They're lucky that they have this natural waterfall feature in their town. it's a great for the locals and a awesome place to stop as you travel. There's a parking garage nearby the charge $3 an hour we stayed for about 3 hours it was plenty of time to relax walk around grab something to eat and head on to our next adventure. The kids like going down to the water and walk on the cross the rocks. It was a very beautiful, and romantic we seen a couple get engaged there. Looking forward to our next visit there.

We do wish they wouldn't charge adults with full price ticket, as we aren't there really for ourselves. Sadly we went on a rainy day and the outdoor playground was closed (but looked cool). They have three floors of exhibits and displays. Very interactive and the kids had a lot of fun. Several of the displays stood out as very inventive. They had a lung display in the body exhibit that you could put a light weight cloth into and it would shoop around inside the lung tubes and then pop out the top. (second floor) They had a Publix grocery store where kids could "shop" and then they could check out at the register and push the buttons for the vegetables then "pay" by pushing the currency amounts on the other side. (sadly other than beeping the UPC codes wouldn't actually scan onto the screens) In theory one kid would run the register and the other would be the customer but kids liked to do both sides themselves (self checkout people in training I guess). Genius of Publix (south eastern ish grocery store chain) to sponsor it. Gotta plant those loyal customer seeds early. Seriously though Publix is a great grocery store, excellent sub sandwiches. (see images) They also had a fully functional crane in the construction exhibit which was very well done (3rd floor). It was magnetic so you could pick up some "I-beams" and some various sized boxes. There was pretty much always a line for using it. Definitely a hit, had the dual joystick controls and button for turning on and off the magnet. (and a safety so you couldn't lift things really high up (about 6 foot) and drop them.) Their 1st floor was a little smaller than the others but had a great water table exhibit, probably do that last unless you want a wet kid running around the rest of the place. (see images) Their staff was friendly and helpful. Specially the puzzle area (kind of inside the Publix store) their staff there did a great job. Lots of little wood puzzles and brain teasers kind of things. We spent quite a bit of time in there. Definitely go by when they are open. They also have a 9 hole mini golf course as well (small tennis balls so you can't whack it and knock some kid out) so that was pretty cool as we like to play putt putt golf. They also have a large climbing display thing in the center of the building that spans from the 2nd to the 3rd floor (entrance and exit are on the 2nd floor so you kid can't go up there and get lost) It is a little bit loud, as most children places tend to be. But we definitely enjoyed it. We didn't have time to hit the library or art museum next door but maybe one day. It was a good location downtown and parking is free on Sunday apparently.

The facilities were spotless which is really difficult to do during an athletic event lol. We had seats on top of the Green Monster which is the green wall in the outfield. The view was incredible. We chatted about minor league baseball and the different teams and fields which took away any awkwardness whatsoever. He then showed me where to meet him to get to an elevator after the game. He actually was waiting for me to make sure I got turned around correctly. While I was in the facilities I met one of the vice presidents and a couple of her interns. They were very down-to-earth and very friendly. We will definitely be making another trip up here! It is about a 2-hour ride but it was worth every single minute!

We were occasional Fenway Park fans, so we were excited to see a game that in in a stadium that was modeled after Fenway. Its much smaller and more affordable BUT my snapchat to friends back in NH fooled them. They thought we were in Boston! We loved the free parking and free trolley ride to the park and back to our car after the game. And, hats off to Greenville, SC police for posting at the parking lots for fan safety. That was awesome! Though we are Red Sox fans i must admit that we spent more time at Lowell Spinners games. We always found minors league MBL games to be more dynamic and way more affordable than Fenway. Boston is simply expensive. Period. So, we are delighted to find a Red Sox farm team close to our new home. BUT... and its a big one. The crowd is soooooo mellow. I think that the park tries to jazz things up, but the people could be a little more ummmm excited?? Also, just a suggestion for the owners of Fluor Field. I think you nailed it. Your park is truly a mini-Fenway and its wonderful, clean and your employees are fantastic. But... it cannot be a true replica of the real thing until you get a Dunks. I am not the biggest fan of Dunks, but I found myself wanting a Dunks iced coffee REAL BAD. Its part of the Fenway experience... along with the Sam Adams.. wink wink... power suggestion. River Streets Sweets has some unique flavors that I have never heard of before, such as Bear Claw, Blueberry, Hazelnut Coffee Crunch, and Pink Grapefruit. They also serve Raspberry Sorbet sugar-free which is nice. My family decided to get Rocky Road and Bear Claw. The ice cream was so rich, creamy, and flavorful. It did not taste artificial like some ice creams in supermarkets. My whole family was pleased with the purchase. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the one member who was mending the ice cream section. She was so kind and energetic, letting my family sample the flavors before purchasing, which a lot of food businesses do not do. This is their second store (original is in Kansas) and I definitely think I'll be back for another candle class and to make a purchase!

The commons is such a great place and I love going there. However, parking is an issue. Commons has grown tremendously in size since it opened and very little parking was added. If you drive up you will likely see parking enforcement giving people tickets and those spots empty. There can be absolutely no available spots at times and if you overstay a timed spot, you will get a ticket and can get multiple tickets. I really hate this has affected the enjoyment of such a great place but the aggressive parking enforcement by the city has made commons a stressful place to go. I personally visit often and have seen a huge drop off in the number of people there including families at the park because of the known parking issues and fears of getting aggressive tickets with parking enforcement circling the lots constantly. And if you overstay, they calculate how long since they marked you and issue as many tickets as they can at one time. I understand the need but it is overkill and really destroying such an amazing place. Still 5 stars and sad visiting has gotten so difficult.

GB&D was good, but my favorite place at The Commons had to be Bake Room. The one item that had me going back two days in a row was the AM Bun, which is kind of like a cross between a croissant and a cinnamon roll. Another reason for going back is because we came 5 minutes before it closed on our first visit, so there wasn’t many options. The next day we had so much to choose from! The other items we tried from there were also delicious, but I definitely recommend grabbing an AM Bun.

They had a blast and definitely better finds than all the other gem minings we’ve been to. Staff was very helpful and patient with the kids. Would definitely go back if we’re looking to fill a long weekend with something to do in downtown. I will note that we got the mega bucket since we have 4 kids and split it up which worked out great. I’m sure since we got a such a big bucket we had some very large stones and geode pieces. Even the small pieces here were better than other places though.

The new girl begins talking so fast, I asked her to slow down because literally couldn’t understand what she was saying. She starts speaking slower, but more in a condescending way explaining what items weren’t taken, and that they’d be interested in the ones in the basket. Then proceeds to remove the bag out of the basket showing me 2 items both obviously new with tags and says “ we are offering three twenty”. $3.20 for those 2 items? (nwt under armour bra and purse) She says “yes or you can just pass if it’s not good enough for you” I was baffled by how rude and judgemental she was. Granted I definitely knew the experience was likely to be similar to Plato’s closet. I didn’t expect a ton. I was more shocked by the demeanor and juxtaposition from when I had come in. When I said no thank you she flung the two items into the stuffed bag and turned her back to me to chat with her other young coworkers. I left feeling shamed. I had name brand items. Her explanations, at least what I understood, didn’t align with what I had given them. At the end the clothing wasn’t even the big deal it was the treatment. This was really just an awful experience and I won’t be back or recommend to anyone

Came to thus shop and found a set of Rae Dunn bowl (3 set) price was $40 and I would have got them but the largest bowl and a starting Crack that was about a quarter inch long starting at the rim. Sometimes I shop online but most of the time I'll go into the store. Just recently moved down here and the first time I went into the store I have had the worst experience customer wise.
