Really liked the dim sum here and you can tell it’s been freshly prepared. We did come at an odd hour, around 4pm. And they only serve dim sum until 530pm.
They had a special series because of the holidays, so we got a shrimp dumpling that was coloured black with the squid ink.
Unfortunately they didn’t have chicken feet. But their pork spare ribs with taro was tasty and so was their fried dumplings.

If you are ever at Marriott Manila please do yourself a favor and dine here at Man Ho! The food is so good!!! The service is also spot on with Ms Ella taking care of us. Do ask for her service when you dine with a group! She takes good care of your needs and wants!
We had the chance to try their Flambéed Pecking Duck and it was one of the best pecking ducks I have tried in Manila. The skin was crispy and the meat was succulent and tender. So so good! We also had it in second way minced duck with lettuce.
Do order their off the menu Fookien Fried Rice and the latest on their menu which we highly recommend: Crispy fried US beef short ribs in black pepper sauce!! ⭐️ such a winner, too!

Went there for dinner. We walked in past 9pm. The atmosphere was a bit quiet and gloomy, lights were not very inviting, the vibe was oldish, interiors were typical old chinese restaurant with red and gold everywhere.
Since it was quite late already, we decided to eat there. It was everyone's first time in this particular resto.
We ordered just a few items on the menu. Service was commendable. Food was not bad at all. Though a better ambiance could have made it even more palatable.

Good find in the basement level of Powerplant Mall. Prices are par for the area. Food is not bad - but nothing to write home about either.
The Peking Duck could have had crisper skin. Also, they could have sliced it thinner. Taste-wise it was fine. It's just those finer points that could be improved.
Service was good. Wait staff were helpful, respectful and quick on their feet. Ambiance is what you'd expect from a restaurant on the basement level.

Service could also be improved as the wait staff was lacking in comparison to the number of diners during a Sunday lunch. But if you are craving your run of the mill Chinese food in Power Plant this might probably be your best bet as the other Chinese restos inside the mall are too specialized or also serve the typical Cantonese fair but is probably even worse.

We had dimsum, duck, and wonton noodle soup which were decent. Too bad it was so hard to order: It felt like the staff were actively trying to avoid eye contact with us, which was weird because the place was nearly empty at the time. To top it off, I almost swallowed a piece of plastic that was inside my wonton. For Chinese food at this price, better just go to Din Tai Fung which is only a floor away. Or you can go to eight treasures a few stores away on the same floor, which is cheaper and about the same quality.

We had an excellent dining experience from start to finish. The dim sum was really good fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Overall, every dish was fantastic.
The birthday noodles were perfectly cooked with great texture. The salt and pepper spareribs were tender, well seasoned, and very satisfying. The squid was also tender and tasted fantastic, not chewy at all. The black pepper beef was soft and flavorful, though the cut pieces were a bit large smaller slices would make it even better.
The salt and pepper seamantis was a standout crazy good, soft, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The steamed suahe was fresh and cooked just right. The steamed crab with soy sauce was another highlight: the crabs were fat, the meat was juicy and fresh, and the flavor was excellent.
Even the sides and desserts did not disappoint. The fried buchi balls were really good, perfectly fried with a nice texture. The fish was also fresh and delicious.
Overall, we truly enjoyed the meal. Great food, good quality, and definitely a place worth coming back to.

Great Chinese food in the heart of Manila Chinatown. Went there for dinner and we really enjoyed the food. We were a group of 8. With no reservation, we were lucky to be accommodated immediately. We were led to a table in a nice spot.

I had a wonderful experience with the Shanghainese cuisine here. The meal began with a complimentary appetizer of crispy rice with seaweed, which was delightful! Kudos to the chef for that. The variety of soup dumplings was impressive; I particularly enjoyed the classic xiao long bao and the crab version, both were delicious.
The crispy pork stood out as my favorite from the meat platter—absolutely fantastic! However, I wasn't as keen on the Hainanese chicken, which was served a bit too cold, and the beef shank felt a tad dry. I’d recommend sticking with the crispy pork.

