I think this is one of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had, it was on point. The staff are really kind, I forgot to ask for almond milk on my latte but I told them and they changed it!

I love supporting this business and we always order from this cafe either dine in, take out or deliveries. I added instructions for additional salad dressing that I use for sandwich cause it is too dry. They charge more than a dollar for a very small container. We’re fine with it. We ordered brown cheese pancake and we ask for a little extra cheese per say, they charged us $5 for it. Foods are really good and we love it. They should put a fix price for add-ons instead of being surprised how much they charge you for a little extra. Service and no appreciation for loyal customers. Seems it is the same owner but different servers now. Old servers are super nice and accommodating. I would rather not ask for anything extra if I know it would cost as much as a coffee or cake already. We spend like $65-$90 every time we order from them but would rather eat somewhere else now.

Tried this cafe for breakfast.
We ordered the matcha and tiramisu soufflé pancakes, which were soft, jiggly, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The plating was done very nicely. The sausage platter also came in a
generous portion.
Service was prompt and friendly. The interior was spacious, though it could have been more aesthetically pleasing. I liked that the space had plenty of natural light. The cafe is conveniently located in New Westminster, with ample parking available.
I do think this cafe is on the pricier side. We paid $100 for four people, including tip.
We’ll definitely be back, especially for their soufflé pancakes!

I read some reviews and thought how amazing to have a bakery and coffee shop to try out. I had no idea we couldn’t sit inside and it was all sealed up. There was no visible menu and the lady seemed impatient because I wasn’t sure what to order. She just pointed to the fridge section and said whatever I see is what they had.
This place looked so promising. The baked items did look amazing so I got the chocolate and almond croissants to go. I got their turkey sandwich which was delicious and the pumpkin spiced latte was like anywhere else.
My friend and I sat outside and it was freezing cold and informal. I would just come here next time to get baked items to go.

The teas are creative and healthy. The coffees are excellent. If i grab a latte, it'd be the soy matcha latte. However, these days, I may get a caramel macchiato. Occasionally, I'll have a nice pour over.
There's a variety of desserts. For me, the Berry Forest cake is 'choice'. It's not very sweet and quite light. For others, there are sweeter options.
If you need to fill the tummy, there are large sandwiches to choose from. They're full of ingredients and, of course, nutritious!

The food was good, we came here for lunch. They have sandwiches and soup. Today's soup options were all vegetarian with one vegan option (vegetable tomato) and it came with bread. You can also get soup and sandwich combo. The tomato soup was a bit salty for my taste but had barley which I love! Our table also got a turkey sandwich which was good. My only problem is that they use microwaves to heat up your food.

If you are in burnaby and feel decafenated then look no further n head towards this cafe with roadside parking. Huge space i would say. Parking is paid though.
It was jam packed at 4:00 pm wen we entered ( its coffee time for all). The first thing i noticed was the wall full of paintings wid sign to purchase . I appreciate the efforts to do that n a good way of art promotion. FYI i was gonna buy one but then I thought i will paint myself( atleast i can try)
Nevermind. Lets talk about all the good n delicious delicacies i treated myself with. Wasn’t starving but could eat a little so thought of trying the ginger carrot soup. Adding a croissant just made it better at a price of $8.50(not bad)
Then my sweet tooth kicked in so ordered the cake with my all time favourite cappuccino n chai latte for my partner in crime. That too at $3.35 n $4.00 respectively.😁
There should be more couches as people like to be more comfortable at a coffee shop or atleaat at a boutique cafe. Else, there was good seats . You order ur food at the counter n pay for it. Collect your culinary n wait for ur name to be called once ur order is ready.

Very good pastries and friendly staff. If the staff see your dog, they will offer them a treat. They also have a bowl of water outside for your dog. Unfortunately, they have shifted to a store-front type of cafe and don’t currently have any seating indoors or a bathroom you can use. There are a couple chairs outside but not ideal for cold weather. Definitely recommend stopping in if your walking by to grab a treat on the go.

We came across this cozy little Korean café by chance and decided to give it a try — what a pleasant surprise!
Both the iced Americano and latte were above average. The coffee was smooth and well-balanced, with great flavor.

I love this cafe.
It was easy to get to - very near the bus stop. Cozy, vintage vibes, and owned by a Japanese couple. I had Japanese latte, which was nicely made. It wasn’t too sweet.
I think the only disadvantage is the small space. I was fortunate enough to have visited on a weekday so there was a lot of available seats. Seating capacity is good for around 8 people.

