My family and I did a private wine tasting at Revel and had a phenomenal experience! Anthony was an amazing host. He walked us through each wine and included history, food recommendations, and other fun facts throughout the tasting. He even brought us downstairs and showed us where the wine is made which was super interesting. The staff was very nice and attentive, the environment was fun and upbeat, and the wine was delicious! Recently rented the upstairs space for my friend's Bridal Shower and it was amazing! Great space, great music, lovely people, very accommodating & helpful... just wonderful overall! In addition to a wonderful venue experience I also have to say the wine was delicious, I highly recommend the Black Sheep Rouge, which is one of the Revel Winery wines. Deep & smooth!

Stopped by after an event downtown to grab one drink. We got a the house Pino Gris wine which was very very good and their special, an apple cider mule, which tasted like watered down apple cider and worthless. Bartender was super friendly but was chatting away while I waited. Cool atmosphere tho. Dance floor and DJ upstairs gave the place a lively vibe.

Revel is a very laid back, rustic urban bar with class. When you walk in, you'll be seated at a table with a QR code to scan that gives access to the menu of drinks and light appetizers and flat breads. So, even though it is a classic bar, you don't have to stand around waiting to order a drink.. they'll bring it to you.
Revel has too floors with the second floor available for private parties.
If you ever make it there, don't forget to try the Red top Margarita or the O Tea R they're topped with Malbac.

Didn't have the opportunity to eat in due to the stay-in-place so we decided to carry out. Grabbed a bottle of blush, a meat pizza and chicken carbonara (not pictured). My wife and I along with her sister and husband had a delightful experience at the Henke Winery tonight. Joe was so helpful picking out the right wine for our taste buds. Jamie was our server and she was amazing. They had a $20.00 special tonight which included a cooked to perfection 12 ounce Sirloin, a baked potato, grilled asparagus and a salad! Both myself and my Brother in law ordered the special and it was amazing. My sister in law ordered a Salmon salad, which was very sizeable and cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the Chicken linguini. I got a taste of the chicken.....amazing.
The salads are also delicious as the create their own dressings. I got the Caeser salad and it was the best Caeser dressing I have ever had.
I highly recommend making a reservation at the Henke Winery because right now it's only outside seating which is limited. They do offer carryout and they were extremely busy delivering curbside.

We tried 4 different wines and enjoyed them all. The lamb chops were delicious. We tried the air fried cheese as our appetizer which was suggested by our server. It was different but very good. I’m not a wine person but my wife wanted to try a wine bar and we decided to come to Skeleton Root. When talking to the staff I informed them of my lack of wine knowledge. They were very helpful and professional. They recommended a couple of different wines which we tried and to my astonishment, I enjoyed a couple of their wines. If you're looking for something off the normal trail or even a great pre dinner drink great atmosphere, this is the place. We've been up and down the blocks surrounding this and have never seen it. Well, I'm glad we have and can't wait to come back. Staff knows their stuff and their product is great wine and charcuterie boards. I haven't even gotten into the actual location yet. The building is old history brought into the modern Industrial age. Clean and wide open spaces with leather couches, bar top tables and high ceilings. Do yourself a favor and mix it up, check this place out!

Our wedding at The Skeleton Root Winery was perfect in every way and fulfilled our vision for our industrial chic, moody, winery-based celebration. We had been visiting and buying wine from Skeleton Root from some time and wondered, wouldn't this be a killer wedding venue. And just like that, even with many other options in the Cincinnati area, we couldn't see ourselves getting married anywhere else. The normal retail/day staff, who is AMAZING, was there for our event and they were even MORE AMAZING. I'm so grateful for how hard they worked in insuring that everyone was not thirsty and delivered so well on their service. The owner, Kate, is tremendous and definitely was a key player into how PERFECT our wedding day was. Truly she is there every step of the way and will go above and beyond to achieve whatever we have in mind. Please support this small business! It's amazing to have a winery here in Cincinnati. I've been a few times since they've opened. A great variety of local wines to choose from. Recently, they've started offering food and wine-based cocktails. Awesome venue, chill vibe, minimalist industrial concept. Tables and chairs, as well as lounge seating and a bar. I went over the past weekend with a friend for wine tasting. It would have been nice to sit down but it was no chairs in that area. Nonetheless someone had left before their table was ready and the server allowed us to have the table. She was extremely welcoming and although it was nearing closing time our food was hot and fresh. I recommend the egg rolls! We weren’t rushed out and literally every staff member was nice. During wine tasting our server was patient with us selecting different wines. We ended up getting the membership. I also have to comment on the cleanliness. Very impressed with your closing shift. First experience 10/10.

I am not going to ding the whole restaurant for a night of poor service. The atmosphere is really nice and the food was amazing. To start off the night the waitress was good. Getting us water and bread. After that it all went down hill. We ordered a pitcher of sangria and it took almost a half hour to get. We ordered our food, someone other than out waitress brought us the food. We wanted more bread finally toward the end of the meal someone other than our waitress asked how the food was and if we needed anything. We did not see our waitress from the time we ordered our food until I had about 3 bites left on my plate. She apologized and said we are slammed tonight. Then wheni received the check it was the wrong one. After waiting for a while we had someone else get our waitress to inform her the check was not ours. FYI get the parmesan crusted filet you will not regret it.

