There was a mystery wet spot on my blanket, making half the bed unusable. The lone reception worker was unable to give me a new room despite the hotel being half empty for some reason. Then there was a group of guests who inexplicably started singing and shouting at 03:00 in the night. When confronting the reception, nothing coukd be done as "nobody coukd be located". Then in the morning, group members of my travel group found a drunk and passed out person slumped on a chair on the first floor. The last point worthy of speaking about was the food. Buffet for dinner and breakfast. While the variety was ok, the quality felt like a cheap reststop buffet instead of a 4 star hotel. Es gibt sogar einen Barista. Das Hotel macht auf den ersten Blick (Lobby, Speisesaal, Bararea) einen tollen Eindruck. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr abgelebt und hätten dringend ein Update nötig. Ich spreche hier von den Basics: neue Toilettenschüsseln (vergilbt), neue Duschköpfe (verkalkt), neue Handtuchhalter (verrostet), Teppichgrundreinigung (zahlreiche Flecken), neue Silikonfugen in der Dusche (Schimmel), Badtüren die auch wirklich verschließen und keinen 5cm großen Spalt haben. Wir waren wirklich sehr enttäuscht vom Zustand unseres Zimmers. Ich habe dies auch gleich an der Rezeption gemeldet. Die angebotene Reinigung des Zimmers hätte nichts gebracht da es sich hier um Instandhaltungsprobleme handelt und kein Reiniger der Welt diese auf die Schnelle hätte beheben können. Hier sollte das Hotelmanagment bzw. die Arena-Gruppe unbedingt bald handeln zumal keine sehr kostspieligen Erneuerungen nötig wären. Der Sauberkeits-Standard entspricht aktuell nicht mehr dem eines 4*-Hotels in der EU. Generell hätte auch die tägliche Reinigung gründlicher sein, bzw. überhaupt stattfinden können. Der Boden im Bad wurde in einer Woche nicht einmal richtig gewischt oder gesaugt. Dies ist so schade denn eigentlich sind die Zimmer recht nett eingerichtet und im Marina-Wing hört man so gut wie nichts von den Zimmernachbarn und hat durch die bequemen Betten eigentlich auch einen guten Schlaf. Wir können uns gut vorstellen wiederzukommen. Allerdings nur, wenn die Zimmer etwas aufgefrischt werden.

If I had to note a few small drawbacks: The beach area is huge but even still can get crowded, so you’ll want to arrive early to secure a spot, chair, or cabana. There's plenty of free parking and there are nice tree-lined walks in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel is extremely comfortable - good size rooms/bathrooms which are kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent with an extensive choice of delicious hot and cold foods, all very fresh and varied each day. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. There's a salt-water pool which is very clean, as is the whole pool area - maintained early each morning by hotel staff. During our stay, we encountered only one issue which we felt let the hotel down somewhat - the absence of any free tap/drinking water at dinner time. At 5.60 euros for a large bottle, it becomes expensive every day. Free tap water should always be available. To the hotel's credit, and after raising this issue with a manager, we were delighted to see that water became available from a dispenser in the dining area at dinner time a couple of days later. The staff were so friendly and helpful when my wife required some medical attention for her infected insect bite they signposted us to the tourist hospital. We dined at the on-site restaurant twice because the quality of food was so good and was reasonably priced. Aperol spritz only 8€ as an example. Highly reccomended and we hope to visit again in future anniversaries.

Wir waren max. 20 min. beim Frühstück und in dieser Zeit war das Zimmer schon gereinigt ( mehr auf zack zack ) so richtig sauber war es nicht . Das Frühstück: ist normal angerichtet , für jeden was dabei. Nur mit den Brötchen/ Brot da gab es nicht viel zur Auswahl. Wer früher Frühstückt hat die Chance besseres Brot zu bekommen. Was auch traurig ist! Es sind nur 12 Zimmer und die bekommen es nicht hin für jedes Zimmer einen Tisch zu machen. Es gab nicht einmal Salz/ Pfefferstreuer für jeden Tisch , echt traurig. Auch die Terrasse war nicht einladend für die Urlaubsgäste aufgestellt wir hätten gerne so Abends noch was getrunken bei Kerzenschein und angenehmer Musik. Ach : die Straße führt ja direkt daneben und es ist wirklich eine starke Lärmbelästigung von lauten Autos und Motorräder . IM GROßEN UND GANZEN: DAS PREIS LEISTUNGSVERHÄLTNIS PASST GAR NICHT ! In my opinion the real gem of Croatian tourism. We were there last week having visited quite some years ago. It was as beautiful as ever. A ton of things to see and do. The island is large enough that you can find your own space, it never feels too crowded. We hired an electric buggy, 300 euros for the whole day, fits 4 adults. Get the 9 am ferry across, bring a picnic, rent a buggy and enjoy visiting Roman ruins, dinosaur footprints, the safari park and a ton of other fascinating things. The museum is a must visit attraction and there’s no extra charge to visit it. You can also eat at the hotel, on the day we were there they offered great food and generous portions for 35 euros per person (lunch). Highly recommended. Hope to return soon.

