It’s in a hotel but don’t judge it by that, the interior is very charming aside from the noise. They give Free Chips which were good but too salty and the Salsa was amazing and flavorful. I got the Normal Burrito and added Steak, not joking when I say it was the best Burrito I’ve had in my entire life, the Steak was juicy and flavorful, the Guacamole with Pico de gallo was amazing and the Rice and Beans were a good change up. Moving on from the food the service was incredible, our waiter was kind, gave good recommendations and refilled are waters many times. If you’re looking for Mexican food and are in the area I would definitely check this place out!

My wife and a friend had the mushroom rigatoni which although had good flavor, was about 30 seconds shy of being al dente everyone agreed. So, that dish would have received a better rating if the pasta was cooked correctly.

Another great addition to the west side. It is still developing since it’s only been open for a few days but the pastries are top notch quality. We tried the Kouign Aman and Pain au chocolate. Both were delicate, delicious, and well made. They are essentially a small room with a desk that has the available pastries out on display to choose from. They also have a bread wall and some miscellaneous merch items. We enjoyed our pastries and look forward to seeing how everything develops.

Their bread is the best in Santa Cruz/aptos and the customer service is good. They don’t have the coffee service available at other locations, but as a bakery you can’t do better.