Tried their flat white and I really loved the taste. They use their own freshly roasted medium dark roast. This was one of the best tasting coffee I've tried in recent years and I'd highly recommend it. They sell their beans as well that can be purchased in store. Finding great coffee is near impossible in BC! Not to say that other coffee shops are bad, but most are painfully generic. Veroni & Co. has very well trained staff who have excellent knowledge in their craft. I ordered a macchiatto which is off menu, but they were able to execute a perfect one.
Their beans are roasted in house and you could tell the roaster takes pride in their craft. I was able to discern the full body character, and the nuances of the beans throughout a sip.
Though I tend to favour single origin coffees, the blend was perfectly executed. The medium acidity complemented the mild citrus notes that first hit you. It then evolved into a very clean chocolatey finish. Reminiscent of a wet-hulled Indonesian bean.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience here. Thank you!

I just have came back the 2nd time after having two tasty cups of Choco Mocha & Coffee Latte at my first time. My bf and I was totally impressed.
This time, we got Tiger Eye & Crema. Both taste amazing!! If you enjoy Dalgona coffee, Tiger Eye is the best option for you !! Crema has a creamy milky foam on top and it tastes nicely with the espresso part. GO ENJOY THESE SEASONAL DRINKS (Crema, Tiger Eye, Espresso soda) BEFORE SUMMER REALLY ENDS. ^^
The barista was friendly and nice ^^ There’s only 1 person who’s in charge of the café shop during the day.
I really want this cafe shop to be shouted out widely since its hidden location can be the reason why fewer coffee drinkers come & visit. ☺️
Additionally, there is no seat available inside the store also. You have to sit somewhere outside.
Except for that, their drinks are real must-try 💯

Veroni coffee entrance is very small. It's on the second floor of the Hannam Mart plaza inside the plaza. I had originally come for the Tiger eye coffee but unfortunately they didn't have 3 (out of their Tiger Eye, espressoda and cream) out of the 5 specialty coffees so I had no choice but to try the cloud. The cloud coffee had a strong coffee base. Really liked the flavour of their beans. The cloud on top was a cross between marshmallow and whipping cream. Not too sweet but a bit heavy. The first half of drinking it was nice but afterwards i was left with just cloud. Hopefully next time I'll be able to try the Tiger Eye coffee.

I tried the egg and avocado croissant and it was delicious. However, I ordered a flat white but it was basically a latte, which felt a bit disappointing for a specialty coffee shop. Cute & modern cafe located along Pier Park in New West on Front St near the New West Quay. I’d recommend using the paid parking lot a walkable distance (~15min walk) to the café in the “Shops of New West” where the Landmark Cinema is located. There’s also small strip of paid available right in front of the café, but it’s a bit more difficult to enter the lot, there’s limited spaces, and I’m not sure how much it costs. Very nice to visit especially when it’s sunny, I came on a good day and sat on the patio which overlooks the water.
My order:
Avocado Hummus Toast ($7.75): this was very reasonably priced, and is served on a thin piece of sour dough bread, and topped with arugula and balsamic vinegar. Very flavourful and good use of ingredients on top (they don’t cheap out)
Carrot Cake ($6.85): Super moist cake with real cream cheese, this was hands down my favourite item here along with the strong Viet iced coffee.
Red Velvet Cake ($6.85): tad bit too sweet for me, but I’m also not a fan of Red Velvet cake in general personally. It’s moist though.
Matcha & Almond Drop Cookies ($3.25), Red Velvet Cookie w/ Cream Cheese ($3.50) & Chocolate Chip Cookie ($3.25): Cookies were jumbo and very soft. Classic choco chip was my fave cookie. Red velvet had a cream cheese filling (too sweet). Matcha flavour wasn’t strong, but still enjoyable to eat.
Vietnamese Iced Coffee ($4.50): strong and yummy, I’d recommend this as well.
Matcha Frappé ($5.95): matcha flavour was on the weak side unfortunately, and it’s super creamy (especially with the whipped cream). I’d say it’s even creamier than Starbucks’ matcha frappe. I’d also recommend getting it half sweet.

