Amazing guesthouse at an amazing location.
The room is clean and spacious, and the hot water actually works here! There's a rooftop where you can chill or practice yoga. The location is right in the middle of the lakeside so almost everything you need is a walking distance. The staff are kind and professional. I didn't go but they have a cafe/bar right near the entrance too. They have cozy couches and books around where you can relax if you want.
Everything was perfect in this guesthouse. I would love to come back again!

I ended up staying in the mountain house for several weeks. The family is so welcoming and kind and the home-made yoghurt and fresh organic vegetables and fruit are just amazing! The whole hotel including rooms are very, very clean! I can recommend this hotel 100 % and am already looking forward to coming back at some point! They also have a nice roof top with amazing view over the mountains and a yoga & meditation room with yoga mats. In general this place is very calm but still it only takes a 5 min walk to lakeside. I had such lovely stay at the mountain house, which explains why I keep coming back. The family that runs the guesthouse is so kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the whole premise is well maintained. Location is great as well, as the guesthouse is located in the center but also tucked away in a not so busy side street. My partner and me stayed for around two weeks and booked a great hike here! It is run by an incredibly warm and generous local family. The rooms were very clean and the view of Mount Fishtail right from the balcony was an absolute highlight. (I attached a picture from that beautiful view!) The location is perfect, the lake is less than 10 minutes away and there are tasty restaurants everywhere around, but you can relax in the room without any noise as well. We also booked our 9-days hike here, which was very easy and everything was well organised.
My favourite part of the was talking to the family, getting to know them better and picking up cooking tips for a homemade dhal bat. What a lovely experience! I am very grateful for this time and hope to come back soon. All the best to you!

Incredible view from room 403!!! Above all the really kindness service of the owner and her daughter is a view. I love balcony view from 403. Just open the door and feel a good breath from the wind come through us. So nice!!! At the first sight me and my friend would to try for a night here. But after arrived to the 4th floor, the definitely make decision to stay 2 more nights.
Well , the roof top, 5th floor is so great with the kitchen where i can do my breakfast. And there is a meditation room also.

Great place to stay, best location. The family that runs Beli guesthouse take a lot of pride in this place. Its spotless and quiet. I would definitely return. Room 403 had fantastic views of the lake.
If you like to cook, the kitchen is on the 5th floor. I even kept a 1000ml tub of ice cream in the very cold freezer to have in the evenings.

Nobody ever noticed in reviews that actually there are two slightly different guesthouses one next to another, both posted under the same title. The second is just little above and has title on its board: Peace Guesthouse & Cottage. That one is someway better maintained and provides better kitchen with dining tables.
Indeed even so, here too many emotional overrated reviews, to my opinion. The place is good especially for its solitude while being near popular touristic area. But overall rating is affectively pumped up.
The facilities are very simple, even can say low-level. You have to climb up a street lane towards hill and then more stairs upper to reach the house.

The room is very clean and pleasant. We loved the cosy outdoor area with garden furniture and lots of plants. The view from the rooftop is exceptional. It is very well located, close to the centre of Lakeside but far enough away to be quiet.
The most positive point is the staff, who is very friendly, always there to answer questions and help us to organise our trip as well as possible.
We came back after our trek because we felt so comfortable there.

Nanohana a été notre point d'ancrage à Pokhara entre les differents treks et activité ( on y est reste quasiment deux semaines en cumulé). Les chambres au dernier étage sont très calme et spacieuses. 今回はほとんどの日が満室で、1日だけの滞在でしたが、何から何までお世話になりました。
違う宿に泊まっているにも関わらず、荷物を預かってくれたり、旅のアドバイスをしてくれたり、私がネパール仲良くなったお友達(宿泊客でもなんでもない)ツアーの手配を無料でしてくれ、しかもピックアップの場所まで連れて行ってくれたりと、こんなにも親切な人世の中に存在するんか？という感じです。

The room we chose on the 3rd floor with its own verandah offered clean comfort and privacy, which we thoroughly enjoyed with an open sky scenic view of the hills without obstruction or ugly rooftops. The guest house is a short walk to a nearby park that shares its ground with a renowned Shiva and Hanuman temple.
The host, Raj, was very helpful. When we approached him for medical advice on food poisoning, he immediately contacted his son, a medical officer at Green Pastures Hospital nearby, to receive us. The treatment received was holistic by Dr Paul.
Raj also shared with us ways to explore pokhara on a budget. We always had a good laugh conversing with each other. He's a good-hearted man, and his family are wonderful people.

