It is a 'boutique' hotel with some cool and quirky touches but overall it is elegant, refined but with a cool edge. It was in the perfect location for us as a couple on a city break - a short walk to the popular canals and '9 streets' area. It is also near the tram for tourist attractions. The bar, restaurant and terrace are all wonderful with a wide range of beers, cocktails, breakfast, lunch etc. Grab a drink and watch Amsterdammers cycle by from the small outdoor terrace. The best thing about it though is the staff. They are so warm, generous and friendly and they absolutely made our stay go from great to wonderful.
