On arriving it was very loud and quite busy which isn't an issue. As for me it shows people want to be there. After being undecided about what drinks to get we were told by the waitress she would give us a few minutes to decide then come back. After a significant amount of time and her not returning I went to find someone who could serve us. The drinks we ordered were amazing as always. The food wasn't as good. The menu seemed slightly different so I opted for the marinated lamb chop. Which once half way though was pink and bloody. Now I no this is how some people like their lamb. But I am not one of those people. I wasn't asked how I would like it to be cooked. And maybe the fault lays a little with me as I didn't think to ask. But this alone put me off my food. And I didn't eat it. I also ordered the tenderstem broccoli which tasted like it had been cooked in margarine. Again this was a big put off. So overall I was disappointed with the food and did leave still hungry. But what got me was the fact my bill was brought to the table before we had even finished eating. Which one of the staff thought was highly amusing (blonde hair). I thought this was extremely rude. And stated so. Completely ruined to moment aswell for my friend to make our friends with benefits relationship into am official one. So not only have I returned home hungry, I have also returned home still a friend with benefits. Thanks

We had lunch and the pricing was straightforward and offered great value at £8. One of my colleagues has an allergy,the Chef spoke to him and was able to provide a meal that was perfect for him. The Camden Hells, was the best pint I have had of this beer anywhere in the UK. Dogs are welcome, and kids too, although we never saw any of them. Drinks literally never came out, we finished our food and our drinks had still not come so we got a refund for that on the way out. Slight issue there is you actually pay and have to choose your tip when ordering so I gave 10% but not only is that 10% on a higher amount that included drinks we never had but I wouldn't have even given a tip based on the service.

Although it can be quite busy and sometimes booked out the staff do their best to keep ontop of everything, any mistakes are rectified as soon as possible and if you order a lot of dishes it's a constant flux of food being brought to your table, each dish is well made and full of varied flavours. Honestly it's a great spot to dine and enjoy company with a partner or friends, good drinks are also available with quite a nice variety, though not many ciders there is a lot of cocktails and other drinks to enjoy. Really nice clean eatery with well presented outfoor and indoor seating and facilities. Short but varied menu, with a separate lunch menu. Tried the Philly Cheese Steak and Chamo Chicken Tacos, presentation was exceptional, very well made and very colourful dishes that look delightful. Chamo Chicken Tacos were a delight, great price for 3 and a really tasty mix of ingredients! The Philly Cheese Steak tacos were poor sadly, the beef was very bland and barely any cheese flavour at all. Presented well but lacking flavour, could be a one off looking at other ratings. Fries were great, soft drink prices very high. More expensive than you would expect for a small tucked away food spot, but the presentation and effort were very impressive and the Chamo Chicken Tacos are a must try.

So glad I finally visited here and I’m disappointed I haven’t been sooner. Maybe one of the nicest meals I have ever eaten! We ordered the chicken tacos, the filling and toppings were so flavoursome and all complimented one another beautifully. The Shrimp Boba was amazing, there were prawns and oysters in, so definitely a great portion size. The bread that was served with the Boba was unbelievable and perfectly topped the dish. We had some fries on the side which we had no complaints on, if you love skinny fries then these are for you! We ordered Sauvignon and enjoyed our meal sat in the garden, which is nicely decorated and comfortable. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! I’m not usually descriptive with reviews but Chamo’s deserves it 100%.

We were there for a meal cooked by Dan Merriman and Sean Wrest. Every course was extremely well prepared , inventive and sumptuous to eat. Each course introduced. From the moment we walked, there was a lovely warm welcome and a sense of being excited to welcome us , even though we were late due to traffic. Coats taken, we sat at a beautifully positioned table to the front of the restaurant , with the beautiful spring sunshine peeping through. We had the gold buffet, with a couple of changes. Every member of our group was catered for, Cat helped us to make changes to cater for vegetarian and gluten free diets. I ordered the scrambled eggs with a side of smoked salmon as I saw someone’s go past looking delightful. Initially upon driving up we became a little concerned as the car park was not lit up. Eventually we discovered a disabled car parking space and parked up. After ensuring our Blue Badge was on display we entered the restaurant, the signposts outside had "threatened" fines regardless of BB status so we had to ensure our vehical was registered on the restaurant database to avoid any charges, that took just moments at the computer station inside the main door of the restaurant. We were shown to a booth seating place and handed the menu to peruse, luckily a member of our group had a Taste Card. That ensured a huge discount on our overall bill, almost buy one get one free. Our attendant was fabulous, quick to react, responsive and good natured. The table was clean as was the cutlery. The menu was slightly sticky, but the toilets (disabled) were clean and organized. It terms of the service including bar service, both were prompt and attentive to our requests. Regarding the food, we had already informed the waiter of a cheese allergy and he ensured we had a complete and total knowledge of the ingredients in each meal. When our meals arrived we both felt as though we were being watched like hawks by staff, asked several times if our meals were ok it was just too much. I wanted the evening to be spent soaking up our happy news and instead I felt like we had 12 staff sat on the table with us!!! One staff member actually took my partners cream brûlée from him as he was still eating!!! It was crazy. As my partner was paying the staff member said ‘ you have the button to press for the tip you want to leave sir’ feeling obliged we left £5 tip spending a total of £100 for 2 pastas and a garlic bread & one cream brûlée. I wouldn’t recommend visiting unless you’re going just for the beautiful decor. Food was mediocre.

