten in my life. Chocolate Con Guindas was amazing. This flavor is specific to the store in Bariloche. Not available in Buenos Aires. Rapanui should be a must visit for anyone visiting Argentina or Bariloche in particular. It is a cultural icon. Hope the brand comes Staseide, sometime soon. It's better than Amorino.
Varun N — Google review
The place was a bit chaotic and really crowded, but they offer many different sweets: chocolate, ice cream, alfajores, franui. A worker that served us ice cream was very helpful and friendly. Everything was delicious! There’s an ice rink inside.
Ann A — Google review
Wide selection of chocolates and ice cream to try. Ideal spot for presents and to relax with friends. NB to buy an ice cream, you need to pay at one of the counters and then grab a ticket and wait for your number to be called.
Custom E — Google review
The hot chocolate was delicious, also ice skating in the premise
Saar R — Google review
Absolutely delicious chocolates and ice creams. I wish I was a millionare and could spend all my salary there. So so recommended!
Adam B — Google review
Ice cream shop with delicious chocolate and ice cream🍦. So many flavors to taste, all of them amazing. I recommend trying those typical from bariloche, the franui. They have a system where you buy your ticket, then take a slip with your turn and get what you ordered. The place is always crowded for a reason.

Chocolate cafe
Chocolate shop
Mamuschka, located on Calle Mitre 298, is a must-visit chocolate shop in Bariloche. This local favorite offers an extensive selection of chocolates and candies that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. The brand's history dates back to 1988 when they introduced their signature laminated chocolate with dulce de leche. Known for using carefully selected cocoa beans from their places of origin, Mamuschka has become a prominent figure in the town's chocolate scene.
Excellent chocolate, excellent desserts, and, surprisingly, excellent espresso. Considering it’s a tourist spot, the prices are decent compared to other high-end chocolate shops on Mitre. The service is fast and the employees are friendly. However, do be warned that this establishment gets rather crowded.
Mina T — Google review
Popular chocolate spot. Delicious and great options. Loved it all. I bought the smallest box with six different treats. They were all great.
Hussein A — Google review
One of the most impressive chocolate stores in Bariloche. Many options, it goes by the weight and the service is very friendly. It is very expensive but it is worth it. Treat yourself and try the chocolate en Rama, delicious.
Trachemysta — Google review
I tried Dulce de leche, Mil avellana, Multifruta and all of them were amazing. Give it a shot if you pass by.

Service was friendly, pastries delicious. I thought the coffee was average. I would return. Highly recommend the rose lemon pastry tart.
Faye B — Google review
Huge and famous traditional chocolate shop in Bariloche 🍫 Definitely a place you have to at least visit if you are in town. Gets a little bit busy but the service was great. Most of the Chocolate prices cost around $9000 1/4 kg and $17500 1/2 kg The quality is really good but end up being a little bit expensive if you want to try different chocolate products.

Beautiful store “chocolate lover’s heaven”! If you pay in US dollars be prepared to bring us$50 or $100 bills as us&50 is the minimum purchase otherwise credit card is accepted with purchase minimum.

Everything here is delicious! 😋🤤 You go in dine in or grab a ticket for a personal box. Line was long I wanted chocolates and I went to the shorter line for the pre made box of chocolates, the box didn't even last 2 days and I'm not a crazy sweets person. Every chocolate has a perfect balance not bitter not too sweet just has you craving more!

Nestled in the heart of San Carlos de Bariloche, Familia Weiss is a beloved dining destination that captures the essence of regional flavors. This rustic eatery boasts an extensive menu featuring a delightful mix of German and Patagonian specialties, including succulent lamb and fresh trout. Guests rave about the warm hospitality provided by the attentive staff, making every visit feel special.
Great tradicional place from Bariloche! They have an amazing variety of local dishes (the trout is more affordable than other places on Mitre) and the staff is super friendly! On the back they have the smoked meats and cheeses shop.
Melina T — Google review
It was suggested to us that this was the place to eat in Bariloche by our hotel concierge. Unfortunately, it fell flat on its face. We walked in shortly after its opening. The restaurant had a few tables full and we were asked to seat ourselves where we wanted. About 5 min after we sat ourselves, another couple was seated next to us. Immediately the waiter came and took their drink and food order. We Sat there looking stupid. I looked over to the older lady that told us to seat ourselves with the ‘WTH’ look. A couple minutes later our waiter came and took our order. Our Spanish is less than perfect, but it was quite obvious while he was taking our order he was not extending any effort to help explain things. Shortly after that, the older lady came over to our table and asked me to put my purse in my lap. It was hanging off my chair. I looked around and sure enough, other women were holding their purses in their lap while cutting steak. SMH. We ordered 2 empanadas, a salad to split and the pork roast and lamb. The food that was served was good, not the best I have ever had, but not the worst. . Unfortunately, my salad arrived literally after my last bite of food and by now i was pretty annoyed so I told him I didn’t want it. He understood that. The ladies that sat down on the other side of us were not asked to put their purses in their lap while they ate. Don’t know why I was. But I felt so uncomfortable at this restaurant. I would not recommend it to anyone despite it being decent food.
Merri D — Google review
Food was Fine, nothing special. Atmosphere is great, waiters are friendly. Food is delivered quickly and portions are also good. They have vegetarian options too.
Teresa S — Google review
A satisfactory lunch in central Bariloche. It’s a totally chance encounter while we wandering around the center of town. The building is an imposing structure, built like large chalet 😎😎😎, reminiscent of what might one encounter in the Austrian or Swiss countryside. Indeed, the huge interior looks very much like a log cabin. Very well lit dining room! The Menu is a tad large, but navigable. An attraction are the salads and fish entrees, lovely respite from the very carnivorous foods of Patagonia. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 The Ensalada Weiss and Ensalada Bosque are BOTH OUTSTANDING salads. Fresh cut greens, sprinkling of nuts and berries, mushrooms (in the Bosque), slivers of lovely Swiss cheese, and venison (in the Weiss). THEN there’s the TRUCHA CON CHAMPIÑONES: lovely perfectly pan seared large filet of trout, very flavorful by itself and seared crispy skin 😊. BUT THEN IT IS DROWNED IN MUSHROOM SAUCE 🫤🫤🫤, the otherwise crispy skin is swimming in it. *** Okay the sauce is very good, BUT THERE’S TOO MUCH OF IT…. The trout is the king!!! NOT the sauce. *** The TROUT SHOULD BE SERVED CRISPY SKIN UP, the sauce added around it!!! *** the Gnocchi with Cheese sauce also DOES NOT ADD ANYTHING TO THE DISH. In fact, it make the dish heavy🫤🫤🫤🫤🫤… why not just a simple baked potatoes??? OR sautéed vegetables??? 👍 The Tart Frambuesa is good, though a tad sweet. Service is very good.
A ( — Google review
I was excited to try this place but didn’t like the food that much. It’s very nice resturant with awesome decorations and lovely staff that are dressed up. The charcuterie board was good but nothing special ( I felt I was missing trout in there). The trout didn’t taste fresh.
Hussein A — Google review
Really interesting restaurant. It was like Argentinean-Hungarian. And maybe German too. I ordered the hunters Lamb (Cordero a la Calzadora) a typical plate in Argentina. It came with some noodles covered in a cream sauce and several pieces of lamb meat on the bone. The plate was covered in sauce but it was delicious. I also orders a glass of red wine. They only sell bottles and 1 type of red and white. The brand was San Juan and it was a tempranillo wine. It was motly light, but still had some heavy body to it that made it a but more than a casual sipping wine. It took my attention every sip ,but was good - on the dryer side as well. The best best part of the place for sure was the service and the ambiance. My server was perfe t and professional and not too pushy but attentive when needed. Also the place is dimly lit, but not so dark that you can't see the menu. There is a sort of tree house feel to it and it's warm, an escape from the cold of the outside. ***end novel*** Def stop by here for food if in town.
Leonard — Google review
So this is a place you come to for traditional Argentine cuisine. You'll find smoked fish, trout, vencen and traditional deserts. However, if you are particular about service, this is not the place to go. Lots of fish options as well as meat, but the service is not strong. 1= good 5= awful Noise: 2 Parking: 5 Food quality: 4 Timing: 2 Cost: 3

