I was surprised because every place I’ve been to before has the beef or tofu or whatever protein on top of cooked veggies, usually a lot of cabbage, which I love. They said no and suggested serving me a helping of veggies for an additional charge, I was offended and I won’t be going back there. It was not busy when I arrived. I ordered the Chirashi Donburi and the Dancing Unagi Special Roll on brown rice for dinner. The raw fish in the donburi was excellent, being very savoury and fresh. The fermented rice was good, however I had some trouble swallowing it. The sushi was great and could taste every ingredient in the role and complimented each other in taste. The service was good and can think of no complaints that would hinder the professions of the staff. The restaurant had a modern look while having some trademark Japanese countenance. This is a great Japanese restaurant with a unique variety of sushi recipes and fine quality food. I would like to come back there someday.

When we looked at menu it took a couple minutes before a staff would look up from their phone and when we said we just wanted to view the menu they promptly went back to where they were sitting to go back to whatever was so interesting on the phone. We then went with two mains to share: 1. Sweet Basil Cashew and Prawn Stir Fry 2. Lemongrass Chicken and Rice They were both tasty and plentiful. The service was excellent and the atmosphere peaceful and pleasant. The restaurant is located at the quiet end of a strip mall with lots of parking. We recommend it highly.

New Saigon iced tea: Not a fan, tasted artificial and had a peachy taste. Dragon chicken: Perfect spice level and fry was on point. Crispy and tasty without being overly salty. A must get Henry’s vermicelli: Portion was good and filling, right amount of fish sauce added, where it was not overpowering. Spring rolls were fried perfectly though they were slightly on the dense side (too much compacted meat), nonetheless very tasty and would have it again. Grilled pork and shrimp portion was also generous and really well done! Would definitely be willingly to eat anything fried here!!

When we were looking for a place to eat we decided to try them out. A little worried at first because when places have multiple types of cuisine they can sometimes be subpar. We ordered from the Happy Hour menu, I had the butter chicken with included perfectly cooked rice & fresh hot naan my friend had nachos. I scoped out other dishes being carried to resident tables and again impressed with quality, presentation and portions. I checked out the breakfast menu and the prices were incredibly value priced for your basic Canadian breakfast selection; $9 is cheaper than drive through fast food options and popular breakfast chains. We spent two hours relaxing and enjoying our meals, no rush or hurry to turn tables and plenty to take home with us. Give this one a try for sure, I’ll definitely be back and hope to try other menu items but that butter chicken was so good I may not be able to move past it!! The first time we dined here we fell in love with their lemon chicken, the batter was so light and not doughy in the inside. I ordered a lunch size sweet Mongolian and boy oh boy was it ever small. I wouldn't expect that it would have been the small considering it was $8 plus tax. I think they need to make their boxes a bit bigger considering there is very little food and more indicative of child size. My first bite was okay set my second by they realize there really wasn't much flavor. I didn't hate it, but I didn't really like it either. Will I go back? Maybe! Came to just under $15. The fish was cut in tiny strips and fried in advance so it was completely dried out. This is completely different from any other location I’ve been to that gives sizeable pieces to at are crispy on the outside and tender inside. The worst was the coconut milk I paid over $2 for was 1/2 ounce that they measured in a disposable sauce cup and brought out from the kitchen. How stingy are these people? Every other location I’ve been to pours a good amount straight from the can into the bowl. There were also no pieces of tomato that is found in other locations. Lastly they use a small generic white takeout bowl instead of the large clear disposable bowls that every location that actually follows franchise standards uses. They handed me my noodles with no tray and didn’t even give me any utensils until I asked while standing there holding my noodles. Everything about this location was CHEAP. $15 I can get a good bowl of pho with fresh veggies, and generous amount of meat. Why would anyone spend $15 to eat this bowl of noodles knowing that this is the way they serve it? The food court stall next to them has shut down. Fried rice with chicken and some chicken pineapple thing. There was virtually no pineapple, the beef in my dish was more like some kind of mystery meat ball. Thai food should be bursting with flavor, an adventure for your taste buds. This was as bland as it gets and both dishes were beyond dry. The chicken in the rice was basically inedible and no lie, when we first saw it in it's ultra thin, wrinkled up form we didn't know if it was a wonton or, well, use your imagination and picture a body part that is wrinkled looking skin all the time. I'm sorry that it's harsh (not really) but it was gross. We will stick with the authentic Thai places. It was late and this was what was open, so we tried. With a 4.1 star rating we had a reasonably high expectation which was not met in any way at all. Total fail especially considering we live on the east side of abbotsford and drive to high street for this.
