It was less than 30 minutes to closing when we arrived but they still warmly welcomed us in. We decided to do takeout and order a spicy sushi combo and a fancier roll. We ordered and paid, then took the food home. It is still sometimes difficult for me to adjust to the pricing vs quality of sushi since I moved here from BC where fish is cheap and plentiful, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that this place was decently priced and well worth it in presentation, service, and quality. We got home and the fancier roll was carefully placed and wrapped in a way so that the pieces stayed upright and intact. Fish quality was very good. And wasabi had a good punch. I appreciated that the sushi chef also put the wasabi in the nigiri pieces. I am looking forward our next visit, next time not so late, so we can try other dishes like the grilled fish.