Delturista, located in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, is a renowned chocolate and confectionery shop that has been operating since 1969. It is deeply rooted in Swiss-Italian traditions of Alpine chocolate making and offers an extensive array of chocolates and candies. The shop also features a cafeteria and ice cream shop where visitors can enjoy coffee with cake.
Chocolate shop, very big with a literally overwhelming variety of delicious chocolate types with different flavors🍫. The chocolate en Rama is a must to try, soo good. The shop is well organized and the service is super friendly. Funny note: there is a gym right upstairs, quite ironic 😂

Lovely place with a great selection of chocolates and icecream! I was told to go have brunch or merienda and we asked for the hot chocolate with media lunas amd it was fantastic, so rich and slightly bitter with a creamy texture perfect to dunk your pastry on it. The service was a bit slow given that there were not a lot of people there but it was very nice and the person was quite welcoming so very good on that end. The atmosphere can feel really like crowded since there is so much going on at the same time and you can see the whole store while eating so it's not very relaxing but nevertheless it was good.
Salvador R — Google review
I had a hot chocolate that was so good that I started tearing. Works perfectly with the cold
Chris B — Google review
Excellent chocolate, pastry, ice cream, and restaurant. The chocolate we bought here was, of course, delicious. There is a cafe in the back that serves excellent coffee. There is a choice of delicious pastries as well. We also came back for dinner to have sandwiches which were generous and delicious. The gourmet club is great! I had the tostado with ham and cheese. The picture shows 2 large pieces but there are actually 4. It would have been enough for 2 people. Prices are reasonable.

Huge chocolate shop. They give you chocolate to try which is nice.
JH S — Google review
Worst attention ever, 3 hours to get a coffee and a piece of cake without any flavour.. The place is super cold and super crowded.. really not a good experience
Nicolás G — Google review
Bought two box of chocolates as gifts. I got one bag. I asked if I could have another bag since they were two gifts. The cashier refused to give me a second bag. I told her they were two separate gifts but she said no again. So I asked if I could return the chocolates, to which she also said no. Terrible service. Theyre called as El Turista because they are only marketed for tourists and their service counts on you never coming back. Keep away if you don't want to ruin your afternoon.

Centro Cívico Bariloche is the focal point of the town, featuring Alpine-inspired architecture and a museum that showcases the region's history. The buildings, constructed from timber and local stone, were designed in 1939 by Ernesto de Estrada in collaboration with renowned architect Alejandro Bustillo. At the main plaza, an equestrian statue of General Roca stands amidst graffiti art.
The civic center is full of culture and beauty. There are countless things to do. You can always find things to do to keep you entertained and food of all varieties. The Argentinians are respectful, helpful, and friendly.

Centro Civico was built by architect Ernesto de Estrada.  Basically, like the main square, every town has one.  The place where large cultural and social events are often held.  Its architecture has European and North American influences, reflecting the surrounding mountains and woods. Walk around and take in the charming stone walls, wooden doors and Lake Nahuel Huapi in the background.  Museo de la Patagonia is located here and this is worth a visit.  I enjoyed walking around the square taking in the atmosphere and scenery.

The heart of Bariloche, the civic center is a public plaza. Constructed in 1940, the cobbled plaza is bounded by stone and log buildings housing the Municipality of Bariloche (the one with the clock tower), the city library, a museum and the city post office. At the center of the plaza is the equestrian statue of General Julio Argentino Roca, military leader and statesman. He served 2 terms as President of Argentina, for a total of 12 years, apparently the longest serving president. The plaza appears to be a center of community and civic activities throughout the year.

Worst experience ever - Milanese completely chewy, awful. Even the French fries were really bad. Pasta with tomato spice was a joke - unbeatable ! Avoid that place!!!!

We stopped here for a quick break and everything tasted like it wasn’t fresh. All the pastries we ordered had a strange almond taste, even though none of them contained almonds. The churros and cinnamon rolls were stale (hard) and horrible. The submarino is nothing special. The scrambled egg with cheese and coffee were good. The toilets were disgusting. Service was ok.

Worst empanadas I've had in Argentina. Pan fried, hard pastry and a basic filling. And cost me 11,000 pesos with a small bottle of water. Only review I've left on my whole trip, it was that bad. The restaurant is popular for its cheese fondue and deer Balmoral. It also caters to vegetarians. The ambiance inside resembles a Swiss chalet, providing an authentic Alpine experience.
This is a great gem in Bariloche! We went three days in a row. The first day we had soups (butternut squash and onion soup) and the next day we had the trout with the lemon sauce and the third day we had the traditional fondue. The food was top notch, the ambience super nice and the servers were warm and helpful! Would definitely go again!

