It doesn't matter if there are two of us or a family of five going for a meal the service and food is always outstanding. The restaurant is lovely and cosy. The staff can't do enough to give you a fantastic dining experience. If you don't want to dine in, you can order online for collection or delivery (if you live close enough). We are lucky to live very close. They do not use any couriers, one of the wonderful staff from the restaurant delivers the food. The food is just as great when delivered as it is when dining in. In all the years I have been eating here (both dining in and takeaway) I have never ever had a complaint about the food. I won't go anywhere else. There were six of us in on the 13th November for my dad's birthday. The staff put a candle in his dessert for him which was so lovely. Thank you all for the amazing food and service over the years. From cakes to fruits dessert also has a variety to choose from and each is fresh and tastes good. The staff are all super helpful and always collected the plates when we were finished, there was no wait for a table because there’s so much seating area in the restaurant. Was clean all throughout toilets inclusive of course! which I was very impressed by. Prices are also decent for standard buffet with drinks inclusive which is also a bonus! Restaurant location is easy to find and easily accessible.

As a veggie it can be hit and miss on what veg u get in ur dish, last time it was mainly onion and potato, and we had a potato based side dish so not the best. Had a takeaway last night after a few months, the sauce for the massalla was a different colour, a very rich deep red, to the last few times and tasted exceptional and I was thrilled to have broccoli and French beans in mine. Ordered for 4 people for weekend night out this Saturday evening. For starters papadums with chutney and salad. Main dishes we house specials 2 lamb dishes, king prawns plus saag spinich with 2 rice sides pilau and special rice. Paratha plus garlic Naan and to end the night matka kulfi and ice cream. The lamb dishes we satisfactory well seasoned just slightly well done. Prawns were disappointing leaving them unshelled and with the sharp tail ruined the dish and we asked for the saag to be seasoned as it was plain and not edible. Desserts were ok but you could tell they were left in a freezer for too long. In all the food was average value was not quite there and they could have used metal karahi when serving the dishes as the food got cold too soon. I decided to sample my two go to dishes here. Overall, was well made and decent. But not perfect and a little bit of excessive MSG use left me thirsty afterwards. A good chinese place does not need to use too much MSG. I’ll start with the BBQ Pork fried rice. I actually ordered this without pea but was still included, perhaps a miscommunication, so I’ll let that one slide. Can’t say they contributed much to the flavour unfortunately. The pork was decent had flavour with the egg and rice. Not too salty but can tell it had salt, unfortunately not enough soy sauce (both light and dark) was used. The colour of the rice was pretty light and they compensated by using more salt and MSG rather than putting reliance on soy sauce to do the job. Egg felt like it was missing flavour, it tells me they may have separated the egg yolk out and didn’t crack a fresh egg in the wok. The BBQ Pork was deep fried rather than roasted and shown signs of marination; decently prepped. It wasn’t the best was definitely decent. Above the UK national standard I expect from a Chinese takeaway/restaurant. Good portion size for the standard size container. Now salt and pepper chicken. I must praise the size of the chicken & how well the batter was made. Chicken texture was not dry, very well made batter, crispy without overcooking the chicken. 10/10 on their prep and deep frying anthology. Unfortunately, this perfectly well prepped chicken is let down by their salt and pepper spice mix, the mixture was not distributed well so a fair share of the flavour was stuck at the bottom of the container. Right level of spice kick from using fresh chili, correct. Excessive amount of fresh chopped onions is used, it didn’t spend enough time in the wok doing the spice mix so it wasn’t charred unfortunately. Good mix of other dried spices and seasoning. What was most interesting was the inclusion of what looked like crispy rice noodle at the bottom underneath everything. Not a bad thing but thats a UK first for me in comparison to other chinese establishments. Despite my criticism, I do recommend coming here to order. As the food quality all round is good. It also wasn’t oily! Do be aware that they only accept cash before visiting.

The service staff are helpful and the delivery drivers are always incredibly friendly and polite. The best part about this place is the food. It's delivered piping hot and the smell washes over you as you open the bag, brilliant aromas from the curries and sides. I've been given complimentary poppadoms and sides in the past. The range of curries is excellent as well as the choices of sides, breads, starters and rice is extensive, ranging from mild to very hot. Each dish cooked perfectly with volumes of flavour. Unfortunately it recently changed hands, I ordered my standard favourites, what a difference, I ordered Szechuan king prawns, chicken and squid all mixed 1/3 of each in a large portion (£15!!!), which I expected to come in a large takeaway tub the size that you get spare ribs in, there is no way that this was a portion and a half. No surprise the dish was chicken heavy and was padded out with vegetables, a few king prawns and a few bits of squid. The salt and pepper king prawns were tasteless as were the pancake rolls. If you are going to trade from a near exact copy of the old menu at least let people know that the dishes are not the same. I have never had broccoli or bamboo shoots in my Szechuan before! I called them to express my feelings and spoke to a lady who continued to call me darling when I asked her not to. I was offered a £5 voucher off a meal of over £40! No thank you they would have to pay me to order from them again.

My stomach was empty and in hinesight I should have had some food as these didn't settle at all plus it was a sticky hot day temp around 26 celceus. As soon as you eat these you feel the spice which for your average person is a sight to stop but not for me. Took a whole table spoon full of the gravy and some chicken and sat. Immediately after the spice hits you the heat rises after a few minutes I started to sweat. I didn't bow out and ate almost the gravy and the chicken wings but it was hard when you could feel the burn from mouth to stomach. I commend these guys for making something this hot it took me out that night had to chase down the spice with water ice cream and milk and it still wasn't complying my digestive system. Not recommended for anyone to eat but try if you up to the task.