Location was excellent. Walking distance from the mall, so if you would like to go shopping after a meal it’s convenient. It’s a buffet but they bring the food to you unlike regular buffet places. Which I think saves them food cost and food waste that I agree. Food was good but it’s taking a very long time from the time you order and when it’s brought to your table. My recommendation is to order ahead so you’re not waiting for a long time. When we asked how many servings per plate since there are 13 of us. The server said two to three orders should be sufficient. As you can see from the photos it is a small serving. So it is not enough.
I love a private dinning room if you have a big party. However, when they close the door you have to wait for the server to come back if you need anything else.
Is it worth over 2k per person to dine? I don’t think so especially from traveling in different countries and experiencing buffet at other hotels. Ambience was impeccable and so is the cleanliness. Restroom is clean but very small for such a big hotel. Valley parking is available.

I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and the overall quality of the food. The prices were fair, especially considering it's a hotel restaurant. I found the seating to be clean and comfortable, though it did feel a little old.
For portion sizes, the soup is a generous serving for one person, and the fried rice could easily be shared by two to three adults.

If you could only go to one Chinese restaurant here in Manila for the rest of your life, it might as well be Gloria Maris. Me and my BIG family, all Chinoys, have gone to this restaurant their whole lives and for every occasion - wedding receptions, private dinners, you name it. It’s both pretty bougie in this HUGE ballroom yet oddly comforting for how they easily nail their food. We went on a Thursday at 6:30 PM. There are three main dining areas: fine dining, dimsum and hotpot, yet what’s always FILLED is the hotpot, so we leave that for special occasions and usually go to the dimsum for our regulars. The crowd starts to die down at around 8:30 PM. Thankfully there was a table open for 6 in a comfy couchy ‘U’ booth. They usually have a bank card promotion running for a whole month with 50% Off with a Minimum Purchase of P5000, which we totally availed leading our total of P8000 to P4000. To note, there is a service charge of 10% that is not included. The service was very prompt from our bill, extra ginger or even help de-shelling some prawns. Plus, our orders came in quickly. We ordered a BIG set full of vegetables, seafood, meat and noodles in a BIG pot divided by a chicken and satay broth, with free refills to boot. Very delicious, solid toppings and just an overall great experience. We got our regulars like the soupy Fukien Fried Rice, White Chicken paired nicely with a ginger sauce, Japanese siomai, Taro balls with some great filling <3, and the effervescent Mango Sago. What can I say? I just love this place. It holds a special place in my heart, as it does many Chinoys out there. It’s a MUST to eat at Gloria Maris at least once, and soon you shalt be converted~

Choi Garden has one of the best authentic Chinese food in the Metro. Visited last March 8, 2025 for dinner. We were a party of 5 and we got a total of 5 main dishes, 2 dimsums, and a dessert (not in photo) We were very full and had take out.
Choi Garden food is yummy, but had a couple comments for the food served to us during this specific visit.
🥢Cold Cuts Platter - A taste of different roast meats. Lechon Macau was crunchy, Soy Chicken was soft, but the Cha Siu Asado was tough (seems to be not as fresh anymore)
🥢Brocolli Shrimp - This dish could have been perfect if it wasn’t too salty. The brocolli was so green and well cooked, the shrimps were huge and crunchy! The saltiness however was borderline unbearable.
🥢Sweet and Sour Pork - I have always loved Choi Garden’s SSP because it is super crunchy! But for today, it was soggy 😭 Tastes good, but the crunch factor makes or breaks the whole dish in my opinion

Not sure if that’s supposedly how it’d taste lile but just thought it was TOO oily, flavors weren’t cohesive altogether, and still had oyster shells (you need to be careful eating!!).
Service is great tho you have to wait (if there’s plentiful of ppl inside). Waiting time was around 10mins on a Monday afternoon!
Nevertheless for the price (cheap or idk haha!) and the sweet and sour fish fillet which is my FAVORITE!!! It’s a prolly “going to go there 2x in a year vibe.”

The place wasn't that crowded despite lunch time so we asked for the couch seat so that our little one has more space to play while waiting for the high chair. Overall look is modern and clean. We stayed in a Guest Executive Room (West Wing), which is one of their premium offerings. The room is incredibly spacious, even the bathroom, and features a lovely sunrise balcony with a golf course view. My only small critique for a premium room is the lack of a bathtub.
Service & Security: Staff are friendly, and the guards are outstanding with security.
Amenities: The Gym is excellent, spacious, and well-equipped. The sauna is separated (his and hers), and the locker room is large and clean. The rooftop pool is small but sufficient, and the hot tub is great, though it might get crowded.
Dining: The Breakfast Buffet is just okay—nothing particularly noteworthy.
Location Note: Prices are typically ₱10,000 and up. Be aware that the nearby Casino (near Marriott) has poor ventilation, making the smoking area unpleasant. Overall, a solid 4-star experience.