We had an amazing dining experience at La Marmite here in Bariloche! From the cozy alpine atmosphere and warm lighting to the friendly and attentive service, everything was perfect. The restaurant was full as the evening progressed — a clear sign of how loved this place is. I ordered the Ojo de Bife, and it was hands-down the best steak I’ve had in Argentina — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Paired with a glass of Malbec, it made for an unforgettable evening. A special thank you to Jorge, who assisted us with such kindness and professionalism. His polite service truly made our experience even better. If you’re in Bariloche and looking for authentic Argentine flavors in a welcoming, rustic setting, La Marmite is a must-visit. Highly overrated. Burgers look better than they taste. Ordered the Argentina and Española burgers. The meat has very little flavor, not sure if it is seasoned at all. And while there’s so many toppings, you can hardly taste anything. Not much thought went into crafting a really tasty burger, they just tried to cram as many toppings as possible and hope for the best. There is another burger place here we tried called Weiss which is much better and for almost the same price, comes with a craft beer. If you’re from the U.S. especially and have had some good burgers, you will be sorely disappointed.

We went on lunch time, there were nobody. The waitress came to take our drink order when we arrive in 3min. After we wait 40 minutes before she come to take our order for the food.. at least we have our food 7min after the order. But the meat of the burger was disgusting, it tastes burnt and unwashed plaque for a long time. The chicken was a little better but not that good. Over price, disgusting and terrible service go somewhere else!!

McDonald's is a popular fast food restaurant that serves burgers and fries. It is often crowded, but the staff is friendly and fast. The view from the restaurant is spectacular.
The same as we can expact from McDonald's. I only had a salade with grilled chicken.

There is no possibility to see the prices of any hamburger without the complete combo, normally it is mandatory to show all prices in a list close to the order desk, this is not the case. So you need to ask the cashier personally. For that reason I gave a 2 stars.

There was supposed to be a 30% discount on paying by Mastercard. We told the lady we had a debit Mastercard and she said yes that’s fine pay. We paid and got no discount. We asked for a refund and they said they can’t refund us the 30% and that they wouldn’t cancel the order and give us a refund on the order. They insisted we would have to use our receipt to claim it back from the bank. They also would not give us a proof of cancellation or any kind of refund proof to show the bank, making it impossible to claim a refund. Especially annoying since the woman told us to pay. We ended up having to have the food since they wouldn’t give us a refund. The food was cold after this whole ordeal. The Coca Cola was also flat

They don’t sell anything on their main menu until 2pm. Before then, only toasties and croissants. There is no menu for this. Ridiculous service in a tourist town Update: we went back at 2 to get lunch and they were sold out of every chicken option. How they can sell out when they weren’t serving it all morning, I’ll never know. Worst maccies I have ever been to

I came here for breakfast thinking a McDonalds is roughly a McDonalds. It may be for lunch and dinner sandwiches but the breakfast items are totally different here. The closest they come to a McMuffin is a sandwich with the round egg, cheese, and a hamburger bun. Not nearly as tasty. At least it was quick.

They didn’t have the chicken I ordered, she asked me if I could change it. The order took an extremely long time to arrive and was not good

The McCafe is an excellent option if you want a coffee drink made with good coffee (not the best, but pretty good and consistent quality) in the center of a city without spending a fortune in a speciality coffee place. Of course it comes in a paper cup, which takes away some of the enjoyment, but it is still well, well worth its price. Unfortunately at this location there was consistently only one bartender at the McCafe, so you have to wait in line for a while.

Day 2

Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Nahuel Huapi National Park, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Los Curantos de Víctor Goye. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, established in 1903, is a vast national park in Argentina's Lakes District. Spanning 7500 sq km across Neuquen and Rio Negro provinces, it boasts mountains, lakes, and forests offering various outdoor activities. The centerpiece is the impressive Lago Nahuel Huapi, a glacial lake over 100km long. Hiking enthusiasts can explore challenging multiday treks or easier rambles with well-marked trails.
Pristine National Park in Argentina with the blue waters of the lake set against the snow capped mountains when we visited in October. Many view points along the road as you hug the lake with one or two large viewing platforms providing beautiful 180 degree views of the area. Simply breathtaking.

It’s the natural beauty that is outstanding, not the never ending traffic on the main roads or the noise caused by them. Get away from all that and it is wonderful.

Each season has its own wonder. flowers and birds in spring, silent falling snow in winter with hares and foxes running when you least expect. and I can go on with the hot summer with small waterfalls, never ending nights watching the stars. and at last the autumn with reds covering the forest. its a marvellous place... always, even when the wind blows and the rain falls, and you can do nothing but watch...

Espresso bar
Confitería del Cerro Campanario is a must-see destination in Bariloche, offering breathtaking panoramic views from its summit. Visitors can reach the top by foot, car, or a scenic chairlift ride that ascends 1,050 meters above sea level. Once at the peak, multiple platforms provide 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and Patagonian lakes. This iconic location is part of Circuito Chico and offers an unforgettable experience for travelers seeking stunning natural beauty.
We took the public bus to the bottom of the hill and hiked up the mountain to save the small amount of money but the chairlift is there for those not willing/able to hike. The views at the height of the mountain are absolutely stunning. The views are breath taking. The only think I recommend is getting here early so you can spend enough time relaxing with this beautiful view. We didn't go to the cafe or spend money at the restaurant.
Ben S — Google review
Amazing place to have a 360 view of bariloche. There are some spots where you can watch all directions, to the mountains, city and lake. 30min hike up or you can pay for the chairlift
Francisco F — Google review
The wonderful view and the way to the mountain is why you visit here and not especially the cafeteria. The way up and down was stunning. Such a views one can see usually in a postcard. The cafeteria itself was very overpriced and the beverage as well as the food were just ok. We recommend to visit here for the wonderful experience and eat somewhere else.
Shahaf S — Google review
The view from the top is beautiful, no matter which time of the year. It is a 30-40 minutes hiking up, a bit steeped but easy to walk. Also there is a chair lift if you don’t want to walk.
Raúl A — Google review
We parked right at the bottom and hiked up rather than took the chairlift up. Was fairly vertical but took less than 30 minutes. Was worth the view, it was 360 degrees and spectacular. There is a small cafe at the top where you can buy water, beer, coffee, snacks, or small souvenirs.
Anna N — Google review
The ride up is probably around 5 to 10 minutes, probably less. The way up is fine, not much to see, but the way down has some breathtaking views. Once up top, you have a historic building with a little cafe, and stairs up to a nice viewpoint with some stunning landscape. On the other side, you can walk through some dirt roads to another viewpoint which overlooks the other side of the horizon. 500 pesos per person to go up and down
Francisco G — Google review
Amazing panoramic views of the mountains and lakes around Bariloche. We arrived late in the afternoon so took the chairlift (1200 pesos return) since it was unclear whether there was a hiking trail. Nice cafe located at the top to relax and enjoy the views.

