Afterwards, we found a restaurant nearby and decided to give it a try. Although there were several other options near the cinema, we were immediately drawn in by this one's inviting decor, so we went straight in—and we were very glad we did! All the food was delicious and served hot, which was especially welcome on such a freezing day. The Bolognese and Carbonara were both perfectly seasoned, with a great balance of meat and sauce. I particularly loved the BBQ chicken pizza; the crunchiness of the crust and the flavourful meat mixture were delicious. My friend was also very impressed with the chicken burger. I would highly recommend the garlic doughballs and the caramelised onion flatbread. The fries with bacon and cheese are also an excellent choice! Finally the service was also very good. The food was outstanding – fresh, full of flavour, and served hot. The goat’s cheese pasta was beautifully creamy, and the spicy nduja pasta had just the right kick. I was there for the second time and I was still nicely surprised with the taste of meals. Portions are big, the food is freshly made and is nicely decorated on the plates . The staff are friendly and the pub is clean and tidy. Summerhouse has plenty of car park spaces and also the garden with the tables and sits outside. Behind the garden area there are meadows with wild flowers and free roaming horses. I highly recommend this pub. It's a shame for me that this pub is not close to Coventry where I live.

We thought we would give it a try as we had heard good reports. Unfortunately our booking seemed to have "disappeared" but no problem as the very helpful "Alicia's sister" found us a table. The service and atmosphere was relaxed which suited us. The roast beef, and turkey were excellent, tasty and tender however the "trimmings" were a little sparse, with only a quarter of a roasted carrot and same for parsnip. We also thought the green beans and savoy cabbage were a lot less than "al dente" and would have benefited from an extra few minutes cooking, I suspect it wasn't just us judging by what was being left on the plates of others and suggest it needs addressing. Absolutely stunning food, the young man who served us was polite and helpful. We went into the sports lounge after for after dinner drinks and again, great atmosphere, but couldn't understand why we were alone. We eventually realised the restaurant was actually in the bull pub, at the back. We arrived in opening hours but the place was empty, it took a few minutes for the lady to appear. From then we were alone eating which didn't give any atmosphere other than dining together which of course is the most important thing. Except for a draughty skylight there is no real natural light - it does feel as if a bsck room at the pub has been converted into some seating and therefore doesn't give a particularly special eating experience in terms of atmosphere and vibe. The food itself which is the important bit was very good, enjoyed the tom yum, and fish cakes. I did find in the main dish the chicken was very wet which is unusual and I haven't come across that before in chinese or thai food - i assume they must boil it. Overall the price is reasonable and if we ever go near Bilston in the future I would visit again.

If you have never been to Ann's before prepare for an adventure because the restaurant is hard to find as it's tucked away in the back of a pub. No seriously, it is of the Bulls head pub. The one thing we did notice is that it's very clean, I did not see a lick of dust on the decorations at all. They do an amazing job with the hygiene. The food was extremely tasty, I always love a nice Thai meal, it's not like Chinese food where it seems greasy, it tastes clean and it has an infusion of different flavours, the floral decorations they creation with the veg just makes it a true piece of art. Ok, so what let it down, well not a massive thing which you can forgive (in a way), the nice lady who serviced us our mains forgot to give us the sides, we was waiting for a while and had to ask for the rice. Unfortunately this meant my wife's meal was cold and to top it off they forgot the extra crackers we ordered and we nearly finished. As you can see in the picture the c&c works by driving to the click and collect point then pressing a button to confirm you've arrived. Then you tell them your name and order number and then they bring it out to you. When they bring it they have it in a basket so make sure you bring bags with you otherwise you'll need to load the items 1 by 1 into your car which is annoying Also make sure you double check what you ordered, my mind wad 100 miles away as i had 100 other things to do that day so didn't realise till I got home that they had only given me half my stuff! Luckily they did call me which was nice to tell me but then I had to go back and do another trip. My advice would be always double check. Apart from the wait and double trip it was decent and faster than strolling through the store. Also its free too at certain times of the day.
