They use the REAL noodles from that factory in Fall River. I ate some of my fiance's pork fried rice (picking out the "pork" lol), and I thought it was EXTREMELY DRY, like it had been sitting out for a while We did get there an hour before they closed, but still... It had a little strong pepper taste, but not enough that would stop me from ordering it again. The broccoli was delicious, the beef cooked just the way I like (well done, which I did ask for). The pork friend rice was good, flavorful and fluffy, not dry... But I did have to dig long and far to find pork. Throughout the whole large sized order, there was probably 10 pieces. That was the only thing that was kind of a bummer, but it's wasn't bad tasting, it was just very light on pork. I'd Def recommend them, but keep that in mind when ordering pork friend rice if you like a lot pork in it. I'd order there again for sure! Well after having lunch here, this place definitely merits/ deserves recognition. It would be an injustice if I didn't. A co-worker of mine that lives in New Bedford highly recommended Jade Garden to me. I arrived shortly after it opened for lunch. I ordered the Spicy Orange Chicken which comes with white rice but requested to have it substituted with fried rice, it was no problem. I waited a little over 10-15 minutes to get my food served. The waitress who attended me was very hospitable. What I liked about her was that she didn't rush me, that way I could take my time reviewing the menu since it was my first time there. When I tasted my food I could tell immediately it was fresh, not something already cooked and nuked in a microwave. And the taste...well all I can say is, I was a very satisfied and happy customer. The portions of the Orange Chicken were huge, could NOT finish it all. I only ate half and took the rest home. I am originally from New York City and have eaten at some good Chinese restaurants there in China Town. I must say Jade Garden ranks up there with them. This place has my highest recommendation👍

I paid $12.07. This price seems to be at par with other restaurants in the area. And the portion you get is huge. My issue is that the food was simply not good. The general tso’s chicken tasted like ketchup and wasn’t spicy at all. The chicken teriyaki was dry and not flavorful. The chow mein , unfortunately, also lacked flavor, and I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. I will say that the chicken fingers were good and paired well with their duck sauce. I really wanted this to be a good experience, and I was really looking forward to this food. I hope that the food isn’t usually like this, and that my experience with them was a fluke.

The chicken fingers had no flavor whatsoever tasted like they were deep fried and water. The lo mein had nothing in it but noodles and meat. There was no spring onions, no P shoots nothing at all. The rice was dried out and flavorless. The spare ribs were either overcooked or dried out and drowned in what I can only imagine was sugar water the crab Rangoon‘s had no crab in them whatsoever. It was just a soggy piece of dough stuffed with cream cheese. I will most definitely never go back to this restaurant because the experience was horrifying to say the least, not to mention the eggrolls, which usually can’t be messed up, the eggrolls tasted like water. There was no flavor in anything whatsoever none of the dishes that I ordered had any flavor no salt no spices no nothing. I highly recommend not going here.

Last time we went it was different and not for the better. My husband said it was a different man out front also. We figured everyone can have a bad day so we tried it again a few months later. It's decent Chinese take-out, for what it is. The place is clean. Food is made to order, also no MSG when you ask, which is great! I'm allergic. It's mostly a take-out restaurant, not really sit in. Typical Americanized Chinese food, pretty much the same thing you get from anywhere. The place was clean and we got our food pretty quickly. Also, pretty large portions for the price! Person taking the order was friendly enough I guess. Their soda selection was wonky, lots of Mt Dew the one day, then pretty much only Pepsi the 2nd, and another day they had a lot of orange crush and diet soda... (cans and bottle drinks only). I'd probably go back if I'm ever in town again. Still looking for a Chinese restaurant that has anything on their menu that is a little more authentic tho.