Parque Nahuelito is a charming and educational park located in the small circuit of Bariloche. It features a variety of life-sized dinosaur replicas, making it an exciting destination for families. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour that lasts approximately 35 minutes, during which they can walk among nearly 30 dinosaur specimens. The knowledgeable and friendly guides provide engaging explanations about the dinosaurs, creating an enjoyable experience for both children and adults.
See 30 different species of dinos as statues (and a couple that are animatronic!) in a one-hour tour. That sounds real fast BUT the guides are engaging and make the pace seem appropriate. And you get to take as many pics as you want along the way
Grek S — Google review
We visited this place on a cold October day as we were needing to get out and enjoy the sites. There were no English speakers that day for the tour, but that didn't stop us from getting our own tour guide and having a blast. We learned what the dinosaur names were in Spanish compared to English. It was pretty fun.

A great place to visit in family. Easy to arrive over Bustillo Avenue (will need a car because it’s a 20 minute drive from down town) It is a 1hour tour, walking into some kind of natural forest, where the guides will explain to the family about dinos ( all except 2 are in 1:1 scale !) The guides are very friendly and they do their work with love and patience for the kids. At the end you can buy some funny pics for about 1500AR. Prices are reasonable. Don’t loose the opportunity to visit this place and learn about Dino’s

The parc is not bad, dinosaurs are beautiful and looks real. First bad point : the park is very small, maybe 20-25 dinosaurs. It takes 15 minutes to walk around the park. Second bad point : the first point would be not so bad if the price wouldn’t so high ! We paid 36 000$ ARS for 2 adults and 1 child 5yo. (25/10/2024) Also, the price are not on the website, and they are not displayed at the entrance… so maybe it depends of the head of the customer….

Argentinian restaurant
Los Curantos de Víctor Goye is a unique dining experience in Bariloche, offering a traditional preparation of meats and vegetables cooked underground on hot stones and wrapped in nalca or maqui leaves. Located in Colonia Suiza, this establishment provides not only delicious food but also an immersive cultural experience. The curanto is prepared around 12:30 pm and then covered with leaves, skins, and earth before being uncovered for guests to enjoy.
If you come to Colonia Suiza, definitely plan to eat at this restaurant. They only operate Sunday and Wednesday at 1.45pm. The food uses the curanto technique which is amazing (Cost ~$42 USD per head). The owner of the restaurant shows how the food is cooked. There is a unique 5-steps menu of meat with a side. It's simple but the cooking technique elevates the taste. I ate far too much for 2 days ☺️. For quiet travelers do mind that the menu includes a show with very loud classic Latin music which may not be the taste of everyone. We couldn't speak because of the volume of music. In my view, I would have preferred a shorter musical show and a more up to date playlist.
Vanessa B — Google review
The man in the shirt that says Leo tried to scan my credit card with his personal cell phone. He pressed it up underneath, his phone beeped, and the screen flashed. We asked him what he was charging to the card and then he grabbed the wireless credit card terminal and denied he was doing anything. No eye contact. He was using the BA SUBE transit card app that lets you add money to your account using NFC. He's nowhere near BA. He really ruined what could have been a positive experience. (Despite the high price)
Stewart C — Google review
Curanto is not just food is a unique experience: the tradition, technique, music and of course the amazing flavor of everything: beef, chicken, lamb and vegetables! Come early on Sundays and Wednesday to reserve a seat inside. It's worth it 👌

You come to Victor not only for the meat, but for the experience. They add the meat and vegetables to the curantos around 12.30 and cover it with leaves, skins and earth. Then you can walk around Colonia Suisa for and hour or so, try the beer at Cerveceria Berlina. After they undercover the curantos you get to enjoy as much meat as you can eat. Chorizo, lam and veal én masse. There is usually live folk music towards the end. This is a highly enjoyable experience.
Mischa S — Google review
Very nice and different experience! the cooking style confers the meat and vegetables a unique flavor. The menu consists of five different dishes, and after that you can repeat something if you want. Dessert are included, but drinks aren't. it is not cheap, but worth it. There is also a guitar show along with the food
Quique — Google review
I am in vacation with some friends. The all experience was great. Victor was great. We enjoyed the show. In general all staff was fantastic.

Great traditional place. All you can eat is the only option offered. It is both a lunch and a show. The only bad thing is that you should plan your visit ahead, since it is only open on wensday and sunday, and if you don't book it is usually full.

Cerveza Patagonia - Cerveceria Bariloche is a rustic-chic brewery offering stunning views of the lake and mountains, making it a popular spot for beer enthusiasts. The brewery features regular offerings like pale ale, Weisse, and porter listed on a chalkboard. Visitors can also enjoy beer-friendly bites and must-try thick-cut fries. Beer tasting tours are available where guests can learn about the brewing process and sample five different beers.
This was a great brewery to relax, take in the view, and sample some unique beers. There was plenty of parking, and while you do have to pay to enter, that fee is credited back if you order food or drinks, which was a nice. The restaurant space is open and airy, with every seat facing the lake, so no matter where you sit, you’re getting a view. We really enjoyed the beer flights and had fun trying the different styles. The appetizers were a bit underwhelming and priced on the higher side, but honestly, it felt worth it for the peaceful setting and space to unwind. Bonus points for clean bathrooms and a cheerful crowd. Lots of happy people soaking up the vibe.

