It is quite aesthetic and spacious. It can be considered romantic. They also have a pool table nearby. The food however is just okay and there are quite limited options on the menu in my opinion. The drinks are very limited in options as well. They just have beer and a handful of cocktails based only on vodka. They probably have no license to sell alcohol. They also have live music and singing at night. However, it's still relaxing to sit at night at the cafe and have a drink or two while chatting with our friends or close ones. Not my goto planned place. Since it was off season lot of good places are shut. It took good amount to walk with weird narrow route to reach here. Probably I might have entered through wrong lane. Restaurant is quite well setup. Love the ambience around. Proper authentic beach shack. Food, can definitely be improved . We tried English breakfast and Hazza Breakfast. English breakfast doesn’t have sausage but fried chicken. For my liking it was very dry and no salt. Rest from it was decent. Hazza breakfast has roasted potato. Wasn’t cooked well. Felt the rawness of the potato. Rest would say was fine. Coffee and Tea was more like some bachelors preparation. But would recommend this place during season time. It was super oily and full of sauce. We took just two bites of the rice and left it.We complained to the older man at the counter, but he was rude and unprofessional. Amazing location on a cliff with beach view from dorm and outdoor lounge. The campus was neat and arranged with proper parking slots. Saw few stray animals inside but none disturbing anyone. Stayed in both Superior and deluxe dorm. The only difference is the Superior one has a beach view and bigger toilet. Bed size and other facilities were all same. Seperate charging points on each bed and common room is available with few games. They have an in house cafe and bar but menu was very limited. Food and alcohol prices are bit high. Bar menu was very poor. There are other cafes around and was cheaper comparatively. Also Zostel should start a convenience store because there are no such stores nearby and need to climb down the cliff.

We didn't stay at Om beach, only at Kudle for 4 nights, as it was April, getting into low season, and just wasn't enough going on there. Such a lovely cafe, sand on the floor and between your toes, very serene and laid back. Great views to BOTH of the Om beaches as it's at the middle headland, and the lifeguard's tower is right outside! The next morning, I walked back over here from Kudle and came back to Dolphin to have coffee and breakfast. I had the Aloo Poori which was very tasty. There were a few young traveller types staying there, which was great to see as it's a very quiet spot, and I asked about rooms, but the boy working there recommended not for a family. Fair enough. Decided to visit this place because of the the 4+ rating in Google. Really disappointed with the food and service. It’s a shack with average sitting (plastic chairs) but well maintained & clean. The service here is pretty quick and preparation is also quite good, and to our delight given the prices and quantity is also nice. We tried Tandoori chicken that came along French fries and kimchi salad, Chilly Paneer and Butter Garlic Prawns. The food was quite good, spicy preparations, you can ask them to mellow down the spices if you want. They also serve Beer’s (prices are higher than local rates).

We stayed right next door at Shantika Uma Cottage so this was our regular place to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was very tasty and they have the only Tandoor oven on the beach (see video!). Tri was the manager/son and looked after us every time we were in. It had a nice local vibe, and they were showing the cricket on a big projector screen so it was a popular place! Especially with the start of the T20 season. We usually sat down the front near the beach, it was lovely to be so close to the sand. The omlettes for breakfast were really good, and we had several Indian staple dishes whilst there. Tandoor prawns, tandoor chicken, paneer masala etc. All very tasty. Thanks again Tri. Hope to be back one day.
