Excellent, friendly service.
I had the moist Brisket, very tasty. Small portion, 4 slices, for the $$. Comes with corn bread.
Wife had the pulled chicken, too salty for her. Sent it back for the turkey, only slightly better. Mac & cheese was good.
Not a pleasant experience. 🙁

This restaurant blew us away. We were in the area due to my other half's radiation treatments and we just searched for restaurants near us. Mission BBQ popped up and we thought let's try it out. The customer service was amazing. We were greeted coming in and when we got to the cashier we mentioned it was our 1st time. The cashier took time to walk around and discuss the menu with us. Then, once grabbing our food, someone came over and was very helpful in explaining the sauces, options, and just explaining the missions behind the restaurant. At noon, everyone stopped and we stood for the National Anthem. It had a great environment and the food was amazing. I got the ribs and my other half got the pulled pork. For sides the potato salad, beans, and corn bread were all delicious. The meal was some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time. Strongly recommend this place!

I have been here many times before and will continue for many more meals in the future as the BBQ here is the best in town! Not only the food is incredible, but the customer service is second to none. Jamie made us feel welcome and as it was my girlfriend's first time here, she treated us to free dessert and wrote a very kind message along with it. I went to mission bbq for the first time a couple of days ago. I got the pulled pork sandwich and the side of Mac and cheese. Both were really good! I liked that they had the different sauces on the table. We liked the food so much we decided to try the desserts as-well. We got the limited editions red velvet and the banana pudding. Omg they were both so great I’m sad the red velvet is going away!
My favorite part of the night however was when we met Jamie. She started up a conversation with my boyfriend and I and you could really tell she cares so much about the restaurant, its mission, and the people it serves. It was an absolute pleasure to talk with her and she really made the place feel so very welcoming. Jamie is such a treasure and got us another two red velvets for the road (picture attached). I had such a great time at mission bbq and will 100% go back very soon! Thank you Jamie for making our visit so very special!

As far as McDonald's go, Im glad this location thats near me is consistent. Online pick up orders are accurate and typically ready. If they're busy there might be a short wait depending on how big your order is. Staff aren't rude, straight forward and efficient. The new McDonald's interiors feel cold and clinical compare to how colorful they were when I was growing up. But that's not this locations fault, that's corporate. There's a median you need to look out for when driving at night at the entrance, you can tell lots of people hit it lol.

If you are a male without a narcotic or alcohol problem, and have never been arrested, this place will only offer you a shared room with at least 3 other people for $1000 a month. If you refuse this offer, they will only get you a bus ticket out of Sarasota if they can verify you have a roof over your head at your destination. We love Bayside. We started in the Lakewood campus but eventually started going to Fruitville because it's much closer to home. The fruitville campus has a much smaller feel and is a more vocal church. Lots of amens and hands in the air. Lots of Jesus lovers letting everyone know. This is a true Bible church, there's no opinions or what's trending worship here. Just Bible teaching and God worshipping the way God meant it to be.
The spirit is here and you can feel it.
There are 3 services, the music is good and the worship is amazing.

We attended the Sarasota first United Methodist Church for Easter Services 2024.. We were greeted warmly by members, and invited To place flowers on the Easter cross. This beautiful sanctuary had absolutely stunning stained glass windows! The music was absolutely outstanding —with pipe organ, full choir, brass and drums. Service was traditional with Easter Bible readings, messages, hymns, and prayers.
All in all and absolutely wonderful Easter morning: we felt that we were greeted and participated fully as a part of this Christian community and worship.

Ms Ciara has been the Sarasota Opera’s harpist for over 20 years. She performed some of her latest CD called A Ticket Home. Very eclectic and different combining pop and classical.

The Early Care Center at First United Methodist Church is, in my opinion, the best daycare facility in Sarasota. I could not be more pleased with the care that my little girl has received there. We started when she was 3 months old and although it was difficult to imagine leaving her anywhere, knowing she was in such wonderful care made it easy. I went there on the recommendation of many friends and I continue to recommend it to everyone I know. Almost all of the staff have been there for many years, which is a statement unto itself. They always welcomed me to come and visit anytime and when I arrived, I always found my baby to be happy and well cared for. The staff in the infant room are amazing and in my opinion, are priceless. They are knowledgeable, kind and they truly love the babies in their care (and the babies love them back!)
I cannot say enough about ECC - we have been happy from day 1 and now that my little one has moved up into the next class, she continues to thrive, learning new things each week and amazing us along the way. My only advice would be to get on the waiting list early because this daycare is in demand and often does not have openings (especially for babies!)

I was able to watch previous services and events because they share them online through Boxcast. I knew I wanted to check this church out in person. I walked into this Church on a chilly Sunday morning in November of 2011 and haven't missed a worship service since.
Church of the Redeemer is absolutely wonderful and the best Church I have ever attended. I left the practice of regular worship in my 20s and made a bold step in 2011 to "see what Church is all about" during a time that I felt something was missing.
To my amazement, it was the incredible, life fulfilling elements of the Body and Blood and a vibrant parish with incredibly talented clergy, that filled that void.
And the music! Beautiful, traditional Anglican Choir. I've gone from just regular attendance to serving the Mass on a regular basis.
Church of the Redeemer Sarasota is a welcoming, traditional parish centered on the Bible and the Book of Common Prayer. Redeemer is one of the most vibrant parishes that I have experienced in the Anglican community.
There is something for everyone at this church and you will feel welcome from the first usher greeting. The liturgy is reverent and beautiful. Those accustomed to a traditional Catholic service will feel at home, but those accustomed to a more Protestant service won't feel awkward. Communion (in both kinds) is administered every Sunday.

I love Saturday night services and the potluck after. My son and I used to go with my mom every Saturday. The church has great youth programs. The church is conveniently located downtown, which is very central. They always offer special events and encourage community. When my mom passed we had her memorial service there, it was beautiful! The best part was the eulogy in the garden, where we got plaques for each of our family members on the wall. If you’re looking for a traditional church, this is definitely my favorite one. And definitely check out the healing services on Saturday nights.

Most beautiful Liturgy and amazing choral music elevates worship to the highest levels I’ve experienced anywhere. Preaching is always solid and relevant and sometimes very funny! Great congregations whichever service. And so many Masses to choose from on Sunday. My son has been a student at FELC for 1.5 years and we are about to enroll his sister. We are so excited for her to share the happiness, love and learning her brother recieves daily. Unfortunately, he got Dementia and had to leave his home in GulfGate for Savannah Grande Assisted Living Center where he had a stroke/heart attack and died.