Attended a whisky dinner at this high-end fine dining restaurant in the New Coast Hotel in Malate, Manila, and the experience is inconsistent.
Pros:
1. The place looked posh and sophisticated.
2. The wait staff assigned to our group was very attentive and polite, repeatedly refilling our goblet with water or replacing our small plates without being asked. I also saw the head of the wait staff observing and continuously accommodating guests' requests.
3. The 9 dishes served to us are mostly just ok. Not bad, but not great as well.
4. The whisky drinks served by the sponsor were great from the welcome drinks up to the featured drinks during the tasting. Not sure if they have them in their regular menu.
Cons:
1. We didn't pay for the food and I understand they were expensive but they were inconsistent. Out of the 9 dishes served, maybe just the dimsum platter and the dessert stand out and the rest are just ok.
2. The front desk is not manned all the time. It is located beside the bathroom, so the several times I went to the loo, no one was there to welcome guests.
3. The way to the parking from the main road is such a puzzle and would be problematic if one is not familiar.

Everything was "Exceptional" my only regret is I can't give 11/10 especially on the service. They were always attentive and in point. The servers don't stick or focus on just a few tables. They roam and observe all guests. They even think ahead of what the guests might want.

Another Mandarin Sky resto, and it’s good 👍 we came late but the restaurant was empty except a few dining families. We were a bit indecisive with our order but the wait staff was very patient with us.

We had Shanghai mein, Braised beef noodle soup, pork and shrimp siumai and Yang chow rice for lunch.
The Shanghai mein was sweet and delicious.
The braised beef noodle soup was a rich tasting stock soup with tasty beef and noodles, tasted authentically like what we have had previously in Hong Kong.
The siumai was delicious, comes Filipino style with calamansi.
The rice was nice too.
The staff could have been a little more observant, but they were very helpful when flagged down.
Unlimited refill iced tea is very tasty and not too sweet which is a refreshing change from most places in MoA!

We visited on a busy day, so service was a bit slow — we had to wait to be seated and couldn’t place an advance order. We ordered their noodles, xiao long bao, pork chop rice, drinks, and even dessert. Food was delicious as always!
But something unexpected happened — when I got home, I realized my phone was missing. I remembered taking photos of our food, so I knew I had it with me there. I tried calling it and even messaged Modern Shang on social media, but got no response.

Today I went there 6:30 pm for earlier dinner, ordered wok fry veggetable and sour &sweet fish fillet, one bowl of rice. Resorts World, Maxims Hotel and Newport Mall, always surprise me if high standards and extraordinary professionalism other than Passion Chinese Restaurant.
During the last one month, I dined twice in Passion at Resorts World and my experience was same. I was greeted and seated by uninterested hostesses, clueless waiters taking order. During my visit I ordered a beer and food together. But even after 15 mins and may followups there was no sign of beer and finally has to speak someone senior to get the beer. Also, during my last visit, I ordered vodka and food together. Once the order was taken a waiter brought, Chinese Tea, Peanut and XO Sauce. As there was no condiments like chilly sauce, table napkin or tissues, I had asked for the same to the waiter. Time was running by, no signs of my drink, no condiments, no napkins or tissues, everytime I followup with t waiter, he will just nod and disappear. In between I finished XO sauce and find it's tasty, so I asked the waiter to refill the Sauce, after few minutes he came back and told me, I have to pay for refill and I agreed. After several followups my drink came up and my paid XO sauce. And after several mins, my food came up, the spare ribs with salt and pepper was not at all spicy, which I specifically asked to make spicy while ordering. Since I was familiar with the attitude of the whole staff, I never argued and requested for the bill. Finally the bill came up and XO Sauce was charged twice, and when I asked about it, the waiter said even the Sauce he brought it at the first time was chargeable as well but he told me that before as well. And even during my previous visit to the restaurant the XO Sauce wasn't charged as well. Since, it was my birthday and looking for a decent, peaceful meal, rather than arguing to the clueless, unprofessional staff I left the restaurant with deep despair and agony.

