Their park has continuously been improving with each stay. It is amazing how much time and effort the Bona Vista team puts in to organize kids events and ensure all age groups have the best time possible. By far the most outstanding item noticed is the attention to safety, staff are always striving to ensure all patrons keep their speed to 10km per hour and they keep signage in clear view for all to see. As I am a repeat camper this is my little piece of heaven and love my time here.

We went once last year and I fell in love with our tent camping site on the beach. We went again twice this year and last weekend we had a blast. Our campsite for our tent was near the water. We had lots of shade and we got to enjoy the company of April and Myles (our new neighbours for the weekend). Now I only have been there on the weekends but I can say there was some activities at night for my teenage son and my nephew. There was also some BINGO happening which I unfortunately missed. The Community Hall was open to teenagers and my nephew and son played ping pong, pool, air hockey etc. There was also a live band on Saturday night which was great to hear from my campground because it brought me some ambience. There is a nice park and basketball court for kids to play in. There is also a nice pool for people who don’t like swimming in the lake. Now let’s talk about the store/registration place. I love how I can get me a slush puppy and ice at a very decent price. Oh and they have lots of great variety of food you may need and lots of candies!! The new owners are fantastic don’t let the 4 to 6 years ago reviews foul you. Bonnie and Dennis are awesome and they were very accommodating especially for my nephew and brother in law. On a personal note the seasonal campers are friendly. We got to know David who is mapping Muskrat Lake and making an app out of it. If you love fishing this is also an ideal place to go!!! 🎣

Their hydro circuit can’t handle a lot of rv’s/ supply so it would trip our breaker anytime we tried to use the AC which made 40*+ days very hot at the site. Lastly at the time of departure they offered complimentary coffee at the reception, it was really good, much better compared to many famous chains. Overall it was really a great experience

Fortunately the weather worked out for us. The park itself was great as the place was not too crowded. We arrived around 11am. We were able find a nice spot to set up. If you have your own life jackets I recommend bringing them. They do have enough on site to supply everyone that is out on the water. They let groups out for 30 minutes at a time. There is limited food on site but for an afternoon out it is more then adequate. The park was clean. Plenty of staff around. We slid on the slides, played on the water inflatables and hit the lazer tag. The kids and adults enjoyed it all. I can't vouch for peak summer days but as an end of summer trip it was great.