I ordered the hunters chicken which the chicken part was the smaller of the portion but an oversized portion of garden peas and chips accompanied it. Had high hopes due to the reviews however left with a bitter taste. Firstly the poor service, wasn’t given menus on arrival had to ask. About 15 minutes later someone came over and told us there was a larger table of people so they we’re priority and then our food would come out. Goosnargh Duck (“served pink” according to the menu) was sadly rather grey, dry and over cooked. Poor duck gave my jaw a workout. The creamed cabbage side was over salted. We ordered a Steak and Ale pie and specifically asked if the pie was home made and was told yes. If it was home made they did very well to make it look like a shop bought pie. We raised the issue with 2 members of staff who just said sorry and walked away. When paying the bill no mention of the issues and no offers of recompense. The burger tasted lovely and had a hand cooked taste. Very nice treacle sponge and look forward to next meal. Was served in a extra hot plate, so had to wait ages for it to cool down to eat it by then the mash potato got cold and dry and to finish my pannacota was runny. No body came around to check if everything was OK with our food or if we wanted more drinks or any sauce for the steak served with chips. Finally as the weather was so lovely I took advantage of the raised terrace to enjoy cake in the direct heat of the sun. Perfectly doable within the time I had before I went back for my train. Unfortunately trying the lunchtime menu was mixed. My starter of prawns was ok but even Aldi do something similar. My main was lasagne which was literally bubbling hot, infact so hot I had to wait for it to cool and was still only half way through eating when my friends had finished their meals. Whilst this may not be a problem to some, having hot food, the end result was that most of it was stuck to the oven proof dish and inedible. The creme brulee was the smallest I have even eaten anywhere. Usually the food is fantastic but today it was average. However the waiting staff were very friendly and efficient. The biggest issue I encountered was getting food poisoning which lasted 3 days. I assume it was the meal from here as everything I had eaten the days before were also eaten by my partner. We ate different food at the restaurant and their food was the only food I eaten that day. So now I find myself thinking should I go back and try this place again given that 1) the food was disappointing and 2) The food gave me food poisoning? Very disappointed that one of my favorite places has left me sad.

No issues with the service. Staff came over several times to check if everything was ok. Did consider getting a dessert. We asked for a bit of time to decide which they gave us. Decided to give desserts a miss and think it was a wise choice as we were both pretty full after our mains. First time I have been to a Beefeater. A little reluctant to go back after a shocking meal at the Beefeater on Salford Quays. However, it’s chalk and cheese comparing this Beefeater with the one in Salford. I asked the manager if they had a separate vegetarian menu and was told no. Unfortunately the main menu and specials menu offered very limited veggie options. Basically 5 Pasta or pizza options, where as my meat eating friends had more like 30 options. I fancied a roast dinner, I love roast veg with maybe a nut roast or something similar? Unfortunately theres nothing like this on the menu. Although I did notice many of the meat and fish dishes on the menu come with roast veg. I mentioned this to the manager and he became very defensive. I was told "theirs plenty of other restaurants in the area, I'm sure they have more veggie options I could try" "we are very busy, we have 100 guest a night" I explained I wasn't being rude or trying to upset him, just trying to offer him a bit of constructive feedback. He told me he's too busy , it's not his job discuss menu options, if I want to give feedback I should do it online - so here I am! One of my friend ordered the ribeye steak, he asked to swap the potatoes for chips, the manager told him this wasn't an option, the potatoes and vegetables are already prepared, if he wants chips he'll have to order a separate side dish and basically have both brought to the table. After discussing this madness for few minutes the manager said his only option would be to swap all his potatoes and all of the other vegetables for the chips, he agreed went along with this option. This dish alone was priced at £24! To be told he couldn't swap his potatoes for chips is ridiculous I ordered the veggie lasagna, unfortunately it didn't come with any vegetables, just swimming in cheese. Presentation was awful and unfortunately tasteless and bland. We had a quick look at the Christmas menu that was sat on the table , again I was disappointed with the veggie options. God help you if your vegan!! It seems the little touches have been lost too, friendly chats with the staff, asking us how our day has been, how the family is, topping up our wine glasses etc isn't apparent either. Considering the prices of the food and drinks, this is the least I'd expect. Overall a pretty poor night out, a waste of money and (even more annoying ) a waste of a rare baby sitter It's such a shame , I used to love coming to this restaurant but it seems the food , atmosphere and the service to have all gone downhill. On the plus side the garlic bread and garlic mushrooms were excellent

The menu and food was amazing as ever. The staff are very attentive so you are never sat waiting for long even when it is really busy as it was last night. Went as a large family visit and young kiddies. First impressions are that's is wasn't very family friendly as they didn't have a kiddy menu but they simply said they can have anything on the menu in smaller portions. The food was very tasty and well presented . The staff are very well presented and organised and the price was very reasonable considering the quality. Will be going back again soon.
