We checked in around 11PM on Friday night and the man at the front desk was not courteous, friendly or helpful. Just zero personality. Barely answered questions we had for him - seemed like we bothered him checking in honestly. The rooms were spacious and even though it's a bit dated, the room was clean and we had good shower pressure and hot water which I always appreciate. Now the beds need updating. The pillows were terrible (lumpy and small - but I think we had 6 on the bed) and the mattress was springy. The sheets however were soft and plentiful and that helped. Liked the little terrace and the ability to open the windows to better appreciate the view and cool air. Didn't love the tiny lot across the street for self parking. You have to share that lot with people eating at Woody's restaurant and there are maybe only 20 spots there. A couple times we had to drive around for a few minutes to wait for a spot to open.

The wedding and reception were held at the hotel and everything was perfect! The staff really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and didn't need anything, prompt on clearing any dishes, and just pleasant to be around. We got in late but plenty of food options nearby within walking distance that are open until about 11pm. Our family of 5 including a smallish dog enjoyed our 2 queen beds on the 3rd floor. Parking lot just next door cost money but convenient. We had bikes on top of the car so appreciated it wasn't all a garage. I took my son and his friend to his first concert at Red Rocks, so I booked is rooms at Orgin because of is location and shuttle service to the venue. What they fail to tell you when you book, is that the shuttle service is $60 per person for a 6 mile round trip ride. I was a little disappointed with that. The rooms were nice. Only problem was that my room had a few dirty, crusty rags on the back of the toilet along with a couple miscellaneous screws that went to who knows what? The restaurant had great food and a very nice server. Only problem was she was all by herself and had her hands full with about 6-7 other tables to trend to, so service was slow. This is 5 minutes from Red Rocks amphitheater and they provided a shuttle. The pictures were beautiful and reviews seemed good so we thought we might as well stay here so we don’t have to drive so far after the concert. The only problem, that shuttle is $60 a person. Yes! You read that right, $60 per person. We found that out at check in. We witnessed several people checking in with the same realization. The guy at the desk (who seemed tired of saying the same thing over and over again) suggested we get there early to park. We got to red rocks at 4:30 for a 7:30 concert and the parking was already packed. After the concert the police had all roads going towards the hotel blocked off, forcing us to take the long way which took 24 minutes after sitting in the red rocks traffic to just get out. So that convince that we booked this hotel for was out the window. Then there was the hotel itself. I’m sure this once was a beautiful hotel and the lobby still is but everything else is beat up and dirty. In our room the curtains were broken letting light in from all the lights outside and the sun in the next morning. The beds were awful and so were the pillows. Light fixtures, tables, cushions, all beat to death in need of repair and deep cleaning. Matter of fact the whole hotel minus the lobby was in need of a deep cleaning. We ordered a French press coffee to be delivered to our room at 8:30 am. It was on time but no water. We had to leave the room to get water to make the coffee ourselves which defeated the purpose of delivering it to our room. Parking was also an issue. It was busy because of the concert. They had buses in the parking lot right at the door so we had to park and walk forever to get in the hotel because there were so many cars and buses. We were in Colorado for 7 days. This was our 3rd hotel and for the price we paid to stay here it was absolutely overpriced. The worst hotel of our trip for the same price. If we ever visit Red Rocks again we will not be staying here. We could have stayed in a nicer hotel away from red rocks for the money and still drove the same amount of time.

I didn't know much about the hotel before arriving. I was completely blown away! We arrived on Friday afternoon to the sounds of live music on the patio and were able to enjoy drinks and apps outside. Their patio is truly beautiful and the hotel room was clean and modern. Breakfast was included with the stay and served in the restaurant with the ability to eat on the patio. For lunch and dinner, we ordered from both the kitchen and the BBQ food truck. All their food was great. The hotel is a reasonable walk to the Golden's main street - it was about a 15 minute walk on a quiet street to get to Woody's Pizza. If you don't want to walk, you could easily drive or take one of the hotel's bikes! They provide free standard and e-bikes (plus locks!) for your use. We used the e-bikes to explore Golden one morning and they worked wonderfully. I highly recommend staying here - even if you are a local!

It is perfectly located on the bike trails in Boulder if you are riding! The first thing we saw was dog apparel treats, and toys in a vending machine which we had to buy our granddog something. The drinks were great as was the service! We ordered the Fried green tomato BLT to split between myself and my wife. The fries were delicious and the thick cut bacon was a great addition. I would suggest using two tomatoes as my wife's half of the sandwich only had a small piece giving the impression that they only placed one large tomato on the sandwich prior to cutting. The bread could have been a little less toasted as the crust was hard to bite through in some parts. The flavors though blended together marvelously and it was definitely not soggy! Overall would highly recommend.

