Da wir in der Nebensaison da waren, waren wir die einzigen Gäste, wodurch wir totale Ruhe hatten und die Natur absolut genießen konnten.

As the jungle suggests it is in the middle of a lots of trees with monkeys, squirrels and iguanas around. It is away from the busy city traffic with only the sounds of birds and monkeys around. The rooms are welcoming, with plenty of room and one of the most tasteful interior. One can see that Indika and his family thoughtfully designed and built the rooms by themselves. Our highlight however where Indica and his whole family who personally cook and service the whole place. We had dinner and breakfast which were incredibly tasty. You can find the place a little outside from Galle. Just 15 minutes away with a Tuktuk. Also a massage can be booked via Indika which was perfect! Beautiful boutique hotel, with every detail thought through, designed and executed. Staff are great, friendly, but not over the top. Food is great, whatever we ordered and ate was very tasty. The only reason why I do not give 5 stars is because we are a family of vegetarians and vegetarian options on the menu were very limited. Even though we only stayed a few days the food got quite repetitive. It is a small hotel, so they do not keep a lot of ingredients in the kitchen and a few times they run out of simple things like limes and claimed they could not buy them. The location is perfect, right on the ocean. The furniture is comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and always available. They have a turn down service complete with bananas. The only critique is that my shower did not have hot water. It was a minor inconvenience and it did not ruin my experience. The rooms are quite bright in the morning. We stayed in Room 8 which is a King Suite with garden, pool, and sea view and private balcony. The room was lovely, clean and very spacious. The team were really very good and helped to make our experience a memorable one – they played cricket on the beach one evening with my husband and daughter and also took us along the beach at sunset another night to see baby turtles being released which was unexpected and magical. We specifically want to mention Ranga, as he was friendly, efficient and very likeable. The chef was excellent and all of the food was delicious – I loved the breakfasts which started with a beautifully presented plate of fruit and fresh fruit juice for each of us followed by whatever we ordered from the menu. Typically we go to Galle for the beach but the location is right infront of a main road but it is a true hidden peace of solitary crafted with art and craft. Everywhere you turn you have something to spot and enjoy. The plunge pool, verandah, dinning area and the bedrooms are the best. On a special note I want to thank to thank the staff for helping me to make my daughter's birthday extra special taking my instructions to arrange the breakfast table and the Kiribath clover cake. They were extremely supportive, attentive and friendly. Especially Charith was a gteat host. I wasn't very happy hapoy with the bathroom it was more dark and lack ventilation. But it was kept clean.

The house,pool and sea view are all lovely. The staff Kumara and Sajith were fantastic. They worked discretely in the background and did so much more than expected.