I came here on two difference instances, first I tried the strawberry matcha and my friend and I agreed it was a 10/10. The strawberry purée mixed in well with the matcha itself unlike other places. The paragon matcha they use is very high quality and I enjoy the smoothness of this drink.
Then I tried a ginger matcha here because I saw it was a new menu item but I would probably not get it again. The ginger beer in the drink was too overpowering and the carbonation was strange with the matcha. The ginger and citrus flavours were great but I think just not for me. 5/10
The earl grey hojicha with oat milk on the other hand was great! My friend gave it a 8.5/10. Incredibly smooth, creamy and the earl grey paired very nicely with the nutty hojicha.
This place is also great for studying, there are many students seen here studying or chatting so it is a bit loud. But overall I highly recommend! It is to note that paragon matcha is made to be drank with oat milk/plant based milk.

my go-to place for matcha in burnaby and coquitlam! they have the slightly cheaper regular matcha lattes and then they have the premium matcha drinks like the strawberry and lavender.
the strawberry matcha has a really good flavour, i like that they use strawberry purée in it. do note that the glasses they use for the premium drinks are smaller though. if you want more matcha for a little less $ the iced matcha latte without the special flavours is great too.
unfortunately the sandwiches and cakes aren’t that good especially for the price point, i’ve found myself being disappointed each time i ordered any of them.

Their hometown latte is out of this world but what really makes soon coffee special to me is the smoothness of the espresso and the aftertaste is what really knocks it out of the park. Matcha* Latte Guys... D'oh!
I was pretty stoked to try out this coffee joint after learning that it was coming to the mall, it's also had some crazy amount of hype on social media since the launch. As it's just opened, I can't discredit staff from product knowledge, they were efficient and kind which was awesome.
I got a Matcha* Latte (lol not Maccha - huge typo!) and a Chai latte which were pretty good. The barista had to go check, they don't add syrup but it is a premixed powder with Coconut sugar but doesn't taste overly sweet but I don't like how they do not use actual tea bags. They also mix the matcha powder with water first so it's not entirely milk based and infact therefore a misto.
I do like how they support and uplift other local business by promoting Lee's Donuts from Granville Island. However, to be honest I wasn't super impressed from the available bakery goods and felt more like a trunk of somebody's car with cardboard boxes everywhere.
Earth's Own Oat Milk (barista style) is the perfect latte combo. However, an extra 75 cents seems to be pretty steep when the cup sizes are small compared to a lot of other vendors. They also offer no other dairy-free milk alternatives.
I would love if they could provide compostable style cups and lids which could be incorporated into the Brentwood Mall food court disposal system since I assume a huge amount of waste will be generated due to the amount of human traffic passing through that food court.
All in all, not crazy impressed to be completely honest and a huge social overload on the hype for a new joint.

In my opinion, this was a gem for me. It is a small, but cozy coffee shop right by metrotown skytrain station, so very convenient.
We had:
Almond Croissant ($5.20) - Super flaky and delicious.

My first time at Coffee Loft and it was delightful.
Staff is very courteous and friendly and greet you with smiles.
I ordered the egg and cheese on English muffin without bacon and they made a delicious sandwich and made some excellent replacements.

Indifferent service – The staff barely acknowledges customers. I ordered a latte and, as you can see in Photo 1, they packed the cup almost entirely with ice; the actual coffee was a tiny splash at the bottom.
Strict time limits – A “2-hour seating limit” sign (Photo 2) greets you at the counter. I’d planned to work on assignments with a friend, but the policy forced us to search elsewhere in Metrotown for a friendlier place to study.
No place to charge devices – The café seems to have only one outlet, and it’s taped over and marked “Out of order” (Photo 3). In 2025, that’s hard to excuse.

True gem! House made bagels were phenomenal. Had a couple of bagel sandwiches and they were made with care, fresh ingredients and toasted just perfect. Coffee (brewed and flat-white) was also tasty and made really well. It appears to be a family business (different owners from my last visit), they were kind, professional, courteous and very lovely. Bagels were so good we ended up pick up a half dozen more to go as we left. To me, these are a bit closer to buns when I compare them to my favourite Siegles bagels. However, they have wonderful light crunch exterior with pillowy, soft and chewy interior. They also seem to bake all other breads and buns and whip up their own cream cheese. Wonderful experience at the Flourist. They make excellent salads and toasts and a rotation of daily specials. The mushroom toast was very savoury and the hummus was very tahini heavy which I liked. Chicken wing tower came a bit slow but it was mostly worth the wait. Comes with a spice mix sprinkled on the fried batter that gives you a bit of a kick and a liquid tangy and salty sauce at that sits at the bottom of the tower. The only problem with this dish is that the wings sitting in the sauce become soggy. This is a must try, as it is different than most wings you had before.
Injeolmi (mochi lava bread) was delicious but extremely sweet. You better have your sweet tooth on because this is not an amateur's dish. Tough to craft and tough to eat, the flavours are absolutely amazing. It is served with two scoops of ice cream and a large portion of whipped cream and drizzled with caramel on-top of almond crumbs. Prepare to chew a lot, but it's a dish worth trying once.
Cream of mushroom soup (daily special)... Nothing interesting.

