It's a small family restaurant. The baked goods are homemade. I think all of them are top quality. I love the coconut cake. The staff is super nice to us. Since we only order one coconut cake, she cuts the cake into two and serves us by 2 plates. Thank you for her caring to seniors. We always come here only for afternoon tea since we live in Vancouver. We didn't try the sandwich and soup. But the sandwich looks good from the other table, we have the bagel and it is always good. The coffee and tea are good. We enjoyed the pumpkin cranberry muffin and toasted coconut cake. For a GF muffin it had a fine and lovely texture and chpck full of cranberry. The coconut cake is rich and very satisfying. Both are highly recommended. To drink we had the mocha and Drunkin Pumpkin Latte. The mocha was rich without feeling heavy. I'm pretty sure I am an honorary pirate after drinking the Latte; it was a very generous pour of rum. The service seemed a bit hectic at times but was friendly despite being sp busy. They are soo slow my order was literally on top for still brewing but they could not make that. I was waiting there for more than 5 mins. They did everything super slow. Even picking up Cups or putting cream or anything to make a drink took them a while. The drink that should take them less than minute to make. They took 2-3 mins to make one. I have been to other tim hortons places they do their work really fast but these guys were slow as a turtle. So I had to leave my steeped tea behind and catch bus I wasted my money.
