We went to eat here on a Thursday evening around 7pm. There were one other table finishing off their meal. Once they left we were alone in a quiet restaurant. Due to this the atmosphere wasn’t very pleasant. We also noticed there were a few dirty tables which hadn’t been cleaned and dried food on the floor, presumably from the night before. The staff were pleasant and friendly but ultimately this didn’t really aid to the empty restaurant which was semi clean. The food was very average and really not as flavoursome as I would expect. We took recommendations from the server so we expected these to be their best dishes. After finishing our table was cleared away and I asked for the bill. It didn’t come and so I had to ask again, when it did arrive the last straw for me was when I was told they don’t take card payment. I could either pay by cash or a bank transfer - I do not think this is acceptable. In this day and age pop up coffee shops take card payment, so I can’t understand why this place doesn’t. So in sum up. I wouldn’t go again and I can’t recommend it.

There was lots of choice and all our curries were delicious. The okra starter was a highlight. The homemade naan bread is vegan and large, very tasty. It was far from cheap, but the food was ok. I wouldn’t rush back. Cash only, but strange these days. They looked busy with takeaway but we were the only table in the restaurant and it was a weekend. This meant that the female owner wouldn’t leave us alone the whole time. Wanted to tell us her life story about her inheriting her fathers business bla bla. There are many old favourites on the menu, but there are a good number of curries that I have not seen on any other menu and these are real taste explosions. The restaurant looks decent from the outside and our server Atul was genuinely courteous and helpful, doing his best to make us comfortable. That’s the only good part of the evening. Before coming, I had called to ask about a few specific dishes and was assured that they serve Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken. When we arrived, I was told they don’t make Dal Makhani at all, and their “Butter Chicken” turned out to be a sugary, bland Butter Masala instead. The chicken curry was full of artificial colouring, the naan was undercooked, and the green chillies we requested for the salad were rotten; see the pictures attached. Even the spoons were dirty, and we had to ask twice before we were finally given clean ones. As if that wasn’t enough, the dining experience was completely ruined by a grown man (clearly connected to the family running the place) who decided to run around our table playing tag with a small child, trying to impress his guests. It felt more like a living room than a restaurant. No one from the staff had the basic sense or professionalism to stop him, even though it was disturbing everyone trying to eat. When I went to use the toilet, it was filthy, the seat was dirty, and there was no toilet roll. At that point, any hope of enjoying the food was gone. Honestly, this is nowhere near authentic Indian food. We ate only because we were hungry, not because we enjoyed a single thing about it. Tasty food from a very good and varied menu. Spicing in the various dishes are so aromatic and a taste sensation. On each occasion we have tried a different starter and had a different main course. None have disappointed. Naan breads are lovely. This was my 4th visit with my husband and this time we had friends with us. They too thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food. The singing bowls is a very interesting experience as well. Food is reasonably priced too. Good portion sizes. Unobtrusive and very friendly staff. When looking to place the order it’ll say approx 45mins for delivery, immediately after paying for the order you get notified it’ll take longer (an hour) and then you wait over an hour after the original scheduled delivery time. When calling to find out the order status they say it’s on the way and won’t be long, when you attempt to find out what that means in terms of how many minutes, they hang up. Time management & customer service skills are awful, won’t be using or recommending this place. Food is just ok (lamb chewy), not worth the wait!

To which they told me i can not do that and hung up on me. I recommend that people never use this take away and i will never be going there again as there customer service is rubbish.
