The greens were very quick due to the heat but enjoyable all the same. The clubhouse is very nice looking over the course and the staff were very attentive. Only slight complaint would be we were offered club cleaning but after a couple of drinks our clubs hadn’t been touched but it didn’t spoil the day. I would recommend to anyone.

Most tourists here are English and it's spoken perfectly by staff (the pool side speaker also constantly plays English pop music). The restaurants mainly sell foods like pizzas and burgers as well as even a full English breakfast in the mornings. This of course is not a bad thing at all, but not representative of authentic Portugal. Overall this could either be the perfect holiday destination for you or the complete opposite of what your looking for. If you want to experience sunny weather, refreshing pools and happy hour drinks without the stress of language barriers or the worry of leaving behind home comforts like English cuisine - booking a trip away here would be perfect for you. But if you are looking to experience the real Portuguese culture and lifestyle I would consider other places, this place would definitely feel like a slice of England just moved abroad into sunnier weather. The food was well presented with a decent choice on the menu, the grilled squid which was on the special board was very tough, when this was mentioned to the waiter they just shrugged their shoulders. If you don’t want the crowds of the marina Julius is OK but be prepared to wait for your meal. We were sat down for 40 mins before our order was taken and had to ask for our drink order to be taken In my opinion after visiting restaurants this week the harbour isn’t any more expensive than the good restaurants on the back street or even in Quarteira, yes the prices have increased over the years but that’s everywhere.

We booked our tickets online the night before, which was a breeze, and arrived the next day around 11 am.