I got the Braised Short Rib risotto and my girlfriend got the Blackened Ahi. The PBJ old fashioned tasted wonderful- you get a peanut butter old fashioned and a red wine that makes a unique drink experience that is fun! My girlfriend got the margarita and she enjoyed! I hosted my sister's bridal shower here, and as a first time Maid of Honor with little knowledge on how to plan a bridal shower, I could not have asked for a better staff and venue.
Brian, the owner of Mio Vino, is beyond helpful in answering any questions and concerns. He was constantly corresponding with me to address any problems I had, and even got my labels printed on time after an error I made. Christie, the bartender, is also amazing. She is so wonderfully outgoing, and her presence at the shower added to the amazing time everyone had. She was so attentive to the guests and was constantly offering her assistance to me. Whatever I needed, these two were there to help and ensure the best.
I chose the Soiree package, and got 30 small "split" bottles that the guests were able to bottle and label (which Brian walked them through the process) themselves to bring home as party favors. My guests absolutely loved this, and said it was such a memorable experience. In addition, they allow you to bring in your own food which is a perk not being forced to use caterers. They allow you to enter the venue an hour before your event to set up, but you hardly need to decorate because the inside is already gorgeous!
The amazing wine and outstanding service made my sister's bridal shower one my guests can't stop talking about. Thank you Mio Vino!

This was the perfect setting for our last-minute work holiday gathering. Christy was amazing, she was very communicative during the booking process. She acted as our bartender and host during our event and couldn't have been more friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The space was decorated already for the holidays but we brought our own additional décor as well, which didn't end up being necessary as the vibe was perfect when we arrived. Street parking, and on the lower level of an old church await amazing fruity beers. Offer flights, many to-go options including crowlers of items not offered in other to-go (bottle, singles, tallboys, multi-packs).
Service friendly and quick.
No kitchen but have menus for 2 pizza places. I got the NYPD pizza - with the Urban Artifact deal a large 1 topping pie is only like 13 bucks. While I would classify the pie as alright, the value is unbeatable.
The tarts - my favorite was a chili/fig - this is a fresh beer that tastes of pepper. Also enjoyed the coconut smoothie - it's not a slushy texture but the taste profile is fantastic - earthbn but tiki adjacent.
I also got a few small bottles of their aged stuff which I'm super excited to try. These aren't cheap and there are no samples fyi.
I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone wanting a unique venue and great, fruity beers.

Did my wedding here. Overall extremely positive experience. The price was pretty competitive with most other venues, and they were able to accommodate our special requests. Several great opportunities for photos both inside and outside. They had several recommended caterers who were familiar with serving the venue (We went with mazunte). The inside of the venue is beautiful and comfortably sat 100 people for dinner with room for a dance floor.
A few minor downsides - first, the surrounding area isn't exactly "picturesque". Also, you have to share a bathroom with the bar downstairs for your events, which was less than ideal for us but didn't turn out to be that big of an issue. I wasn't big on the fruit sours at first but they grew on me and now Gadget is one of my favorite beers. Also, it was a little bit challenging to get ahold of the staff at some points in the planning process, but we got everything resolved in the end. Also, you should be aware there is only one bridal suite.
In spite of the minor gripes I am mentioning here I think it still warranted five stars and I would definitely go with them again.

We stopped by on my way back to the hotel and they had the Ohio State game on, which is always a plus. Lots of space, indoor, outdoor, and parking around back. I really like the atmosphere. It is a really large room with large tables that people share. You seat yourself. It was a Friday night, so parking was hard to come by. You order drinks at the bar. I had two beers both of which were great. We ordered a pizza which was good but not great. I saw other order the nacho which look really large.

We had such a great evening at MadTree. We were initially wondering if we needed to make a reservation since that was an option, but we decided to pop in and check it out without a reservation.
It was busy, and the parking lot was full, but this place is HUGE. There was some sort of event happening as well as tons of indoor seating and, our favorite, outdoor seating.
Placing the order from your table was kinda fun and then venturing to the bar to get drinks led to a nice conversation with the bartender about the beer options. We each had a flight that we enjoyed.
We split the wedge salad which, while it wasn't actually a a wedge (it's chopped romaine), was delicious. And the pizza we shared was great. It was a really fun evening.
My only complaint, and it's so minor, is that we tipped when we ordered our food, but I'm not sure what we actually received. We got our own drinks, gathered our own plates, utensils & napkins, and were told to bus our own table when we were done. So, I tipped 25% for someone to carry out a pizza and a salad. That seems silly.
Even with that in mind, though, this is somewhere we would eat again.

Needed a place to stop for lunch on the way back from Tennessee to Michigan. It had to have beer (for me) and it had to have vegan options (for my daughter). This place checked off the boxes and then some. BEAUTIFUL building and outdoor space. Perhaps one of my top 3 outdoor spaces I've ever visited. Beer was fairly solid and the pizza was pretty good.

Pizza was just as dry as the waitress working. I was a first timer and made to feel like I was intruding on someone’s time. Nothing special about the crust, the sauce and or the toppings. I only came try because of pizza week. The employees behind the counter was helpful and polite. All my toppings were placed in the middle of the pizza leaving the outer edges to be bland, dried, and burnt! This was a take out order. If you’ve never been there good luck with trying to figure out how the ordering process goes.
