The wait times were non-existent, and the food was very nice compared to other breakfast 'all-you-can-eats' as we had been told. A lot of these buffet breakfasts can be too bland, too cold, and just leave you feeling like you'd been better off with a bowl of cereal and getting out of there. The food here had a lot of flavour, was warm-to-hot, and was constantly getting changed. The staff were really accommodating and helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant was filthy. Muck on the floor, build up of filth around the edges of the walls, tables not wiped down adequately. Patches of mustard still left over from the carvery the night before, and the seats... slopped up with crumbs and residue galore. I will let the pics speak for themselves. I think this is down to a shortage in staff, as is the case with most places, but still, it was enough to make us rethink coming back, and once we noticed, did put us off our food. Before that I admit the food was better than expected, but the state of it wouldn't have me going back for breakfast or dinner.

The Yorkshire puddings were freezing cold and uncooked at the bottom, the beans and eggs were watery.. sausages soft and hardly cooked and the hash browns were the same colour before they were cooked to when they were cooked. Absolutely vile breakfast and inedible. We then sat and waited for at least 20 mins for the bill to come when we realised no one was coming we had to find a waitress to pay at the bar. Absolutely awful service and food, really disappointed.

I ordered 2 days ago for the 1st time via Deliveroo and the fries and patty were ok but I really enjoyed the Po Boy, I also ordered Mac n cheese and was called to say they had ran out and I'd be issued a refund which I was ok with. No refund was issued so I contacted Deliveroo directly to get it sorted. I was so impressed with the Po Boy I decided to order 2 more today for my hubby to try along with the seafood mac n cheese and 2 more patties and now the issues started!!! Firstly I was advised by Deliveroo after waiting almost an hour that my order was given to the wrong driver, I thought these things can happen so I requested to reorder again instead of a refund and I wish I didn't bother. The Po Boy buns were so burnt and rock hard and unfortunately inedible. I was so disappointed! Such a shame to know a member of staff there was comfortable adding the prawn filling on top of those burnt buns and sending it out for delivery. I would have probably become a regular and my husband and I are always using Deliveroo but when you receive food with such lack of care is can make you uncomfortable with the service standards there. I am known for my Mac the cheese and was really excited to try the seafood version but it was a complete miss, not tasty, not made with macaroni, just not good at all and for a whopping £10 too. Maybe the service and food is better when eating in but you'll be taking a risk if ordering online. Im a stickler for detail and always check out new restaurants before ordering. I almost didn't place my 1st order when I saw the owners response to another negative review calling a customer a liar and writing in bold which is so unprofessional even if they weren't being honest, you could just sense the attitude. But I thought as a Caribbean woman myself I would love to support this business, there are not enough available making Caribbean cuisine around here but unfortunately I won't be returning. To the owner! I have uploaded pictures for you to see the burnt food I received yesterday. The last photo was from the day before. Hopefully you use this to follow up with your staff and hopefully not loose another customer for silly avoidable mistakes.
