My wife and I chose Le Royal Monceau for the modern and whimsical way it came across. So many of the hotels in this class seem to look the same. This hotel has style and so many cool things going on it was almost like visiting an art gallery. Our deluxe room was beautiful. Plenty of space, a big walk in closet, giant bathroom with a huge soaking tub and an amazing shower...I already miss the shower. One note, if you don't like mirrors this hotel is not for you. There are mirrors everywhere in the room and the bathroom is in fact one giant mirror :). As for the amenities, we had thick fluffy towels that were changed out almost as soon as you used them. Slippers on a padded mat laid at your bedside. A fruit bowl that was never empty and water bottles left on your nightstand during turndown service. All that and the room was not even the star of this show. For us the staff is what made this hotel so special. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family. I reached out to the concierge team a few days before we arrived and Karla put together a very thoughtful itinerary that maximized our time and aligned with our preferences for trendy and cool scenes complete with dinner and lunch reservations/suggestions, skip the line tours, and even a dinner cruise. I was seriously impressed with how thorough it was. After meeting Karla and Daisuke, who after meeting me once greeted me by name for the rest of the trip I knew we were in very good hands. The taxi wanted to charge me 75 euros instead of offical 56 euros arguing the vehicle is bigger. Not the best way to end Paris trip after been ripped off. Hotel needs to look into this.

Shower conditioner in rigid containers making it hard to get the product out (reportedly very tightly sealed in multiple rooms). Confused design for temperature knobs, try whether it expects clockwise or anticlockwise. Useless gadget inside the bathroom mirror: an integrated TV playing ads. No light switches but electronic panels that attempt to do everything (blinds, lamps, temp) with more user friction than analogic buttons. Directional signs missing when you most expect them (e.g. to the lifts), with misleading arrows. For little things, a simpler experience that works may be preferable over cumbersome badly engineered gadgety solutions tarnishing the history of the building and the efforts from the staff. The service and staff were wonderful and kind, however there were some issues with the room. The internet barely worked one day and it was a struggle to book our attractions and plan our routes. The television also was frozen/not connecting one evening and through the next day. Frustrating issues for a Palace hotel. But, most terrifying of all was that on the day of our departure, I found myself locked inside of the water closet of my room. When I locked the bathroom door, the interior lock popped off. I was unable to re-attach it and was fully locked inside. Thankfully, my son was with me and called the front desk for assistance. It's scary to think what would have happened otherwise, as I had the do not disturb sign on and could have been trapped for quite some time. If you are familiar with European water closets they are windowless and quite claustrophobic. Lesson learned to always bring a cell phone or don't lock the door. Prior to staying here, we were at the Relais Christine, and that is where I will return next time.

No coffee available for our 6 am taxi ride or at any other time other than at Breakfast . We just didn’t feel the 5 star amenities we had at every other property the previous 2 weeks. As I again review previous reviews the 3 star reviews are similar. If there is genuine concern for clients it would be nice for management to take some action. All said, surprised this is still a Relais Chateau property.