This is a order then sit down kind of place so don't expect much here other than some nice smiles.

I used to love this cafe so much( at least once a week), the coffee is really good and the staff were always very nice. However, I visited yesterday and had a pretty bad experience with one of the (an unfamiliar face, maybe a new hire i m not sure). Decided to try the 🥧 pie’s for the first time today, I picked up on 1-Steak & Mushroom that you see open. And 1- Steak,Cheese & Bacon 🥓 🥧. The steak was tender easy to bite into and the mushrooms were well proportioned the gravy was just right. As for the pie 🥧 pastry it was thick but flaky and the right crunch when biting into it. I'm from Australia and I've ordered from Peaked Pies on Doordash under AKW over 100times, The pies have been great but I've noticed recently in the past few months that they've skimped on the ingredients of the pies. Sooooo many pies to choose from. Picked the Hopper and the Steak and cheese and bacon one. Both were awesome, ordered both "peaked" I didn't know I was a mushy peas guy but apparently I am because all of it tasted amazing. The work that obviously went into the crust and filling, the mashers peas and gravy make this place unique and a must not miss when you crave some real food, hand made wholesomeness. Really nice looking coffee shop. Right now I am on the search for the best coffee place around Burnaby. I wanted to try out their drip coffee black. Ordered 2 but they only had enough for 1 cup. The other cup they offered my an Americano. Guess they couldn't make another drip coffee pot?? Got 2 steamers for the kids and a Mac and Cheese pot pie. The drip coffee was very sour. This was under extracted and because it was sour really could not finish it. The Americano was so bitter I guess that is why you hit it was sugar and cream. I think they need to work on their pull method. Either the grind is off or the tamper pressure is not right. The steamers the kids enjoyed but they are pretty easily satisfied. The Mac and Cheese pot pie was not good. There was not much pasta in it and there was a lack of cheese. It wasn't even cheesy at all. Not sure I would label it Mac and cheese pot pie.

I was hesitant in giving a five star not because of their coffee or pastry, but their interior decor doesn't justify their "image." I stopped by the Chatime on East Hastings recently, and it was a really convenient location. It’s close to the Shoppers Drug Mart, and the bus stop is right next to it, so if you take the bus its also easy, and there’s even some parking available on the side of the shop.
Inside, the space is clean and there’s usually enough seating. It wasn’t too crowded when I went, so it felt relaxed. There’s a public washroom (shared for everyone), and it was surprisingly clean and well-maintained, with a sink and hand wash available.
The staff is nice, but i would say at least they should start being more welcoming and smiling. I ordered my favourite — the classic pearl milk tea. Prices start at just over $5. You can choose your sugar level, how much ice you want, and which add-ons to include like pearls or jelly. There’s a menu board that explains everything, which makes it easy to decide what you want.
Overall, I had a nice experience here. If you’re in the area and craving bubble tea, definitely check this place out!

I decided to visit the store to buy a drink. I ended up losing one of my glove at their store. I had to call them as I already left. Pretty yummy bubble tea as always from Chatime, AKA the OG, Grass Jelly Roasted Oat Milk Tea with Pudding is great value for money and a dope refreshing dessert for a warm summers afternoon in Van!
First time at this location, a nice chilled out, laid back and cosy vibed joint with plenty of seating. Staff initially made our order wrong, I was quite displeased being dairy intolerant and making the order pretty clear. Nonetheless, a nice BBT bar with minimalistic and comfy decor.
Chatime is awesome that it offers both a good rewards scheme and plant-based milk alternatives which keeps me a regular visitor.
Don't forget to signup for the rewards to save on them slurps! Also, please try bring your own straws and cups so we can reduce single use plastics to save our beautiful earth and save money whilst doing so!