WOW! Right off the bat, we loved the vibe of this hotel when we first came in to tour it. My recommendation is to book events early. We were looking into room blocks in February/March 2024 for our wedding in October 2025. We were told two other couples were also looking at the hotel for their wedding on our same weekend. Dani was so great to work with in coordinating the room block logistics AND welcome party details. She is SO patient and great at problem-solving, and I very much appreciated her! I have to give the biggest shoutout to the front desk staff for being total rockstars and helping me hand out my wedding favors. Not only did they hand them out at check-in, but they also cleared space in their freezer for my favors (cookies). We had our welcome party in the prospect room/partial patio. It was such a fun time!! The views are incredible, and the live music was a fun touch! The only reason service is a 3 is because our event was from 5-8pm, but we only had food service until 6:30pm and we weren't told that in advance. We all got to eat, and the dinner was great, but we did feel rushed which wasn't ideal. Throughout the weekend, our guests loved their stay, especially its proximity to the river trail and downtown Golden. We loved the suites!! The corner king is GREAT for parents of the bride/groom as it's spacious and allows plenty of room for gathering. The Outfitter, the honeymoon suite, was romantic and we really enjoyed staying there. Definitely recommend getting ready in The Ripple - it sleeps 7 and has 2 bathrooms. There is a huge living room with plenty of space to get ready, with lots of outlets.

So mind boggling to pay so much for a motel experience rather than hotel experience. Lastly, when we went and sat down in the bar/restaurant area to purchase some food, we eventually left empty-handed as the waitress and waiter almost seemed to avoid us. There was a large gathering of people dining at the moment that seemed to have had priority over us. After waiting for over 30 minutes to try to even place an order, we eventually gave up. I cannot wait to go back. The home is so adorable outside and inside. So many colorful flowers and comfy porch furniture to sit outside. The inside is full of vintage things and very old family photographs which is so cool. The bedrooms in the home are upstairs so you do have to walk luggage up the stairs. We stayed in the Green Room and I wouldnt have it any other way. The room was so cute and complete with green carpet (that was clean and comfy). Comfy bed, and has a bath tub. Nice size closet to store your things. Breakfast is made every morning and was delicious and different each time. It was so nice getting to meet other guests, and we loved hearing all of the stories from the owners. The owners are absolute angels and are so sweet. I hope they can continue this business for years to come so we can continue coming here. The location is PERFECTION. It's a very short and easy 5 minute walk to everything downtown. The highlight for us was the downstairs train room—really impressive and definitely worth checking out. We also got to push the train wheel, which was surprisingly fun! The manager ultimately told us all she could do for the room was apologize because we booked through a third party and she “doesn’t trust hotels.com to refund a discount, [she] had to refund one other customer and they never got their money” so she just wasn’t going to do it. Overall one of the worst, and most potentially dangerous, hotel experiences I’ve had yet but the cleanliness and breakfast made it tolerable.

The complimentary breakfast options are so limited. There is no respect to people's dietary preferences. People have vegetarian and vegan dietary choices due to personal and religiious reasons. The bathroom tub faucet keeps leaking. The bathroom door doesn’t close properly and has lots of paint peeled. The kitchen had all the utensils but they were messy and not clean. If you are a vegetarian 🌱and have any food restrictions, the breakfast is not recommended. Your only option is Chobani and coffee. Residence Inn used to serve one of the best whole oatmeal 🥣. I still remember it. But here you get rolled oats with 14 grams of sugar. The most of the food items were sausage, boiled eggs and waffles. The bananas were not good rather they were having black inside and crushed. We had to throw them. The kitchen staff has to take care of this and check the quality before you place. Booked on a third party site that guarantees a king or two beds, but was not honored onsite. Got one double sized bed. There’s a pullout couch but it had food crumbs in it and was basically springs with fabric on top so I ended up having to sleep on an actual couch traveling with a family of 3 who took the bed. Very unfortunate after a 7 hour drive. The pool is a cold plunge. Too cold for my kid to even want to get in. Not great overall. It was central and walking distance within the entire downtown of Golden, which is exactly what we were looking for (while also keeping it affordable)! The complementary breakfast was nice, especially with their homemade breads and muffins! They provided many fruits, drinks, coffee/tea, and filtered water, which was nice for on the go! We didn't speak too much to the staff as they didn't seem up to conversations, but Gabi did help us resolve a tub drainage issue when we called about it! (There was nothing wrong with it. The drain just wasn't open). Our room was very quaint and adorable 🌸 I do think some hooks for hanging jackets would be helpful! Overall, it was a very cute place in a lovely area. I would stay here again to try some of the things we didn't get to do in the area! Food recs: Humble House was SO GOOD along with Woody's Pizza AYCE, Trailhouse burgers, and Thai Golden right across the street!

Parking lots were CONSTANTLY flooded. Our reserved parking spot had 4-8 inches of water/ice/slush from the months of November-April. Our apartment flooded THREE different times in the 1 year that I lived there. One time was because the terracotta pipes had roots that caused raw sewage to overflow into our bathtub and toilet. I'm lucky that I had a gym membership where I could shower, but sorry that's ridiculous. On the month that we moved out (because of our upstairs neighbors water heater leaking all over our unit) the HOA announced that they had indefinitely ceased the laundry service for our unit (WHICH YOU HAD TO PAY FOR BY THE WAY). Did they reduce the HOA cost because of this? Absolutely not. In fact I checked and they upped the HOA fee soon after we left. Pretty much every week there was a fire truck and several cops parked in our parking lot to deal with homeless persons or domestic disputes. If you're thinking about living here, don't even consider it unless you're getting an absolute steal (less than 1000$/month). And don't even think about getting a bottom floor unit due to the flooding. After we moved out, our landlord had to reduce the rent that we were paying by like $400 before someone rented it out. I literally wish I could give this complex 0 stars if I could. Truly a horrendous experience that put a strain on my mental and physical health.