This relatively small 3 storied guest house with only 5 but spacious rooms is run by a family who live downstairs and first/second floors are for guests. Only 5-7 minutes walk from the lakeside in a nice and quiet neighborhood which is perfect.
The owner, Mr. Ekraj Adhikari, is a super nice and kind gentleman and also very professional with lots of interesting stories. He can also help with bus/flight tickets and other touring arrangements and information, if needed.
Property is absolutely home-like cozy and neat with hot water, wifi and a lots of books! Nice little lawn with garden to sit or to have foods. View of Annapurna range from the rooftop is a bonus (on a clear sunny day of course). They also have an adorable dog named Kalu.
Healthy and tasty breakfast at a very convenient cost. For lunch and dinner, they serve Nepali food mostly which I didn't have though.
As I've been to Pokhara quite a few times, this has been the best place to stay so far given the very convenient rent, excellent hospitality and services. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed.
Update: went back there after 6 years and it's still great!

Having stayed on several places in Pokhara and in Nepal I have to say this is a true hidden gem.
It’s a family business and for that they have my heart. The place sits a little farther from the main road, so it’s has no noise from the main road. It also makes it a little harder to find but for us it was a plus.
The view from the top room was amazing. Sun entering the whole room all day, we just spent our entire afternoon enjoying it.
Room was really clean and the bathroom was one of the best I’ve been in Nepal.
Owner turned the hot water on just for us and was really great.
Talking about the owner he was really friendly, always kind and helped us with the taxi.
Lastly the food. Food was really good. Comparable to a really good restaurant. They have a tiny farm, so a lot of things are fresh vegetables.
I would come back here any time, any day. Specially if I need some rest in a place far from everyone.

My experience at Panoramic View Guesthouse was not very good to say the least.
Rooms: the rooms on the top floor are new and presentable. The lower-floor rooms don't do justice to the high cost (NRs 3500) they charge (I've posted pictures both). One of the bathrooms had broken toilet flush, no handspray. The other room smelled of mold and beds not kept well.
Accessibility: No parking space. You have to park on street and walk steep downhill for upto 5 minutes depending on your fitness. Not good for elderly or disabled.

Couldn’t recommend Pushpa Guest House enough! Raj, Anita and their 2 kids are the loveliest people who make you feel so welcome in their Guest House.
I stayed here for a few weeks last year and again this year and it honestly feels like I’m coming home.
Nice big clean rooms, hot water, fans, TVs (which even have English channels... a rarity in Nepal) and the location is second to none. Literally just off the main drag in Pokhara, so you get the convenience without the noise.
Raj will also help you out with any questions and can arrange any of your trekking needs with his company Himalayan Dreamland Trekking which I used last year.
All this at a more than fair price too!!

Not enough can be said about how much we enjoyed staying at Pushpa and getting to know Raj. He's truly a fantastic guy and always tried to help us with our questions. He never pushed us to choose anything and gave us the best options - from cheapest to most comfortable and told us what he recommends too (and his recommendations were never geared towards most expensive) so we never felt like he was trying to sell us services all the time, unlike other guest houses. We realised that when we compared the price our Kathmandu hostel charged for a bus vs what Raj got us to go back to Kathmandu. He knows a lot about trekking too so he helped us make our itinerary and sat down with us many times to give us tips. Stayed a night for 250 npr in a double room thay had air-conditioning.
The room itself was small but what I'd expect in such a location for such a price. We were in a rush, shown the room, checked it had AC and accepted it and left for dinner.
Reception is unmanned after a certain time. We arrived back from dinner fairly late and that's when we noticed the bedding... duvet cover was very dirty. Bed sheet was worse, and pillow cases worse still. The pillow within the case should have been white in colour but was actually several different shades of brown.
We decided not to use the duvet or pillow... it was that disgusting. Made the stay very uncomfortable.
I was unable to sleep that night.. made the hotel stay felt like an overpriced bathroom break.
Oh, and there was only one towel in the room.

Très sympathique guesthouse familiale découverte il y a 13 ans. J'y suis revenue plusieurs fois avec plaisir au cours de mes voyages au Népal. Les chambres sont simples mais elles ont le confort nécessaire. La literie est bonne. Le nec plus ultra est la vue sur le lac quelle que soit la chambre, on peut même apprécier le coucher de soleil depuis son lit ou sur le balcon en dégustant une bière locale.

