Since it was a weekend it was crowded and there was heavy downpour. The roof needs a renovation and most of the devotees were drenched. Once you are inside, the roofing is good and barely any water is seen leaking. They have a strict dressing policy, please ensure to adhere to it. The queues can stretch long but it's a moving crowd and we got darshan in about 30-40mins. The roads leading to and away from the temple are very narrow, so plan your conveyance accordingly. There are several shops in and around the temple. In monsoon it's best you carry a raincoat(u can get this nearby shop for about 100). Umbrella's won't help you a bit during this season. This temple is a must visit if you are gokarna. Recommended.