I will share my experience with Patagonia for everyone who’s interested. First of all, I will talk about the waiting for our food, and deserts. The service was not that great and we wait for our food almost 40-50 minutes. Later, we order some dessert, that also took around 30 minutes. About the food, I will specifically talk about my plate, Pastel Pulled Pork. Overall : 4/10 It was poorly seasoned, all the plate was mainly sweet potatos that looked more like mashed potatoes than a Pastel. It was not really tasty, almost unflavored. I wouldn’t serve it like a main dish. The dessert was alright, overall 7/10. Not really anything remarkable. Maybe if the chocolate could’ve been serve a little bit warmer and not cold, could really make a nice contrast between the ice cream and the chocolate. Though, the frutos rojos (berries) were really tasty. The atmosphere was pretty good, the place is cozy and really nice. My overall opinion is: If you are coming for a beer, I would recommend. The beer is quite good, and the place is great for a chill time. Now, if you are coming looking for somewhere to eat, I suggest that you look for other places. The menu doesn’t have a lot of options, the food was late, and it was pricey. I will give credit that they have some gluten free and vegetarian alternatives. Also some kids menu. But as I said, you have several different options that you can eat with the same price. That’s all, I think the food could use some work. Hope the service improves. Nice place for some beers with friends but just that.

Surely one of the worlds most scenic taprooms. Visited while cycling the Circuito Chico. We ate in the beer garden building, which had a smaller menu but didn’t need a reservation - it also has music and a wood burning stove. You pay $10,000 at the entrance but that includes a first drink. It was a little difficult to work out the system with our limited Spanish but the staff were generally very helpful. 4 star hotel seems appropriate. Very nice hotel. Conveniently located right next to 2 bike rental companies for doing circuito chico. Incredible view from the room. Very nice pool and hot tub. Both are indoor and heated. Breakfast was very nice. Great eggs and a good spread. Gorgeous view from the restaurant. Improvements: There are many things in the room that all come at cost (shampoo, conditioner, drinks). It would be nice if these were either free or weren’t in the rooms, to avoid confusion. When we walked in, they sent us up to the 3rd floor with our heavy bags, assuming we wanted the restaurant. For a 4 star hotel, I assume better service; assume that people walking in with baggage are probably there for the hotel.

Incredible views and friendly hawks that will fly around and land nearby. The service was slow. I had a burger and it was good. My wife had the trout and it was a very very small portion. For the price the trout is not worth it at all. Overall the food is expensive for the quality. You don't eat here for the food though, the views from the deck are beautiful.

Incredible view angled plates of glass and slatted shade keeps you cool while you enjoy your food, and lets in the fresh mountain air. Food is good and service is nice also. The view though, would make it worth skipping other meals just to make this happen (but it wasn't too pricey, we really expected to pay more than 1400 AP for a big lunch for 4 with a beer for hubby and a second licuado (smoothie) for me and oldest kiddo. We dined here recently while returning from a drive along the Circuito Chico in the Bariloche area. After exploring the stunning Circuito Chico, we noticed this restaurant along the route. Unsure of where to eat, we decided to give it a try as the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was enchanting. The cozy cabin setting, with its wooden tables, walls, and ceilings, felt like stepping into a European retreat. Upon entering, we were greeted by the sight of lamb roasting on an open fire. Our waiter was exceptionally friendly and recommended some excellent dishes. I ordered the goulash soup, while my partner tried the lamb. Although I’m not usually a fan of lamb, I must admit it was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth—a must-try! We paired our meal with a bottle of Alamos Reserva Malbec, which complemented the flavors beautifully. The soup was surprisingly flavorful, and we also enjoyed a fresh salad and provolone with sausage cooked on the barbecue, which had a delightful smoky flavor and texture. We sat upstairs with a panoramic view of the restaurant, giving us the feeling of dining in a private home. By the time we left, the place was bustling with both locals and tourists. This is undoubtedly one of the best dining spots in Bariloche. I highly recommend this restaurant for its unique ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food. After hiking alongside the Bariloche lake in real Patagonian weather, we decided to eat at Rincón Patagónico. We ordered a large beef to share with some roasted potatoes covered in spicy sauce. It tasted delicious and was just the right thing to eat the get the warmth back in to the body. Alongside our food we ordered two beers. Because we could not decide the waiter offered us free tasting of the different beers before choosing. Overall a great experience - would definitely recommend dining at Rincón Patagónico. The have a wide range of menus to choose between so that there is something for everyone’s taste!

Best Patagonian lamb. I have been trying to find a restaurant that had that mouth watering taste since my first visit to Argentina 14 years ago. This restaurant did it. Wonderful menu great staff fantastic atmosphere.

I was expecting more of the meats. They were good, but not spectacular. Their wine is VERY good though.
Rachel A — Google review
The food was amazing! From presentation to taste it was a 10/10! The service is great as well. They take the time to explain and make recommendations. The wine was a great pairing and complement to the food.

Lamb was incredibly dry, ambiance indicated a tourist-oriented establishment, bathrooms were not clean. However staff was very kind and starters were excellent. Better for families or people who aren’t as attuned to a very high standard of dining

This restaurant has a very magical atmosphere to it: the wooden interiors and the chimney make you feel like you are in a warm mountain cabinet. They have a good variety of food: meat, fish, as well as vegetarian options with rich pasta dishes, salads and wide options of siders. I had the ravioli with ricotta and nuts and they were lovely - plus you get warm bread with spread as an entrée which is definitely welcomed! The attention from the waiter was also perfect.

Catedral Alta Patagonia is an all-year-round destination with a variety of entertainment options for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. The base village provides ample access to 1,480 acres of snow-covered terrain via 38 lifts. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views while skiing on top of the clouds or take a leisurely stroll up the mountain as pedestrians are welcome too.
Can’t beat the views at this place. Top of the mountain is gorgeous!!!! Reminds me of Lake Tahoe or Alaska. The mountain definitely gets crowded and the lines can get long. The snow at the top is much better than the snow at the bottom. There is a free parking lot with a bus shuttle. You can also pay to park in the front which is 3,500 pesos. The village is cool to walk around and grab food. Recommend going to the restaurant at the top. It’s usually a wait to get a table but great views up there with good food.

