It's like cabbage pickles covered with red color. I could tell there's no fermentation processed when they made it. But i kinda understand the concept of this restaurant...people are not familiar with Asian food, so let's offer all kinds of Asian food without being so authentic. Because many local people might not like strong flavor of Asian food.... If you're Asian, want to eat good Asian food, I would advice to not go this place. Big bowl of delicious noodles, seasoned broth, fresh veggies & properly cooked chicken. - veggie dumplings (vegan). Crispy. Lots of flavor. Was a perfect appetizer for the table - vegan pad Thai. The pad Thai dish can be made vegan (as per the menu!) The portion was large with plenty of delicious noodles, loaded in sauce, fresh veggies & house made seitan (mock meat) It was delicious, filling & flavorful! The sauce was perfect with the veggies & noodles. - pickled veggies super crispy, fresh & a perfect side to the vegan Thai dish! - Thai iced coffee (vegan) with coconut milk. So delicious. We LOVED our dinner at Yum Yum Noodle Bar! Seriously, super fresh & amazing Asian fare. The vibe was chill. Food was great. And the clearly vegan labeled items were a hit!

There are one or two small tables but your pretty much going to take it to go. Be advised there is a credit/debit card minimum transaction but it's very reasonable. Within this milieu they do what they do very well. I've never gotten a bad order from them. The family that owns it are total sweethearts. Many a night with crummy weather when I haven't felt like cooking this place has been a lifesaver. The menu is huge. Perfect crisp on the outside with chewy and lightly salty inside- served with a sweet dipping sauce Home Style Tofu - tons of fresh veggies- zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, broccoli. General’s Tofu- I want to back right now and order a few of these. Super crunchy tofu with a lightly sweet/savory sauce- perfect ratio! The food was okay, not great. I was really creeped out by the older woman that was standing next to the food. She was standing practically right next to me and everytime I moved to try and get away from her, she would move right next to me again! It made me sooooo uncomfortable. I felt like I was being watched the entire time. When we walked in around 630-7 pm there was only one table with people. That was a red flag as soon as we walked in. It was just overall a very uncomfortable experience and I would never pay to be watched like that. It's not cheap and the food is mediocre at best. Despite having just opened in October 2021, this place set a golden standard for Ramen and for Japanese cuisine and culture in the Hudson Valley. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly wait staff and a very positive atmosphere. After being seated at the Ramen bar, we were offered drinks. The teas and authentic selection of other beverages was awesome. We ordered the Yaki Gyoza, shown in one of the images. They were steamed and crispy on the bottom and very flavorful. We also ordered tofu, which was soft and delicate and extremely flavorful. The miso Ramen was the star of the show. It was presented beautifully. But actually, the real star was the head chef herself. She was very passionate about her food and loved explaining how to properly eat Ramen and the tradition behind it. The mini grocery was really cute. We brought mango cutney, nimbu pani, and chips. The mango chutney was good. The nimbu pani had some extra black salt in it for my taste preferences, but my spouse liked it. I tried the sample rice dessert, but the rose essence took over the main flavor of the dish, so we didn't order it. We had mughlai chicken, rice, pickles, and lentils. Mughlai chicken: too much oil mixed with the curry itself, which is why it was hard to taste the currys' flavor itself. Mughlai chicken is a thicker based curry in general. I think the nut paste and yogurt could've been cooked more. It truly lacked flavor from my end. Food didn't come out at the same time, it took them 45 mins to get everyone their food. Someone in our party told the waitress NO ginger on his plate as hes allergic to it and his plate had ginger on it. Also the waitress spilled a drink on me and they didn't even offer extra napkins to clean it up and when they finally brought napkins we had to clean the spill that the waitress caused. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. I watched people leave and the tables were not even cleaned off, even after an hour. I could understand if the place was busy but it wasn't.
