It was a bit tight with other vehicles already parked up but it worked. We are in a 40’ straight truck so the same length as the tour bus practically. Because we just had the two vehicles we were able to stay staged from load in to load out. No problem. We did leave to get some work on our truck done and was able to get back in our space. It was the end of the night that posed a slow down due to the traffic of parked vehicles for the other businesses with late hours around the area. We got er done tho. Be prepared for some tight space maneuvering needs. Depending on when you leave.

There are two rooms, and both are unique. You can get close to the stage and enjoy your favorite artists seemingly an arms distance away. While the venue is fun and intimate, I would suggest bringing headphones, and you can use them if you want. They do not have any at the venue itself (even for sale) which threw me off. However, the reason you need them is because they've packed a ton of speakers into the rooms which makes for a good listening experience, it can just be a bit loud at times. No, ‘sorry for the wait’ or ‘welcome’ or ‘how are you tonight.’ No smile. Just a plasticine demeanor with an off putting energy that suggested we were a bother. We ended up ordering a beer and a single cocktail for $30. I begrudgingly tipped $5 hoping my experience would improve. It didn’t. The bartender showed up maybe a minute later. He knew his shit. He showed a lot of talent making the drink. I waited while my wife got us seats. No one stated whether we needed to wait for our drinks or if they would be brought out to us. The bartender looked up at me and seemed irritated I was watching him make the drink, so I went and had a seat. My wife decided to order some ramen from Full Steam. We got the ramen before the drinks. I finally went back to the bar, a true five minutes after ordering, our drinks sitting there, waiting to be picked up. I must say it was still fantastic heated up or cold the next day. I will crave this place and look forward to returning! The first round we did unexpectedly end up there as a live band was wrapping up. It was not what we were looking for or particularly in the mood for with the sound level and amount of drunk people, but the food and service was well worth it. We will be more aware next time to check the event schedule there next time. I can say it seems they have some very favored bands play there.

We tasted some of their gin at a local Whole Foods store and loved it so we decided a short road trip to Santa Cruz to check out their tasting room would be in order. The only real down side is that their liquor license is very strict so they can only pour a small amount per person. The hubby and I have been to the distillery at the old location a few times, but we have not been to the kitchen and new distillery location on High Road. Everything about our visit was awesome. Upon arrival, we were seated right away. It wasn’t super crowded, but shortly after we sat down, the restaurant filled up and I can see why. The food is really good, craft cocktails awesome and the service was over the top. Our server Matthew was nice and friendly, knowledgeable about the menu (helped me pick out my cocktail) and was also very attentive. It was REALLY busy, but he came by to check on us a lot. Fun fact, Matthew looks like Dale Earnhardt Jr, Prince Harry and maybe a little of Ed Sheeran. My mother-in-law was so enamored by him, she actually walked as close to the kitchen as possible to wave goodbye to him. It was cute. Ok, the food…..super yummy quality eats, and the libations are delish. After four cocktails, six entrees and a mocktail, it was about $240 after tip and tax. Not bad! This is an amazing spot that is very under rated. The beer selection was not too vast but had some great options. It was nice to see they have some food on location if you get hungry, and they also had a spot for food trucks to park.