I have these drinks in Taiwan and also in Vancouver in different stores . I am never dissatisfied and disappointed with these drinks .
I ordered two roasted milk tea and they taste just like water with pearl and not much of either milk tea and can’t taste tea flavor.
I ordered two milk made of fresh milk for my kinds . They normally would fight over for more . Both of them refused to drink more and ended up in garbage bin. I had a sip and it tasted like water plus water with not so chewy pearls . Also not sure why there’s a tea taste when I ordered fresh milk from Uber .
I ordered grapefruit green tea without sugar. All I can taste is this cheap grapefruit syrup and I can barely taste any green tea .
Don’t usually leave a review especially when bubble tea was invented where I was from . This is such a shame to call yourself bubble tea from Taiwan .

We never come to this Starbucks until August 10th (around 5pm) because it's on our way to New Westminster. The cashier was friendly but she seemed new. She proceeded to point at a plastic cup of iced water in front of me. I never ask for ice and I ask for it in my bottle. The overall experience was bad for just a simple drink order & a bottle water refill. The employees seem new & unhappy.

The guy at the register working at around 4 PM on July 29th (he had no name tag on) had this weird attitude for some reason and he was not interested in serving at all. My husband just came back from Waves 30 kin ago. He bought cheesecake and carrot cake. Cheesecake was good as always but carrot cake is Old and Stale! I never had anything this Hard and Dry sold to me. It's our anniversary and this is Super disappointing. It's a shame to charge people for this, and it's sad. Better say you run out of carrot cake than sell this.
UPDATE: decided to email the main branch to bring it to their attention and may be contribute to a better service to avoid disapointments like this in future for others as well.

Got my lunch here on Saturday, and met the nicest lady ever working. The was working so hard, baking muffins and making soups, while grilling me a sandwich. First time trying their gelato. We're allowed to taste test a maximum of 3 flavours. We found flavours like Black Sesame and Kulfi to be very strong, more enhanced than a lot of ice cream we've had before (which is a good thing). However, I settled on Cashew Dark Cherry (roasted cashew butter) and Pistachio. The cup is fairly small, but the server did do their best to pack in the gelato. The gelato has a nice creamy texture, which we enjoyed. Their only vegan options are sorbetto, but they do have a number of gelato flavours that are gluten free. Popular outlet in the middle of the hallway in the upper level of Metrotown. It was busy, and I imagine it will be even more popular in the summer!

I tried theis pistacchio gelato and it was not what I expected. I hoped creamy milk with pistacchio flavor but all I tasted was salt.
Also tried their vanilla bean and yuzu. The yuzu wasnt that good and it melted rather quickly. The vanilla bean was amazing. They had a promotion for free toppings. I forgot the normal price but when they out on 2 mini oreos, it is not worth paying normal for toppings.

I got to try their gelato during the free birthday treat. I got the black sesame and wow! It was so delicious. I had black sesame ice cream once in Japan a while back and I could not find something as good as it here in greater vancouver. So many places have gritty ones and some have overly nutty flavors. This one was perfect and I would definitely come here to eat it again.

My husband loves the ice cream so for his birthday yesterday I purchased him a 800g to-go box. It was priced at $60. I asked the staff if it was a single flavor because I couldn't remember which one he liked. I thought about getting 2 of smaller 300g options for one flavor each. However, I was advised that they do 3 flavors in the 800g and 2 flavors in the 300g. The containers on display did not depict the interior, so I would assume with this statement that it has dividers. Nope! They just put all ice cream in together haphazardly.
The girl who put my ice cream in was the literal definition of a Gen Z and their terrible service. She took 15 minutes to get my ice cream scooped. No smile, just disgust and annoyance that she had to do this. At the end, she took a giant spoon and smoothed all the flavors together. She put the lid on while ice cream leaked out the sides and put tape on it. Put it in a bag and handed it to me. The handle had ice cream on it! The inside of the bag had ice cream. As I was walking to my car, I heard creaking because I kid you not, the container which was styrofoam was pushing open against the tape. She had overfilled it and not taped it well. It took a 5-minute drive home, I told my husband I got ice cream and I told him the flavors. We opened the container and it was so hard to see where one flavor started and one ended.
I couldn't believe I spent $60 on that mess. The ice cream was great but this staff just did not care and ruined it.
The thing that drove me wild, is it asked for a tip before the service was provided which I opted to give!!! And I got this crappy service for a product that could have been amazing. It's just the staff opted to not care and ruined the product in the container. Hire or train better. This was a disaster.