I ask the employers to please take note. Fire majority of your service crew, waiters and staff. They are ruining your establishments. The service was horrible. The orders were given to the wrong people but they insisted they have served them to us. They went to lengths of even questioning me and describing the food they have claimed to have given me. The servers and staff were very rude. They served our food to different tables. When we followed up on the food we ordered, they insisted they served it to us. We were insulted when they described the food as they insisted on serving it to us. The multiple insisting made us feel like they thought we were cheating them. The horrendous service didn’t stop there. The bill, the change, the refund and the receipt took 30 minutes to settle we ended up leaving without our change when I asked for a follow up and they responded to give them several more minute.

港式快餐店
位于SM亚洲商城的添好运是任何渴望在舒适环境中享用正宗点心的人必去之地。以其美味的烤叉烧包而闻名，这些包子酥脆且充满风味，这个地方还提供令人愉悦的蒸饺，是购物后放松的理想场所。虽然所有地点的食物始终令人印象深刻，但服务可能参差不齐；曾有员工注意力不集中和订单偶尔出错的情况。
特别喜欢添好运，港式茶餐厅，小小的一人份，比较适合一个人和两个人的快餐。经济实惠，刚开始来菲律宾，找不到适合一人的餐厅，碰巧来这里，真的是吃的很开心，满足了我的中国胃。相对大型中餐厅来讲这里，可以吃2️⃣到3️⃣种小份食物，如果去大餐厅，一人份就很浪费，这里不会。相对菲餐厅，这里价格便宜，不会有很多油炸食品，也不会很咸，所以，吃友们大可来这里请客，都花不了几百人民币的样子😻

在香港中环我曾经排添好运排了一小时，在那么惜时的城市，和我拼桌的还是两个附近上班族。那天路过MOA这家时约下午两点，稍微等了三分钟安排我落座了（下午两点还等3分钟也真是牛）
叉烧包比在HK吃时逊色了些，可能这次不够烫吧。粥很好，之前在菲其他几家茶餐厅喝粥都不尽如人意。因为圣诞前夕去的，打包袋上还有圣诞小彩绳，很用心。希望以后有人一起去，能多点选择，我一个人点了600多P，吃不完(−_−＃)
港式茶餐厅，不踩雷。
在国外吃中国餐，要求不能太高了，这已经算是很好吃的了。总体来说口味偏甜。他们家的香芋西米露糖水好好喝，我每次去都会点。
港式茶餐厅，中国口味当然是最舒服，据说最近还得到了菲律宾第一大快餐连锁Jollibee的注资。
味道好，逛SM偶然发现的。三天的旅行时间一共去了两次，还有小笼包特别好吃

如果您正在寻找一个令人愉悦的用餐体验，不妨前往WOW COW FRESH BEEF HOT POT MAKATI。它位于一栋建筑的二楼，进入这个宝地可能有点不寻常，因为您需要走一些类似紧急出口的楼梯。然而，一旦进入，您会被一个既宽敞又设计精美的宜人氛围所迎接。空气中飘荡的诱人香气为即将到来的美食体验做好了准备。

别来 肉不行 料不行 老板这也想要 那也想要 最后哪个都不精 难吃！牛肉已经冻碎了 放盘里流汤 放锅里就散了 上的小菜变味了 给的猪肉也有味道 一轮没吃完就放筷子了 不推荐
餐厅环境可以的，在二楼，牛肉新鲜小菜量很足，前台一个个子特别高的小哥服务态度特别好，其他服务人员态度也不错。
之前都是在海鲜街那边吃那家六扇门，第一次来这边六扇门吃饭也是不错的体验，如果朋友聚餐可以选择这家餐厅，可以预订包间，如果你选周六周日的话还是打电话预定先，免得去了没有包间。
下面那个电话可以预定包间，记得跟他说这个餐厅的地址，因为他们还有别的分店。
味道很不错 但是价格过高 人均1700p左右
一家很有意思的店子，非常不好找，我和朋友转了两圈，楼上楼下跑了很久，问了无数人，不容易啊，是在麦当劳后面的小街上
这家在马尼拉有两家店子，在吉隆坡也有一家同名的店子，年初刚开。商业模式基本都一样，包价放开随便吃，食肉动物一定要来啊，吃个爽爽的。
和国内的潮汕牛肉火锅差不多，这家的肉质也还可以，以这种方法吃牛肉，肉类新鲜是必须的，不然就失去意义了
服务态度很好的，还帮着涮，你只要吃就好了，啥也不用管，真好呀
