As a first time parent sending their only child off into the world to travel this place is absolutely top notch. Excellent location, clean excellently appointed rooms and bathrooms and I cannot emphasize enough the quality of the staff is TOP NOTCH. When I hadn’t heard from my son I reached out to the staff to see if he were around, the staff checked and informed me that he wasn’t. Within an hour or so they reached out to me to let me know my son had gone hiking with others from the hostel and would keep me appraised of when he returned. Above and beyond.

Highly recommend! have stayed in many hostels all over the world but this is definitely in the top rated. Absolutely lovely little gem on the top floor with a incredible view and cozy vibe. The staff is lovely and good comfort. Extended my stay for a whole week that says enough :)

Great hostel. I stayed there for over a week. The staff are very nice and helpful. Perfect location. Good rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is very large with many types of spices and a lot of cooking equipment. The breakfast is very good, with fresh bread. It includes boiled eggs, apples, oranges, jams, yogurt, milk, butter, and more.

Extremely inviting and comfortable. Super helpful and capable staff. We felt completely at home. The location is convenient to beautiful parks, scenery, and downtown shopping and restaurants. We rented a car but probably we didn’t need one. Public bus services frequently just outside. We will definitely return.

The staff are incredibly warm, always smiling, and ready to help you with absolutely everything — from arranging a reliable taxi or airport transfer to recommending the best-kept local secrets that no tourist would ever discover on their own. Their advice is truly invaluable and can transform your entire stay. They even offer small thoughtful touches, like a custom room key with a unique photo on it — which they can hold for you at reception while you’re out, saving space in your pockets. The amenities are exceptional: top-notch hairdryers that dry your hair quickly and gently, handmade high-quality towels that feel great on the skin, and golden padlocks for securing your valuables in a safe and designated area of the hostel. During rainy or snowy days, they’ll even lend you high-quality wind- and snow-resistant umbrellas so you can explore comfortably and stay dry. The common areas are cozy, welcoming, and offer a breathtaking view. This place is a true melting pot, where travelers from all over the world — as well as friendly locals — come together. You’ll always hear fascinating stories and walk away with new perspectives. There are plenty of board and card games available, free of charge, perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing or hiking. The staff also organize fantastic social events to help guests connect. Thanks to this, I’ve made lasting friendships here — sharing unforgettable moments that I still cherish. And the breakfast? Simply outstanding. It surpasses what you’d expect from most gourmet restaurants. From specialty coffee and freshly baked breads to homemade jams and the iconic Argentinian dulce de leche, every bite is a joy. They also serve perfectly boiled free-range eggs sourced from local Patagonian farms, with a well-balanced mix of sweet and savory options to fuel your day on the slopes or trails. The entire place is spotlessly clean and clearly well-maintained. The rooms feature some of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, complete with thick handmade Patagonian wool blankets that keep you warm and cozy. The views from the rooms — of the lake, mountains, and night sky — are simply magical. The peaceful silence makes it feel like a true retreat. On my last night, I had booked a room in a famous five-star hotel nearby. It took just a few minutes to realize I had made a mistake. I found myself coming straight back to this heavenly place. The staff welcomed me with open arms — no questions asked — as if it were my first visit all over again.