This is a great location for varied and interesting skiing for those coming from the Northern Hemisphere, but a few words of caution: The good bits - Stunning setting with view of the high Andes and the local lakes; it is breathtaking - A lot of wide, interesting skiing - A number of fast lifts - New snow cannons ensured a way home by skis - Lots of potential for off-piste - Some really nice restaurants in resort - People are friendly and seem very genuine - We mad friends with the local dogs who roam around the resort and the mountain. The not-so-good bits: - We had mixed weather (which is not the ski lift company's fault) and still enjoyed ourselves though; in Patagonia, as the locals say, the weather changes very quickly. - Some new lifts are slow, making queues for the fast ones - Snow making needs extending (only one home run was open whilst we were here) - The road to resort (which we had to walk on with ski boots) is not a pleasant experience and feels unsafe: the mud and rock 'pavement' is often parked on by cars, so you have to dice with death and avoid the coaches whizzing by as you tread on the asphalt

Amazing skiing, well groomed runs, lifts that work great. Get there early if you do not want to wait to go up the Amanay lift, because after the pedestrians arrive the line and wait gets crazy long. Download the Catedral App for live updates on runs and lifts that are open/closed and the estimated wait times. SPECTACULAR views from the top

Catedral is the biggest ski resort in Argentina by all standards: skiable area, infrastructure and runs. It gets packed and wind conditions tends to close a few of the lifts. Still, it’s a great place for skiers of all levels, having the biggest beginners area in the country as well. And more recently they have invested in a few snow cannons on that area that allow all-season snow to practice. Runs are good, long enough even though the off piste terrain is not that challenging or allowing.

Cerro Catedral is working full time already! Magic Carpet zone working 100% (Culipatín ya'll). Lifts still not working though (planned to start by mid June). Ski slopes for beginners that are currently open: Princesa and Evento. Bear in mind no fresh snow since the early snowstorm May 9th. Still early season! On the bright side: everything is free for all. No restrooms though. If you happen to need one, I'm gonna save you the pain and tell you to go straight to the McDonald's and buy yourself a cup coffee to get the privilege of a using a restroom 😉
Christian A — Google review
Amazing place but like all ski station, elevated prices.
Juliana C — Google review
The snow can be soft and the might need more high speed lifts up top, but overall excellent facilities for someone who needs a skiing fix in August. I skied mid week and lift lines were not bad. I did here someone complain about the beginning lessons, but there are other options for that at the mountain.
Mark T — Google review
Experienced the lowest part of mountain and in high season. Prices are quite high, concerning everything there. You have several options for equipment rental. There is a bus line (55) up there and down. Although, to go down you will face crowded buses and huge queues. The sporting space for begginers is quite good but very very crowded around 1-3pm.

Cerro Catedral is a popular recreational mountain in Argentina, known for its sizable winter ski center and summertime trails offering stunning lake views. The area around Refugio Frey has seen significant improvements since 2005, with over 90 routes being re-equipped for safer climbing experiences. As the largest ski center in Argentina and South America, Cerro Catedral boasts 53 tracks catering to skiers, snowboarders, and alpine skiers of all levels.
Cerro Catedral in Argentina is gorgeous! Views are breathtaking, with panoramic landscapes of the Andes. Whether you’re skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer, the scenery is unmatched. It’s the perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature and take in some of the most beautiful views Argentina has to offer. Highly recommend!

If this is the best place you can ski in Latin America then i have bad news for you guys… 1. No snow 2. Tons of people 3. No wind but they closed top routes saying that there is a wind there and it’s not safe (the weather was really peaceful and pleasant… They have like 6-8 snow machines but they don’t put it in places where there’s no snow 4. The price is higher than in Armenia and in Russia but the slopes are worse Just for your information. The snow level as it is shown on photos is just unacceptable for any ski resort So if you are looking for place where you want to learn how to ski or improve your skills or just to enjoy skiing - I don’t think this is an option

Beautiful ! I had so much fun in the snow. Whoever wants to go there by taxi just make sure to talk to your taxi driver if they can pick you up after, because there is no cars available to get back after night.

Waterfalls
Cascada de Los Duendes is a picturesque trail in the Gutierrez Lake Sector of Nahuel Huapi National Park. The route combines two short trails, leading to the beautiful double waterfall hidden in the forest. After enjoying the cascading waters, hikers can continue along a slightly sloping path to reach Mirador del Lago Gutierrez, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. This easily accessible walk is suitable for families and can be enjoyed year-round with minimal difficulty.
Most people drive to the trailhead bu it is a pleasant 2.1k walk from the #50 bus stop along a dusty but shaded road then a short hike to the falls.
William A — Google review
Easy walk to very nice waterfall. It wasn’t overly crowded. The trail was easy and mostly flat.
Maria F — Google review
Nice easy walk by the lake and in the wood, and a lovely, not amazing, cascade. If you have 3-4 hours (including the time to get there) and want to spend them pleasantly - it might be a good idea. Get there by bus (forgot the number... Fifty something...)
Shirley K — Google review
“Idioma español más abajo” The Cascada de los Duendes is an easily accessible walk that can be enjoyed as a family, at any time of the year and is of very low difficulty. Where is the Los Duendes Waterfall located? To get from the city center, you have to take the number 50 bus that ends your tour in Villa Los Coihues, which is approximately 14 km from the city of Bariloche. You have to get off at Lake Gutierrez just after the bridge at the access to the Villa los Coihues neighborhood, from here you have to continue 1 km of walking along the street that borders the lake between forests and private homes and lodges. At the end of this road is the park guard house, and 100 meters later the path begins. You can also access this point by car or with bicycles and leave them parked there (we recommend not leaving valuable items in cars). The path through the forest has a total length of 400 meters with a minimum difficulty, in which one can observe centenary coihues, native flora of the place, the murmur of the stream, and if we stop, the sound of the birds that sing In the treetops In a moment the path is divided in two, the one that goes to the waterfall and the path that takes you to the viewpoint of the Gutierrez Lake at 1 km (it is also super recommended although with a greater demand since it has 100 meters of unevenness), to Muñoz Beach 7,5 km away and to the top of the Frey Refuge 10 km away, which are other highly recommended walks that require all day. This walk is ideal to do as a family, and enjoy the natural environment just minutes from Bariloche.

Good turistic place. If you don't like being around many (many) tourists I wouldn't recommend it. You definitely have tons of more solitary places to go to. But you definitely should go to the mirador if you're near by the Cascada de los Duendes!!

