Had a beer & Latte on arrival - lager was crisp & the Latte a good size. Ordered the sausage roll which I thought very small for price - my wife had had the chicken skewer sandwich which she found fantastic & filling. I sometimes find with tapas places portions very small & pricey as with the Cumberland & chorizo sausage roll.

Good offers on midweek too for tapas, I recommend the vegan burrito, cauliflower, patatas bravas and all the vegan desserts. Steak was so fatty and wasn’t that hungry by time it came , but thought we would give it another go as it’s supposed to be so good. Wish I never bothered coming it was a night of wasted £200 for the 4 of us. We pre booked and asked for a booth as one of our party is in a wheelchair, yet when we arrived no booth just normal seating. For the money your paying to eat here I expect absolutely amazing service, very tasty food and not to be waiting over an hour yet we were highly dissatisfied. Took 25 mins for us to receive our first drinks? Very Poor.Steak came over an hour and half after seating and all 3 steaks were cooked wrong and so fatty. The birthday girls meal wasn’t even correct, wrong steak, cooked wrong and wrong sauce. She then had to wait 15 mins for a new meal to be cooked and everyone else had finished their food by then. What a celebration for her 21st who chose to come here! The meal come and was what she asked for, however the steak was so fatty just like the rest of ours and the tomato wasn’t even cooked? A small detail but when her original meal was totally wrong you’d expect this one to be perfect no? The girl who served us was lovely, extremely apologetic for the mess up and even brought as brownie for free at the end for the birthday girl. Honestly such a let down the food is not worth the amount of money you pay and how long you’re waiting. We were sat for over 2 hours long and most of the time was sat waiting not eating which is a joke. This is my second time with the same service and wait times I will not be returning, so un happy this is the experience my sister got for her 21st.

Despite it being so quiet we were really disappointed with the amount of time it took for service during our visit. We did not leave until just before 17:30 so two hours for 2 people having a two course meal. We both ordered the mini desert with coffees. The deserts arrived and we sat and waited and waited for the coffee’s which sadly never arrived until we managed to speak with the head of house. She explained there had been an error on the bar. By the time they did arrive we had eaten the desert which sort of made the idea of desert and a hot drink counter intuitive and extremely disappointing. When the coffees finally arrived the young man placed them on the table using his fingers on the rim of the cup. Perhaps to stop him spilling it into the saucer like the other one he delivered. The general atmosphere was quiet but warm and comfortable. There were lots of staff sat around the corner near to the toilets in what appeared to be a form of staff meeting. The excellent service provided by the staff stands out, along with the atmosphere and 10-star food. Absolutely perfect all round. From walking in to the building staff were attentive and soon got us sat in the restaurant. Drinks in hand and food ordered. We were the only customers eating and there was only one chap sat at the bar. It took about 45 minutes for our food to be served and it was obvious that both meals had been over cooked. My wife's Steak pie filling was nice but the pastry was hard and both portions of the triple cooked chips were also hard. The staff didn't offer any apology and when I asked about what the chef had said about the lack of quality they said that he had gone home! I suspect the pies had been put in the oven and forgotten about and the chips having been pre cooked were just warmed up. The staff didn't charge me for the meal I didn't (couldn't) eat, but did charge full price for my wife's just edible meal. It was incredibly busy but the staff were extremely friendly and got us seated as soon as a table was free. We arrived at 1.30pm at the height of the dinner rush. We sat down in the restaurant and began to eat our food which was great may I add however just behind us I noticed the supervisor in charge had pulled a member of staff into the corner to have a conversation not sure if it was bout her work performance or general complaints but the way she spoke to that poor girl and how loud she was speaking was disrespectful not only that it was so undignified and unprofessional, the supervisor should of pulled this girl to a quiet office away from the restaurant and not where customers could hear what was being said. Amazing food and fabulous service - we've been here quite a few times now after moving to the area earlier this year and we've never been disappointed. The coffee ordered was EXCELLENT lovely strong and flavoursome although it was served on the cold side being my only grip. The food we had was well presented and tasted good.