W POKOJACH JEST ROBACTWO KARALUCHY !!!Odradzam wszystkim ten hotel !!!Byłem w Centinera Resort dwa razy w tym roku. Ogólnie było spokojnie.Lecz kładę się spać gaszę światło i czuję,że coś po mnie chodzi.Zszokowany zrzuciłem to coś co po mnie chodziło ręką i upadło na podłogę.Zapaliłem światł i zobaczyłem robaka który szedł po podłodze.Zrobiłem zdjęcie bo nie wiedziałem co to jest.W Google wyskoczyła mi informacja,że jest to Karaluch .Wyskoczyłem z łóżka ,zacząłem zapalać światło w każdym pomieszczeniu.Na przedpokoju okazało się,że jest kilka Karaluchów które szybko chowały się w listwach przy podłodze,było ich mnóstwo ! W coraz większym szoku poszedłem i wziąłem telefon aby robić kolejne zdjęcia. Wracając na przedpokój już nie dojżałem żadnego.Lecz gdy zapaliłem światło w pokoju z aneksem kuchennym zobaczyłem jak po podłodze wzdłuż ściany idzie jeszcze jeden Karaluch.Nagrałem filmy które zamieszczę poniżej.Fdy wyszedł zza stołu wtedy zabiłem go klapkiem który miałem na nodze. Zdenerwowany, że coś tak obrzydliwego chodziło po mnie I, że jest w pomieszczeniu, pobiegłem w nocy do recepcji hotelowej aby poinformować o tym co mnie spotkało i ,że mają Karaluchy w hotelu.Pracownik był zaniepokojony,zadzwonił do menagera,ten kazał dać mi inny pokój. Odmówiłem,gdyż zachodzi prawdopodobieństwo,że w innych pokojach także są Karaluchy.Poinformowałem,że wynoszę się i śpię w samochodzie na parkingu hotelowym.A także,że rano chcę rozmawiać z managerem.Rano zaniosłem klucze do recepcji,niestety poinformowano mnie,że menagera nie ma,że za pośrednictwem Booking zwrócą mi pieniądze za ostatnią noc.Była to rozmowa w tonie lekceważącym !Lekceważące jest zachowanie menagera w stosunku co do gościa hotelowego który zgłasza problem a ten nie przyjeżdża ,bo wie ,że rozmowa do przyjemnych nie będzie należała.Nie dostałem żadnego zwrotu gotówki,nawet Booking ma to gdzieś.Czyli wniosek jest jeden. Centinera Resort chce gości,lecz ma robactwo w budynkach.Od odpowiedzialności się uchyla,bo myślą sobie ,że trafili ,,głupiego Polaczka,,Nie ,nie trafili na ,,głupiego Polaczka,,.Karaluchy roznoszą groźne choroby i wirusy !Niedopuszczalne jest aby owady były w ośrodku przeznaczonym do przyjmowania osób !Nie dopuszczalne jest aby brać pieniądze i uchylać się od konsekwencji za poważne naruszenia i niedociągnięcia!Każdy Hotel i firma udostępniająca pokoje do pobytu dla gości,jest zobowiązana do zachowania i przestrzegania warunków i przepisów higienicznych i sanitarnych a w szczególności do przeprosin zwrotu kosztów i natychmiastowego zamknięcia obiektu w celu przeprowadzenia dezynsekcji !Lecz Centinera Resort ma to gdzieś,Zarządzający,tak samo jak i obsługa dobrze wiedzą ,że mają robactwo i udają głupków !!! Jeżeli chcecie aby po was chodziły Karaluchy,wchodziły do waszych prywatnych rzeczy.Aby chodziły po jedzeniu,naczyniach typu szklanka,łyżka widelec.To jedźcie do Centinera Resort,tam macie to zagwarantowane !!! Tylko nie zdziwcie się potem jak wydacie dużo pieniędzy,bo zarazicie się jakąś paskudną chorobą bądź wirusem które właśnie przeniosły Karaluchy!!! Ponadto nie zdziwcie się jak przywieziecie w swoim bagażu Karaluchy do własnego domu!! Ten Resort powinien się nazywać ,,Karaluchy Resort,, ponieważ zamieszkuje w nim robactwo ! Die Zimmer sind etwas sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Matratzen mehr als durchgelegen. Zimmer sehr klein. Stauraum nur zwei sehr schmale Schränke ohne Ablageflächen. Essen war wirklich lecker, allerdings immer nur lauwarm oder kalt, was mich nicht wundert, bei einer Raumtemperatur von gefühlt 15°. Etwas zuviel des Guten beim abkühlen 😊 Auch war das Geschirr nie wirklich sauber. Egal ob Gläser, Teller oder Besteck, man fand von 10 mindestens 7 schmutzige. Tipp : immer was Warmes für obenrum einpacken und einfach wegschauen! Strand : der rechts gelegene ist an sich ja schön, allerdings ist das Wasser in der "Bucht" einfach nicht sauber (schlammig) , da sich da alles fängt. Und es ist auch sehr niedrig. Tipp : Die Gäste sollen links etwa 500m gehen, dort ist das Meer wie man es erwartet und wunderschön 😊 Der Pool 🙈 so kalt, dass sogar abgehärtete Männer Schwierigkeiten hatten, da rein zu gehen. Personal sehr freundlich 😊 Hotel gut gelegen für Ausflüge, was wir oft genutzt haben.
