Considering I was diving with my 15yo son, a junior diver, safety and calmness were the most important things I was looking at, and Ben had them big time! My son had a blast with him, as well as with Captain Chris, who kept the jokes going and played the best music. Oh - the dives were gorgeous! Visibility was around 70% (it could be better, but was still great!), water temp was perfect, calm water, and a lot of wildlife. Dive Shop - 10/10 recommended! Once on board Captain Chris took us to a sweet little divespot for our first dive. After our first dive we went over near Step Beach to snorkel...it was amazing and I saw more stuff there than I did on the deeper dives! One more dive after that which was great...got to see a sea turtle that time. The day was lovely, laid back, never felt pressured or rushed...the team was awesome...everyone had a great time. It was a small group that ended up having 2 MDs from Canada, an MD who's a surgical resident in Rhode Island and a Doc of Acupuncture (me) on the boat...so if anything happened...we were covered!😅 So of course nothing went wrong because we were prepared! Afterwards we all went to lunch at The Harbor and continued the fab day. Highly recommend Taino Divers. They'll take great care of you.
