Even ordering takeout we were beyond delighted. We sledged carrot salad, three mushroom curry, and the side dish mix of three. Every bite was great. The carrot salad was the most unique, it was finely shredded with a lightly sweet dressing over a bed of greens and topped with halved cherry tomatoes and beautiful radishes. It tasted great and was aesthetically the most pleasing dish—I can only imagine what it looks like when not in a to-go container! The mushroom curry was very good; it was reviewed over and over on yelp and I found it to be satisfying but not mind blowing. And the three sides were super good, the cashew cauliflower, eggplant, and mango curry (spicy!). Be sure to order the ginger rice, my dad devoured it and he’s not even a rice fan. It was impressive how quickly they got so many dishes ready for just our order. I wish this place was fully vegan, but I understand that restaurants are struggling right now and seeking to reach as broad a base as possible. The staff were a wife/husband team who were immensely warm and accommodating. We will def be back to our new favorite spot in Santa Cruz. The hammocks themselves were fun to try out. There are a few hanging downstairs and more "private" ones on the second floor. I got a crepe with the meal option and probably ate too much of the delicious warm honey baked bread before the huge crepe plate arrived. The crepe was cooked perfectly as were the mushrooms, chicken, asparagus, and melted cheese. The dill sauce for dipping was exceptional solo and even more so combined with the crepe delight. I must say it was still fantastic heated up or cold the next day. I will crave this place and look forward to returning! The first round we did unexpectedly end up there as a live band was wrapping up. It was not what we were looking for or particularly in the mood for with the sound level and amount of drunk people, but the food and service was well worth it. We will be more aware next time to check the event schedule there next time. I can say it seems they have some very favored bands play there.

I've now lived here for almost 15 years and this little kiosk has fresher, tastier food than any other place I've visited. The flavors are consistently clear and distinct, not muddied by globs of gooey, oily cheese or drenched in killer hot-sauce. The texture and flavor of those tortillas are superior to anything I've had outside Mexico City. We’ve tried several dishes and they were all tasty. I wished the chipotle sauce would not come on literally almost every meal for more variety. And the key lime pie was sour not sweet at all.