Short walk, nice little waterfall to go with family and kids. From there you can go uphill to the Mirador Gutiérrez, about 30-45 min walk. Or to the Muñoz beach (5km). Also you can go to the refugio Frey, about 3 hours walk.

Nestled around kilometer 12 on Avenida Bustillo, Bahía Serena is a serene inlet that offers one of the most breathtaking views of Lake Nahuel Huapi without the need for a strenuous hike. This charming spot features a sandy beach perfect for lounging with a blanket while soaking in stunning sunsets over the mountains. The area is ideal for relaxation and adventure alike, with opportunities to rent kayaks and explore the crystal-clear waters fed by pure snowmelt.
A small beach to relax, rent a kayak and enjoy the view. The free parking lot is a bit small, either come early or in the end of the afternoon. Came 15h, after that it became crowded. There is a private parking lot, but you may have to pay.

Cerro Otto, located within Nahuel Huapi National Park, is a mountain that offers breathtaking panoramic views of Lago Nahuel Huapi and the Andes from its 1,405-meter summit. Accessible by car, foot, or cable car, it provides hiking and biking trails in addition to seasonal cross-country ski trails. While the cable cars may undergo maintenance at times, visitors can still enjoy the stunning scenery and outdoor activities such as skiing during winter.
Another high Mountain View of lakes region of Bariloche. It’s accessible by cable car in a residential area of town. The view of the lakes and the Patagonian Alps is certainly magnificent. It is less busy than Cerro Campanario, just a couple of kilometers away.
Globetrotter — Google review
Beautiful views across the lago as you walk up to the summit. Only negative is the extortionate‘access charge’ to the cerro complex which is a fixed rate per person regardless. You can’t avoid it if you want to take the cable car back down.

For those trying to drive to Cerro Otto, the road is currently closed at the Piedras Blancas, and you will be denied access. There are some nice views near the parking lot, so still a worthwhile experience.

Cerro Otto, located near Bariloche, Argentina, is a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The summit offers stunning panoramic views of Nahuel Huapi Lake, snow-capped Andes, and surrounding forests. Joerg H — Google review
Beautiful place and walk with friends. Not too challenging and depending how close you can get to it in a vehicle you can do this as a day trek in just a few hours. The views are stunning and it’s one of the best examples of Lenga trees. It’s frustrating that part of the trek goes through “private land” of the Aralauquen estate - how on earth was part of a national park (and a large part at that) sold privately to become a playground for Bariloche’s rich and famous. Disgraceful really and surely there must have been some brown envelopes passed to ensure that this happened. In any case it’s a beautiful landscape and the views over Lago Gutierrez are sublime. Hopefully the whole trek returns to public hands soon.

Galería del Sol is a charming multi-level shopping center located in the heart of San Carlos de Bariloche. While it doesn't feature well-known brands, it offers a variety of interesting stores to explore, including clothing boutiques, accessories shops, handicrafts stores, toy shops, lingerie outlets, and jewelry stores. Additionally, there's a cozy café on the ground floor where visitors can relax.
It's one of the most unique and attractive design of a little shopping mall. I didn't buy there anything but I wandered and wondered it for a while. Just see my pictures.
Piotr K — Google review
Beautiful structure, but not much going on. Maybe because it was a Sunday before 1 pm?
David R — Google review
While we are not fans of shopping malls, we visited to see what the fuss is about. It’s an interesting design for a mall. The exterior looks like an entrance to a church, with a central nave and two aisles, all three are arched like a gothic chapel. Indeed, as one enters, the interior is high arched design made entirely of wood. The ceiling is totally a skylight. There are 2 levels of shops. The lower level looks like a food court, the floor is made of artificial turf, an odd choice that cheapens the aesthetics of the place. As to shops, several are overpriced souvenir shops that are obviously targets tourists. There seems to NO public restrooms… for a shopping mall, this is a very very very bad error!
A ( — Google review
Beautiful little shopping mall "for tourists" in the center of town. The interior, with tall wooden arches, is warm and beautiful to see, but it also conveys the sense of a "cathedral of shopping where to worship the Mammon god".... All stores are relatively high-end and they are mostly of souvenirs and clothing. It is not a place where locals usually go to shop. There is also a cafe-restaurant inside, very quiet and peaceful. Worth a quick stop to walk inside if you are already walking down main street in San Carlos De Bariloche.
Niccolo' B — Google review
The wood used for all the structure is what makes this place unique. With a a Swiss style and a patagonian flavour , your senses rejoice. Expensive and small but unique.

Probably the cheapest place to eat properly in the city, with the inflation of the country I see the prices are on par or even higher than Switzerland now. Berlina km. 12 is a popular brewery located in Bariloche, Patagonia, known for its rugged and robust beers brewed by tattooed lumbersexuals. The brewery has expanded across the country but remains headquartered in Bariloche, where it boasts an expansive beer hall and offers a range of merchandise. Visitors can enjoy homemade pizzas and a variety of craft beers at the casual microbrewery, making it a favorite spot for skiers and snowboarders after hitting the slopes.
I was an American traveler in Argentina and let me tell I was quite surprised and blown away by this place. Being from New York, I’ve eaten all kinds of pizza, but I’ve never had anything like this before. This was the first time we tried pizza in Argentina, so this may be the common style we have heard about but I would highly recommend this place. It had a creamy spin on mozzarella that reminded me of cheese I’ve only had in St. Louis, Missouri called provel. Unique and delicious!!! The beers were great as well. (Excuse the photo - we ate half the pie before I knew what happened!)

Saw the onion rings and wish I would have got those too. Everything I saw come out was yummy looking. Lots of fun beers to pick from. Highly recommend! Priced well for the quality of food. Will return.

I consider one of the best craft beer and cuisine proposals in the area. The attention is impeccable and there is no lack of coordination between the waiters who alternate. The food arrives at the table at temperature and that is to highlight it. The quality and preparation of the dishes is excellent. The Smog burger was just right, a homemade type, comparable in taste and texture to those of gourmet American chains like Red Robin. From the patio you can enjoy the view and the natural environment. There is a place to park on the premises, to go without reservations, attend between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., when they also have happy hour prices.

