Beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with great care. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the quality of the food. We decided to see what everyone was experiencing by making an online booking. We requested an outdoor table when we arrived and one was available - nice atmosphere outside and they had patio heaters to offset the cool evening in November. Nice varied menu plus many specials for the day made it a challenge to decide! In the end we ordered the local sharing platter to start. This was a good choice and we were able to try a few different items which we wouldn’t normally have tried eg corned beef and liver wrapped in bacon. For our main course I had the suckling pig - this was beautifully cooked and so tasty. My wife had the large prawns which were great too though she felt the accompanying risotto was too spicy.
