The history behind the walls is fascinating, with a 300yo stone oven that used to serve the whole Fort, and they updated it with incred taste and elegance. The food was very special, we had Oxtail Benedict and Turkish Eggs for breakfast, and they both were delightful and even though at first the portions looked small, they left us full for hours. The traditional iced coffee is a perfectly blended latte at the best price we’ve found :) The ambiance music and the flawless service are a great plus. This is not my first time here. The ambience and decor has always been great and upgraded every time I come here. The place is special because this is the oldest tea room in the fort and is currently run by the owner/founder's 3rd generation. The portions are big but the pocket stays the same size, because the food does not cost much. They have a buch fo short eats, meals and beverage options. Damendra , the manager was extremely helpful and welcoming. Excellent service. I had a Cafe Latte and a chocolate croissant. The latte was good, but the croissant wasn’t great. Quite dry and even more dried up chocolate coatings. The best thing about the place was the calming ambience created by the pastel yellow and white interior and most importantly the profusion of plants including flowering pots. As an avid plant lover, it was the best kind of place for me to unwind. WiFi connectivity was also good and enabled me to shoot out a few work mails while having my coffee.