The location of this place is just insane! It was really cold when I went but otherwise I would have chosen to sit outside to contemplate the mountains. Staff was really friendly and the food was amazing. Beer it's a big plus as well. I'd definitely choose it again.
Bella A — Google review
I know this place has gotten poor reviews especially for the service but we had fantastic service... our server was a tall guy with long hair/dreads and he was excellent - very nice, great recommendations and very prompt... we sat outside and it was very pleasant... we got Cordero and Bife from the Parilla and gin and tonics con fruita rojo... everything for us was fantastic! It is a bit expensive for Argentina but the experience was worth every penny and a similar experience in the US would be much more expensive... highly recommend!

If you are in Bariloche and want to have an amazing dining experience, Casa Cassis is the place to go. Everything on their menu is organic and local, from the vegetables to the wine. The service is also top-notch, and the location overlooking Gutierrez Lake makes it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner.
Amazing food and incredible atmosphere. The wine list is excellent. Thanks!❤️ we will come again

If you go to Bariloche, and want to try one of the best dining experiences in your life, you can't miss Cassis. Beyond food, the service is supreme, as well as location in front of the Gutierrez Lake.
Christian F — Google review
Wow wow. What a memorable dinner. Every touch was perfect. The food perfectly executed and delicious. Setting incredible! Amazing for a nice dinner out or special occasion. Also show up early (by Argentina standards) for the view. The sun chancing on the hills from 815 on was beautiful.
Amy S — Google review
Cassis was an absolutely amazing dining experience - Small and intimate, with amazing food. A true 5 star experience All the vegetables we ate were grown right on the property just a few hundred metres from the restaurant itself Ernesto (the host) and his wife (the chef) made us feel more like old friends invited into his home than dinner guests . Come here if you are seeking an refined dining experience with a family charm.

Welcoming owner and staff. One of the best meals in Argentina, perhaps best of many travels. It was a tasting menu with farm fresh preparations. Their trout was outstanding and the slow cooked lamb simply delicious. Fresh greens wonderful and a surprising introduction to a very good Patagonian Malbec.
R. S — Google review
The lamb strudel (confit / slow-cooked in olive oil, then wrapped in pastry, their signature dish) was otherworldly. The rest of the food we tried (sorrel soup, other lamb, pate, and other dishes) was good, but not mind-blowing. The view of the lake was also excellent.

Incredible dining experience! All organic and local

Ooh la la! Hard to find but impeccably French, with extraordinary flavor combinations (how many ways can you use elderberry?) and mammoth picture windows featuring the beautiful lake and the Andes. Five star dining at its zenith.

Argentinian restaurant
Nestled in the picturesque San Carlos de Bariloche, Stag is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Nahuel Huapi, this restaurant serves up a diverse international menu that caters to all palates, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Guests rave about the delightful amuse-bouche surprise and standout dishes like poached eggs and trout. The ambiance is serene, enhanced by soft jazz music that complements the stunning scenery perfectly.
A Stag’s Leap! The restaurant offers a limited menu with excellently prepared courses. The presentation is beautiful and goes beyond your expectations. The wine list carries predominantly Argentinian wines giving you a wide variety of first class choices. The service is outstanding and flawless. We suggest to ask Agustin who heads the restaurant for his recommendations. He speaks fluent English & Spanish and takes hospitality to the next level. Overall the Stag was the best foodie experience in and around Bariloche. And one more thing to consider: should you immerse yourself in a romantic dinner with lots of great cocktails and wine, they have rooms too …

Last night we visited the La Casita del Árbol restaurant at the Charming Hotel, and it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. The treehouse setting is absolutely enchanting, with décor that is perfectly curated down to the smallest detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness, making the experience even more special. As for the food, every dish was exceptional—we especially enjoyed the octopus carpaccio and the lamb, both of which were perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in Bariloche. It’s an unforgettable dining experience in a truly unique setting.

Beautiful location with a wonderful view along the lake. We ordered the prix fixe 2-course dinner and both loved the meat empanada amuse bouche. Then to start I thoroughly enjoyed the Agnolotti with osso buca. Spouse had the prawns but there were at least 5 plump prawns— too much for a starter. I had the slow-cooked lamb for the main. It was tender but 1/2 was too dry to really enjoy. However, the other 1/2 was perfect and since it was overall a large portion, the best part was plenty of food for me. Spouse didn’t come close to finishing his tenderloin, but he did like everything. Both meals were beautifully plated and included some much loved vegetables (broccoli and zucchini), so welcome when most meaty meals in AR only come with potatoes. The service was excellent..to a point. As we were finishing our meal a couple at the next table engaged our server in a conversation that lasted 15 minutes. This was much too long. They should have recognized that the server had others to attend to. But he was engrossed in the conversation as well and should have cut them off to see to his other 2 tables. We finally decided to get the attention of another staff person to request our check. They would not allow us to add a tip to the credit card so we left what cash we had, not enough but then we were also miffed about the outcome of our otherwise lovely experience on our last night in Bariloche. We would still recommend Stag, we just got unlucky I guess.

Lovely dinning experience. Our server Paloma was excellent. Was expecting more of an elevated, less casual atmosphere but the food was exquisite & the staff was great. Highly recommend.

We booked a table there thinking it was a top notch place in Bariloche after finding it as first option on TripAdvisor, seeing prices and menu online but we were disillusioned. Nobody of all the people we talked to knew this place. We get there, seeing no car in their parking and the guy in reception doesn’t even greet us with a smile, but instead proceeds right away to tell us the prices with an annoyed voice. We weren’t even seated! We enter and find out the place was totally empty on a Saturday lunch time. Weird no? The view was nice, and inside looked quite refined but there must be a reason nobody was there. We felt weird and observed so we ordered two coffees which tasted awfully and happily left.

I highly recommend visiting both Charming's main restaurant, "Stag," and the charming tree house that doubles as an exclusive restaurant called "Little Stag." An unforgettable experience, filled with thoughtful gestures and attention that make Stag the best place to visit in Bariloche.

Stag is an amazing restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. The slow cooked lamb is a must with a good Malbec.

Amazing food and service! Came for Bariloche a la carta and had a three course meal (I added pictures of each course). The food was delicious, the terrace outside was lovely, we had a beautiful sunny day and the view of the lake was breathtaking. Lunch on a Wednesday was really quiet, so we stayed after enjoying the sun and the view. The staff were really polite and accommodating, I 100% recommend this place. Coffee was delicious too!
