We came here for dinner as a group of 9, and though they technically are able to accommodate large groups, we weren't seated until at least 40 minutes after requesting a table (they initially estimated 20 minutes). Additionally, food came out very slow and scattered. But the dishes were excellent and we didn't have any trouble once the food arrived! The atmosphere was also fantastic as we were out by the water and were able to watch the sun set as we dined. The photos in this post are not all the dishes, but I feel personally that the Seafood Sampler Platter could have had a little more on the plate. For the price that it was, I was expecting a little more. But it tasted great regardless. And the cucumber salad on the side was delicious! Would love to come back here another time, but with a much smaller group!

Our waitress Anna was the Gold standard. She was attentive, friendly, gave great advice, and treated us with so much kindness and respect. The restaurant is located beside the inlet. The views are beautiful. We ate outside and enjoyed the sounds of soothing tropical music and distant seagulls. We were seated right away and Anna came right over. We had a real steak sandwich and shrimp po’boy. We shared a large salad and had drinks. It was like we were transported to the Caribbean. My only concern was the ladies restroom. Unfortunately, the nor’easter did damage with flooding to many businesses. They were using a converted trailer or rail car for the bathroom. The steps were high and the bathroom was tiny. We will definitely be returning. We had spectacular food, views, and service. Thank you for making our long overdue Honeymoon even better.

This pub/restaurant is in the Sheraton across the driveway from the Convention Center, so it’s a very quick walk from the conference. Beer and service have been great. Food first time was good having their blue crab fry’s and blue crab cakes, only improvement I would recommend is getting the fries crispier and the gravy/bisque makes them soggy quick. Just got done having dinner there this time and again had good beer and service. However the food was extremely lacking. Tried their prime rib and from experience cooking it for years this one came from the freeze due to texture and the fat was still ice cold in several spots. Granted I came in early 5 o’clock but the place was dead, at least the could have warmed it back up so that there were no icy parts.

There were 3 people working the front of the restaurant and they spent most of their time sitting in a booth together eating and laughing, meanwhile I couldn't even get a refill of water till the end of my meal. I guess one of the things that made Gypsy better was half the venue wasn’t reserve areas like Nola’s. Groups could reserve an area and it would be roped off but if no one reserved it then it was open to everyone. On this night all of the reserved areas were empty until the second band when two groups came in to take up most of one side of the reserved area. Gypsy has lots of high top tables which are great for dance venues. We still stay at Borgata but go to other casinos each night to whichever has the best live music and dancing that night. The more we go to Oceans the more we talk about switching from Borgata to Oceans. We can’t have Gold level status at two casinos so we have to pick. Nola’s might finally get us to switch casinos.

We were late for our reservation and also needed special accomodation for an elder in our group and the manager as well as the host were hands-on doing the most to get us a table asap and also provoded with seating while waiting. The two cocktails I had were amazing. Same drink with the prune vodka. They tasted the same and very well drafted both times. The red snapper was okay, perhaps overdone. The guava bbq wings were very good as well as the beef empanadas. However no one brought attention to the piquant sauce that came out with the wings. The waiter was very personable and nice but he often was gone and we have to wait for him to re-appear. Maybe he was overworked and was not his fault but it diminishes the positive experience. I know we ordered a 4th dish but I don't remember it now ( maybe it was called fried cheese). My recommendation is to use a more potent exhausting fan for the grill and the rest of the restaurant, as well. It was just too much smoke and grease floating in the air. The strong smell of food and the smoke took so much away.

We were seated immediately and served our drinks right away. Our food came out soon after we placed our order. The drinks were good and so was the food. Front desk was confusing and not properly organized. While I was waiting in line, the hostess who appeared to be overheated, was taking her time and waiting for me to approach her, even though there was a long line of people in front of me waiting to be seated. She stopped for a few minutes until someone who appeared to be a manager asked who wanted to be seated at the bar with a shorter waiting time. When I asked if the menu will be the same I was told; "not sure, I can't guarantee you". After 20min. waiting we sat and order the salmon dinner plate. It was dry. The green beans were undercooked and the mashed potatoes were very dry and lumpy. I'm guessing they were rushing so much in the kitchen that food was not prepared properly. You can see in the pictures the servers waiting forfood that's been lined up on the counter. If you go, try the Fajitas, they look really good. It was a large plate with add on. Apps were great and service was great until I made a comment to the waitress about my steak being overcooked as I asked for a medium well steak She immediately asked me to see the inside of it. On a side note, the celebrity fascination all over the restaurant is weird. The Kardashians staring down at me while I'm trying to eat was unnerving. If you want a crazy extravagant milkshake or cocktail/mocktail (loved seeing them a few dollars cheaper without alcohol) and rainbow sliders, this is a fun experience. The Chelsea is a great little spot, especially if you're running into AC for a concert or show. It's close to the beach and the casinos as need may be. The staff are super friendly, we were greeted and checked in by Will who was awesome and made us feel welcome. AC is what AC is, so there's no getting around the fact that there are folks struggling there, but the Chelsea is a nice little oasis in the midst of the good and the bad, that gave us a super clean, straight forward, well appointed room as a homebase for our night in AC. They have cabanas for rent and direct beach access. They had an issue with being understaffed when we last visited. The bar was full on both sides when we arrived. We finally got served almost 30 minutes later when the backup bartender arrived. NOT GOOD!! But he was very apologetic and attentive. The drinks are pricey here. $9 for a beer and $13 for cocktails. We were literally the second customers. The cold food on the buffet was left uncovered and had flies on it. This wasn’t a major concern for us as we specifically came for the lobster and snow crab.
