The space is lovely. The staff is warm and friendly. The food (the kind of old- school Chinese familiar to Americans) is outstanding. The menu is nice, too: big enough anyone can find something they like but not so big that it seems mass produced. When we went in the place actually looked good. The bathroom was exceptional and the flooring and buffet area looked nice. We got a booth and as soon as i sat down i sunk. I guess the cushion underneath the seats are broken or something but i just fell right into the seat. We switched to a table. All of the food was good. They had some good options. The sushi bar wasn't large and wasn't good either. There were a bunch of flies in the dessert section mainly near the sugared peanuts. Everything else was good but i don't think we'll be back. Edit: went there again today. Food was better than last time no flies anywhere other than one pesky fly which kept bothering us at our table. Went at about 6:00 last time but this time we came at 4 hoping to beat the traffic. They put us at a better table but the paint on the seat was coming off. The sushi bar definitely had quite a few more options, but still was a little small to my liking. The crunchy cabbage things by the sushi smelled like bleach so i didn't dare eat it. Floor was slippery like last time and it was a little worrying that we would slip. The price was way worse than last. We spent i belive around 20-25 dollars for 2 adults and 2 children. This time we had 2 adults and 1 child. The price was above 30 dollars. I calculated and it was 4.99 per child and 12.79 per adult. They must've raised the prices since last time.

Not knowing if it was a oasis or mirage we obeyed our noses and went on in. A beautiful woman seated us and what laid before us made us weak in the knees. As much as I could have filled my pit from the sushi bar I decided to share with the other patrons and move on to the buffet bars. Everything on point. They were free and we couldn’t even enjoy that. Waste of 70$. Would have been better off eating at the other three Chinese food places we past to get to there. No restaurant should ever serve this type of nonsense and get away with it. It was takeout so that’s all I really can review is the horrible food. Update: it is 6am and everyone in my house has been throwing up since 2-6 am after they ate the little bit that they tried to from flower drum This was a horrendous experience.

However I do have to also include the service. My experience there has quite honestly been good, however I cannot ignore how slow the service can be. Understandably, there is usually only one person who both takes orders and cooks the food. On top of that, when I changed the number of items for the 2 pints of chicken fried rice to 1 (because I get a pint with my coconut chicken for $4.90 saving me $2.55) it changed automatically from a pint to a quart. All I did was change the number from 2 to 1 and selected the update quantity option. So again, charging me for extra food I did not order. Go to the website and do as I did, and you will see exactly what I am talking about. After going back and forth with the manager who was trying so hard not to give me a refund. Mind you, I didn't even open the bags. The staples and everything else was still intact the exact same way they handed it to me. He began stating that I am supposed to review my order before submitting it. Well, had I done anything other than those 2 things and / or clicked on any other items, then what I did, then I definitely would have thoroughly double-checked my order. So I brought to his attention that nowhere in the terms and conditions from ordering online does it say that if I negligently review my order before submitting it (which was not the case but I still wasn't aware of that at that point) that I have to to pay for food that I didn't order, didn't need, won't eat, and will waste. Meanwhile, I'm telling him I will come back up there with my still stapled unopened bags and allow you to open my bags and remove the automatically added items yourself. After he finally agreed, I did just that. While I was on my way back to the store, I figured out who, what, when, where, why, and how all this happened. SO WAIT, THERE'S MORE! IT GETS WORSE! While he is trying to go through the process of giving me my refund, I VERY NICELY explained to him that on the way back up there, I discovered a glitch on their website and that if he had 45 seconds for me to show him that I gladly will. He acted as if I was speaking unmentionables to him and was quickly trying to ignore what I was saying. So much so that he charged my card for $20 instead of refunding me the $20. That takes 7-10 BUSINESS days to get back. So now I'm short $40 from my bank account for 2 separate things that I wasn't at fault for.