Suraj et Sudip, Les 2 fils de L'établissement sont aussi pilotes de parapente. Je les recommande vivement. New Tourist Guesthouse is an oasis of relaxation in midst of the buzzing lakeside district. Its run by a very kind and heartfull family. They support you with everything that you need and they have good food.
Thats why my girlfriend and me stayed there again and again in the course of our 3 month nepal trip and we didn't want to go anywhere else. We stayed in the low budget and the more expensive rooms and both had excellent value for money.
We did a lot of Yoga on the Rooftop. The Guesthouse is perfect for long term staying.

The internal garden is beautifully maintained and a peaceful, cool spot for reading, relaxing, reflecting and even a yoga session was arranged, and views of Annapurna from the rooftop are a special bonus.

I loved staying at Vagabond Guest House. The guest house is perfectly located within walking distance to the center of lakeside. Me and my family felt very well taken care of and looked after by Satish and his family. The rooms were cozy and comfortable with big windows to bring in lots of light. It was a Lovely stay here. The Hotel is located off the main road, down a quiet trail. The light filled rooms on look the central courtyard and there are beautiful potted plants around. We had a really nice stay. 🪴✨
We stayed in the double room and the Bed was super comfy and the showers were hot!
Staff were kind and helpful. We stayed at another hotel in the area but definitely preferred this one. We would stay again here anytime as the ambiance was very peaceful. A little gem in Pokhara.

I stayed at Thanapati Guest House in Pokhara for a few nights in May and it was an excellent choice in terms of value for money. The price was very reasonable, yet the guesthouse was clean, tidy and offered a fantastic view of the city and lake from the shared balconies.
The rooms were neat and comfortable, with all the basic amenities. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance. You will need to take a little stroll, but that is part of the charm.

I spend a whole month with the owner Kebi and his family. They are lovely people and it felt like they welcomed me into their family. The hotel is placed right outside of the city, which is a plus, since you have to walk only approximately 10 minutes to be in the city, while on the same time you can enjoy the beautiful nature of the big Phewa-Lake and the forest and hills surrounding it. You also have a stunning view on the lake from the balcony and from a lot of the rooms.

I spent about 2 months in pokhara of which I've stayed many nights in the tranquile water guest house and I enjoyed it very much! It is quiet, clean and cozy. Everything you need is in walking distance, the bus stop is very close and the view is stunning! Staying at Tranquil Water Guesthouse was absolutely the right decision. The Guesthouse is located out of the super touristic area, just around the corner after the busy side of Pokhara. The rooms are big and nice, the view of the lake and surrounding is amazing, there is plenty of space overall, on the top there is space for doing yoga and while we went hiking to the Annapurna Circuit we could leave our bicycles and bags there. The offered food is very tasty (and cheaper compared to eat outside), they made us try some special Nepali food, they gave us advices about the permits (which they offer to arrange if needed) and they checked us last minute the bus tickets to Besisahar and a Taxi early in the morning (Kibi, the owner also works in a tourist agency and was a guide and porter most of his life). They really try to give the best service to travellers and are very nice and friendly people. We are happy to come back soon :)!

This is the most peaceful spot in Pokhara. Right next to the trail up Sarangkot which has sunrises you will never forget. Catch the sunsets over the lake from right outside your room. This is a realky nice place. I came for a few days but stayed almost 2 weeks - that should say enough.
It is a small family guesthouse und you can really feel at home: there is an inndoor and outdoor kitchen where you can make coffee or cook a meal watching the sun rise or set; you can get fresh buffalo milk mornings and evenings; join the family for a meal or sit with them around the fire if you wan to, but if you prefer privacy you just stay in the guesthouse which is a few meters above the family house.
The rooms and the whole place are cleaned regularly so it is really clean.
I enjoyed the quiet just 30 minutes walking from lakeside (there is also a bus half way but you will still have to climb up the hill) and the great day walks.
The family is very nice and helpful helping with advice, taking people up to viewpoints or taking you on the motorbike.
So itcwas a very relaxed and enjoyable stay at gorgeous village.

I spent 6 months at the property throughout the COVID 19 lockdown and couldn’t have asked for more. Incredible views over Phewa lake and lakeside, peaceful, quiet and very relaxed atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for more from the hosts who did everything they could for me and welcomed me into their family, the cooked meals were lovely but kitchen facilities are also provided which really helped. This is best place I’ve stayed throughout my traveling adventures and I would highly recommend them