I’ve never been treated better than when we were there and I will never ever forget this place. In fact we hope to go back to Paris just to stay at this hotel and see the staff again 😂! The allure of this hotel is the location and interiors. The entire hotel looks like it is out of a magazine with exceptional artwork, amazing wall art, and a breathtaking spa. The location is very central, literally right outside of a train station as well as in the middle of the upper district so you can have easy access to anywhere in Paris. I rented a bike the entire time I was there and everywhere we went including some of the farther areas in the 11th was within a 15 minute bike ride and it was super easy. Do you think that makes you fall in love with the place are not these things though. What makes you fall in love with that is the service, the people and the food. We were blown away by the attentiveness of the concierge, and the staff that worked very hard to accommodate us with reservations to various restaurants that we could not get a hold of; we were treated like family every single day by the door staff, and they went out of their way to help us with not only our luggage but her day-to-day tasks. They were so incredibly friendly, and when we learned more about each of them, we would tell management that they are extremely lucky to have such a group of workers that actually care. my husband is in a wheelchair and required a mobility device every day that was like a bike attachment to get around the city. The Door staff stored the bike attachment for us, charged it every single night, took care of it, and presented it to him every single morning when we came down the elevator to start our day. Makes our life a whole lot easier for someone with a disability. Bravo! The food at the hotel restaurant and room service is something I still think about and dream about today weeks after we have come back home. The on-site “Le-Restaurant” is a Michelin star dining establishment that we ate at multiple times throughout our stay in Paris. In fact, the restaurant was the first meal that we had in Paris as we were too tired to venture out… Boy am I glad that we did. It actually set the standard for us in Paris for dining - and we kept thinking about how delicious it was throughout our experience. In fact, some of the dishes were better than a lot of the top rated restaurants we went to throughout our stay. Some standouts at the restaurant were the Voile au Vent, omelette, leek appetizer, and the fish with butter sauce (which is a big enough portion for 4 people!). The service was outstanding and personable. We had breakfast included in our stay and every day decided to get room service - Absolutely outstanding and delicious Michelin quality food delivered right to our room. The baked goods are absolutely delicious And the eggs, sausages, and fresh tomatoes were to die for. Each day we had one or two different servers bring our food up, and they were always so wonderful and kind. There was one issue when we arrived at the hotel and that was that our “rolling shower” waS not exactly flat to the floor so my husband would have had issues using it with his wheelchair. As soon as they found out about the issue, they came in right away and completely fixed it, installing a temporary small ramp so that he could use the shower without any issues. Bravo!!! We generally do not stay at boutique hotels, as we enjoy the vibe of larger lobby bars of grand hotels. But the minimum price to stay in the Four Seasons, etc was so ridiculously unreasonable that we took a chance here. The hotel also provided a nice welcome gift to celebrate our anniversary and my wife's birthday. We ate breakfast each day at the hotel. Food was very good. Small cold buffet and hot food to order (included as a Hilton Diamond member). We were very happy with the food selection for breakfast. We never had lunch or dinner on property. But menu looked good, wish we had found time for dinner or lunch on property. There is also a small bar on the property. Its not staffed, but the restaurant staff will come over to make you a drink. The loved the experience and described the staff was extremely helpful. As non French speakers coming from Canada, they were worried about communication barriers and traveling to places with in Paris primarily due to language differences. The hotel staff, especially Taher and Hossam were awesome and helped overcome these worries. They helped my parents navigate the city, suggested places to go, and helped arranged bus tours that took them around the city. Lots of cafes too near by as well. We had a terrace view room (#7) on 1st floor which faced an interior courtyard and was great for relaxing after walking around Paris. Shower was great and bed was comfortable enough. Room was decent size enough for European standards and would highly recommend staying here.

It is a cute hotel with kind staff members. I stayed in the building around the corner (the hotel consists of two buildings very close to each other). Both buildings have 24 hr staff. The lobby is great. The bar staff is amazing and quality drinks being served. Again music was not working as the system got down. The location is great. When we arrived hotel was closed after midnight which is not a standard for a 5star. We got a terrible room on 1st level, which was gloomy and without basic facilities. Our review would be 2stars if we stayed there. The night desk was not even listening to our requests. But after complaining next day, we got an upgrade for the rest of the stay which changed the whole experience. Mr. Komi helped us turn around the experience and thanks to him we got the room with right value to money. The rooms need a lot of refurbishment although they are kept really clean. The HVAC was turning off in the night and we have been getting cold. Minibar could be better although the wines were good. With proper refurbishment it could be a great hotel. The nigh reception should be replaced. The day staff, cleaning, bar staff was great! I would go there again to stay in the upgraded room. But for the price of the Executive.

We've been to a lot of amazing places (Lake Palace in Udaipur, the Rambagh Palace, etc.) and I have to be honest, this one tops the charts. The roof, though shut for service when we visited, offered beautiful 360 degree views of Paris. The staff at the property are some of the best, everybody recognising and acknowledging the guests. As tight as I want to keep this review, it is hard to not stop raving about the room, the balcony and the views! Everybody at the property went above and beyond to make our stay as romantic as possible! So good that it was hard for us to ever leave the room! The location is another highlight. Walking distance from practically everything you'd desire on your trip to Paris. 1er Arrondissement is at the heart of Paris with excellent Taxi and Public Transport links. I can assure the team that we will keep returning to Kimpton St. Honore Paris every time we're back in Paris and will keep raving and recommending the amazing staff here to any and all of our friends. This hotel was recommended by our friends who live in Switzerland . It is there "go to hotel" and I now understand why. This boutique hotel will not disappoint. We had the base room ,which didn't have alot of storage space but certainly was very comfortable with an excellent bed , quality bed linens and renovated shower facilities ( no bath) We did not have the breakfast but did have coffee in the upscale breakfast room looking into the modern garden and colourful lounge with a gas fireplace. Bring a bathing suit. The pool is small but warm and the wet sauna is a treat after a day in Paris. The facility is very clean. Staff very accommodating. This is the perfect jewel.
